Considering how long ago Roe v Wade was enacted, I came to awareness of the abortion Holocaust very late in life. Photographs of aborted children were the turning point for me. Photography is such a powerful medium. One thinks of the photos taken by the Allies of the Nazi concentration camps and the piles of the naked dead. When I think of Tienanmen Square I see the picture in my mind of the lone individual standing in front of a column of Chinese tanks. How about you? What do we see when we hear the words: “Iwo Jima”? As many Roman Catholic Bishops have said repeatedly: “America will not end abortion until America sees abortion.” Words are not enough as they were not enough in the Nazi Holocaust. People need to see.

The Jews had to be made into villains by propaganda before they could be slaughtered by the millions. They were blamed for the Depression and blamed for Germany’s loss of the First World War. They were blamed for the Treaty of Versailles. Blaming precedes victimization.

I don’t see Christians being rounded up and sent in box cars to extermination camps. But I see Christians being made into villains. The word “fundamentalist” which is now used for all Christians and Roman Catholics and linked by the media to Moslem “fundamentalists” and therefore linked to danger and terrorism shows villainization in progress. The idea that Christians are all pederasts at some level, either actually or potentially is an example of secular propaganda and demonization. One thinks of how the Jewish people were seen by the Nazi’s as “vermin” and as “a plague,” a scourge on the body politic. I heard someone at a restaurant the other day saying: “After I hear Christians talking I feel like I need to take a shower to decontaminate myself.” My mind instantly flashed to the Nazi “decontamination showers” which used Xylon gas to do what the Nazi’s called “exterminate” the Jews and other “rats” the Nazi’s imagined in their warped minds.

One sees how the crucifix is becoming the Star of David to secular society. Hatred of the symbol of the Cross has nothing to do with a geometric object and everything to do with hatred of Christians. Black metal rock groups, the omnipresent skulls on tattoos and t-shirts . . . On the wall outside Project Defending Life, the pro-life Catholic ministry in my city, one often finds Nazi swastikas and black magic pentagrams spray painted on the walls. Interesting how this kind of graffiti is somewhat protected as free speech by local law enforcement officers, who laugh it off.

This is how it all begins. You know what I’m talking about. The Obama administration has outlawed religious freedom for Roman Catholics. Far left liberals say we are being overly dramatic and making a mountain out of a molehill. Oh really? The Obama administration has ruled that “Thou shalt not kill” must be ignored  in “some cases” by Roman Catholic institutions. Infanticide, which is murder, has been “protected” nationally since Roe v Wade. Now Roman Catholic institutions must aid and abet murderous infanticide or basically cease to exist: “help us murder or cease to exist.” “Prove that you love the State more than you love God or your fellow man.”

When Japan attempted not so long ago to stamp out Christianity, the government would bring an image of Jesus or Mary into a village and ask each villager to step on it to “prove” they were not Christians. Those who refused were often crucified. Perhaps nothing is greater as an “image of God” than the innocent unborn. We are being asked as Catholics to step on it, to crush it with our own heal in submission to the all-powerful State. True, this is not “exactly” like Hitler’s Germany. It is worse! Those who want to kill their unborn children are “protected” by the State. And now the State requires us not only to witness this, not only to fund it by a subterfuge that all know is a subterfuge. Now the State requires us to participate in the holocaust: “You Catholics may do all your Catholics things on one little teeny tiny condition: participate in the contraceptive and abortion Holocaust.”

Murderers are a “protected class” and one must join them. This is diabolical.
