Universi Dominici Gregis #80 seems to have been violated by Cardinal McCarrick. After the election, he admits to being influenced by an “external” person, who suggested that he “push Bergoglio” prior to the election. McCarrick then admits to indirectly pushing Bergoglio during pre-conclave presentations. See:

Cardinal McCarrick is certainly ‘smitten’ with Francis. I was not able to hear every word because he kept turning his mouth downwards toward the lecturn. (my own hearing deficit of course had nothing to do with it.) He listened to his “friend” , before the conclave whom he spent time with before the conclave, during which his friend was going on and on about the merits of “Bergoglio” however: ” In five years ” Bergoglio “can reform the Church” ! He was an avid supporter then, and, more so when he heard Cardinal Bergoglio speak about the “poor on the peripheries” in his conclave speech.
