Dear Bishop Gracida,
The cultural marxists/globalists were within a whisker of fulfilling their dream of fundamentally transforming America with Hitlery’s election. The secret sauce of the revolutionaries is to be constantly changing the grievances, oppressions, racisms, gender inequalities, identity politics, ad hominems, partial truths until the people are exhausted mentally, emotionally, and their will’s are sapped of any desire to resist.
They are not interested in life, liberty, and the pursuit of haapiness; they are only interested in power. Like the power to prevent people from seeking medical help with same sex attractions or gender dysphoria even when, they themselves, are the ones who desperately want the medical help. Or you being forced to pay for abortions with your tax dollars or you being forced to perform an abortion if you are a doctor or nurse in order to keep your job is just fine with the revolutionaries, but separating children safely away from their captors ( disguised as their parents ) while trying to solve a difficult national security problem is so unloving of us that we are fully justified in violently overthrowing our duly elected government. The revolutionaries only allow you to make one choice and take one direction, you can never change your mind once you have accepted their ideology. You will be their subjects one way or another.
Saint Edith Stein wrote “ never accept anything as love which lacks truth! “ So when the revolutionaries in this country claim to love you more and better than “ the others “ make sure you take the time to keep your passions in check until you have had a chance to evaluate the “ truth “ of the matter. You will quickly hear the verbal abuse from the revolutionaries for, quite simply, delaying the revolution.
Bishop Gracida, I can only marvel at your love and self-sacrifice for your flock and count my blessings for having you in my life via your blog. You are a true shepherd! And on this Independence Day, I would like to thank you for your military service to your country as well.

I don’t think anyone is saying they agree with the policy of child separation. I believe the point being made is that if the vitriol aimed at Trump is justified then it would have also been so against Obama or Clinton, as they approved similar actions and created legislation to enforce it.
There was just not as much hysteria for several reasons. One big factor is the growing scourge of social media but none of the reasons have to do with previous administrations’ “more compassionate” stance on immigration. They talked as tough and in many cases were just as cruel to children; they just waffled more and pandered to a different crowd.
It was the step-up of the ninos separados that turned the tide. I am very, very anti-“skip the line” myself. Everyone needs to follow the law, period, end of discussion. But those pictures of kids in silver plastic, in cages, and being taken from the adults they were clinging to…no, that was one toke over the line, Sweet Jesus. WE NEED TO FIX THIS. As I said before, I don’t care if it went on with earlier presidents, I don’t care if a Repub or Dem started it. I. Don’t. Care. You don’t provide a containment area where the littlest ones can stay with their mom, dad, or [blinkin’] COYOTE, that is WRONG.
SHAME ON US. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.
