KEEP LOOKING UP (TO JESUS CHRIST, THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD)

[ A friend (Bernice Jones) sent this email to me.  It has a spiritual message for all of us and so I post it her for you to see !!!  Abyssum ]

Dear Bishop Gracida,

Please see the attached pictures.

The first picture is one of my rose bushes that was planted under a fir tree.  The rose and rose bud grew twenty-five feet to reach the sun and bloom.

No, this isn’t a climbing rose bush! The will to live and strive is reaching for our Lord Who is the Light of the world. God commanded this rose to bear good fruit and this wasn’t possible without the light.

I took the second picture from beneath the fir tree, showing the rose bush extending upward through the tree branches.  If you follow the main branch (to left) up through the tree branches you will see a glimpse of the rose above.

God gave me a new meaning to the old saying—take time to smell the roses! Isn’t God amazing!

I hope you are blessed by this extraordinary creation of God that was absolutely effortless for Him.

Keep praying and keep looking upward! God preforms miracles every day. Let’s keep our eyes focused on Christ, His masterpiece, people, and the wonder of our Lord’s sovereignty.
