Guns are not responsible for mentally ill ex-cons throwing people into oncoming subway trains, or for “smash and grab” thugs who steal from department stores. They also have nothing to do with violent felons who are back on the street before the police complete their paper work.The real reason crime is increasing at an alarming rate has everything to do with the leaders of Biden’s party. Democrat-run cities, with George Soros-funded D.A.’s, have sent criminals and cops a message: social justice means less penalties for violent criminals and less interest in the welfare of the police.

Once again the good Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, who turned 81 on January 16, has written a searing, even emotional, appeal to his fellow bishops and to the world to have a full and open scientific assessment of the current epidemic and the vaccinations proposed and imposed to confront the disease.     The issue at its heart seems to be the one of scientific transparency. Viganò is as a pastor concerned for the health of children, first of all, because they are the future, and then for the common good of all society in the face of the many grave challenges before us.
