Supreme Court Upholds Arizona Voter Restrictions, Spelling Trouble For DOJ Georgia Voter Rights Lawsuit

The United States Supreme Court ruled, Thursday, that two “Republican-backed ballot restrictions” in the state of Arizona do not violate the Voter Rights Act of 1965, opening the door for voter restriction measures nationwide, and spelling trouble for the Department of Justice’s lawsuit, announced earlier this week, challenging new measures just passed in Georgia.

“The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday endorsed two Republican-backed ballot restrictions in Arizona that a lower court found had disproportionately burdened Black, Latino, and Native American voters, handing a defeat to voting rights advocates and Democrats who had challenged the measures,” Reuters reported. “The 6-3 ruling, with the court’s conservative justices in the majority, held that the restrictions on early ballot collection by third parties and where absentee ballots may be cast did not violate the Voting Rights Act, a landmark 1965 federal law that prohibits racial discrimination in voting.”

Notably, the “three liberal justices” dissented from the decision, while the court’s six conservative and moderate judges sided with Arizona’s plan to rein in the state’s expansive early and absentee voting rules.

Reuters noted that the ruling comes at a time when Republican governors are pressing for greater voter restrictions, pushing back against liberalizing early and absentee voting rules in many states that greatly expand the period of time in which ballots may be cast ahead of election day, and that liberalize the conditions under which state residents may vote absentee.

“The case involves a 2016 Arizona law that made it a crime to provide another person’s completed early ballot to election officials, with the exception of family members or caregivers. Community activists sometimes engage in ballot collection to facilitate voting and increase voter turnout. Ballot collection is legal in most states, with varying limitations. Republican critics call the practice ‘ballot harvesting,’” per Reuters. “The other restriction at issue was a longstanding Arizona policy that discards ballots cast in-person at a precinct other than the one to which a voter has been assigned. In some places, voters’ precincts are not the closest one to their home.”

Justice Samuel Alito, writing for the majority made clear that, despite these restrictions, voting remained “equally open” to all of Arizona’s eligible and registered voters. “Mere inconvenience,” he said, “cannot be enough to demonstrate” a Constitutional violation.

Alito and the majority declined, however, to create a bright-line rule governing which voter restrictions fell within Constitutional purview.

“[W]e think it prudent to make clear at the beginning that we decline in these cases to announce a test to govern all VRA §2 claims involving rules, like those at issue here, that specify the time, place, or manner for casting ballots,” he wrote.

The case, however, will likely have consequences for the Department of Justice’s lawsuit in Georgia, which, as the Daily Wire reported, “alleges that recent changes to Georgia’s election laws were enacted with the purpose of denying or abridging the right of black Georgians to vote on account of their race or color in violation of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.”

Those laws in Georgia mandate that a voter must be in line to vote by the official poll closing time of 7 pm, and restrict electioneering at the polls. Because those laws do not necessarily abridge the right to vote for eligible and registered Georgia voters, the DOJ’s lawsuit may run afoul of Thursday’s ruling.

Pastoral Incoherence

The Church in America is in the midst of a controversy over so-called “Eucharistic coherence.”  The debate focuses on the duties of the faithful (especially politicians) in receiving Holy Communion and of the bishops in overseeing that reception.  While the issue is vital, it’s symptomatic of a graver, half-century-old crisis that, like many family dysfunctions, remains deliberately unaddressed: pastoral incoherence. Unless that root problem is acknowledged, Eucharistic coherence is destined to remain little more than a pious aspiration.

The pastoral life of the Church is succinctly described in Acts 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the teaching of the Apostles and to the communal life (communio), to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers.”  The fraternal sharing in those elements of the Gospel constitutes the “holy communion” that is the Church without which there can be no “Holy Communion” at Mass.

The Church Fathers often reflected on the intricate nature of the communio sanctorum.  In Latin, sanctorum means either “of the holy ones” or “of the holy things.”  So, the communion of the “holy things” (shared belief, life, sacraments, and worship) is both the foundation and expression of the communion of the “holy ones.”  Reception of the Body of Christ in Holy Communion is a sign and means of sharing his life and teaching as members of his Body and Bride, the Church, which is the Communion of Saints.

The problem facing us regarding Eucharistic Coherence is that the faithful have for more than fifty years received openly contradictory presentations of “the teachings of the apostles” without pastoral correction from the bishops.  This is true of preaching, spiritual guidance, catechesis, Catholic education, marital preparation, and seminary formation.

The result is chaos.  The seminarians trained by dissident theologians beginning in the 1960s are now bishops and senior priests. During the intervening decades, they and their progeny often ran the seminaries, staffed diocesan pastoral centers, and held tenured positions at Catholic universities.  Under their “guidance,” we are now into the third or fourth generation of Catholics who have little awareness of authentic Christian faith and morals.

Seminarians and priests opposed to the dissent learned early on to accommodate themselves to the situation and to avoid “rocking the boat.”  During the years of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, there was a “Cold War” or “Frozen Conflict” in which contradictory versions of the Gospel existed side-by-side within the Church.

The ability to “manage” that dichotomy (i.e., “to keep the peace”) was generally considered crucial in candidates for senior leadership in the Church.  This approach was already well-entrenched in the offices of the Vatican where la bella figura (keeping up appearances) has reigned longer than any pope.  As with the abuse crisis, a primary concern has been to avoid open controversy.

Along the way, the dissent succeeded in promoting a false, individualistic theory of conscience, which made morality and – by extension – the reception of Holy Communion matters of subjective opinion and discernment rather than of communal formation and discipline in the life of Christ.  Consequently, episcopal oversight of Christian life has effectively vanished.

With Catholic clergy declaring immoral activities to be moral or, at least, to be matters of subjective conscience, it is no surprise that the faithful feel free to act contrary to human dignity and the Gospel.  Dissident theologians have continued to promote false teachings.  Many Catholic hospitals permit contraception or sterilization. Fr. Robert Drinan, S.J., a Congressman in the 1970s, remained a priest even though he supported federal funding of abortion.

Why, then, should septua- and octogenarians today, like President Biden and Speaker of the House Pelosi, think there is an incompatibility between their voting record and the reception of Holy Communion?  Why should any Catholic believe that Eucharistic coherence requires conformity to the life of Christ in accordance with the Gospel authentically proclaimed by the Church?

In this context, episcopal statements about the Eucharist won’t change many hearts and minds.  Malformed Catholics, including clergy, will continue to act on the false notion of conscience they were taught.  This outcome is all the more likely given that the bishops will studiously avoid correcting the false notion of conscience because, otherwise, they would have to correct fellow bishops who hold the dissenting view.

It’s unrealistic to expect priests and laypeople to change beliefs or practices when bishops aren’t called to change. Bishops hoping to proclaim the Gospel authentically and effectively in their own dioceses or nations will have to address openly the scandal their brothers are causing – as Paul did regarding Peter.

The refusal to name the root problem lies at the heart of the crisis.  We lack Pastoral Coherence because our pastors do not have a common, coherent understanding of the Gospel.  It’s impossible for them to evaluate situations together and arrive at a joint approach because they are heading in contradictory directions.  Thus, they settle for documents carefully written to avoid exposing the truth of their sometimes fundamental disagreements on matters of faith and morals.

This fits a pattern in which statements from the hierarchy at all levels increasingly adopt a “live and let live” approach that either carefully limits their claims to their own territory or are open to multiple, indeed, incompatible interpretations. Cloaking the underlying incoherence by manipulatively appealing in the documents to “conscience” or “diversity” is like a family invoking “compassion” or “love” to hide “daddy’s little problem” of abuse.

Pastoral Incoherence is an existential threat, not to the Catholic Church, which will survive somehow and somewhere until Jesus returns, but to every particular Catholic, parish, and diocese in the world.  As we have repeatedly seen, it won’t spare even the hallowed halls of the Vatican (although the Successors of Peter, worthy and unworthy, continue).

If the Church in America is to enjoy Eucharistic Coherence and to flourish, we must return, under the authentic guidance of the bishops, to “the teachings of the Apostles and the common life.”  The reason is simple: without the Apostolic Gospel, we have no communion in the life of Christ and his Church.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS, EMS AND THE DEATH JAB

In this short podcast, Patrick Coffin describes how the Catholic diocese of Orange, California issued an invitation to a Zoom meeting with an auxiliary bishop and the Superintendent of Catholic schools and two physicians including the President of the Orange Co. Chapter of the American Association of Pediatrics.  This was a Zoom meeting originally meant for Catholic parents of Catholic kids (going to Catholic schools) to “ask questions” about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine for their kids.

But this Q &A session for Catholic leaders and Catholic parents didn’t happen.  What did happen on that Zoom meeting, as Mr. Coffin relates, was “a non-stop aggressive sales-tactic with one goal in mind:  To break the resistance of thinking Catholic parents to the most rushed vaccine in history not approved by the FDA to a population that’s virtually untouched by COVID-19—and that is people under the age of 30.”

The day after I listened to the above podcast, an active paramedic in Colorado (working for a different EMS than the above pic where I worked as a paramedic) texted me and another buddy on the thread:

“There is a call ongoing at the moment with two kids ages 12 (and I don’t know the other’s age) in active seizure after receiving the Covid shot. One stopped breathing for a bit and was resuscitated and is now breathing again.” 1

We should not be surprised at more morbidity and morality from this mRNA genome-scrambler considering even the UK now reports the new “variant” of COVID” comes with a 600% higher fatality rate for the vaccinated than the unvaccinated.  The UK also reported the vaccine is “not recommended during pregnancy.”

But the California bishop and the Orange County Catholic school superintendent both want your kids to take the death-jab.  We must ask:  Why is it that bishops’ scandals these days always endanger the souls and bodies of children?  Because that’s how the enemy of human nature rolls with modernists who have no fear of God and no knowledge of medicine.

Finally, it’s worth relating the following account:  Last week, an older friend of mine here in Colorado tested positive for COVID and had all the classic symptoms of COVID before her diagnosis.  I brought her 90 tablets of my own Ivermectin.  Her symptoms dissipated quickly after taking the first few weight-dependent doses.  Note that the featured image at the top of my blog here reveals my growing “stash” of Ivermectin on a repeat prescription I obtained.  It truly is a life-saver for the very small slice of the general population whose lives are endangered by COVID.

The leftist Democrat Oakland California city council joined other crime-infested Demo urban centers across the nation this week by defunding $18 million from its police budget. Violent crime in Oakland is up significantly from this time last year when so-called “Black Lives Matter” celebrations were heating up — including homicide rates, which have doubled.
What could go wrong? Well, shortly after Oakland’s PD Chief LeRonne Armstrong ripped the council for the cuts, the media crew interviewing Oakland’s Department of Violence Prevention, Guillermo Cespedes, at city hall, was robbed at gunpoint.
But according to Democrats, the “defund police” movement is the Republicans’ fault — Thomas Gallatin highlighted that pivot Monday, starting with Joe Biden’s spokesperson, Jen “Circle Back” Psaki. The Demos’ Leftmedia propagandists then parroted that lie.
Responding to that colossal canard, House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) made things clear: “Everybody knows it was Democrats who started this crazy, radical, extremist move to defund police. All the big city mayors that defunded their police, whether it’s New York, Los Angeles, Chicago — they’re all Democrats. … Speaker Pelosi just recently called police ‘stormtroopers.’ … You had one of her top lieutenants in Congress [say] police are inherently racist and need to be abolished. Now they’re seeing the dumpster fire they created. … They never admit they were wrong. They’re just going to try to blame somebody else.”
Senator Ted Cruz added, “Democrats now claiming it’s Republicans who want to defund the police is like an arsonist showing up at a fire and blaming the firemen, it’s like the Chinese blaming Americans for the Wuhan virus, and it’s like O.J. saying he’s going to help find the real killer.”
Fact is, Democrats in the House and Senate were the beneficiaries of the pandering congressional protagonists and Demo mayors nationwide, who led the defund-police chorus.
Of course, the congressional defund mantra was led by de facto House leaders Sandy Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and Cori Bush (collectively known as “The Squad,” who started their anti-police crusade during last year’s summer of rage.
The loudest of those mouths, and it is quite a competition, is Cortez. What did Cortez say about defunding police? “Defunding police means defunding police. It does not mean budget tricks or funny math. It does not mean moving school police officers from the NYPD budget to the Department of Education’s budget so the exact same police remain in schools.”
Now she hysterically claims that concern about escalating crime is driven by “hysteria” over media reports. She insists, “I want to make sure that this hysteria, you know, that this doesn’t drive a hysteria and that we look at these numbers in context so that we can make responsible decisions about what to allocate in that context.” She doubled down on her insistence that the hysteria must not distract from the efforts to defund the police.
Second up in the loud-mouth category is Islamist Ilhan Omar, the Jew-hater. She declared: “What we are saying is the current infrastructure that exists as policing … should not exist anymore, and we can’t go about creating a different process with the same infrastructure in place. … Not only do we need to defund, but we need to dismantle and start anew.”
Third in the lineup is Rashida Tlaib, who said, “Policing in our country is inherently and intentionally racist. … No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.”
Ayanna Pressley insisted she is “ready to continue the systemic work necessary to radically reimagine a system of public safety in our country that finally censures the dignity and humanity of all.” She declared, “Yes I support the defund movement.”
And last, Cori Bush says, “Defunding the police isn’t radical, it’s real. … I am for defunding the police.”
Notably, each of these Demo reps has paid thousands for their own personal security, compliments of taxpayers.Cortez shelled out $5,000 per month.
There was no collective condemnation of their defund-police advocacy by their Democrat congressional leaders, or objections to all the Demo mayor defund initiatives. Their silence was deafening.
Of course, other key Demos signed on to the defund movement but stayed in the shadows. Joe Biden affirmed “reallocation” of policing resources. Kamala Harris also expressed her support for reallocating police funding, saying, “We have to reimagine public safety.” Their urban center mayors defunded tens of millions from police budgets.
In his national address on crime last week, Biden attempted to lie his way out of Demo responsibility for the violence and carnage. But all the evidence leads right back to his socialist Democrat Party. Clearly, Demos are attempting to tone down their defund rhetoric while keeping that agenda on track.
As former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy notes, “Even energetic media revisionism will not be able to help Democrats in the short run. They are stuck with their “defund the police” rhetoric, and they will be hurt by it…“ But he cautions: “Over the long haul, though, the battle is not going to be about defunding the police but defining the police. Republicans should be against funding the progressive vision of law enforcement, which would give the country what it has given Democrat-run cities: non-enforcement and rising crime.”
The fact that anyone is actually questioning who advocated for defunding police departments and, consequently, who is responsible for the surge in violence is asinine.
As for Biden’s latest excuse for a “crime bill,” it’s worth noting that the last major Democrat crime bill was the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, and soon thereafter Democrats lost majority control of the House for the first time in 40 years. The author of that bill: Joe Biden.

Here are the last two of five observations about our current woke racial mania.
4. What were race relations like before the death of George Floyd? Did stats show that of the millions arrested each year by police, unarmed blacks were disproportionally lethally shot? Does a systemically racist country in the last twelve years elect both a black president and a black vice president? Does a racist nation canonize affirmative action for 55 years that provides reparatory preferences to those who are nonwhite as a means to ensure equality of opportunity in reaction to the past racism of those mostly now dead? 
Does a contemporary racist country strive to achieve minority unemployment in 2019 of 2.5 percent for Asian-Americans, 3.9 percent for Latinos, and 5.5 percent for African-Americans? In a systemically racist country, why do so many ethnic groups out earn the per capita household income of the purported oppressive majority of whites, in some cases by $20,000 per year? Why in popular culture are media racial imposters, such as a Ward Churchill, an Elizabeth Warren, a Rachel Dolezal, or a Shaun King mostly whites faking minority identities when it is said to be a purported disadvantage? 
Would not instead the media more likely be exposing the non-white posing as whites in search of tapping into systemic privilege of the unearned kind? Are whites stalking Jews and Asians to inflict hate-crime violence upon them? In a systematically white racist society, why would college attendance in terms of percentage of particular races be nearly homogenized (42 percent of whites attended college; 36 percent of blacks; 39 percent of Latinos;58 percent of Asians), with Asians, for example, far exceeding white college participation?
5. Where does the new woke racism ultimately lead? To cities without policing and open season on the weak, young, old, and vulnerable? Will it be considered racist or non-racist for white cops to avoid going into the inner-city’s danger zones? Will we soon see tit-for-tat hate crimes, as we all descend into the former Yugoslavia, with our bankrupt intellectuals contextualizing cause and effect? Will we wear our DNA badges along with vaccination stamps that certify our racial fides and earn us proportional entitlement consideration? 
As we reach $30 trillion in debt, are we to forget about ruining our currency and destroying the idea of interest, as we obsess over race? A destructive inflation on the horizon, terrible drought in the West, buildings collapsing in Florida, gas approaching $5 a gallon in California, China gloating at our discord, a woke military damning working-class and rural whites, its traditional font of recruitment, a border that is nonexistent and immigration laws a joke—are all these crises to pale in comparison with race, with Megan Markle’s psychodramas, with another embarrassing 4-star general’s or admiral’s rant about his bemedaled commitment to “equity and inclusion,” with Michelle Obama’s latest racialist snark, with billionaire LeBron James’s most current incoherent tweet about the racist police? 
How long can a superpower keep flopping on the quay in racial angst, as its very fuel, food, currency, security, and health are in crisis—and ignored?

The Pontius Pilate “conservative” Supreme Court justices apparently broke their constitutional oaths to uphold the constitution as they did in the December Texas election case. Scholar William Briggs said the SCOTUS cowardly justices didn’t “have to deal with having all the evidence about the elections bruited from a non-ignorable source. How much better to pretend it [the Biden Unconstitutional Steal] never happened”: 

SCOTUS cucked. There is no other word for it. Their entire argument for rejecting the suit brought by Texas and joined by almost half the States was Nyah nyah nyah!

Think I’m joking? Here it the Order in its entirety:

I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.

No argument. Just “Nyah nyah nyah.” With the cringe word cognizable. Plus, Article III? The one that says “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort”? The one that applies to Biden selling the office of the Vice Presidency to the Chinese?

Nah, not that Article III.

Roberts aligned with Breyer, Gorsuch was lost after discovering the right for men to be women hidden in the interstices of the Constitution, Kavanaugh was still assembling his all-female staff, and you were warned about Barrett. The other non-entities voted exactly how they were either told or expected to. Only Alito and Thomas stayed strong. 

Don’t bother disagreeing. Everybody reading knows with moral certainty that if this was Pennsylvania suing Texas on behalf of Tony Bobulinksi—excuse me, Joe Biden—the vote would have been in favor of taking the case, probably unanimously. 

“Conservative” justices like Gorsuch and Roberts are more than willing to make law when it aligns with the interests of our ruling elite. But they quail when they have chances to strike return blows.

The left ignores the law and does what it wants. When the right follows their example, the left screams “You must follow the law!” And the right cowers and mews and surrenders. The right uses the term, but never understood the war part of Culture War.

One of the rumors before yesterday’s order was that so many states joined with Texas, so that when SCOTUS finally ruled against Texas, the right would be left with no weapons. The media would say “IT’S OVER.” Well, they’re still saying that. But now the court is doesn’t have to deal with having all the evidence about the elections bruited from a non-ignorable source. Last year, the Catholic Monitor in the post “NO MORE Gorsuchs!: Ginsburg/Gorsuch Court Ruling will lead to the Legalization of ‘Child Pedophil[a]’!”reported:

An internationally known attorney, with knowledge of “the DC elite,” told the Catholic Monitor by email that the Ruth Bader Ginsburg/Neil Gorsuch Supreme Court ruling for transgenderism and homosexuality, Bostock v. Clayton County, will lead to the legalization  of “child pedophil[a]”:

“Child pedophiles will be the next protected SCOTUS class. Trump made a big mistake relying on the DC elite at the “conservative” Federalist Society to screen his SCOTUS candidates”

President Donald Trump and the Republican Party need to take notice that he and his party will own this disastrous ruling and its consequences including, “Child pedophiles [being]…  the next protected SCOTUS class”:   

“According to Politico, ‘the Republican Party seemed generally supportive of both the substance and process by which the Supreme Court extended Civil Rights Act protections to gay, lesbian and transgender workers. If President Trump waffles on this next Supreme Court nominee selection it could destroy him with his conservative Christian base.

The anonymous source said we must vehemently protest:

“‘We must cry bloody murder to Trump’ and let him know he will lose our support and re-election unless he goes against this disastrous ruling and clearly states he will never put in another judge such as neo-liberal Justice Neil Gorsuch into the Supreme Court.”

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He want you to do now and next. Once again the intrepid Cionci, who reads German, has dug up in the official Biography-Interview of Pope Benedict XVI another pearl to shed light on what he is up to. For all those who demand that Benedict speak and explain himself, he has done so dozens of times. It is just that those who are possessed by the devil, globalism, freemasonry and personal careerist pride, cannot see it.

But for those who still admit truth exists and that words have meaning, Cionci focuses in on this passage from the book, “The Last Conversations” by Peter Seewald.  Pay close attention to the words.

Seewald: “Originally you wanted to resign as early as December, but then you decided on February 11, Carnival Monday, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Does this have a symbolic meaning?”

Benedict XVI: “That it was Carnival Monday I was not aware of. In Germany it also caused me some problems. It was the day of Our Lady of Lourdes. The feast day of Bernadette of Lourdes, in turn, coincides with my birthday. That’s why it seemed right to me to choose that day”.

Seewald: “The date therefore HAS…. “

Benedict XVI: “…an inner connection, yes.”

I will add my own comment:  Since February 11th commemorates the first apparition of Our Lady at Lourdes, where she revealed her celestial name, saying, “I am the immaculate conception”, a name which is utterly singular in all of humanity, so Pope Benedict XVI on Feb. 11, 2013, did something entirely singular in the history of the Papacy, so that just as Satan was crushed by Our Lady’s purity and virginity, so the breed of Satan, who have infiltrated into the College of Cardinals and College of Bishops and clergy world wide, might be crushed by his trick of renouncing ministry but not munus, remaining the Pope and letting the wicked fool themselves.

For those who have already succumbed to the Marxist Critique, Catholics cannot trick the wicked, because that is “unjust” and “dishonest”. Only the wicked have the right to lie to Catholics, Catholics have the duty to be 100% sincere and tell the truth always to the wicked, as good little submissive servants.

For those who are careerists in the Church, but care nothing for God, a Pope cannot trick the clergy, because it is his duty always to reward and honor them and never correct them unless they happen to all agree to cast one or two out from their number, like Don Minutella or all those other honest priests after Vatican II who said that the Aggiornamento was wrong or of the devil.

But for Catholics, we confess that when an entire class is so morally corrupt that they need to be cut off from the living body of the Church, and are willing to cut themselves off from it, by pursuing with abandon the grab for power which accompanies a papal resignation, even if the resignation is not an abdication as the law requires, it is perfectly legitimate for the Vicar of Jesus Christ to be so discrete as to allow the fools, idiots and wicked run down the wrong path, to their own destruction.

If you have not yet noticed, we are living in the end times. The Mass was suspended at Easter and in many parts of the world even for an entire year. There are now orders to commit daily sacrilege and blasphemy in Church during the Mass. The clergy are 99% on board with this new religion of Satanic affrontery to the Living God.

And yet some devlishly proud and obstinate souls still insist that Christ’s Vicar be 100% sincere with those who are 100% insincere, and 100% straight-forward with those who are 100% crooked.

Pope Benedict XVI pulled the greatest joke on the Devil in the history of the Church after Pentecost. And now we Catholic have the right to laugh with him at his breed’s downfall.

      I think something must be made clear and that people had better be careful about how they judge others! Archbishop Vigano told Vaticanist Aldo Maria Valli that “the…… network of complicity, silence, cover and mutual favors is extended beyond all words, and involves all the leaders, both in America and in Rome”. And when Mr. Valli asked “Why” the Archbishop replied: “Because those cracks mentioned by Paul VI, from which Satan’s smoke would have slipped into the house of God, have become chasms. The devil is working great. And not to admit it, or turn your face to the other side, it would be our greatest sin.”
      Not let’s get this straight! Benedict, as I have shown in my “Thesis” maintained the Papacy, and this is proved through an analysis of the Official Latin Text of his Renunciation–which has never been refuted! He did not resign the Petrine Office as the enemies wanted him to do and hence what he did was an act of valor and courage, as well as trust in the protection of Our Lady. This act on the part of Benedict was contemplated, and most likely on account of his knowledge of the Third Secret as well as his knowledge as Prefect of the CDF and as active Pope.
      But as Archbishop Vigano states clearly, what began as “cracks” turned into “chasms” and then says that “not to admit it, or turn your face to the other side, it would be our GREATEST SIN.” Why would it be “our greatest sin”?
      The answer which cannot be denied IS because, as Benedict told those present at his last Wednesday audience on 2 February 27, he resigned the “EXERCISE” of the Office of Governing and of Teaching FOR A GREATER GOOD.
      AND THAT GREATER WAS FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF THE CHURCH! BY WHAT HE DID, HE IN FACT KEPT THE PETRINE OFFICE OUT OF THE CONTROL OF THOSE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF SATAN AND THUS PRESERVED CHRIST’S PROMISE TO PETER AT CAESAREAE PHILIPPI THAT “THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT [THE CHURCH]” FROM BEING A LIE AND THUS PROVING THE INDEFECTIBILITY OF THE CHURCH.

      So it is time we put our own personal goods, personal preferences, personal opinions, personal pride to rest and look at the COMMON GOOD OF THE CHURCH! And that is why Archbishop Vigano did what he did, he put his personal safety aside for the Common Good of the Church when he says “It would be our greatest sin” not to admit the attack of Satan on the Church!!! And he had flee his home on account of what he did! This is THE SAME SACRIFICE Benedict made and IT IS HIGH TIME that the Faithful admit that they have an obligation in truth and justice to recognize this and quit judging according to PERSONAL GOODS–which by the way in nothing other than JPII’s Personalism and Phenomenology!!!!! Please God, whatever the full story is, let it be pleasing to Almighty God and get the nod of approval from the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pope Benedict has always been in my mind, I regularly look at the many holy Nativity pictures I received from him over the years. They reside in my old Latin / English Missal. I could not reconcile myself to ‘Francis’. I just look on him as a millstone pulling down the Chair of Peter.

What exactly is happening during mass that you are referring to when you stated, “There are now orders to commit daily sacrilege and blasphemy in the Church during the Mass.” This statement actually frightens me. I want to be able to recognize it when it happens so I don’t participate or return to that parish. Where in the United States can one go to Mass where this sacrilege and blasphemy does not occur? Do I need to attend the Tridentine Latin Mass?

Has the Military Lost Middle America? 

The military is not yet a revolutionary people’s army overseen by commissars. But it is getting there.

Traditionalist and conservative America once was the U.S. military’s greatest defender.
Bipartisan conservatives in Congress ensured generous Pentagon budgets. When generals, active or retired, became controversial, conservative America usually could be counted on to stick with them.
Flyover country supported marquee officers such as Gen. Michael Hayden, Gen. James Mattis, Gen. Barry McCaffrey, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Gen. David Petraeus, and a host of others when the media went after them for alleged unethical conduct, financial improprieties, spats with the Obama administration, or accusations of using undue force or hiding torture.
When Democrats railed in Congress about the “revolving door” of generals and admirals leaving the Pentagon to land lucrative board memberships with corporate defense contractors, Middle America, rightly or wrongly, mostly yawned.
Yet traditional America also assumed its military leaders were largely apolitical and stayed out of politics. Brilliant World War II commanders Curtis LeMay, Douglas MacArthur, and George S. Patton did not fare well when they clumsily waded through the minefields of partisan national politics.
No longer.
The Pentagon’s current and past top echelon is seen as politically weaponized — and both careerist and opportunist. Generals and admirals are currently scanning enlistments for mythical white supremacists, in fear of left-wing pressure following the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. These military officials apparently have no commensurate concern about whether there are antifa-affiliated service members with records of past violence.
We are learning that much of what was reported about that unfortunate Capitol riot was untrue. There were no “armed”insurrectionists with guns, led by conspiracist kingpins. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick was not “murdered.” Medical examiner Francisco J. Diaz said the autopsy showed no evidence of internal or external injuries. The only violent death was that of an unarmed female military veteran who was shot by a mysteriously unnamed law enforcement officer while climbing through a window.
The tenure of highly decorated Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has proved a veritable train wreck of late. Under pressure from the left, last summer he renounced a photo appearance with then-President Donald Trump as unduly politicizing his service.
OK, but every recent chairman of the Joint Chiefs has routinely appeared with the president in photo ops, if sometimes reluctantly.
Milley was timidly reacting to media claims that Trump sicced federal law enforcement on disruptive protesters with tear gas to ensure calm for his photo op. The inspector general of the Department of the Interior recently exposed such reporting as a fable.
Equally untrue were complaints from Milley and a host of retired officers about Trump tyrannically using federal troops to maintain civic order. Such action has happened repeatedly in our history. For example, Gen. Colin Powell, former head of the Joints Chiefs, commanded the troops sent into Los Angeles in 1992 to quell the rioting that followed the acquittal of L.A. police officers charged in the beating of Rodney King.
Neither Milley nor any of the previously vocal top brass objected to the Biden administration’s militarization of Washington, D.C., after Jan. 6. There was not a word about miles of barbed wire and fencing. There was utter silence about the omnipresence of thousands of armed troops throughout the city. Such mobilization was the very scenario they had said would pose an existential threat to democracy.
Gen. Milley was incoherent and paradoxical when pressed about critical race theory — the belief that racial bias has been encoded in society — during congressional testimony last week. He bragged that he had read insurrectionary texts by Karl Marx and Mao Zedong to acquaint his open mind with supposed enemies — as if his inquisitive approach to those subversive authors was analogous to the teaching of critical race theory in the military.
Our top officers reveal inconsistent views on recommended readings, ideological indoctrination, and the use of federal troops during domestic crises. They are selective and partisan in their shrill criticism of particular presidents. Some blast political opponents with inflammatory comparisons to Nazis and fascists.
The military’s alienation of Middle America could not happen at a worse time. China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea watch in glee at our self-created discord, which threatens to tear apart the most lethal military in the world.
The military is not yet a revolutionary people’s army overseen by commissars. But it is getting there with politicized agendas that split the country in half and abandon the military’s traditional role of unifying in common purpose to defend America.
