Flashback: Is “Skojec… a kind of Double Agent and 1P5 a False-Opposition Operation” who keeps Catholics “Confused… rather than United in any Useful Purpose”?

Double Agent Celery - South Australia Public Library Services - OverDrive

– Vatican I expert Fr. Chad Ripperger, PhD, in his book “Magister Authority” shows that almost all Francis apologists be they liberal, conservative or traditionalist are “proximate to heresy”:
“[T]reating ALL papal statements as if they are infallible… is proximate to heresy because it rejects the precise formulation of the conditions of infallibility as laid out in Vatican I… by essentially saying the pope is infallible regardless of conditions…”
“… Worse still, those who were to follow a pope who was in error in a non-infallible teaching which is taught contrary to something that is infallible is not, therefore, excused.”
(Magisterial Authority, Pages 5-14)
At times, I have found that the comments in the Catholic Monitor comment section are better than my post. This was true of the last post in which Jack wrote a deeply insightful comment that mirrored Fr. Rippinger’s above explanation of Vatican I and Pope Innocent III’s “in the matter of the faith I [and all popes and antipopes] could be judged by the Church” and he covered many other matters.

However, prior to getting to it, I want to thank all the loyal Catholic Monitor readers and commenters for their prayers especially Praypraypray and Therese who are prayer warriors and the vast majority of CM commenters for their wisdom.

Also, I want to say, unlike Jack, I am not inclined to think that One Peter Five publisher Steve Skojec is a “double agent,” but it appears to me that he does keep Catholics “confused… a whining bunch of scandalmong[ers] rather than united in any useful purpose.”

Here is the great comment by Jack:

“People who imagine that Vatican I’s definition of papal infallibility is circular, tautological, or otherwise redundant imagine that the dogma goes like this: “Solemn papal definitions are infallible, because the pope has the power of infallibility.” Which is like saying, ‘it’s right because the pope says it’s right.'”

“This would be to set up the pope as a kind of god, since only God is truly self-justifying like this, right simply because He is right, because He is Truth itself by His very essence.”

“I think in the wake of liberalism and its undermining of all authority, Catholics rallied to the pope and after Vatican I made this kind of mistake, at least implicitly, that the pope is right because he is right. But this is just another human error, setting up a man in God’s place, undermining authority in an even more subtle way.”

“The pope is not right because he says he’s right, and he’s not infallible simply because he has the power of infallibility (although he is and he does). Vatican I is very clear. The pope is infallible BECAUSE Christ gave the keys to Peter and his Successors, and HE guaranteed by HIS divine power that the pope would never err in his solemn teaching capacity. This is perhaps a subtle distinction, but it makes a profound difference. It means that our faith is not centred on the person of the pope, but centred on Christ just has it has always been.”

“So when we come across a pope who appears to be erring in doctrine, the first thing we should ask is whether he is really erring or not. And if he is erring, the next thing to ask is whether his papacy is legitimate or whether he’s an antipope. But for people with a worldly mindset who are too willing to accept the world’s opinions and maintain their public image, and who’s faith is more centred on the person of the pope than on the person of Christ, they would rather deny Vatican I and become heretics than accuse a possible antipope (despite there having been many, many antipopes in history) and fall temporarily out of favour.”

To be honest at this point I would not be surprised if Skojec is a kind of double agent and 1p5 a false-opposition operation designed to keep potential critics of the regime confused and pigeonholed. Keep traditionalists as a whining bunch of scandalmongerers rather than united in any useful purpose.”

Lastly, here is my simple post that hopefully helped inspire Jack in his exceptional comment:

It appears that One Peter Five publisher Steve Skojec’s infallible opinion that the Francis papacy cannot be invalid under any circumstances is leading him towards heresy.

Yesterday on Twitter, Skojec said to @JoshuaPotryus and @MikeJon:

“The problem is that infallibility appears to be tautological at best and borders on superstition at worst.”

A example of a tautology is former Vice President Dan Quayle’s:

“If we do not succeed, we run the risk of failure.”

A possible Skojec tautology might go:

“If Francis is not a valid pope, we run the risk of Francis being a antipope” which may lead to this possible Skojec tautology:

“I believe Vatican I’s papal infallibly teaching “appears… [to border] on superstition,” so I accept as true that that infallible dogma “appears… [to border]” on being a unfounded belief.”

It appears that Skojec’s logic goes something like the following:

“Francis’s papal validity is a 100% infallible belief and if anyone doubts it they are a schismatic therefore Vatican I’s infallible teaching on papal infallibly “appears to be a tautological at best and borders on superstition at worst.”

Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church.

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He want you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.

Francis Notes:

– Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:

“[T]he Pope… WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.”
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

Saint Robert Bellarmine, also, said “the Pope heretic is not deposed ipso facto, but must be declared deposed by the Church.”

Is Creepy Biden China’s Puppet?

https://www.churchmilitant.com/images/social_images/2020-05-11-joe_and_mccarrick.jpg

Is Joe Biden China’s Puppet?

Today, the Market Ticker revealed:

Inviting attacks on the United States by a President is grounds for immediate removal from office and perhaps even charges of actual Treason.

President Biden’s list of 16 key infrastructure entities that are “off-limits” to Russian cyberattacks has effectively given the Russians a green light to target everything not on that list without facing serious repercussions, national security experts and senior Republicans tell Fox News.

Yep.

We define 16 specific entities that are “off limits”?  Since when is the rest of the United States explicitly defined as open to attack whether by physical or electronic means?

Never mind the identification of 16 critical items should, for example, China wish to take a crack at critically disrupting the United States![… ]

Do I believe the incessant Russia-Russia-Russia nonsense?  Nope.  Why not?  Because Putin has little or no reason to do it, that’s why.  Now Xi, on the other hand, has plenty of reason to do it and probably has and is.  I would not doubt for one second that China is responsible for all of this.  Never mind that it wouldn’t surprise me if China had hacked into Russian internet infrastructure and was using it as a foil.

I’ve been monitoring the source of these sorts of incidents for roughly two decades now and while the concentration indeed used to come from Russia, specifically some of the Russian satellite “nations” and regions, over the last decade or so nearly all of it sources out of China, with most of that coming from places that are directly linked to the PLA in one form or another, such as their “university” systems.

Is this is a US President speaking or someone either through intentional act or mental incompetence undermining the United States for the direct benefit of those — specifically China. [https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?singlepost=3666033]

Is Joe Biden China’s Puppet?

As the Epoch Times said “Electing Biden Would Cede the World [and the United States] to China“:

It might seem overheated to say electing Joe Biden would turn the world over to communist China, but is it?

We already know that as recently as a year ago, the former vice president dismissed any Chinese threat, informing an Iowa gathering, “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man.”

Since then, via the CCP virus, not only has China eaten our lunch, they have eaten our dinner and breakfast as well, sent thousands of our citizens across the River Styx, and left our once-stellar national economy in tatters, with millions unemployed.

Our children might not even be going to school next year.

“They can’t even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the east, I mean the west,” Biden bumbled on at the same event.

“They can’t figure out how they’re going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system.”
But Biden had. He realized an elementary truth about communism as practiced in China, Russia, or wherever it takes power—it exists on corruption. Corruption was and is one of the motors of communist—indeed all totalitarian—societies, second only to nepotism.

Biden already knew this (who wouldn’t?) in 2014, when he flew to Beijing on Air Force Two accompanied by his crack-loving, womanizing son Hunter, of Burisma fame. We don’t know much of what happened between China and the United States on that trip, but Hunter returned with a $1.5 billion investment for BHR Equity Investment Fund Management.

That company was founded only a year earlier, and Hunter was listed on the website as a director, next to his photograph. The latter was, not surprisingly, almost immediately removed because of what we call these days poor “optics.”

It was a similar impulse that led Biden to reverse, at least on the surface, the view of China he proclaimed in Iowa a year ago—optics again.

And speaking of, yet again, optics, he definitely had to pull back on calling Trump a “racist” and a “xenophobe” for shutting down flights to the United States from China…

…  It’s not hard to imagine what would transpire if Biden were elected, even if there’s nothing on that hard drive or it’s been erased (neither are likely). Biden’s the guy who wanted to go along with the communist Chinese in the first place.

“China’s going to eat our lunch? Come on, man.”

Let’s do business with them again. Forget about that “decoupling” stuff. Their penicillin’s just as good as ours, better maybe, and cheaper. Why should our great thinkers waste their time manufacturing computer chips 24/7? They should be creating. Who cares if the Chinese rip off an idea or two? There are more to come.

And soon enough, we’re back where we were. Actually further along. We’re manufacturing for them, doing their bidding, just like the rest of the world.

One of Japan’s leaders put it this way during Japan’s heyday: “America will be our farm, and Europe our boutique.”

That didn’t last long. But with China, with Biden’s acquiescence, it would. It would go further.
Communism’s not so bad, is it? Maybe we should try it ourselves, just the best parts, you understand. Nothing violent. None of that Tiananmen stuff.

But that “social credit” system seems to work. The people like it. It’s kind of a game.
Well, not fun for everybody, but you know what I mean.

The truth is, if we elect Biden, China will deserve to take over. We will have been that stupid.

Moreover, are Theodore McCarrick, Francis and Creepy Biden together in apparently being China’s puppets going to make the world a sex trafficking planet modeled on their beloved Communist China now that Donald Trump can’t fight against sex trafficking and the Communist regime?

The Epoch Times reported that “Jaco Booyens, the founder of SHAREtogether, said former President Donald Trump’s efforts to create an office dedicated to fighting sex trafficking made an “incredible impact” over the last four years”:

Booyens said that before Trump “we’ve never had an office in the White House designated and dedicated to fighting sex trafficking. No former president in the history of this country has used his or her platform to denounce the exploitation of children and then appropriate funding. So we’ve seen an incredible impact over the years, over the last four years, particularly towards the support for law enforcement.”

Regular police officers, he said, are not trained to investigate, profile, or conduct a sting operation. It requires special training and a lot of resources and effort.

“We’ve seen a tremendous rise in the apprehension, the arrest of perpetrators and rescue of victims under the Trump administration, no question about it,” Booyens said. “In these cases that you’re seeing now such as California, and you’ll see some others coming out now, they’ve been 9, 10 months in the making under the Trump administration—in that mechanism of funding law enforcement appropriately, having special task forces.” [https://www.theepochtimes.com/trumps-efforts-to-fight-sex-trafficking-made-incredible-impact-sharetogether-founder_3686901.html?utm_source=morningbrief&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=mb-2021-02-07]

Is there evidence that Francis with the help of sexual predator ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick betrayed the Chinese underground Church to one of the top sex trafficking centers in the world?

Is there evidence that Biden will “cede the world [and the United States] to China” one of the top sex trafficking centers in the planet?

Francis authorized Cardinal Pietro Parolin and Theodore McCarrick to bring about an agreement to give control of the Chinese underground Church to the totalitarian Communist regime.

Francis and Parolin according to Archbishop Carlo Vigano’s testimony were among the prelates who covered-up for sexual predator McCarrick and gave him influence:

McCarrick “made no fewer than eight trips to China in recent years, the last few at the specific request of Pope Francis in pursuit of an agreement” accordingly to China expert Steven Mosher.
(LifeSiteNews, “Top Vatican cardinal rebukes critics of China deal: “No need to be drastic,” September 21, 2018)

The betrayal of the Chinese underground Church can thus be called the Francis/McCarrick deal.

The Francis/McCarrick Chinese betrayal apparently has a child sex-trafficking connection not just because of McCarrick’s alleged abuse of minors, but because China is a center of child sex-trafficking.

OnePeterFive reported on October 18:

“The Associated Press (AP) is reporting that the U.S. Justice Department has initiated an investigation into the sex abuse crisis in the Catholic Church.”

“… Former cardinal Theodore McCarrick’s personal involvement in the establishment and financial management of the organization known as the Papal Foundation has come under scrutiny since accusations came to light earlier this summer concerning his alleged abuse of minors – especially in light of his extensive travels to countries in Asia [eight times to China, “the last few” at Francis’s “specific request”], where child sex-trafficking is common.”
[U.S. Justice Department Opens Investigation Into Pennsylvania Clerical Abuse By Bree A. Dail on Oct 18, 2018 05:06 pm]

The New York Times on June 27, 2017 reported:

China is among the world’s worst offenders for allowing modern slavery to thrive within its borders, according to a strongly worded State Department report released Tuesday.”

‘… The report found that prosecutions for various forms of human trafficking — which include sex trafficking, including of children.”

The Charlotte Lozier Institute reported on July 2, 2013:

“… China was proven to be a country particularly entrenched in human trafficking and the problem has affected both its own people and those of other nations.  According to the 2013 TIP report, China is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking.  The report states, “Women and children from neighboring Asian countries, including Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Mongolia, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), as well as from Russia, Europe, Africa, and the America’s, are reportedly trafficked to commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor.” [https://lozierinstitute.org/human-trafficking-report-shows-one-child-policy-a-lead-cause-of-trafficking-in-china/]

Deplorably, besides China being a place where a predator like McCarrick could perpetrate his perverted inclinations, the Francis/McCarrick deal allies the Vatican closely with a center of child sex-trafficking.

It doesn’t seem unreasonable that the U.S. Justice Department appears to be concern about Francis’s China deal collaborator McCarrick’s possible connections to China’s child sex-trafficking since according to the 2013 State Department report:

“Women and children from… the America’s [by implication that includes children from the United States], are reportedly trafficked to commercial sexual exploitation” in China.

If it is true that McCarrick was in anyway involved with sex trafficking, it won’t be the first time a close collaborator of Francis was associated, if only by cover-up, with trafficking.

The Pennsylvania Report said that the close associate of Francis Cardinal Donald Wuerl, who was praised for his “nobility” in handling sex abusing priests by the Pope, covered-up for a predator associated with sex trafficking.

Church Militant reported that the PA Grand Jury Report revealed Wuerl covered-up for predator Fr. George Zirwas:

“Zirwas had led a ‘flamboyant’ homosexual lifestyle in Havana, living with his younger Cuban boyfriend, even facilitating foreign sex trafficking, hooking up American tourists with male Cuban prostitutes.”
(Church Militant, “PA Grand Jury Report: CDL. Wuerl Protected Predator Priests,” August 14, 2018)

Even if McCarrick is found to not be associated with sex trafficking, unlike the “noble” Wuerl, it still is disgraceful that the Francis Vatican is closely allied with a center of child sex trafficking.

It is also a disgrace that China puppet Creepy Biden may betray the United States to a center of child sex trafficking as his follow China puppet McCarrick betrayed the underground Chinese Church.

DR. MASSIMO TESSAROTTO: POPE BENEDICT XVI’S “RESIGNATION” WAS A SACRED MISSION FROM GOD

EDITOR5 COMMENTS

By Dr. Massimo Tessarotto

Department of Mathematics and GeosciencesUniversity of Trieste

Authorized English Translation

For original Italian, click here

After the suggestion of theories one after another as the motive for his resignation (an example being the so-called “message in a bottle” (1)), in turn related to a host of more o less plausible hypotheses, can  a final word about the resignation of Benedict XVI be given? — In other words can one advance, finally, a reasonable and plausible explanation for such a mess of conjectures which also reconciles with the notion of “pope emeritus“? (and perhaps not to be dismissed the coming day by Benedict XVI himself!)

I believe that, thinking hard about all the circumstances and detailed accounts of the events which are related to his retirement (2), one should really be able to unveil Benedict’s root motivations and actual reasons. Namely, besides the quite peculiar, if not bizarre, way he conceived and realized it (i.e., with his famous Declaratio, ridden by apparent, but perhaps only apparent, grammatical mistakes), what is of foremost importance: namely to finally uncover his deep personal motivations, reasons, method and goals. This is what we all would like to learn and understand, irrespective of the role of the heretic black cardinal who without any legitimacy sits in Saint Peter’s chair.

I do believe that it is so!

We need [to ask] the help of the Holy Ghost to reach an answer: it is Benedict XVI who offered himself to Jesus Christ as a victim of the ChurchThis is what Jesus himself has asked us to do! (3). No marvel then that Benedict XVI, certainly well aware of the revelation, decided to take the lead himself, i.e., electing to be the Pope victim of his Church, and paving the way for all the faithful ones!

Isn’t it deeply moving? We have to thank Jesus, the Holy Ghost and the Virgin Mary for such a beautiful inspiration! This must be the reason of his apparent resignation! Merely apparent anyhow! Because, thanks to his foresight and especially due to the Divine Providence who inspired him, he has not renounced at all to his “Munus” but only to the “Ministerium“. The reason seems clear: only keeping the Munus, and hence remaining the Vicar of Jesus Christ, his sacrifice as victim, is really perfect. It is not a cunning move (I would not use the word), but a wise and carefully studied choice inspired by God himself (the Kyrios) also to comply with the profecies.

In fact, he knew perfectly that – according to Saint Malachy prophecy (4) – he would be the “Gloria Olivae“, namely the last pope to be regularly elected by the cardinals and who “In persecutione extrema S.R.E. [Sancta Romana Ecclesia] sedebit“, namely chaired the chair of Saint Peter in a status of extreme persecution! And he is undoubtedly the one!

Latin original of prophecy attributed to St. Malachy

And beware!, his sacrifice, consists in devoting himself to the continuous prayer as a pope! Indeed that’s what he himself declared he wished to devote himself as Pope “emeritus”! Again the continuous prayer is the preferred atonement asked specifically by Jesus Christ in person to all his most devoted ordered people (5), of which the Pope is of course the #1 candidate!

All of us, together with all the faithful ones, can join him in his prayer, while listening to the Holy Spirit! It is an inexpressible but very clear emotion! We have to thank Him immediately, together with Jesus Christ, God Father Omnipotent and the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Benedict XVI is fighting with the full strength of his prayer against the sins and the evil of the Church!

  1. Ana MilanThe question regarding all the notorious appointments made by both PJPII & PBXVI which have had a direct, catastrophic & demonic hit on the OHCA Church still need a transparent, convincing & acceptable explanation.REPLY
    1. Massimo TessarottoUnfortunately, it is notorious that PPBXVI, after his election in 2005, was actually never in full 100% capacity and control. The Free Masonry was probably already almost in control and the Sankt Gallen mafia was very effectively pushing hard.REPLY
      1. Islam_Is_IslamHave you heard of Fr Belland’s thesis regarding the possible motivation? Except for your reference to Maria Valtorta and some other variances, yours is quite similar.
  2. Massimo TessarottoThanks for pointing out the analogy. No, I was not aware of Fr. Belland article. Could you kindly send me a link or refence? It might be interesting for a detailed comparison.
    Best regards, MaxREPLY

Our Increasingly Unrecognizable Civilization
By: Mark SteynImprimisApril/May 2021 • Volume 50, Number 4/5(emphasis added)
I live about 20 minutes south of the Canadian border, which used to be called the longest undefended frontier in the world. People moved freely back and forth across it all day every day. But now it’s been closed for over a year. At one point my daughter asked me to drive her up there because there was a 30-minute opportunity for people on one side to talk to their friends on the other. “Sad!” as President Trump would say. It was like Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin during the Cold War, except that both sides are now like East Berlin.
I don’t know how this happened, but it is just one indication that America, and the West in general, have become almost unrecognizable from what they were not that long ago.
Look at just three things we have lost.
One is equality before the law, something absolutely essential to a free society. In its place, we now have politicized law. If a policeman fatally shoots someone, whether his name is released to the public depends on whether the shooting is consistent with the preferred narrative of the ruling class. A policeman recently took down a young woman who was threatening the life of another young woman with a knife, and that policeman was immediately identified—indeed, his photo was posted and he was threatened by NBA superstar LeBron James on Twitter. On the other hand, we know nothing of the policeman who shot dead an unarmed woman in the U.S. Capitol on January 6. His name will apparently never be released to the public.
Second, border control. Functioning societies, at least since the Peace of Westphalia three centuries ago, have borders. America has no southern border and no plans to get one. The official position of our government seems to be that any of the seven billion persons on this planet has a right to come and stay in the U.S. for three years until his or her assigned court date comes up. As the number of people with pending cases continues to grow, that three years will extend out to five or seven or 15 years. If we get all seven billion people to come here, the court system will break down entirely and maybe we can go back to having a functioning border.
And third, dare I bring up the fact that it is a real question whether we can go back to agreeing to have open and honest elections? And if we don’t have open and honest elections, control of our borders, and equality before the law, then we don’t have the conditions for politics or free government.
And here’s the thing. It is not at all clear to me that many of America’s conservative politicians understand the seriousness of all this. You can see it in the fact that they go around trying to scare people with the specter of a “radical socialist agenda.” For well over a year now, we have been living in a world in which it’s accepted as normal that the state has essentially unlimited power—and in which our freedom to decide for ourselves has been diminished almost to invisibility. Why do these conservative politicians think the words “radical socialist agenda” still scare anyone in a time when the state can tell us whether we can have Aunt Mabel over for Christmas? They are completely out of touch.
Over the same period as the pandemic lockdowns, we have seen an escalation of so-called wokeness. And if you look at one of the most startling manifestations of this, transgender fanaticism—which involves, after all, the abolition of biological sex and, I’m sorry to have to say it, the physical mutilation of children—one notices that America is farther down this road than any other country in the Western world.
In other words, at this moment of crisis for Western Civilization, or for what we used to call Christendom, the leading country of the free world is pulling the wrong way.
Think of it. Your daughter has been training since she was a little girl to run in school sports. Now at 17, she’s in the state high school track championships, and you are forbidden even to notice that she’s competing against a woman who is 6’2” with thighs like tugboats, a great touch of five o’clock shadow on her face, and the most muscular bosom you’ve ever seen. You’re not supposed to notice the craziness of this, and the craziness is at its craziest right here in America.
We traditionally think of France as being a bit screwy, but today there are French intellectuals who regard themselves as hardcore leftists and yet who think America has gone bonkers on this transgender issue. President Macron himself has said that American wokeness is an existential threat to the French Republic, and he even found bureaucrats in France’s education bureaucracy who agreed. There is not a single bureaucrat in the Department of Education in Washington, D.C., who would agree, but there are apparently a few in Paris.
If you look further east in Europe to the lands that were once behind the Iron Curtain—to Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic, which still function as conventional nation-states calculating their best interests—you find tremendous fear of the threat of wokeness that is being exported, sometimes aggressively, from America. So it is here in the U.S. where we have to put the stake through these ideas.
But again, even most of our conservative leaders and institutions seem oblivious. School districts in America are talking about revising their curricula to cover transgender issues from grade school on. Now, I went to an English boys’ school, and we were expected to pick up sexuality on our own time. In those days people would have looked puzzled if you had said, “We’re going to have to cancel geography or Latin, because we need to put gay studies in there.” These days, instead of going off behind the bike shed during recess to learn about sex, kids need to sneak behind the bike shed to do a little bit of closeted geography or closeted Latin. It’s completely backward. And yet what do we hear from most conservative politicians? That it would be nice to offer people a tax cut!
We are way beyond tax cuts. We’re broke. We’re just a smidgen away from $30 trillion in federal debt—something with no historical precedent. Talking about tax cuts today is like talking about VAT tax refunds on the Titanic. It’s not actually what’s necessary at the moment.
Another big issue that should take our minds off tax cuts is China. I can’t get over the way we in the U.S. have been ordered by our governors and the CDC to punish ourselves by living small, shrunken lives, while the people in China who loosed this pandemic on the world have paid no price for it.
Dr. Fauci has been a federal government bureaucrat since 1968. He’s the J. Edgar Hoover of public health. He talks about the COVID virus as if we’re at war. But he seems to think a country wins a war by taking it out on its own population rather than the enemy, which is what we’ve done.
Which do you think was the only major economy to grow in 2020? It’s not a hard question. America’s economy shrank 3.5 percent last year. The economies of Germany and Japan shrank almost five percent. France’s, Italy’s, and India’s economies all shrank over eight percent, and the economy of the United Kingdom was down ten percent.
China’s economy, on the other hand, grew 2.3 percent in 2020, and first-quarter growth for 2021 in China set a new world record—it was up over 18.3 percent. The COVID pandemic has been hugely profitable for China.
U.S. policy towards China since the 1990s represents perhaps the biggest strategic miscalculation by any great power in human history. Just as communism was wobbling and beginning to fall everywhere else, we helped Beijing come up with the first economically viable form of communism.
At first, we were told it was only our manufacturing that we would ship to China. After all, we were told, it wasn’t economically viable for Americans to make widgets. Remember the talk in the ’90s? We were going to be the “knowledge economy.” All the clever people told us this. We weren’t going to have mills and factories, but we were going to be the knowledge economy. Well, in case you haven’t noticed, China’s got the entire knowledge economy for itself now. It makes our laptops and our smartphones and it’s out front with Huawei and 5G. It also makes the batteries that power our gizmos and the chips that run our cars. When COVID struck, we found out fast that the Chinese not only make our viruses, they also make the personal protective equipment that protects us against the viruses—and all of our medicines to boot! Those wily Chinese get you both coming and going.
China is now the number one global power. You can define this militarily, where it now has the largest surface fleet on the planet. You can define it economically. But the way I define it is to look at who gets its way in the world. New Zealand has just effectively pulled out of the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing arrangement—an arrangement between the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, the oldest such arrangement on the planet. New Zealand has pulled out with respect to China because it doesn’t want to offend China. I would think Canada might be the next to go. Or look at the World Health Organization. America pays for it, but Chairman Xi in Beijing calls the shots. China gets its way now, and the U.S. doesn’t.
We need politicians with a sense of urgency about these problems, but all they seem to have is an urgency about things that aren’t urgent.
Look at climate change. People say we need to take action over climate change or else rising sea levels are going to overwhelm the Maldives in the Indian Ocean in the 22nd century. That’s the century after this one, which is still quite young. These same people say about the immediate crisis on the southern border that it’s “a natural phenomenon beyond the control of politicians.” But changing the weather in order to lower the sea levels that will threaten the Maldives in the Indian Ocean in the next century is within the power of politicians? In general, our leaders are urgent about nothing that matters and not in the least bit urgent about things that matter very much.
The things our news media talks about incessantly, whether it’s transgender bathrooms or Confederate statues being toppled or the totally dishonest national conversation on race—nothing like this is heard in China as it goes along steadily strengthening its position as the world’s leading power. The Chinese don’t find themselves stuck in these sterile, drain-circling, dishonest public conversations about identity politics. These conversations are a waste of time. And one thing we should demand of our politicians is that they talk about things that aren’t a waste of time.
At the root of our problems is that we have seen the emergence of a true ruling class, like Grand Dukes in medieval Europe. Its members intermarry. They send their kids to the same schools. They circulate back and forth between government and the private sector. And over time it has become increasingly easy to identify members of this class.John Kerry gave a commencement address a couple of years ago in which he told the students, “You are going to be the first generation to live in a borderless world.” And for the elite, the idea of a borderless world rings true. A typical member of the ruling class will get a job with a firm like Goldman Sachs, work for a couple of years in Hong Kong, then move on for a couple of years in Geneva, and then maybe come back to America. What are borders to such a person?
Meanwhile, for the common American, COVID has literally ended, to a large degree, any freedom of movement. They live in the farthest thing from a borderless world. Oftentimes they’re trapped in a town that is dying because of the open-border, cheap-labor policies advocated by people like John Kerry.
Our political division in America today is a class division, and we need to expose it as such whenever we see it. The ruling class tries to keep racial and other forms of division stirred up in our politics so that we don’t notice the class protection racket they are running. Look at that guy from Twitter, Jack Dorsey, who wears a beard like he’s playing the hobo in a Charlie Chaplin silent film. I wouldn’t mind betting that when he’s called to testify in Congress, he has his valet hook on the beard and lower him into the clothes that make him look like he’s been sleeping in a dumpster. Then at night after the cameras are off he’s like Lord Grantham in Downton Abbey, spending an hour being dressed for dinner. Our elites have become incredibly good at theater.
Getting back to the southern border, it perfectly symbolizes the bifurcation of our society. We’re told there’s a health emergency. We’re told we can’t open our businesses or attend weddings or funerals. Yet at the same time, every day, thousands of people pour across the southern border, test positive for COVID, and are then driven to a nice hotel and put up there at taxpayers’ expense.
It’s also interesting to compare the southern border with the northern.Prior to the pandemic, when the border with Canada was open, my kids had their Kinder Eggs confiscated by the Department of Homeland Security when we would cross the border going south into Vermont. Kinder Eggs are chocolate eggs with a kid’s toy inside. They are sold in Canada, but they are banned in the U.S. because the Food and Drug Administration calls the toy a “non-nutritive embed”—and that’s good enough to send Homeland Security agents swinging into action! There is always a big crackdown before Easter on Kinder Eggs.
So at the northern border, there are lots of things, down to Kinder Eggs, that are illegal. But at the southern border, you can come in with pretty much anything you want, including COVID. Why is that? It is because some groups serve the needs of the ruling class and others don’t. License is extended to the former and not the latter.
People ask me, “Why are you going on about Kinder Eggs? They’re not important. It’s more important that so-and-so is up two points in Iowa and three points in New Hampshire. That could be a real game-changer.” To which I answer no, that’s not how it works. If they take the small freedoms away from you, whether it’s the freedom to eat Kinder Eggs or to enjoy a high-pressure shower, you will lose all the larger freedoms, which is the world we’re in now.
I used to get occasional pushback when I’d talk about rights. “Rights are abstract things,” people would say—“they don’t have anything to do with our real lives.” Well, after the last year, we know they have everything to do with our real lives. When you’re told you can’t open your hair salon, when you’re told you can’t have family or friends over for dinner, when you’re told you must wear a mask in your own garden, there’s nothing abstract about it. This is where all the stupid Kinder Egg laws have been trending for years. And it’s why we need to push back.
I made a little joke earlier about studying transgenderism in grade school, but it’s not a laughing matter. Education is the biggest structural defect in our society. We have an almost entirely corrupt and abusive education establishment. And in one corner of Governor Whitmer’s Michigan, of all places, Hillsdale College stands against this. Hillsdale’s literature, I’ve noted through the years, talks a lot about the College’s 177 years of being rooted in the soil of Michigan.
And this reminds me of the fact that if you do not have roots, you are not a functioning society. You can’t just be flotsam and jetsam, bobbing around on the currents of the age, wheresoever they tend. If you do that, you’re cut off from your roots.
This is what’s so frightening about the trends in education today. Cromwell told his portrait painter, “Paint me, warts and all.” That’s not what is happening in America, where the trend in education is to paint only America’s warts. So even the great Kate Smith, who sang “God Bless America” for years, is having her statue taken down because she made a racially insensitive record in 1931. Well, you know who really had a racially insensitive record in 1931? The Democratic Party. But unlike Kate Smith’s statue, it’s still around.
President Macron of France is not my favorite chap—he’s a sinister globalist for one thing. But he made an admirable stand when he announced that not one French statue would be taken down and not a single French street name would be changed because they are all part of French history. And “Bingo!” as Peter Navarro likes to say, the statue toppling and street-name changing in France went away. Why can’t American conservatives show that kind of strength? The Senate Minority Leader says he personally would not be bothered if the historical names of U.S. military bases are changed. The editor of National Review says that he wouldn’t be bothered about taking down Confederate statues. But of course, it doesn’t stop there—now they’re going for all the statues. Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, McKinley, and on and on. The point conservatives need to grasp is, unless you’re prepared to surrender everything, don’t surrender anything.
I’ll end by pointing out that the Left wins because it seizes language.
Take the policy of letting people vote who are not U.S. citizens and shouldn’t be voting. The Left calls this policy “counting every vote.” Therefore someone who wants to make sure voters are citizens is opposed to “counting every vote.” If we don’t take back the language, we will lose the truth. Even on FOX News, I have noticed, news anchors now talk about “gender assigned at birth,” as if that’s something different from one’s biological sex. There may be 57 genders, but there are only two biological sexes.
Don’t surrender the language. Reclaim the language. It’s the first step to recovering our civilization.

RANDOM THOUGHTS THAT MATTER

By E. P. UNUM
\
\June 19, 2021

In no particular order of importance, I wanted to share a few thoughts that for me seem relevant and important.

CATEGORY A: SOME GENERAL THOUGHTS:  1.        Remember when everyone, players and fans alike, stood at sporting events and sang our National Anthem? It was so refreshing to see that last night at the New York Islanders Playoff Hockey Game….and it was not the first time they have done this. 2.        I have been a life-long New York Yankee fan and thought that Kate Smith’s rendition of God Bless America was and is extremely powerful and poignant. But in 2019 the Yankees (and Philadelphia Flyers Hockey Team) and now all of Major League Baseball succumbed to today’s woke mentality and discontinued playing Kate Smith beautiful voice because someone said that back in the 1930s (when the word was on the brink of war) she supposedly sang songs containing ‘racist lyrics” How ignorant! How stupid and short-sighted.  3.         Since when do we teach our children to first think about the color of their classmate’s skin, their religion, or whom they call God rather than looking for the goodness in them and learning how to interact with each other, reading, writing, and arithmetic? When did all this start? Can you spell Obama?. Remember his announcement “Change you can believe in”? I maintain what he really meant was he is going to “Change what you believe”! 4.         I’m wondering why we still do not know who shot and killed Ashley Babbit, the white female Veteran who was climbing the wall trying to get into the Capitol Building on January 6th during the so-called “insurrection”. It’s been almost six months and the FBI and the Capitol Police have thousands of hours of film footage of this entire event, ballistics data, and eyewitness testimony so why is this a secret? Ashley Babbit was unarmed by the way and posed no threat when she was killed. Could it be related to the fact that she was white and was shot by a black officer? Or could it be because embedded democrats and FBI informants needed a sacrificial scapegoat to put an emphasis on the end goal of making sure Trump is banned from ever holding office again? And why have people arrested by the FBI for the January 6th event been forced to languish in jails to this day? Isn’t this a denial of their right to a speedy trial by jury? Where are the indictments for this January 6th event which some democrats have classified as an attack “resembling Pearl Harbor or 9-11!” What planet are these people living on? Please know that in an insurrection, people usually carry weapons. Do you know how many weapons were seized at this event? Zero!  Some insurrection. 5.         Why is the U.S. Military forcing officers and enlisted personnel to read books that highlight racial differences? In the military, focusing on racial issues is the last thing you want to emphasize because when the firefight starts you put your life in the hands of the person next to you and he or she puts his life in yours. You don’t see white, black, red, yellow, or brown, nor do you care whether the person next to you is gay or straight. You are more concerned about returning fire, fighting, and staying alive. So why the hell are we asking our soldiers and sailors to be concerned about race? Do we think the Chinese, Russians, North Koreans, or Iranians are making their officers focus on this nonsense? Also, if you think for a moment that our nation’s military has not been impacted by the growing Critical Race Theory mindset, I suggest you familiarize yourselves with the work of our Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, and his newly hired hand Bishop Garrison. Race is front and center in our military and I frankly don’t understand or appreciate it. It is downright wrong. CATEGORY B: SOME THOUGHTS ON OUR ECONOMY:            By any yardstick of measurement, our economy was poised for some significant growth coming out of the Chinese Pandemic. Why then did we need more stimulus payments to the tune of $6.0 Trillion? What exactly are the benefits to be derived from this spending? Have you seen or heard of how this sending helps Americans? I have spent the better part of forty years in finance and I do not have a clue as to what this spending is supposed to do to improve our competitive position in the world and enhance the quality of life for the American people. Driving down to Florida with my wife for some vacation and to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, I started to reflect on some of the things that have been going on over the past six months. Here are a few of them that directly impact every citizen in this country, rich or poor, white, black, red, brown, yellow, gay or straight, transgender, or whatever…. and our families. These are undeniable incontrovertible facts:  ●       Gasoline costs on average are now $1.20 per gallon higher than last year. ●       Beef, Pork, and Veal have increased about 20.8% per pound from last year.
 ●       Chicken costs have doubled in price since a year ago.
 ●      Fruit and Vegetable Prices have increased about 3% since last year.
 ●       Bacon in May 2021 was $6.35 per pound. Last year it was $3.29.
 ●        In May 2019 Ground Beef was $3.62 per pound. In May 2021 it was $4.10 per pound.
 ●       Milk prices today are at the highest level they have been since 2014! In 2018 for example the average milk price was $2.90 per gallon. In 2021 the price of milk is $3.77 per gallon.
 ●       Tolls on the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike have increased by 37% and 26% respectively.
 ●        Clothing, used cars, lumber, furniture all have increased by double digits from a year ago.
 ●      Inflation has risen 5%, a rate not seen in over a decade. But the Biden Administration continues to spend like drunken sailors on shore leave without a commensurate increase in productivity….a blueprint for inflation! It is what inevitably happens when the government pays people not to work which is what the extension of federal unemployment benefits until September has done! If you pay people not to work, productivity declines and that results in supply shortages and drives up prices. Today we have 9.3 million people unemployed and there are10.7 million jobs available. You don’t need an economics degree from the Ivy League to figure out what is happening. In elementary school, I learned that “too many dollars chasing too few goods is inflation”.
 ●       Our National Debt is rapidly approaching $30 trilliondollars. Right now interest rates are near zero. But what happens when interest rates increase to two or three percent? The interest payments on our debt will reach almost $1.0 trillion or 25% of total tax revenues our government collects!
 ●        Our nation has been the target of two major ransomware attacks, one on an oil pipeline and another on a meat processing plant here in the U.S. that disrupted the supply of both products. Both cyber-attacks emanated from Russia. We have, to date, no response to this, nor do we have a strategy to deal with future cyber-attacks.
 ●        Our southern border is in shambles as illegal immigrants continue to flow into our country to the tune of at least 600,000 over the period March, April, and May 2021. President Trump had this shut down before he left office but President Biden has extended an open invitation to illegals draining the economic resources of our country. Biden summarily stopped construction of the Wall Trump had almost completed, hastening the arrival of illegals. And these immigrants are not just coming from South America but from nations all over the globe, including terrorists and people who hate us. Not a word from President Biden about this or from his designated Czar of the Southern Border, VP Kamala Harris who has yet to visit the border. She wants no part of it. Her idea of fixing the problem is to “research the root causes of why people want to come to America” So she visited Guatemala and concluded that the driving forces behind the increase in immigration are; political corruption and a decline in farming and agriculture due to “climate change. Her recommendation: the U.S. needs to provide more financial grants to countries in South America to help them resolve their problems and thus stem the tide of illegal immigration. Of course….let the U.S. taxpayer foot the bill and pump more dollars into corrupt economies so they can steal more. What could possibly go wrong with that thinking?
 ●        The issue is not only confined to the massive influx of illegal immigrants but also some other even greater perils to our nation. While our border patrols are busy dealing with the crisis at our southern border, the drug cartels from South America and Mexico are having a field day making $ billions in human trafficking and by unrestricted and unchallenged shipments of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs into the United States. That means more and more of our children and adults are getting hooked on these drugs. The impact on health care costs and lost productivity is staggering. Oh, and by the way, guess who is the major supplier of fentanyl in the world….China! Incidentally, I have not heard anyone in the Biden Administration speak to the issue of the tremendous drug problem we now face in America.
 ●        Russia has amassed troops on the Ukrainian Border and China has begun rattling its sabers in the South China Sea. Russia also commenced military naval exercises 300 miles off the coast of Hawaii! Are we comfortable with this? And the North Korean Despot has begun firing missiles again.
 ●        Is Joe Biden a President capable of leading us should a conflict occur? The man displays clear evidence of cognitive impairment which is expected in a man who has suffered two subarachnoid brain bleeds. I remember a time when democrats were demanding President Trump take a cognitive test to prove he was mentally capable and alert. He did and passed with flying colors. Shouldn’t Joe Biden be asked to take such a test? That begs the question…Is Kamala Harris ready to assume a leadership role? She is, of course, an avowed Marxist/Communist and has never held a position of leadership in her career, let alone serve as Commander in Chief…but she is next in line! That raises the question…Are we ready? CATEGORY C: THE CHINESE VIRUS  We have called the pandemic by many names mostly to be “politically correct”. I call it the Chinese Virus because it originated in China. And now, I am going to be politically incorrect by saying this virus was man-made and its release into the world by China was no lab accident; it was intentional. This, of course, is my own personal opinion and I am aware the statement is likely to give all liberals a panic attack with cries of “fanatical conspiracy theory” and I can envision their fangs pointing straight for my jugular. But I am convinced that it was an intentional assault on America and furthermore, that some democrats here in the United States were complicit in the launch of this devastating illness that wrecked the economies of many nations not to mention causing millions of deaths and sickness worldwide. What do I base such an opinion on? Just this: Recently released email messages from America’s Doctor, Anthony Fauci make clear that the U.S. funded a non-profit entity called EcoHealth who in turn provided direct grants to the Wuhan Virology Lab in China who was conducting research on Covid 19, the Chinese Virus. What the hell are we doing funding Chinese Research into a deadly disease? Equally, why are we learning about this now sixteen months later? Did you know that Dr. Fauci provided this financing? Shouldn’t he have disclosed this to President Trump when the virus began to spread? He was using taxpayer dollars to fund this research…our money…yours and mine. Why? For what purpose? Democrats have tried everything under the sun to get rid of Trump. Their hatred for the man knows no bounds. They spied on him when he was a candidate, when he got elected, and when he was a sitting President of the United States. They insulted him and his family and falsified FISA documents to the FISA Courts; conducted illegal wiretaps and attempted to block every candidate for office he nominated including three Supreme Court Justices. For one of these, Justice Kavanagh, they concocted an unsubstantiated accusation by one Christine Ford who claimed Kavanagh molested her while she was a senior in high school but could not provide any credible evidence to prove her claim. It was the theatre of the absurd…but that is what liberal democrats do.  The left fears Trump and will do anything and everything to stop him from running for office again and the Chinese Virus provided the kind of crisis they could not let go to waste. The Chinese Virus proved to be manna from heaven for the left. It enabled them to press for mail-in voting and other machinations and, with some flagrant violations of state election laws, got their candidate Joe Biden elected as the 46th President of the United States with over 80 million votes…more than any presidential candidate in history ever received. More than Barack Hussein Obama! With such a vote, you would think President Biden would be more forceful with China and Russia. You would think, for example, that he would demand of the Chinese President a full disclosure about how the virus was launched upon the world and submit to an independent investigation which, among other things might include “patient #1”. But I don’t believe Joe Biden will do any of that because he is in the pocket of the Chinese. He is the “Big Guy”, the “phantom 10% shareholder” mentioned by Tony Bobulinsky who himself was supposed to be a partner in a firm created by Hunter Biden and funded by the Communist Chinese. And the Chinese have hundreds of lurid photos of Hunter Biden with underage girls, many of which are on Hunter Biden’s laptop…the laptop from hell. The FBI had this laptop well before the 2020 election and the media suppressed disclosure of these details to the public because had they allowed this, fewer people would have voted for Biden. Why have we not demanded of the FBI Director, Christopher Wray an explanation for this? So, I ask you, as you look at Joseph R. Biden, this frail man who has difficulty putting coherent sentences together, stumbling up the steps of Air Force One, answering only a few questions from hand-picked reporters, allowing Vladimir Putin to denounce America for 55 minutes without objection, with a record of plagiarism and lying and with no remarkable contributions to America in his 50 years of public service, and, as you reflect upon the incoherent, illogical actions he has taken which have caused our nation significant harm since January 20, 2021, do you really believe our country is in good hands, secure and safe? I don’t.

In new interview, Abp. Viganò discusses ‘failure’ of Vatican II, Novus Ordo Mass

The next Pope will have to restore all the liturgical books and banish from Catholic churches their unseemly parody, in whose realization notorious modernists and heretics collaborated.Tue Jun 15, 2021 – 4:27 pm EST

June 15, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Archbishop Viganò has given a new interview, this time to Abbé Claude Barthe, a French expert of the liturgy and a great supporter of the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum allowing the traditional Latin Mass to flourish in the Church. The interview dwells on liturgical questions, the Second Vatican Council, as well as the Society of St. Pius X.

Abbé Barthe, who authored numerous books on the traditional liturgy of the Church, had a year ago entered into a supportive, public discussion with Archbishop Viganò after the latter had started publicly to criticize the Second Vatican Council and its aftermath. This new interview is a sort of a follow-up of that discussion, and these two clergymen also differ on some points. As Abbé Barthe puts it, Viganò “agreed to answer our questions on the theme of the new liturgy and in a rather astonishing way (astonishing even to ourselves as he goes after a process of the ‘reform of the reform’, a process which we support).” Barthe adds that he is “very glad to offer our readers this interview, as we believe it serves the debate and promotes reflection.” He presents the interview in the journal Res Novae in French, Italian, and English.

The English translation of this new interview has been made by Diane Montagna for Arouca Press. Arouca Press is soon going to publish a book edited by me with Archbishop Viganò’s criticisms of the Council, the liturgical reform, as well as the message of Fatima. The book will also include the responses of other clergymen and laymen to his criticisms of the Council. As our readers will see, Archbishop Viganò once more finds strong words of criticism of the Second Vatican Council (1962 – 1965) as well as the Novus Ordo Mass (promulgated in 1969). He states that “we must be very clear that the Second Vatican Council was conceived as a revolutionary event.” He goes on to say that “if Vatican II was a revolutionary act, both in the way it was conducted and in the documents it promulgated, it is logical and legitimate to think that its liturgy is also affected by this ideological approach.”When commenting on Pope Benedict XVI’s attempts at restoring the traditional liturgy (which was effectively suppressed after 1969) and the movement referred to above by Abbé Barthe as the “reform of the reform”, Viganò concludes that these attempts were defective:I believe that behind these attempts, which seem to be motivated by pious intentions, lies a fact that none of these prelates [Pope Benedict and Cardinal Robert Sarah] dare confess: the failure of the Council and even more so of its liturgy. Returning to the ancient rite and definitively archiving the squalor of the Novus Ordo would require great humility, because those who would like to save it from shipwreck today were yesterday among the most enthusiastic supporters of the liturgical reform, and of Vatican II with it. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlinesSUBSCRIBEU.S. Canada World CatholicThat is to say, Archbishop Viganò rejects the idea of the “reform of the reform” (further making changes to existing rites), but rather proposes a return to the old liturgy and its faith.

In another field of the liturgical debate, the archbishop also adds new comments, that is to say about the first grave changes of the liturgy made under Pope Pius XII by Annibale Bugnini: the change of the rite of Holy Week in 1955. “Archbishop Annibale Bugnini,” Viganò writes, “was one of the collaborators in the drafting of the Ordo Hebdomadae Sanctae instauratus promulgated during the pontificate of Pius XII. The serious deformations of the new Missal are in nuce [essentially] contained in the rite of Holy Week, demonstrating that the demolition plan had already begun.”

Last, but not least, the Italian prelate also comments on the situation of the Society of St. Pius X with regard to its relationship with the Vatican. Unlike with the Franciscans of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who had been more and more inclined to embrace the traditional liturgy and whose order has been essentially destroyed by Pope Francis, the SSPX still has a certain institutional independence from the Vatican. For Viganò, this seems to be a positive thing in light of the current papacy:

With regard to the Society of St. Pius X, we are witnessing a more subtle maneuver: Bergoglio maintains “good neighborly” relations, and while recognizing certain prerogatives of its Superiors — thus demonstrating that he considers them living members of the Church — on the other hand he may want to barter their complete canonical regularization for an acceptance of the “conciliar magisterium.” It is clear that this is an insidious trap: once an agreement is signed with the Holy See, the independence which the Society enjoys in virtue of its position of not being completely regular would be lost, and with it, its economic independence. Let us not forget that the Society has assets and resources that guarantee sustenance and security for its members. At a time when the Vatican is experiencing a serious financial crisis, those assets are certainly enticing to many, as we have seen in other cases, starting with the Franciscans of the Immaculate, and the persecution of Father Mannelli.

Full interview with Archbishop Viganò

Father Claude Barthe: Your Excellency, you have sometimes spoken of “revolutionary actions” in connection with the creation of the new liturgy after the Second Vatican Council. Could you clarify your thoughts on this matter?

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: First of all, we must be very clear that the Second Vatican Council was conceived as a revolutionary event. Obviously, I am not referring to the good intentions of those who collaborated in the drafting of the preparatory schemas. I am talking instead about the innovators who rejected those schemas together with the condemnation of Communism that the Council should have pronounced, as a large part of the world’s episcopate desired. Now, if Vatican II was a revolutionary act, both in the way it was conducted and in the documents it promulgated, it is logical and legitimate to think that its liturgy is also affected by this ideological approach, especially if we bear in mind that it is the chief means by which the faithful and clergy are catechized. It is no coincidence that Luther and the other Protestant and Anglican heretics used the liturgy as their main method to spread their errors among the faithful.

Having said that, our legitimate suspicion is also confirmed when we consider who the architects of that liturgy were: prelates often suspected of belonging to Freemasonry who were notoriously progressive and who, with the Liturgical Movement of the 1920s and 1930s, had already begun to suggest more than questionable ideas and spread practices that were influenced by archaeologism, which was later condemned by Pius XII in the encyclical Mediator Dei. The versus populum altar was not an invention of Vatican II but of the liturgists who made it practically obligatory at the Council, after having introduced it decades earlier as an exception under the pretext of a supposed return to antiquity. The same can be said for the so-called “Gothic chasuble” in the forms that preceded the Council, especially in France. It became a sort of poncho that was passed off after the Council as a recovery of the original form but was, in fact, a historical and liturgical forgery. By these examples, I wish to highlight that well before Vatican II there were revolutionary forces infiltrating the Church that were ready to make definitive those innovations that were introduced ad experimentum and had become the practice, especially in countries historically less inclined to adapt to romanitas.

Once we understand that the liturgy is the expression of a specific doctrinal approach — which with the Novus Ordo also became ideological — and that the liturgists who conceived it were imbued with this approach, we must analyze the conciliar corpus liturgicum to find confirmation of its revolutionary nature. Beyond the texts and ceremonial rubrics, what makes the reformed rite unequivocally revolutionary is that it was made malleable to the celebrant and the community, on the basis of an adaptability completely unknown to the Roman mens liturgica. The arbitrariness of the innovations is an integral part of the reformed liturgy, whose liturgical books — beginning with Paul VI’s Missale Romanum — are thought of as a rough draft, a canvas at the mercy of more or less talented actors seeking public acclaim. The applause of the faithful, introduced albeit abusively with the Novus Ordo, is the expression of a consensus that is an essential part of a rite that has become a spectacle. On the other hand, in ancient societies theater has always had a liturgical connotation, and it is significant that the conciliar church wanted to exhume this pagan vision by inverting it, that is, by giving a theatrical connotation to the liturgical rite.

Anyone who thinks that the Editio typica in Latin corresponds to the rite that should have been celebrated after the Council sins in naivety as well as in ignorance: nothing in that liturgical book was really intended for daily use by priests, beginning with the pitiful graphic layout, which was clearly neglected precisely because of the awareness that practically no one would ever celebrate the Novus Ordo in Latin. The same papal ceremonies in which the Missale Romanum of Paul VI was used derogated from the rubrics by introducing readings in the vernacular, ceremonies not foreseen, and roles reserved to clerics carried out by laymen and even women. This, in my view, confirms the revolutionary soul of the Council and of the rite inspired by it.

Father Claude Barthe: The liturgical reform, which began in 1964 and produced a new missal in 1969, may seem more radical than its programmatic document, the Second Vatican Council’s Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, Sacrosanctum Concilium. Do you think that Archbishop Bugnini’s Consilium betrayed Vatican II, as some say, or that it developed it, as others suggest?

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: Archbishop Annibale Bugnini was one of the collaborators in the drafting of the Ordo Hebdomadae Sanctae instauratuspromulgated during the pontificate of Pius XII. The serious deformations of the new Missal are in nuce [essentially] contained in the rite of Holy Week, demonstrating that the demolition plan had already begun. There is therefore no betrayal of the Council, so much so that none of its architects ever considered the liturgical reform inconsistent with the mens of Sacrosanctum Concilium. A careful study of the genesis of the Ordo Hebdomadae Sanctae instauratus allows us to understand that the innovators’ demands were only partially accepted but were re-proposed with Montini’s Novus Ordo.

However, it must be clearly said that, unlike all the other Ecumenical Councils, this Council deliberately used its authority to sanction a systematic betrayal of faith and morals, pursued through pastoral, disciplinary and liturgical means. The transitional Missals between the 1962 rubrics and the 1970 Editio typica, and the one that immediately followed — the Editio typica altera of 1975 — show how the process was carried out in small steps, accustoming clergy and faithful to the provisional nature of the rite, to continuous innovation, and to the progressive loss of many elements that initially made the Novus Ordo closer to the last Missale Romanum of John XXIII. I am thinking, for example, of the recitation submissa voce of the Roman Canon in Latin, with its sacrificial Offertory and the Veni Sanctificator, which in the course of adaptation led to the recitation of the Roman Canon aloud, with its Talmudic Offertory and the suppression of the invocation of the Holy Spirit.

Those who prepared the conciliar documents to have them approved by the Council Fathers acted with the same malice that the drafters of the liturgical reform adopted, knowing that they would interpret ambiguous texts in a Catholic way, while those who were to disseminate and utilize them would interpret them in every sense except that.— Article continues below Petition —PRAYER PLEDGE: Join faithful Germans in prayer to STOP homosexual “blessings” and plunge into schism

In fact, this concept is confirmed in everyday practice. Have you ever seen a priest who celebrates the Novus Ordo with the altar facing East, entirely in Latin, wearing the fiddleback (Roman) chasuble and distributing Communion at the Communion rail, without this arousing the ire of his Ordinary and confreres, even though, strictly speaking, this way of celebrating would be perfectly legitimate? Those who have tried — certainly in good faith — have been treated worse than those who habitually celebrate the Tridentine Mass. This demonstrates that the continuity hoped for in the Council’s hermeneutic does not exist, and that the break with the pre-conciliar Church is the norm to which one must conform, to the satisfaction of conservatives.

Lastly, I would like to point out that this awareness of the doctrinal incompatibility of the ancient rite with the ideology of Vatican II is claimed by self-styled theologians and progressive intellectuals, for whom the “Extraordinary Form” of the rite can be tolerated as long as the entire theological framework that it implies is not adopted. This is why the liturgy of the Summorum Pontificum communities is tolerated, provided that in preaching and catechesis one is careful not to criticize Vatican II or the new Mass.Father Claude Barthe: Among the criticisms often made of the new Ordo Missæ, which do you consider to be the most important?Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: The most well-founded criticism lies in having wanted to invent a liturgy for one’s own use and consumption, abandoning the bi-millennial rite that began with the Apostles and harmoniously developed through the centuries. The reformed liturgy — as any competent scholar knows — is the result of an ideological compromise between the Catholic lex orandi and the heretical demands of Protestants and Lutherans. Since the Church’s faith is expressed in public worship, it was essential that the liturgy adapt to the new way of believing, weakening or denying those truths that were considered “uncomfortable” for the pursuit of ecumenical dialogue.A reform that simply wanted to prune certain rites that modern sensibilities could no longer understand could easily have avoided the slavish repetition of what Luther did at the time of the pseudo-reformation and Cranmer did after the Anglican schism: the mere fact of having adopted the innovations with which the heretics rejected certain points of Catholic dogma is an unquestionable demonstration of the Pastors’ subordination to the consensus of those outside the Church, to the detriment of the flock the Lord entrusted to them. Imagine what one of the martyrs of Calvinism, or of the fury of King James, would have thought in seeing popes, cardinals and bishops using a table in place of the altar that cost them their lives; and what respect a heretic might have for the hated Roman Babylon, which is all caught up in awkwardly mimicking what the “reformers” had done four centuries earlier, although perhaps in a more dignified manner. Let us not forget that Luther’s liturgical heresies were conveyed by Bach chorales, while the celebrations of the conciliar Church are accompanied by compositions of unprecedented ugliness. The liturgical breakdown has revealed a doctrinal breakdown, humiliating the Holy Church out of a mere eagerness to please the mentality of the world.Father Claude Barthe: How can we explain the failure of Benedict XVI, Cardinal Sarah, and others who have advocated a gradual “liturgical revival” by (e.g.) celebrating the Mass towards the Lord, reintroducing the Offertory prayers, and distributing Holy Communion on the tongue?Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: If a Vatican official were to give orders to decorate the Sala Nervi in the Paul VI Audience Hall with stucco and frescoes, replacing the hideous sculpture of the Resurrection with a baroque perspective, he would be considered an eccentric, especially when St Peter’s Basilica is just a stone’s throw away. The same thing applies, in my opinion, to attempts to make the reformed liturgy presentable by means of objectively useless window-dressing: what is the point of celebrating the Novus Ordo towards the East, changing the Offertory and distributing Communion on the tongue, when the Tridentine Mass has always provided for this? This “liturgical revival” starts from the same erroneous presuppositions that animated the conciliar reform: modifying the liturgy at will, now distorting the venerable ancient rite to modernize it, now dressing up the reformed rite to make it look like what it is not and does not want to be. In the first case, we would be forcing a queen to wear clogs and dress in rags, in the second we would have the commoner wearing a royal tiara over ruffled hair or sitting on a throne in a straw hat.I believe that behind these attempts, which seem to be motivated by pious intentions, lies a fact that none of these prelates dare confess: the failure of the Council and even more so of its liturgy. Returning to the ancient rite and definitively archiving the squalor of the Novus Ordo would require great humility, because those who would like to save it from shipwreck today were yesterday among the most enthusiastic supporters of the liturgical reform, and of Vatican II with it.I ask myself: if Paul VI had no problem recklessly abolishing the Tridentine liturgy between one day and the next, replacing it with cobbled-together excerpts from the Book of Common Prayer, and imposing this new rite despite the protests of clergy and laity, why exactly should we today use any more consideration in restoring the ancient Roman Rite to its place of honor, by prohibiting the celebration of the Novus Ordo? Why such delicacy of mind today, and such ruthless iconoclastic fury yesterday? And why this cosmetic surgery, if not to hold together the last conciliatory frill by giving it the appearance of what it did not intend to be?The next Pope will have to restore all the liturgical books previous to the conciliar reform and banish from Catholic churches its unseemly parody, in whose realization notorious modernists and heretics collaborated.Father Claude Barthe: In a 2013 interview with the Jesuit magazinesPope Francis cited the liturgical reform as an exemplary fruit of the Council (“Vatican II was a reinterpretation of the Gospel in the light of contemporary culture”), and yet Bergoglio does favors for the Society of St Pius X. Is he interested in the liturgical question?Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: I do not believe that Bergoglio has any interest in the liturgy tout court, and a fortiori in the Tridentine liturgy, which is as alien to him and disliked as anything remotely reminiscent of Catholicism. His approach is political: he tolerates the Ecclesia Dei communities because they keep the conservatives out of the parishes, and at the same time he maintains control over them, forcing them to limit their dissent solely to the liturgical level, while ensuring their fidelity to the conciliar ideology. At a time when the Vatican is experiencing a serious financial crisis, those assets are certainly enticing to many, as we have seen in other cases, starting with the Franciscans of the Immaculate, and the persecution of Father Mannelli.Father Claude Barthe: Do you think that the protective status (dependence on the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and not on the Congregation for Religious) desired by Joseph Ratzinger before and after his accession to the papacy for societies of apostolic life which practice the traditional Mass is in danger today?Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: The canonical position of the Ecclesia Deicommunities has always been at risk. Their survival is linked to their at least implicit acceptance of the conciliar doctrine and liturgical reform. Those who do not conform, by criticizing Vatican II or refusing to celebrate or attend the reformed rite, ipso facto put themselves in a position of being expelled. The superiors of these societies of apostolic life themselves end up being the overseers of their clerics, who are strongly advised to refrain from criticism and to give tangible signs of alignment from time to time, for example, by taking part in celebrations in the “Ordinary Form.” Paradoxically, a diocesan parish priest has greater freedom of speech in doctrinal matters than a member of one of these institutes. It should be said that, according to the mindset of those in power in the Vatican today, the liturgical eccentricities of some communities, far from encouraging the rediscovery of the traditional rite, give it an elitist aspect and confine it to the “small ancient world” to which the proponents of the Bergoglian church have every interest in relegating it. Making the celebration of the Catholic Mass “normal”—according to the dictates of the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum — without “liturgical reservations” and dedicated spaces, would give the impression that it is really possible for any faithful to attend Mass without any other title of belonging than being a Catholic. On the contrary, this Kafkaesque bureaucratic castle forces all conservatives into an enclosure, obliging them to follow the rules of confinement and to demand nothing more than what the sovereign grace deigns to grant them, almost always with the ill-concealed opposition of the diocesan bishop.Bergoglio’s actions are now clearly exposed: his latest encyclical theorizes about heterodox doctrines and a scandalous subservience to the dominant ideology, which is profoundly anti-Catholic and anti-human. From this perspective, questions about the liturgical sensitivity of this or that institute seem to me frankly negligible: not because the liturgy is not important, but because once one is willing to remain silent on the doctrinal front, the complex ceremonies of the Pontifical end up being reduced to a manifestation of aestheticism that poses no real danger to the magic circle of Santa Marta.Father Claude Barthe: Do the ban on individual Masses in St. Peter’s, the three-day inspection of the Congregation for Divine Worship by Archbishop Maniago, and the fact that the Constitution on the reform of the Curia, Prædicate Evangelium, is said to strengthen the powers of oversight for the Congregation for Divine Worship, give rise to fears of a new virulence of the reform? Or does Francis have little interest in this liturgical problem?

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: The ban on celebrating private Masses in St. Peter’s, despite the choral protest of many faithful and some prelates against a real abuse by the Secretariat of State, continues in force and is as an unprecedented scandal. It is a trial balloon to test the ground and study the reactions of prelates, clergy and laity who, for the moment, are limited to the mere, very composed and in some cases embarrassing verbal lamentation. As I have already had occasion to state, I believe that this ban is nothing more than an attempt to give legal semblance to a practice that is now consolidated and universal, which also confirms the doctrinal error that underlies it; namely, the primacy of the community dimension of the “Eucharist” understood as a convivial banquet, to the detriment of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated privately. But here we are touching on Vatican II, which none of the Cardinals who spoke out on the ban on Masses in St. Peter’s dares to question in the slightest, even though it is clearly at the origin of the Secretariat of State’s illegitimate prohibition.

As far as the supervisory powers of the Congregation for Divine Worship are concerned, in themselves they could also be considered in a positive sense, since liturgical matters are strictly within the competence of the Holy See. However, we would be sinning in naivety and lack of foresight if we did not take into account the fact that any norm promulgated by the innovators will be used by them to obtain unconfessed aims, often opposite to those stated.

This is Canada’s Top Ten List of America’s Stupidity

10. Only in America… Could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event.
9. Only in America… Could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they had a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the population is black. 40+% of all federal entitlements go to black Americans, 3X the rate that goes to whites, 5X the rate that goes to Hispanics!
8. Only in America… Could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the former head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.
7. Only in America… Can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.
6. Only in America… Would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just ‘magically’ become American citizens.
5. Only in America… Could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”
4. Only in America… Could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.
3. Only in America… Could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. Oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).
2. Only in America… Could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion dollars more than it has per year – for total spending of $7 million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.
1. Only in America… Could the rich people – who pay 86% of all income taxes – be accused of not paying their “fair share” by 48% of the people who don’t pay any income taxes at all.

The Supreme Court’s Day of Reckoning is Coming

By: John Green

American Thinker

June 18, 2021

(emphasis added)

The election of 2020 is going to lay bare the dereliction of the Supreme Court for all to see.
The COVD-19 pandemic gave numerous state election officials an excuse to implement far-reaching changes to our election processes. Those changes obviously made our systems vulnerable to fraud. States implemented massive mail-in balloting at the same time they relaxed ballot security and voter identification. They even extended the voting periods — to give the criminals more time to commit their fraud. All these changes were unconstitutional. The Constitution clearly gives the various state legislatures the authority to define how their elections will be conducted — not state election officials. Election officials are only empowered to conduct elections within the rules set forth by their respective legislatures — except, apparently, during a pandemic. There must be a pandemic emanation hidden in a penumbra of the Constitution we didn’t know about. Alarmed that the changes would invite fraud, various organizations filed lawsuits to stop the changes.
The Supreme Court declined to get involved. It ruled that the plaintiffs lacked standing because nobody had been harmed — yet. Since the election hadn’t happened, nobody was damaged, and there was no case to be heard. They were thinking like a civil court, not the defenders of the Constitution they are sworn to be. It was a cowardly way to stay out of the political controversy. Unfortunately, it also missed an opportunity to defend the Constitution, which was clearly under attack.
After all the ad-hoc changes had been allowed to stand, the election of 2020 saw an unprecedented number of irregularities — too many to ignore. ●  Election observers were banned from observing the election.
●  Counting stopped in the middle of the night and then restarted after boxes of ballots were mysteriously found.
●  There are reports of ballots being driven across state lines — by the truckload.
●  There were even precincts that counted more ballots than there were registered voters! ●  A number of states filed lawsuits against the states in which these irregularities occurred.
Even though the Supreme Court is supposed to be the arbiter of cases between states, it again refused to get involved. They ruled that Texas couldn’t sue Pennsylvania because Texans had their votes accurately counted and therefore were not harmed by Pennsylvania. Apparently having the wrong president crammed down the throats of Texans is not considered “harm.” Given the flood of illegal aliens President Asterisk has invited — and the crime that has accompanied them — would the justices consider Texas “harmed” now?
A number of other cases were dropped because the court considered them “moot.” The election had been certified and nothing was going to change that — hence no need to look at the evidence. In the immortal words of Hillary Rodham Clinton, “At this point what difference does it make?”
The court seems to have three distinct voting blocs:The oath keepers — These are the justices that are willing to stand up and defend the Constitution even if it means they’ll have to endure attacks. Justices Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch make up this bloc. The jellyfish — These are the justices that lack the spine to face controversy. They’re more concerned about defending the court than the Constitution. Justices Roberts, Barrett, and Kavanaugh make up this bloc. The subversives — These are the justices that have been using penumbras and emanations to rewrite the constitution in pursuit of social engineering. Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, and Breyer make up this bloc.
It’s rumored that only three justices wanted to hear the 2020 election lawsuits. Does anyone doubt that it was those who comprise the “oath keepers” bloc?
Now, Chief Justice Roberts has placed his court in a trick-box. By choosing to stay out of the election controversy, John Roberts has bet the court’s reputation that the mysteries of the election would remain mysteries. As wagers go, it was not a particularly smart one. The election involved millions of ballots, tens of thousands of election workers, and thousands of counties. If there was fraud, there is too much evidence, in too many hands, to stay hidden.
Tellingly, the Democrats are scrambling to keep the truth hidden, but it’s slowly coming out. State-sponsored forensic audits, as well as private investigations, are turning over the stones. We’ll likely know the truth by the end of this year. If it turns out that the election was stolen, the Supreme Court will be exposed as derelict, weak, and useless. It will all be because the jellyfish bloc doesn’t understand the psychology of bullies.
The Supreme Court avoided involvement in the election because they wanted to stay out of the controversy — they didn’t want to be bullied by the Democrats or the media. There are other possible motives, but they’re even more disturbing. Cowing to bullies will not avoid conflict. Bullies prey on weakness. One has to either stand up to them eventually or accept servitude. Every kid on the playground has learned that lesson by the 8th grade. Apparently, John Roberts hasn’t. Each time Chief Justice Roberts has acceded to the bullies, he’s made the court’s future challenge greater.
Ruling that last-minute ad-hoc election changes were unconstitutional would have been relatively straightforward — but the court didn’t.
Hearing the election fraud evidence and adjudicating the result would have created a political crap-storm — but it would have been the right thing to do.
What will become of the court’s reputation if it becomes obvious that the election was stolen and rather than stand up, it sat down?
An April poll by Rasmussen Reports found that 51% of the population believes that fraud affected the election outcome. Does Roberts grasp the significance of that number? It’s the percentage of the population who believe the Supreme Court was derelict in defending the Constitution. If John Roberts wanted to defend the court, perhaps he should have considered pursuit of the truth rather than avoidance of controversy.
A recent Ipsos poll found that 63% of the public thinks it’s time to impose term limits on Supreme Court Justices. The public isn’t stupid.  It recognizes that the Supreme Court needs to be taken to the woodshed.
The next few months will say a lot about the Supreme Court. Will it correct course, or will it embrace servitude to the mob?

Historian’s Corner: Assessing America in the Age of Woke Part One

By: Victor Davis Hanson

Victor Davis Hanson // Private Papers

June 15, 2021

Hat Tip: Rip McIntosh

Wokism took off in June 2020. It became institutionalized after Joe Biden became president. We have now had nearly five months of the radical Biden political agenda to seep through the larger popular culture. So where are we now in this suddenly strange and nearly unrecognizable land?
EconomicallyFor all Biden’s socialist talk, so far the Trump deregulation and tax cuts are still in effect. Their fumes should fuel a short recovery boom, given pent-up demand and post-Covid mania to eat out, to travel, to splurge, and to buy. Eventually, most Americans will leave their home lotus-eating pads and re-climatize back to work.
But the continuance of recessionary stimulus packages has created near-permanent trillion-plus-dollar deficits. We will see very soon a $30 trillion national debt. Incentives for the unemployed still discourage work — at the very time producers are wary and for good reasons. We learned in seventh grade that too many dollars chasing too few goods results in inflation and eventually economic recession, stagflation, or collapse.
Indeed, inflation may be growing at an annualized rate of six to nine percent, depending on whether one counts housing prices, fuels, appliances, cars, other big-ticket commodities, and services as part of the general rise in the cost of living. Biden has frightened producers with Draconian anti-fossil fuel executive orders, ranging from canceling pipelines to putting Anwar off-limits again and discouraging frackers to take risks to meet spiraling gasoline demand. Talk of huge increases in income, corporate, capital gains, payroll, and estate taxes further will dampen producers’ confidence—even if they are not immediately implemented. The idea of 30-year mortgages at the current 2.5 to 3.0 percent interest, as money annually erodes in value by eight percent, is untenable. And the Fed may intervene in the fall—cautiously at first, in panic thereafter. Add it all up: we are entering a new sort of socialist economy, restrained only by the tenuous check of a 50/50 Senate. It is no exaggeration that, economically at least, the US is now headed to the left of the EU.
In 1980, I began farming and by year’s end thought a 14-percent interest ag loan was a godsend, and farm supplies that went up only one-percent a month were a steal. That surrealism can return, although generations that have enjoyed mostly a subsequent 40-years of low inflation and reasonable interest rates are clueless about what is on the horizon.
PoliticallyThe country is divided 50/50, or so we are told. No one knows, however, the volatile views of 10-15 percent of the electorate. On this teeter-totter are the mystical swing suburban voters, the Independents, the Never Trumpers, and the vestigial Blue Dogs. So far, they are clinging to the myth of Old Joe Biden From Scranton who is neither Donald Trump tweeting nor a puppet of the hard left.
But violent crime is rising and spreading into the suburbs—without much evidence that criminals are being arrested, indicted, convicted, and locked up. Race in a myriad of ways is defining how crime is massaged and adjudicated, by the media and the police. The godhead of Critical Race Theory is not Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream,” but a flip progressive version of Bull Connor, in which race alone defines us and expressing hatred of one race is the pastime of the woke elite.
Woke mandatory brainwashing and reeducation are spreading throughout the workforce. Our major institutions such as the campus, the military, the corporate boardroom, Wall Street, and K-12 are in chaos. Would-be opportunistic and careerist Maoists come out of the woodwork to insist on using these platforms to reinvent us along the lines of the 1619 vision.
So will Biden get a strong rebuke in 2022, as do most presidents in their first midterms?
I think he will. But the question is will the backlash be large enough to defeat the progressive/deep-state/media fusion? Can the pushback overcome the huge influxes of leftwing corporate money of the Zuckerberg sort that were bragged upon by the Left as so effective in 2020 in targeting precincts to “incentivize” (some) voters? And can the reaction overcome changes in voting laws that are making Election Day balloting mostly an anachronism?
If Biden were to keep the House and Senate, many of the unwoke are not confident about the future viability of the US, at least as envisioned over the last 232 years as a constitutional republic by our founders.

THE CATHOLIC MONITOR

Pontius Pilate “Conservative” SCOTUS Justices “‘No Standing’… in the Election… the Same Pernicious, B.S. Doctrine was just used to Excuse Obamacare”

Constitutional lawyer Robert Barnes said it best about our RINO “right-leaning establishment legal commentators” and Pontius Pilate “conservative” SCOTUS justices:Robert Barnes@barnes_lawI wonder if all the right-leaning establishment legal commentators that celebrated #SCOTUS “no standing” decisions to play Pontius Pilate in the election cases are feeling good now that the same pernicious, b.s. doctrine was just used to excuse Obamacare? [https://twitter.com/barnes_law/status/1405591178976796672]

Again, the Pontius Pilate “conservative” Supreme Court justices apparently broke their constitutional oaths to uphold the constitution as they did in the December Texas election case. Scholar William Briggs said the SCOTUS cowardly justices didn’t “have to deal with having all the evidence about the elections bruited from a non-ignorable source. How much better to pretend it [the Biden Unconstitutional Steal] never happened”:

SCOTUS cucked. There is no other word for it. Their entire argument for rejecting the suit brought by Texas and joined by almost half the States was Nyah nyah nyah!

Think I’m joking? Here it the Order in its entirety:

155, ORIG. TEXAS V. PENNSYLVANIA, ET AL.

The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.

Statement of Justice Alito, with whom Justice Thomas joins: In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction. See Arizona v. California, 589 U. S. ___ (Feb. 24, 2020) (Thomas, J., dissenting) [the dashes are sic]. I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.

No argument. Just “Nyah nyah nyah.” With the cringe word cognizable. Plus, Article III? The one that says “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort”? The one that applies to Biden selling the office of the Vice Presidency to the Chinese?

Nah, not that Article III.

Roberts aligned with Breyer, Gorsuch was lost after discovering the right for men to be women hidden in the interstices of the Constitution, Kavanaugh was still assembling his all-female staff, and you were warned about Barrett. The other non-entities voted exactly how they were either told or expected to. Only Alito and Thomas stayed strong.

Don’t bother disagreeing. Everybody reading knows with moral certainty that if this was Pennsylvania suing Texas on behalf of Tony Bobulinksi—excuse me, Joe Biden—the vote would have been in favor of taking the case, probably unanimously.

“Conservative” justices like Gorsuch and Roberts are more than willing to make law when it aligns with the interests of our ruling elite. But they quail when they have chances to strike return blows.

The left ignores the law and does what it wants. When the right follows their example, the left screams “You must follow the law!” And the right cowers and mews and surrenders. The right uses the term, but never understood the war part of Culture War.

One of the rumors before yesterday’s order was that so many states joined with Texas, so that when SCOTUS finally ruled against Texas, the right would be left with no weapons. The media would say “IT’S OVER.” Well, they’re still saying that. But now the court is doesn’t have to deal with having all the evidence about the elections bruited from a non-ignorable source. How much better to pretend it never happened. [https://wmbriggs.com/post/33854/]

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He want you to do next.

“The AAS statement… establishes that Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia has affirmed propositions that are heretical in the strict sense.”

“Francis’ heterodoxy is now official. He has published his letter to the Argentina bishops in Acta Apostlica Series making those letters magisterial documents.”

Pray an Our Father now for the grace to know God’s Will and to do it. SHARESHARECommentssaid…Aqua We are intended to be a Republic of, by and for the People. Political problems will be solved by us. Not by the Black Robes. The Black Robes were, by design, the weakest of the “co-equal” Branches.Big problems will not be solved by the Black Robes. Nor must we necessarily submit to them if they try to assert their Black Robe authority above that which emanates from We The People (compulsory conscience violating cake baking). This is a good lesson for us. *Stop looking at the Black Robes as ultimate authority*. Our problems will be solved at the grass-roots and we will inform the Black-Robes of the legal terrain in which we *permit* them to rule.We are a self-governing People. We must take back authority the Black Robes usurped from us. Their rulings are good reminders they were never intended to govern. They advise. We consent.
