Riots, Francis Hysteria, Climate Change & the Marxist Revolution

On ABC’s Good Morning America, George Floyd’s brother Terrence called for an end to the “destructive” riots:

“ROBIN ROBERTS: [George Floyd] would appreciate that the majority of the protests have been peaceful, but as you know, it’s being overshadowed by those who are exploiting the protests. Are you and the family concerned that will take away from the message, the call for justice for your family, and in this country?”

“TERRENCE FLOYD: Yes, I do feel like it’s overshadowing what’s going on. Because like I said, he was about peace. He was about unity. But the things transpiring now, they may call it unity, but it’s destructive unity. That’s not what my brother was about.

It’s okay to be angry, but channel your anger to do something positive, or make a change another way. Because we’ve been down this road already. We’ve been down this road already. He would want us to seek justice the way we’re trying to do. But channel it another way. The anger, damaging your hometown, it’s not the way he’d want.”

However, the Socialist website Counter Punch apparently against the wishes of the Floyd family is letting everyone know that the “destructive” race war riot hysteria is not about George Floyd, but about a Communist class war, “systemic realignment of the economic and political structure” and Marxist revolution:

“Do you think this past weekend was dreadful? Just wait. If Derek Chauvin is let off the hook for the murder of George Floyd, the recent protests will seem minor. To be sure, some of these disruptions, like the looting of minority businesses, are counterproductive, which is why the left has an obligation to organize and direct this rage at the real perpetrators, the capitalist class and their defenders.”

It appears that the race war hysteria riots could be connected to Francis’ pushing of the climate change hysteria agenda which ultimately may be about Marxist revolution.

On September 26, 2019, the Communist website Marxist.com couldn’t have stated it more clearly that Francis’ hysteria climate change agenda is only a means to “system change” or revolution:

Journalist James Taylor explained that the Marxists and leftists used the very climate change hysteria policies promoted by Francis which caused the Chile and Ecuador riots as “propaganda for “system change” due to “unequal wealth”:

“Forget the propaganda from leftist apologists blaming the Chile riots on “unequal wealth,” the catalyst for the riots was a rise in Santiago Metro prices made necessary by carbon dioxide taxes and a conversion of the Metro from conventional power to renewable energy. Worse, those programs have no measurable impact on global temperatures. The programs amounted to nothing more than high-cost climate change virtue signaling at the expense of the Chilean people. And now Chileans are letting their displeasure be known.”

“… The Chilean government should have learned a lesson from the Yellow Vest protests in France that began last year and the riots in Ecuador this past month that forced the Ecuadorian government to flee the capital. Each of those events was sparked by rises in energy prices fueled by alarmist government climate policies.”

“Widespread riots are the repeated price paid forclimate change virtue signaling. It is the price climate alarmists would like all of us to pay for battling a fictitious climate crisis at the heart of the environmental left’s Climate Delusion.”

Might climate change policies and coronavirus hysteria lockdowns as well as the riots be not so much about Francis climate change hysteria, Francis COVID hysteria or Francis bishops race war hysteria, but pushing for a Marxist one-world government?

What might be the real goal of all the Francis hysteria?

Might Francis’s hidden agenda at the Amazon Synod have been not so much about undermining Catholic doctrine (which has already been greatly accomplished with Amoris Laetitia), but pushing for a Marxist one-world government?

Socialist Adolf Hitler wanted a one-world government so he inspired the Hitler youth and German race with race war hysteria propaganda as the Socialists are presently using race war hysteria propaganda for their Marxist revolution in the United States.

So, now, is it possible that the Marxists, global elite and Francis apparently want a one-world government and are attempting to inspire green youth and others with hysteria propaganda using the big lie scare tactic of the end of the world is near unless the world accepts a “‘green dictatorship” one-world government.

On August 9, 2019, Francis in an interview with the Vatican Insider showed that he had joined climate extremists in shamelessly exploiting the youth hysteric Greta Thunberg for a “regressive green dictatorship” one-world government.

“He praised the increased awareness and movements among young people, such as Greta Thunberg, the Swedish teenager whose #FridaysForFuture campaign asks students to hold a strike to demand swift action on climate change. Francis had met the 16-year-old environmental activist at a weekly general audience in St. Peter’s Square in April.”

Scientist and doctor Laurent Alexandre according to Climate Changed Dispatch in the article “French Doctor Exposes How Militant Climate Extremists Are Exploiting Greta Thunberg” said “people who follow Greta Thunberg are the useful idiots of the green dictatorship”:

“In a stinging commentary at Le Figaro here, Dr. Laurent Alexandre, surgeon-urologist, a graduate of Sciences Po, HEC and ENA, and co-founder of the Doctissimo website, asserts that teenage Nobel Prize nominee Greta Thunberg is being shamelessly exploited and “is playing into the hands of economic interests.” 

“Laurent Alexandre first comments that “the young people who follow Greta Thunberg are the useful idiots of the green dictatorship” much in the same way Lenin called left-wing bourgeois “useful idiots of the revolution” and that the failures of all Marxist models have ‘left the anti-liberals in turmoil.’”

“He writes that ecology today serves as ‘the ideal instrument to propose a new utopia that is a substitute for the Marxist dictatorship’. He adds: ‘By exploiting the youth, we are imposing a liberticidal agenda in the name of good feelings.’”

“… Alexandre implies that Greta Thunberg is unwittingly promoting ‘the interests of China and Russia’ and that her demands would make us “highly dependent on rare metals needed for wind, solar and storage installations, of which China has a near-monopoly.”

“The French urologist and book author describes Ms. Thunberg as ‘a shamefully manipulated victim’ who needs to be protected, but adds that her radical ideas ‘must be attacked relentlessly’”.

“… Finally, Alexandre comments that following the green path will backfire because it would ,aggravate global warming, increase the waste of public money, lead to a regressive green dictatorship and put us at the mercy of China and Russia. Bracing for the Court in June

As the calendar was about to turn last fall to October, I wrote in these columns that the month has far scarier things to deliver than Halloween, namely, the opening of new term for the U.S. Supreme Court. (“How Will We Live in the Time of the Transgendered”)

The Court has been the main engine in reshaping what passes as our “culture,” as it gradually swept away the legal and the moral restraints on pornography and abortion, and set in train an understanding of “sex” that would be more and more “liberated” from a framework of marital commitment.  And now that project of sexual liberation would be given its radical further step this year as the Court faced the issue of transgenderism.

In the case of Harris Funeral Homes, one Anthony Stephens had worked as a funeral director, before he was seized by a sense of gender dysphoria.  He chose to present himself to clients as a woman, in his dress and appearance. When the change proved unsettling for his employers, he was let go, and he quickly sought to sue under the Civil Rights Acts.  Title VII of the Act of 1964 barred discriminations based on “sex,” and Stephens claimed now that the Act covered an aversion to people who were shifting in their “gender identity.”

It was quite implausible, of course, to think that the Congressmen who passed that Act were willing to protect people who simply felt strongly that they had undergone a shift in their sex – any more than they would have covered people like Rachel Dolezal in Spokane, who claimed earnestly to feel black rather than white, and was bounced from her position as the head of the local National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

I recalled, in my column, that impressive brief written by Michael Hanby, David Crawford, and Margaret McCarthy of the John Paul II Institute, making the telling point that the issue in the case involved more than the freedom of Stephens to dress as he pleased.

To come down on the side of Stephens was to arrive at the decisive conclusion that Stephens’s sense of himself was indeed factually true, that his feelings on the matter were sufficient to override any of the objective differences in the structures of organs and bodies that separate males from females.  Even people working around Stephens would be compelled to “confess” their assent to that claim, lest they create legal hazards for their employers and put their own jobs at risk.

A decision in favor of Stephens, then, promises to do for transgenderism what Roe v. Wade did for abortion:  the demand to acknowledge the rightness of that decision will radiate outward, in demands to teach these new civic lessons to children in schools; to require even small religious colleges to offer active support and promotion of the transgendered; and to post cautions for what we may say in settings private as well as public.

That was the question hovering in October. But now it’s June, and for conservatives June has been the cruelest month.  That is when the Court finally releases its decisions on the most contested cases, and it’s the time when conservatives have been conditioned to brace themselves for the worst.

It was in June 1992, when the Court seemed on the threshold of overturning Roe v. Wade, that the defections of Justices Kennedy, O’Connor, and Souter worked to save Roe for yet another generation.  It was in June five years ago, in Obergefell v. Hodges, that Justice Kennedy, after preparing the ground, finally voted to install same-sex marriage.

By June, conservatives have the immanent sense of a sell-out about to happen.  They firmly expect the four liberal justices to vote in a phalanx in virtually every case.  But already there are apprehensions in the air that the five conservative justices will not hold together.  The only unknowns are the two newest, youngest members of the Court.   Both have been vetted and pronounced by the highest sources as Originalists and “textualists.”

And yet, “textualism” is not enough to carry the case.  The lawyers for Stephens say that the text of the statute bars discriminations based on “sex,” and Stephens’ employer recoiled from his sense of his sexual identity.  The lawyers on the other side may cite the dictionaries from 1964 to show that “sex” was not understood to cover “gender identity.”

But the liberal side may play the ace of Lyman Trumbull. Trumbull managed the passage of the Fourteenth Amendment in the Senate, and he had to assure his colleagues up and down that nothing in that Amendment, calling for the Equal Protection of the Laws, would bar those laws in Illinois as well as Virginia that barred interracial marriage.

We have now a fuller, more accurate view, of what that principle on Equal Protection entails in regard to discriminations based on race. The argument will be made that, in the same way, the statute of 1964 must be read with the fuller understanding of “sex” in our own age.

That argument cannot be countered with records of what Congressmen said in 1964.  It can be countered mainly by drawing on the writings of Ryan Anderson, Paul McHugh, Lawrence Mayer, and others, who have drawn out the objective differences in nature, in organs and hormones, which separate males and females.

That is not, however, what conservative judges typically do: to deal with the moral substance of the issue if they cannot depend on the constitutional text.  But if one of the new conservative justices defects on these points, we will find Originalists and textualists on both sides of abortion, same-sex marriage, and transgenderism.

That would not be a sign of a jurisprudence handsomely “neutral” on results.  It would be the sign of a morally empty jurisprudence, and the beginning of a crippling crisis for conservatives.  Fasten your safety belt; it could be a rocky June.

Churches in 6 states damaged by violent protests

Washington, D.C. Newsroom, Jun 1, 2020 / 05:00 pm MT (CNA).- Catholic churches and cathedrals in several cities were among the buildings damaged in the protests and riots that occurred nationwide over the past week.

Church buildings in California, Minnesota, New York, Kentucky, Texas, and Colorado were attacked. Many of the defaced or damaged churches were cathedrals. The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver sustained permanent damage. 

Vandals repeatedly struck the Denver cathedral on multiple nights of the protests and riots over the weekend. The church building and rectory were spray painted with the slogans “Pedofiles” [sic], “God is dead,” “There is no God,” along with other anti-police, anarchist, and anti-religion phrases and symbols. 

Gates surrounding the cathedral were damaged, and tear gas that was fired to disperse the protests leaked into the rectory. The doors to the cathedral are believed to have been permanently damaged by the vandalism and will reportedly need to be replaced. 

Three bags of rocks were collected from the parking lot, but the cathedral’s most valuable windows were unharmed. Other windows on the cathedral’s campus were shattered.  

St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City was tagged with various graffiti, including profanities, “No justice, no peace,” “BLM” (Black Lives Matter) “NYPDK.” The name of George Floyd was also written on the stairs outside the cathedral.

Floyd’s killing by a Minneapolis police officer on May 25 sparked a week of ongoing protests in cities across the country, some of which descended into violence.

In New York City, surveillance video captured two women spray painting the cathedral on Saturday afternoon, during the protests in the city. Police are looking to identify both women and are offering a reward. 

On Sunday, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York and chairman of the Commission of Religious Leaders (CORL), issued a joint statement condemning the death of Floyd as well as violence and looting. 

“We respect those who want to honor George Floyd’s memory with peaceful protest against the horror, evil, and sin that is racism,” the statement said. 

“We also support the members of Floyd’s family who said, in part, ‘We cannot endanger each other as we respond to the necessary urge to raise our voices in unison and in outrage. Looting and violence distract from the strength of our collective voice.’” 

In Dallas, the Saint Jude Chapel located in the city’s downtown area was severely damaged by rocks late Friday evening. 

“We did have some vandalism at St. Jude on late Friday night. They threw a couple of these rocks through the window,” said Fr. Jonathan Austin, chaplain of the chapel, during his homily at Sunday’s Mass. Austin held up one of the rocks that was thrown through the window. 

Austin said that when he watched a surveillance video of the vandalism, he doubted that the vandals knew that they were even attacking a church, and that he suspected they were “breaking things to break things.” 

“I looked in their eyes and I thought, ‘wow, they don’t even know.’ Just the smile that was there, that this was a good thing,” he said. 

Three windows at the front of the chapel were shattered, and the chapel was boarded up as a result.

“These panes of glass are nothing,” said Austin. “Glass breaks all the time, sadly. But last week, Mr. George Floyd’s life was taken. It was taken by a man who did not respect it.” 

Austin added that he believed the “vast, vast majority” of people throughout the country were “not rising up for something bad, but for something good.” He urged everyone to “stand for true peace,” and offered prayers for Floyd, his family, and others who lost their lives to “horrific acts, especially at the hands of authorities.” 

The Daughters of St. Paul bookstore in Chicago was similarly damaged by rocks, and would-be looters entered the store early on Sunday morning. Earlier in the day, the Blessed Sacrament was removed from the tabernacle in the bookstore’s chapel and the sisters sequestered themselves upstairs. 

None of the sisters were injured, and upon doing a review of inventory, found that nothing had been stolen. 

The rectory of the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville suffered damage due to rocks thrown by protestors. Three windows were shattered late Friday evening, and the cathedral proceeded to preemptively board up all other windows to prevent further damage. 

Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Louisville, who resides at the damaged rectory along with another priest, has spoken out in favor of peaceful protests and condemned “senseless violence” in the city. 

In Minneapolis, where the protests began, St. Mary’s Basilica–the first basilica in the United States–sustained minor damage during protests on May 29. A fire was lit underneath a pew, but it did not spread beyond that pew. 

“The Basilica of Saint Mary did withstand minor damage yesterday. No one was injured in the incident. At the time we pray for peace and healing in our city,” a spokesperson for the basilica said in a statement issued May 30. The basilica is the co-cathedral of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

In Los Angeles, the Our Lady of Mt. Lebanon-St. Peter Cathedral, the Maronite cathedral for the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon, was vandalized with anti-police messages during the protests and riots. Tur Levnon@turlevnon

On Monday, the cathedral shared a video of people painting over the graffiti. 

“Peace to all !! Our Cathedral is shining again,” wrote the church on Facebook.

Dear friends and enemies of Stilum Curiae, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has shared with us a letter he received from a cloistered sister and his response to her. This exchange of letters is truly very interesting and worthy of attention and reflection. Happy reading.

Novena of Pentecost 2020

Most Reverend Excellency Monsignor Carlo Viganò,

I am a cloistered religious sister, and I am writing to you after a conversation I had with our spiritual Father. Our conversation concerned your latest “Appeal” which has gone around the world to awaken consciences about the imminent danger that is underneath the mask of the “coronavirus” emergency. And it is interesting to note that even non-believers are alarmed at the despotic course of events. The situation is increasingly overwhelming, but the strategy being used by Bergoglio and the forces allied with him employs a technique of isolation and disintegration of any group that could possibly form a counter-force. I call it “counter-force” because the word “resistance” seems to me to be too “human” and somewhat insufficient.

It is most probable that in the near future the preparation for the manifestation of the Antichrist will become ever more imposed and oppressive, also due to the steps that Bergoglio himself will decide to take in preparation. The objective, obviously, is to eliminate the “hot heads” – those who are subversive and who stand in the way of a plan that has already been designed and that now waits for nothing else other than to be fully realized. The concern that I expressed to our spiritual Father is the fact that there is no “counter-organization” even within the “true Church” that could be a sort of “clandestine Church” capable of mobilizing itself in a coordinated way to the extent that this may be possible. The next steps [of Bergoglio] will be specifically aimed at immobilizing any sort of rebellion, in line with his “strategy” of isolation and rendering action impossible (a strategy that is no longer hidden).

As a cloistered nun, I believe in very different “strategies” – supernatural strategies – that notably escape the notice of the most organized and totalitarian forces. But the problem is that the time seems to me to be very short. And in this regard, I am pleased to let you know that our Mother Abbess often reads to us at table from your lucid and well-outlined interventions. Whenever the voice of rectitude and love for Christ and His Church is heard, one cannot help but recognize it.

The spiritual Father suggested to me that I should write these reflections to you, encouraging you to continue going forward. I will tell you right away that I am not a mystic nor even a saint, but I am speaking on behalf of many other silent voices of the Church to tell you that you are not alone and that the battle has only just begun.

Looking at the signatures of the Appeal it seems to me that there are many possibilities for working to create some sort of coordination, a “going forward together” as the little army of the Immaculata (…and I also include here non-believers as a “potential members” of the same army, even unknowingly). If Saint Maximilian Mary Kolbe called the Blessed Mother “The Ever-Victorious One,” it is also true that the Bull of Pius IX authoritatively declares her to be “The Eternal Enemy” of the devil. And you know better than I that the battle to which I refer is precisely this one: the real stakes in this battle are the eternal salvation of many souls.

And so this poor letter wants to be a small encouragement to you not to give up and also to continue in a constructive dialogue with those “few” but good clergy and religious who are suffering for the same reasons. There could be many inspirations of the Holy Spirit in these souls in close collaboration. As for the slanders, misunderstandings, and various personal attacks they are making you suffer, these are all things that you have known personally and that represent the jewels set in the crown that awaits you…but it is a “crown” that is not yet complete: the Immaculata wants to place the most precious jewels in it herself.

I would like to conclude with a reference to the famous miracle attributed to Saint Clare which caused the Saracens who were already on the walls of her monastery to flee and never return. The miracle occurred as a result of her faith – she who was defined as the most faithful “Footprint of the Mother of God” – and it was in virtue of her love for the Most Blessed Sacrament, the True Light against any sort of darkness. I say this because “these” are the “powers” in which we trust and which are so feared by our enemies. The miracle occurred only at the last moment, when all human hopes had been erased. If the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is not far off, now is the time of the battle, and she who is our Leader and Co-Redemptrix wants to see us fight, suffer, and implore Her Victory, which is already at the gates.

I thank you for having listened to me patiently, and I humbly ask you for your blessing for me and for my entire community. Please remember me in your daily Holy Mass.

Dear Sister,

Thank you very much for your letter, which I read attentively. I fully share your clear and realistic vision of the present situation of crisis that involves the Church and the world.

With a supernatural gaze, corroborated by Sacred Scripture and various messages of Our Lady, we can understand that in this moment we can now see with greater clarity the real dimension of the epochal clash between Good and Evil, between the sons of Light and the sons of Darkness. What leaves one truly scandalized is seeing how the top levels of the Hierarchy are openly placing themselves at the service of the Prince of this world, adopting the demands made by the United Nations for the globalist agenda, Masonic brotherhood, Malthusian ecologism, immigrationism… What is being created is a single world religion without dogmas or morals, according to the wishes of Freemasonry…it is obvious that Bergoglio, along with those who are behind him and support him, aspires to preside over this infernal parody of the Church of Christ.

I am sure that you have also noticed, dear Sister, the insistence of so many Prelates and of Catholic media on the presumed necessity of a New World Order: Cardinals and Bishops have spoken about it, as well as La Civiltà Cattolica, Vatican News, Avvenire and L’Osservatore Romano, with the arrogance of those who are able to say things that were once unheard of [in Catholic circles] thanks to the protection they enjoy [from the leadership of the hierarchy]. But on closer look, the ability of the wicked to move and act, to conceal their intentions, is much less than first thought: they are so certain of having already reached their objective that they have openly revealed their intentions with arrogance and ostentation, laying aside the prudence and astuteness that formerly permitted them to remain hidden. Behold how openly the proponents of world government and the élites who want to impose their tyranny on the peoples may now be seen; behold how, along with them, a neo-paganism is also openly revealing itself as the religious arm of this tyranny, defined by some as green apostasy. We know who they are, what motivates their actions and what their goals are: behind them there is always the Prince of this world, against whom the Queen of Victories leads our battered militias, together with the far greater and terrible army of celestial hosts. But since we have already chosen what side we are on in the field of battle, we must not fear, because Our Lord has already conquered, while he offers us the precious opportunity to weave for ourselves an especially glorious crown in these apocalyptic days.

I believe that the essential point for effectively conducting a spiritual, doctrinal and moral battle against the enemies of the Church is the persuasion that the present crisis is the metastasis of the conciliar cancer: If we have not understood the causal relationship between Vatican II and its logical and necessary consequences over the course of the last sixty years, it will not be possible to steer the rudder of the Church back to the direction given it by her Divine Helmsman, the course that it maintained for two thousand years. For decades they catechized us with the hateful phrase “there is no going back” with regard to the Liturgy, the Faith, moral teaching, penance, asceticism. Today we hear the same expressions slavishly repeated in the civil sphere, through which the attempt is made to indoctrinate the masses that “nothing will be as it was before.” Modernism and Covid-19 are part of the same brand, and for anyone who has their gaze towards the transcendent it is not difficult to understand that the greatest fear of those who want us to believe that the race towards the abyss is both unavoidable and unstoppable is that we will not believe them, ignore them, and unmask their conspiracy.  This is our duty, today: to open the eyes of many people, both clergy and religious, who have not yet put together the overall picture, limiting themselves to looking at reality only in a partial and disjointed way. As soon as we have helped them to understand the mechanism, they will understand everything else.

It is possible to go back, dear Sister, it is possible to do so in such a way that the good that was fraudulently taken from us may be restored: but only in the coherence of doctrine, without compromises, without yielding, without opportunism. The Lord will deign to grant us a share in his victory, even if we are weak and without material means, only if we will abandon ourselves totally to him and to His Most Holy Mother.

I entrust myself to your prayers and to the prayers of your fellow Sisters, and I bless you and your entire community from my heart.

For three months, we have witnessed firsthand the evil gripping the entire world, and with the intended consequence of starving God’s children of access to the Bread of Life.

  There is no mistaking the relationship of this fact to the prophecy in Daniel Ch. 12, as the Daily (public) Sacrifice has been abolished (from within).

And now, after Benedict XVI has recently publicly asserted that he in fact retains the Spiritual authority of the Papacy (to the dismay and outrage of the Occupant) we can begin to see why the “persecution” of Pope Benedict XVI will now “reach its pinnacle.”

The Occupant will simply not tolerate a contrasting voice of true papal authority, who will use it contradict the heresy which has, and will continue to, tumble forth from Rome. For this reason, we can easily understand how Benedict “will (now) be forced to flee the Vatican”, and when he does “the Church will divide, one side against the other.”

In other words, those who will align with the Light of Truth, and those who will follow lies. But Jesus provides the solution for His priests at this time, calling on them to “(n)ever forsake your Mission…Never accept lies in lieu of the Truth,” and to ask Jesus to “help…in the difficult times ahead.” Rise, Unite and pray for the strength that THEY WILL NEED in order to uphold the Truth and the “Grace to administer the Holy Sacraments” properly.  Only in doing so will Priests be able to help Jesus feed the Church with the Bread of Life, and to remain loyal, EVEN WHEN “PROHIBITED FROM DOING SO.”

Only after Benedict departs Rome will the Warning take place. Therefore, as Benedict’s departure fast approaches, so also does the greatest act of Mercy of God, the Warning, also follow. Keep all eyes on Benedict, and pray for faith and the strength to persevere in the times ahead.

Heresy is a denial of revealed truth.

So, the title of this article, since it runs contrary to opinions cited by Dr. Mazza in his recent discussions with Dr. Taylor Marshall and Anne Barnhardt/Mark Docherty, I will lay it out in simple form, without a discussion, to allow you to look directly at the argument in strict logical form.

1. Heresy is a denial of revealed truth.
2. Revealed truth contains Scripture and Tradition. (Cf. Vatican I, Session 3, held on April 24, 1870, Dei Filius, in chapter 2, cited here below)
3. Tradition contains Divine and Apostolic Tradition. (cf. Vatican I, profession of Faith, n. 2, cited here below)
4. Apostolic Tradition contains both the teaching and the judgements of the Apostles, written and unwritten (Cf. Vatican I, Session 3, held on April 24, 1870, Dei Filius, in chapter 2, cited here below. Cf. also Mt. 19:28, where the judgements of the Apostles are declared by God Himself to be authoritative over the whole Church. This declaration is a divine ordinance.)
5. The Roman Pontiff is servant of the Deposit of the Faith, not its lord. (Cf. Vatican I, Session 4, chapter 4, n. 6, here below)
   1. Therefore, the Roman Pontiff cannot legitimately act or teach contrary to the Deposit of the Faith.
   2. Therefore, the Roman Pontiff cannot legitimately act or teach contrary to Divine or Apostolic Tradition.
   3. Therefore, the Roman Pontiff cannot legitimately act or teach contrary to Apostolic Tradition.
6. Therefore, the Roman Pontiff cannot legitimately act or teach contrary to the judgements of the Apostles.
7. It was a judgement of Saint Peter to die at Rome and entrust his office to the Church of Rome. (Cf. here below, Vatican I, Session 4, in chapter 3, n. 2, where the unity of the Primacy and the Church of Rome is called by divine ordinance, which is a technical term for the Divine Approval of the judgements of the Apostles, who were chosen by the Lord and appointed to their offices and empowered to found the Church)

To feign a resignation under great necessity is not a heresy, it is an act. If it has the appearance to theologians of the German school as an act which serves their progressive agenda and is licit, that matters not, other than that it successfully fools them. Mark Docherty errs too when he reasons St Peter was not Bishop of Rome at Pentecost so the see of Rome is not bound to the papacy. This denies apostolic tradition as it maintains all revelation ended at Pentecost, not at the death of the last Apostle.

Mary of Agreda (The Mystical City of God: The Coronation p. 221), St. Peter said, “I, ,my Lord, offer myself to suffer and die in imitation of my Lord and Redeemer, preaching the faith at present to Jerusalem, and afterwards in Pontus, Galatia, Bythinia and Cappadocia, provinces of Asia; and I shall take up my residence at first in Antioch and afterwards in Rome, where I will establish my seat and found the Cathedra of Christ our Redeemer and Master, and where the head of the Church shall have his residence.” She continues, “These words of saint Peter were spoken in obedience to a positive command of the Lord, pointing out the Roman Church as the centre and capital of the universal Church. Without such a command of the Lord, saint Peter would not have decided this difficult and important matter.”St. Peter did not go to Rome, preach in Rome, or die in Rome without God willing it. This is and will be the seat of the pope until the end of time. “The almost universal capitulation of the Church hierarchy to the idea that the protection of our health and welfare from the ravaging forces of the present pandemic requires almost total suppression of the Sacraments, while at the same time requiring a “religious” subjection of mind and will to the “wisdom” and “science” of governments and their Health Boards or Institutes, is only the most recent sign of such impotency and prostitution of the Church before the world.

As we have pointed out repeatedly, the ultimate source of this prostitution lies in an intellectual surrender to the world of reductive science, and a consequent taking precedence of man’s evolutionary becoming over the Being and Grace of God. We rightly consider this it to be an ominous sign of much worse things to come. But we also need to understand that what is now occurring within the Church, and with the hierarchy, is not something which is radically new and unexpected.

St. Peter writes, “Dearly beloved, think not strange the burning heat which is to try you, as if some new thing happened to you.” (1 Pet. 4: 12).  St. Peter is here speaking of all the suffering and persecution that is destined to come upon us, and the necessity of shouldering these crosses in our following of our Christ. But this passage would also seem singularly appropriate for helping us to understand that the present crisis in the Church is not a “new thing’, but rather is something which has very specific historical causes. As the popular saying goes, “it is a case long in the making”.

Controversy has also surrounded testing kits. Tanzania’s President John Magufuli has dismissed imported coronavirus testing kits as faulty, saying they returned positive results on samples taken from a goat and a pawpaw. This made no sense at all and suggests foul play. Testing kits in the recent past have also been found to be contaminated with bacteria or Covid-19 itself. You can read more about that here.

As to the cause of the headaches, while straps and pressure from the mask could be causative, the bulk of the evidence points toward hypoxia and/or hypercapnia as the cause. Unfortunately, no one is telling the frail elderly and those with lung diseases, such as COPD, emphysema or pulmonary fibrosis, of these dangers when wearing a facial mask of any kind—which can cause a severe worsening of lung function. People with cancer, especially if the cancer has spread, will be at a further risk from prolonged hypoxia as the cancer grows best in a microenvironment that is low in oxygen. Low oxygen also promotes inflammation which can promote the growth, invasion and spread of cancers.  Repeated episodes of hypoxia have been proposed as a significant factor in atherosclerosis and hence increases all cardiovascular (heart attacks) and cerebrovascular (strokes) diseases.

There is another danger to wearing these masks on a daily basis, especially if worn for several hours. When a person is infected with a respiratory virus, they will expel some of the virus with each breath. If they are wearing a mask, especially an N95 mask or other tightly fitting mask, they will be constantly rebreathing the viruses, raising the concentration of the virus in the lungs and the nasal passages.
