If Time is going to feature a woman breastfeeding on its cover to foment attention for its magazine, Newsweek apparently isn’t going to sit still and allow Time to get all the attention.

On this week’s issue of Tina Brown’s Newsweek magazine, President Barack Obama is adorned with a rainbow halo, with the headline “The First Gay President,” an obvious play off commentary that former President Bill Clinton was “the first black president.”

The cover promotes the story by Andrew Sullivan, who admitted on his Daily Beast blog and on this weekend’s “The Chris Matthews Show” that the announcement was a very emotional one for him.

    This is Nominalism again. There are no universals. A concept can be anything anyone likes and therefore words can be whatever people want them to be. There is nothing stable. Everything is in Herclitian flux. Marriage is not something based on the natural law. There can be no natural law if everything is in flux. The result is legal positivism. What is to prevent a “marriage” between a man and a goat, a man and a microwave oven? What is to prevent a “marriage” between a woman and a cat, a woman and an “imaginary friend?” What is to prevent to a marriage between two dogs or two rocks or a rock and dog? In Nominalism and its offspring; legal positivism . . . you can never hit bottom. There is no bottom. Nominalism destroys hierarchy. Every idea is equal to every other. A word like “better” or “best” assume the existence of a hierarchy of universals. No universals . . . no hierachy. No hierarchy . . . no better or worse. No best or worst. Anything goes.
    In nominalism, who am I to say that marriage can not be a union of two pieces of Swiss cheese?

    I guess no one will comment because they are affraid to get SLAMMED. I am not and I am a STAUNCH CATHOLIC and believe MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN BETWEEN ONE WOMAN AND ONE MAN!!

    First of all I do not consider him as my PRESIDENT!!! I feel sorry for the MILITARY to serve a GAY GUY!!!! WE NEED TO KICK HIS a– OUT OF WASHINGTON. Also other CRAP HE AND BIDEN HAS DONE!!! Maybe they shoud get together and try to have BABIES HAHA!!! There has to be a CHANGE and get new blood to guide our NATION!!!!! NOT A BUNCH OF FAGS..
