IS IT TIME TO THINK OF THE ORTHODOX OPTION!!!

Is it time to rethink the Orthodox option?
Hello RENE HENRY GRACIDA,So much scandal in the Vatican. Such confusion, betrayal…and now Francis puts the world on notice that—despite pandemic, predator priests, food shortages, and global chaos—he wishes to add to the misery of millions by ruthlessly tearing out our greatest spiritual consolation, i.e., the Traditional Latin Mass of our youth.

Why? God help us, good question!

So, it should come as no surprise to any of us when the situation finally becomes unbearable, at least for some of us. I hear it all the time: “Get out!  The Catholic Church is wrong. Join the Orthodox!”

While I understand the sentiment, I fail to understand why anyone would suggest I should apostatize just because Francis is. I would die for the papacy, as any sincere Catholic would. Francis has not shaken my faith in the theology of the papacy.  In fact for every Francis, I can think of (and thank God for) a dozen Pope Pius X’s.

Why would we abandon the papacy over a bad pope or two? History is full of them. I don’t see it written in any creed: “I believe in the pope.” Or “I believe in Francis whom I must love with all my heart, mind, and soul.”  This is nonsense!

The Church is our castle under siege, and I have no intention of abandoning her just because Francis and his globalist friends have breached her walls.  Our job is to drive the moneychangers out of the temple, not let the moneychangers drive us out!

Bottom line: When God raises up another pope who will drive the evil men out of our Church, I have every intention of being right here in the Church of my childhood, holding fast to the Faith of my fathers.

Bad popes come and go, but the Church will last forever.

Please watch and share this RTV Short, especially if you’re tempted to leave the Church in search of greener pastures:

The New Blue Confederacy

How did the New North become the Old South?

and the New South the Old North?

By Victor Davis Hanson

American Greatness

November 21, 2021

Why are progressive regions of the country—especially in the old major liberal cities (e.g., Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle)—institutionalizing de facto racial quotas through “proportional representation” based on “disparate impact”? Why are they promoting ethnic and racial chauvinism, such as allowing college students to select the race of their own roommates, calibrating graduation ceremonies by skin color and tribe, segregating campus “safe spaces” by race, and banning literature that does not meet commissariat diktats?

Why are they turning into one-party political fiefdoms separating the rich and poor, increasingly resembling feudal societies as members of the middle class flee or disappear?

What does it mean that they are becoming more and more intolerant in their cancel culture, and quasi-religious intolerance of dissent, on issues from climate change and abortion-on-demand to critical race theory and wokeness?

Isn’t it strange that there are entire states and regions wholly reliant on the money and power of “one-crop” Big Tech monopolies? And why, in the 21st century no less, are Democratic-controlled counties, cities, and entire states nullifying federal law?

In archetypical “states’ rights” fashion, blue-state “sanctuary cities” are as defiant of the federal government as the Old South was when it claimed immunity from federal jurisdiction—all the way from the nullification crisis of 1830-1833 to George Wallace in 1963 blocking the door at the University of Alabama.

Ask yourself: in the decades following the conclusion of the Civil War in April 1865, how might the reunited American public have answered the following hypothetical questions:

·       One hundred fifty-six years from now, in the year 2021, where in the United States will Americans most likely discriminate on the basis of race?

·       Where will citizens squabble over the racial percentages of ancestral bloodlines, and schools admit or reject students in part on the DNA of an applicant?

·       Where will free speech and expression become most endangered?

·       Where will states’ rights boosters deny federal officers the right to enforce federal law?

·       Where will the major cities be the most unsafe and the middle classes the most embattled? And from which regions of the country will people flee, and to which will they migrate?

Of course, in the century-and-a-half since the end of the Civil War, we have become in a certain sense a homogenizing country. Gender studies programs at, say, the University of Texas are not that much different from those at Yale. The same types of homeless are found in downtown Atlanta as well as in San Francisco.

But there is a growing red state/blue state divide—encompassing an economic, cultural, social, and political totality. The public seems to sense that the blue-state model is the more hysterically neo-Confederate, and the red state the calmer and more Union-like. The former appears more unsustainable and intolerant, the latter is increasingly more livable and welcoming.

The people themselves are voting with their U-Hauls. After the Civil War and during the early 20th century, Americans left the South in droves to the wide-open new West and industrialized North. Now again they are packing up—but this time to get away from the bastions of old Union liberality. People are fleeing the bright lights and supposed cultural dynamism of old New York and Chicago and “enlightened” newer cities such as Los Angeles and San Francisco.

What once crippled the antebellum and postbellum Old South were obsessions with race that infected every aspect of life. Like the Soviet commissariat, such one-drop fixations ultimately stagnated social life and eroded economic efficacy.

After the war and following the formal abolition of slavery, the former Confederate states returned to many of their prewar racial pathologies, albeit with even more general poverty. Before the war, Southern life had increasingly bifurcated into a medieval society of rich plantationists who stocked the government and professions, and an impoverished white laboring poor class alongside African American slaves. There were few of the middle class, to speak of, at least in any sense comparable to the yeomanry in the North, who brought their values and autonomy ever more westward.

The antebellum worship of the King Cotton monopoly discouraged innovation. It made the plantation class perhaps the richest tiny minority in history, but otherwise impoverished most others around them. The South was a ranked society. Most knew their ossified place in the social hierarchy. Even their speech, expression, and comportment reflected that reality.

Universities and colleges in the North, in contrast for a while at least, evolved into places of intellectual inquiry, classical education, and enlightened science. Immigrants and Americans alike freely moved eastward, northward, and westward, but not so much to the land of postbellum Jim Crow, which represented economic stagnation and calcified racial obsessions.

Fairly or not, America’s 19th- and early 20th-century reputation for greater freedom of thought and equal opportunity were mostly identified with large bustling cities like Boston, Chicago, Detroit, New York, and their western clones such as Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.

But ask yourself — which cities today are most likely associated with lawless district attorneys who, as tribal bosses, ignore statutes and who indict or exempt criminals on personal and ideological whims? Where are crime rates most spiraling? Where is the greatest racial unrest? And where are the most homeless?

In contrast, where are taxes generally lower, but infrastructure as good as elsewhere or better? Why else would the middle classes, liberal and conservative alike, be migrating to Texas, Florida, or Tennessee and not to California, Illinois, and New York? A century ago, Americans associated the former with racial fixations, nullification, anti-enlightenment censorship, greater religious intolerance, and economic stagnation—and the latter with opportunity, live-and-let-live personal freedom, and efforts to render race incidental rather than essential to who we are.

The best example of the great reversal is the stark contrast between the Bay Area of California and Austin or Dallas. A near-majority of Bay Area residents expresses a desire to leave the state.

California’s public agencies and universities are obsessed with race and invest hundreds of millions of dollars establishing and defending de facto racial quotas in hiring and admissions, suing in courts to punish allegedly prejudicial victimizers and to reward prejudiced victims, and to squash free speech under the false charge of “hate speech.” It is a given in blue states that few in government question expensive efforts to address “climate change” or critical race theory, just as no one in the 19th-century South ever doubted the sustainability of one-crop Cotton, creationism, or the peculiar institution of slavery.

Silicon Valley emulates the power of old King Cotton — a monopoly that owns state government, one that destroys competition, censors, and smears its critics, and pours its money into elections not just to choose obsequious candidates, but to alter the very systems of balloting to ensure proper results. Like the “good ol’ boy” Old South, California is a one-party, boss-man state. Democrats, in Southern fashion, control all statewide offices, supermajorities in both houses of the legislature, and 75 percent of the congressional delegation.

Just as a few families and members of the plantation class ran a Louisiana or North Carolina plantation, so, too, California’s Bay Area bosses are mostly controlled by the regime of the Pelosis, Feinsteins, Newsoms, and Silicon Valley liberals, many of whom went into government rich, and got richer the longer they stayed.

Our current servile classes often live in cars and trailers parked on the streets outside the campuses of Stanford University, Google, and Facebook. A time traveler from the South of 1955 might dub their trailers “shanties”—given the absence of indoor plumbing, running water, or usable toilet facilities. There is little new housing construction, given that the entrenched one percent resist affordable home construction, as well as more investments in freeways, power plants, and oil and gas production. Few under 40 can afford even a modest home. Houses are mostly either inherited or the exclusive domain of the tidewater tech class. Just as the South once fought “internal improvements” and the genteel cotton baron resisted new development, so too the coastal affluent freeze their lifestyles and class privileges in amber, as they fight new industry and development that would elevate hoi polloi.

University administrators, human resources directors, and the media, like their Confederate counterparts, collude to sustain the system—demonizing and ostracizing any who question racial quotas and preferences, swerve from Democratic orthodoxy, doubt the sustainability and morality of the tech overlords, and who talk of class rather than racial categories.

In reaction, those from the blue state model who flee eastward and southward feel liberated that they can finally buy a house, sustain a viable middle-class existence, speak freely without a scold over their shoulder, and be rid of institutional dogmas that suffocate their schools and government.

We think the Old South lost the Civil War—but did it in the end?

That is, did the Union win the short-term battle to abolish slavery and save the Union, but lose the long-term war of ideas and values by adopting the very ethos of the long-defeated—even as vanquished Southerners reformed and gradually embraced the visions of the victors that the Northerners themselves would eventually reject?

In any case, in the 21st century, Tennessee and Florida are far less racially obsessed, freer, and more affordable, more transparent, more tolerant, and more law-abiding states than are the racially-fixated, stratified, manorial, and dogmatic surveillance states of California, Illinois, and New York.

Be ye…wise as serpents and simple as doves,” especially when out as sheep among the wolves (Mt 10:16). These days, the wolves are everywhere.

ONE PETER FIVE

To Be Wise as Serpents Against the Occult

 Michael J. B.November 22, 20210 Comments

As to the Why

We previously covered the ‘what’ aspects of the Occult: defining what it is or what it can mean, along with a wide variety of its applications. Now, we’ll tackle the ‘why’ as in, why does it matter? Isn’t it something to be avoided at all costs?

If so, no one told St. Irenaeus while refuting the Gnostics. There’s also key passages in Scripture that relay the point, such as: “Be ye…wise as serpents and simple as doves,” especially when out as sheep among the wolves (Mt 10:16). These days, the wolves are everywhere. They are much more sophisticated and well-hidden than ever before; and if Pope Benedict asked for prayers that he himself “may not flee for fear of the wolves,” it’s probably best to take Matthew 10:16 more seriously.[1] If we completely close our eyes to darkness, we might not be able to anticipate the threats to our families.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

However, an understanding of esoteric literature depends on the situation. Personally (i.e. a lay opinion), an avid understanding is not necessary for most people. Avoiding it altogether is likely a wise choice for a number of individuals as well. That being said, there are indeed some good reasons as to why understanding esoteric topics can be important. We’ll start with two prime examples.

The first is related to distinctions we made in our previous article. More specifically, the differences between conventional applications of the Occult––psychic mediums, fortune-tellers and soothsayers––in contrast to lesser known types––those built upon natural principles, psychology, and that typically shun the existence of preternatural forces––for the latter is much easier to integrate into so-called ‘secular’ society, and it generally disguises itself as objective science.

The second is that people who dive deeply into Western Esotericism are not likely to be pulled out unless someone understands the depths of its abyss…without falling into it themselves of course. Easier said than done, but when the abyss is opening up more and more with each passing day, we might as well be prepared.

Modern Iconoclasm and Occult Fascination

As society continues to break down, many will be (and have been) turning to some form of Occult spirituality, and Yoga studios are practically the new Masonic Lodge (not quite as fancy or sophisticated though). It doesn’t help either when rebukes against Occultism mainly come from a place of ‘Satanic Panic,’ one typified in Bible-thumping Evangelicals, however fair or unfair the caricature may be.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

One of the Occult’s biggest attractions––especially for those disillusioned with Protestantism and/or Western materialism––is its mysterious use of symbolism, art, and rituals. It also provides in-depth exegesis of ancient texts and expansive systems of typology that are far more interesting (to them at least) than the average Bible-study based on Scripture alone.

The ‘iconoclasm’ of the Vatican II era due to Protestant concessions left a vacuum to be filled. The Occult certainly fills this vacuum. Especially for those who would otherwise appreciate the depth of Catholic Tradition.

It offers all the ‘allures’ but with an objective standard by which to judge along with a historical grounding, all working on myriad of layers. Sadly, this has become lost amongst the typical Novus Ordo community (excluding the much-sought after ‘unicorn’ parish). This is not to disparage such well-meaning communities, but to be honest; for many people, something more is needed.

Much of what the New Age or Occult minded folks dislike about Christianity usually relates to a Protestant paradigm (e.g. the ‘Bible-alone’ or ‘believe-in-Jesus-alone’ types). Yet, they also tend to operate under an Enlightenment view of history, one that rails against the Catholic Church trapping us in 1,000 years of ‘Dark Ages.’Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

Ironically (or perhaps by design), the New Agers and Occultists rebel against a generic Christianity, while maintaining the same anti-Catholicism of the very Protestant traditions they are reacting against (i.e. Satan’s dialectical attack against the Church).

This is why a Protestant culture heavily influencing the Church is doubly-problematic. It fuels the Occult flame for those finding guitar Masses or comic relief hour at the pulpit unsatisfying, whilst driving them further into the realms of esoterica. All the while they believe that Traditional Catholicism is nothing more than an Inquisitional torture chamber designed specifically to accuse innocent Pagan-women of witchcraft. Ironically, the institution pitied those caught up in the witchcraft delusions more often than not, while the bulk of the European witch hunts occurred in areas where the Inquisition was not in operation[2] (dialectics at play again…).

All of this makes the Occult far more attractive than it otherwise would be if only the Catholic Tradition were allowed to be properly taught and understood; and, more importantly, absorbed and seen (e.g. Latin Mass, Baroque art, etc.). Especially without the ‘Dark Ages’ veil that the Enlightenment tossed over it. Sadly, this veil is often propped up by those inside the Church, and promulgated by those who’ve taken little effort to suppress Novus Ordo abuses while making great efforts to suppress the Latin Mass successes.

Exorcists and the Occult

If one absorbs even just a modicum of the vast amounts of material provided by Catholic exorcists, a common trend becomes readily apparent: that exorcism cases involving the Occult are almost always confined to overt preternatural practices; which (as we know) is just one side of the Occult coin. Usually, the individual is involved in some kind of active magic (e.g. drawing pentagrams or sigils in a circle, invoking spirits and the like). Or, they’re involved in another form of overt preternaturalism akin to ghost-hunting or divination via soothsaying (e.g. using Ouija boards to contact grandma, asking psychic mediums for roulette numbers, etc.). It’s pretty easy to identify these practices, as they are overtly condemned in the Holy Bible. Passages like Leviticus 20:6 come to mind.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

There’s also many stories by exorcists (or those assisting them) that speak to their dealings with witches or ‘Satanists.’ These are the types who overtly hate the Church and boast of some kind of allegiance to dark forces. They might attempt to steal the Blessed Sacrament from a Mass, only to perform sacrilege with it later (something Communion in the hand certainly enables), or they may cast hexes against a priest or a particular individual. There’s also various movements and cults that operate in a similar fashion and are diametrically opposed to Catholicism (e.g. Santa Muerte). Priests like Fr. Ripperger call these strands “Satanic” due to the participants willful allegiance to dark forces (whatever their conceptions of them may be).

May the Lord bless all the exorcists dealing with such forms, but this still mostly neglects the philosophic and psychological side to Western Esotericism. This particular head of the Dragon is much more subtle and difficult to discern. Fr. Ripperger uses the term “Luciferian” (in contrast to “Satanic”) to describe the underlying philosophical tenet of becoming “your own god.” These two distinctions are quite helpful. Yet, it may be confusing when people or groups use ‘Satanic’ imagery (upside-down pentagrams and the like) but operate under the mindset that it’s purely for shock-value to incite a reaction. They don’t believe in any such dark entities other than perhaps them being parts of the psyche (e.g. Crowley). Thus, they are actually ‘Luciferian’ because they have a will to power mindset or just believe in vague ‘forces of nature’ that they may harness for use however they choose to define them.

To them, it’s more about the psychology of the symbols and the powers of emotion they invoke, rather than the notion of any distinct supernatural deity associated with them. This is magic of a different sort, and it is found in advertising, media and politics. We witness it every day without hearing a single ‘WITCHCRAFT!’ accusation being alleged by Christians of any denomination.

The Confusion of Demons

The point is this: If someone is involved or interested in anything termed ‘Occult,’ and you’re trying to combat said ‘Occultism’ (or at least pull them out of it), simply throwing a ‘SATANIC!’ accusation-blanket over all things esoteric––Madame Blavatsky, Albert Pike, Carl Jung, or even Aleister Crowley––is quite problematic; especially if the enamored person happens to be well-versed in their ideas. In fact, such doctrines, writings and philosophies are specifically designed to make ‘Satanic Panic’ reactions look foolish. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, for that is exactly how you will appear to someone caught in the depths of these forms of esotericism. There’s not a chance in hell (pardon the pun) that they’ll take you seriously if you misrepresent their views in any mortal (vs. venial) fashion, or accuse Aleister Crowley of literally sacrificing children on altars fashioned for Beelzebub.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

But alas, the wisdom coming from Catholic exorcists derived from their encounters with psychic mediums and Eucharist-stealing hex-happy-witches still applies to the other side of the Occult coin. First and foremost, the fundamental solutions are the same: Sacraments, Sacramentals, prayer life, working towards a state of grace, etc. This applies to any situation, but getting someone there may involve very different paths. The second is that what is true of demons in the realms of activeOccultism (i.e. more overt) is true in the realms of what we might call passive Occultism (i.e. more hidden). More on this shortly.

Regardless of which side of the Occult coin you are dealing with, I highly recommend listening to exorcists like Fr. Chad Ripperger, who is able to masterfully combine both worlds of psychological warfare and demonology. I’d also recommend the book Slaying Dragons by Charles Fraune (also available in Spanish as Matando Dragones). He compiles many of Fr. Ripperger’s observations and teachings in his book along with many other respected and prominent exorcists in the Catholic Church. It’s easy to read, not too lengthy, yet quite detailed and thorough.

I would argue that the personalities of demons––as described by various exorcists––can even be seen in the pages of Occult literature, or what we’ve so dramatically termed ‘Satan’s Magisterium.’ But they come to the surface infrequently; they prefer to remain hidden if they can. However, certain topics (e.g. the Jesuits) or certain people (e.g. St. Cyril of Alexandria) tend to ‘trigger’ an overt reaction that quickly spills out onto the pages. Immediately, their enmity is brought up front and center to the surface, much like how exorcists determine if there’s a demon inside a person or not. Sometimes you just need to look for a particular trigger that is unique to the individual, though, often times they are unanimous. Here is a passage from Fraune’s work to better illustrate the point,

Demons seek to erode our faith, hope, and charity and steal us away from a state of grace. These temptations are typically subtle but are always crafty and coordinated with the [goal] expressly in the mind of the demon… This subtlety is reflected in how Fr. Fortea describes temptation. He says, ‘Demons tempt us by infusing thoughts into our minds. In other words, a demon introduces into our reason, memory, and imagination intellectual objects proper to our understanding that cannot be distinguished from our own thoughts.’ One of the keys here is that the temptation ‘cannot be distinguished’ from what we perceive to be our own thinking about an idea. If we cannot make that distinction, we are much more likely to follow the temptation (p. 35).

These concepts, although broad in scope, work on a myriad of layers, and stretch far beyond the ‘personalities’ that may influence Occult writers. When an 18-year-old coming from the ‘better sort’ of society ventures off to an expensive university and has all their ‘faith, hope, and charity’ stolen by Marxist-U––which teaches them there’s no such thing as sexual morality, that abortion is a right, and that their parents are inherently racist––what sort of demonic ideas are then introduced into the intellectual sphere with this rising crop of soon-to-be leaders? If their entire lives are oriented towards breaking Commandments as a ‘dogma’ (e.g. 6th, 5th, and 4th, respectively), how much more so does that open them up (legally speaking) to demonic influence (obsession, oppression, or even possession) that “cannot be distinguished” by most people? How do we distinguish what is typically understood as ‘religiously neutral’ science, business, politics, entertainment and media if the demons insert an Occult religion (i.e. Satan’s Magisterium) into such minds? Especially when these minds all tell us, ‘this is what experts say.’ For who are we to question ‘the experts’; that is to say, the gods of this world that will rule whenever Christ is dethroned from society.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

These are the very things we’ll be addressing in Christ vs. the Occult as we move forward. Hopefully the reasons as to the ‘why’ will become more apparent as we do. In our next installment, we’ll begin dissecting the passive Occultism found in radical Communism, and see how the so-called ‘godless’ system is far more religious than most perceive it to be.

Michael J.B. writes about the influence of the Occult on history, society, and how it crops up in some of the most unexpected places. Around 2019 he began a ‘Prodigal Son’ type return to the Church. He is now a Latin Mass enthusiast and Marian devotee. He’s also engrossed in the study of a wide variety of topics that unveil the enmity of the esoteric traditions – such as Freemasonry and Theosophy – toward all things Catholic. Last but not least, Michael is currently writing a book on the aforementioned topics, and is happy to be a part of OnePeterFive’s updated mission to unite ‘Unite the Clans.’

COVID and the Attack on the Youth

Peter Bleyer, MDNovember 22, 20210 Comments

Editor’s note: we welcome all submissions which seek to rationally analyze the COVID crisis and find a way to resist the Marxists. Please see the recently founded Holy Faith Foundation which helps Catholics financially who are resisting the mandate and suffering a loss of income.

In preparation for my class, I recently received an anonymously authored “Statement of understanding for parents, staff, and volunteers regarding COVID-19 protocols for the 2021-22 year.” It contained many of the now standard, largely unscientific rules on protection from COVID-19, with which I comply because of the necessity to teach the young about Catholicism. Particularly disheartening, however, because it is representative of the growing divisiveness between citizens in every country, even in the Catholic Church, was a standalone sentence, found under the title vaccination: “All children… are strongly encouraged, in consultation with their personal physicians, to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.”

With no reference to expert medical or ethical advice, it is inappropriate to “strongly encourage” vaccination, especially for children. And why exactly must my students, most of whom are too poor to afford one, consult with their personal physician? The anonymous, misplaced opinion statement, echoing the dictates of authoritarians in medicine and government, sadly reflects the exclusiveness and lack of courage inherent in Pope Francis’ leadership on COVID, and places an added and unnecessary burden upon young Catholics who have legitimate ethical and medical objections to receiving the vaccine.

Fighting COVID is a spiritual battle involving a medical disease. Common sense dictates that fighting an enemy requires unity, something not surprisingly, the enemy works to prevent. In my country, Americans are purposefully and maliciously being divided by the elite establishment, based on their ethically and medically legitimate decisions to either receive or not receive the vaccine. This destructive division has led to a crisis in trust for Americans as they struggle to learn about COVID. Not knowing whom to trust means not knowing what to believe, which leads to increasing fear, allowing those in authority to seize more power and wealth.

For Catholics of all ranks to join in this dissention rather than unify, is a sad commentary on our Church. As warriors in this battle, we should be able to honestly disagree on certain aspects of the overall strategy, while working closely and charitably together. If the Church truly wished to be inclusive, it would lead the world by using its collective medical and ethical expertise to collect and analyze data and publicly promulgate in a scientific manner, everything known and still unknown about COVID. It would answer questions, host honest debate, and highlight in the strongest possible way the importance of the Sacraments and universal prayer and fasting in fighting COVID. It could say, “The choice to receive or decline the COVID vaccine is an individual medical and ethical matter. Please discuss it with your parish priest and physicians. We recommend those eligible to receive the vaccine who are young and at low risk from COVID 19, those with natural immunity and those who may oppose the vaccine on ethical grounds, be allowed to donate the appropriated vaccine to those in greater need across the world.”Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

As a physician with 5 children, three still living at home, I have studied with particular interest the effects of COVID and the vaccine on the young. For our many students under age 12, the vaccine has just recently been approved by the FDA. Nonetheless, for all healthy children, it is my opinion that the vaccine risks appear to outweigh those of the disease. Review of the government’s own Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) as it applies to COVID, should be reviewed by all parents before consenting to the vaccine. Heart problems (myocarditis) in teenage boys and unanswered questions about the long-term fertility effects in girls, are enough reason for my wife and I not to allow our younger children to receive the vaccine. Moreover, considering the only approved vaccine (Comirnaty – not available in our area) bypassed the normal protocol for immunization approval, including dissolution of its vaccine control group, the failure to complete proposed long term studies, and refusal to hold customary public hearings, I maintain that this vaccine continues to be experimental.

Those encouraging the immunization should seriously consider their response to the family, who, as a result of this advice, may be affected by a cardiac problem today or a cancer diagnosis in 20 years. The government and enriched pharmaceutical companies have declared themselves protected from liability, which allows them to advertise these vaccines as being completely safe, and then callously deny requests for assistance from those suffering life changing side effects. Will the Church do the same?

Since facts have been difficult to ascertain and experience with COVID 19 remains relatively limited, honest and ethically driven physicians have widely varying opinions on the vaccine. Some physicians in favor of the vaccine (like Dr. Z) dispute the value of VAERS reporting, opining that the findings of harm are more likely coincidental than related to the COVID immunization. Yet others, including the prominent epidemiologist Dr. Peter McCullough and the WHO consulting group (Evidence-Based Medicine Consulting Ltd) maintain that significant risks with the vaccine do exist.[1]

Rather than more expert opinion, clarity could be aided tremendously with two simple actions. First, since money talks, the pharmaceutical companies could voluntarily open themselves to litigation from those who legitimately claim damages from the vaccine. If there are as few side effects as claimed, these companies have minimal financial risk. Second, case reports for each child that has died or suffered serious injury from COVID should be made publicly available in the same format as detailed VAERS data. (Unfortunately, the VAERS data is the best source of unfiltered data currently available to the public.) Not taking these two straightforward steps logically raises serious questions about the publicly reported safety and necessity of these vaccines for children.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

For some Catholics, including many in the clergy, the fact that aborted fetal cell lines have been used in bringing each of the vaccines to market is an ethical problem, and their reason for personal refusal of the injection. Bishop Schneider, for example, has steadfastly declined the vaccine as a means to stand against the regime of the unborn holocaust.  This witness to the lives of the unborn deserves praise and respect (see the previous post from OnePeterFive on His Excellency’s defense of religious exemption). Nonetheless the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, as well as the SSPX, have declared these vaccines to be licit. Thus, the decision whether to receive the immunization, based on the use of aborted fetal cell lines, is a matter for a well-formed conscience. To belittle or ignore those who choose not to take the vaccine because of its ties to abortion, as the statement in my catechism class did, is inappropriate, just as it would be for me to strongly discourage anyone from taking the vaccine, suggesting it was a matter of apostasy from the faith.

Nonetheless, above everything else, the most sinister aspect of this “strong encouragement” for the vaccine is its betrayal of our young people, who are being instructed to inappropriately ignore personal medical and ethical concerns, while I teach them that addressing these concerns is integral to the development of a well-formed conscience. COVID and abortion are fruits of the same tree. It is those who benefit politically and financially from abortion who seize every opportunity to instill fear and create hatred directed toward the unvaccinated, demeaning the humanity of the “anti-vaxers” in the same fashion with which they mercilessly persecute the unborn. While Joe Biden, the AMA and Planned Parenthood duplicitously claim that this hatred of the unvaccinated results from concern for human life, they continue to vociferously defend the right of a medical person to rip a baby apart and sell his pieces for experimentation. This bewildering message of intimidation is targeted primarily toward our youth.  As an old guy, my life is of minimal interest to the devil and the authoritarians, through which he wields his power. Ironically those who medically least need the vaccine are the ones who have the most to lose by refusing it.

The blind and zealous acceptance of the vaccine, which Biden demands as a prerequisite to free movement through society, is for me personally, a supplication before COVID –  today’s false god of wealth and power. For this primary reason, and as a firm believer in Jesus Christ and His grace through the Sacraments, I will face COVID without submitting to the current vaccines. With family financial security, good health, and living in South Carolina, it is admittedly easy to stand on principle; I am neither an Afghani Christian nor a young faithful Catholic trying to establish my livelihood in a hostile society.

Over the last month I have become depressingly aware of many young Catholics, who with nowhere to turn for help, understandably succumb to the anti-religious demands of secular society. A 20-year-old athletic and intelligent orthodox Catholic young man, attending the Naval Academy, who is ethically opposed to receiving the vaccine, was forced to sacrifice his Catholic principles and accept immunization in order to receive his commission. He will take an oath to support and defend the constitution against the same domestic enemies, who forced him to take the vaccine. When we celebrated the American Veterans Days (November 11th), I found it especially poignant that in my 30 years of Navy service, never have I witnessed such an immoral transgression of human rights, even against Islamic terrorists. His sister, a brilliant medical student at exclusive Johns Hopkins, who has natural immunity to COVID and is equally fervent in her Catholic faith, was forced to sacrifice her principles and take the vaccine in order to remain in medical school. The explanation given her from the elite of American medicine, demonstrated a flawed high school level knowledge of both natural immunity and basic medical ethics. My two oldest children are similarly being forced to accept this immunization, along with many others. After months of devastatingly limited access to the Sacraments, incessant false god revelations through Chinese handheld conforming circuitry (iPhones), and cowardly faith leadership, our young people, in great numbers, are ready to sacrifice their principles and religious convictions in response to immoral government demands. A religiously neutered and compliant younger generation is the dream of the left and ultimately the purpose of these vaccine mandates. How tragic it is, that rather than assisting these lost sheep, many in the Church are “strongly encouraging” more wolves to attack, by denying the legitimacy of their decision not to receive the vaccine.Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

It is not the elderly, many of whom have had long happy American lives tragically cut short by a few years, but the young who have suffered the greatest from COVID. Addiction, suicide, loss of education and new careers, failure of new businesses, and now loss of their individual liberty and freedom of religion; these are the largely ignored tremendous sacrifices the young have made to protect older Americans. Rather than suggest, as many Catholics have, that the young now have the additional ethical obligation to help others by risking their health with a vaccine of questionable safety and efficacy, I suggest we older Catholics have the obligation to sacrifice courageously for the young. Tragically, for the American Catholic Church, which treats COVID as a 2020 version of abortion, either fearful of the authoritarians who mandate worship of the evil, or uncaring of those who suffer from the evil, a feckless COVID solution, strongly encouraging acquiescence to the secular world, is the road we are on. It is the road away from Emmaus, upon which no courage or conviction is required and upon which the souls of our youth will wither. Pope Francis and all priests: it is time to walk the other way.

Senator Josh Hawley was subjected to howls of protest recently when he called attention to the sorry state of men in society. But he is right. “American men are working less, getting married in fewer numbers; they’re fathering fewer children. They are suffering more anxiety and depression. They are engaging in more substance abuse.” Biden has thrown men to the curb. Indeed, boys and men don’t count. A more sexist report than the Biden report “Gender Equity” would be impossible to find.

Why Does Biden Throw Men To The Curb?
November 22, 2021
Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on a Biden administration report on gender equity:
This fall the Biden administration released a remarkable document, “National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality.” Like most government reports it was read by very few, though its effects will be far-reaching. Touted as a groundbreaking report on the subject, its real groundbreaking status is the opposite of what its authors intended: it is the most sexist statement ever written by a presidential administration.
The hubris of the report is made plain on the first page. The authors actually have the audacity to compare their work to that of the Emancipation Proclamation. Their swollen heads are made even more risible when we consider the substance of their remarks. Boys and men don’t count. That is the inescapable conclusion that fair-minded persons will come to after reading this report. In fact, it is not a stretch to say that boys and men are depicted as the enemy, at least indirectly, and it is the job of the federal government to liberate girls and women from them.
In the real world, boys and men are the most likely to be victims of violence, typically victimized by other boys and men. This report, however, has nothing to say about this issue, though it does have much to say about violence. It’s just that the only victims that count are girls and women.
The authors speak passionately about the victim status of women, especially Native American women. They say that they “experience gender-based violence at higher rates.”
But wouldn’t that mean that Native American men are the problem, and wouldn’t that kind of charge have a tinge of racism to it, at least according to those on the Left? The authors get around this by saying that the violence against Native American women is “often perpetrated by individuals who are not Native American.” Often? Are we to believe that white boys are taking Ubers to Indian reservations so they can beat up on their women?
Similarly, we learn that over half of incarcerated women are black and that they represent a “disproportionate share of police arrests and police violence.” This is taken as an example of racism. It never occurs to the authors that these conditions are mostly driven by black women, not the cops, and that their high rate of interactions with the police are a function of the breakdown of the black family.
The sexually challenged—those who falsely claim to be a member of the opposite sex—are assigned a supreme victim status. The report makes mention of “nonbinary people,” when in reality they don’t exist. People are free to imagine anything they want—self-delusion is commonplace—but sentient adults who are honest are not obliged to ratify their beliefs.
As this volume makes clear, the number of sexually challenged persons continues to grow. Hence the acronym LGBTQI+.
Biden, we know, is okay with boys and girls of the opposite sex showering together in the schools, and that is why this report is so strong on insisting that boys who identify as girls—despite obvious genitalia differences—should be permitted to do so. Boys professing to be girls should also be allowed to compete in girls’ sports.
Biden is more radical in his support for abortion rights now than ever before, and this document proves it. He and his team are prepared to pull out all the legal stops to ensure that the “termination of a pregnancy” is as important a right as freedom of speech. He also wants the public to pay for it.
Girls and women are not only victimized by men: they are victimized by the weather. “Climate change presents unique threats to women, girls, and other underserved populations.” The report cites as an example “extreme heat, air pollution, and infectious disease exposure.” What allows the guys to escape these things is never explained.
If all of this isn’t enough to call into question the cognitive abilities of Biden and his administration, consider that there is plenty of evidence to suggest that it is boys and men who are the most underserved part of the population. A recent Pew survey found that “Young women are more likely to be enrolled in college today than young men, and among those ages 25 and older, women are more likely than men to have a four-year college degree.”
Pew researchers do not exaggerate when they say that “The implications of the growing gap in educational attainment for men are significant, as research has shown the strong correlation between college completion and lifetime earnings and wealth accumulation.”

READ THIS AND THEN BEGIN TO PRAY TO GOD THAT THE SATANIC PLOTTING ALREADY UNDERWAY TO SUBVERT THE NEXT CONCLAVE TO CONFORM TO THE DESIRES OF THE CORRUPT CARDINALS WHO DE FACTO SUPPORT THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROMOTORS OF THE LIBERAL/PROGRESSIVE WORLD RESET BE FRUSTRATED BY THE ACTION OF THE Holy Spirit

Above, the late Italian Jesuit cardinal, Carlo Maria Martini, who some called, during the early 2000s, “the ante-pope.” He died in 2012    ***     “The Shepherd of the Lord’s whole flock is the Bishop of the Church of Rome, where the Blessed Apostle Peter, by sovereign disposition of divine Providence, offered to Christ the supreme witness of martyrdom by the shedding of his blood. It is therefore understandable that the lawful apostolic succession in this See, with which “because of its great pre-eminence every Church must agree” (St. IrenaeusAdversus haereses, III, 3,2) has always been the object of particular attention.”—The opening words of Universi Dominici Gregis (“Of the Lord’s whole flock”), issued by Pope John Paul II on February 22, 1996. This is the legislation that currently regulates the election of Popes    ”And so in 1996, when the revolutionaries held him up as the next pope, Martini founded the St. Gallen mafia. Its glue… was not an idea but a person. The group’s spark derived from its opposition to Ratzinger, the right-hand man of John Paul II‘s conservative papacy… It was a program that surrendered to the dictatorship of relativism — and Martini should have been the pope to usher it in.” —Julia Meloni, The St. Gallen Mafia: Exposing the Secret Reformist Group Within the Church (2021), pp. 6-7    ”In the first audience which Francis conceded to me after that which I already mentioned on June 23, 2013, in which he asked me about Cardinal McCarrick, he asked me a similar question: ‘What is Cardinal Sandri like?’” —Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, in an open letter he wrote almost two years ago, on January 31, 2020, about Cardinal Sandri….    =======================    Letter #152, 2021, Friday, November 19: Conclave #1    In human affairs, there are always “issues.”    Different point of view, different opinions, and so then the formation of different groups, and factions, and parties, and alliances (we might even refer to them as “lobbies” or even as “mafias”), in order to carry forward a plan or common vision.    Of course, in the affairs of the Church, that unique community which Christ founded, there is, as we hope and believe, a fundamental and supreme source of unity, which is Christ’s Spirit — a holy source of unity not always, or even often, available in the ordinary affairs of men.    Yet we would be too naive if we were to imagine that human “issues,” human failings, human special interests, did not trouble and threaten the fidelity of even the Church herself to her Founder.    In this context, the very fact that Pope John Paul II wrote a very long legal text, Universi Dominici Gregis, to regulate in great detail, in even very minute particulars, the election of popes, would seem to be a solid proof that St. John Paul himself, from his post as the Church’s head, felt it to be his duty to do all that he could to diminish the possibility that worldly factions along with ordinary human weakness would enter into the activity of a papal conclave, and influence, or determine, the outcome.    The extensive legal text, clearly, was composed precisely to allow room, and to protect in every way possible that room, for the Holy Spirit.    It was written, likewise, to diminish the space of activity for any other spirit.    ***    In this context, an interesting new book has just been published by TAN books, entitled The St. Gallen Mafia: Exposing the Secret Reformist Group Within the Church, by Julia Meloni.    The book merits a careful reading, but for the purposes of this letter, I will focus on one point only: that there can be an “ante-Pope” (a figure who begins to act as a Pope “before” becoming a Pope), not just an “anti-Pope” (a person who illegitimately or invalidly acts as the Pope, though not actually the Pope, but standing over against the true Pope).    On page 63 of her book, Meloni writes that Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, S.J., (1927-2012) “was the ante-Pope” in the first years of the 20th century.    In those years, Meloni writes, progressive who dissented from traditional Church teaching were “only a manifestation of being ahead of the times, of anticipating some once and future pope.” (emphasis mine)    This “dream of a revolutionary pope was more than just a Jesuit idea,” Meloni continues, citing Italian writer Antonio Socci‘s Non è Francesco(“It is not Francis”) then adding: “Socci traces the dream back to Modernism — a heretical movement that believes, perhaps most essentially, that truth is not immutable.”    ”And,” Meloni continues, “according to Socci, the Modernists had long ago set their sights on the papacy itself. As Socci notes, the early-20th century ‘father of modernism,’ Ernesto Buoniauti, had a disturbing prophecy of a revolution from above. Change would come not from outside the Church but from within, from the Church’s highest echelons.”    Meloni sums up: “Now, the dream of presaging a revolutionary pope grew within Martini.”    ***    In future letters I plan to return to Meloni’s book and to Martini and to the St. Gallen mafia, and to the papal election of 2005 and 2013.    These letters will, if all proceeds as planned, become a new series I will call “Conclave,” and today’s letter is thus the first in the series: Conclave #1.    The purpose? To consider in the coming weeks and months a number of questions involving papal conclaves, and so to make a contribution to general knowledge of the matter in view of a future conclave.    For today, however, I wanted to turn back to an interesting bit of news from almost two years ago, when Cardinal Angelo Sodano retired as the Dean of the College of Cardinals (December 21, 2019), and was replaced by another cardinal, Giovanni Battista Re (on January 18, 2020; Re was the man who was in charge of running the 2013 conclave). Then Re’s vice-dean of the College of Cardinals was chosen, the man whose task it will be to guide a future conclave: Cardinal Leonardo Sandri…    And there was an article about Sandri that appeared at the time in the Italian press which seems worthy of bringing to the attention of our readers (see below).    And there was a statement made at that time by Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò which also seems important to bring to your attention (see below).    So this letter, the first in a new series, will simply supply these articles as among the materials to keep in mind as a future conclave is prepared. —RM    ***    #1. Italian article by Francesco Lepore from Linkiesta from January 27, 2020 (link)    The Legionaries of Christ and the Viganò dossier    ”If one Sodano retires, another is made”… A look at who is the new vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals chosen by Pope Francis    by Francesco Lepore    After the new provisions desired by Francis came the election of Leonardo Sandri by the 12 cardinals of the order of bishops. A key role: in the event of a new conclave, he will, in fact, lead it. But there are several shadows in his past    ”I hope they choose someone who will watch over this very important position full-time.”    The words pronounced by Pope Francis on 21 December, in announcing the resignation of Angelo Sodano as dean of the College of Cardinals and the reduction of his mandate from life to five years, were fulfilled less than a month later.
On January 18, in fact, the cardinals of the order of bishops elected the 85-year-old Giovanni Battista Re who, cardinal of the suburbicarian church of Sabina-Poggio Mirteto, also assumed the title of that of Ostia according to the provisions of 1150 by Eugenius III.
In place of Re, who until then had been vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals, 76-year-old Leonardo Sandri, Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, was elected on 24 January.    The news of the two elections was officially given on January 25 after confirmation by Pope Francis.
The choice made by the 12 cardinals of the order of bishops focused on two Wojtylians, both from the diplomatic corps and from the experience of substitutes for the Secretariat of State, yet clearly distant from each other.
Camillo Re, private secretary of Benelli under Paul VI, was Substitute from 12 December 1989 to 16 September 2000, when John Paul II appointed him prefect of the Congregation of Bishops and, on 21 February 2001, cardinal.    Nicknamed “His Efficiency” on the Terza Loggia [Note: where the Secretariat of State is located in the Vatican] for his pragmatism and ability to solve problems, Re was the shadow of the Secretary of State Angelo Sodano, who promoted him and chose in his place a person of proven trust, the Argentine Leonardo Sandri.
And it was this iron “Sodanian” who, as Sostituto, announced to the world the death of John Paul II on April 2, 2005, and who, during the next two pontificates, has climbed the top management level of the Curia unscathed.    On 9 June 2007, he was appointed Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches by Benedict XVI, who, on the following 24 November, created him a cardinal.    He has remained head of the dicastery in Palazzo del Bramante even with Pope Francis despite the rumors in the Vatican corridors that the relations between the two Argentines are not entirely serene.    He joined the order of bishops (among the cardinals) on the basis of the Bergoglian rescript of June 26, 2018, which extended its membership to the Secretary of State and to the Prefects of the Congregations for the Evangelization of Peoples, Bishops and of the Eastern Churches.
Sandri could thus participate in the election of the new Dean after the resignation of his protector (Sodano) and be elected, as mentioned, vice-Dean.    He thus finds himself holding a key role in the College, because until November 18, 2023 he remains a cardinal elector.    This means that, in the event of the Pope’s death, he will in fact lead the ensuing conclave, since Cardinal Re has already passed the age of 80 for almost six years (Re will turn 86 on January 30, 2020).
But Sandri’s name, like Sodano’s, has been the subject of gossip for some time.    And for the same reasons that seem to have led Pope Francis to accept his (Sodano’s) resignation and to reform the position of Dean of the Sacred College.    The Prefect of the Congregation of the Oriental Churches (Sandri) is in fact known for the closeness and open support, in previous years, to the Legionaries of Christ and to the Mexican founder Marcial Maciel Degollado, who, as revealed by a recent report drafted by the same religious congregation, allegedly sexually abused as many as 60 minors between 11 and 17 years old.
In this regard, Sandri is explicitly mentioned in the so-called Viganò Testimony (August 25, 2018), where it is said: “It is known that Sodano tried to cover up the scandal of Fr Maciel to the end, even removed the nuncio in Mexico City Justo Mullor who refused to be accomplice of his maneuvers to cover Maciel and in his place he appointed Sandri, then nuncio to Venezuela, well-disposed instead to collaborate.”
But not only. Because Sandri, appointed substitute of the Secretariat of State by John Paul II on September 16, 2000, who remained in that position also under Benedict XVI until May 10, 2011, is the one who supervised the laudatory speech delivered by Pope Wojtyla on November 30, 2004, during the audience with the Legionaries of Christ and the connected Apostolic Movement Regnum Christi. An audience granted on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Maciel’s priestly ordination, which fell on November 26.
On that day, the founder celebrated a thanksgiving mass in the basilica of San Paolo fuori le Mura in the presence of Cardinal Angelo Sodanoand numerous cardinals and bishops of the Roman Curia. The then-substitute Leonardo Sandri read the warm message of John Paul II, dated 24 November, and also prepared in the Secretariat of State.
As if that were not enough, Sandri’s name appears in the aforementioned dossier of the former delegate for the Papal Representations, Carlo Mario Viganò, as a person informed about the sexual abuses committed on adult seminarians and priests committed by Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. Who, as is known, was deprived of the purple and, subsequently, reduced to the lay state by Francis on February 16, 2019.
To complete the picture, the numerous first-hand information offered by Frédéric Martel in the book-investigation In the Closet of the Vatican, in which he speaks of a Leonardo Sandri sympathetic towards Videla, admirer of the regime’s slogan Dios y Patria, close to the most conservative Catholic currents and fierce opponent of liberation theology.
“According to the testimony of a Jesuit who was with him at the seminary,” Martel writes, “his youth was stormy and his ‘wickedness’ was known since the seminary. While still a teenager, ‘he surprised us by his desire to intellectually seduce his superiors and reported to them all the rumors about seminarians.'”
To this, the French sociologist (Martel) points out, we must add a certain worldliness, of which Sandri has shown in all the nunciatures to which he has been sent.    In short, if with the election of Re the hope formulated by Francis on 21 December last year seems to have been fulfilled, with the election of the “enemy” Sandri — as Martel calls him — that hope seems much less fulfilled.    (Below, Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, currently the man who would be in charge of running the next papal conclave)    #2. Article by Viganò from almost two years ago about Sandri (link)    Viganò Reveals the Friendship Between Maciel and Cardinal Sandri, Who Will Oversee the Next Conclave (link)    by Marco Tosatti    January 31, 2020Authorized English Translation by FromRome.InfoRead the original in Italian at MarcoTosatti.com    Dear Friends and Enemies of Stilum Curiae,     We offer you today an extremely interesting document from the ex-Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, regarding one of the recent nominations by the Pope: that of Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, as Vice Deacon of the College of Cardinals.     It will be Leonardo Sandri, who at 76 years of age, who will oversee in reality the functions of the Dean of the Conclave, Giovanni Battista Re, who being 85 years of age cannot participate.     It is a nomination which has stunned us, seeing that Leonardo Sandri was the Sostituto to the Secretary of State (then, Cardinal Sodano) when there was published the unsigned “note” in which it was affirmed there was no ongoing investigation against Marcial Maciel, the diabolic founder of the Legionaires of Christ.     Moreover, the good will of the reigning Pontiff towards Sandri is extraordinary. He has already completed two tours of duty of 5 years each, since 2007, as Prefect of the Congregation for Oriental Churches (and is in the middle of a third) and has completed 76 years, when 75 is already the limit imposed for heads of the Dicasteries and for Bishops.     But let us read what Archbishop Viganò has written:§§§The Faithful have the right to knowBy Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò    We have just been witnesses to one of the most indecent episodes where we have looked upon the work of the Prince of Lies intent upon falsifying the book of Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Robert Sarah, by covering them with ignoble insults and vulgar insinuations, by means of the actions of the papal prison guard, who is now serving as a hit-man.     And now again we find him to be involved in another masterpiece of trickery: the confirmation on the part of the Pontiff in the election of Cardinal Bishops and of the new Dean and Vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals.     These acts have passed unobserved, while they conceal a subtle strategy.     It is necessary to keep in mind, indeed, that in June of 2019, Papa Francesco increased the number of Cardinal Bishops, which had remained unchanged for centuries, by promoting 4 new ones at a single stroke.    In this manner he insured for himself a majority favorable to himself, a thing which he has always done with new members of the College of Cardinals.    To Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, named Dean at the age of 86, but excluded form the next Conclave, I wish a longer life than that of his father.    But his nomination is a cover for the more decisive one – that of Cardinal Sandri – who is now positioned to steer the next even Conclave secundum Franciscum, that is, according to the updated and augmented version of the Mafia of St. Gall.    With Cardinal Leonardo Sandri I am bound by a long friendship, which had its beginning in the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy, and then throughout 11 years in the same office as secretary to the Sostituto of the Secretary of State, and then 7 years of collaboration, from when he returned from a mandate as Nuncio to Mexico, after only 6 months, and was named the Sostituto.    Amicus Plato sed magis amica veritas — This maxim, attributed to Aristotle, and then taken up by Plato in regard to Socrates, and successively by Cicero, is explained in this way by St. Thomas Aquinasin his Sententia libri Ethicorum, Book 1, Lesson 6, nn. 4-5:    Quod autem oporteat veritatem praeferre amicis, ostendit hac ratione. In my own translation, it goes like this:    ”Then, that it be necessary to prefer truth to friends, is demonstrated with this reckoning. To him to whom one is more a friend there goes greater honor. Being friends of both, that is, of truth and of neighbor, we ought to love more the truth than our neighbor, because we ought to love the neighbor above all according to truth and virtue. Truth, indeed, is the most excellent friend to which one owes the reverence of honor. Truth is something of the divine, it finds itself in the first seat, and in its first principle in God. From which one must conclude, that it is something holy to prefer the honor of truth to friends.”    Moreover, what constrains me to write about Cardinal Leonardo Sandri is inspired solely by the friendship which binds me to him for nearly 50 years, for the good of his soul, for the love of the Truth which is Christ Himself and for the Church His Bride, whom we have served together.    In the first audience which Francis conceded to me after that which I already mentioned on June 23, 2013, in which he asked me about Cardinal McCarrick, he asked me a similar question: “What is Cardinal Sandri like?”    Struck with surprise by that question in regard to my dear friend, I did not reply out of embarrassment.     Francis, then, opened his hands and moved them up and down like scales — as if to say: “Which one is heavier?” — and he looked me straight in the eyes to see if I agreed.     In reply, I moved to confide in him: “Holy Father, I do not know if you know that the Nuncio Justo Mullor, President of the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy, was removed from the Apostolic Nunciature in Mexico because he opposed the directives coming from the Secretary of State aimed at covering for the grave accusations against Marcial Maciel.”     I said this to the pope, so that he might reckon it for an eventual remedy to the injustice which Mons. Mullor suffered for not joining in the compromise, for remaining faithful to the truth and for his love of the Church.     And this is the truth, which we reaffirm to the honor of this faithful servant of the Holy See, on the tomb of whom I celebrated a Holy Mass in suffrage, in the Cathedral of Almeria, Spain.    I have already written in my first testimonial that the principal responsible for covering the misdeeds committed by Maciel was the then Secretary of State, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the recent acceptance of whose own resignation as Dean of the College of Cardinals was tied to his being implicated in the affair with Maciel.     He, in addition to having protected Maciel, was certainly not outside of the loop in regard to the promotion of McCarrick … In the mean time, it is just that it be known that Cardinal Francis Arinze duly opposed himself, inside the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, to the attempt by Sodano to coverup the case of Maciel.    Unfortunately for him, even Sandri let himself be involved by Sodano in this coverup operation for the horrible misdeeds of Maciel.     To replace Mons. Mullor in Mexico City, it was necessary to name someone securely loyal to Sodano.     Sandri had already given proof as Assessor of the Secretary of Sate.    And so, the Nuncio in Venezuela, who was only there for 2 years, was transferred to Mexico.     Of these shady maneuvers, which the ones in charge qualified as normal events, I was a direct witness in a conversation held by them on January 25, 2000, the Feast of St. Paul, while we were on our way to the Basilica which bears the Saint’s name, for the closure of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.     The connection of these dates for the transfers is also significant: June 19, 2000, the transfer to Moscow of Mons. Giorgio Zur, after being President of the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy for only 1 year; February 11, 2000, the nomination of Mons. Justo Mullor as President of the same Academy, after having been only 2 and a half years in Mexico; March 1, 2000, the transfer to Mexico of Mons. Sandri after only 2 and a half years spent in Venezuela. Only six months after this, on Sept 16, 2000, Sandri was promoted to the position of Sostituto of the Secretary of State, as the right hand man of Sodano.    The Legionaries of Christ did not omit to show Sandri their thanks.     In the occasion of a pranzo held in the Paul VI Hall in honor of the Cardinals created in the consistory of Nov. 24, 2007, among whom was Sandri himself, we were left shocked when he cut in front of me as I stood in line to speak with Pope Benedict, as the Pope was making his entrance, saying: “Holy Father, excuse me, but I cannot stay for Pranzo, as I am the invited guest of 500 Legionaries of Christ.”    Look how Francis, after having repeatedly and obsessively indicated as the cause of sexual abuse a very vaguely defined “clericalism,” to avoid in this way denouncing the plague of homosexuality, has himself exhibited the worst kind of clericalism, which he has accused others of: to promote Sandri, the Cardinal-Priest in May 2018 to being Cardinal-Bishop only one month later, so that he might be able to name him as Vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals, as the candidate chosen beforehand by Francis to preside over the next Conclave.    The Faithful have the right to know of these sordid intrigues in a corrupt court. In the heart of the Church, it seems to us, there has invaded the shadow of the synagogue of Satan (Apocalypse 2:9).    + Carlo Maria Viganò    Arciv. tit. di Ulpiana    Nunzio ApostolicoThis is an authorized English translation of the Italian Originalfrom MARCOTOSATTI.COM

Scandals Swirl Around Pope Francis: Sex Abuse, Child Porn …– https://www.bishop-accountability.org › news2018 › 20.

-Updated November 24, 2017-

This week the National Catholic Reporter reported that Pope Francis created a new department for Cardinal Pietro Parolin’s Secretariat of State.

The Vatican expert John Allen at Crux said of Parolin “that there’s no single figure in Pope Francis’s Vatican today more trusted, or more powerful.”
(Crux, “More and more Parolin’s face of authority in Francis’s Vatican,” August 10, 2017)

The Reporter in the article didn’t reveal that one of Parolin’s top diplomats is “sought in Canada for child porn charges” according to CTN News.
(CTN, “Vatican diplomat sought in Canada on child porn charges,” September 29)

CTN’s article said that Monsignor Carlo Capella is accused of “accessing, possessing and distributing child pornography” in Winsdor, Canada.

“Capella’s boss” is Parolin who is head of the Secretariat of State. The monsignor was “a high-ranking priest… on the desk in the Vatican’s secretariat of state… before being posted in the U.S. embassy last year” according to the article.

It is a scandal that Francis’s most “trusted” and “powerful” collaborator Parolin has one of his top diplomats accused of accessing and distributing child pornography.

The Toronto Catholic Witness website revealed that Winsdor is a “gay tourist attraction” town where Capella is accused of accessing and distributing the child porn.

The website said Capella who fled to Rome is “under… “house arrest” (code for living in luxury in… Vatican City State).”
(Toronto Catholic Witness, “Carlo Capella: what was a Vatican Diplomat doing in small town Canada, distributing child porn?,” October 5, 2017)

The current Pope’s Vatican diplomat corp had another child porn and gay scandal in 2013 and 2014.

This involved the supposed “arrest” of Francis’s Vatican of accused paedophile Archbishop Josef Wesolowski.

Betty Clermont of the Dailykos.com on August 13, 2015 wrote:

“Had the trial taken place, testimony would have confirmed that the pope allowed Wesolowski to remain a free man for 14 months regardless of how many times the Pope said he was taking ‘action’ against prelates on the issue of sex abuse; and that during this time, Wesolowski acquired more than 100,000 computer files of pornography with disturbing photos of children who were likely victims of human trafficking.”

Journalist Clermont on September 28, 2016 in Churchandstate.org, in a follow up article reported:

“In August 2013, Pope Francis removed…Wesolowski for soliciting and engaging in sex with poor street boys. He did not notify the police or the public. A TV expose brought Wesolowski’s crimes to the public’s attention.”

“The pontiff left Wesolowski a free man until September 2014 when the Italian newspaper Il Corriere Della Serra reported that Wesolowski was arrested by order of the pope because “there was a serious risk that the nuncio would be arrested on Italian territory at the request of the Dominican authorities and extradited.” At the time, Wesolowski had more than 100,000 computer files of pornography…Images show youngsters…filmed naked and forced to have sexual relations with each other and with adults.”

“Even under house arrest in the Vatican, Wesolowski was still able to access child porn on his internet. Wesolowski died unexpectedly before his trial began.”

Not only are the Pope’s diplomats involved with porn, but also his closest collaborators.

Another porn scandal was Francis allowing, one of his closest collaborators, Cardinal Marx and his German bishops to continue in the porn business.

Marx and the German bishop’s huge porn publishing company sold pornography for over a decade. The bishops were rebuked by Pope Benedict XVI after he was informed. After the papal rebuke, the German bishops promised the porn business would be sold according to Lifesitenews.com articles on October 31 and November 23, 2011.

The blog Vox Cantoris on September 18, 2015 wrote that Cardinal Marx and the German bishops were still in the same porn business and Francis did not “call them out.” The blog asked:

“Why is Pope Francis blind to Germany’s rich and porn producing bishops?”

In 2016, Francis’s next x-rated outrage was appointing Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia to head the Pontifical Council for the Family. The papal appointee commissioned a gay neo-pornographic mural at his former cathedral which was called “blasphemous,” “disgusting,” and “demonic” according to Lifesitenews.com on March 15, 2017.

Finally, the most disgraceful porn and gay scandal:

Pope Francis appointed mural pornography commissioner Paglia to produce a sex education program which was released with the “apparent approval” of Francis on World Youth Day according to a March 6, 2017 article.

The article was written by psychologists Gerard van den Aardweg and Rick Fitzgerald on Lifesitenews.com.

Paglia’s sex ed program used porn “like” that used by “sexual predators.”

The psychologists stated that the Vatican approved and released the program called Meeting Point that “contained homoerotic and hetersexual pornography which was like that employed by adult predators of youth.”

The two experts said the porn predator-like program “should be withdrawn as soon as possible by the Vatican and its website closed.”

-Updated July 25, 2017-

Jesus said to St. Faustina:

“When you say this prayer with a contrite heart and with faith… I will give the grace of conversion.”

 This is the prayer:

“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.” (Divine Mercy Diary 186, 187)

Say this prayer every day for the general intention of the conversion of Pope Francis and that the courage of St. Paul be given to the dubia Cardinals.

The specific intention of the prayer is for Francis to answer the dubia questions of the four Cardinals. If he doesn’t answer soon then may a torrent of grace give the dubia Cardinals the courage to issue the correction.

In no way do I mean this request for prayer to dishonor Pope Francis. I do not want to commit the sin of railing.

I honor the Office of Peter that he holds.

St. Paul honored St. Peter, but when he clearly witnessed Peter manifesting error and confusion on the infallible teachings of the Church by his actions & words, he “rebuked” or corrected him for the good of the first Pope and the Church.

As in the time of Paul, it is now very clear that Francis is manifesting error and confusion on the infallible teachings of the Church by his actions & words.

In this website, I have tried to present the evidence in a straight forward manner without polemics although sometimes I implicitly used humor.

I may have used and I have quoted others who used a tone that could be considered harsh, but not, I believe, different from the tone Paul used on Peter.

Please read the posts in this website for clear evidence of Pope Francis’s errors.

Please remember what a great priest in our present troubled time said:

We get the leaders we deserve. What have we done to preserve the Catholic faith? Have we prayed and practiced our Catholic life? Or do we just talk about it? In that case we get what we deserve.

Please pray and practice your Catholic faith for your sake, for your family and friends sake and for the Church.

Pray especially for Francis and Cardinal Burke & the dubia Cardinals.

The most reliable Vatican expert in the world Edward Pentin reported on why it is of the upmost importance to pray for the Pope:

“Whatever the exact truth behind the lurid and disturbing story, it has further exposed such gravely sinful behavior taking place in the Vatican that one senior member of the curia says has ‘never been worse.’”

“According to reports in the mainstream media, Vatican police broke up a drug-fueled homosexual debauched party in an apartment of the Holy Office, but how true is it?”

“The news first broke in a June 28 article in Il Fatto Quotidiano…”

“The article’s author, Francesco Antonio Grana, says Pope Francis, whose Santa Marta residence is just 500 yards from the Holy Office, was aware of the raid and knew of the monsignor’s capture…”

“In the meantime, a reliable senior member of the curia has told the Register that he has heard from “multiple sources” that the story is true, including from another senior curial figure.”

“He said the extent of homosexual practice in the Vatican has ‘never been worse…’”

“The precise details of the reported events in the CDF therefore remain open to question, but the substance of the story appears to be true. If so, many would find such behavior taking place in the Holy Office not only unconscionable but also highly sacrilegious…”

“In light of the latest scandal and the current situation, one former official urged readers to recall the warnings of the Lord on homosexual acts, especially between priests, as explained by St. Catherine of Siena in her Dialogues written as if dictated by God Himself.”

“The medieval mystic, co-patron of Rome and Doctor of the Church, relayed the words at a time when a number of clergy had fallen into grave sin.”

“Such priests, the Lord told St. Catherine, not only fail from resisting their fallen nature, ‘but do even worse as they commit the cursed sin against nature [homosexual acts].’”

“’Like the blind and stupid having dimmed the light of the understanding, they do not recognize the disease and misery in which they find themselves,’ the Lord continued, adding that it not only causes God ‘nausea, but displeases even the demons themselves, whom these miserable creatures have chosen as their lords.’”

“He added that ‘this sin against nature is so abominable that, for it alone, five cities were submersed, by virtue of the judgement of My Divine Justice, which could no longer bear them.’ The Lord told St. Catherine that even the demons are ‘repulsed upon seeing such an enormous sin being committed.’”

“As a remedy, St. Catherine recounted the Lord saying:

‘Never cease offering me the incense of fragrant prayers for the salvation of souls, for I want to be merciful to the world. With your prayers and sweat and tears, I will wash the face of my bride, Holy Church. I showed her to you earlier as a maiden whose face was all dirtied as if she were a leper. The clergy and the whole of Christianity are to blame for this because of their sins, though they receive their nourishment at the breast of this bride.’”

Pray an Our Father now for reparation for the sins committed because of Francis’s Amoris Laetitia.

Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church as well as the Triumph of the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.

Francis Notes:

– Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:

“[T]he Pope… WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.”
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

Saint Robert Bellarmine, also, said “the Pope heretic is not deposed ipso facto, but must be declared deposed by the Church.”
