General Mark Milley – who participated in secret phone calls with Chinese military leaders while pledging to not carry out then-President Donald Trump’s orders – revealed he “hesitates” to call China an enemy, insisting he trusts the Chinese Communist Party to be forthright with its military ambitions in remarks unearthed by The National Pulse.

Milley – who used a treasonous backchannel to inform Chinese Communist Party officials that he would alert them ahead of U.S. military actions – divulged his view of the regime while speaking at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) Land Warfare Conference in 2017.

“I would hesitate to call China an enemy. Some would say adversary. Others would say enemy. Some would say hostile. I think they are what the slide implies.”

Speaking about his worldview regarding China, Milley admitted “that is a construct, though, that we use, that I use within the United States Army” at the event which he noted had Chinese Communist Party military officers in attendance.

“There’s a lot of commonality, areas of common interest.”

In addition to his rejection of the belief that the Chinese Communist Party is not an enemy of the United States, Milley also reveals he takes the regime “at their word” concerning their military ambitions:

The Chinese military is clearly and unambiguously developing a very modern, capable military. Why are they doing that? The Chinese have their own reasons, but they have clearly published it in unclassified documents. I believe them. I take them at their word. I believe the declaratory policy, that they want to assert themselves and be a co-equal partner with the United States on the global scene and they want to dominate the region in general and assert their historical rights.

The Chinese Communist Party has run influence operations across the United States and Europe for decades, culminating in the bribery of public officials, as well as outright propaganda successes.

1972—In Abele v. Markle, a divided three-judge district court rules that Connecticut’s recently re-enacted abortion law is unconstitutional.

Judge Jon O. Newman’s majority opinion is said to have considerably influenced Justice Blackmun’s opinion four months later in Roe v. Wade, and the two opinions do indeed share glaring defects. Newman contends that it is merely a matter of “personal judgment” whether the human fetus is a human being from the moment of conception or is “merely a mass of protoplasm,” and “not a human being in any sense,” “until it is born.” In a stunning display of confusion, he even posits that the “unfertilized egg” (emphasis added) has the same capacity as the human fetus “to become a living human being.” And in dictum he suggests that the “concept of viability” identifies when the state interest in protecting the lives of the unborn might be sufficiently weighty (because able to “be shown to be more generally accepted”—whatever that means) to allow a general bar on abortion.

In dissent, Judge T. Emmet Clarie observes (among other things) that the Connecticut legislature “was undoubtedly aware that biologists, fetologists, and medical science commonly accept conception as the beginning of human life and the formation of an individual endowed with its own unique genetic pattern.” As he aptly puts it:

It is nothing less than judicial usurpation of a legislative prerogative to decide that at one point in fetal development, through an obscure process of legal metamorphosis (in this case, the degree and quality of ‘public acceptance’) the state may constitutionally protect fetal life, but that prior to such point in time, the state may not protect what it also regards, with substantial popular and medical justification, as human life.

Texas Abortionist Seeks Test Lawsuit Under Heartbeat Act

In a Washington Post op-ed, Alan Braid, an abortionist in San Antonio, says that he recently “provided an abortion to a woman who, though still in her first trimester, was beyond the state’s new limit” under the Texas Heartbeat Act. He says that he did so in order “to make sure that Texas didn’t get away with its bid to prevent this blatantly unconstitutional law from being tested.”

For three reasons, no one should sue Braid to give him the imagined test case that he is seeking. In ascending order of importance:

1. It’s not at all clear that Braid is actually admitting to have violated the Act. He states that the Texas Heartbeat Act “virtually banned any abortion beyond about the sixth week of pregnancy” and that his recent abortion “was beyond the state’s new limit.” But rather than imposing a time limit, the Act forbids a physician from “perform[ing] or induc[ing] an abortion on a pregnant woman if the physician detected a fetal heartbeat for the unborn child.” (Emphasis added.) I don’t know whether Braid’s language is cagey or sloppy, but it leaves open the possibility that he conducted the required test for the fetal heartbeat but did not detect one. Indeed, his abortion clinic maintains that it is “compliant” with the Act and therefore “cannot provide abortion services to anyone with detectable embryonic or fetal cardiac activity.”

2. It makes no sense for a private person to bring a civil enforcement action under the Act against Braid or any other suspected violator until the Supreme Court has overruled Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. Until such overruling—which ought to happen by the end of June 2022—a lawsuit is bound to fail. (To be clear, it’s not that the Act is actually unconstitutional; it’s instead that it conflicts with the flagrantly unconstitutional holdings of Roe and Casey.) The Act provides a four-year statute of limitations, so there is no point in racing to court before that overruling occurs.

3. In its complaint against the state of Texas, the U.S. Department of Justice contends that private persons who enforce the Act are “agents” of Texas. That contention, which is likely to fail under Fifth Circuit precedent, opens the way for DOJ to bring civil and criminal actions against private civil enforcers for acting “under color of law” to deprive individuals of constitutional rights. Indeed, law professor Laurence Tribe has specifically recommended that DOJ do so. Rather than sue now and expose oneself to those risks and the costs of defending against them, a private enforcer would be far more prudent to wait until DOJ’s action against Texas has failed.

All that said, Braid is wrong to imagine that a “test case” would give him or other abortionists any meaningful relief. What is deterring them from providing post-heartbeat abortions is the prospect of crushing liability for damages for abortions done between now and the time that Roe and Casey are overturned. Even if Braid were to win a lawsuit against him (as I expect he would) for his recent abortion, that victory would do nothing to alter that prospect. The court couldn’t enjoin any of the millions of other potential private enforcers from filing lawsuits down the road. Indeed, Braid would remain liable to another private enforcer even for that same abortion. (The Act makes explicit the ordinary rule that claim preclusion would not operate against persons who were not parties to the first case.)

Twitter has yet to tell me exactly why I was kicked off its platform and blocked from sharing this well-sourced information with my 145,000 followers.

Twitter went so far as to deplatform me and then slander me across the globe: news reports mis-stated—via a Twitter spokesperson—that I’d been deplatformed for “vaccine misinformation.”

Democrats blocked from including immigration reform in spending bill

The decision shuts down one path for moving forward on contentious immigration issues.

The Senate parliamentarian on Sunday rejected Democrats’ push to include a pathway to legal status in their social spending plan, a blow to the party’s efforts to enact immigration reform.

In the decision, a copy of which was obtained by POLITICO, the parliamentarian determined that the Democrats’ proposal is “by any standard a broad, new immigration policy” and that the policy change “substantially outweighs the budgetary impact of that change.” 

While Democrats previously vowed that they would pursue an alternative proposal should they disagree with the ruling, the decision from the nonpartisan Senate rules arbiter likely closes the path forward for providing legal status through the so-called budget reconciliation process, which allows Democrats to sidestep a filibuster.

With bipartisan immigration talks stalled, Democrats widely viewed the social spending package as their best chance to enact immigration reform. 

In their arguments before the Senate parliamentarian, a former immigration attorney, Democrats made the case that providing green cards to an estimated 8 million Dreamers, farmworkers, Temporary Protected Status recipients and essential workers during the pandemic had a budgetary impact because it would make more people eligible for certain federal benefits. That, in turn, would increase the deficit by more than $130 billion, according to Democratic estimates.

But the parliamentarian in her ruling stated that providing legal status through reconciliation would also lead to “other, life-changing federal, state and societal benefits.”

Providing permanent legal status “would give these persons freedom to work, freedom to travel, freedom to live openly in our society in any state in the nation, and to reunite with their families and it would make them eligible, in time, to apply for citizenship — things for which there is no federal fiscal equivalent.”

In addition, the parliamentarian rejected arguments from Democrats that there is a precedent for including immigration reform in reconciliation. Democrats frequently pointed to a 2005 GOP-led reconciliation bill that addressed a visa backlog. 

The parliamentarian, however, noted that the 2005 bill was “the product of a bipartisan agreement” and that the provisions “are distinguishable as they applied to persons who were already admissible and not barred under law from applying for status, which is not the case here.”

”In this day, men allow false ideas to take root among them. But this will be death for those who entertain such notions. For a great treasure, a great deposit, has been given unto man and must be guarded with care. And this great treasure must be shown to be intact and the same when an accounting is demanded by the Master. But when false ideas come from the Pope himself, what they can be done – for it was the Pope who authorized me to take action against heresy; but would a pope authorize action against himself? Therefore, something is amiss, and we can gather what it is that is the “something amiss.” For what has been hinted at, although cleverly, leaving much in the dark and only a little exposed, is that the divine Logos cannot be at once divine and human. And by this idea put forward, they have adulterated our faith. 

Unless God had become human while remaining eternal God, and unless He had become human while still being God unlimited, then what hope would there be for man to be able to dwell with God? The timeless God chose to engage with men of time, and thus God who was and is of omnipotent power chose to suffer and to die. This did not require God to cease being God, but rather God who did not cease from being God chose to express Himself in this way and therefore by a divine act became one while remaining the other. It must be understood that Christ had two perfect natures, human and divine, while on earth, and that he put not one aside in order to take another.

It is a most clever lie by that great serpent to interject in the midst of what seems to be sound doctrine a denial of the unity between divinity and humanity in Christ, for by doing so man is lost for there can be no crossing of the chasm between God and man. And yet this is exactly what shall be proposed in these coming days amidst the cry for unity and inclusion. But be aware of the real motive.

For when men desire to live in sin and to escape condemnation then they wish to separate the two natures of God. For if God is all divine, but not all human then the two natures need not merge in man either. But instead man can pray to a divine God while remaining in bondage to the flesh, and he need not merge the two, thus living in sin while paying homage to God. But this clever lie of Satan leaves man in a fallen state, for if the divine God has not by an act of His divine will chosen to become truly flesh while remaining truly God then the chasm cannot be crossed and man is lost. And if God has not performed what was impossible to man, then it is not possible for man to have communion with God. And therefore the Holy Eucharist would be without power but instead would be only a physical symbol of an omnipotent God. I tell you this so that this might not come upon you while you are unaware. For the object of the serpent is to make man believe that God by His very nature could not become man, and thus the Holy Eucharist cannot be offered to man and yet be God. 

But the Only Begotten Word, in fact, was born of a woman in the way of the flesh while remaining God and thus honored our nature in light of the divine.  And His birth, from a woman in the way of the flesh, while He remained God is part of this great mystery to save the human race. Only could One who knew not death, destroy death, and only could He destroy death by choosing to take on death.

When they begin to say it plainly — that the Word of God did not become flesh and did not undergo birth from a woman, then they will have adulterated the faith. For if Christ who was rich became not poor out of tender love for us, then we have not gained the riches He promised but instead still abide in poverty. For if He became not flesh, then death still has dominion over us, and sin still holds us bound. 

Be aware that this will indeed be taught, and then will it also be denied that Mary is the Mother of God. Instead she will be relegated to the Mother of the Man. But this will be blasphemy for it is a denying of the complete nature of Christ and of the vehicle in which He chose to gain flesh, and thereby they deny the Incarnation.

These things will come about at the hands of evil men and by special design of one who occupies a throne that is not his. It is a denial of Christ, the Son of God, who was made man and, incarnated, was equally God and man. 

But those who are the spawn of Satan will teach that God formed a man, took him through suffering and death, and then joined him unto Himself so that one nature existed separate from the other nature. But this is an abomination and denies any hope for man for how then will man receive Christ and be raised? And how then is Christ the Savior of the World? 

Be aware that in this manner will the deposit of faith be attacked. Be aware that there will be those who will say that a man died and came back to life who was not truly God, but would the angels have stood in service before such a man, and where then came the power for him to take back his life? This is blasphemy – that God brought forth a man with the appearance of God, but who was not indeed God. 

Be aware that when those who are enemies of the faith teach that the Word of God did not become a man then therefore we will reason – how can we then be saved? And then you will see the final act. For these two natures are not separated but instead are joined in an indissoluble union. For the Word has changed not into something He is not but instead has made the human nature His own, and therefore He is at once God and man. We cannot conceive of this union, but by faith we accept that it is so, and thereby it is our hope and our assurance. 

What Christ has done is a self-emptying for as it has been said – no man takes His life from Him – for even though He was born of flesh He ceased not to be God, and therefore only He could lay it down.

Christ is indeed God even when becoming flesh. And therefore He was able to rise effortlessly from death: So it is that the Lord of Glory abased Himself to take on the destruction of death and the banishing of sin by appearing as we are and choosing to make His body subject to death and suffering in His own flesh. And of His flesh He said, “I am the living bread, and anyone who eats this bread shall live forever.” 

There is only one God. Our Lord Jesus Christ has existed before all time, but even so He consented to be born of a woman. And she is indeed the Mother of God. 

When they tell you these things are not so – then will the pillars be knocked out from under you, and the great heresy will cover the world.”

Mask On, Mask Off

In the movie The Karate Kid, martial arts master Mr. Miyagi agrees to teach karate to a bullied teenager, Daniel LaRusso.  But when Daniel shows up for lessons, he’s put to work.  He’s made to wax a fleet of cars, sand the deck, paint the fence, the house. 

After a grueling few days, Daniel loses it, says he’s tired of the BS, and stomps off.  But Mr. Miyagi calls him back.  He has Daniel go through the moves to wax, sand, and paint. 

Then Miyagi says: “Show me wax on, wax off.”

Miyagi throws punches and Daniel finds that the same moves used to wax the car serve to block the incoming blows.  Now Daniel understands that the work was his training.  The repetition required for each task ingrained moves that translate to karate skills. 

Today the globalists use similar tactics — blind obedience and repetition — to train the American people.  They issue an order, mask on, then rescind the order, mask off.  Then again, mask on, mask off. 

A great example is the Pennsylvania school mask policy.  At first, masks were optional.  So, the children start their school year free from the bacteria-ridden gags.  Then, wham! 

On Tuesday Aug. 17, the Bucks County Health Department updated its guidance for school districts, recommending that school officials require masks for all students when they return to class.

The health department has no authority to order masks; it can only make “recommendations.”  But for those who defy the “recommendations,” there’s an official-looking “order” from the secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health “requiring” universal face coverings.

I know it seems a bit odd for a secretary of anything to issue orders, but the secretary’s intervention was necessary after Pennsylvanians stripped Governor Wolf of his emergency powers imposed during the COVID-19 outbreak. 

But an order’s an order, and many reflexively respond by masking up the kids, consequences be damned. 

• “A year of mask-wearing will scar some of them [kids] psychologically.”
• “Masks can be breeding grounds for infections from bacteria, mold and fungi.”

The bacteria are actually a threat to all ages.  In fact, Anthony Fauci co-authored  a paper stating that “the majority of deaths in the 1918–1919 influenza pandemic (Spanish flu) likely resulted directly from secondary bacterial pneumonia.”

State media immediately blanketed the airwaves with denials that Fauci had implied that masks cause bacterial pneumonia.  After all, it can’t have anything to do with the fact that bacteria do collect in masks.  And it’s just a coincidence that masks were mandated during the Spanish flu and bacterial pneumonia, not influenza viruses, was the greatest cause of death.

But there I go again, questioning the veracity of our dear leaders when I know full well we’re not allowed to question any part of this medical and government tyranny. 

• Can’t question why this vaccine is so necessary against a virus with a 99%-plus survivability rate for most age groups.  
• Can’t question why kids can’t breathe fresh air, have to wear bacteria-ridden masks seven hours a day when they’re not at risk from the COVID virus. 
• Can’t question why children “should be endangered through mass vaccination against a disease not dangerous to them.” 
• Can’t question why those with natural immunity, which is far more effective than the vaccine, are still required to take a vaccine that can harm them.
• Can’t question why the government and its corporate and medical allies are forcing an experimental vaccine approved only for emergency use without proof of an existing national emergency. 
• Can’t question why people are being forced “to take a vaccine against an extinct virus.” 

No, there can be no questions, no argument, no resistance to the training.  As Mr. Miyagi told Daniel: “First, we’ll make a sacred pact.  I promise to teach you karate.  That is my part.  You promise to learn.  I say you do, no questions.  That is your part.”

Americans were also entered into a sacred pact with globalists, though, unlike Daniel, Americans didn’t ask for this training.  Yet the unwritten pact is in place, our rulers promise to keep us safe from illness and, in return, we learn to be obedient serfs in the new world order. 

The lessons are on.  We’re taught to wear masks, stay home, stand back, lock down, take the jab, take the booster, show your papers.  That is their part. 

They say we do, no questions.  That is our part. 

Now show me mask on, mask off.
