Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on the results of a new Gallup poll: Gallup has been tracking values and beliefs for many years, and its latest survey reveals that Americans continue to be dismayed with the state of moral values. Indeed, more than 84% call them “only fair” or “poor,” and two-thirds believe conditions are getting worse. Interestingly, the way Republicans and Democrats see things are demonstrably different, the former being much more critical than the latter. A record-high 66% of Republicans say our moral values are “poor” and 92% believe matters are getting worse. Yet only 30% of Democrats think our moral values are “poor” and just 49% say conditions are worsening. In previous surveys of this nature, such as the one Gallup did in 2007, it asked about specific moral concerns. For example, it asked respondents if they morally approved of such issues as the death penalty, gambling, buying and wearing clothing made of animal fur, doctor-assisted suicide, abortion, homosexual relations, and so on. The latest poll takes a more macro approach, thus making it somewhat more difficult to analyze. The poll’s results suggest that both Republicans and Democrats are at least somewhat guided in their response by who the White House occupant is. Thus, under Trump Republicans were not as pessimistic as they are now under Biden; the reverse is true for Democrats. However, there may be more in play than just this factor. It is plausible to assume that among the reasons why Republicans are less happy about the state of our moral values are such issues as crime, race and sexuality. Homicides have risen sharply across the nation, and in some cities they are at record levels; urban riots have also plagued the nation. Critical race theory in the schools, along with the transgender agenda, have generated even more concerns. To be sure, Democrats are not happy with surging crime rates as well, though it must be said that it is in cities run by left-wing members of their party where the situation is most out of hand. Moreover, critical race theory and the transgender movement are viewed in a mostly positive light. No doubt there are issues where both sides could come together. Road rage, texting while driving, rudeness, belligerence, self-centeredness—these are just some moral issues where a partisan split is unlikely. President Biden was elected, in part, because he said unity was his goal. But it is hard to see how this can be achieved when those fomenting division remain largely unaccountable. Perhaps the real question is how much unity really matters.
Left to Right: Bishop John Smith, then Archbishop Theodore McCarrick and Bishop James McHugh, 1988

Time Lost Can Never Be Regained [Click for Part 1 and Part 2]
There’s a saying that, “History repeats itself,” which is true enough from a macro-point of view. But history never repeats itself exactly the same at the micro-level. The characters and the timing, circumstances, etc. are always different.
The early Prolife Movement, composed primarily of Catholic lay men and women (unpaid) with the support of local pastors, had its best and perhaps only shot at stopping legalized abortion (including abortifacient drugs and devices) BEFORE Griswold vs Conn. and Roe vs Wade. Tragically, it’s a shot that likely will not pass our way again, barring Divine intervention, thanks to the American bishops who placed their trust in men like McHugh and Bernardin.
Long after the SCC debacle was just a fading heartbreaking memory, the betrayals of the Prolife Movement by McHugh continued unabated. With rare exceptions like Cardinal Patrick O’Boyle of Washington, D.C., and New York Auxiliary Bishop Austin Vaughn, no American bishop sought to dethrone McHugh as their official spokesman on family and prolife issues.
Prolifers Lose Battle Against March of Dimes
Man is not an animal by nature;
the table not a feeding trough,
and the home not a biological experimental station.
Fr. Gerrard dubbed radical eugenics doctrine as “a complete return to the life of the beast,” which described the beliefs of Catholic bishops and clergy on the creed of eugenics at the turn of the 20thcentury in America.
A half a century later, McHugh was able to turn that opinion on its head.
The most intense battle against eugenics, specifically eugenic abortion, – the cold, calculated slaughter of unborn children suspected of carrying a genetic disorder or physical or mental handicap – took place within the context of an epic-making 30- year long prolife battle against the National Foundation/March of Dimes (MOD).
Using his usual modus operandi of stealth, deception, duplicity and secret memos to the American bishops, McHugh, an Advisory Board member and willing and enthusiastic champion of the MOD, defended the well-documented anti-life activities of the eugenic-based organization which included the promotion, research and funding of non-therapeutic amniocentesis and fetoscopy, lethal live human fetal experimentation, the development of abortifacient devices, classroom sex instruction, lobbying for expanded, federally-funded eugenics research and services, etc., etc., etc.[2]
Not even when the U.S. Coalition for Life headed by this writer exposed a MOD research grant of $9,240 grant to Peter A. J. Adam of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland to study fetal brain fuel metabolism at the University of Helsinki, Finland – research that involved the severing and perfusion of heads of live aborted babies, ages 3 to 5 months gestation delivered by hysterotomy – did a single American bishop repudiate McHugh’s backing of the MOD.[3]
In the fall of 1973, when the MOD was on the ropes, and a national prolife boycott loomed on the horizon, the MOD called upon its secret weapon – James McHugh, now raised to the rank of Monsignor and a Papal Chamberlain by Paul VI – to bail the MOD out of its self-inflicted anti-life quagmire.
On November 7, 1973, Msgr. McHugh released the first of several reports in defense of the MOD titled. “National Foundation-March of Dimes and Abortion.” McHugh stated that he had met with MOD officials their future grant proposals would not directly encourage abortion.[4] The report along with a pro-MOD information packet was distributed by the Family Life Office to the American bishops and parochial school and Catholic organization around the nation. For its part, the MOD’s National Office in White Plains, NY, used it as a battering ram against prolife groups especially the USCL that had led the decades old fight against the MOD.
Two years later, on March 11, 1975, McHugh using the new NCCB Committee for Population and Pro-Life Activities issued his second major pro-MOD memorandum marked CONFIDENTIAL to the American bishops in which he reiterated his earlier contention that some prolife groups had “misunderstood” the MOD’s (eugenic) philosophy and activity. [5]
McHugh stated that the MOD was trying to manifest “a more visible prolife image” (as opposed to reality); that the MOD had made a generous grant to the Catholic University of America to develop a prolife curriculum for parochial schools (bribery); that charges against the MOD “continued to be vague and indefinite” and shouldn’t be permitted to prevent Catholics and Catholic schools from collecting for the MOD. The memo was signed, “Sincerely in Christ.”[6]
One year later, on May 25, 1976, Msgr. McHugh issued a third report for the American Bishops on the MOD controversy titled, “Amniocentesis – A Life Saving Technique,” in which McHugh failed to distinguish between truly therapeutic amniocentesis used in the third trimester of pregnancy for polyhdramnios, or RH immunization, or assessment of fetal maturity, and mid-trimester non-therapeutic amniocentesis used for determining if a eugenic abortion is “needed” to eliminate an affected unborn child.[7]
Among the many abortionists that served as national advisors and grantees of the MOD, Dr. Henry Foster, President Clinton’s ill-fated candidate for the Office of Surgeon General spoke plainly when he confirmed that “we do mid-trimester amniocentesis to decide whether or not the pregnancy should continue, and to provide a therapeutic abortion.”[8]
But McHugh called the mid-trimester (“screening-to-kill”) prenatal diagnostic procedure, “life-saving.”
Who to believe – Foster or McHugh?
Not surprisingly, the American bishops, in particular, Cardinal John Cody of Chicago, backed McHugh to the bloody end.
Thus, thanks to the corporate silence of the NCCB/USCC (later the USCCB) and the silent American hierarchy, today’s Catholic woman continues to undergo prenatal diagnostic procedures and elective abortion of affected unborn children at about the same rate as her Protestant and Jewish counterparts.
The Legal Services Corporation Debacle
During his many years at the NCCB/USCC, McHugh was able to successfully layer the Dearden/Bernardin collectivist liberal agenda onto his own “Respect Life Program.” In a “Letter to the Editor” to Crisis Magazine in February 1989, McHugh proudly announce that while Cardinal Bernardin has frequently spoken out on the consistent ethic of life, “the basic concept originated with the establishment of his Respect Life Program in 1972.”
The net effect of McHugh’s “Seamless Garment” strategy as it related to pro-life issues such as the intrinsically evil acts of a directly willed and procured abortion, was to water down the importance of these issues in the eyes of the Catholic laity as well as the general population. This strategy also provided loop-holes for raving pro-abort politicians such as Senator Ted Kennedy, who could now escape the Church’s blanket condemnation of their consistent anti-life voting record in their next bid for re-election.
The battle between Msgr. McHugh and the Pro-Life Movement over the pro-abortion activities of the Legal Services Corporation illustrates what happened when there was a conflict of interest between prolife forces and the leftist, liberal legislative priorities of the NCCB/USCC.
On June 21, 1973, Congressman Larry Hogan offered an abortion prohibition amendment to prevent the federally funded Legal Services Corporation from continuing to providing legal assistance for “the poor” to procure an abortion, or to force individuals and/or institutions to perform abortions against their own religious beliefs or moral convictions. The Hogan amendment passed the House, but similar efforts in the Senate failed. The measure then went to conference.
“A National Alert,” in the form of an eight-page memorandum on the anti-life activities of Legal Services by the USCL was sent to every pro-life group in the United States. Within 48 hours, almost every Congressman and Senator got the same message – “Abort Legal Services NOT Unborn Babies!”
As it happened, the USCC’s Social Justice Office and its legal staff were also pushing hard on the Legal Services issue, but unfortunately, it was in the opposite direction! It was not wholly unexpected, therefore when McHugh put a call into the USCL office to express his disapproval of the campaign against the Legal Services Corporation. The USCL held firm as did all the grassroots prolife organization, but the money and power of the USCC proved to be too much. When this sorry legislative battle over the Legal Services Corporation came to an end, the score was: radical pro-abort attorneys-1, preborn children-0.[9]
The tale of the abortion of Vietnamese refugees following the fall of Saigon in the spring of 1975 was an odyssey of death in which McHugh’s Prolife Office played an important role. I recall I was in the USCL basement office when I received a phone tip from a Vietnamese friend that pregnant Vietnamese women who were being housed at make-shift refugee camp sites in San Diego, Calif., and Indiantown Gap, Penna., were being secretly herded to off-base killing centers for abortions. A quick series of phone calls confirmed that the federal HEW Office of Population Affairs and the Department of Defense had created a quasi-secret bureaucratic maze to “make available” birth control (coils and pills) to refugee families, most of whom were Catholic, and to funnel pregnant refugee women to local abortion centers. Catholic chaplains and Catholic Relief Services workers at the camp site claimed they knew nothing about the underground abortion railroad.
In desperation, a phone call was placed to the Bishops’ Prolife Committee at the NCCB/USCC. McHugh’s office along with abortionist Dr. Louis Hellman’s Population Office, claimed the USCL was mistaken – no abortions were being performed on Vietnamese refugee women.
In the end, with the help of a Vietnamese chaplain and some prolife congressmen, the HEW/DOD abortion operation was shut down, but not before hundreds of Vietnamese preborn children were murdered in the “land of the free and the home of the brave.”
The following year, in testimony prepared for the January 12, 1976 Oversight Hearings on the Indochina Refugee Program of the House Committee on Immigration, Citizenry, and International Law, this writer recalled for the Congressmen a traditional Vietnamese folk tale about a giant (Communism) who comes into a village one day and is hailed as a savior of the people. Too late do the villagers discover that the giant has no heart. No heart, no mercy – just like the clerical bureaucrats at the NCCB/USCC.
Was I bitter about the Vietnamese abortion massacre? You bet! And obviously, I still am.
McHugh Takes a Rome Sabbatical
In 1978, McHugh departed for Rome to pursue advanced studies in moral theology and ethics, but he continued to influence his replacement, Dr. Daniel Dolesh, the new Chair of the USCC Department of Education’s National Committee for Human Sexuality. Dolesh, like McHugh was well connected to the AASEC-SIECUS- Planned Parenthood anti-life Axis.
In 1981, Dolesh’s National Committee for Human Sexuality issued a revised set of USCC “sex education guidelines” for Catholic schools titled, Education in Human Sexuality for Christians.[11]
The Dolesh “guidelines” charged teachers in Catholic schools to provide a complete and systematic education in sex for all their students, including formal instruction on all major aberrations of sexual development: “…. psycho-sexual changes, psycho-sexual deviations such as homosexuality, transvestism, pedophilia, incest, natural and artificial family planning… myths of masturbation… different sexual lifestyles… and physical and emotional responses in intercourse.”[12]
The last this writer heard about Dolesh was in a February 6, 1986, Plain Dealer article that featured the former USCC official as co-host of a radio-call-in-show called “SexLine.” The USCC rode out the Dolesh scandal as best it could. In the meantime, his sex program remained in Catholic schools until November 1990 when it was replaced by Human Sexuality: A Catholic Perspective and Lifelong Learning. This sex curriculum was designed by a secret NCCB/USCC “Sex Education Committee” whose membership was later revealed to include none other than Msgr. James T. McHugh.[13]
McHugh Accepts NFP Appointment
In 1981, McHugh returned to the United States having earned his doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas.[14] He returned to the Newark Archdiocese and took up residence at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, the seat of the Newark Archdiocese. It was about a year later in 1982, that a young Cuban priest by the name of Manuel Aurelii Cruz also took up residence at the Cathedral. The two would become lasting friends. The two would also become protégés of ArchbishopTheodore McCarrick who was installed as Archbishop of Newark in July 1986.
In the meantime, McHugh had a plush job awaiting him.
Homosexual Cardinal Terence Cardinal, with the approval of his fellow bishops, had just created the Diocesan Development Program for Natural Family Planning (DDP/NFP).[15] Msgr. James T. McHugh, who, in his younger days had been an advocate of contraception for fornicating unmarried couples,[16] was named National Director.
Anti-life forces were please with fact that the American bishops has created the DDP/NFP office since they clearly understood that once the Catholic hierarchy attached itself to the federal birth control financial gravy train, it was unlikely that they would oppose Title X-funded population control programs at home and abroad. The Sangerite lobbyists were great fortune tellers.
Reflecting on the Catholic bishops’ new aggressive NFP programs, pro-abortionist Dr. Carl Djerassi of Stanford University, known as the “Father of the Pill,” claimed that improved NFP methods would ultimately lead to better methods of abortion [early abortifacients!]
In his autobiography, The Pill, Pygmy Chimps, and Degas’ Horse, Djerassi states: “The determination of the “safe period” is one of the few areas of contraception where current scientific advances, that is, high technology, may actually serve to overcome some of the political obstacles, and to do so with extra bonuses outside the specific realm of birth control…. and that any addition to the contraceptive supermarket (metaphorically speaking) is desirable.”[17]
Djerassi concludes his comments on “jet-age” rhythm methods by holding out the promise that improved methods of NFP, which detect ovulation, could be used in conjunction with an abortifacient once-a-month pill that would “prevent implantation of a fertilized egg [human embryo] without disrupting the next menstrual flow.”[18]
McHugh Regains Control of NFP and Prolife Offices
The timing of McHugh’s appointment to the new NFP office in 1981 was fortuitous. McHugh’s mentor, 51-year-old homosexual “Teddy” McCarrick, Cooke’s former secretary, had just been appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen (NJ) where he promptly began to groom and abuse his seminarians and young priests.[19]
Also, fellow-homosexual Cooke had just become the new Chair of the Bishops’ Committee for Po-Life Affairs. This meant that McHugh was able to quickly reestablish his critical ties (and control) of both the Bishops’ Committee for Pro-Life Affairs and the National Committee for a Human Life Amendment (NCHLA).
On the practical side, his new position relieved him of any permanent pastoral duties in the Archdiocese of Newark and gave him more than sufficient financial resources by which he could maintain his cosmopolitan lifestyle and extensive travel itinerary, especially to the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations in Manhattan, where he served as the Vatican’s expert on Population Affairs.
McCarrick Consecrates McHugh A Bishop
On November 20, 1987, sixteen months after McCarrick had taken over the Archdiocese of Newark, McHugh was appointed an auxiliary bishop of Newark. McHugh was consecrated bishop at Sacred Heart Cathedral in the Newark by Archbishop McCarrick on January 25, 1988.
The Troubled Camden Diocese
In June of 1989, McCarrick secured the Diocese of Camden for his long-time protégé. According to Richard Doerflinger, McHugh was sent to “clean up” the homosexual-dominated diocese of Camden headed by Bishop George H. Guilfoyle, “Queen of the Fairies,” but that never occurred.
Bishop Guilfoyle, a carry-over from the homosexual Spellman-Cooke line in New York, with the assistance of his “pimp,” and multi-generational sex abuser, Msgr. Philip T. Rigney, filled pastoral vacancies and make hierarchical recommendations for priests having a homosexual propensity. Guilfoyle’s “spiritual director” was Father Patrick Weaver, a serial predator of young teen boys including his own nephew. As one of Weaver’s victims remarked, “there was a notorious band of priests who just blanketed the Camden Diocese in the ’60s and ’70s …the monsters I lived with weren’t hiding under my bed. They were giving me communion.”[20]
In 1989, Msgr. Rigney, retired to the “gay-friendly” Diocese of Palm Beach then under Bishop Thomas Daily. Rigney arrived in Palm Beach with a letter of recommendation from Camden’s new Bishop James T. McHugh.
Bishop McHugh Continues Cover-Up in Camden
In 1989, the year that McHugh was installed in Camden, the diocese made an out-of-court settlement with a victim of Rev. J. McElroy, who admitted molesting a 12-year-old boy in a shower stall at St. Francis de Sales rectory in Barrington. McElroy received a five-year jail sentence. Another victim of McElroy who received a settlement of $700,000 from the diocese, claimed that the priest had threatened him into silence with guns and knives.[21]
Later, Bishop McHugh permitted a convicted sexual predator named Father William C. O’Connell, who hailed from the Diocese of Providence, R.I, to set up shop as a “volunteer” at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Cape May, N.J.
In response to criticism that the Camden Diocese should have barred a convicted criminal from serving in any capacity as a priest in Camden, McHugh’s public relations officer, Andrew J. Walton, responded that the diocese did not know of that [past] conviction. In a follow-up statement, diocesan lawyers in court papers claimed that even if the Camden Chancery knew of the priest’s criminal past, “It is well-recognized that a bystander has no duty to provide affirmative aid to a person in peril.”[22]
According to New Jersey lawyer, Stephen Rubino, the Camden Diocese has one of highest rates of clerical sex abuse cases in the nation. It did not help when Bishop McHugh described the attempts of victim survivors to get a hearing as a new kind of terrorism in the Church.[23]
McHugh Gets Diocese of Rockville Center
In December 1998, McHugh was appointed coadjutor of Rockville Centre, N.Y., one of the richest dioceses in the United States.
In 2000, when McCarrick was appointed the Cardinal Archbishop of Washington D.C., McHugh also rose in the ranks as Bishop of Rockville Centre.
But he never got to enjoy the spoils of his office. Before the year was out, at the age of 68, Bishop James Thomas McHugh had gone to his Maker.
His funeral Mass at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre was said by homosexual prelate Archbishop Edward Egan, a long-time friend of McHugh from the 1960s when Egan was Secretary to Cardinal Cody in Chicago.
McCarrick said, “I have never known braver and more dedicated man of God. We will miss his clear and constant voice.”[24]
Bishop McHugh’s Double Life
There were a number of young, relatively handsome homosexual clerics and laymen who came in and out of McHugh’s life outside of the key homosexual bedfellows that dominated the Catholic hierarchy during this time including Cardinals McCarrick, Bernardin, and Cooke.
One of them was a former priest, Msgr. Carl J. Marucci, who served as McHugh’s personal secretary. Except for McHugh’s untimely death, today we might have been addressing Mr. Marucci as Bishop Marucci.
The Life and Times of Msgr. Carl Marucci
Born in 1958 in Philadelphia, Penna., Carl J. Marucci, a talented classical pianist received his B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Scranton (1976-1979). He was also enrolled at Marwood University’s School of Music Studies from 1976 to 1978.
The eldest Marucci son attended the now defunct St. Pius X Seminary in the Scranton Diocese, and later Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology (1979-1982), and earned his Master of Divinity degree at Seton Hill. The youthful, effeminate, and openly “swish” flamer was ordained in 1983 to the Camden Diocese then under homosexual Bishop George H. Guilfoyle.
Marucci served in two New Jersey parishes before Bishop McHugh, Guilfoyle’s new replacement, brought him to the Camden Diocesan Chancery Office to as his personal secretary in 1989. Marucci resided with McHugh at Marywood, the bishop’s official residence in Blackwood, N.J.
During his four years serving in the Camden Diocese, Marucci held the position of Vice Chancellor and Assistant Director of the Office of Public Relations & Telecommunications, and multiple fund-raising duties.
From 1991 to 1993 Marucci attended St. Charles Borromeo Seminary where he earned an additional degree in Medical Ethics.
Along with his brother, Louis, also a priest of the Camden Diocese and an accomplished harpist, Marucci co-founded the well-known Jubilate Deo Chorale & Orchestra.
In 1994, Bishop McHugh, who was serving as an Advisor on Population Affairs to the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations, secured for Marucci a diplomatic post as an attaché to the Cardinal ambassador of the U.N. mission in downtown Manhattan.[25]
Designed to give Marucci a more cosmopolitan world view, the new position was a step-up the ecclesiastical ladder for the 35-year old cleric who resided at nearby St. Agnes Parish during the weekdays, but on weekends could be seen driving off into the night on his motorcycle, giving new meaning to the clerical quip, “Lace by day, leather by night.”
When Pope John Paul II came to the U.N. in 1995, Msgr. Marucci served as head protocol and security coordinator for the Office of Permanent Observer for which he earned a commendation from the FBI.
In addition to his regular duties at the Office of Permanent Observer, Marucci was made the Executive Director of the million-dollar Path for Peace Foundation, the only official voice of the Catholic Church at the U.N.[26] Independent from, but in collaboration with the Vatican’s Permanent Observer Mission, the Path to Peace Foundation directs its activities primarily, albeit not exclusively, to the international stage of the United Nations.
Thus, Marucci’s original three-year diplomatic appointment at the Permanent Observer Mission and the Path for Peace Foundation extended to eight years, from 1994-2002.
By 2002, Bishop McHugh of the Rockville Centre Diocese was dead. Unless Marucci could acquire a new patron, his chances of climbing further up the ecclesiastical ladder were nil. The following year, Marucci left the priesthood and his plush UN job, and joined an ecumenical, “gay-friendly” church in upstate New York where he played the organ.
However, it wasn’t until ten years later that this writer learned of Marucci’s change of status when he made national news by proposing to his boyfriend, Andrew “Drew” Marsenison, in a flash mob at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park[27] and later “marrying” Drew in a lavish New York City “wedding” which is still online.[28]
Marucci is currently Senior Vice President of the Cohen Veterans Network[29] and holds membership in OutBüro – Gay Professional Network and LGBT Entrepreneurs. His curriculum vitae continues to display his knighthood in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.[30] All attempts to get the Order to withdraw the honor have fallen on deaf ears.
The Anti-Life Legacy of Bishop McHugh Continues
Normally, this would be the end of a long tale of woe of the early years of the Prolife Movement featuring Msgr., later, Bishop McHugh.
But we do not live in normal times.
Bishop McHugh died on December 10, 2000, but his anti-life legacy of deceit, compromise, and “common ground” has enjoyed an unfortunate comeback over the last decade in certain “progressive” wings of the Prolife Movement. In the second and final chapter to this series we will explore McHugh’s old “common ground” strategy as it has been reinterpreted and reimaged under the banner of “CONSENSUS” hoisted by the Supreme Knights of Columbus and the Executives of the March for Life Committee.
[In the fourth chapter to this series we will explore McHugh’s old “common ground” strategy as it has been reinterpreted and reimagined under the banner of “CONSENSUS” hoisted by the Supreme Knights of Columbus and the Executives of the March for Life Committee.]

2 Judy Baehr, “Priest Gets New Job With Vatican, Inquirer, April 1, 1994.
In 1994, Sen. Joe Biden signed a crime bill that added dozens of additional offenses to the list of crimes punishable by death. Two years ago, while campaigning for president in New Hampshire, he complemented its citizens, saying, “By the way, congratulations to ya’ll ending the death penalty here.” This past March, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that the president “has grave concerns about whether capital punishment, as currently implemented, is consistent with the values that are fundamental to our sense of justice and fairness.” Inexplicably, on June 14 the Department of Justice (DOJ) asked the Supreme Court to reinstate the death penalty against the Boston Marathon bomber (which happens to be the same position taken by President Trump). It is obvious that the death penalty is bedeviling Biden. But why? In 2018, the Catholic Church, which had previously said that the death penalty was permissible in certain circumstances, revised its teaching by saying it was always impermissible. Biden could have said, of course, that his switch—from being pro-death penalty to anti-death penalty—reflected the change in the teachings of the Catholic Church. But he did not. He didn’t because that would have begged the question: Why are you still opposed to the Church’s teaching on abortion? Biden has created this jam, not the Catholic Church. Even more bizarre, now his opposition to the death penalty is being ignored by his own DOJ. A Pew Research poll released this month showed that the majority of Americans (60%) favor the death penalty. An even newer poll, taken by CRC Research, found that 83% of Catholics who regularly attend Mass say that public figures who disagree with policy positions held by the Catholic Church “create confusion” among the rank-and-file. Three of four (74%) of these Catholics say that these officials should not present themselves for Communion. Biden is out of sync with the Church on the issue of the beginning of life—he is totally opposed to acknowledging any human rights for innocent unborn babies—but he is in sync with the Church when it comes to capital punishment. Why are Biden’s “values that are fundamental to [his] sense of justice and fairness” only applicable to convicted murderers but not innocent babies? If Biden is bedeviled by the death penalty, it is fair to say that he is plagued by abortion. It is a subject that will not go away, and his inability to adopt a consistent ethic of life is making the “devout Catholic” look like a rank hypocrite, if not worse. In July 1989, there was rampant joy in the tents of the pro-lifers, for it looked as though the Supreme Court had taken a magnificent and decisive turn on the matter of abortion. For the Court sustained a law in Missouri containing this preamble: that “[t]he life of each human being begins at conception.”
The statute went on to require a test for viability before an abortion on a woman thought to be 20 weeks into her pregnancy; and it prohibited the use of public employees to perform or encourage abortions, unless they were necessary to save the life of the pregnant woman.
The case was Webster v. Reproductive Health Services, and the Court sustained all parts of the law. Justice Blackmun, in dissent, charged that this was, in effect, the overruling of Roe v. Wade, and the prolifers read it the same way.
And yet, the Court did stop short of overruling Roe, and that is what brought forth an earnest appeal by Justice Scalia that the Court should indeed have gone all the way. But the opinion by the Chief Justice did indeed stop short.
The preamble declared the personhood of the unborn child, and yet no abortions had actually been barred in Missouri in acting on that premise. Nor were abortions barred yet after viability, even though the law required a test for viability. And the fact that public employees and funds were barred from performing abortions did nothing to bar private clinics from providing the same service.
The State recognized the full human standing of the unborn child, but until the law actually started barring abortions, the statute would do little more than preserve the standing of the child in the womb as an inheritor of property, or as one who could be protected from harms, say, in accidents.
But the Chief Justice raised the telling question of why the interest of the State in protecting the child would arise at the point of viability and not earlier. And that seemed to be the invitation that would mark the end of Roe v. Wade in only a case or two to come. The unwillingness of the Court to take that last decisive step would work quite as well to instruct the lower courts to hold back in the same way.
Nevertheless, the decision set off a firestorm in certain parts of the country. Given the rising cohesion of the Democrats on this issue, the outburst of 1989 may come to seem a muted affair. We have every reason to expect that the response will trigger fierce demands to pack the Supreme Court, enact Roe v. Wade as a statute, and encourage judges in the separate States to find a right to abortion in their own constitutions.
But as I noted in my previous column, the same concerns have flared again as the Supreme Court prepares to hear a case (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) involving a statute in Mississippi that would indeed move past the marker of “viability” and protect the child at 15 weeks into the pregnancy.
*
For the Court simply to sustain this statute would be taken as a “limited” decision. And yet, as I wrote last time, this decision would indeed be seen as a move to put Roe v. Wade “in the course of ultimate extinction.”
The defenders of abortion will surely treat the decision as, in effect, the overturning ofRoe. The Court may look then for the “low door under the wall”: a means of sustaining the statute without setting off alarms.
The one strand that the Court might latch onto is the issue of pain: The State sought to argue that a limit of 15 weeks stands a better chance of sparing the fetus the excruciating pain of being poisoned or dismembered.
The question first came to the fore in the mid-1980’s and President Reagan picked up on it in one of his State of the Union Addresses. That was enough to catch the attention of the public – and the derision of the pundits.
Hearings were held then on fetal pain in Senate Committee on the Judiciary in May 1985. One of the contributors was my late, dear friend Daniel Robinson, who was a leading figure in the neural sciences, at Georgetown. Robinson refuted the claim of one of the pro-choice doctors that a fetus cannot feel pain at 12 weeks – or even earlier.
Doctors on the other side testified that fetuses were not as likely to feel pain because their cerebral cortices were not well developed. Robinson pointed out that “the anatomy of pain”. . .”does not seem to avail itself of any specific region of the cerebral cortex.” He recalled cases of brain cancer where it was necessary to remove as much as half of the cerebral cortex, and yet the patients did not lose their sensation of pain.
The reaction to pain, he said, is reflexive; it depends on instant recognitions “for which the cerebral cortex may be utterly unnecessary.” And “when our hand touches a red-hot object we do not engage in syllogistic modes of deliberation in search of an appropriate response.”
But then he brought matters down to ground by asking, “What difference would it make? If the human fetus is regarded as human being deserving of our solicitude, then we surely would oppose its death even if pain were not involved. After all, what is wrongful in abortion is the taking of a human life and this remains wrongful even if painless methods were developed and adopted.”
To uphold the statute out of a concern for fetal pain may be enough to avert a political storm; and yet five of the justices will know that the issue of pain is essentially beside the point. If a storm will come in either case, they may decide then to end the moral charade and make, finally, the most coherent judgment they can make. But it will be no easy test of prudence.

“KIDS & VEXXINES,” QAnon Conspiracy Nuts, the “Vaccine SUICIDE CULT” & “18 Reasons I Won’t Be Getting a Covid Vaccine”
Reading about the COVID vaccines on the internet can be humorous at times. Even the renowned statistician Dr. William Briggs, who is a consultant and adjunct Professor of Statistics at Cornell University with specialties in medicine and philosophy of science, had to bring out of the closet his Abbot and Costello routine:
KIDS & VEXXINES
To date, from the beginning of time, 78 babies (under 1) had deaths attributed to COVID; 37 kids 1-4 had them; and 108 5-14 had them.
New deaths numbers are dropping, too.
Are vexxines, which harm the younger more than the older, really needed in kids?
Hey, that isn’t me asking. It’s WHO. (Don’t make me do Abbot and Costello again.)
Next stop on the internet, I found that the leftist pro-Biden Rolling Stone website was polite enough to let me know that WHO and scholars who are consultants and adjunct Professor of Statistics at Cornell University with specialties in medicine and philosophy of science are really, really QAnon conspiracy nuts who are “black hole[s] of misinformation that poses a grave threat to public health.” [https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/qanon-anti-vax-covid-vaccine-conspiracy-theory-1125197/]
After looking at those websites, I decided to go back to the guy who was a consultant and adjunct Professor of Statistics at Cornell University with specialties in medicine and philosophy of science because I had already had enough laughs for the day. The professor reported:
BURDEN OF PROOF
I remind readers that we skeptics have no burden whatsoever to prove that mask mandates and lockdowns don’t work, or even that experimental vaccines don’t cause harm. We have prima facie evidence that, indeed, masks and lockdowns are useless and that these rushed-to-production vaccines do cause more harm than usual.
Where is the definitive proof, and refutations of the evidence we possess, for masks and lockdowns? It does not exist.
There is a paper going around from Experts at MIT saying, in the same way journalist say it, that only certified opinion should count in the mask debate. Hello, Appeal to Authority! (It’s way funnier than that. It amounts to them saying, “Random dudes on the internet know more than we do: how do we stop them?”
There is also Nicholas Wade’s work providing solid, but not definitive, evidence the coronadoom was indeed lab engineered, for use in so-called gain-of-function experiments.
This update is already too long to get both of those things, which we’ll do another day.
VEXED
Nothing says “effective, safe vaccine” more than celebrities, elites, Experts, rulers, officials, quacks, and nitwit reporters screaming at you, telling you how stupid you are, swearing at you, giving you the finger, or even offering you free beer and credit at school, with the rest cajoling, wheedling, castigating, and, finally, forbidding you freedom if you refuse to comply.
As some foaming-at-the-mouth media hack shrieks “TAKE YOUR MEDICINE!”, you think to yourself, “Boy, that must be one miracle drug.”
Is it any wonder people become anti-vaxxers? That the least of us (arrogant Experts etc.) treat people like something that needs scraping off their shoes makes it rational to distrust what they’re selling.
It’s worse than that. Obviously, if the costs outweigh the benefits of the vaccines, then these Experts have blood on their hands when they manage to coerce somebody into taking a vaccine they shouldn’t have taken. But also, suppose the benefits of these experimental vaccines really do outweigh their costs. Then because the boorish and ludicrous behavior of Experts cause people to forgo the vaccine, then the Experts are responsible for killing people. Either way, Experts acting like jackasses causes harm.
All vaccines cause harm. They are designed to. They force your body to react as if it was being attacked, which it is, by the vaccine, so that your body might better fend off stronger attacks. Again I say, causing harm is what vaccines are designed to do on the age-old theory no pain, no gain.
Many, and perhaps even all (numbers, as we’ll see, are hard to come by), vaccines cause so much harm that some die from the vaccine. Not just the coronadoom vaccines, but all of them.
So there’s a risk of either death or great, measurable harm to all vaccines. There’s also a risk of death or great, measurable harm from the diseases the vaccine are for. People, not Experts, have to choose between these risks. [https://wmbriggs.com/post/35617/]
Finally, I thought I’d see what a nutritionist with five kids had to say about the vaccines in a post titled “18 Reasons I Won’t Be Getting a Covid Vaccine”:
#1: VACCINE MAKERS ARE IMMUNE FROM LIABILITY
The only industry in the world that bears no liability for injuries or deaths resulting from their products, are vaccine makers.
The covid-vaccine makers are allowed to create a one-size-fits-all product, with no testing on sub-populations (i.e. people with specific health conditions), and yet they are unwilling to accept any responsibility for any adverse events or deaths their products cause.
If a company is not willing to stand behind their product as safe, especially one they rushed to market and skipped animal trials on, I am not willing to take a chance on their product.
No liability. No trust.
Here’s why…
#2: THE CHECKERED PAST OF THE VACCINE COMPANIES
The four major companies who are making these covid vaccines are/have either:
Never brought a vaccine to market before covid (Moderna and Johnson & Johnson).
Are serial felons (Pfizer, and Astra Zeneca).
Are both (Johnson & Johnson).
Moderna had been trying to “Modernize our RNA” (thus the company name)–for years, but had never successfully brought ANY product to market–how nice for them to get a major cash infusion from the government to keep trying.
In fact, all major vaccine makers (save Moderna) have paid out tens of billions of dollars in damages for other products they brought to market when they knew those products would cause injuries and death–see Vioxx, Bextra, Celebrex, Thalidomide, and opioids as a few examples.
If drug companies willfully choose to put harmful products in the market, when they can be sued, why would we trust any product where they have NO liability?
In case it hasn’t sunk in, let me reiterate…3 of the 4 covid vaccine makers have been sued for products they brought to market even though they knew injuries and deaths would result.
Astra Zeneca has similarly lost so many lawsuits it’s hard to count. Here’s one. Here’s another…you get the point. And in case you missed it, the company had their covid vaccine suspended in at least 18 countries over concerns of blood clots, and they completely botched their meeting with the FDA with numbers from their study that didn’t match.
Oh, and apparently J&J (whose vaccine is approved for “Emergency Use” in the US) and Astrazenca (whose vaccine is not approved for “Emergency Use” in the US), had a little mix up in their ingredients…in 15 million doses. Oops.
Let me reiterate this point:
Given the free pass from liability, and the checkered past of these companies, why would we assume that all their vaccines are safe and made completely above board?
Where else in life would we trust someone with that kind of reputation?
To me that makes as much sense as expecting a remorseless, abusive, unfaithful lover to become a different person because a judge said deep down they are a good person.
No. I don’t trust them.
No liability. No trust.
Here’s another reason why I don’t trust them.
#3: THE UGLY HISTORY OF ATTEMPTS TO MAKE CORONAVIRUS VACCINES
There have been many attempts to make viral vaccines in the past that ended in utter failure, which is why we did not have a coronavirus vaccine in 2020.
In the 1960’s, scientists attempted to make an RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine for infants.
In that study, they skipped animal trials because they weren’t necessary back then.
In the end, the vaccinated infants got much sicker than the unvaccinated infants when exposed to the virus in nature, with 80% of the vaccinated infants requiring hospitalization, and two of them died.
After 2000, scientists made many attempts to create coronavirus vaccines.
For the past 20 years, all ended in failure because the animals in the clinical trials got very sick and many died, just like the children in the 1960’s.
You can read a summary of this history/science here.
Or if you want to read the individual studies you can check out these links:
In 2005 mice and civets became sick and more susceptible to coronaviruses after being vaccinated
In 2012 the ferrets became sick and died. And in this study mice and ferrets developed lung disease.
In 2016 this study also produce lung disease in mice.
The typical pattern in the studies mentioned above is that the children and the animals produced beautiful antibody responses after being vaccinated.
The manufacturers thought they hit the jackpot.
The problem came when the children and animals were exposed to the wild version of the virus.
When that happened, an unexplained phenomenon called Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE) also known as Vaccine Enhanced Disease (VED) occurred where the immune system produced a “cytokine storm” (i.e. overwhelmingly attacked the body), and the children/animals died.
Here’s the lingering issue…
The vaccine makers have no data to suggest their rushed vaccines have overcome that problem.
In other words, never before has any attempt to make a coronavirus vaccine been successful, nor has the gene-therapy technology that is mRNA “vaccines” been safely brought to market, but hey, since they had billions of dollars in government funding, I’m sure they figured that out.
Except they don’t know if they have…
#4: THE “DATA GAPS” SUBMITTED TO THE FDA BY THE VACCINE MAKERS
When vaccine makers submitted their papers to the FDA for the Emergency Use Authorization (Note: An EUA is not the same as a full FDA approval), among the many “Data Gaps” they reported was that they have nothing in their trials to suggest they overcame that pesky problem of Vaccine Enhanced Disease.
They simply don’t know–i.e. they have no idea if the vaccines they’ve made will also produce the same cytokine storm (and deaths) as previous attempts at such products.
“Previous attempts to develop an mRNA-based drug using lipid nanoparticles failed and had to be abandoned because when the dose was too low, the drug had no effect, and when dosed too high, the drug became too toxic. An obvious question is: What has changed that now makes this technology safe enough for mass use?”
If that’s not alarming enough, here are other gaps in the data–i.e. there is no data to suggest safety or efficacy regarding:
Anyone younger than age 18 or older than age 55
Pregnant or lactating mothers
Auto-immune conditions
Immunocompromised individuals
No data on transmission of covid
No data on preventing mortality from covid
No data on duration of protection from covid
Hard to believe right?
In case you think I’m making this up, or want to see the actual documents sent to the FDA by Pfizer and Moderna for their Emergency Use Authorization, you can check out this, or this respectively. The data gaps can be found starting with page 46 and 48 respectively.
For now let’s turn our eyes to the raw data the vaccine makers used to submit for emergency use authorization.
#5: NO ACCESS TO THE RAW DATA FROM THE TRIALS
Would you like to see the raw data that produced the “90% and 95% effective” claims touted in the news?
Me too…
But they won’t let us see that data.
As pointed out in the BMJ, something about the Pfizer and Moderna efficacy claims smells really funny.
There were “3,410 total cases of suspected, but unconfirmed covid-19 in the overall study population, 1,594 occurred in the vaccine group vs. 1,816 in the placebo group.”
Wait…what?
Did they fail to do science in their scientific study by not verifying a major variable?
Could they not test those “suspected but unconfirmed” cases to find out if they had covid?
Apparently not.
Why not test all 3,410 participants for the sake of accuracy?
Can we only guess they didn’t test because it would mess up their “90-95% effective” claims?
Where’s the FDA?
Would it not be prudent for the FDA, to expect (demand) that the vaccine makers test people who have “covid-like symptoms,” and release their raw data so outside, third-parties could examine how the manufacturers justified the numbers?
I mean it’s only every citizen of the world we’re trying to get to take these experimental products…
Why did the FDA not require that? Isn’t that the entire purpose of the FDA anyway?
Good question.
Foxes guarding the hen house?
Seems like it.
No liability. No trust.
#6: NO LONG-TERM SAFETY TESTING
Obviously, with products that have only been on the market a few months, we have no long-term safety data.
In other words, we have no idea what this product will do in the body months or years from now–for ANY population.
Given all the risks above (risks that ALL pharmaceutical products have), would it not be prudent to wait to see if the worst-case scenarios have indeed been avoided?
Would it not make sense to want to fill those pesky “data gaps” before we try to give this to every man, woman, and child on the planet?
Well…that would make sense, but to have that data, they need to test it on people, which leads me to my next point…
#7: NO INFORMED CONSENT
What most who are taking the vaccine don’t know is that because these products are still in clinical trials, anyone who gets the shot is now part of the clinical trial.
They are part of the experiment.
Those (like me) who do not take it, are part of the control group.
Time will tell how this experiment works out.
But, you may be asking, if the vaccines are causing harm, wouldn’t we be seeing that all over the news?
Surely the FDA would step in and pause the distribution?
#8: UNDER-REPORTING OF ADVERSE REACTIONS AND DEATH
According to a study done by Harvard (at the commission of our own government), less than 1% of all adverse reactions to vaccines are actually submitted to the National Vaccine Adverse Events Reports System (VAERS) – read page 6 at the link above.
While the problems with VAERS have not been fixed (as you can read about in this letter to the CDC), at the time of this writing VAERS reports over 2,200 deaths from the current covid vaccines, as well as close to 60,000 adverse reactions.
“VAERS data released today showed 50,861 reports of adverse events following COVID vaccines, including 2,249 deaths and 7,726 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and March 26, 2021.”
If those numbers are still only 1% of the total adverse reactions (or .8 to 2% of what this study published recently in the JAMA found), you can do the math, but that equates to somewhere around 110,000 to 220,000 deaths from the vaccines to date, and a ridiculous number of adverse reactions.
Bet you didn’t see that on the news.
That death number would currently still be lower than the 424,000 deaths from medical errors that happen every year (which you probably also don’t hear about), but we are not even six months into the rollout of these vaccines yet.
If you want a deeper dive into the problems with the VAERS reporting system, you can check this out, or check this out.
But then there’s my next point, which could be argued makes these covid vaccines seem pointless…
#9: THE VACCINES DO NOT STOP TRANSMISSION OR INFECTION
Wait, what?
Aren’t these vaccines supposed to be what we’ve been waiting for to “go back to normal”?
Nope.
Why do you think we’re getting all these conflicting messages about needing to practice social distancing and wear masks AFTER we get a vaccine?
The reason is because these vaccines were never designed to stop transmission OR infection.
If you don’t believe me, I refer you again to the papers submitted to the FDA I linked to above.
The primary endpoint (what the vaccines are meant to accomplish) is to lower your symptoms.
Sounds like just about every other drug on the market right?
That’s it…lowering your symptoms is the big payoff we’ve been waiting for.
Does that seem completely pointless to anyone but me?
It can’t stop us from spreading the virus.
It can’t stop the virus from infecting us once we have it.
To get the vaccine is to accept all the risk of these experimental products and the best it might do is lower symptoms?
Heck, there are plenty of other things I can do to lower my symptoms that don’t involve taking what appears to be a really risky product.
Now for the next logical question:
If we’re worried about asymptomatic spreaders, would the vaccine not make it morelikely that we are creating asymptomatic spread?
If it indeed reduces symptoms, anyone who gets it might not even know they are sick and thus they are more likely to spread the virus, right?
For what it’s worth, I’ve heard many people say the side effects of the vaccine (especially the second dose) are worse than catching covid.
I can’t make sense of that either.
Take the risk.
Get no protection.
Suffer through the vaccine side-effects.
Keep wearing your mask and social distancing…
And continue to be able to spread the virus.
What?
It gets worse.
#10: PEOPLE ARE CATCHING COVID AFTER BEING FULLY VACCINATED
Why would I take a risk on a product, that doesn’t stop infection or transmission, to help me overcome a cold that has a .26% chance of killing me–actually in my age range is has about a .1% chance of killing me (and .01% chance of killing my kids), but let’s not split hairs here.
With a bar (death rate) that low, we will be in lockdown every year…i.e. forever.
But wait, what about the 500,000 plus deaths, that’s alarming right?
I’m glad you asked.
#12: THE BLOATED COVID DEATH NUMBERS
Something smells really funny about this one.
Never before in the history of death certificates has our own government changed how deaths are reported.
Why now, are we reporting everyone who dies with covid in their body, as having died of covid, rather than the co-morbidities that actually took their life?
Until covid, all coronaviruses (common colds) were never listed as the primary cause of death when someone died of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, auto-immune conditions, or any other major co-morbidity.
The disease was listed as the cause of death, and a confounding factor like flu or pneumonia was listed on a separate line.
To bloat the number even more, both the W.H.O. and the C.D.C. changed their guidelines such that those who are suspected or probable (but were never confirmed) of having died of covid, are also included in the death numbers.
Seriously?
If we are going to do that then should we not go back and change the numbers of all past cold and flu seasons so we can compare apples to apples when it comes to death rates?
According to the CDCs own numbers, (scroll down to the section “Comorbidities and other conditions”) only 6% of the deaths being attributed to covid are instances where covid seems to be the only issue at hand.
In other words, reduce the death numbers you see on the news by 94% and you have what is likely the real numbers of deaths from just covid.
Even if the former CDC director is correct and covid-19 was a lab-enhanced virus (see Reason #14 below), a .26% death rate is still in line with the viral death rate that circles the planet ever year.
I’d really love to trust him, but besides the fact that he hasn’t treated one covid patient…you should probably know…
#13: FAUCI AND SIX OTHERS AT NIAID OWN PATENTS IN THE MODERNA VACCINE
Thanks to the Bayh-Dole Act, government workers are allowed to file patents on any research they do using tax payer funding.
Tony Fauci owns over 1,000 patents (see this video for more details), including patents being used on the Moderna vaccine…which he approved government funding for.
Mr. Fauci, you have some explaining to do…and I hope the cameras are recording when you have to defend your actions.
For now, let’s turn our attention back to the virus…
#15: THE VIRUS CONTINUES TO MUTATE
Not only does the virus (like all viruses) continue to mutate, but according to world-renowned vaccine developer Geert Vanden Bossche (who you’ll meet below if you don’t know him) it’s mutating about every 10 hours.
How in the world are we going to keep creating vaccines to keep up with that level of mutation?
Why, given that natural immunity has never ultimately failed humanity, do we suddenly not trust it?
Why, if I ask questions like the above, or post links like what you find above, will my thoughts be deletedfrom all major social media platforms?
That brings me to the next troubling problem I have with these vaccines.
#16: CENSORSHIP…AND THE COMPLETE ABSENCE OF SCIENTIFIC DEBATE
I can’t help but get snarky here, so humor me.
How did you enjoy all those nationally and globally-televised, robust debates put on by public health officials, and broadcast simultaneously on every major news station?
Wasn’t it great hearing from the best minds in medicine, virology, epidemiology, economics, and vaccinology from all over the world as they vigorously and respectfully debated things like:
Wasn’t it great seeing public health officials (who never treated anyone with covid) have their “science” questioned?
Wasn’t it great seeing the FDA panel publicly grill the vaccine makers in prime time as they stood in the hot-seat of tough questions about products of which they have no liability?
Oh, wait…you didn’t see those debates?
No, you didn’t…because they never happened.
What happened instead was heavy-handed censorship of all but one narrative.
It’s the FIRST amendment Mark–the one our founders thought was most important.
With so much at stake, why are we fed only one narrative…shouldn’t many perspectives be heard and professionally debated?
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO SCIENCE?
What has happened to the scientific method of always challenging our assumptions?
What happened to lively debate in this country, or at least in Western society?
Why did anyone who disagrees with the WHO, or the CDC get censored so heavily?
Is the science of public health a religion now, or is science supposed to be about debate?
If someone says “the science is settled” that’s how I know I’m dealing with someone who is closed minded.
By definition science (especially biological science) is never settled.
If it was, it would be dogma, not science.
OK, before I get too worked up, let me say this…
I WANT TO BE A GOOD CITIZEN
I really do.
If lockdowns work, I want to do my part and stay home.
If masks work, I want to wear them.
If social distancing is effective, I want to comply.
But, if there is evidence they don’t (masks for example), I want to hear that evidence too.
If highly-credentialed scientists have different opinions, I want to know what they think.
I want a chance to hear their arguments and make up my own mind.
I don’t think I’m the smartest person in the world, but I think I can think.
Maybe I’m weird, but if someone is censored, then I REALLY want to hear what they think.
Don’t you?
To all my friends who don’t have a problem with censorship, will you have the same opinion when what you think is censored?
Is censorship not the technique of dictators, tyrants, and greedy, power-hungry people?
Is it not a sign that those who are doing the censoring know it’s the only way they can win?
What if a man who spent his entire life developing vaccines was willing to put his entire reputation on the line and call on all global leaders to immediately stop the covid vaccines because of problems with the science?
What if he pleaded for an open-scientific debate on a global stage?
Would you want to hear what he has to say?
Would you want to see the debate he’s asking for?
#17: THE WORLD’S LEADING VACCINOLOGIST IS SOUNDING THE ALARM…
Here is what may be the biggest reason this covid vaccine doesn’t make sense to me.
When someone who is very pro-vaccine, who has spent his entire professional career overseeing the development of vaccines, is shouting from the mountaintops that we have a major problem, I think the man should be heard.
Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He want you to do next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.
Francis Notes:
– Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:
“[T]he Pope… WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.” (The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)
– LifeSiteNews, “Confusion explodes as Pope Francis throws magisterial weight behind communion for adulterers,” December 4, 2017:
The AAS guidelines explicitly allows “sexually active adulterous couples facing ‘complex circumstances’ to ‘access the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.'”
– On February 2018, in Rorate Caeli, Catholic theologian Dr. John Lamont:
“The AAS statement… establishes that Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia has affirmed propositions that are heretical in the strict sense.”
– On December 2, 2017, Bishop Rene Gracida:
“Francis’ heterodoxy is now official. He has published his letter to the Argentina bishops in Acta Apostlica Series making those letters magisterial documents.”
Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church by the bishops by the grace of God.
The least we could’ve done was set up this money-grab so good ol’ American crooks could steal the taxpayers’ money. Instead, it appears we shipped these lucrative jobs overseas. “Unemployment fraud surged during the coronavirus pandemic,” reports Fox Business, “with billions of dollars likely ending up in the hands of foreign crime syndicates based in China, Russia and other countries, experts say.” Total damage? Around $400 billion lost to fraud, according to estimates. We get it. When one’s country is more than $28 t-t-t-trillion in debt (that’s $85 thousand per citizen, $226 thousand per taxpayer), one tends to become indifferent to stories about fraud, waste, and abuse. But the amount we’re talking about here is hardly chump change. Indeed, $400 billion is nearly four times the annual budget of Texas, more than 10 times the annual budget of Tennessee, and about 80 times the annual budget of South Dakota. The U.S. treasury must look like prime rib to these fraudsters, given that one of the most noticeable characteristics of our bloated bureaucracy is its incompetence. After all, when a schlub can’t possibly be fired for poor performance, he tends to pursue the path of least resistance. Hmm … this here claim seems kinda fishy. But not fishy enough. Still, even the most competent and conscientious of agencies would’ve been overwhelmed by the perfect storm of pandemic shutdowns, pandemic stimulus, and pandemic unemployment claims that hit the states last April. Thus, with state agencies overwhelmed by requests for free money, is it any wonder that fraudsters foreign and domestic had a field day? Unemployment fraud was never as lucrative as, say, healthcare fraud, but all that changed last year. Now scammers steal or trick us into allowing them access to our personal info, then they use it to make fraudulent claims. Simple. And with President Joe Biden still paying people not to work, and still spending money faster than his presses can print it, is there any end in sight? “In the most predictable story of the Covid era,” writes the Wall Street Journal’s James Freeman, “it turns out that federal relief programs have been plagued with fraud and abuse. As for waste, well, that was always sort of the point. Shutting down much of the economy and attempting to replace it with federal spending, borrowing and money creation is not a strategy for productivity.” The Biden administration was, predictably, quick to point the finger. “Widespread fraud at the state level in pandemic unemployment insurance during the previous administration is one of the most serious challenges we inherited,” said White House economist Gene Sperling, who also coordinates the so-called “White House American Rescue Plan.” Right, Gene. “This is a howler,” as Freeman notes, “as if candidate Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress spent 2020 seeking to block Covid spending bills because they lacked robust accounting systems. In 2021, Mr. Biden enacted nearly $2 trillion in additional Covid-related spending even after it was clear the plan was no longer needed.” James Madison would’ve seen this coming. “I cannot undertake,” he said, “to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” Sometimes, the most basic constitutional principles are the toughest by which to abide.
BILL GATES AND HIS FELLOW EUGENICISTS WHO HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR A LONG TIME TO REDUCE THE WORLD POPULATION OF HUMAN BEINGS HAVE JUST ACHIEVED A GREAT STRIDE FORWARD IN ACHIEVING THEIR GOAL: THE VACCINES CURRENTLY BEINGING INJECTED IN UNSUSPECTING MEN AND WOMEN WILL ACCOMPLISH THEIR GOAL.

“Birth-control vaccine is reported in India”
“Scientists said yesterday they have created the first birth-control shot for women, effective for an entire year…[after which] a booster shot is needed.”
by Jon Rappoport
Dr. Byram Bridle, Associate Professor of Viral Immunology, University of Guelph: “We made a big mistake; we didn’t realize it until right now, we thought the spike protein was a great target antigen, we never knew that the spike protein itself was a toxin…and was a pathogenic protein.
So by vaccinating people, we are inadvertently inoculating them with a toxin, and [for] some people, this gets in the circulation and when that happens in some people, it can cause damage, especially to the cardiovascular system.
I have many other legitimate questions about the long-term safety therefore of this vaccine. FOR EXAMPLE, WITH IT ACCUMULATING WITHIN THE OVARIES, ONE OF MY QUESTIONS IS, WILL WE BE RENDERING YOUNG PEOPLE INFERTILE?” (emphasis mine)
In yesterday’s article, I outlined possible parallels between population-reduction vaccines and the current COVID vaccines, which are causing bleeding, irregular menstrual cycles, miscarriages, and pre-term births. Elite depopulation research, involving vaccines, has a long history, leading up to this day.
The Task Force on Vaccines for Fertility Regulation was created at the World Health Organization in 1973. Ute Sprenger, writing in Biotechnology and Development Monitor (December 1995) describes the Task Force: “…a global coordinating body for anti-fertility vaccine R&D…such as anti-sperm and anti-ovum vaccines…”
Sprenger indicates that, as of 1995, there were a number of large groups researching these vaccines. Among them: WHO/HRP. HRP, the Special Progamme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction, is located in Switzerland. It is funded by “the governments of Sweden, United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, Germany and Canada, as well as the UNFPA and the World Bank.” The Population Council, a US group funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, the National Institutes of Health [a US federal agency], and the US Agency for International Development [notorious for its collaborations with the CIA]. National Institute of Immunology. Located in India, “major funders are the Indian government, the Canadian International Development Research Center and the [ubiquitous] Rockefeller Foundation.” The Center for Population Research operates under the umbrella of the US National Institute of Child Health and Development [!], which is part of the US National Institutes of Health. Over time, the names of these groups change; their goal remains the same. Depopulation through vaccination. And of course, it doesn’t take long to find the name, Bill Gates, as a funding source.
To provide background on this long-term operation, it’s necessary to understand the vision of arch Globalists and radical environmentalists. (I’m not talking about environmental groups who simply want to combat major corporate polluters.) If you demonstrated that the most advanced waste incinerators could burn all the organic and inorganic garbage piling up in landfills around the world and in the oceans—including plastics—and the toxic compounds emitted by these incinerators would cause FAR LESS damage than the landfills and the ocean plastic dumps… And even if you advocated the incinerators as stop-gap solutions, until better answers could be found… A radical environmentalist would reject your proposal—and any technological fix—out of hand. He wants to re-forest the entire planet, reduce the human population to a fraction of its current size, and cede police powers for achieving these objectives to a magical global governance body. Elite Globalists approve of radical environmentalism—but with a twist. They want a technocratic Brave New World, where those humans allowed to survive would be genetically “improved” and controlled, to keep them from exercising a dangerous item called freedom.
The Globalists and the radical environmentalists agree that there are too many people on Earth; and no solution to human problems can be accomplished, given the current (excess) population. Instead of 7 billion people, they want a human race of a billion or five hundred million. Both groups also agree that the fake science of climate change should be pushed to the limit, in order to impose energy-use quotas on every human. This program would actually lower energy use and production across the world and create massive poverty and a massive die-off. For decades, elite Globalists have been asking themselves the question: How do you kill billions of people and get away with it? One of their prime answers has been: pandemics. Of course, the true pandemic is the response to the fake pandemic: vaccines. If, in the long-term, vaccines can induce the inability to produce children, the genocide would be invisible. A combination of truth and lies—issued as ongoing studies and press reports—would “explain” falling birth rates. E.g., climate change, extreme weather, pesticides, women opting out of motherhood for careers, economic downturns, fear of raising children in a world of increasing dangers, etc. But behind it all—vaccines. Preliminary animal studies of COVID RNA technology are reporting that the spike protein travels through the body, far beyond expected destinations. Applied to humans, this would mean the immune system is on full-attack mode against the protein. And THAT opens the door to immune-system rejection on a grand scale—the body basically assaults itself and its organs. The targets of assault could very well include tissues of the womb and a developing embryo. The current claim that ongoing COVID booster shots will be necessary reinforces this scenario. In medical, psychological, and sociological literature, the nasty direct term, “eugenics,” has been replaced by a softer vaguer one, “family planning.” The new term is designed to hide the true agenda. For Globalists and radical environmentalists, the unparalleled success of the propaganda operation called COVID assures vaccinations on a scale never achieved before. It also assures the expansion of RNA technology—new vaccines and drugs which are genetic treatments designed to force the body to produce unnatural proteins. There is no end to the genetic alterations to which humans can be subjected. It stands to reason, given the history of research on depopulation vaccines, that some of those alterations are, and will be, aimed at cutting off the ability to procreate.

There were a few more lies we lived with in our Kingdom of Untruth. The Satanic Andrew Cuomo DeificationOver last summer and early fall 2020, Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo reached mythic media proportions. His ingratitude was enshrined as New York, “get-used-to-it, buddy” chutzpah. Yes, he momentarily feigned gratitude that Trump had listened to his hysterical daily rantings about the streets littered with corpses unless, right now, immediately, Trump sent a hospital ship, a tent-city hospital, thousands of ventilators, and protective equipment. And Cuomo got them all. Yet mysteriously he did not seem to use them much. As the 2020-election campaign geared up and his name was dropped as a key cabinet secretary or even VP, Cuomo dropped his daily attacks on the hapless Mayor De Blasio and turned on his former benefactor Trump. Or as NPR put it, “The regular briefings helped buoy his approval ratings in New York and make him perhaps the country’s most recognizable Democratic leader in the struggle against COVID-19.” Cuomo seemed to ride a perfect summer of better luck. No one yet really knew about his Dr. Death rerouting of infectious Covid-19 patients into the Petri-dish confines of long-term health care facilities, where thousands of weak and elderly were simply wiped out by his executive order. And the first coronavirus spike was seemingly over. Summer was passing with fewer cases, and Cuomo was yakking it up with his professional journalist brother Chris on CNN as they misled the country about their respective lack of ethics. Hollywood was enthralled with the Dr. Robert DeNiro-like tough-guy “acerbic” governor who did not suffer fools gladly. So they crowned him with an Emmy for his “masterful” press, ego-driven, narcissistic briefings and news conferences. Or in the words of the Emmy Awards CEO: “People around the world tuned in to find out what was going on, and New York tough became a symbol of the determination to fight back.” The canonized multitalented Cuomo was not only a politician who out-Trumped Trump, spat out De Blasio, and mesmerized Hollywood with live-play performances. He was also an author, a memoirist, a diarist, an analyst of leadership no less. So in the midst of the death and destruction of lives, Cuomo landed a $5-million book contract for an adding-insult-to-injury memoir American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic—a book lacking the advice, “Don’t send the infected into the uninfected rooms of elderly rest home patients,” or “How to coax an aide into playing strip poker with you.” So how does a governor find time to rewrite a memoir in the middle of a plague? (Reader, you interject here to warn me: “Come on man, Cuomo writing a memoir on the job means less people died had he had more time to exercise leadership.”) The better quandary is how does a mediocre governor find time to continue years of media-exempt sexual harassments, as a dozen women all seem to appear out of nowhere with “he touched me,” “he propositioned me,” “he embarrassed me” like revelations. At the time of his summer strutting, the media bragged on Cuomo’s appeal to women, boasting that there were now online hashtags, like #cuomosexual and #cuomocrush. For the deplorables, Cuomo was a callous blowhard, without talent other than mimicking a tough-guy New York patois, delivered to Pajama Boy and Life of Julia know-nothing journalists. The Great Dr. Fauci Icon HoaxDo we now even recall that octogenarian Anthony Fauci early on in the pandemic swore to us, from his long-held perch at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, that the Wuhan virus posed no real threat. Only the naïve would wear masks that, in truth, were mostly worthless. The World Health Organization was to be listened to, as it assured us that humans were unlikely to pass the virus on from its “bat” origins. Likewise, Fauci himself insisted that the Chinese were doing their very best at being transparent, while rallying global efforts to squelch the wet-market, break-out virus? A Wuhan level-4 virology origin? Nuts, Fauci all but said. Masks? Ugh, why not wear two, given their sudden life-saving efficacy? Herd immunity? Noble lies of 60, 70—or was it 90?—percent herd immunity was needed to stop the virus? The previously infected with COVID-19? There was no evidence of sustained immunity: so line up you previously sick, and get vaxxed asap, even though existing antibodies seemed to react badly with vaccinations. Racism? Yep, Fauci attested that racial bias explained the nation’s uneven and poor reaction to the virus (as White House advisor, did he oversee, then, such racism, did he correct it?). Operation warp speed? Don’t believe Trump: we won’t likely see a vaccination until mid-2021. Cheap, make-shift protocols that have efficacy in early stages of the virus—whether hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin? All Trump hogwash. Trust instead the pharmaceutical companies to deliver soon a multi-thousand-dollar brand antiviral injection. How about those rumors of gain-of-function research ties to Fauci’s approval of an EcoHealth Alliance grant to pay Chinese scientists to do what is banned in the US? Lies, lies, and more damnable lies. Dr. Scott Atlas? Just a public health expert, but not a beltway immunologist. So how could Atlas be right that focusing on the aged and vulnerable, wearing masks mostly only in crowded indoors as the schools and the economy opened, would in the long run save us from terrible economic damage, thousands of lives lost from delayed procedures, screenings and surgeries, spousal and familial abuse, substance abuse, and the general mayhem and insanity from a year of quarantine, recession, and panic that we now witness? How could Atlas be right that a Texas or Florida would eventually have no more deaths per million than a New York or California or New Jersey, but a far more vibrant economic recovery and kids in schools far less damaged? Fauci-mania was a 14-month, media- and leftwing-generated fantasyland, predicated on his yarn as the scientific truth-teller to the faith-healer Trump. The final irony? On most of the key issues of the pandemic, Trump’s shoot-from-the-hip, gut instinct was right and Fauci linguistic gymnastics were wrong: the virus likely did come from a leaked gain-of-function experiment in the Wuhan lab. Vaccinations would appear in 2020. There is probably some value in early use of inexpensive and mostly safe hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. Incentivizing three or four different private companies would be a superior vaccination route than relying on a state-sponsored EU, Chinese, or Russian And following an Atlas on graduated openings proved smarter than the Fauci endless quarantining and mask-wearing. A modest predication. When this entire tragedy is fully researched, documented, and published, we are going to learn astounding, radically jarring and depressing things. And, neither will Dr. Fauci be again Dr. Fauci, the wizard of the White House, nor will the Chinese be our “partners” in sleuthing out the COVID-19 origins.
