Lesbian mothers emasculate sons January 25, 2012

There has been several truly disturbing news stories of late, of lesbian couples obtaining children and then performing what I think most people would consider to be horrifying experiments on them. The couples claim that they are simply attempting to let their sons (no girls involved, naturally, for we all know that girls are born perfect, with male characteristics being extremely unsavory and worthy of destruction) determine their own gender without the pressure of social convention and societal norms. I cannot imagine the devastation that is being wrought, or how this abuse can be allowed to continue:
It’s a boy! And he’s five. Beck Laxton, 46, and partner Kieran Cooper, 44, have spent half the decade concealing the gender of their son, Sasha.
“I wanted to avoid all that stereotyping,” Laxton said in an interview with the Cambridge News. “Stereotypes seem fundamentally stupid. Why would you want to slot people into boxes?”
Sasha dresses in clothes he likes — be it a hand-me-downs from his sister or his brother. The big no-no’s are hyper-masculine outfits like skull-print shirts and cargo pants. [So, the hyper-feminine is in, but the hyper-masculine is out. Got it. But ‘Sasha’ is not being led to reject his own gender, no…….]In one photo, sent to friends and family, Sasha’s dressed in a shiny pink girl’s swimsuit. “Children like sparkly things,” says Beck. “And if someone thought Sasha was a girl because he was wearing a pink swimming costume, then what effect would that have? ” [No, they don’t. Little girls like sparkly things.]
Sasha’s also not short on dolls, though Barbie is also off limits. “She’s banned because she’s horrible,” Laxton says in the Cambridge interview.
On a macro level she hopes her son sets an example for other parents and makes them reconsider buying their own sons trucks [yes, for heaven’s sake, don’t let him have what he likes] or forcing their daughters into tights. She’s seen how those consumer trappings affect how and who kids play with in the sandbox. [Consumer ‘trappings’ has nothing to do with. Boys and girls are as different as night and day]
This isn’t just some isolated event. It’s the start of a sick, hideous trend:

Hopefully this is not true… and hopefully this child will end up rebelling against the weirdness of these pseudo-parents…. something like the man from Johnny Cash’s song: “A Boy named Sue.” I’m also reminded of Holy Scripture:
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Parents such as the ones referred to above had better listen to the words of the Prophet Isaiah!

This brings to mind the situation in India where some parents seek selective abortions and forced sex change operations on baby girls. Parents who do not simply kill their female infants often spend upwards of the equivalent of 100,000 American dollars to pay for complex surgery to reconstruct female genitalia into male genitalia. Children are also forced to consume hormones after such surgery. It should be noted that the desire for a male child is so great that even the permanent sterility of the thus reconstructed boy is no obstacle. The surgery therefore prevents a girl from growing up to be a woman capable of bringing God’s children into the world and it also prevents the then mutilated male from having the ability to have children.
There is a Jewish gloss on the biblical account of Cain and Abel. According to this Rabbinic interpretation, Cain’s sin was not in just killing his brother Abel, but in killing all actual and potential progeny of Abel to the last generation. So Cain’s sin was seen as a act of genocide.
Would it be too much to say that forcing girls to become sterile boys through surgery is also a kind of genocide that destroys the mutilated girl to destroy all her progeny to the last generation and is also a kind of genocide that destroys the progeny of the woman “she” marries down to the last generation?
The value of a girl to some Indian people is zero. I am not saying or implying that this practice is widespread. I am not saying anything against the good and holy people of India.
Behind the issue of selective abortions and forced sex change operations is the question of dowries. One wonders which family is going to allow a sterile man who was once a girl to marry their daughter. Selective abortion of females is also being done for similar reasons.
As Western society becomes more and more secular, one can only wonder when such evil deeds will become widespread in America. Sad, really sad.
What a world we live in where we teach our children to be full of self esteem while simultaneously teaching them to hate themselves (if male) or objectify themselves (if female).
Of course this is just the latest in a long line of cultural phenomena that have degraded men. Pop culture would have us believe that we are base instinct driven gorillas who are clearly less intelligent and culturally suave than our wives and children. Your average sitcom or commercial depicts the husband/father as a bumbling buffoon who would be absolutely lost without his sophisticated wife and precocious children to guide him in the ways of enlightenment.
And why is this all happening? Chesterton wisely and repeatedly illustrated that the family is the building block of society. In my opinion, these cultural attacks on men are simply attacks on the heads of the family in an effort to degrade society as a whole.
