BY DEFINITION EVERY VOCATION IS A RESPONSE TO A CALL. A CALL MAY COME FROM A GREAT VARIETY OF SOURCES. THE LURE OF ‘FAME’, ‘POPULARITY’, ‘POWER’, ‘RICHES’, ‘PLEASURE’, ETC. CAN SEEM TO ONE SEEKING TO DISCOVER THE MEANING OF HIS/HER LIFE TO BE A GENUINE ‘CALLING’ OR VOCATION. BUT I SUGGEST THAT ONLY A CALLING THAT IS DEEPLY ROOTED IN ITS ORIGIN IN PRAYER TO GOD FOR GUIDANCE CAN BE TRUSTED AS GENUINE.
