I think daily, incrementally, insidiously the number of Americans that do not believe official Ministry of Truth communiques grows larger. And, the number promulgating them for careerist purposes shrinks. The white-driven, Anti-Asian hate-crime spree lie is about dead. The data showed the very opposite: whites were under-represented as generic hate-crime perpetrators and in particular, were not responsible for the uptick of anti-Asian violence, either proportionally or in absolute numbers. African-Americans were overrepresented, both generically and especially in the case of Anti-Asian crimes. The Capitol January 6 “armed insurrection” lie (as opposed to a spontaneous mob frenzy) is dissipating, despite the Biden whopper that it was more a threat to democracy than Pearl Harbor or 9/11 (5,000 were killed on those two days). We are learning by leaks, bits, and pieces of witnesses, and an occasional honest account that there were no armed insurrectionary “leaders”; no protestor, however frenzied, killed anyone. Indeed, the only violent death was an unarmed, female, veteran shot and killed by a — mysteriously unnamed–Capitol officer. No Capitol officer was murdered by Trump crazies. No one was arrested with a firearm. No one any longer believes the government-peddled great vaccination myth that systemic racism harms the marginalized from becoming vaccinated while recalcitrant white neanderthals endanger us all by conspiratorially refusing vaccination. In truth, there are plenty of vaccination spots everywhere now (one can walk into a pharmacy without an appointment and get a shot in minutes here in rural Fresno County). Whites have a higher percentage of being vaccinated than Hispanics and blacks. And there are cultural and historical reasons, not current bias or racism, for the reluctance of such groups. The big lie is based on a measurement of those who were actually vaccinated rather than the availability of vaccinations to all, regardless of race. In California, from the very beginning, there were efforts to target minority/majority communities, and to add in groups other than adjudicated by age (which is an equal-opportunity co-morbidity of COVID-19). Moreover, the media theme that a bunch of white deplorable nuts are endangering us all by not getting vaccinated, while historically oppressed minorities are not, by not getting vaccinated is simply eroding. With the government, on the one hand, worried sick that millions of doses will go unused, and with media hysterias on the other that the drug stores are wasting thousands of vaccinations that go unused, it is impossible to juggle the misinformation by simultaneously claiming that some minority groups are going unvaccinated because greedy whites grabbed all the doses and thus got vaccinated at disproportionate rates. So, each day, as the woke Minster of Truth narratives mount so does the skepticism of a public weary of the propaganda. We are becoming cynical 1980s Eastern Europeans who quietly scoffed at their daily government news. And this is step one to a repudiation of the lies we have been living with— ● that masks were necessary outdoors even for those fully vaccinated; ● that derelict, sexual harasser Andrew Cuomo is a noted author, Emmy-winner and national icon rather than a reckless sexual-harasser and responsible for needless death and misery by his unhinged, long-term facilities, policies; ● that Oprah, LeBron, and the Obamas are genuine voices of what it is like to be oppressed in America and all the subsidiary untruths: ● that the “brave” former intelligence officials who signed campaign-sensitive affidavits seconding Joe Biden’s insistence that Hunter’s laptop was a Russian disinformation trick; ● that Trump scoffed at “proof” that Russians put bounties on Americans in Afghanistan as they were appeased; and, ● that Joe Biden has no cognitive issues and never did, at least of the sort that prompted his predecessor to take cognitive tests and draw the attention of a Yale psychiatry professor to diagnose him as unhinged in absentia. In sum, the woke movement daily, hourly, second-by-second, hinges on untruth, from the 1619 canard to America is systemically racist. And, the number who spot the lies is beginning to outnumber the number who live by them—which means the Revolution is likely to follow the Jacobin rather than Bolshevik fate.

He teaches: “If their participation in the evil of abortion is not addressed forthrightly by their pastors, this can lead Catholics (and others) to assume that the moral teaching of the Catholic Church on the inviolate sanctity of human life is not seriously held.”Cordileone is correct, but I would suggest that the world—including far too many Catholics, ordained and otherwise—has waxed cold to these truths for more than half a century, if not longer. When Cordileone writes of justice and truth, too many Catholics—including many bishops—are only comfortable talking about issues and politics.According to news sources, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops was expected to issue some sort of document on the worthiness to receive Communion, but now it seems as if it will not be doing so in the near future. Apparently the USCCB is interested in talking about political matters but not in having the conversation about worthiness to receive Communion.This is strange since there is no need for anyone to have meetings to discuss this truth set forth by St. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians: “Therefore anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily is answerable for the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone is to examine himself and only then eat of the bread or drink from the cup; because a person who eats and drinks without recognizing the body is eating and drinking his own condemnation. That is why many of you are weak and ill and a good number have died.”St. Paul is very clear, while collectively the bishops appear to be muddled, having conversations about ancillary matters rather than the one thing that truly matters—reverence for the body and blood of Christ.In this sad scenario, is it any wonder that one Catholic university conducted a conference on the Catholic Church and the Biden effect?Perhaps the USCCB has not noticed that, when Catholic president Joe Biden did nothing about the federal government’s involvement in the purchase of “fresh” flesh from aborted children, his press secretary made it a point to state that Biden “respectfully disagrees” with the bishops about fetal tissue research!Or perhaps conversations about greenhouse gases matter more to the USCCB than the babies dying as our Catholic president looks on, continuing his support for Planned Parenthood and its allies.We hear a great deal today about having conversations, but those discussions should never suggest that there is anything debatable about killing a baby prior to birth. Ethics Of Fetal Research Under Biden May 4, 2021 Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on the Biden administration’s biological ethics: Two years ago, a jury awarded $58 million in damages to ten plaintiffs after finding that the Phoenix-based Biological Resource Center had deceived families into donating the body of a deceased family member. The families thought the body would be used for medical research. Instead, the bodies were dismembered and sold for profit. FBI agents raided the facility in 2014 and found chopped up bodies in buckets, including feet, shoulders, legs, and spines. Freezers were packed with penises. They even found a torso with a different head sewn on, reminiscent of “Frankenstein.” The owner of the human chop shop, Stephen Gore, was convicted of deceiving the families who donated the body; he also broke the law by deceiving the buyers who were sold body parts with infectious diseases. How could something like this happen? It’s actually not hard to understand. When we objectify human beings, treating them as inanimate objects, such practices logically follow. The Catholic Church has a long and proud record of opposing attempts to dehumanize men, women, and children, ranging from denouncing pagan practices such as infanticide to Nazi eugenics. Their latest salvo is a shot at the Biden administration for lifting limits on human fetal research that were placed by the Trump administration. Archbishop Joseph Naumann, chairman of the bishops’ conference on Pro-Life Activities, released a statement on April 21 that was superb. “The bodies of children killed by abortion deserve the same respect as that of any other person. Our government has no right to treat innocent abortion victims as a commodity that can be scavenged for body parts to be used for research. It is unethical to promote and subsidize research that can lead to legitimizing the violence of abortion.” White House press secretary Jan Psaki was asked about this statement on April 27. She said the White House “respectfully disagrees,” explaining that “it’s important to invest in science and look for opportunities to cure diseases.” As expected, Psaki never acknowledged the humanity of the unborn child. She can’t. If she did, the Biden administration’s extreme pro-abortion agenda would implode. It’s easy to ignore the humanity of the unborn if we call fetal tissue “material.” That was the choice of words selected by Planned Parenthood in the 1970s. In the 1980s, Newsweek described the dismembered body of an unborn baby extracted in a D&E abortion as “fetal material being pulled from a woman’s vagina.” In the same decade, Rachel Conrad Wahlberg, an abortion-rights advocate, contended that the unborn do not have an independent existence. Referring to the pregnant woman, she said, “It is hers. It is her possession (italic in the original).” The same mindset marked the Dred Scott decision that legalized slavery. In the Supreme Court decision of 1857, the court affirmed public opinion by noting that black people were “articles of property and merchandise.” Nearly 400 blacks were used as guinea pigs in the infamous Tuskegee experiment that began in 1932. For 40 years, rural sharecroppers who took part in the experiment never knew they had syphilis, nor were treated for it. They were not seen as human beings with rights equal to that of others. After World War I, prisoners in San Quentin received transplanted sex organs from rams, goats, and boors. Tuberculosis treatments were tested on other prisoners. Inmates of Stateville Correctional Center in Illinois were exposed to malaria in the hope that a cure could be found. The drug companies had a field day experimenting on the incarcerated, and did so without controversy right up until the 1970s. Not only were prisoners seen as subhuman, so were mentally retarded children. From the mid-1950s to 1970, those housed at Willowbrook State School in Staten Island, New York were infected with hepatitis so that doctors could track the spread of the viral infection. More than 700 children were infected to see how they responded to a drug treatment. After what Jews went through at the hands of Nazi physician Josef Mengele—he performed painful and often deadly experiments on twins—it led to the establishment of the Nuremberg Code, a guideline for conducting research on humans. The first stricture insists that the subject must provide consent before the research can begin. A child in his mother’s womb can never give consent. Archbishop Naumann got it right when he said “it is deeply offensive to millions of Americans for our tax dollars to be used for research that collaborates with an industry built on the taking of innocent lives.” Worse, this morally indefensible decision was rendered by our “devout Catholic” president. Today, renowned statistician Dr. William Briggs, who is a consultant and adjunct Professor of Statistics at Cornell University with specialties in medicine and philosophy of science, gave a list of the negative effects of the mask and why it’s a cult:
Many countries introduced the requirement to wear masks in public spaces for containing SARS-CoV-2 making it commonplace in 2020…For a quantitative evaluation, 44 mostly experimental studies were referenced, and for a substantive evaluation, 65 publications were found. The literature revealed relevant adverse effects of masks in numerous disciplines. In this paper, we refer to the psychological and physical deterioration as well as multiple symptoms described because of their consistent, recurrent and uniform presentation from different disciplines as a Mask-Induced Exhaustion Syndrome (MIES).
We objectified evaluation evidenced changes in respiratory physiology of mask wearers with significant correlation of O2 drop and fatigue (p < 0.05), a clustered co-occurrence of respiratory impairment and O2 drop (67%), N95 mask and CO2 rise (82%), N95 mask and O2 drop (72%), N95 mask and headache (60%), respiratory impairment and temperature rise (88%), but also temperature rise and moisture (100%) under the masks. Extended mask-wearing by the general population could lead to relevant effects and consequences in many medical fields.
Here’s the list of negative effects, documented across many papers (from their Figure 2, which I wish was a Table): lowered O2, uppered CO2, increased humidity and temp, increased breathing resistance, increased respiratory rate, increased blood pressure, cerebral vasodilation, increased heart rate, respiratory impairment, exhaustion and fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, psycho-vegetative effect (my favorite), decrease in empathy (brother!), itch, skin irritation, acne, rhinitis, voice disorder, false sense of security (ahem), bacterial contamination, fungal contamination, and, the best for last, viral contamination.

New York Daily News reported that the fifty year-old Novus Ordo Mass is destroying the Catholic Church in America “[s]ince the 1960s, Mass attendance has plummeted, from around 70% of U.S. Catholics every Sunday and Holy Day.”
Ironically, however, the anti-Latin Mass Francis has inadvertently caused “a counterrevolution of sorts” that may overthrow the Novus Ordo Mass:

The Catholic Herald revealed that in the United States the Traditional Latin Mass attendees are the future real Catholics of the Church which will eventually out number the Novus Ordo Mass (NOM) attendees.
It appears that if the trend continues the Novus Ordo Mass may be overthrown by sheer numbers.

New York Daily News reported that the fifty year-old Novus Ordo Mass is destroying the Catholic Church in America “[s]ince the 1960s, Mass attendance has plummeted, from around 70% of U.S. Catholics every Sunday and Holy Day.”
Ironically, however, the anti-Latin Mass Francis has inadvertently caused “a counterrevolution of sorts” that may overthrow the Novus Ordo Mass:

The Catholic Herald revealed that in the United States the Traditional Latin Mass attendees are the future real Catholics of the Church which will eventually out number the Novus Ordo Mass (NOM) attendees.
It appears that if the trend continues the Novus Ordo Mass may be overthrown by sheer numbers.

Opinion polls, particularly in the buildup to a presidential election, are not designed to reflect public opinion, but instead to shape it. For the media, objectivity is only of historic interest, a journalistic tenet from a bygone era. Now, most of the media is embedded within the Democrat party, serving as an advocacy arm or political action committee to influence elections and agendas. A CNN staffer, who bragged that he was “one step down” from a director, admitted to an undercover Tinder date, actually a real journalist working for James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, that CNN was “creating a story” that “we didn’t know anything about,” calling it “propaganda” to help remove President Trump from office. The epitome of fake news. Fake news media have many gaslighting tools at their disposal. Some outlets doctor audio or videotapes to make their “bad guy” appear racist or doing something illegal. Or, they make their “good guy” look like Mother Teresa. Recipients of this treatment range from law enforcement and Ferguson’s Gentle Giant Michael Brown, to George Zimmerman, and even President Donald Trump. Many cable news channels or newspapers simply say or print falsehoods, as in Trump-Russia collusion, Russian bounties on American soldiers, or the cause of death of a Capitol Police officer. The error or correction, if acknowledged at all, is relegated to a couple of lines buried in the back of the newspaper several days or more later. Opinion polls are a well-known and effective method of shaping opinion. These methods have been well described and include sampling whoever answers the phone versus likely voters, the latter being a practice of Rasmussen Reports in their high accuratepresidential opinion polls. Oversampling Democrats is another fraudulent way to produce a poll result favoring the DNC media agenda. President Biden last week addressed Congress, at least those select few members invited to listen to Sleepy Joe propose new spending in excess of $4 trillion, an amount larger than what the federal government takes in annually through already-confiscatory taxes. Despite most or all members of Congress, as well as the president and vice president, already being vaccinated, the sparse audience was wearing masks and sitting at least six feet apart. If fully vaccinated, why were the attendees acting as though they were not? If the government message is that the vaccine works and everyone should take it, why are the top government leaders sending the opposite message? Cable news anchors from CNN and MSNBC, joined by Fox News’s Chris Wallace, were gushing over Biden’s speech, some nearly in tears, a far cry from any Trump speech reaction over the past four years. CNN commissioned a poll to support their lovefest over Biden’s spendfest speech. Their headline on the day after Biden’s speech was “7 in 10 who watched say Biden’s speech left them feeling optimistic.” Start with the bit about “who watched.” How many Americans gave up an hour of their evening to watch what the media thought was a speech on par with Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech? Not too many. Charlie Kirk tweeted out TV ratings for presidential addresses.Trump 17—48,000,000Trump 18—46,000,000Trump 19—46,800,000Trump 20—37,200,000Biden 21—11,600,000 The last figure was the sum total of the three main legacy television networks – CBS, ABC, and NBC, plus Fox News. Nielsen reports the audience from more sources at 26.9 million. Either way, Biden drew considerably less of the audience that Trump did in his first congressional address and far less than in Trump’s final address, even when cable media are included. As the Last Refuge noted, that’s over a 60% decrease in viewership. No crowds ever attended his rallies. There was no crowd at his installation. There are no views for his online speeches. The audiences for his regular speeches are non-existent. Virtually no viewers at home. An empty chamber for his speech,… and yet we are to believe he received 81 million votes. At least China Joe beat the Oscars, which had only 9.85 million viewers, down 58 percent from last year’s all-time low. Perhaps the woke leftists in Hollywood and the White House are not as popular as CNN believes they are. Back to the poll, commissioned by CNN, conducted by SSRS Opinion Panel: The sample was 589 respondents, only slightly more than the size of the U.S. Congress. Of those surveyed, 45 percent identified as Democrat compared to 23 percent as Republican, a two-fold difference. Is it any wonder that seven out of 10 gave the speech a thumbs up? They should have saved money and just surveyed the CNN newsroom, getting the same or an even more favorable result. Did they survey anyone living on the Southern border? Or in cities ravaged by a year of protests and riots, encouraged by Biden’s Democrat party? Or those minding their own business yet accused of being racist white supremacists by the woke-stasi? Let’s not just pick on CNN. CBS pushed its own gaslighting poll, carried out by YouGov. Their headline, post-speech, was, “Most viewers approve of Biden’s speech.” CBS reported 85 percent of speech watchers approved of Biden’s speech. Who were those speech watchers, aside from the CBS newsroom? CBS’s sample was even more skewed than CNN’s with 54 percent Democrats and only 18 percent Republicans, a three-fold difference. Why not just poll speech attendees, mostly Democrats with a handful of stealth Democrats like Sen. Mitt Romney or Chief Justice John Roberts? The result would be the same. Even left-wing Snopes called out the media, rating as “false” the assertion that 85 percent of Americans approved of Biden’s speech. When the gaslighting media loses Snopes, you know they have crossed the Rubicon of credibility. To paraphrase George Orwell, all opinions are equal, but some are more equal than others. It’s the “more equal” opinions with which the media will gaslight the public, that everyone loves Biden and is so relieved that Trump is out of office. Trump and his supporters must not only be defeated but also erased, relegated to a four-year blip in history, an anomaly, temporarily interrupting the ruling class’s 16-year plan for the great reset. Expect this to continue, for as long as Biden remains in the White House, with the only pushback being lawsuits by Project Veritas and declining ratings for left-wing cable news shows. Elected Republicans wring their hands, but are incapable of pushing back. Turn off the news, award shows, and professional sports. These no longer entertain. They just preach virtue-signaling propaganda and are as appealing as a nagging mother-in-law. If you love America and the Constitution, if you supported President Trump, or if you are simply minding your own business as a conservative, the ruling class loathes you. Don’t give them TV ratings or even the time of day. Let them gaslight only themselves and those in their left-wing bubble.

Following the drafting of the Constitution in 1787, a Mrs. Elizabeth Powel queried Benjamin Franklin to this effect: What have we got, a monarchy or a republic? His reply put responsibility for America’s future success squarely on our shoulders as citizens. It was: “A republic, Madam, if you can keep it.” Unfortunately, 245 years later a deep schism exists between two basic factions in America: those citizens with time-honored and time-proven uniquely American values versus those with decidedly un-American values who would make us into a socialist state. Unimpeachable evidence of that lies in the events of the presidential election of 2020. If we are to keep our democratic republic, “We, the People” must act, wisely and responsibly. Our future depends on the character of the individual American citizen as evidenced by our morality, intellect, strength, patriotism, drive and action. Speaking on the responsibilities of citizens in a democratic republic, Theodore Roosevelt noted“Courage, intellect, all the masterful qualities, serve but to make a man more evil if they are merely used for that man’s own advancement, with brutal indifference to the rights of others. It speaks ill for the community if the community worships these qualities and treats their possessors as heroes regardless of whether the qualities are used rightly or wrongly.” Evidence abounds that many in positions of public responsibility are using those valued characteristics wrongly, and many of the rest of us are “worshipping” those who are using good qualities for self-serving purposes. It appears that in 21st Century America we have descended to the challenging condition described by Rudyard Kipling in his poem “If”: “. . .If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, and stoop and build ‘em up with worn out tools . . .” It is time to “stoop and build” if we are to remain “one Nation under God” — the democratic republic to which we pledge allegiance. The bedrock upon which America is based is being ground to sand in a kind of a socio-political tectonic plate shift. Our traditional American values and our moral underpinnings are being attacked from many directions, among them: malfeasance at the highest levels of our heretofore most trusted parts of government; lawsuits and an impeachment undertaking based on lies; responsible parties languishing unscathed (to date); and the media writ large has abandoned its essential role of providing the populace with facts clearly separated from opinion. Instead we see and hear “news” heavily laden with one-sided political opinion. In the constantly churning cyber world we seek truth but find mostly mirages constructed by cyber nymphs and delivered in the name of people of substance to seek believability and add to the chaos. We are at a strategic inflection point, and we can choose our path. We can either continue the slide away from the moral absolutes of truth and into ever-shifting amoral morass of contemporary relativity wherein values are redefined to fit the moment and history is rewritten to fit the fancies of those who would change America. Or we can reemphasize the values and principles upon which America accomplished its unequaled growth and success. We the people hold the keys to renewal. High character counts because it facilitates trust. As Mr. George Schultz recently opined in his 100 year birthday review of the most important things he has learned in his life: “Trust is the coin of the realm”. Trust is the fundamental element in all human relationships. It is essential in all aspects of governance. Trust is based upon commonly observed, understood and shared values as well as the operating principles which stem from them. It is the base upon which our nation of laws rests. It is enabled, fostered, nurtured and taught among people of integrity and high character. It is often confounded by the nature of the internet, errors made in the rush to get a “scoop”, and plain dishonesty. This has led to events over the past four years which clearly indicate trust is waning in our politics and in other public activities at the national, state and local levels. We are suffering for it and we must do what we can to set things right. Citizens of character are the essential elements comprising our nation. In his epochal address to the French political and educational leaders noted above, President T. R. Roosevelt remarked on the responsibilities of citizens in a democratic republic. He stated the success of this most gigantic of all possible social experiments called a democratic republic depends entirely upon the character of the individual citizens. In his words: “above mind and above body stands character—the sum of those qualities which we mean when we speak of a man’s force and courage, of his good faith and sense of honor. . .[it] must show itself in the man’s performance both of the duty he owes himself and of the duty he owes the state.” That character must be high, and the character of the leaders must be that much higher. In Roosevelt’s remarks one finds the elements of character to be self governance – – the drive to meet the challenges of life daily, carry our own weight, and to make a positive contribution to community; strength – -moral,intellectual, and physical; patriotism – – born of a thorough understanding of our history and of our enduring values and principles – – and exhibited as a commitment both to live according to those principles and to teach them to others; and action – – appropriate for the times and proportionate to one’s level of influence – – to ensure those values and principles obtain. And what of those oft-mentioned, seldom-defined values? Those which undergird our principles, contribute to the character traits above and guide us as we simultaneously exercise our right to pursue Happiness and take on the Constitution’s charge to form a more perfect union. Foremost is Honor, a keen sense of ethical conduct; Courage, the moral, mental and physical drive to act ethically and effectively in all circumstances; Commitment, a strong sense of our Founders’ “all in” dedication to the success of our Nation. Other values which contribute to strong citizens and leaders include but are not limited to integrity, honesty, humility, industry, responsibility, accountability, cheerfulness and respect. These we expect to see in our elected leaders whose responsibility it is to set the proper example for us at all times. . .to “walk the talk”. Shakespeare’s “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark” describes what we face in America today. I fear our elected and appointed leaders on several levels from local to national have let us down – – through acts charitably classed as honest mistakes for which we must allow; but more accurately and more often, through malfeasance driven by what appears to be a desire to fundamentally change the nature of our democratic republic and make it into a socialist state. As a result of this assault on our values and moral underpinnings, we are at a watershed moment, a strategic inflection point, in our history. It is most clearly reflected in the events associated with the 2020 presidential election, an exercise of the rights of citizenship. Rights of citizens carry with them responsibility. So it is with voting. The right to vote for our leaders in our democratic republic is also a responsibility entrusted to each and every citizen of the nation. This relationship is fundamental to who we are as a nation. . . a sacred right, a solemn responsibility . . . an essential fiber in the tapestry that is our society. In execution, it demands high character both in those who vote and especially in those who administer the system and count the votes. The events associated with the 2020 presidential election indicate that the integrity of our electoral process has been seriously injured and that tapestry weakened. Apparent efforts, substantiated by countless affidavits of honest and honorable witnesses, to create a false impression of the will of our people destroys the trust our citizens must have in the sanctity of the electoral process. The Texas lawsuit recently filed and supported by other states petitioned the United States Supreme Court to address these concerns. The petition was denied. If the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear this intra-national suit was made out of a fear of potential civil unrest – – rioting, looting, and arson, as found recently in cities like Portland Oregon–then our national character is called into question. Activities are either legal or they are not. If they are illegal and physically or morally injurious, they must be identified and stopped at once else they grow as a cancer in the body of our society. Adherence to the rule of law is a fundamental tenet of our society. Those who ignore or abrogate the law are further grinding away at the bedrock upon which our national society rests. Failure to defend the electoral process from illegal efforts to gain political power, and failure to identify, arrest and prosecute those terrorizing local communities based upon some bastardized notion of freedom of speech and expression, will rot the fabric of our society. These activities, in particular, disrespect and disregard the rights of others. They materially and psychologically impede ongoing efforts to achieve the first goal in the preamble to the constitution: to form a more perfect union. Recent events reveal evidence that dark forces of decidedly unAmerican character are at work as described above to fundamentally alter the nature of our nation and that union. Those forces must be met with strength. We must not shirk or shrink from this task! And our efforts should include “all hands”. Elected and appointed officeholders, look in the mirror; ask yourself three questions: do you fully understand the standards expected of you by our founders and by the people who have put you into office? are you living up to those standards, are you a servant leader? And do you keep faith with those you serve by subjecting yourself to the same conditions you create for them? As Thomas Jefferson remarked: “If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed.” So, we citizens must make a similar analytical assessment. Are we each “self governing”– knowledgeable of and committed to fulfilling our responsibilities as citizens? Are we morally, intellectually and physically strong? Do we know enough about our history – – how our nation was founded, the values and principles upon which it is based – – and do we live those values daily and teach them to others? Is our educational system teaching them as they were ordained? Can we realistically call ourselves patriotic? It’s much more than just waving a flag. Are we active at our chosen level of engagement whether it be in the family or neighborhood or at some higher level? Are we “all in”- – in trace of our Founders who pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor in support of the Idea of America as expressed in our Declaration of Independence? As President Reagan noted years ago: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.” Citizenship obviously is not a sport or game. It is a way of life enabled by the Idea of America and sustained by the Nation created to nurture, protect and defend it. The Idea of America depends on citizens of high character for its success and survival. There is and can be only one Idea of America. Established in our Declaration of Independence, it defines our freedoms. Our Constitution, the fundamental law of the land, is designed to guide us in our quest to live in and to protect our freedoms. Hewing to our Founders’ guidance for 245 years, we have been a beacon of hope for freedom-loving people everywhere. We have fought repeatedly over our history to preserve our nation and our associated freedoms. And we have vanquished those enemies who would dominate and change us. Challenges to our freedoms occur ideologically, diplomatically, economically and kinetically. They are constant. We are in yet another, more murky, technology-driven cyber-clad contest for our future today. In that struggle there are domestic enemies of our freedoms seeking to subvert, convert or conquer us; we must find them and vanquish them as well. In particular, those who would interfere in the essential election process in any way threaten our survival. They must be identified, stopped, and brought to justice. So what are we to do? How do we make a difference? Consider the “Idea of America” as a virtual entity, comprised of our citizenry – – body, mind and spirit. In a bit of a stretch, borrow from the hard science of physics and apply the concept of a vector to society. Why? A vector has magnitude and direction. As a society, so do we. If we apply the vector model to the soft science of sociology and to the Idea of America, then the magnitude (physical mass and energy) of the Idea of America is “We, the People” – – individually and collectively; and our direction is that given us by our founding fathers. For decades they studied human nature and behavior as they considered how to govern in a way that keeps order in a society which treasures individual freedom. The wisdom in their guidance is more needed today than at any other time since our founding. And we citizens need the individual and collective discipline to follow that guidance. Citizens of high character are the American Vector. . .the engine with power to drive us to the future. What must we do to continue our rising trajectory as a democratic republic? How do we fuel ourselves? Study the essentials—our history as it unfolded, mistakes and all; and the logic behind our Founders’ decisions and actions. Demand our educational system teach our children all the facts of our history, truthfully, changing none. Rededicate ourselves to the values and principles which have fueled our many successes to date. Live them. Teach them. Learn the fundamental rules of governance, suit up, saddle up and take action. In our acting, we must focus on the “what”, and not the “who”. Our political discourse has devolved from thoughtful discussions of ideas, values, principles and activities necessary to sustain and grow America to ad hominem, high decibel, nano-second political power rants which give life to lies and fuel discord. We need to return to civility and patriotic purpose in our discussions and give ourselves time to think. Not every decision needs to be made “yesterday”. America is our nation. It will be what we make it. And we will leave to our successors the fruits of our labors. There are forces relentlessly at work that would turn us into a socialist state, bankrupt us, and steal our freedoms. That’s wrong! As Roosevelt said,”. . .no self-respecting individual, no self-respecting nation, can or ought to submit to wrong.” Let’s contribute to forming a more perfect union – – one based on the values established a quarter millennium ago and applicable to our human nature which remains unchanged over more than 6000 years. Let’s make sure we live those values every day and demand of those in positions of public responsibility that they do the same! Today we are the frog in the timeless “boiling the frog” analogy. Let us get out of the proverbial political pan taking shape around us and stand for our nation. There will likely continue a “set piece” battle at the national political level. And it is likely to be ugly. But the battle for America’s soul will be conducted at the grass roots level by informing, coaching and coaxing each other to study our history, to recognize the essence of our Founding Fathers’ wisdom and to stay active by setting a proper example for others, especially our youth. We must labor to keep the Idea of America alive and healthy. One citizen at a time, one day at a time. United by our sense of honor. Guided by the wisdom of our Founders. Powered by our courage. Committed to success. With civility at the interpersonal level – – focus on the “what” and avoid the blaming intrinsic in attacking the “who”. It starts with you and me. As we review our beginning of-the-year days of resolution-making, we must make our most important one be for America’s future. Learn. Think. Reflect. Act. Don’t wait. Fight’s on! It’s not of our choosing, but the struggle is real and we must win it.

The future of the Catholic Church will be through the traditional Roman rite, Carmelite rite, Dominican rite, Carthusian rite, Sarum rite, Braga rite, Iberian rite, and all other legitimate ancient rites of the complex patrimony of our western Christendom.
The future never was, nor ever will be, actualized through rationalistically inspired iconoclasm concerning liturgy and the undermining orthodoxy and orthopraxy by Modernist clerics and their Masonic allies, who have demonically sought to accommodate to an ideological secularism and all that this implies.

New York Daily News reported that the fifty year-old Novus Ordo Mass is destroying the Catholic Church in America “[s]ince the 1960s, Mass attendance has plummeted, from around 70% of U.S. Catholics every Sunday and Holy Day.”
Ironically, however, the anti-Latin Mass Francis has inadvertently caused “a counterrevolution of sorts” that may overthrow the Novus Ordo Mass:
“Fifty years ago this weekend, the Catholic Church debuted a new version of Mass following reforms made by the 1960s’ Second Vatican Council. From the use of vernacular language instead of Latin, to the priest facing the people instead of the tabernacle, the changes became mandatory at all parishes on the First Sunday of Advent 1969.”
“… The resurgence of the traditional Latin Mass started before Francis, but has seen unprecedented growth during his papacy, a counterrevolution of sorts that some (both admirably and critically) call an alternative Francis effect. Even bishops and priests who were not ordinarily interested in the traditional Latin Mass have been much more generous and vocal in offering additional such liturgies. Two distinct wings of the Catholic Church have emerged. Often, the new versus the old Mass is a defining characteristic of the opposing coalitions.”
“… But after five decades of experiments and decline, there is some growth to be observed within the Catholic Church. Ironically, it is with traditionalists joining the priesthood, entering convents and attending parishes that offer the very Latin Mass that was replaced 50 years ago.”
The Catholic Herald revealed that in the United States the Traditional Latin Mass attendees are the future real Catholics of the Church which will eventually out number the Novus Ordo Mass (NOM) attendees.
It appears that if the trend continues the Novus Ordo Mass may be overthrown by sheer numbers.
Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) attendees are over overwhelmingly real Catholics while New Mass or Novus Ordo Mass (NOM) attendees tend to be lapsed and heretical Catholics according to a new study by Fr. Donald Kloster:
