A former top Catholic cardinal is suspected of using Vatican funds to bribe witnesses in the sex-abuse trial of his rival, Cardinal George Pell, whose conviction was recently overturned.

Cardinal Giovanni Angelo Becciu, 72, the Holy See’s former secretariat of state who was forced to resign on Sept. 24, is accused in a dossier of evidence compiled by Vatican prosecutors of wiring more than $800,000 to help sway the testimony against Pell’s case, The Times of London reported, citing the Italian newspapers Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica.

Becciu, according to leaked documents obtained by the newspapers, allegedly used the payments in a bid to secure a conviction and squander efforts by Pell — who served as finance minister at the Vatican — to probe Vatican funds, according to the report.

“I categorically deny interfering in any way in the trial of Cardinal Pell,” Becciu insisted.

Pell’s push for more transparency of Vatican funds threatened to shed a light on Becciu’s alleged financial mismanagement.

Becciu, during his time as deputy secretariat of state, is suspected of funneling Vatican money to businesses and charities headed by his three brothers. He also oversaw a multimillion-dollar investment in luxury property in London that netted millions for consultants, but lost the Vatican money, according to the reports.

Pell, an Australian, in 2016 ordered an external accounting firm to audit Vatican finances — but Becciu blocked the move.

Pell was convicted by a Victoria state jury in 2018 of sexually abusing two 13-year-old choirboys in Melbourne in December 1996 while he was archbishop. He was also convicted of indecently assaulting one of the boys by squeezing his genitals after a Mass in 1997.

He spent 13 months in prison in Australia before his convictions were overturned.

The High Court found there was reasonable doubt surrounding the testimony of a witness that Pell had abused him and another choirboy.

With 30-days left before the election perhaps it’s worthwhile remembering what all of this opposition is about…. Something 99% of American voters do not quite understand.

Congress doesn’t actually write legislation. The last item of legislation written by congress was sometime around the mid 1990’s. Modern legislation is sub-contracted to a segment of DC operations known as K-Street. That’s where the lobbyists reside.

Lobbyists write the laws; congress sells the laws; lobbyists then pay congress lucrative commissions for passing their laws. That’s the modern legislative business in DC.

When we talk about paying-off politicians in third-world countries we call it bribery. However, when we undertake the same process in the U.S. we call it “lobbying”.

CTH often describes the system with the phrase: “There are Trillions at Stake.” The process of creating legislation is behind that phrase. DC politics is not quite based on the ideas that frame most voter’s reference points.

With people taking notice of DC politics for the first time; and with people not as familiar with the purpose of DC politics; perhaps it is valuable to provide clarity.

Most people think when they vote for a federal politician -a House or Senate representative- they are voting for a person who will go to Washington DC and write or enact legislation. This is the old-fashioned “schoolhouse rock” perspective based on decades past. There is not a single person in congress writing legislation or laws.

In modern politics not a single member of the House of Representatives or Senator writes a law, or puts pen to paper to write out a legislative construct. This simply doesn’t happen.

Over the past several decades a system of constructing legislation has taken over Washington DC that more resembles a business operation than a legislative body. Here’s how it works right now.

Outside groups, often called “special interest groups”, are entities that represent their interests in legislative constructs. These groups are often representing foreign governments, Wall Street multinational corporations, banks, financial groups or businesses; or smaller groups of people with a similar connection who come together and form a larger group under an umbrella of interest specific to their affiliation.

Sometimes the groups are social interest groups; activists, climate groups, environmental interests etc. The social interest groups are usually non-profit constructs who depend on the expenditures of government to sustain their cause or need.

The for-profit groups (mostly business) have a purpose in Washington DC to shape policy, legislation and laws favorable to their interests. They have fully staffed offices just like any business would – only their ‘business‘ is getting legislation for their unique interests.

These groups are filled with highly-paid lawyers who represent the interests of the entity and actually write laws and legislation briefs.

In the modern era this is actually the origination of the laws that we eventually see passed by congress. Within the walls of these buildings within Washington DC is where the ‘sausage’ is actually made.

Again, no elected official is usually part of this law origination process.

Almost all legislation created is not ‘high profile’, they are obscure changes to current laws, regulations or policies that no-one pays attention to. The passage of the general bills within legislation is not covered in media. Ninety-nine percent of legislative activity happens without anyone outside the system even paying any attention to it.

Once the corporation or representative organizational entity has written the law they want to see passed – they hand it off to the lobbyists.

The lobbyists are people who have deep contacts within the political bodies of the legislative branch, usually former House/Senate staff or former House/Senate politicians themselves.

The lobbyist takes the written brief, the legislative construct, and it’s their job to go to congress and sell it.

“Selling it” means finding politicians who will accept the brief, sponsor their bill and eventually get it to a vote and passage. The lobbyist does this by visiting the politician in their office, or, most currently familiar, by inviting the politician to an event they are hosting. The event is called a junket when it involves travel.

Often the lobbying “event” might be a weekend trip to a ski resort, or a “conference” that takes place at a resort. The actual sales pitch for the bill is usually not too long and the majority of the time is just like a mini vacation etc.

The size of the indulgence within the event, the amount of money the lobbyist is spending, is customarily related to the scale of benefit within the bill the sponsoring business entity is pushing. If the sponsoring business or interest group can gain a lot of financial benefit from the legislation they spend a lot on the indulgences.

Recap: Corporations, mostly modern multinationals (special interest group), write the legislation. The corporations then contract the lobbyists. Lobbyists then take the law and go find politician(s) to support it. Politicians get support from their peers using tenure and status etc. Eventually, if things go according to norm, the legislation gets a vote.

Within every step of the process there are expense account lunches, dinners, trips, venue tickets and a host of other customary financial way-points to generate/leverage a successful outcome. The amount of money spent is proportional to the benefit derived from the outcome.

The important part to remember is that the origination of the entire process is EXTERNAL to congress.

Congress does not write laws or legislation, special interest groups do. Lobbyists are paid, some very well paid, to get politicians to go along with the need of the legislative group.

When you are voting for a Congressional Rep or a U.S. Senator you are not voting for a person who will write laws. Your rep only votes on legislation to approve or disapprove of constructs that are written by outside groups and sold to them through lobbyists who work for those outside groups.

While all of this is happening the same outside groups who write the laws are providing money for the campaigns of the politicians they need to pass them. This construct sets up the quid-pro-quo of influence, although much of it is fraught with plausible deniability.

This is the way legislation is created.

If your frame of reference is not established in this basic understanding you can often fall into the trap of viewing a politician, or political vote, through a false prism.

The modern origin of all legislative constructs is not within congress.

Once you understand this process you can understand how politicians get rich.

When a House or Senate member becomes educated on the intent of the legislation, they have attended the sales pitch; and when they find out the likelihood of support for that legislation; they can then position their own (or their families) financial interests to benefit from the consequence of passage. It is a process similar to insider trading on Wall Street, except the trading is based on knowing who will benefit from a legislative passage.

The legislative construct passes from K-Street into the halls of congress through congressional committees. The law originates from the committee to the full House or Senate. Committee seats which vote on these bills are therefore more valuable to the lobbyists. Chairs of these committees are exponentially more valuable.

Now, think about this reality against the backdrop of the 2016 Presidential Election. Legislation is passed based on ideology. In the aftermath of the 2016 election the system within DC was not structurally set-up to receive a Donald Trump presidency.

If Hillary Clinton had won the election, her Oval Office desk would be filled with legislation passed by congress which she would have been signing. Heck, she’d have writer’s cramp from all of the special interest legislation, driven by special interest groups that supported her campaign, that would be flowing to her desk.

Why?

Simply because the authors of the legislation, the originating special interest and lobbying groups, were spending millions to fund her campaign. Hillary Clinton would be signing K-Street constructed special interest legislation to repay all of those donors/investors.

Congress would be fast-tracking the passage because the same interest groups also fund the members of congress.

President Donald Trump winning the election threw a monkey wrench into the entire DC system…. In early 2017 the modern legislative machine was frozen in place.

The “America First” policies represented by candidate Donald Trump were not within the legislative constructs coming from the K-Street authors of the legislation. There were no MAGA lobbyists waiting on Trump ideology to advance legislation based on America First objectives.

As a result of an empty feeder system, in early 2017 congress had no bills to advance because all of the myriad of bills and briefs written were not in line with President Trump policy. There was simply no entity within DC writing legislation that was in-line with President Trump’s America-First’ economic and foreign policy agenda.

Exactly the opposite was true. All of the DC legislative briefs and constructs were/are antithetical to Trump policy. There were hundreds of file boxes filled with thousands of legislative constructs that became worthless when Donald Trump won the election.

Those legislative constructs (briefs) representing tens of millions of dollars worth of time and influence were just sitting there piled up in boxes under desks and in closets amid K-Street and the congressional offices. Legislation needed to be in-line with an entire new political perspective, and there was no-one, no special interest or lobbying group, currently occupying DC office space with any interest in synergy with Trump policy.

Think about the larger ramifications within that truism. That is also why there was/is so much opposition.

No legislation provided by outside interests means no work for lobbyists who sell it. No work means no money. No money means no expense accounts. No expenses means politicians paying for their own indulgences etc.

Politicians were not happy without their indulgences, but the issue was actually bigger. No K-Street expenditures also means no personal benefit; and no opportunity to advance financial benefit from the insider trading system. Republicans and democrats hate the presidency of Donald Trump because it is hurting them financially.

President Trump is not figuratively hurting the financial livelihoods of DC politicians; he’s literally doing it. President Trump is not an esoteric problem for them; his impact is very real, very direct, and hits almost every politician in the most painful place imaginable, the bank account.

In the pre-Trump process there were millions upon millions, even billions that could be made by DC politicians and their families. Thousands of very indulgent and exclusive livelihoods attached to the DC business model. At the center of this operation is the lobbying and legislative purchase network. The Big Club.

Without the ability to position personal wealth and benefit from the system, why would a politician stay in office? It is a fact the income of many long-term politicians on both wings of the uniparty bird were completely disrupted by Trump winning the 2016 election. That is one of the key reasons why so many politicians retired in 2018.

When we understand the business of DC, we understand the difference between legislation with a traditional purpose and modern legislation with a financial and political agenda.

When we understand the business of DC we understand why the entire network hates President Donald Trump.

Lastly, this is why -when signing legislation- President Trump often says “they’ve been trying to get this through for a long time” etc. Most of the legislation that is passed by congress, and signed by President Trump in his first term; is older legislative proposals, with little indulgent value that were shelved in years past.

Example: Criminal justice reform did not carry a financial benefit to the legislative bodies, and there was no financial interest funding the politicians to pass the bill. If you look at most of the bills President Trump has signed, with the exception of a few economic bills, they stem from congressional construction many years, even decades, ago.

Think about it carefully and you’ll see it. The “First step act”, “Right to Try”, etc. were all shelved by Boehner, Pelosi, Ryan, McConnell, Reid and others before them. When the value of legislation is measured by the financial underwriting and payoffs behind it, what type of legislative calendar does that require?….

Repeal the 17th amendment and watch what happens.

Viganò: Amid Vatican scandals, Pope Francis has dealt the ‘most devastating blows’ to Papacy, Church

October 2, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Archbishop Viganò today published a statement in Italy about the current crisis at the Vatican with regard to Cardinal Angelo Becciu and his sudden dismissal. In it, he argues that it is not an accident that such scandals take place under this current pontificate, but, rather, that this is part of the system. The Pope surrounds himself, according to the Italian archbishop, “with compromised characters,” and the subsequent scandals aim at the “destruction of the Catholic institution,” the Church.

In Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò’s new intervention (see full text below), as published today by the Italian newspaper La Verità, the prelate draws a parallel between the French Revolution and today’s situation in the Church. He writes that “I believe, instead, that behind this dripping of scandals involving prominent personalities of the Hierarchy and Roman Curia there is the deliberate will to demolish the Church herself, to discredit her before the world, to compromise her authority and credibility before the faithful.” Thus, Viganò sees an “instrumental method” on the part of the current Pope whose actions increase the loss of reputation of the Catholic Church.https://tpc.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-37/html/container.html

Here, Viganò points to the preparations for the French Revolution where Freemasonic and other sects aimed at corrupting first the character and moral life of the French nobility so as to increase the indignation of the French population against their ruling class, just as it is now taking place in the Catholic Church.

He writes that this “modus operandi [of demeaning the hierarchy] is not new. It was adopted – with less media impact but still with the same purposes – on the eve of the French Revolution. Making the aristocracy hateful; corrupting the nobility with vices unknown to the people; eradicate the sense of moral responsibility towards the subjects; causing scandals and fomenting injustice towards the weakest and the poorest; to enslave the ruling class to the interests of sects and lodges: this was the premise, artfully created by Freemasonry, to arouse the discredit of the Monarchy and legitimize the revolts of the masses, prepared by a few seditious in the pay of the Lodges.”

Here, we can clearly see a parallel to today’s ecclesial hierarchy that is plagued with accusations of cover-up of sexual abuse and financial corruption. Archbishop Viganò proposes that the way out of this corruption is to “recognize the deviation from the right path, retrace the path taken and take the path that Our Lord marked with His Blood. The prelate also warns those conservative and moderate Catholics who hope to preserve the post-conciliar Church as she is and merely hope for a better pope.

“Let the moderates think carefully,” Viganò writes, “that a next Pope only slightly less progressive than Bergoglio can sedate souls and save the Papacy and the Church. Because the theological hatred of God’s enemies, once the good Shepherds have been eliminated and the faithful removed, will not stop before those who today deplore the present Pontificate but defend its conciliar matrix: the conservatives who believe they can distance themselves so much from modernists as well as traditionalists will end up like the Girondins.”

Much has been written in recent days about yet another Vatican scandal, this time involving Cardinal Becciu, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. Faced with accusations that still have to be proven, Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s response seemed to be dictated more by anger than by love of truth, more by a delusion of omnipotence than by the will for justice – in any case by a serious despotic abuse of authority.

From this point of view, we can now believe that the deprivation of the Sacred Purple and the reduction to the lay state have become summary executions, with a very strong media impact in favor of the image of those who inflict them, beyond the real moral and criminal responsibilities of the condemned. Mr. McCarrick, accused of very serious crimes, was directly condemned by the Pope, without the trial documents and testimonies concerning him being made public. With this ploy, Bergoglio wanted to give an image of himself that however contrasts with the reality of the facts, since his stated desire to “clean up” the Vatican does not correspond to the fact of his having surrounded himself with widely compromised characters – to begin precisely by McCarrick – giving them official assignments, then kicking them out as soon as their scandals were exposed. In confirmation of this instrumental method, indeed of the ruse of the Bergoglian moralizing action, there are the cases of upright and completely innocent people, who have not been spared the infamy of discredit, media exposure, judicial pillory: let us just think of the case of Cardinal Pell, abandoned to himself in a sham trial set up by an Australian court, and for which the Holy See refrained from any intervention which would have been its duty. In other cases, such as that of Zanchetta, Bergoglio spent himself in an all-out defense of his protégé, even going so far as to accuse the victims of the Prelate of perjury, and promoting him to a position of high responsibility at APSA that was specifically created for him. And today Galantino and Zanchetta are de facto administrators of the entire patrimony of the Holy See and now also of the portfolio of the Secretariat of State. And what about unpresentable characters like Bertone and Maradiaga, Peña Parra and Paglia? Living scandals…

Let us therefore leave aside the innocent and guilty, united by the lynching artfully induced by those who wanted to get rid of them or because they had shown themselves not very inclined to compromise, or because their zeal for the cause of Santa Marta had led them to a dangerous ease in a certainty of impunity. People of mirrored honesty and great faith such as Ettore Gotti Tedeschi or Cardinal Pell, without forgetting Eugenio Hasler and the mere executors of Becciu in the Secretariat of State, were treated worse than a serial abuser like Theodore McCarrick or a (presumed) manipulator like Becciu. It is to be believed that the annoyance of having honest and incorruptible collaborators led to their expulsion, just as the blackmail of immoral and dishonest collaborators was considered a sort of guarantee of their loyalty and their silence. Time has shown that honest men have suffered injustice with dignity without discrediting the Vatican or the person of the Pope; it is to be believed that on the other side the corrupt and the vicious will, in turn, resort to blackmail against their accusers, as courtiers without honor have always done.

In this recent event, the constant theme that can be seen is the attitude of Santa Marta, which has been compared in many quarters to that of a South American junta. I believe, instead, that behind this dripping of scandals involving prominent personalities of the Hierarchy and Roman Curia there is the deliberate will to demolish the Church herself, to discredit her before the world, to compromise her authority and credibility before the faithful. The operation we have been witnessing for the past seven terrible years is clearly aimed at the destruction of the Catholic institution, through the loss of credibility, disaffection and disgust for the actions and unworthy behavior of its members; an operation that began with the sexual scandals already under the previous Pontificates, but which this time is to be seen as the protagonist, as the main actor precisely the one who sits on the Throne, and who with his own words and works is able to deal the most devastating blows to the Papacy and the Church.

The “demythologization of the Papacy” advocated by progressives essentially consists in its ridicule, in its profanation, that is, in making it profane, not sacred. And it is unheard of and very serious that this subversive operation is carried out by those who hold that Papacy and wear its robes, albeit awkwardly. Similarly, the profanation of the Church is carried out with a scientific method by the very leaders of the Hierarchy, who make themselves disliked by the people of God and are pitied by the world, under the smug gaze of the mainstream media.

This modus operandi is not new. It was adopted – with less media impact but still with the same purposes – on the eve of the French Revolution. Making the aristocracy hateful; corrupting the nobility with vices unknown to the people; eradicate the sense of moral responsibility towards the subjects; causing scandals and fomenting injustice towards the weakest and the poorest; to enslave the ruling class to the interests of sects and lodges: this was the premise, artfully created by Freemasonry, to arouse the discredit of the Monarchy and legitimize the revolts of the masses, prepared by a few seditious in the pay of the Lodges. And if the nobles did not fall into the trap of vice and corruption, the conspirators could accuse them of the wickedness of others and condemn them to the gallows under the pressure of hatred cultivated among the rebels, among the criminals, among the enemies of the King and of God. A mob of infamous ones that had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Today, after more than two centuries of a tyranny of revolutionary thought, the Church is the victim of the same system adopted against the Monarchy. The aristocracy of the Church is as corrupt as, and perhaps more than, the French nobles, and does not understand that this vulnus to its reputation and authority is the necessary premise for the guillotine, the massacre, the fury of the rebels. And also to Terror. Let the moderates think carefully that a next Pope only slightly less progressive than Bergoglio can sedate souls and save the Papacy and the Church. Because the theological hatred of God’s enemies, once the good Shepherds have been eliminated and the faithful removed, will not stop before those who today deplore the present Pontificate but defend its conciliar matrix: the conservatives who believe they can distance themselves so much from modernists as well as traditionalists will end up like the Girondins.

“Mundamini, qui fertis vasa Domini” says Wisdom (Is 52: 11). The only way to get out of the crisis of the Church, which is a crisis of Faith and Morals, is to recognize the deviation from the right path, retrace the path taken and take the path that Our Lord marked with His Blood: the way of Calvary, of the Cross, of the Passion. When the Shepherds will not have the smell of the sheep but rather the sweet perfume of the Chrism with which they have been made similar to the High and Eternal Priest, they will be conformed again to the divine model of Christ, and with Him they will know how to sacrifice themselves for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Nor will the divine Shepherd make them lack His Grace. As long as they want to please the world, the world will compensate them with its deceptions, its lies, its most abject vices. The choice, after all, is always radical: eternal glory with Christ or eternal damnation far from Him.

The End of the United States?

Dear CatholiCity Citizen,

Let’s begin with a bang:Will the United States Survive as Is?

No. It will not. Not without God’s divine intervention.

As a little boy I discovered a gigantic early-1900’s Atlas in my father’s bookcase. When I compared borders of countries in Europe and Africa to a 1970s Atlas, it was striking. Entire countries appeared and disappeared.

During college, as a history major, my childhood realization was confirmed: maps typically change dramatically every few decades to reflect new geopolitical realities. For example, a mere thirty years ago the mighty Soviet Union divided into many new countries. Poland was partitioned and ceased to exist as an independent entity for generations during the 1800s. 9/11 has caused multiple changes to national states in the Middle East. As you read this, Communist China is swallowing Hong Kong, which was birthed as a British, not Chinese, colony.

Even for the United States, including status changes for territories and additions of Alaska and Hawaii in the 1950s, our country has been dramatically changing mostly by expansion since it began as thirteen distinct colonies which “illegally” revolted against England.

A cursory review of political maps every fifty years since the Roman Empire reveals that the historical exception is when geopolitical realities remain constant.No Divine Guarantee

There is no divine guarantee that any country will remain as it is, or even that it must continue to exist (consider how the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey were centers of Christianity in the early centuries before the rise of Islam). Israel is a special case for reasons deeply tied to salvation history, but even it ceased to exist as a nation-state for nearly two thousand years.

The Holy Scriptures also depict God punishing countries which do not honor His Holy Law. “Vain is the guard who keeps watch if the city has not the Lord for its guardian.” (Psalm 127)

I understand it is difficult to imagine that the United States can cease to exist as it does now, yet our union has always been unstable. England challenged the American Revolution during the War of 1812 while taking control of major cities and burning Washington DC to the ground. Just eighty-five years after our founding, we divided into two nations as a prelude to civil war, and were ultimately reconstituted at the cost of six hundred thousand lives.Three Possible Futures for America

Devout Catholics understand the recent political polarization is driven by the moral chasm between the Culture of Death versus the Culture of Life. Two contradictory political philosophies, one essentially godless and the other God-fearing, fundamentally cannot exist indefinitely as a unified, coherent political entity. I came to this conclusion decades ago.

Whether the formal political divorce occurs in months or years, we face three possible futures.

-Devolve into a singular authoritarian tyranny.

-Split into two or more nations in which at least one honors God’s Law.

-Receive from heaven a divine intervention to convert our nation.Bigger Picture: 2021 Nightmare?

Regardless of which side appears to “win” the upcoming election, confusing civil and economic strife remain inevitable. After the election, 2021 may make 2020 seem relatively peaceful. In the bigger picture, the ultimate goal of the godless global elite, from European One World Government types to the Communist Chinese, is to neuter or destroy the United States by implementing what they are openly calling The Great Reset.

Economic collapse is part of the plan, and that has only partially taken place in the wake of the Coronavirus.

As I have been informing you for many years, the evil one has been planning this for centuries using his hidden influence over individuals and groups. That is no surprise. Whether his unknowing servants can or will succeed, from our limited human perspective, remains to be seen. The Great Reset, ultimately, is what the upcoming election is about. Keep this in mind when the confusion and conflict increase after election day.

From my conversations with friends and advisors, I know that my last paragraphs might frighten many readers.

Some of my advisors (not all) sincerely discouraged me from telling you about the evil times that are coming; they believe it will cause fear. Some doubt such a devolution into chaos can even happen. You may agree: under a hopeful scenario, the election will take place, votes will be counted, there will be strident partisan jockeying and demonstrations, but eventually one candidate will prevail and take office in January, and then our lives will return to “normal” as the pandemic fades. I sincerely hope you are correct.

Even if that happens, from an historical perspective which affirms Jesus Christ as the Lord of All History, political efforts will eventually fail, however necessarily undertaken in the here and now, if the behavior of a greater portion of our fellow citizens, and our human laws, do not change to align with God’s natural law. The day of reckoning is still coming without religious conversion.Bravery in the Face of Evil

And I do not wish to scare you. The truth can cause fear, yet a prudent Christian response to plausible dire possibilities can never be to ignore them. The only Christian response is bravery. Clear-minded and faithful bravery.

So, be brave.

After all, in July and August, via the Great Awakening Masses offered at the four remote corners of the United States, you took part in a powerful and successful spiritual warfare operation to address these grave issues by setting into motion God’s divine intervention for America. I promised you it would change the course of history, and it will.

The kind of change needed requires the deep religious conversion of our fellow citizens. Given fallen human nature and the plain reality of our circumstances, the conversions needed cannot happen without God’s direct divine intervention.

We must avoid the temptation to demonize our political counterparts even as they cooperate with demonic forces, implement evil laws, and commit evil deeds. They are immortal souls who need to believe and be saved. They need grace. They obviously and certainly will not turn to God because they do not believe, so we must do reparation and ask our merciful Father to intervene to convert them (for which we all prayed in my last Message–I invite you to go pray now in case you missed it and meet back here after).

Furthermore, I must believe that if these people became aware of the demonic influence of the “powers and principalities” involved in their individual lives and national affairs, many would join our cause.

With the ever-changing maps of history foreshadowing the probability of the dissolution of the United States, without supernatural intervention by our Almighty Father, our country is lost. Regardless of which side gains the upper hand in terms of political power in the short run, a period of greater persecution, greater loss of liberty, and increased strife has already begun.

We need God to act.

Because we are sinners ourselves, our goal for the Great Awakening Masses was to super-accelerate our pleas for divine intervention by submitting them through Jesus to the Father in the Eternal Sacrifice. The Father heard His Son’s voice, not our own.A Sign: Worldwide Church Shutdowns

The Coronavirus shutdowns of Catholic Churches all over the world which denied the faithful the reception of the Eucharist, the sacrament of Confession, and Last Rites during Lent and Easter is the most significant indicator in our lifetimes that the “birth pangs” of the Tribulations Our Lady warned about have begun. In terms of corrupt rulership and false teachings, the “eclipse of the Church” foretold by Our Lady of La Salette has begun.

(The Eternal Sacrifice of the Mass, of course, never stopped being offered in rectories, chapels, and monasteries throughout the world. The Mass was eclipsed–that is, hidden. The Mass will never end on earth so long as one faithful Catholic priest remains.)

I am merely putting to words what most of you already know spiritually, in your soul, in your bones.

In the bigger picture, the Church shutdowns, for me at least, indicate our increasing closeness in time to the Warning, the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the promised Era of Peace to follow.

I shall spare you the details, but over the past two weeks Our Lord has sent me an unprecedented avalanche of personal signal graces and unambiguous signs that a kind of Warning is coming, perhaps in order to encourage me to write today’s CatholiCity Message.

The destruction of the United States as we know it is coming, now or later. Grave political tribulations are beginning. The Warning is coming.

The Illumination of Conscience is also known as The Warning.

Thus it seems fitting to me, without my having any special claim to personal inside knowledge or revelation of coming events, as a regular Catholic guy, and through this humble apostolate dedicated to Immaculate Mary herself, that divine providence brought Father John Anthony to CatholiCity, and to you, to intercede through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in a now-completed request for an Illumination of Consciences.

Perhaps Our Lady is giving us a head’s up shortly before it happens? We shall see.

The Illumination of Conscience is the great grace of having a direct mystical experience from God of a “judgement in miniature.” The person knows directly from God all their sins, sins of omission, the malformation of their conscience, all the horrific ripple effects of sin in the lives of others, their good acts, along with whether or not they would merit heaven or hell upon death. This gift could multiply to thousands or even millions of people throughout the land, to evil and good persons alike, if not yet to the entire world, as promised.

Father John Anthony and I now share a simple logic: If individual Warnings have already been granted before the promised worldwide Warning, then it can happen to many more people, even large groups of people, even the enemies of God, especially if we ask out of love for our country and all her citizens. I told Father John Anthony during our travels that I expected our many sincere Protestant brothers and sisters, because they too sense the coming dark times and share in our baptism, will play a major role in the Great Awakening. Just one month later, this is already happening:

Because there is no way to confirm authenticity through Catholic authorities, I leave it up to your prayerful discernment to decide whether to place stock in God’s warnings through this man. I personally find him sincere, and even if his prophetic dreams are inevitably filtered through his limited human understanding, it is spurring Catholics and Protestants alike to prepare spiritually for potentially sinister events, especially in November.

From everyone to whom I have spoken and every article I have read by commentators on both sides of the political divide, there is an uncanny agreement that the upcoming election will be followed by months of civil strife and confusion. There are even numerous reports in mainstream media outlets brazenly promoting that using rioting, confusion, suppression of media, delays by court procedures, voter fraud, and military intervention are the tools of a plan to gain the White House.

Perhaps more disturbingly, these are not conspiracies. These are well funded, openly discussed scenarios involving coalitions representing various powerful groups in our society. And because they are so openly promulgated, I wonder if this is propaganda to signal to partisans the nature and goals of the coming conflict?

May Our Lord foil any and all of their sinister efforts!The Law of Unintended Consequences

Even so, because of the law of unintended consequences, given the pride and malevolence of the planners, an attempt to unjustly seize high office could spin into unanticipated chaos and result in a leaderless nation, giving the evil one opportunities to tempt other nations to start horrible conflicts during the power vacuum.

Unforeseeable cascading effects could lead to our constitutional framework being dramatically altered forever, for the worse.

This would mean loss of freedoms we still take for granted as I write this in September 2020. This could mean widespread persecution and economic disaster along with all the suffering that comes in their wake.

So, I have concluded, whether or not Dana Coverston’s prophecies come to pass, that we still need to “brace ourselves,” as winter and spring of 2021 approach, without regard for which “side” appears to “win” the short-term political contest.

Some people I speak with find these dark scenarios too horrific to contemplate. I completely understand this human instinct to avoid thinking about frightening things. “People need hope,” one of my friends told me.

In response, I urge you to recall that traditional Catholic theology assures us that hope is a supernatural gift that flows from the foundational gift of faith, a faith we receive at baptism, a faith which is bolstered every time we worthily receive the sacraments or pray or do good works in accord with the will of God. Faith is a gift from God.

Therefore, if you want hope, you need faith.

So, my friends, perform acts of faith.

Acts of faith are simple: Pray the Rosary. Pray with your family. Receive Holy Communion as often as possible. Open your day with Morning Prayers. Examine your conscience before you go to sleep. Offer the burdens of your day in union with Christ’s sufferings on the Cross. Fast. Give to charity. Abstain from something you love. Participate in 40 Days for Life, which began yesterday, as I mentioned in my last message.

At this very moment, tell Jesus you love Him and trust him. Right now, repent of your sins since your last Confession. Before you read another word, ask Immaculate Mary to be with you now and at the hour of your death. These are all acts of faith.

There is profoundly more depth to all of this, of course. You have lived in faith, so you know.Conclusion: During Strife, Peace in Christ

In summary, God has begun to intervene and will continue to intervene for the United States (and Canada). The Great Awakening is coming in response to our prayers, reparations, and the four-corners Masses offered in July and August. God will honor tens of millions of Catholics who prayed the Rosary for generations in response to Our Lady of Fatima’s request in 1917, and will honor the repentance and intercession of millions of our beloved Protestant brothers and sisters.

We ourselves have asked “through” our Eucharistic Jesus at Mass. We shall receive.

(And this is my personal belief…) God’s intervention will manifest in some degree as an aspect of the Warning, an Illumination of Conscience that could manifest very soon for individuals, for large groups, for our enemies, or even for millions of people.Do Not Be Naive

Do not be naive. When the Father answers our prayers, even as the Great Awakening plays out, His “answer” may also manifest by His allowing (in His permissive will) violent unrest, political turmoil, suffering, economic hardship, great injustice, what appears to be a breakdown of civilization in certain places, absence of political leadership, silence from the Church, unforeseeable geopolitical problems, as well as a dissolution of national entities, possibly including the United States.

During all this, we Catholics shall not fear; we shall be brave.

Our ways are not His ways. These manifestations may occur for an extended period of time as God works through and solves the conflict over the course of human events. Our Response: Be Not Afraid

Keep praying for His Will for our nation, for the conversion of our people (all the people) no matter what occurs, no matter how long it takes. Fear not.

I repeat, dear friends: No matter what occurs, remain at peace by making acts of faith in Jesus which bring His supernatural hope. Remain in a state of grace.

At some point (I do not know when), the Warning will come for the entire planet at one moment. We, the consecrated children of Immaculate Mary, will be used to crush the head of the serpent. TRUMP-BIDEN RINGSIDE

           Well, Round One of the Trump Biden Debates is in the books and it is time to go to the scorecards.

           On the surface, that would seem to be a difficult task given all of the interruptions and heated arguments out forth. But, as in most fights, scoring will largely be determined by the number of effective blows landed by each contestant. In the case of Round One of the Trump-Biden Debates, when you sift through the dust and the smoke and the interruptions, the clear winner by a wide margin was President Donald Trump.

           Let me explain my scorecard based on facts, not conjecture or suppositions:

1.        I do not care who you are, or who you think you are, you do not call the President of the United States a “liar” or a “clown” nor do you act like a tough street hood and tell him to “shut up”. For someone who accuses President Trump of not being “Presidential” (whatever that means) these remarks on a national stage, with millions of people watching from around the country and indeed the world can hardly be considered “Presidential”.

2.        Joe Biden refusing to respond to questions about packing the Supreme Court is not at all what you would expect from someone seeking to be the leader of the free world.

3.        Joe Biden calling Antifa an “idea” is ridiculous on its face. Antifa is a well organized communist group with origins dating back to the fall of the Weimer Republic in Germany in the 1930’s. They have been filmed handing out weapons in our cities to burn and loot businesses and create turmoil with the objective of achieving transformative change to American society and government. They are a radical group and Joe Biden shaking his head saying “not true”, “not true” is not a sign of leadership. He gave the impression that he really is unaware of what is going on in our country.

4.         With respect to the issue of Law and Order, Joe Biden could not respond to questions posed to him about why he would not even say the words “law and order” and could not name a single law and order organization who has endorsed him. Shame on Chris Wallace for pressing a ridiculous question posed to President Trump about whether he would denounce “white supremacist groups”. President Trump has denounced such groups numerous times and that is a fact.

5.        I was astounded that there was no discussion whatsoever about the major peace accords reached between Israel and Arab nations in the Middle East and the fact that no such accords were ever reached in eight years of the Obama-Biden Administration.

6.        Joe Biden continuously referred to President Trump as a liar. That is really rich. He is a man who has been caught in more lies and exaggerations, plagiarism, and insults directed at people than anyone I have ever seen. His entire life is built on lies and falsehoods.

7.        Joe Biden flat out lied when he claimed that he and President Obama was responsible for the success our nation’s economy reached under President Trump.

8.        If you listened carefully to the question posed by Chris Wallace about racism in America, Biden said that there was indeed “systemic racism” in America. But if that is the case, when did it start? Joe Biden has been in government for forty seven years and served under Barack Obama, a black President. Why didn’t he address this issue then? Where has he been for forty seven years?

9.        On the issue of the economy, Biden clearly indicated that “he represents the Democratic Party and what he says is the Party’s policy”. He denied steadfastly that there was no agreement signed between himself and the Bernie Sanders led coalition. Those are bold faced lies. There are indeed numerous letters of agreement, and in particular, support for the “Green New Deal” although Biden calls it by another name. That plan calls for $100 Trillion in spending…money we do not have….and which will not generate economic returns.

But there is much more. Biden reaffirmed that he will raise taxes on Americans to the tune of $4.0 Trillion next year; that he will “on day one of his Administration, repeal all of the Trump tax cuts”; that he will increase taxes on corporations, on stock market gains, on 401-K plans….and he is going to do all this in a period where people are struggling to make ends meet and find jobs. How does this make any sense? Biden said it clearly. But no one in the media today is speaking about this. And when he rambled on about the programs he intended to launch, he spoke glowingly and great pride that his plan called for retrofitting 40 million buildings across America to make them more efficient and emit less gasses into the environment. He intends to build 500,000 electric charging stations on our highways so that electric cars can be charged on their travels. I listened carefully to this and asked myself…..at what cost? And where is the economic benefit to us? Biden clearly wants to drastically reduce the use of fossil fuels but has he thought about where all this electricity is going to come from?

Finally, on the subject of economics, Biden exclaimed that his plan of increased taxes will magically create an additional $1.0 Trillion in wealth. I have spent over forty five years in finance in the private sector and as a college professor…I would like to review those assumptions and calculations because I am scratching my head as to who “the well known financial executives and economists on Wall Street” Biden mentioned in his remarks endorsed his plan.
10.   Chris Wallace asked Joe Biden why he has not spoken out against the violence that is so rampant at many of our major cities, virtually all of them democratically controlled. His response is “Hey, here’s the deal, I am not in government anymore, I am not in office….he’s the guy who needs to take action”. That was a well rehearsed defection but was also a “non-response”. When pressed by Chris Wallace about why Biden did not call governors or mayors to try to get them to take action, Biden responded again that “he is not in office”. In other words….”it’s not my job”. But it somehow it is his job to criticize and second guess the President. Not a good picture because the view is always much different from the cheap seats.

So, on balance, there was an awful lot of compelling issues that surfaced in Round One and while the pundits and newspapers have called this debate “an embarrassment for the country” I have a very different perspective. Yes, I would have liked less interruptions and argument but the substance was extremely informative, and once you get past the fog of conflict, the points made by President Trump were significant.

Americans Deserve a Better Debate

Last night’s first presidential debate was a major disappointment – no matter who you are for.
The number of people who told me today they turned off the debate after 15 or 20 minutes was sobering.
This debate was so bad it justifies asking if we can’t really approach the next three debates from a totally different perspective.
The anecdotal unhappiness and dissatisfaction I have been picking up from a wide range of people was capture by Ben Domenech, who wrote in The Transom:“America Got What It Wanted and It Was Terrible:“For all the people who are upset about last night’s horrible debate, they should pause and ask themselves: wasn’t that just an accurate reflection of where we are as a nation? Two septuagenarians bashing each other with bursts of bombastic bullshittery and competing whatabouts is the content you will find on Facebook and cable news every single day. To the extent people are disappointed, remind yourself: these men both have nearly 90 percent ratings with the two largest political parties in America. They both bested huge fields of candidates to get their respective roles. This is the show you asked for, and you got it.”
To quantify Ben’s complaint, note that Chris Wallace, the moderator, interrupted the President of the United States 76 times and only interrupted joe Biden only 15 times, by Charlie Kirk’s count. Note that the BBC found Trump cut in on Biden a total of 73 times.
To be fair to President Trump, the one-sidedness of Wallace’s moderating did not give him much choice. Again, to cite Domenech, Wallace’s “choice to engage repeatedly just didn’t work. It resulted in repeated instances of Biden talking for two minutes in which he’d throw out multiple claims about Trump, Trump would interrupt with a rejoinder, Wallace would tell Trump to stop talking, and then at the end of the two minutes Wallace would move on to the next question. Trump, infuriated, would bulldoze him and respond anyway. Biden would interrupt with his denial. And on and on.”
If Trump had to choose between passivity and being a bulldozer, he made the right choice. It may have cost Mitt Romney the presidency when he allowed then-CNN reporter Candy Crowley to assert a controversial rebuttal of Romney’s point on President Barack Obama being slow to recognize the killing of our ambassador in Benghazi as an act of terror. In effect, Romney was being double-teamed by Crowley and Obama almost as if they were a tag team in a wrestling match.
Faced with that kind of moderating, Trump simply blew through it and insisted on making his points. He looked aggressive and contentious doing it, but passivity would have been even worse. As the president said to Wallace, “I guess I’m debating you, not him.”
It is simply a fact that a conservative candidate in a presidential debate must assume he or she will be double-teamed, and the deck will be stacked.
That double-teaming was obvious last night.
However, the nature of the modern news media and the political press – combined with the intensity of the social media – cheats the American people of the kind of serious debate they deserve.
The Commission on Presidential Debates is a big part of the problem.It is a fossilized institution dating back to 1987 and run by politicians a generation or more out of their time.
The most famous debates in American political history were the Abraham Lincoln-Stephen Douglas debates of 1858. They were intelligent, serious, and focused on the great issue of slavery, which was beginning to tear the country apart and leading toward a civil war.
These seven debates were each three hours long. There was a timekeeper, but no moderator.
America is on the verge of, or in the middle of, a series of crises which may determine the survival of our country.
We face a Chinese competitor that will force dramatic changes on us if we are to match and overmatch its capabilities. For example, our infrastructure must be massively rebuilt if we are going to compete with China and other countries which are modernizing.
Our education system is a disaster and needs to be thoroughly overhauled – in k-12, college, and adult education.
We must defeat the anti-American movement which is dominating too many schools and seeking to dominate too many streets and cities.
This year’s disaster with COVID-19 is proof we need a profound overhaul of our public health service.
We must rebuild our cities in an inclusive model that eliminates the sense of racial conflict and provides every American of every background a real opportunity to learn, work, live safely, and give our children and grandchildren an even better future.
We must get back to the tempo of economic growth, which in February had given us the lowest African American and Latino unemployment rates in history and had begun to raise the income for the poor at a faster rate than for the wealthy.
Finally, once we have defeated COVID-19, we must develop a fiscal plan to move us back to the balanced budgets we achieved in the late 1990s.
With all these vast challenges, surely it should be possible to invent a dialogue, discussion, or debate between the adults who are seeking to be lent power by their fellow citizens.Let’s see if we can start this theme with next week’s vice-presidential debate.

This comprehensive essay is very good, sobering analysis of the body of evidence coming to light, made public these past few months, stitched together by honest and courageous medical and research professionals and independent journalists, ordinary individuals sounding the alarm exposing the lies, falsehoods, and deceptive propaganda concocted by so called experts for various reasons and with a purposeful agenda using the coercive and abusive power of the state to control and literally bring our nation and other free societies to their knees.

The question is what do we, the informed populace in free societies, do next? Many or most places still have various levels of lockdowns and bogus restrictions still going on indefinitely, with experts and civil authorities threatening further restrictions with unproven scare tactics about the virus striking and spiking again. Mysterious bogeymen are always effective in instilling fear and mass hysteria and not just children fall prey to this tactic.
There is definitely in my opinion a color revolution going on in this country to undermine the current administration combining with powerful agents including the Davos illuminati and intelligentia, complicit Media, big Pharma monopolists and grant seeking medical research institutions in profit seeking corporate enterprises and academia. One political party is willingly going along with this elaborately constructed kabuki play to further their ends.
They’re really out in the open … for those with eyes to see. The underlying and overlapping motive is control and profit using the coercive power of the state and private funding by very wealthy megalomaniac characters with god complexes. You know who they are.
The patsies and the victims are “we the people”. We are as economist and philosopher F. A. Hayek, Nobel prize winner and recipient of the Presidéntial Medal of Freedom, warned “on the road to SERFDOM”. We ARE well along the road to serfdom.

Excerpts from this article:The Doctors for Disaster Preparedness¹ lecture, given August 16, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada, features Dr. Lee Merritt, an orthopedic spinal surgeon with a medical practice in Logan, Iowa.²In her presentation…she talks about the cognitive dissonance we’re currently facing, when what we’re told no longer corresponds with known facts or logical thinking. And she reviews how medical technocrats — the so-called medical experts and political leaders who have turned the world upside-down in response to COVID-19 — have been 100% wrong about everything they’ve been telling us. They’ve been wrong about the initial risk assessment, testing, preventive measures, mask wearing and social distancing. They’ve conflated “cases” or positive tests with the actual illness. They’re also guilty of errors of omission — not telling us what medical doctors and scientists know to be helpful…The Lies We’ve Been Told About COVID-19 Death RiskIn her lecture, Merritt reviews several lies we’ve been told by the technocratic elite, starting with the actual risk of death. Based on deaths per capita, the death rate for COVID-19 is 0.009% (709,000 people have died from or with COVID-19 around the world, and the global population is 7.8 billion). That then means the average person’s chance of surviving this disease is 99.991%. The area with the highest death rate, New York, has a death per capita rate of 0.17%, yet Dr. Anthony Fauci publicly lauded New York for its excellent COVID response. This is just one example that has caused cognitive dissonance, as praising the area with the highest death rate (even if low overall) as having one of the best responses simply isn’t logical.Ironically, five of the six countries with the lowest death rates (ranging between 0.00003% and 0.006%) did very little in terms of pandemic response; they didn’t shut down or order people to stay home. …If an action doesn’t result in an observable benefit, it simply doesn’t make sense to continue, let alone claim that was and is necessary...Purposeful Conflation of ‘Positive Tests’ With ‘Cases’Furthermore, instead of comforting everyone and opening the world back up when the death toll started falling, the narrative suddenly shifted focus to “cases,” meaning people who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 — regardless of whether they had symptoms..the primary measure of disease threat is its lethality. As noted by Merritt, since ancient times, a “case,” medically speaking, has referred to a sick person. It never ever referred to someone who had no symptoms of illness. Now all of a sudden, this well-established medical term, “case,” has been completely and arbitrarily redefined to mean someone who tested positive for the presence of viral RNA. “That is not epidemiology. That’s fraud,” Merritt says. What’s more, most of the tests used have no benchmarks, meaning we don’t know what the rates of false positives and false negatives are. And, many areas are tacking on extra “cases” when someone tests positive and relays that they’ve been around other people. Again, “that’s fraud,” Merritt says. Evidence that the technocratic propaganda is working can be seen in a recent poll by Harvard, Oxford and Universita Boconi, which found Millennials believe 2% of their generation will die from COVID-19. “That’s 10,000 times more than the reality,” Merritt says. “It’s just completely out of proportion to reality.”The Lies We’ve Been Told About Mask WearingLie No. 2 is about the benefits of mask wearing. “It’s not scientifically sound, so why are we doing it?” Merritt asks. It’s “just a symbol of submission.” As noted in her slide show, “The strongest argument for mask wearing is it sounds good. The strongest argument against mask wearing is it doesn’t work at all.”Alongside that quote is a photo of a man’s face covered in dust particles after sawing sheetrock wearing a Class II medical earloop facemask, with the caption, “Each particle of sheetrock dust is 10 microns. Coronavirus is 0.125 microns. Any questions?” The coronavirus is nearly 100 times smaller than sheetrock dust. In other words, surgical masks cannot and do not block the coronavirus (or any other virus for that matter). Surgical mask boxes are even printed with the warning that the mask “will not provide any protection against COVID-19 or other viruses,” and “does not reduce the risk of contracting any disease or infection.”Ditto for medical N95 respirator masks, as they only block particles larger than 0.3 microns. N95 masks are used in hospital settings to protect against tuberculosis, as the TB virus is 3 microns. You must, however, wear the correct size, it must be properly fitted to your face, and you must follow certain procedures when putting it on and removing it to prevent cross contamination.OSHA respirators, used by construction workers and other industries, also screen down to 0.3 microns, but they are equipped with a one-way valve. So, it only screens the air coming in, not the air going out. So, you’re in no way protecting others when wearing such a mask. The Quality of Data Is What MattersMerritt also discusses a publication in PNAS, “Identifying Airborne Transmission as the Dominant Route for the Spread of COVID-19,”³ in which the authors purport to support mask wearing by looking at New York City as a model. According to Merritt, she has serious concerns about this study, as it doesn’t control for the No. 1 factor that reduces infectivity, namely humidity. The higher the humidity, the lower the infectivity rate…What’s more, at least one of the authors listed, Yuan Wang, has no medical background whatsoever. He’s in the division of planetary and geological sciences at Cal Tech… She also reviews other publications in the medical literature showing masks do not protect against viral infections — including a May 2020 review by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention itself” …In that review, the CDC concluded that masks did not protect against influenza in non-health care settings. Merritt also cites studies showing there’s no difference between surgical masks and medical N95 masks. For a better understanding of the science, she recommends reading Denis Rancourt’s paper,⁴ “Masks Don’t Work: A Review of Science Relevant to COVID-19 Policy.” I’ve also interviewed Rancourt, who has a Ph.D. in physics, about his findings, which you can find in “Masks Likely Do Not Inhibit Viral Spread.”…The third lie Merritt reviews is the 6-foot social distancing rule. Thirty-four minutes into the lecture, you’ll find a fascinating video from a study⁵ published March 26, 2020, in JAMA Insights, demonstrating the particle emissions occurring when sneezing. In this study, they showed emissions can reach 23 to 27 feet (7 to 8 meters) — a far cry from the 6-foot distance we’re told will keep everyone safe.The Biggest Lie: Lysosomotropic Agents Don’t WorkLie No. 4, which Merritt believes is the biggest one of all, is that lysosomotropic agents (drugs that acidify the lysosome) such as chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine don’t work. Fauci has repeatedly stated that these drugs either don’t work, that there’s insufficient evidence, or that the evidence is only anecdotal. Yet the National Institutes of Health itself published research⁶ in 2005 showing chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread, actually having both prophylactic and therapeutic benefits. As the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is a part of the NIH, since 1984, Fauci should be well aware of these findings. As for what the motive might be for suppressing the use of hydroxychloroquine, despite all the evidence showing it works quite well when used early in the course of treatment, Merritt points to a 2006 study⁷ in the Virology Journal, titled “In Vitro Inhibition of Human Influenza A Virus Replication by Chloroquine.”That study delivered “overwhelming proof that chloroquine inhibited influenza A,” Merritt says. Now, if an inexpensive generic drug can prevent influenza infection, then what would we need seasonal influenza vaccines for? Another paper,⁸ “Effects of Chloroquine on Viral Infections: An Old Drug Against Today’s Diseases?” published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases in 2003, discussed the potential of chloroquine against a range of viral diseases. So, not only might we have an inexpensive remedy that can fight the flu, it might be useful against many other diseases as well. In short, were these drugs to be recognized for their antiviral benefits, they could disrupt the drug industry to a significant degree. Is that why they’re suppressed and vilified?Follow the MoneyMerritt also reviews Dr. Vladimir Zelenko’s clinical experience with hydroxychloroquine, which you can read more about in“How a False Hydroxychloroquine Narrative Was Created.” Of course, the media vilified Zelenko rather than applauding his remarkable successes against COVID-19. Even more egregiously, Merritt notes, was the fact that a Baltimore federal prosecutor actually started an investigation into Zelenko based on his statement that hydroxychloroquine is FDA approved. “It is FDA approved,” Merritt says. “You don’t go back once things are FDA approved to get reapproval for a new indication.” Doctors have always had the ability to prescribe drugs off-label for other conditions once they’ve been approved by the FDA, which is precisely what doctors have been doing with hydroxychloroquine. But now all of a sudden, that common (and perfectly legal) practice is portrayed as controversial, unethical and/or illegal. There’s also the clinical experience of French microbiologist and infectious disease expert Didier Raoult, founder and director of the research hospital Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire Méditerranée Infection,⁹ who reported^10,11 that a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin — administered immediately upon diagnosis — led to recovery and “virological cure” in 91.7% of patients. Merritt also reviews the fraudulent science that has been used to suppress hydroxychloroquine use, referring to these studies as “a new level of fake papers.” In one instance the authors pulled the data set out of thin air. They made it up. Yet these fraudulent papers were published in The Lancet and The New England Journal of Medicine, two of the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals in the world. It’s worth asking how that could happen. As noted by Merritt, what we’re told and what’s borne out by facts simply don’t add up:Hydroxychloroquine costs $10 to $20 for a course of treatment, is already FDA approved, has minimal side effects and has been shown to cut the death rate by 50% when given early in the treatment of COVID-19.¹²Yet Fauci is pushing the use of remdesivir,¹³ an intravenous drug for late-stage severe COVID-19 infection that costs $3,600, has been shown to cause severe side effects in 60% of patients, and doesn’t reduce the death rate. It merely reduces the recovery rate by an average of 31%, or four days.Merritt believes the reason we’re not embracing hydroxychloroquine is because it could demolish the $69 billion vaccine industry. That alone is enough of a motive to warrant a cover-up, she notes… Lies by Omission and Ultimate Motives Last but not least, Merritt reviews lies of omission — facts that would have saved lives had they been promoted. This includes data showing that higher vitamin D levels reduce both the severity of COVID-19 infection and the mortality. So, who benefits from the suppression of data and information that can save lives and the promotion of medical lies? According to two investigators, John Moynahan and Larry Doyle, Bill Gates negotiated a $100 billion contact tracing contract with Democratic Congressman Bobby L. Rush — who also introduced HR 6666, the COVID-19 TRACE Act — six months before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, during an August 2019 meeting in Rwanda, East Africa.¹⁴The U.S. government has also purchased 100 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine still under development by Pfizer and BioNTech. As noted by Merritt, we keep seeing how drug companies fund working groups on diseases, and then when the disease breaks out, those same drug companies make billions in profit. But aside from profit, Merritt is convinced there’s another reason behind the illogical pandemic responses we’re seeing. She points out how in a few short months, we’ve been dramatically shifted from a state of freedom to a state of totalitarianism. And the way that was done was through the technocratic mechanisms of social engineering, which of course involves psychological manipulation. Psychological Manipulation Tools Merritt reviews psychiatry professor Albert Biderman’s work on psychological manipulation and his “chart of coercion,” all of which can be clearly related to the COVID-19 response:

Isolation techniques — Quarantines, social distancing, isolation from loved ones and solitary confinement

Monopolization of perception — Monopolizing the 24/7 news cycle, censoring dissenting views and creating barren environments by closing bars, gyms and restaurants

Degradation techniques — Berating, shaming people (or even physically attacking) those who refuse to wear masks or social distance, or generally choose freedom over fear

Induced debility — Being forced to stay at home and not be able to exercise or socialize

Threats — Threatening with the removal of your children, prolonged quarantine, closing of your business, fines for noncompliance with mask and social distancing rules, forced vaccination and so on

Demonstrating omnipotence/omniscience — Shutting down the whole world, claiming scientific and medical authority

Enforcing trivial demands — Examples include family members being forced to stand 6 feet apart at the bank even though they arrived together in the same car, having to wear a mask when you walk into a restaurant, even though you can remove it as soon as you sit down, or having to wear a mask when walking alone on the beach

Occasional indulgence — Reopening some stores and restaurants but only at a certain capacity, for example. Part of the coercion plan is that indulgences are always taken away again, though, and they’re already saying we may have to shut down the world again this fall
