(LifeSiteNews) Something has gone seriously wrong within the hierarchy of the Church. The widespread heresy, scandal, corruption, and apostasy of the shepherds whom Christ aptly condemned as “wolves in sheep’s clothing” is too systematic, and now overt, to have come about by mere chance or human weakness.

Ingenious planning and ruthless, calculated execution have brought the Church’s hierarchy to such a state that evil bishops no longer hide their rejection of the Deposit of Faith, their hatred of Christian morals, or their contempt toward believing, faithful Catholics.

The pro-LGBT, pro-contraception, pro-abortion, pro-women-priests agenda of the German bishops’ “Synodal Way,” the Flemish bishops’ “rite of blessing” for homosexual couples, Cardinal Arthur Roche’s derisive labelling of traditional Catholics as more Protestant than Catholic, the Pope’s elevation of numerous LGBT-promoting bishops to the College of Cardinals, the cover-up of the infamous McCarrick case, the widespread network of the gay lobby among bishops and within the walls of Rome, the handing over of the underground Church in China to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) by the Vatican, the Holy See’s endorsement and joining of the strongly pro-abortion Paris Climate Agreement, the worship of the Pachamama and participation in indigenous invocations of the spirits of the dead… the list goes on and on.

The mass apostasy that we are seeing today within the ranks of the Church’s highest members, however, has not been the work of a single day or of a single year. In this regard, a few facts will help put the present situation in perspective. The report below will include the following:

The Alta Vendita: A Masonic plan laid out

In the late nineteenth century, the document, “The Permanent Instruction on the Alta Vendita,” directed members of the Masonic Lodge to undertake a century’s long effort to undermine the Catholic Church from within. The document stated:

The Pope, whoever he may be, will never come to the secret societies. It is for the secret societies to come to the Church… The work we have undertaken is not the work of a day, nor of a month, nor of a year. It may last many years, a century perhaps, but in our ranks the soldier dies and the fight continues…

Once your reputation is established in the colleges… and in the seminaries – once you shall have captivated the confidence of professors and students, act so that those who are engaged in the ecclesiastic state should love to seek your conversation… Then little by little you will bring your disciples to the degree of cooking desired. When upon all the points of ecclesiastical state at once, this daily work shall have spread our ideas as light, then you will appreciate the wisdom of the counsel in which we take the initiative…

That reputation will open the way for our doctrines to pass to the bosoms of the young clergy, and go even to the depths of convents. In a few years the young clergy will have, by force of events, invaded all the functions. They will govern, administer, and judge. They will form the council of the Sovereign. They will be called upon to choose the Pontiff who will reign; and that Pontiff, like the greater part of his contemporaries, will be necessarily imbued with the… humanitarian principles which we are about to put into circulation…

Let the clergy march under your banner in the belief always that they march under the banner of the Apostolic Keys. You wish to cause the last vestige of tyranny and of oppression to disappear? Lay your nets like Simon Bar Jona. Lay them in the depths of sacristies, seminaries, and convents, rather than in the depth of the sea… You will bring yourselves as friends around the Apostolic Chair.

At the time of the publication of the Alta Vendita, Italian Freemasonry carried an especially anti-clerical animus and hatred of the papacy and the Church. In 1877, the Lodge, Propaganda Massonica, also known as Propaganda Due (P2), was established in Rome for political persons whose membership was kept utterly secret due to the Papal condemnations of Masonry. But by 1917, in celebration of their 200-year anniversary, the Masons brazenly marched in St. Peter’s Square flying a banner that read, “Satan will rule in the Vatican, the Pope will be his slave.”

Several decades later, following the promptings of the Alta Vendita, the Freemasons in Italy began to execute a concrete plan to undermine the Church from within. In 1961, the chairman of the Pontifical Commission for Cultural Heritage of the Church, Monsignor Francesco Marchisano, who went by the Masonic code name FRAMA, wrote three letters to the grand master of the Grand Orient of Italy (G.O.I.) regarding a plan to take over priestly seminaries in Italy’s Piedmont and Lombardy regions.

The seminaries of Trent, Turin, and Udine were identified as ideal locations for the attempt, where a good number of fellow Freemasons were known to have already infiltrated. The letters were obtained and published in September 2002, by Fr. Luigi Villa, in a dossier titled, “An Appointment Scandal,” and again in September 2019, in the journal founded by Fr. Villa, Chiesa Viva.

The 2002 publication came in response to the appointment of Marchisano to the position of vicar general for the Vatican City and president of the San Pietro Works. Villa had previously exposed Marchisano’s full Masonic registration data in June 1981 in Chiesa Viva. The monsignor’s letters to the Grand Master read as follows:

Venerable and Illustrious Grand Master,

With great joy I received, through F. MAPA [Msgr. Pasquale Macchi, Secretary of Pope Paul VI], your delicate task: to quietly organize throughout the Piedmont and Lombardy, a plan to destroy the studies and discipline in the seminaries. I don’t deny that the task is huge and I need many collaborators, especially among the teaching staff. You should notify me so I can approach them as soon as possible with some study tactics. I reserve more accurate communications after a meeting and personal interview with MAPA.

Meanwhile, please accept my prayerful greeting.

He recommends starting with the disintegration of the curriculum, pressing upon our faithful teachers, because with a new updating of topics of pseudo-philosophy and pseudo-theology, they will cast the seed at the students, now thirsty for anything new. It is therefore essential that you pay these teachers well, of whom you already have the list. I will be a diligent overseer and I will refer everything to you, faithfully.

‘Pecorelli’s List’: 120 Vatican officials named Freemasons

On September 12, 1978, nearly a century after the publication of the Alta Vendita and just shy of two decades since the launching of the plot to take over Italy’s seminaries, Italian lawyer and investigative journalist Carmine Minor Pecorelli, director of a news agency and journal specializing in political scandals and crimes, L’Osservatorio Politico, published a list of high-ranking Vatican cardinals, bishops, and priests whom he identified as members of Masonic lodges. The list came to be known as “Pecorelli’s List,” and included the names, dates of entry into Freemasonry, code numbers, and acronyms of 120 Vatican officials.

Pecorelli himself belonged to the Roman Masonic Lodge, Propaganda Due (P2), which was discovered by the Italian police to have ranking members of nearly every branch of the country’s government, including national defense. An official investigation uncovered lists of members grouped by political office, all under the thumb of Licio Gelli, venerable master of the Masonic Lodge.

Why Pecorelli published a list of high-ranking members of the Vatican whom he claimed also numbered among the Freemasons may never be known. Was it slander? Was it to discredit the Church? Or was it because his list would have just exposed the greatest scandal within the walls of the Vatican in his (or our) lifetime, a work not unappealing to a political journalist with sensitive inside information.

What is known is that Pecorelli was shot dead in Rome six months later, almost to the day, on March 20, 1979. He was killed with four gunshots in Rome’s Prati district. Apparently, the bullets were of the Gevelot brand, a peculiarly rare type of bullet not easily found in either legal or clandestine markets. The same type of bullet was discovered in the “Banda della Magliana’s” weapon stock, concealed in the Italian government Health Ministry’s basement. Among those targeted by the police investigations was the head of Propaganda Due, Licio Gelli.

Propaganda Due and Licio Gelli

Licio Gelli had joined Italian Freemasonry only a few years before in 1965. However, he quickly rose to a role of incredible power within Masonry and within Italy when, in 1970, Lino Salvini, then Grand Master of Italy’s Grand Orient Lodge, tasked Gelli with restructuring the Propaganda Due Lodge of Rome, of which he became the venerable master in 1975. This lodge, originally founded in 1877 for Roman politicians whose membership in Masonry had to be kept utterly secret due to their public office and proximity to the papacy, rose from numbering a mere 14 members in the mid-1960’s to almost 1,000 by the end of the 1970’s under Gelli’s leadership.

On March 17, 1981, Italian police raided Gelli’s home as part of an investigation into the alleged kidnapping of the Sicilian banker, Michele Sindona. The authorities discovered lists of 962 members of the Masonic Lodge Propaganda Due. The names included 43 members of Parliament, 3 cabinet members, 43 generals, 8 admirals, the heads of all of Italy’s armed forces, heads of the security services, diplomats, police chiefs in Italy’s four biggest cities, and Vatican officials, to give only a few of the more prominent political personages.

To Italian authorities not numbering among the members of P2, Gelli’s vast network of Masons secretly answerable to him constituted a “state within a state” and threatened the nation’s stability and sovereignty. Having thrown itself into the fray of Italy’s politics, P2 was involved in such things as the “Italicus” train bombing of 1974, in which 12 people were killed, and the Bologna Station massacre, in which 85 people were killed.

Its members were also found to have taken control of the Vatican Bank, bringing the Holy See nearly to bankruptcy in a financial scandal that broke in the mid-1980s and from which the Vatican has yet to fully extricate itself. In the 1970s, the activities of P2 caused a stir even within Freemasonry, finally leading to the official dissolution of the Propaganda Due Lodge in 1981 by the Grand Orient of Italy.

The Gagnon report

Simultaneous to the publication of Pecorelli’s List, within the walls of the Vatican, the findings of a three-year official audit of all the offices of the Holy See, conducted by Archbishop Edouard Gagnon, concerning allegations that certain prelates and clerics of the Roman Curia were secretly members of Freemasonry, were presented in person to Pope John Paul I. According to the recently published memoirs of Gagnon’s secretary, Father Charles Murr, “Archbishop Gagnon compiled an exhaustive dossier which left him in no doubt that these shocking allegations were in fact true.”

Gagnon’s investigation of Freemasonry within the Roman Curia had been officially commissioned by Paul VI in response to the particular accusation that two high-ranking prelates were Freemasons: Annibale Bugnini and Sebastian Baggio. Bugnini was in charge of the Commission for the reform of the Latin Liturgy following the Second Vatican Council, which produced the Novus Ordo Missale Romanum. Baggio was Prefect for the Congregation for Bishops, responsible for the nomination and choice of bishops throughout the entire Catholic world.

While the full contents of Gagnon’s investigation are not publicly known, some details about the affair have been divulged. Among such details is the fact that Gagnon made known that he did in fact have evidence confirming that Archbishop Bugnini and Cardinal Baggio were members of Freemasonry. This evidence included the authentication of documents by INTERPOL, the International Criminal Police Organization, responsible for the investigation of international crimes. Gagnon’s findings thus corroborated Pecorelli’s List, which also included the names of these cardinals.

As a result of Gagnon’s investigation, Bugnini was sent in the last years of his life to Iran as Apostolic Nuncio, where he would ostensibly do the least harm to the Church, given the scarcity of Catholics in Iran and the nearly non-existent interaction between the Holy See and Iran’s Islamic government.

Baggio, however, proved harder to get rid of. He would, in fact, remain head of the Congregation for Bishops until 1984, several years into the pontificate of Pope John Paul II, holding a tenure of twelve years in that position. The length of his tenure would contribute considerably to the incalculable harm done to the Church by this Masonic episcopal kingmaker.

Taking a step back, a few striking facts about the month-long pontificate of John Paul I raise the question of the depth of the Masonic plots within the Vatican. On September 12, 1978, Pecorelli published his list of Vatican officials who were members of Freemasonry. On September 25, 1978, Archbishop Gagnon met privately with John Paul I to present to him the findings of his three-year investigation into the same matter. The archbishop carried a large dossier and made known to his secretary that he broached to the Pontiff the topic of Baggio’s membership in the Masonic Lodge. He also told his secretary that the Pope had agreed to deal with the Mason cardinal.

On September 28, John Paul I called Baggio personally to have him come meet the Pontiff in his office that day. Baggio met privately with the Pope in his personal apartment later that evening at 8 p.m. for about an hour and was heard to be yelling at the Pope by the Swiss Guards who were in attendance outside the room, to which they later testified. The next morning, September 29, John Paul I was found dead in his room. He was declared by the doctor to have died around 11 p.m. the night before. Six months later, on March 20, 1979, Pecorelli was shot dead in Rome.

Given the circumstances and questions surrounding the death of John Paul I – the fact that the Pontiff died so suddenly a mere two weeks after the publication of Pecorelli’s List, three days after he received Gagnon’s report in private audience, and only two hours after his confrontation with Baggio, the Mason naming the Church’s bishops and the last man to have seen the Pontiff before he was found dead – Father Luigi Villa, a Vatican official working under the protection of the Holy Office (about whom more will be said below), ordered Cardinal Palazzini to have an autopsy conducted. Three autopsies, officially called “medical examinations,” were conducted, the verdict of each confirming that the Pope had been assassinated. The results of the autopsies were not published by the Vatican, which officially gave “heart attack” as the cause of the Pope’s death, after changing the narrative several times.

To add to the Masonic intrigue within the Church, in addition to the work of Archbishop Gagnon in investigating Freemasonry within the Vatican, there was another priest who for several decades, both before and after, was also engaged in the same mission.

In 1956, Fr. Luigi Villa, on a visit to Padre Pio, was assigned by the saint with the mission to dedicate his entire life to defending the Church from the work of the Freemasons, especially those within the Church. Subsequently, Pope Pius XII personally confirmed this mission by giving Villa a papal mandate to do exactly this. The Pope placed the priest under the protection of Cardinals Alfredo Ottaviani, Prefect of the Holy Office, Pietro Parente, and Pietro Palazzini.

Villa worked tirelessly over the course of his priestly career to uncover and obstruct the maneuvers of the Freemasons who had infiltrated the ranks of the hierarchy, enduring seven assassination attempts on account of the enemies he made.

In 1971, Villa founded the journal Chiesa Viva, with correspondents from all continents, to expose the work of the Masons within the Church. Villa himself conducted investigations into the membership of prelates and priests within Freemasonry, verifying documents with police records and listings from Masonic lodges. In 1992, Chiesa Viva re-published Pecorelli’s List together with a presentation by Magistrate Carlo Alberto Agnoli, author of “La Massoneria alla Conquista della Chiesa,” who stressed the reliability of the List.

Notable names on Pecorelli’s List

Volumes could be written on the damage done to the Church by the cardinals, bishops, and priests named as Freemasons on Pecorelli’s List. I limit myself to considering only a few.

Archbishop Annibale Bugnini is listed as having joined Freemasonry on April 4, 1963, with the code number 1365/75 and the acronym BUAN. Bugnini was the man who spearheaded the changes made to the liturgy, the aims of which changes were to remove from the Roman Rite of the Mass anything that would be objectionable to Protestants. The texts of the Church’s ancient prayers and her selections from Scripture were stripped of much of their doctrinal content as well as the prized Tridentine emphasis on the sacrificial character of the Mass, so crucial to the countering of Protestant heresies. The changes to the arrangement of the sanctuary were modeled off the style of the Masonic Temple, in which the altar stands in the center rather than facing East.

The noted anthropocentric overtones of the Novus Ordo liturgy and the drastic shift toward a liberalizing of doctrine and practice in the Church, which has accompanied the liturgical changes in the Mass, are the unsurprising fruit of the work of a Freemason allowed to unscrupulously change at will whatever he pleased and thought he could impose with impunity upon the entire Latin Church.

Equally damaging to the Church was the long tenure of Cardinal Sebastian Baggio in his role as Prefect for the Congregation for Bishops, which effectively made him a Masonic puppet-master of sorts. According to Pecorelli’s List, Baggio enrolled in the Masonic Lodge on August 14, 1957, with the code number 85/2640 and the acronym SEBA. In 1962 he was appointed Prefect for the Congregation for Bishops, after Cardinal Jean Villot – also listed by Pecorelli as a Mason, and who at the time served as Secretary of State under Paul VI – lobbied hard to get Baggio appointed to the role. It would have been bad enough that a Freemason should have a hand at all in the choice of any bishop, but that Baggio was made Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and was thus free to name liberal, modernist, homosexual, and Masonic bishops the world over for more than a decade is unfathomable.

In a letter to his venerable grand master, dated January 4, 1969, Baggio thanked the Masonic Lodge for securing his elevation to the Sacred College of Cardinals, assuring his fellow Masons of his continued cooperation in penetrating ecclesiastical circles, especially roles of leadership, for the sake of “ruining the whole Church from within in all sectors.” This letter was photographed and recently published in 2019 in Chiesa Viva:

As in the past, I am always at Your disposal regarding our programs of expansion and penetration in ecclesiastical circles, especially in those spheres of leadership that will be, tomorrow, the main points for ruining the whole Church from within in all sectors.

To add insult to injury to the Bride of Christ and assure the wholesale retreat of the rearguard of orthodox bishops in the Church, it was during Baggio’s rule as bishop-maker that the retirement age of 75 was set for bishops for the first time in the Church’s history. The immediate effect of the novel legislation was that many episcopal See’s throughout the world became vacant as bishops over 75 handed in their letters of resignation. This situation uniquely allowed Baggio an amply free hand to replace nearly the entire episcopacy of the Church in the space of a very short time and to attempt to reshape it in his own image. Rarely has any man, whether pope or bishop, been in such a position to influence so vast a part of the Catholic episcopacy in so short a time.

It was from this era that the Church in the U.S. was given such bishops as McCarrick, Weakland, Mahony, Brown, and Bernadin. The crimes and sins on these men’s hands include homosexual rape, a homosexual affair, sexual abuse of minors, cover-up of abusive priests, advocacy for women priests, a militant trampling upon the Church’s traditional music and liturgy, the forbidding of Catholics to kneel before the Blessed Sacrament for Holy Communion, and the watering-down of the Church’s teaching on the sanctity of human life for the unborn, to put just a few sins and scandals to their names.

Other persons named on Pecorelli’s List include Cardinal Villot, the Secretary of State for the Holy See under Paul VI, who acted as a kind of patron for Baggio, getting him appointed to the Congregation for Bishops. Also named was Bishop Paul Marcinkus, head of the Vatican Bank, who joined Masonry on August 21, 1967, with the code number 43/649, and the acronym MARPA, who was involved in the bank scandal that nearly toppled the Holy See financially in the 1980s.

Another prominent name was Cardinal Agostino Casaroli, Minister of Foreign Affairs under Paul VI and Secretary of State under John Paul II. Casaroli entered Masonry on September 28, 1957, with the code number 41/076, under the acronym CASA. It was Casaroli who was responsible for the Vatican’s open attitude toward the communists during the pontificate of Paul VI, a policy called Ostpolitik, which led the Pope to remove Cardinal József Mindszenty as Primate of Hungary, resulting in the establishment of a state church under the control of Hungary’s communist rulers. This policy was later rejected by John Paul II, coming as he did from behind the Iron Curtain, but the damage to the Church in Eastern Europe had already been done.

Now, lest it be thought that the Masons named on Pecorelli’s List are a thing of the past, it must be pointed out that within the last decade names on his list continue to appear in the goings-on of the Vatican. Just one such case is Monsignor Pio Vito Pinto, whom Pecorelli identified as having entered Masonry on April 2, 1970, with the code number 3317/42 and the acronym PIPIVI. Pinto ruled as Dean of the Church’s highest court, the Roman Rota, from September 2012 to March 2021, making headlines when he took it upon himself to criticize the four cardinals who had submitted the “dubia” to Pope Francis regarding his teaching in Amoris Laetitia on admitting the divorced and remarried to Holy Communion.

As should be clear to anyone looking at the facts surrounding Pecorelli’s List, Freemasonry has certainly entered the walls of the Vatican at least several decades ago. Full verification of the list, while difficult, is certainly possible, given the police seizure of Licio Gelli’s documents naming all the members of Rome’s Masonic Lodge, Propaganda Due. Archbishop Gagnon’s report also lies unpublished within the archives of the Vatican. In addition to these sources, there are the investigations conducted by Fr. Luigi Villa, some of which were published in the journal Chiesa Viva.

With Italian prelates such as Bishop Francesco Soddu of Terni recently presuming to publicly attend the inauguration of a new entrance to the Masonic Lodge of the Grand Orient of Italy, a new investigation into Freemasonry within the ranks of the Church’s hierarchy is long overdue. Only then will the damage Masonry has caused and is causing the Body of Christ begin to be brought to light.

PA Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman was caught on camera committing the crime of vandalism against a black-owned business. This happened while Fetterman was Mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania.

The story was covered by local news when it happened. Fetterman didn’t even care that surveillance cameras were in place and would catch what he was doing.

Fetterman changed the marquee letter sign of a place called Club 804. He changed it from “Opening Soon Under New Management” to “Closed Not Opening Soon.”

The PA Senate race has tightened up between Fetterman and Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Per USA Today, “Fetterman, the state’s lieutenant governor, was backed by 46% of those surveyed. Oz, a celebrity doctor endorsed by former president Donald Trump, was backed by 40%. That’s closer than the nine-point lead, 46%-37%, that Fetterman held in the USA TODAY/Suffolk survey taken in June.”

The PA Senate seat is a crucial one for the November midterms. It’s important for the Republican Party to show out in full force in the state of Pennsylvania.

PHOENIX, Ariz. — After announcing Bishop John P. Dolan lost his sister to death by suicide, the Diocese of Phoenix on Wednesday renewed his “urgent plea to get mental health ministry underway.”

“Our hearts are breaking as we make known the loss of Mary Elizabeth Dolan, youngest sister of Bishop John P. Dolan of the Diocese of Phoenix,” the diocese shared on its social media pages Oct. 19.

“Mary, who from her days in college suffered from mental depressive disorder, was found on Oct. 16th to have died by suicide,” the statement said.

The diocese also shared that Mary is the third of Bishop Dolan’s eight siblings to die by suicide, “underlining his urgent plea to get mental health ministry underway in the Diocese of Phoenix.” He also lost a brother-in-law to suicide.

Bishop Dolan, who was installed as the fifth bishop of Phoenix in June, announced plans to establish a Catholic mental health ministry in the diocese last month.

“There are lots of people who are dealing with loved ones who are in crisis,” Bishop Dolan, 60, told CNA Sept. 19. “It’s a quiet work of charity, and obviously they need all the help they can get.”

The bishop hopes the new office will “let people know that they’re not alone when it comes to mental health.”

Bishop Dolan explained in an interview with Phoenix TV station ABC15 in September that his brother Tom died by suicide at the age of 19, after struggling, unbeknownst to his family, with mental health disorders. Bishop Dolan also lost both his 27-year-old sister Therese and brother-in-law to suicide eight years later, during his third year of studies in the seminary.

“That was very hard for me because I was just not talking about it. We just didn’t,” he told ABC15.

The Diocese of Phoenix shared Wednesday part of the tribute Bishop Dolan made on his personal Facebook page to his sister Mary, who was a musician and mother of two children.

“As a child, Mary was active in sports and music and faith,” he wrote. “She continued with her spiritual journey which included a special devotion to The Little Flower, St. Therese of Lisieux.”

Mary had a career in the coffee house music genre, the diocese wrote.

“She was featured in many San Diego magazines and television segments and took her guitar on the road across the nation in order to spread her musical style. Unfortunately, Mary continued to struggle with depression and debilitating back pain which prevented her from continuing in her career,” Bishop Dolan wrote.

“I am convinced that the Lord who conquers all things is leading Mary to Himself. She is very much loved and very much missed. May she rest in peace,” he added.

The Phoenix Diocese said it is still considering applications for coordinator of the forthcoming office of Catholic mental health ministry.

You’re already seeing food prices skyrocket…

In the next 3o days, you could soon see many foods disappear from shelves at your local grocery store — including staples like pasta, meat, eggs, and bread.

Now, it probably won’t be every item which goes out of stock in your local store.

Who knows? Maybe we’ll be lucky enough to scrounge up rice and beans…

But however it shakes out, it’s clear to me we are facing a FOOD DISASTER of epic proportions over the next few months…

As I said, the political consequences of a food crisis in America will be disastrous for the Democrats.

It won’t matter much who controls Congress, the GOP or Democrats…

Our farmers are already not producing enough food, right now…

And as a result the price of food is going through the roof…

The price of wheat is up almost 100% in a year-and-a-half.

Remember, every piece of food you eat was grown somewhere.

And growing food requires fertilizer.

Higher fertilizer costs mean higher costs for food.

The last time food prices spiked like this was in 2011. As a result, we saw food riots, revolutions, terrorism, and war.

Today we’re facing something even worse…

Potential worldwide famine

It’s the end of the world as we know it…

I’m already seeing a lit fuse. And a global-sized pile of TNT is about to go off.

If my research is correct, markets will be crushed in ways we’ve never seen before…

The dollar will be hammered…

Food inflation will ignite even more monetary inflation, and potentially hyperinflation.

Worse still, we could run out of food…

You’re already seeing empty shelves at your local supermarket.

According to a Consumer Price Index Summary, the “food at home” index jumped by an annual 13.1%, which is the fastest pace since March 1979.

To put that into perspective, that index rose, on average, 1.5% every year for the last decade.

A 13% jump is unprecedented.

It’s more than a 733% increase in food prices over what we’ve seen in the past.

That’s 7 times more cost in your grocery bill. Ouch!

The immediate consequence is the cost of food will likely skyrocket in the next 12 months.

But it gets worse…

Earlier this year, President Biden made a shocking confession…

President Biden went on TV and declared food shortages are “gonna be real…”

At least Biden is being honest about what’s coming!

In response, Tucker Carlson of Fox News said:

“Our problem has always been having too much food. Now we won’t have enough…”

If that wasn’t grim enough for you, the Washington Post opined,

“There is almost certainly not going to be enough food to feed the world this year. The situation is quickly becoming ‘catastrophic,’ with a high likelihood of famine…”

We can hope and pray that the U.S. government can stop this…

But for my money, I’m not planning on it.

As news of the food shortages spreads, I’m expecting hordes of desperate shoppers to clean out entire supermarkets, stripping every shelf bare…

I can see “flash mobs” robbing items right off the shelves in every city in America…

And grocery stores responding with increased security and checkpoints.

I’m also predicting that the Federal government will respond with attempts at price controls and rationing, causing even more shortages.

We already saw American cities set on fire in 2020.

What will happen when we see catastrophic food shortages, bread lines, and bread riots?

Desperate people will do desperate things…

A truly nightmarish global food crisis really is upon us.

And it’s going to hit America, hard…

But look, I’m NOT trying to scare you.

In fact, as an expert on the economy and markets, I wrote this letter you’re reading to share the facts with you about what’s coming — and to share what you can do about it to protect your money and your lifestyle…

He was 26 years old, and lived in Tunisia all his life.

Mo supported his family by selling fruit from a cart.

With his meager earnings, he supported his mother, uncle, and five younger siblings. But Mo had a big problem…

Because of the food shortages back in 2010, government officials were confiscating Mo’s fruit.

Food was in short supply — and the corrupt officials figured they could simply steal Mo’s food and livelihood.

Mo had had enough.

So he doused himself with gasoline and burned himself to death in protest.

This is certainly a tragic tale. But there’s a twist…

What Mo sparked that day was bigger than the fire which ended his tragic life…

In fact, as the story of Mo’s death spread, it launched one of the most violent revolts of recent history.

His death became the trigger for the “Arab Spring” in 2011…

Maybe you remember the Arab Spring. But do you know what caused it?

Food inflation!

After a sudden surge in food prices — prices doubled overnight — civil disobedience and mass riots shook this part of the world to the core.

Protestors were beaten in the streets…

Governments were overthrown…

Dictators were stabbed and shot to death by rioters …

From Tunisia, the violent protests spread to five other countries: Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain.

In all five countries, their ruler was deposed… or killed.

The riots, civil wars, or insurgencies then spread to other parts of the region… leading to a global crisis.

Food prices blew up the Middle East in 2011… could it happen again? Could it blow up America?

“Mo Bouazizi didn’t set himself on fire because he couldn’t blog or vote. People set themselves on fire because they can’t stand seeing their family wither away slowly, not of sorrow, but of cold stark hunger.”

Could we be seeing a new “Arab Spring” break out around the world, and potentially right here in America?

But history is already repeating, as “Foodflation” strikes the world again:

In Peru, people have taken to the street to protest high food prices. Peru deployed its military to quell the food riots — and at least six people have died in clashes with police, authorities reported…
With higher wheat prices, protests have broken out in Iraq and Sudan, sparking fears of a new Arab Spring…
We’re already seeing food rationing in places like Germany, Spain, and Greece…

To quote from author Alfred Henry Lewis, “There are only nine meals between mankind and anarchy…”

Around the world, hundreds of millions of people are already down to their last nine meals…

And millions of Americans are already struggling with food security.

But in case you are wondering if this food crisis is only a short-term problem, consider this:

What we’re seeing now on the shelves for many foods was the fruit of last year’s harvest.

Remember, all of our food has to be grown and harvested before it ends up in the grocery store.

Food has to be harvested this year to be available next year…

And next year’s harvest is looking very bad…

The Spark That Blows Up the Global Food System

What’s going to light off this powder keg of “Foodflation”?

The answer lies with our farmers.

Consider these facts:

Right now, farmers across the world can’t get enough fertilizer for their crops…

According to Bloomberg:

“Expensive fertilizers are just one of many factors that have driven food prices to a record. In response, rice farmers across Asia are scaling back usage of the nutrients, threatening harvests of a staple that feeds half the world. The repercussions could be huge: The International Rice Research Institute predicts that yields could drop 10% in the next season, causing a loss of 36 million tons of rice, or the equivalent of feeding 500 million people.”

What’s all this mean?

According to the Wall Street Journal, “farms are failing as fertilizer prices drive up the cost of food…”

This is also very bad for farmers right here in the U.S.

You see, farmers here in the U.S. are facing a big problem.

If fertilizer is too expensive, farmers will simply plant less crops…

And less crops means higher pries, and shortages!

Ben Riensche, a farmer from Oklahoma, recently told Tucker Carlson:

“Soaring fertilizer prices are likely to bring spiked food prices. If you’re upset that gas is up a dollar or two a gallon, wait until your grocery bill is up $1,000.00 a month, and it might not just manifest itself in terms of price. It could be quantity as well. Empty Shelf syndrome may be starting.”

Farmers are running out supplies they need to farm…

For example: Shortages of farm equipment, and parts for farm equipment, like tractors.

The same chip shortage we are seeing create shortages in automobiles is hitting farm equipment too.

Jim Boyer, a farmer in Iowa, is still waiting for a $40 emissions-related sensor for his tractor from the factory. And he’s not sure if it will arrive anytime soon.

According to Farmer Jim:

“I cannot drive that tractor — a quarter-million-dollar piece of equipment — because I cannot get that sensor…”

No tractors mean no harvest.

But if that wasn’t bad enough…

If we see a failed harvest, we’ll see higher food prices, food shortages, and food hoarding…

We’ve all seen what happens at grocery stores, such as when a hurricane or snowstorm is incoming…

We all saw what happened at supermarkets during the Covid supply shortages…

People get scared and start hoarding food.

Can you blame them? I don’t…

But the fact is, hoarding creates a “self-perpetuating food inflation spiral.”

Prices rise due to hoarding, leading to shortages, which leads to people getting scared, leading to hoarding, higher prices, and more shortages…

And on it goes…

To quote from Barron’s:

“As grocery prices climb, so do the odds of unhinged inflation expectations, opening the door to an upward spiral in prices…”

In short: Food inflation is going to lead to more food inflation, which ultimately leads to shortages, and potentially a total collapse of the global food system.

That’s bad news for Joe Biden’s political future…

If the current U.S. policy to cut off China’s access to advanced Artificial Intelligence chips and even force U.S. citizens and companies working with China’s semiconductor industry to leave China continues, expect the following results within 10 years:

China, which already makes extraordinarily capable AI chips via firms such as Alibaba, will lead the world in the design and manufacture of such chips.
The global semiconductor ecosystem—the thousands of interwoven vendors, customers, designers, manufacturers, and capital equipment makers now centered around the U.S—will rearrange itself. China will replace the U.S. at the center.
The most important U.S. firms, such as Nvidia (NVDA), AMD, and Applied Materials will decline in sales, size, intellectual capital, and influence as their exclusion from the emerging China-dominated ecosystem will limit their output, their progress on the learning curve, and their access to talent.
None of the European nations or companies currently indicating cooperation with U.S. policy will continue to do so for long. As China grows to dominate the ecosystem, firms like Holland’s ASML (ASML) (the ONLY maker of the advanced photolithography machines capable of etching single-digit nanometer circuitry needed for multi-billion transistor chips) will have no choice but to sell every machine they can to China.
As China’s leverage grows it is more likely that ASML will find itself politically unable to sell to the U.S. than to China. The same pattern will emerge throughout the new ecosystem.
South Korea, already one of the more pro-China Asian states will grow closer to China. Most western commentators emphasize the very real importance of Taiwan and Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) in manufacturing the most advanced single-digit nanometer chips. But Korea’s Samsung is at least as proficient as TSM and may even be pulling ahead. As the ecosystem is reoriented around China, Samsung will see a steady increase in the proportion of its chip-manufacturing and design revenue coming from China. Samsung will expand its facilities in China.
Korea will strengthen its political ties with China. China may emerge as a more reliable guarantor than the U.S. of South Korean security against North Korea.
Taiwan will be forced to choose between the Chinese and U.S. semiconductor ecosystems. It will choose the Chinese.
Already the U.S. has granted exceptions to Samsung and TSM to continue to manufacture in China and sell chips to China. This “reasonableness” is the first indication of many to come that the U.S. has overestimated its influence.
Concessions like those made to Samsung and TSM will not change the message the Chinese (or the Koreans or Taiwanese) are hearing: They must replace the U.S. as a supplier and intellectual partner.
U.S. politicians will not learn their lesson. Both the politicians and the national security lobby, which is funded by fears it deliberately flames, will scream all the louder as each of the predictions above become truer. They will demand even more restrictions further isolating the U.S. semiconductor industry, which will continue to decline.
The U.S. will cede not only leadership of the semiconductor industry but its global political leadership as well as Europe and Asia are drawn more closely to China.

The last couple of weeks have seen repeated triumphalist headlines—all too often from conservative publications that should know better—to the effect that the Biden administration has “decapitated” the Chinese semiconductor industry. Within a decade we will see who has decapitated whom.

A shared theme in all dystopian explorations of future and current totalitarian regimes—whether China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, or Cuba—is government control of all media information, fueled by electronic surveillance.

A skeptical public learns to say one thing publicly but quite another privately. It nervously nods yes at the news while at work, but at home cynically assumes the opposite of whatever is publicly said to be true.

RIP, First Amendment

Such electronic propaganda has sadly become characteristic of the world’s oldest consensual government.

In America, we once believed our First Amendment prevented a government monopoly on information. But in the age of globalization, the Internet, and social media, the state has become the enemy—not the protector—of free speech.

One obvious sign is that the Biden Administration keeps trying to create new sorts of ministries of truth or “Disinformation Governance Boards.” It alleges such Orwellian censors must combat “disinformation” and“misinformation.” In fact, these bureaucracies are designed to criminalize unwanted free expression while also advancing state propaganda.

Among our Washington officials, the following myths were once declared the official version of the “truth”:

ü Mounted border patrol agents “whipped” innocent illegal aliens.

ü Officer Brian Sicknick was violently “killed” by Trump protestors.

ü An “armed” insurrection sought to stage a pre-planned coup on January 6 designed to overthrow the government by violent means.

ü Christopher Steele’s dossier was a factual, well-researched compilation.

ü Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a serial sexual assaulter.

ü Jussie Smollett in Chicago’s wee hours valiantly fought off white, racist MAGA-hatted thugs.

ü Hunter Biden’s laptop was abject Russian disinformation.

ü And Joe Biden does not suffer from serious cognitive issues.

What is unique about these lies is not that the government and its media partners advanced them, but that to this day, some continue to disseminate such untruths despite widespread and publicly available information discrediting them.

California Governor Gavin Newsom just signed into law a bill criminalizing the work of doctors who express public doubts about medical orthodoxy. Specifically, the law warns that so-called dissident opinion is synonymous with “misinformation.” It is now a crime for doctors to spread “false information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus contrary to the standard of care.”

If we were to criminalize all of history’s doctors who “contradicted scientific consensus contrary to the standard of care” then Hippocrates, Edward Jenner, Louis Pasteur, and Marie Curie would have been felons in their day.

In America at one time “contemporary scientific consensus”assured us that cigarettes were not inherently carcinogenic, that H. pylori played no role in stomach ulcers, and that 120/80 is the perfect desired blood pressure.

In contrast, if recent orthodoxy and “contemporary scientific consensus” is defined by the sayings of the now-sainted Anthony Fauci, and if we canonized all his social media-spread misrepresentations, then today we would believe the following:

ü The Wuhan lab had no role in the birth of the COVID epidemic;

ü The United States did not subsidize gain-of-function research in China;

ü No masks, one mask, and two masks are advisable;

ü Travel bans were unwise during a pandemic but cruises were acceptable;

ü Variously, two mRNA shots, three shots, four shots, and now five shots are needed for immunity from COVID;

ü and shutting down the entire economy and the schools were far less costly than keeping both open during the COVID epidemic.

Big Tech and D.C. Fusion

The war on free expression is occurring not just because the government arbitrarily decided to brand some ideas criminal and others orthodox and then to mete out rewards and punishments accordingly.

It has also de facto fused with the multitrillion-dollar, left-wing media monopolies of Silicon Valley to help ensure that progressives benefit from such fusion misinformation while its opponents suffer. Cyberspace is a public domain. Those companies who use it to profit are public utilities. And yet California leftists who once regulated the power company Pacific Gas and Electric into insolvency mysteriously exempt tech utilities with far more life-and-death power over the public.

Silicon Valley and both the Washington media and government assured us that the Russian collusion hoax was a slam-dunk conspiracy. Indeed, it would be quickly exposed by old Bob Mueller and his “dream team” run by zealot Andrew Weissmann. Twenty-two months and $40 million later it was exposed as a complete fraud. The fantasy ended with the bathos of a doddering Bob Mueller claiming he did not know about Fusion GPS or the Steele dossier, the twin catalysts for his special counsel appointment.

We soon learned that an FBI lawyer confessed to altering court documents to frame an innocent citizen. The bureau operatives also admitted to offering a $1 million payoff to Steele if he could just prove anything in his otherwise concocted dossier that the FBI nonetheless would knowingly continue to pass on as gospel to the FISA judges.

Certain topics have become taboo on social media and government-sanctioned monopolies—most egregiously any discussion of alternative COVID-19 policies and treatments deemed antithetical to those advanced by Drs. Fauci or Deborah Birx.

To suggest that January 6 was not an insurrection but a buffoonish riot of a few violent idiots who stormed the Capitol chambers (dwarfed in magnitude by 120 days of continuous looting, rioting, arson, and violence that killed 35-40, injured 1500 police officers, and accounted for $2 billion in damage) was punished by denial of the right of communication. To suggest that the 2020 election was essentially decided in the Spring of 2020 when left-wing fusion groups, against the laws of state legislatures, changed the voting laws in swing states under the pretense of the COVID pandemic, earned cancellation.

More specifically, the twin monopolies of Twitter and Facebook both helped to suppress the truth and spread the lie about the provenance of the Hunter Biden laptop and thereby warped the 2020 election news coverage.

Progressive Molly Ball’s infamous Time braggadocious essay boasted of the fusion efforts to ensure a Biden victory in 2020 (e.g., “There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes”). Indeed, she gushed, the conspiracy “both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs.”And of that media-government-left-wing fusion, Ball further bragged, “That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.”

Mark Zuckerberg did not just use his companies to modulate and censor information for political purposes or collude with the FBI media teams. He also infused $419 (tax-deductible) million into supposedly nonpartisan, tax-exempt political groups that were created to absorb or fuse with the work of registrars in key left-wing precincts to warp and expand the Biden vote.

Upstarts vs. Startups

The California political clout and media monopolies of Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter are not that much different from the infamous “Big Four,” whose monopolies and capital ran the late 19th century Central Pacific Railroad—and with it, California. Like the old railroad, Silicon Valley usually insults the efforts of fledgling rivals and alternative social media as pathetic, insignificant, doomed to failure, amateurish, irrelevant, incompetent, and of no concern—all as the proper prelude to their paranoid efforts to abort them.

In the case of kindred left-wing “start-ups,” Big Tech buys them out and absorbs them. In contrast, they seek to destroy the tiny few “up-starts” on the Right by denying them platforms and application access or bleeding them out in court. Their modus operandi is similar to what Frank Norris once outlined in his 1901 novel The Octopus: A Story of California.

The story of California’s demise is largely the use and abuse of Silicon Valley’s billions of dollars to pass crack-pot laws and regulations that exempt their elite creators at the expense of the middle class. Remember, cool left-wing hipsters with nose rings, T-shirts, tattoos, and flip-flops are the most ruthless monopolistic, crony capitalists in America’s history. They make a Jay Gould or William Randolph Hearst look like pikers in comparison.

How does such an octopus continue to grow?

First, there is the Big Tech two-step. When a Republican administration takes power, any effort to break apart the monopolies immediately is met with shrieks of “government attacks on the free-enterprise system!” Thus, to conservative administrations, CEOs of Silicon Valley pose as veritable Milton Friedmans, eager to claim ideological affinities with 19th-century free-market, good ol’ American success stories.

To left-wing administrations, they revert to form and assure that mega-profits will pour into the campaign coffers of hard-Left Democrats while six-figure jobs await revolving-door Washington left-wing apparatchiks.

Second, true to its railroad octopus model, Silicon Valley is adept at suffocating any competitor that threatens its status-quo strangleholds over electronic communications or is deemed an ideological contrarian. And the powers of the corporate Valley are unlimited, enjoying the greatest concentration of wealth in the history of civilization, with some $11 trillion in market capitalization between San Francisco and San Jose alone.

Google, Apple, and Facebook themselves are worth multi-trillions of dollars. Google controls 90 percent of all Internet searches. Over half the world’s smartphones are Apple-branded. Facebook claims nearly 3 billion monthly users, almost half the world’s population. Along with Amazon and Twitter, these mega-corporations decide who can disseminate the news and how.

After Trump was banned from social media, he and millions of his followers poured into the only existing alternative, the upstart rival to Twitter, Parler. That effort lasted just hours. Almost immediately, Apple, Amazon, and Google, on Washington’s prompt, suspended Parler’s social media platforms—claiming it was a conduit for January 6-like “insurrectionary” activity.

None of them remembered that the 120 days of 2020 rioting, arson, looting, and death were often carefully planned and coordinated by BLM and Antifa on left-wing social media platforms. We now know that Facebook, to take one example, censors content in a manner that the FBI or Pfizer—or other agencies and corporations—directs.

Third, a revolving door ensures that those in left-wing administrations retire to and then reemerge from these media entities—earning fabulous salaries and stock options. The subtext is that their past federal service to the octopus should be rewarded, even as these political hires will at some time re-enter government and continue their left-wing Big Tech advocacy.

Target Truth Social

We end with the latest example of Truth Social, the demonized Trump effort to provide a social media alternative to Twitter and other social media, currently run by the bête noir of America’s left wing, former California Republican Representative Devin Nunes.

Note that all media coverage of Truth Social is by definition negative. It is almost as if the new company had nefariously worked hand-in-glove with the FBI to censor opinion or had sent millions of dollars into election precincts to warp voting, or was removing participants for suggesting mRNA vaccines do not stop the spread of COVID. Oh, wait . . .

Instead, in perfect fusion fashion—prompted especially by the New York Times and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.)—the SEC and apparently the Department of Justice are combining to “investigate” Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC). That investment company had been planning to merge with Trump Media and Technology Group, and then to take the new aggregate company public to obtain critical investment.

Naturally, the Biden Administration is attempting to slow down or block the merger of Truth Social, and thereby starve the company of critical operating capital. After bitter complaints, and the bad publicity that followed the Parler strangulation, Apple and Google recently allowed Truth Social apps to be sold in their online application stores. And the result? Within hours of Google’s about-face, Truth Social became its number one app seller.

Truth Social earns state and corporate hatred in a trifecta fashion: one, for allowing coverage of anti-woke subjects; two, for being run by CEO Devin Nunes who was despised by the Left for early on exposing the nature of its Clinton-FBI-fed, Russian collusion hoax as a naked attempt to ruin the Trump presidency; and three, because Truth Social is now the social media home of Donald Trump himself—along with his reported 4 million followers.

Even in their infancies and against daunting odds, companies like Truth Social offer alternative news. They can offer some reassurance that artistic or political expression in America can at least still reach the public. The frequently banned and ostracized “Libs of TikTok” or the journalists of Project Veritas found in Truth Social a temporary refuge in which to continue to communicate freely.

Edgy entertainment expression—whether the hounded country-western star John Rich’s release of his patriotic, anti-woke song “Progress” (number one on the charts for two weeks) or Breitbart’s debut of “My Son Hunter”—have alike found sanctuary in Truth Social.

As long as there are at least some alternatives to Twitter and Facebook, like a Truth Social or a Parler, that can escape the media-D.C. tentacles, these monopolies at least have to be cognizant that their own repressive and anti-constitutional practices have the potential to fuel the growth of dynamic competitors.

The sharper wits of Silicon Valley rightly assume that if their commercial products are finally imprinted in the public mind as toxic extensions of their left-wing groupthink, then the majority of Americans will shun them—and that is why they seek to ensure that the public has no such alternatives.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on the way Democrats are talking about abortion:
Most Americans are worried about inflation, their life savings, crime, open borders and education. Way down the list of concerns is abortion. But for Democrat leaders, nothing is more important.
“Hysteria” is the only word that accurately describes what leading Democrats are saying. Why the sky hasn’t fallen is a mystery. Here are some examples.
On October 17, Vice President Kamala Harris opened her remarks at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles by noting “when I’m traveling around the country, one of the feelings that I hear most is fear. It’s fear.” She later said, “there’s a lot of fear.”
The fear she was talking about was not the fear of being killed, raped or mugged. Nor was it the fear of families not being able to pay their bills. It was the fear that in some places elected officials have placed restrictions on abortion.
On October 18, President Biden held a political rally on abortion saying, “Patients are being denied prescriptions that they’ve been taking for years for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis, you know, because pharmacies are concerned that those drugs could also be used to terminate a pregnancy so they’re not giving them their prescriptions.”
No evidence was given.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said after the overturning of Roe v. Wade that “People will die because of this decision.”
She was not referring to children being killed by abortion but to some hypothetical case involving what she calls pregnant “menstruating people.”
A new TV ad from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee quotes a doctor saying he thought the days of “back-alley abortions” were over. “Too often, women died. I thought those days were long behind us. But not for Mehmet Oz [the Pennsylvania Republican senatorial candidate].”
Fact Check: According to the CDC, the number of women who died of an illegal abortion in 1972 (the year before Roe) was not some astronomical figure, as pro-abortion activists have alleged. The number was 39.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that “MAGA” Republicans have “pledged to ban abortion in all 50 states and sentence doctors for 5 years in prison.” Similarly, Kamala Harris has said their goal is to criminalize doctors and nurses “with up to five years in prison.”
This is patently untrue. What some Republicans have said is that healthcare providers who intentionally allow a baby born alive as a result of a botched abortion could serve up to 5 years in prison if they failed to attend to the child. The issue is infanticide, not abortion, which apparently makes no difference to these women.
Rep. Eric Swalwell is running a TV ad showing cops with guns drawn showing up at a house handcuffing a woman in front of her screaming husband and children because she had an unlawful abortion.
In fact, the only people who are being subjected to SWAT Teams showing up at their homes with guns drawn are pro-life activists.
Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams charged in August that her opponent, Gov. Brian Kemp, wants to “investigate and punish women for having miscarriages.” PolitiFact, hardly a right-wing source, said her accusation was completely false.
To demagogue any issue is despicable, and it is doubly so when the issue is sensitive and divisive. It is a sign of desperation that so many prominent Democrats are distorting, and indeed lying, about abortion, just to get votes.
