ANTHONY ESOLENdivorce

“If you forgive men their trespasses,” says Jesus, “your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Mt. 6:14-15).

In permitting divorced and remarried Catholics to partake of the Eucharist, Pope Francis may seem to have such words in mind, words that warn us that they who call for justice alone may get more justice than they bargain for. I do not wish to engage that question here—what to do after the fact, when there may be in the soul of the remarried person a conditional regret but no absolute will to make matters whole again. I understand why that absolute will may be wanting. It is not always or only because of cowardice and selfishness, though no doubt those do their bad work. There may be children by the second marriage to consider as decisive, when children by the first marriage were not. There may be a human and secular promise made to the second spouse to consider as decisive, when the sacred promise made to the first spouse was not.

But why should there have been a divorce in the first place? If Pope Francis has addressed this question, it does not appear as central to his thinking. Pope John Paul II gave us, in The Jeweler’s Shop, a profound meditation upon the love to be found in a marriage when love seems to have died. The face of Christ appears to the unhappy woman as the face of the husband she no longer loves—or believes that she no longer loves. To sentence a marriage to the electric chair is to do exactly what Jesus commands us not to do, when we pray as he taught us to pray. It is to be contumacious in judgment, to say, “This marriage deserves to die,” or, worse, “This marriage is already dead,” so that the juridical death sentence by the state is a mere formality.

Someone may object that forgiveness is one thing, but living together is another. Unless we are talking about grave moral or physical danger, that objection has no force. Imagine saying to God, “Please take me to heaven, and take my brother also, but keep us apart forever, because I do not want to look at the miserable scoundrel.” That is to insist upon your private closet from hell, even in heaven. It is a contradiction. Jesus lays no conditions upon our being forgiven, except for our willingness to forgive others. This is not to be understood as a quid pro quo. In the very refusal to forgive, the soul hardens itself against grace. It is to say, “God, I reject the economy of grace and choose instead the economy of law; give me only what I deserve, because I will give to this brother of mine only what he deserves. And he sure doesn’t deserve a feast.”

But what to do in the case of unhappiness? When those experts in the Jewish law ask Jesus his opinion on divorce, they take for granted that there are grounds for it, having to do with the man’s feelings. For Moses had permitted divorce when the man “finds some indecency” in his wife, or when he “dislikes her” (Dt. 24:1-3). The Hebrew is more forceful: the indecency is a “nakedness,” suggesting shameful behavior, and the dislikeis downright hate, as in the psalms: “You hate all evildoers” (Ps. 6:5). Jesus, however, dismisses both the permission of the law in certain cases, and the hatred. They are beside the point. “Have you not read,” says he, “that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one [flesh]?’” (Mt. 19:4-5; the RSV unaccountably relegates the word “flesh” to a footnote). The Mosaic permission was not, if we trust Jesus, an act of mercy. It was a compromise with the sklerocardia of man, his hardness of heart.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW

But we may no longer indulge the disease. It is no accident that this stunning command regarding divorce comes immediately after the parable of the servant who owed his master a huge sum of money, was forgiven, and then straightaway seized upon a fellow servant who owed him a day’s wages and had him thrown into prison. When the lord found out about it, he gave that ungrateful and merciless servant what he implicitly demanded, the economy of a strict accounting. “So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you,” says Jesus, “if you do not forgive your brother from your heart” (Mt. 18:35).

We must not complicate what Jesus makes clear. Jesus urges us to forgive, not because the sinner deserves it, not because it feels good, and not because it is socially healthy. He urges us to forgive because we ourselves are in debt to God: the ultimate debt, because we owe to Him our lives on earth, and all our hope of salvation in the life to come. The husband must not put away his wife, and the wife must not put away her husband. It is tantamount to a refusal to forgive. This refusal is not a temporary stubbornness, as was felt by the elder son in the parable—at least we hope it was temporary, so that at last he joined the feast and welcomed his prodigal younger brother home. It is not a sin such as anyone may commit in the heat of the moment—an angry word, a slap in the face. Divorce is premeditated, deliberate, and meant to be final.

That is a dreadful thing.

We can go farther still. Consider that Jesus appeals to the intention of the Father “from the beginning,” that is, before the fall of man. The Mosaic law is predicated upon that fall. But the new law, the new covenant, the law of charity, aims at restoring to man the wholeness he lost. Therefore, the wedding feast is no mere metaphor for the kingdom of God. Not all the miserable sagas of human pride, violence, lust, folly, ambition, envy, greed, and hardness of heart could separate God from his love of man; He has not divorced us, though we try our hardest to set ourselves far from Him. How then can we wear a divorce-garment and go to that wedding feast? We are not here talking about sluggishness to forgive. We have been warned of our sin, warned against hardness of heart, forbidden by the Lord himself to divorce, and invited to the great wedding feast of Christ and his Church. How shall we then invert the whole structure of salvation? “Christ will not divorce me,” says the sinner, “but I am going to divorce you.” The presumption is staggering.

At this point, a last defense may be mounted, an appeal to social utility or necessity. The murderer, in strict justice, forfeits his right to live because his deeds have set him at war with mankind. Can we say something analogous about divorce, that though it may be unfortunate, when love has died it is necessary?

The analogy is bad. Divorce does not involve a society’s self-protection; the reverse is true. Divorce is a plague upon society; its availability helps to make indifferent marriages bad, and bad marriages worse; it casts the shadow of falsehood upon every sacred vow; it makes young people wary of marrying at all, and thus does it contribute to loneliness, confusion, and the miseries of fatherlessness; it inverts the wisdom of Solomon, and saws its children in half. All that anyone can say against the death penalty can be said against divorce, and more properly and powerfully.

Pope Francis has wondered about what the children will feel, if they see their father with another woman and he is not permitted to receive Communion. We should back up a step or two, as my friend Philip Lawler has suggested, and wonder about what the children feel when they see their father with another woman, period. Or when they see their mother with another man. Or when they come home every day and do not see their father. What about their feelings then?

It has long struck me that every sexual sin is, directly or indirectly, an attack upon the family, and thus also an offense against childhood and children. “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them,” says Jesus, when the disciples want to guard him against the enthusiasm of the crowds (Mt. 19:14). People will say that their children can never be happy unless they themselves are happy. So do they oil their consciences with a lie. They imply, in saying so, that they can very well be happy regardless of how unhappy they make their children. The child, meanwhile, has no such calculation. He accepts his family as he accepts the order of the world, with the good and the bad of it. The alternative to order is chaos, darkness.

But why should there have been a divorce in the first place? If Pope Francis has addressed this question, it does not appear as central to his thinking. Pope John Paul II gave us, in The Jeweler’s Shop, a profound meditation upon the love to be found in a marriage when love seems to have died. Peter asked Jesus how often he must forgive his brother. The reply, “seventy times seven” (Mt. 18:21), suggests no limit. But one does not make a sacred vow to one’s brother. The human race was not founded upon brotherly love, but upon the one-flesh union of man and woman in marriage. How often, then, must we forgive the husband, the wife? Really forgive, really setting the sins aside? And if we do not forgive, if we divorce, if we shrug away the Cross, if we scandalize the little ones, how is that different from the self-satisfaction of the Pharisees, and those who, trusting in the law and their righteousness, cried to Pilate, “His blood be on us and on our children!” (Mt. 27:25)?

THERE IS FREE SPEECH AND THERE IS SPEECH THAT WILL COST YOU A LOT IF YOU LISTEN TO IT

Larry Flynt Was No Free Speech Hero

February 11, 2021

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on media coverage of the death of Larry Flynt:

The Associated Press, USA Today and the Los Angeles Times label porn king Larry Flynt a “free-speech champion.” Reuters, USNews and Yahoo remember him as a “free-speech activist.” They are wrong. Flynt, who died at 78, was no friend of free speech.
Freedom of speech, which is enshrined in the First Amendment, was never meant by the Founders to be an end in itself. It was meant to be a means to an end, the end being the good society. Without robust political speech, where different points of view could be weighed, the prospects of achieving life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness would be diminished. Flynt spent his entire life exploiting free speech, not exercising it.
Madison, who wrote the First Amendment, would not regard Flynt as a free speech hero. He wisely observed that “liberty may be endangered by the abuses of liberty as well as the abuses of power.” Flynt was a master of abusing liberty.
The prospects for the good society are not advanced when naked women are depicted upside down being shoved into a meat grinder. Flynt’s pride and joy, Hustler, opined, “Prime. Last All Meat Issue. Grade ‘A’ Pink.”
Hustler went beyond its porn competitors by offering the most dehumanizing photos imaginable, including botched abortions. The New York Times offers many examples.
Pictures of women being raped and tortured, being subjected to bestiality, nailed to a cross, bagged like a deer and bound to a luggage rack—these were all featured in Hustler. The editors knew what they were doing. Showing women crawling at the end of a leash sent an unmistakable message to sick men. To put on its cover a photo of a woman’s head in a gift box is not a demonstration of free speech; rather, it is an example of its perversion.
Flynt was not only the enemy of women—he was the enemy of children. Barely Legal is one of his porn sites that appeals to disturbed men. He even had a character, “Chester the Molester,” who regularly appeared in Hustler cartoons as a pedophile.
What is striking about all the pundits celebrating the free-speech heroics of Flynt is that it is occurring at the same time that his admirers are championing the cancel culture. What they want cancelled is not child pornography: They want to censor political speech, the very heart of the free speech provision in the First Amendment.
The New York Times ran a column this week by Nicholas Kristof titled, “Can We Put Fox News on Trial With Trump?” Similarly, it published a news story, “How Right-Wing Radio Stoked Anger Before the Capitol Riot.” No one beats Max Boot at the Washington Post. His article, “Sadly, Fox News Can’t Be Impeached,” is a clarion call for censorship.
Here’s the bottom line. According to the conventional wisdom, as outlined by today’s deep thinkers, a free society should not tolerate Rush Limbaugh but it should celebrate Larry Flynt. That is about as good a measure there is to prove how morally debased we have become.

BEWARE OF THIS CREEPY PECTORAL CROSS WORN ON THE CHEST OF A BISHOP

Barnhardt

Judica me, Deus, et discerne causam meam de gente non sancta.

Remember Antipope Bergoglio’s creepy pectoral Cross? Well, it’s EXACTLY the same Cross worn by the Satanist pedophile rapist, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin

Okay. Bernardin was the American satanist who was shot straight to the top of the American church and decided who was elevated to the episcopacy in the US from the late 1960s until his death in ARSH 1996.

Bernardin was the man depicted in the opening chapter of Malachi Martin’s “Windswept House” who co-presided with Bishop John Russell over the black Mass in South Carolina that was performed concurrently with a black Mass in the Pauline Chapel inside the Vatican to “enthrone satan” in the late 1950s. The child who was raped in the South Carolina black Mass, “Agnes”, corresponded with me in ARSH 2014 and confirmed that Bernardin co-presided over the South Carolina black Mass and raped her at the “consecration” equivalent. Agnes’ father was a satanist in South Carolina and provided her to the coven and was present when she was ritually raped.

Bernardin has been recruited by satanists out of the gay bar scene in Charleston when he was a pre-med undergrad at USC. The satanists placed him into seminary and saw to it that he shot straight to the top of the American church. Bernardin was made a bishop at age 38, and at age 40 was the head of the US bishops’ conference, a position of power which he retained until his death, and his coven of protégées still control to this day.

Bernardin was a key supporter of Saul Alinsky, and Bernardin paid for Barack Obama (Barry Soetoro) to be brought to Chicago and be trained in Alinskyism.

Read my piece from ARSH 2012, “The Bernardin-Alinsky-Obama Nexus” here.

Antipope Bergoglio has worn a creepy pectoral Cross with Christ (?) depicted with arms crossed since his elevation in Buenos Aires. On the left is Bergoglio before usurping the Petrine See, and on the right is after the usurpation, with a new silver version of the same Cross:

It is thought that this is actually a satanic icon, rooted in “Osiris”, and that the odd “dove” at the top is actually a goat head with horns, stylized so as to be claimed to be “a dove”. The face of the man looks like an evil death mask.

Not coincidentally, in December of ARSH 2019, a Pachamama worship ritual was performed at a televised Vatican “Christmas concert”, led by an Amazonian witch. These were the last days before the global putsch of the Covid political religion and the global interdict of the Catholic Church. This screen cap is literally of the Pachamama worship ritual inside the Paul VI hall inside the Vatican:

But here’s the new info, sent in by an eagle-eyed reader. This pectoral cross that Antipope Bergoglio wears is EXACTLY the same as that worn by the Satanist Cardinal Bernardin:

Interestingly, Wilton Gregory, the black sodomite hand-picked by the faggot Cardinal Donald Wuerl, himself a protégée of Uncle Ted McCarrick, to replace Wuerl in Washington DC, was Bernardin’s protégée (and assumed sodomy partner.) Here is a picture of the known satanist and child rapist Bernardin consecrating Wilton Gregory a Bishop at age 36, on Halloween ARSH 1983, and a picture of Gregory serving Bernardin’s Mass. You can see the edge of Bernardin’s pectoral Cross. Given Wilton Gregory’s flaming homosexuality and intimate connection with Bernardin, it is not at all unreasonable to suspect Wilton Gregory of being connected to Satanism. Which makes him just perfect to be the Cardinal Archbishop of Washington DC.

Is the End At Hand? June 6, 2006 — 06/06/06
Michael D. O’Brien interviewed by Valerie Schmalz, IgnatiusInsight magazine
The number 666 is believed by some interpreters of the New Testament Book of Revelation to be the Mark of the Beast, the sign of the Antichrist who will come near the end of the world to engage in the battle of the Apocalypse. American filmmakers and book publishers are never ones to let an opportunity to make money pass them by. The producers of the remake of The Omen are releasing the movie on June 6, 2006. At the same time as the fictional tale of a child born to be the Antichrist hits movie theaters, The Rapture, the final book in the fundamentalist potboiler Left Behind series by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye, is also set for release in bookstores on June 6th.

What about this whole End Times scenario? What does the Catholic Church believe? IgnatiusInsight interviewed author Michael O’Brien whose fictional work Father Elijah is built around the character of a priest who is a convert from Judaism. Father Elijah is sent by the pope and the cardinal secretary of state to penetrate the inner circles of the man they believe is the Antichrist and call him to repentance. The plot for O’Brien’s book came to him in one inspiring moment while he was praying in a parish church for the state of the world and the Church. O’Brien, who is first and foremost the married father of six children and a Christian painter, went on to write an entire series, published by Ignatius Press. He is known as a strong voice for the Church’s moral values in Canada and in the West. Most recently, O’Brien gave a talk about the Apocalypse and Christianity at St. Patrick’s basilica in Ottawa, Canada… …  IgnatiusInsight: How exactly did you come to write Father Elijah?

O’Brien: In the early 1990s, raising a large family in an anti-life society with very little income, I was often overwhelmed with a feeling of discouragement. My faith was very strong in Christ but I saw the power of anti-life and anti-Christ forces growing in my native land—what Pope Benedict XVI has now called “the dictatorship of moral relativism.” At the same time, I saw a grievous weakening of the particular church in the nation where I live, the Church in Canada, which is very much like some particular churches in Europe and in America. We were losing the ability to recognize truth, to live by truth and to resist the power of falsehood and death.

One day I was in my local parish church, praying about this. I was weeping in front of the crucifix and pleading with the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Begging him to bring us through this time. I was pleading with him to purify and strengthen the Church in my land. And in this state of deep grief and prayer, I was suddenly flooded with a very powerful supernatural peace, for me an unprecedented kind of peace, and at the same time there came into my mind a full-blown story. It was like watching a movie in my mind. It startled me because I had no thought of writing a novel. I did not think of myself as writer, I was a Christian painter, the father of a family and the editor of Catholic family magazine. However, there came a very strong knowledge that God wanted me to write this down. I was absolutely convinced it could not be published. Even so, over an eight month period I wrote it and then I just put it on a shelf and did not try to get it published. However, through an uncanny act of Providence, doors opened and I was asked to submit the manuscript. I refused because I thought it would be a waste of postage. So my eventual publisher, Ignatius Press, said just send us the manuscript, we’ll pay for postage. A couple of months later they sent me a contract and Father Elijah was published within the year.

That little act of obedience has borne tremendous fruit. I think over 40,000 copies of this novel have been sold and it has now been translated into four languages.

I realize in hindsight that my feeling of discouragement was part of the falsehood of the modern era, which can so easily infect Christians with a sense of futility
. How can we resist this monolith that seems to control and dominate every aspect of our lives in this secular age? This moral relativism that sucks the life out of the modern world? Well, we can indeed resist it. The New Evangelization is possible but it will demand of each of us a docility to the Holy Spirit and a willingness to risk everything for Christ even when it appears to be pure folly. We must remember that the darkness cannot overpower the light. Christ has won.

Raped USA: Violation of Chain of Custody Laws Across the US in 2020 Election unless Stopped Means we are in a Lawless Country despite Media Lies

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTV2gMxcKc6YjHmZ1wWcAhRhAjppDT1yJlG_Q&usqp=CAU

Was the United States super violated and raped by the media, Democrats and RINOs in the 2020 election?

Will the Supreme Court, now, allow the media, Democrats and RINOs to continue to rape and eventually murder our beloved country and its constitution?

If the United States Supreme Court doesn’t rule that the violation of chain of custody laws across the USA in the 2020 election were and are unconstitutional then we are living in a lawless and super violated country.

Gateway Pundit reported that “Democrats Were ONLY Able to ‘Win’ in 2020 By Breaking Chain of Custody Laws in EVERY SWING STATE“:

President Trump already trounced Joe Biden in Ohio, Florida, and Iowa — three states that ALWAYS go to the eventual presidential winner.

Then suddenly Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin announced they would not be announcing their winner that night. This was an unprecedented and coordinated move in US history.

Then many crimes occurred to swing the election to Biden, but perhaps the greatest crime was the lack of dual controls and chain of custody records that ensure a fair and free election.  At a high level, when ballots are transferred or changes are made in voting machines, these moves and changes should be done with two individuals present (dual control), one from each party, and the movements of ballots should be recorded.

So when states inserted drop boxes into the election, these changes first needed to be updated through the legislature, which they weren’t, and all movements from the time when the ballots were inserted into drop boxes needed to be recorded, which they weren’t.

Chain of Custody laws were violated across the United States to favor lawless Democrats.

Georgia

In Georgia the law requires that the chain of custody and the movement of all ballots be recorded.

But Democrat operatives, the Department of Justice and FBI disregarded these laws in Georiga.

Late at night on election night after the election officer in charge, Ralph Jones, sent all of the election observers and media home for the night, he instructed Democrat operatives to drag hidden ballot suitcases out from under the tables to be counted.

There was no chain of custody [and, also, in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, etc…]…

… Democrats were able to cheat behind closed doors, in the dead of the night and in dozens of counting centers in the 2020 election. Democrat operatives blocked access to GOP observers, and violated chain of custody laws across the country.

The media ignored these violations. They supported the lawlessness.

If Republicans ever want to win a national election they must enforce the chain of custody laws.

Until this happens Republicans do not stand a chance against their immoral and cheating opposition. [MUST READ: Democrats Were ONLY Able to ‘Win’ in 2020 By Breaking Chain of Custody Laws in EVERY SWING STATE”:https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/02/must-read-democrats-able-win-2020-breaking-chain-custody-laws-every-swing-state/]

“Opioid Overdose Death” Enabler “Biden Wants People To Die – And He Means It”

The Market Ticker said that Joe Biden “wants you die — and he means it — although he protected his own son”:

If you didn’t believe Biden was willing to kill people for political purposes, including with bull****, non-science mask orders and shutdowns in the energy industry, which as with Carter are designed to destroy jobs and lives (and which will ultimately double your electric bill, as Germany discovered) now we have this:

President Biden had promised during the campaign to abolish the licensing requirement, known as the “X-waiver,” which President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services moved to nix a week before he left office. After France eliminated a similar regulation, the number of patients receiving buprenorphine increased tenfold, and opioid overdose deaths dropped by 80% in four years. Yet to the astonishment of the medical community, the Biden administration abruptly reversed the change on Jan. 27, arguing it didn’t pass legal muster and the White House budget office hadn’t signed off.

What’s being discussed here is an enhanced licensing requirement for physicians to prescribe a particular drug for the treatment of opioid addiction.  Unlike prescribing opioids for pain, which just requires that you be an MD, to prescribe this you had to have a specific license and additional training.

We know this stuff works.  The manufacturers add naloxone to make abuse of it more-difficult.

80,000 Americans died of drug overdoses last year, most of them from opioids and most of those from street drugs laced with fentanyl which is very difficult for a junkie to detect and adjust their dose for without winding up dead.  Opioids produce a “coffin corner” effect in that they depress respiration and thus will eventually kill you by stopping you from breathing, while building tolerance means you need more and more to get “high.”  These two curves eventually intersect; to get around this long-time abusers frequently concoct “speedballs”, mixing meth with the opioids so as to counteract the respiratory depression (!!).  If a junkie winds up unable to get the meth at some point and uses the opiods anyway to try to quell their withdrawal symptoms they are very likely to OD and expire.

One of Trump’s actions was through E/O to remove the special waiver requirement that had been placed on this therapy which was flat-out insane in the first place.

Biden has now reversed Trump’s E/O and as a result put back in place the fact that only a tiny minority of doctors can prescribe this treatment and, what’s worse, in many areas there are no physicians with the waiver and thus anyone who happens to need in those areas is just plain ****ed.

This is your “President” folks — the one all you loving, caring people voted into office. [https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?singlepost=3623468]Francis Notes:

We are not children. We are adults, solely responsible for our own actions. Every human being is endowed with free will. Every person makes their own decisions in their life. They have sole dominion over their body and their actions. And they, and only they, are responsible for the consequences of those actions.

The Catcher in the Swamp

Objectivity is the Objective

February 10, 2021

On Monday, in Plains Township, Pennsylvania, James and Lisa Goy were clearing snow out of their driveway and dumping it into the yard of their neighbor, Jeffrey Spaide. When Mr. Spaide rightfully complained to the couple, they began screaming at him, calling him names, and hurling obscenities his way. The Goys were clearly in the wrong, and Mr. Spaide had reason to be very angry. He then walked into his house, grabbed a gun, and shot them both dead.
As infuriating as the Goy’s behavior had been, they did nothing to incite Mr. Spaide’s actions to kill them. In the end, Mr. Spaide had many choices on how to handle the situation, and he possessed full dominion over his actions. The Goy’s behavior and Mr. Spaide’s actions must remain separate. If every time someone did or said something that made us angry, we shot them, or punched them, or rioted, the county would be torn to shreds.
This week, we are going through another impeachment, this time claiming that Donald Trump incited the riot at the Capital on January 6. He did not incite anything. Trump offered to have the National Guard at the Capitol during his rally but was turned down by DC mayor Muriel Bowser. How could he be planning on inciting violence when he offered troops to stop violence? The breach of the Capital had been planned on social media for weeks. And Trump told the people at the rally to act “peacefully and patriotically,” two words that could never be charged to incite people to violence. In fact, if you listen to his entire speech, you will see that the people who rioted were not even listening to the meaning of his words because they acted contrary to the meaning of what he said.
But I have never understood the “incite a riot” charge anyway. Everybody is responsible for their own actions regardless of what others do or say. Others do not control us. Aside from threatening your or your loved ones’ lives, there is nothing anyone can say or do which could justify anyone to riot, act violently, or do something illegal.
The “incite a riot” prohibition stemmed from a 1919 Supreme Court decision in which Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote, “you cannot yell fire in a crowded theatre.” I guess he feared people would get trampled to death during an evacuation during a fire. But don’t all theatres have fire codes? Aren’t all public buildings required by law to have a sufficient number of means of egress to accommodate the maximum occupancy to exit in an emergency without being injured. And if an old lady gets trampled during an evacuation, isn’t the person trampling the old lady to save himself responsible for her death, and not the person alerting the fire?
In 1980, Mark David Chapman was carrying the novel, Catcher in the Rye when he shot and killed John Lennon. In the novel, the main character, Holden Caufield, speaks of killing people. He says, “I kill people in this hat.” The word “phony” is used over 30 times in the novel. Weeks before the shooting, Chapman had read an article about John Lennon in Esquire magazine, referring to Lennon as a “sellout” and a “phony.”Chapman would listen to Beatles songs while sitting nude in the dark, chanting, “John Lennon, I’m going to kill you, you phony bastard!”
Mark Chapman told NYPD Officer Stephen Spiro that he should read, The Catcher in the Rye to understand why he committed the murder.Chapman read portions of, The Catcher in the Rye in the open courtroom as his statement.
In 1981, after trying to assassinate President Reagan, John Hinkley said, “if you want my defense, read Catcher in the Rye.” Did the words written by J.D. Salinger incite for these violent acts? Should Salinger have been held criminally responsible for these crimes because he wrote a novel?
If words incite, and this “incitement” is responsible for the act, it takes the culpability away from the actor. It removes his free will and turns him into a puppet of the person inciting. If Donald Trump is responsible for the riot, then each rioter becomes innocent. Each rioter had a choice, either breach the Capital or not breach the Capital. They had the choice regardless of what was said in the speech.
Either the rioters understood right from wrong, or they didn’t. Either they had control over their decision-making faculties, or they didn’t. If they didn’t understand right from wrong and didn’t have control over their actions, why are they in jail? Why were they charged with crimes?
Over 200,000 people at the Capital that day didn’t riot, so 200,000 people heard Donald Trump’s speech and decided not to breach the Capital. Less than one-half of one percent of the people at the rally rioted.
Some people will argue that both parties are responsible. How does that work? Is this “the devil made me do it” defense? Really? No. You decided for yourself to commit a certain act. You have freedom of choice, and you used it unwisely.
This is like the rapist who blames his victim. ‘She wore a provocative dress, so I had no control over myself.’ Yes, you did have control over yourself. She played no role in you committing your crime.
Even if a person explicitly tells you to commit a crime, does that mean you have to do it? Does that mean his words bind you, and you’re no longer responsible for your actions?
In recent years, the political rhetoric in our country has become increasingly incendiary. Should all of the politicians who use such language be impeached as well?
President Barack Obama told his fellow Democrats, If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” and to “argue with neighbors, get in their face.”
Joe Biden once said he wanted to “take Trump behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”
Hilary Clinton said, “You cannot be civil with a party that wants to destroy what you stand for.”
Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, encouraged riots when she said, I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. And maybe there will be when people realize that this is a policy that they defend.” And later, she told her voters, you must be ready to throw a punch.”
Chuck Schumer threatened Supreme Court Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch when he told them after a vote on abortion, “You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You will not know what hit you.
Senator Corey Booker encouraged fellow Democrats to “go to the Hill today. Get up and, please, get up in the face of some congresspeople.”
Congresswoman Maxine Waters urged her supporters to “push back. Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out, and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.” She also said, “I will go and take-out Trump tonight.”
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez encouraged her constituency to “occupy every airport, occupy every border, every ICE office.”
During the BLM and Antifa riots, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley justified that violence by saying there “needs to be unrest in the streets.”
If words, in fact, “incite violence,” then how can we be so sure it was Donald Trump’s words that incited the Capital riot, and not the words of these politicians who have encouraged violence for years and legitimized the riots we witnessed all summer and fall. Maybe it was their words that incited the rioters to plan the Capital riot on social media for weeks?
On July 6, 2016, Barack Obama gave a speech to the entire country where he used questionable statistics to claim that systemic racism was in every police department throughout our country. On July 7, 2016, in Dallas, Texas, 12 police officers were gunned down, and a Black Lives Matter activist killed four. Less than 24 hours after Obama called all police departments racist, a black man killed four police officers. Did Obama’s words incite those killings? According to the standard apply to Trump, the answer would be yes. According to rational and reasonable people, the answer would be no. The man who shot those police officers was one hundred percent responsible for his crime.
Once again, the people in power believe that we Americans are incapable of hearing information and opinions and making decisions for ourselves. They view us as little children unable to control what we do. They see themselves as The Catcher in the Rye, protecting the children from the evils of the world and themselves. But we are not children. We are adults, solely responsible for our own actions. Every human being is endowed with free will. Every person makes their own decisions in their life. They have sole dominion over their body and their actions. And they, and only they, are responsible for the consequences of those actions.

If the United States Supreme Court doesn’t rule that the violation of chain of custody laws across the USA in the 2020 election were and are unconstitutional then we are living in a lawless and super violated country.

Raped USA: Violation of Chain of Custody Laws Across the US in 2020 Election unless Stopped Means we are in a Lawless Country despite Media Lies

Francis Notes:

– Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:

“[T]he Pope… WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.”
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

Saint Robert Bellarmine, also, said “the Pope heretic is not deposed ipso facto, but must be declared deposed by the Church.”

EVIDENCE MOUNTS THAT THE CAPITOL BREACH WAS PRE-PLANNED BY ANTIFA

“Evidence Mounts that Capitol Breach Was Pre-Planned, Eroding Incitement Allegation in Trump Impeachment Trial”

The Epoch Times Reported “Evidence Mounts that Capitol Breach Was Pre-Planned, Eroding Incitement Allegation in Trump Impeachment Trial”:

As former President Donald Trump’s Tuesday impeachment trial approaches, there is a growing body of evidence in criminal complaints and affidavits that the Jan. 6 Capitol breach had been pre-planned, undercutting the allegation leveled against Trump that he is guilty of “incitement to insurrection.”

A number of FBI affidavits filed in support of various charges—including conspiracy—against accused participants in the Capitol breach show evidence of pre-planning, reinforcing an argument made by critics of the impeachment trial against Trump, namely that participants couldn’t have been incited by the president to break into the building if they had earlier planned to do so.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said recently that parts of the Capitol incident had been coordinated well before Trump’s Jan. 6 speech. [https://www.theepochtimes.com/evidence-mounts-that-capitol-breach-was-pre-planned-eroding-incitement-allegation-in-trump-impeachment-trial_3689106.html]Francis Notes:
