IS TEXAS ABOUT TO REPLACE TED CRUZ WITH ANOTHER CINO* THE SENATE ALREADY HAS TOO MANY CINO’S ???????

Rene!

Take a look at three of the headlines that hit my inbox after our grassroots campaign broke a new fundraising record and outraised Ted Cruz…for the fifth time:

Dallas Morning News

Beto O’Rourke’s torrid fundraising leaves Ted Cruz in the dust, with another $10 million in last 3 months

El Paso Times

Beto O’Rourke raises record $10.4 million against Ted Cruz in Texas’ Senate race

Houston Chronicle

Beto O’Rourke hauls in $10.4 million, more than double total for incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz

Clicking through headlines like these gets me so fired up. This movement of people — not PACs, or special interests, or corporations, or lobbyists — is proving we can not just compete with Ted Cruz but we can do it in the right way. I’ve never seen a campaign do what we’re doing.

Our campaign raised $10.4 million from 215,714 individual contributions, all from people just like you. The power of this movement is staggering. But I can guarantee you that Cruz’s super PACs and special interests are reading these headlines too. And they’re going to do anything they have to in order to stop our incredible momentum.

Can you chip in $3 right now to help us capture today’s energy and continue closing Cruz’s single-digit lead in the polls? We’ve got less than four months left if we want to pull this off.

I’ve sat shotgun as Beto has crisscrossed the state and visited all 254 counties of Texas so he could meet with his fellow Texans. So he could listen, learn, and make their fight his fight. There has never been a community too red or too blue for Beto to show up. There has never been a concern too small or too big for him to champion. That’s how he is building a campaign that answers to you — real people, not PACs or special interests.

And it’s working. Every single person who has shown up to a town hall to ask tough questions, who’s knocked on doors or made phone calls, who’s chipped in what they can to keep gas in the tank of our Dodge Grand Caravan and keep Beto on the road has made a difference. A really big difference. It’s no wonder outlets across the state are taking notice of what you’re making possible in Texas.

But we’ve got a long road ahead, and a lot of work left to do. These headlines are proof of what can happen when we all come together and do our part. When we give it everything we’ve got because everything we care about is on the line. Don’t let the special interests stop our momentum at a time we need it the most. Pitch in $3 right now to show you’ve got Beto’s back in this fight >>

Thanks for all you do!!

Talk soon,

Chris Evans

P.S. I can’t help but share one last headline. Beto O’Rourke Raises $10.4 million in second quarter of 2018, again outpacing Ted Cruz by wide margin(Texas Tribune)

Video Surfaces: Beto O’Rourke Attacks Catholic Church

Candidate for U.S. Senate, Congressman Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) is seen on video disparaging the Catholic Church during his time as an El Paso City Councilman in 2011.

The video begins with O’Rourke demeaning a Catholic Priest about the “moral failings of the church you represent, especially as you try to take the moral high-ground in this debate”.

The debate began over a council vote on same-sex marriage benefits which Father Rodriguez urged them to vote down in accordance with traditional teachings.

O’Rourke says, “Luckily, I don’t need your approval to move forward. I want to know why this, for you, has become the burning issue of the day… I can think of two obvious cases where the church has failed on a global level.”

He continues by alleging that the Pope went to Africa and discouraged people from using condoms before revisiting child-abuse allegations.

A member of the community, Rachel Quintana courageously came to the priest’s defense at the next meeting, saying:

“I am here not to chastize you for your obvious lack of civility and decorum nor address your permissiveness in allowing certain councilmen to personalize their attacks on certain speakers at this podium… Mr. O’Rourke, you stated at last week’s public hearings that you want to be remembered for decades for the decisions you made at city council. You will be remembered sir, for many things. Last week, you wrongfully and disrespectfully attacked Father Michael Rodriguez and the moral failings of the Catholic Church…”

Before finishing, the speaker is interrupted by Mayor John Cook:

“Thank you, your time is over. If you can’t remove yourself from the podium, I’ll have you removed.”

She is assumed to have verbalized her disagreement to which the Mayor responded:

“Right, well, you can take your freedom of speech outside.”

This blast from the past calls into question whether Beto O’Rourke is fit to serve Texas and its largest religious body of nearly 5 million Catholic Texans in the US Senate. He will face off against Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the November General Election.

Subject: Satanism and the Eucharist: A MUST READ!!!!

Satanism & the Eucharist

Andrew Trapp, Catholic seminarian  4/24/2004 (Now serving as a priest)

During my parish work last summer in France, one of my responsibilities was participating in a weekly prayer group for young adults who had fallen away from the Church. The last meeting of the summer, one of the guys made a surprising revelation to us all: before his conversion, he had been a full-fledged Satanist. This reflection is the true story of that conversion and what I learned from it.

“One of the most chilling moments in The Passion was during the Lord’s scourging, when Satan appears cradling a baby who slowly turns to reveal a hideous face. Here Satan is mocking Jesus and Mary by presenting himself as a twisted sort of “anti” Madonna and Child, as if to proclaim that he and his offspring have won, and not the woman and her offspring as foretold in Genesis 3:15. This is how the Evil One loves to work—Satan loves to mock God by imitating the holy and twisting it in a sick way. This past summer I was struck with this truth in a totally new way.

Nicolas had been a part of the prayer group all year long, but this was the first time that he had talked about his life before his conversion. He told us about how he became involved in Satanism while in his late teens. It enslaved him, bringing despair and utter loneliness to his life, to the point where he was tormented with thoughts of suicide. He felt trapped and helpless in its grasp. It was only through the constant prayers of his mother that he was finally freed from this slavery a couple of years ago, and he began to give his life back to Christ.

I had never met anyone like Nicolas, openly admitting a past involvement in Satanism. After the initial shock, I bombarded him with three questions, one after another. First, how did they ‘worship’ Satan? I had always heard that it was not anything like worshiping an image of Satan or singing hymns, but by having a so-called “Black Mass.” In other words, their entire service is a mockery of the Catholic Mass. Was this true, I asked him? Not a Protestant preaching service, not a Buddhist temple ritual, but an explicit mockery of our Mass? “Yes,” Nicolas told us, “that is true.”

I had also heard, I continued, that Satanists steal consecrated communion bread from their local Catholic churches which they desecrate at these black services. For example, I have heard of Catholic parishes where this is such a problem that the pastor is forced to post special attendants during Holy Communion who watch to make sure that no one receives the Eucharist and walks away without consuming the host. The Satanists take these consecrated hosts to their services—these wafers of “bread” that Catholics believe have been miraculously transformed by the Holy Spirit into the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ—and desecrate them with spit, bodily waste, and other such unimaginable blasphemies. Before your conversion, I asked Nicolas, did you and your fellow Satanists steal consecrated hosts for this purpose? “Yes,” Nicolas answered, “we did.”

The poor guy probably felt like he was being interrogated by the CIA by this point, but knowing that I might never have this opportunity again, I asked Nicolas one final question. I told him that I had also heard that those who were very deep in Satanism could actually tell whether a communion host had been consecrated or not. For example, they will not steal communion bread from Protestant communion meals, nor will they steal unblessed communion bread for desecration at these “Black Masses.” It would not work because some of the Satanists would immediately recognize that it was just ordinary bread. They would be able to tell that Jesus Christ was not sacramentally present there.

I asked Nicolas whether this also was true. He again replied that it is, and he told us that he could do this himself before his conversion from Satanism. A chill went down my spine. If someone were to put ten identical communion hosts in front of him, nine  unconsecrated and one consecrated, he would have been able to point directly and immediately to the host that had been consecrated. I asked him in amazement, “But how were you able to know?!?” He looked at me and the words he spoke are forever burned in my memory: “Because of the hate,” he said. “Because of the burning hate I would feel toward that host, apart from all the others.”

His words hit me like a baseball bat. Some of the saints also had this mystical knowledge of the Lord’s Eucharistic presence, but this knowledge flowed from their deep union with Christ. Nicolas, on the other hand, knew Christ’s presence because his worship of Satan had worked the opposite mystical connection to the Eucharist—he knew Jesus was there not because of his love for Jesus, but because of his deep hateIt makes my skin crawl just to think about such hatred.

This is how Satan operates. He loves to mock whatever is holy and sacred, to imitate the truth and twist it in a perverse way. The Mass is the most sacred prayer on earth, the most awesome way for us Christians to offer worship to our Lord, so Satan has his followers worship him through a mockery of that prayer. Instead of lifting the Eucharist high with adoration and loving reverence, the Eucharist is thrown to the ground with loathing and derision. Rather than knowing Christ’s true presence in the sacrament through their love, they perversely recognize Christ’s presence through their hatred.

Let’s not pretend otherwise—it is scary to hear a story like Nicolas’. It is terrifying to realize that such evil exists in this world. But more than frighten us, his testimony should give us hope, comfort, and strength. Satan does exist and he is powerful, but Jesus Christ is infinitely more powerful. Even the most wicked sinner can be brought back to the love of the Lord, through Christ’s grace and through the prayers of believers (like Nicolas’ mother!) If Satan so despises the Mass, then we should be moved to even greater devotion, preparation, and participation in Mass. If Satan so despises the Lord’s true presence in the Eucharist, then our hearts should burn with even greater love and thirst for worthily receiving Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Lord, I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof,

but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.”

The Gall of the St. Gallen Mafia

Written by

  • THE REMNANT

“Never let anyone know what you are thinking.”
~Mario Puzo, The Godfather

Darkness descended onto Piazza di San Pietro into the evening hours of March 13, 2013, as the successor to the resigned Benedict XVI, was introduced to the Cat holic Church.

Invited onto the balcony, a mere arm’s length from the new Pontiff, Cardinal Godfried Danneels surveyed the massive crowd during the announcement of the papal election of Jorge Bergoglio. There, on the Loggia of St. Peter’s, he stood, sending a message with his smug triumphant gaze.

Rewarded for his unstinting loyalty and ecclesial political prowess, he stands prominently with the Pontiff, as an acknowledgement from his peers that Danneels’ handpicked choice is finally elevated to the Chair of St. Peter.

Decked out in his ceremonial scarlet, Belgian Cardinal Danneels proudly stood as the victorious mastermind behind the clandestine St. Gallen group of European prelates who plotted since 1996 to elect a radical reformer pope. Early on, the St. Gallen group identified their prime papal contender as Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina, confident that he would radically transform and modernize the Catholic Church in their image and likeness. They kept their scheme and racket carefully under wraps.

They nearly won the turf war in 2005 when John Paul II died. The St. Gallen group scrambled for their opportunity to install their man, yet fell short. Their papal politicking tallied a second place papal ballot finish for Bergoglio, but ultimately he lost out to the conservative Car dinal Ratzinger. Media reports state that the St. Gallen group never met after 2006. Perhaps, they never met again in St. Gallen, or possibly they changed their name and met elsewhere.

Frustration was building. They were running out of precious time, as the St. Gallen group aged and, more importantly, Jorge Bergoglio was rapidly growing too old for papabile. The dream of modernizing the Church was slipping through their ecclesial fingers. Worst of all, a relatively healthy Benedict occupied the Chair of Peter as an impenetrable impediment to their plans.

Apart from the devil, there is no more unforgiving enemy, than random Father Time.

The clock was ticking. Without divine intervention, Benedict appeared firmly ensconced in the Seat of Peter. The St. Gallen Prelates couldn’t wait another 3 or 4 years for his earthly demise. Besides Cardinal Bergoglio was already 76, and soon, he would be too old to be elected Pope.

Then, the unthinkable happened. Lightening struck St. Peter’s.
kapow
“You can’t hide the thunderbolt. When it hits you, everybody can see it.  Man, don’t be ashamed of it, some men pray for the thunderbolt. You’re a very lucky fellow.”  ~Mario Puzo,The Godfather

Lightning struck, when Pope Benedict, the man who had stood in the way of Bergoglio’s papal fortunes, abdicated the throne of Peter. With a crack of thunder out of the dark blue sky, the long-awaited plans of St. Gallen would enfold behind the conclave curtain.

Danneels and his St. Gallen co-conspirators quickly and skillfully engineered the election of their designated pope-in-waiting, the Cardinal of Buenos Aires. Bergoglio was elected Pope by the College of Cardinals, and the rest, is heresy.

Having successfully engineered their papal takeover, Cardinal Danneels couldn’t contain his bravado. The pompous prelate needed public credit for his masterful plot. At the release of his biography, the Belgian Cardinal broke the cardinal (‘scuse the pun) rule of Omertà, the strict code of silence, by proudly bragging that the St. Gallen group anointed Bergoglio.   Daneels laughingly disclosed at the book press conference that the St. Gallen group was dubiously christened by the group as the “mafia.”

For nearly 2 decades, this secret cabal schemed and plotted to install Jorge Bergolio of Buenos Aires as the 266th pontiff to drastically reform the Catholic Church.

Godfried, the Godfather sought acclaim for the Bergoglio election, thus demonstrating the famous line of the Godfather, “vanity is my favorite sin.”

What does it say about the papal selection of Bergoglio that one of his chief promoters characterizes the papal plotters as mafia?

What kind of man, a Prince of the Church, no less, flippantly brags about being a member of the St. Gallen group which he describes as the ‘mafia’?

What kind of man, a Cardinal, proudly proclaims that he and his clandestine group of prelates named themselves after the violent criminal organization that kills for money and power, terrorizes and blackmails ordinary citizens, and dominates with murderous savagery and intimidation?

What kind of papabile surrounds himself with supporters who boast that they are the mafia?

What manner of high Church officials call themselves the mafia, after the criminal organization that strong arms the weak, silences the vocal, and flexes political muscle with intimidation?

It’s not the first time that Danneels, the Bergoglio kingmaker and St. Gallen Don, tried to silence a victim. In 2010, he attempted to cover up years of sex abuse involving his close friend and fellow bishop. Worse yet, the child abuser was the victim’s uncle, Roger Vangheluwe, Bishop of Bruges, Belgium. In the meeting with the victim, the intimidating Cardinal Danneels directed the abuse victim to remain silent about the abuse and “ask for forgiveness” and to “acknowledge your own guilt.”

Danneels got caught covering up this clergy sex scandal when the victim secretly recorded the conversation (a successful government tactic often used against the mafia). Over the years, Danneels honed his intimidation skills to silencing victims and covering up clergy abuse. Yet the powerful Cardinal suffered no consequences and continued to plot and scheme for the election of Jorge Bergoglio as Pope.

This man fears no one and is not constrained by Church doctrine, biblical teaching or the Magisterium, all of which he swore to uphold in his episcopal vows. Despite that solemn vow, Danneels encouraged the Belgian King to sign an abortion law and supported a gay marriage amendment in Belgium. Yet, despite Danneels’ public scandals, Francis chooses him as his personal representative to the Synod on the Family!

Loyalty is the most prized virtue in the Mafia, “Loyalty is everything, Loyalty is royalty,” apparently, also among the Princes of the Church.

Others of the St. Gallen members have been rewarded for their loyalty to Jorge Bergoglio: in particular, German Cardinal Walter Kasper who serves as powerful doctrinal capo in the Francis papacy.

The haunting question still lingers: what caused Pope Benedict to abdicate?

Did the St. Gallen Mafia put heat on Ratzinger to step down?

Did the Mafia Monsignors make Benedict an offer he couldn’t refuse?

Did the St. Gallen Mafia strong arm Benedict?

Did they blackmail Benedict?

Pope Francis remains in the Seat of Peter, as the hand picked choice of the St. Gallen Mafia.

In every mafia, there lurks a mole, a man with a nagging conscience.

Someone knows what happened the night that lightening struck St. Peter’s.

Be not afraid to speak.

When Abortion Becomes a Sacrament

When Abortion Becomes a Sacrament

This week, amid widespread Democratic tumult regarding the selection of a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, alleged comedian Michelle Wolf paid tribute to the most important facet of American life: abortion. On her Netflix show on Sunday, Wolf dressed up in red, white and blue, and shrieked into the camera, “God bless abortions, and God bless America!” She explained: “Women, if you need an abortion, get one! If you want an abortion, get one! … And women, don’t forget: You have the power to give life and men will try to control that. Don’t let them!”

Along with that inane outburst, she justified abortion itself. “Look,” she stated, “access to abortion is good and important. Some people say abortion is killing a baby. It’s not. It’s stopping a baby from happening.”

Well, some people say Michelle Wolf is killing comedy. She’s not. She’s stopping comedy from happening.

But more importantly, a ground shift has taken place in how Democrats think about abortion. Back in 2005, I wrote that the Democratic “safe, legal and rare” formulation regarding abortion was logically and morally untenable: If Democrats wanted abortion to be rare thanks to its inherent immorality, there was no reason for it to be legal. Democrats have finally come around: They’re now “shouting” their abortions, proclaiming them from the rooftops, suggesting that there is a moral good achieved by abortion.

Thus, Lena Dunham said just two years ago, “I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had.” Thus, Chelsea Handler, who has had two abortions, explained in the pages of Playboy, “I don’t ever look back and think, ‘God, I wish I’d had that baby.'” Her article was accompanied by a picture of a woman’s hand with a raised middle finger with a pink bow around it; attached to the bow is a small card that reads, “It’s an abortion!”

Yes, abortion is now a signifier that you refuse to be ruled by the patriarchy. Avoidance of pregnancy may be a wise life choice, according to third-wave feminists, preventing women from being sucked into the grinding maw of maternal life. But abortion is something even better: a signal that you just don’t care about the system. The system demands that if you’re pregnant with a child, you make your own concerns secondary; the system must be fought.

Gloria Steinem once remarked, “If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.” But modern-day feminists have determined that abortion isa sacrament specifically because women can get pregnant: Showing that control over your body even extends to the killing of your unborn child is a way of standing up against patriarchal concerns with women as the source of future generations.

For Michelle Wolf, abortion isn’t just another decision. It’s a giant middle finger to the moral establishment. And those who would fight abortion are desacralizing the mysterious holiness of a ritual that reinforces women’s control. No wonder Wolf thinks God blesses abortion; abortion is her god.

{Is abortion a sacrament?  Not in the mind of the editors of the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, to them it is a theological term which means: A visible form of invisible grace.  In the traditional use of the Catholic Church a sacrament is a visible sign instituted either by God (e.g. baptism) or by the Church (e.g. Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick) which both signifies and contains sanctifying grace which enables a person to share in the divine life of God.

If a supporter of abortion calls it a sacrament then perhaps it is possible to understand the possibly that it is a sacrament of the of Satan since it involves the mortal sin of killing innocent human life thereby preventing the unborn child from growing up as a child of God. The eternal spiritual death of humans is Satan’s principal goal and is accomplished with regard to the woman, the abortionist and all who are involved in procuring each abortion. The aborted child returns to God its creator, but the adults involved in its death go to Hell, i.e. eternal separation from God.  So a satanic sacrament produces a result that is exactly the opposite of a Christian sacrament.

What is Hell?  It is not a place.  It is a state of being.  At the final judgement the condemned soul seeing the perfection, beauty and justice of Jesus Christ burns with desire to be with Him for all eternity, but it is that insatiable desire for union with Christ that will burn for all eternity in the soul of the condemned.  Not all the best efforts preachers, homilists and painters can convey adequately the horror of that fire of desire which the condemned in Hell experience.  All analogies fail to convey the horror, so it is with some reluctance that I offer this analogy:  a man dying of thirst in a desert ‘sees’ in his hallucination the cool water flowing from a spring which is always just beyond his reach, the flaw in that analogy is that of course the man will die of his thirst, but the condemned in Hell will forever thirst for the living water that is Jesus Christ.}

Francis the Merciful and his whisperer, Cardinal Walter Kasper, promoted “cunning” rather than the much-cited “distinction.” There is cunning in Amoris laetitia and the mind behind it. The state of confusion is obvious. It is claimed that the confusion is only supposed, and only the result of a new style of government. But can the confusion and disagreement between bishops on tricky points of faith be fruits of the Holy Spirit? Not in the opinion of many solid theologians.

Benedictine Professor: Why Are Almost All of the Cardinals and Bishops Silent?

Current issue of “Catholica“. Why are almost all cardinals and bishops silent about the end of Catholicism that Pope Francis brings about? The “other understanding of the Church” behind Amoris laetitia.

(Paris) The international magazine for culture, politics and religion, Catholica, which has been published in France for 30 years, counts “well-known authors such as Émile Poulat, Robert Spaemann, Ernst Wolfgang Böckenförde, Vladimir Bukowski, Stanislaw Grygiel, Thierry Wolton and Jacques Ellul and Pietro De Marco,” says Vatican writer Sandro Magister. The editor-in-chief is Bernard Dumont.

Bernard Dumont

In its latest issue, Dumont, whose editorial is also freely available on the Internet, deals with the “unbelievable” silence of almost all cardinals and bishops – with the exception of the four signatories of Dubia – “the dissolution of the traditional form of catholicity by the pontificate of Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been set in motion.”Bernard Dumont discusses the apparently desired end of “Roman Catholicism” without, however, raising an outcry, as the historian Roberto Pertici once complained. The end is proclaimed by Rome or those who invoke Rome, and all are silent and seem to submit to the inevitable fate. See the analysis of Prof. Pertici: The reform of Pope Francis was already written by Martin Luther .

Why is this?

The belief reduced to ethics

Dumont also published in the new edition the text of a Benedictine monk and theologian who analyzes and criticizes “perhaps the most radical upheaval in Catholicism of our time.”No longer does the sacrament have primacy in the Church, of which the Second Vatican Council said it was the “culmen et fons” of the life of the Church, but ethics.

This subversion is also reflected in the question of remarried divorced as well as the inter-communion with the Protestants.

The Benedictine theologian is Fr. Giulio Meiattini, who this year already published the monograph  “Amoris laetitia? The Sacraments Reduced to Morality” (publisher La Fontana di Siloe, Turin 2018). He is a monk of the Benedictine Abbey of Madonna della Scala in Noci and Professor of Fundamental Theology at the Theological Faculty of Apulia and at the Pontifical Athenaeum Sant’Anselmo in Rome.

Meiattini accuses Pope Francis and his whisperer, Cardinal Walter Kasper, of promoting “cunning” rather than the much-cited “distinction.” There is cunning in Amoris laetitia and the mind behind it.

“The state of confusion is obvious”.

With these words the theologian and monk begins his essay. It is claimed that the confusion is only supposed, and only the result of a new style of government. Such a picture of the current situation is not something Fr. Meiattini takes pleasure in.

“Can the confusion and disagreement between bishops on tricky points of faith be fruits of the Holy Spirit? Not in my opinion.”

Several small steps mean a large one in sum

P. Giulio Meiattini OSB

Then Meiattini indicates that in the matter of remarried divorced people a ready-made plan was pursued from the beginning. With the opportunity of being able to deliver the only speech in February 2014 to the Cardinals’ Consistory procured by Pope Francis, Cardinal Kasper “laid the groundwork”. Nevertheless, two bishops’ synods failed to produce a common line to the problem being discussed. Anyone reading the reports of the “circuli minores” of the 2015 Synod can easily see that there was no common position.

The pope would have had to examine and understand, which would have been the first task of “distinction”, “which processes” would be initiated and pursued, and which not. However, such a distinction did not take place. The path taken was not changed.

The fact is that a large majority of the Synod Fathers wanted “no change in the traditional order”. The editorial committee of Relatio finalis therefore took care not to include any innovations in the text.
For this reason, a “small step,” according to Meiattini, was undertaken instead of a big one: The editorial committee formulated some undefined positions, which meant a “change of atmosphere”.

The non-rejection of these ponderous formulations, which received the necessary two-thirds majority only with extreme difficulty, sufficed that the next “small step,” with some ambiguous footnotes in Amoris laetitia, were sufficient to indicate a new direction.

These small steps, which, strictly speaking, did not reinforce the traditional position, were enough to split the episcopate. The next step was papal confirmation of the guidelines of the ecclesiastical Province of Buenos Aires on the Eighth Chapter of Amoris laetitia.

In reality, these guidelines are not mere interpretations, because they contain statements and instructions that were neither found in Amoris laetitia nor adopted by the synods, and never found a majority there.

Through a series of “small steps”, a “big step” was finally taken within three years, with a profound intervention. But this has nothing to do with “synodality,” according to Meiattini.
Faith would be reduced to ethics in Amoris laetitia , that is the total thrust.

“Ethics has neither the first nor the last word.”

“I do not understand how the Bishop of Rome can write such a thing”

And Meiattini continues:

“To be honest, I can not understand how a bishop, especially that of Rome, can write such sentences: ‘One should not burden two limited people with the tremendous burden of perfectly recreating the union that exists between Christ and his Church ‘(AS, 122).”

This formulation is an expression of a very different way of thinking: A gospel ethic, freed from the sacrament, becomes a “mighty burden” rather than a “sweet yoke” and a “light burden.”

Such a statement can only be reached if one understands Christianity – perhaps unconsciously – only as ethics. In this way we arrive at results that correspond to the Lutheran concept of simul iustus et peccator, condemned by the Council of Trent.

Intercommunion with the Protestants follows the same logic. What is only decisive is the presumed, inner feeling. For the objective criteria, all conceivable attenuating circumstances are taken into account, and the subjective decision of conscience is decisive. Why, then, according to this pattern, should not even a Buddhist or a Hindu be able to receive the Catholic Eucharist, according to P. Meiattani?

“Damaging the relationship between morality and sacraments can ultimately lead to a non-Catholic understanding of the Church.”

Priests and Prelates, Perverts & Predators – What Is a Faithful Catholic To Do?

http://the-american-catholic.com/2018/07/11/priests-and-prelates-perverts-predators-what-is-a-faithful-catholic-to-do/

A plethora of priestly pedophiles, perverts, and pederasts, are and, for decades, have been attacking, raping, and abusing their victims. Priests, bishops, and cardinals have been hiding their wickedness and their demonic actions from those in the pews, while their enabler bishops and cardinals have shuttled them around the country, and around the world; knowing what they had done and that in many cases, almost certainly, with their new prelate-provided cover, they would do it again, and again, and again.

Bishops, archbishops and cardinals, both those guilty of these abuses and those covering up for them, have stolen billions of dollars from the faithful to pay off the victims, who were and are overwhelmingly boys and young men. In the United States alone over four billion dollars have been paid. Their clerical poison has permeated not only parishes and dioceses – by one estimate each and every diocese around the world –  but also the papal palace itself.

Now it is expected – based on previously proclaimed and published heresies  – that these same wolves and hirelings are going to welcome a new would-be pseudo-magisterial teaching that those voluntarily engaging in loving homosexual actions, although they do not achieve the perfect ideals of love and of marriage, have a smidgeon of the ideals, enough to make what they do acts of virtue; that, eventually, gradually, they will achieve the ideals.

The perverse attempt at new dogma will go on to say that, for those who freely choose to engage in loving homosexual actions, their voluntarily doing so is the will of God Almighty; that the voice of their consciences, telling them “this is not just OK, but virtuous” is the voice of God for them. Never mind that the voice of God for millions of others is directly contradicting this voice that they hear.

All the faithful will be required to publicly welcome them and integrate them into the ongoing life of their parish communities, with all the public adulterers already receiving Holy Communion. And those priests and bishops, known to actively and regularly engage in these actions, will smirk, smile and parade (with pride),  their sins each time they walk, or dance, to an altar.

What is a faithful catholic to do?

Suppose you do not have your own radio talk show. You do not have a regularly syndicated newspaper column or your own internet blog site. You do not write books or articles and you are not a very good public speaker. In the face of all this monstrous priestly perversion and pervasive prelatel evil, what can you do?

Those here on God’s good earth for some decades more than half a century will recall a TV show called “The Christophers,” whose theme song included these words:

“If everyone lit just one little candle, what a bright world this would be.”

Each faithful catholic can light such a “candle” that cannot be extinguished, not by demons and not by the wicked priests, not by the evil bishops. That candle is a single act of goodness, an act of virtue, a freely chosen act that brings into the world a good that was not there before.

The first principle of the natural law has often been translated from the original Latin as “Do good, avoid evil.” The Latin verb translated as “do” is the verb “facere,” which can also be translated as “make.” No human being can create in the way God creates from nothing; but each human being can freely choose to do good human actions and, in doing so, can “make” good. (for further discussion, see https://abyssum.org/2015/09/07/is-it-better-to-make-good-than-to-do-good-the-answer-is-yes/)

God makes each person in the divine image and likeness, giving each person free will to choose to “make good and avoid evil.”  God also made each person unique (see, e.g. my article “Each Person Is a Divine Revelation, Catholic Lane,” http://www.catholiclane.com/each-person-is-a-divine-revelation/). This means that there is good that each person can “make” that no other person can make.

Such good, once made, such an action once done, cannot be un-made or undone. In a sense, such good will be forever. All the powers of evil, demonic and human, within the Church today cannot destroy such a good, once made by a free person. Each such good made by a faithful catholic in today’s world will shine like that “one little candle.”

One such act  “makes” good, a small good, but still unique, a good that can bring God back to earth as did the Last Christian in Myles Connolly’s Mr. Blue:

“On top of that black tower of the devil in the kingdom of the Anti-Christ,” said Blue, “after all those centuries of extermination, there stood a priest in amice and alb, maniple, chasuble, girdle and stole, heir in a noble line of Christ’s servants, clad in their symbols of chastity, charity, honor and faith. The figure of Christ’s cross lay on his back. The anointment of Christ was on his soul. Before him was his altar, his case topped with altar stone and missal and chalice. On it lay the corporal with the wafer he had made from the wheat he had grown. By it stood the two cruets of water and wine. He waited until first there was a streak of light across the east. Then he bowed down before his altar. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus sancti. Amen. The Mass had begun. He was keeping his promise to bring God back to earth.”

. . . .

“The last Christian,” said Blue fervidly, “was a priest. Can you see that heroic figure in the twilight of the world saying Mass in the citadel of the Anti-Christ?

. . . .

“It was magnificent,” exclaimed Blue as if he were telling of something he saw. “And the while he is making the sign of the cross over the wafer of bread, the powers of the Anti¬-Christ are gathering. He has been seen.

. . . .

“Veni sanctificator omnipotens, aeternae Deus. ‘Come Thou Who makest holy, almighty and eternal God…’ He is beseeching the blessing of the Holy Ghost.”

    The Mass goes on.

“The Master of the IGW has summoned the marshal of his soldiers. ‘Stop the Mass immediately!’ he commands.

“The marshal reports that planes are speeding to the tower.

 . . . .

“The Master is furious. ‘Bomb the tower. Destroy it.  Demolish it. But stop the Mass!…’

“His face was black,” said Blue. “From his own tower he could see the silhouetted figure bending over his small altar. He tears his flesh in his rage.

“Two, three, four planes are circling above the tower. One drops a huge shell . . . Another bomb falls. Another misses. …

“But now the priest bows low over his altar. Qui pridie quam pateretur… He begins the words of the consecration, the words that shall change the bread and wine of his altar into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.  “He approaches Christ’s own words at the Last Supper. “One plane is now low over the roof of the tower, so low that the crew can make out the figure of the Cross on the priest’s chasuble. A bomb is made ready. . .

“And now the priest comes to the words that shall bring Christ to earth again. His head almost touches his altar: Hoc est enim corpus meum…

Blue was whispering. I think he was shivering.

“The bomb did not drop. No. No. There was a moment of awful silence. Then, a burst of light beside which day itself is dusk. Then, a trumpet peal, a single trumpet peal that shook the universe. Then, the sun blew up like a bubble. The stars and planets vanished like sparks. The earth burst asunder…And through this unspeakably luminous new day, through the vault of the sky ribbed with lightning came Christ as He had come after the Resurrection. It was the end of the world!”

Blue’s last words were just barely audible.

“The Kingdom of the Anti-Christ disappeared like ashes in a whirlwind. And hastening up out of their tombs and resting places came the souls of the just, happy, hearty, wholesome, to greet their king.”

Blue paused. Then he added: “Father White who had been No. 2,757,311 found himself a hero even in heaven.”

A single act of goodness can be this “burst of light,” and can initiate this shaking of the universe.

George Orwell spent his professional life crusading against totalitarianism in all its forms, but he never dreamed that Jesus’s Church would be infested with the worst sort of totalitarians. His last sentence of Animal Farm about how the pigs could no longer be distinguished from the farmers can be paraphrased today:

The faithful outside looked from priest to pedophile, from pedophile to bishop, from bishop to pederast, from pederast to archbishop, from archbishop to pervert, and then from pervert to cardinal; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I LOVE CHICKENS, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE

I have raised chickens; it was a special joy to do so on my little ranch after I retired as Bishop of Corpus Christi.  I never had one as talented at this one, but I wish that I had.

Father Gerard Manley Hopkins wrote,

“Glory be to God for dappled things –

For skis of couple-color as a brined cow;

For rose-moles all in staple upon trout that swim;

Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings;

Landscape plotted and pieced -fold, fallow , and plow;

And all trades, their gear and tackle  and trim.

All things counter, original, spare, strange;

Whatever is fickle, freckled (who knows how?)

With swift, slow; sweet, sour; adazzle, dim;

He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change:

Praise Him.

The Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development has announced that it has become “plastic-free” as a way of giving good example to everyone. But what really is underway is to make the world free of Jesus Christ and his institutional Church

In presenting the Vatican Conference held July 5-6 to mark the third anniversary of Laudato Si, the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development announced that it has become “plastic-free” as a way of giving good example to everyone. But is this the witness that Christ has asked for?

Last week, from July 5-6, a large international conference was held at the Vatican which wanted to make a big deal about the third anniversary of the publication of the encyclical letter Laudato Si. The title of the conference was “Saving Our Common Home and the Future of Life on Earth.” The conference was organized by the new Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, presided over by Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, together with Caritas Internationalis and the Global Catholic Climate Movement. It was attended by politicians, scientists, economists, and representatives of non-government organizations, all of whom are obviously convinced or in some way promoters of ecologism and the battle against climate change.

I will not directly address the specific contents of conference, as this is a topic which we have already addressed many times and also quite recently. Rather, I think it is worth dwelling on a particularly curious detail which made the news during the press conference given at the Conference. Since “it is necessary to lead by giving good example” – as the heads of the Vatican Dicastery explained – and also because the Conference is dedicating ample time to discussing “good practices” – the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development announced that it is the first Vatican department to be “plastic-free,” free from plastic.

Since plastic is the new “Enemy Number 1,” its use has been forbidden in all of the offices of the Dicastery: all employees and officials will now bring glass beverage containers from home, use only metal cutlery, and so forth. And since Catholics are by nature missionaries, the intention [of the Dicastery] is to extend this initiative to all of the Vatican offices. But that’s not all: because of their infinite desire for the good, the Secretary of the Dicastery has also announced the objective of becoming “carbon neutral,” or neutral from the point of view of carbon anhydride emissions which – according to the theory which sees human activity as the primary cause of climate change – are alleged to be the cause of global warming. So we will now have Monsignors and employees of the Dicastery committed to quantifying and thereby reducing and compensating for their carbon dioxide emissions. As tempting and as easy as it would be, I will avoid allowing myself to comment on how it might be possible to reduce the “emissions” of the Monsignors in order to go straight to the heart of the matter.

Let’s assume for a moment – and I do not concede that it is true – that the theory of human-driven climate change is correct. Does the Catholic Church really need to be initiating ecological campaigns? Is this the reason Christ instituted the Church? To free mankind from plastic? Is the mission of the Church to save the planet?

It is impossible not to feel some uneasiness at hearing authoritative cardinals and bishops speaking with the same language as the World Wildlife Fund or the agencies of the United Nations, moreover a language which is inspired by neo-pagan ideologies and Masonic globalist political projects. It is disheartening to hear the word “prophecy” used in regard to eliminating plastics, using solar panels, and separate waste collection bins. It is disturbing to see Christian witness reduced to “good practices” and “giving a good example.”

One has the impression that at certain levels, more than a “plastic-free” Church what is really desired is a “Christ-free” Church, in which Jesus is seen as an embarrassing hindrance to encountering people. Speaking from his own point of view – and therefore in a positive way – one of the officials of the World Wildlife Fund in his comments at the conference emphasized how in the title of “Laudato Si” – and thus also in the title of the conference – the choice was made to speak of “our common home” and not of “Creation,” which is a religious term: “The choice to not use religious terminology in the title is the first sign of a great opening to dialogue with all persons of good will.” Or, in other words: let’s avoid speaking of Creation, which has a hierarchical order; let’s avoid speaking of a Creator God who is the source of our responsibility towards Creation – this would be a divisive theme. Let’s speak instead about biodiversity, about saving animals and plants, and about banning plastics. This is how we will all understand each other.

But when we have reached this point, it is evident that we have already become “Christ-free.”

Translated by Giuseppe Pellegrino

A version of this article was originally published at La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana on July 5, 2018. It has been edited to reflect that the dates of the conference have already passed.

I INVITE YOU TO WATCH MY INTERVIEW WITH PATRICK COFFIN ON HIS RADIO/WEB PROGRAM

83: Pope Francis and the Crisis of Confusion—Bishop Rene Henry Gracida (video segment— full audio below)

https://html5-player.libsyn.com/embed/episode/id/6792960/height/90/theme/custom/autoplay/no/autonext/no/thumbnail/no/preload/no/no_addthis/no/direction/backward/render-playlist/no/custom-color/f4b209/

A few minutes into my conversation with Bishop Gracida, bishop emeritus of Corpus Christi, TX, it becomes obvious that he is direct and to the point, evidently allergic to beating around the bush. Yet, he’s kindly and thoughtful. At 95, he is hale and hearty, and is one of the very few bishops who regularly blog. His remarks, sometimes trenchant, always readable, are found at http://www.abyssum.org Abyssus Abyssum Invocat, Latin for “deep calls to deep” (from Psalm 42:7).

If you feel somewhat disoriented by some of the utterances and writings of Pope Francis, you’re not alone. If the thought of criticizing the Pope makes you uncomfortable (there are plenty of nasty professional Francis Haters online), that’s a good sign of filial devotion to the Holy Father and to the Church he visibly leads. Sometimes, though, the faithful have “the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful” (Canon 212.3).

In this regards, Bishop Gracida has some questions that fearlessly “go there.” What do I mean? The authorized biography of disgraced Godfried Cardinal Daneels of Belgium describes activities between and among cardinal electors, such as Cardinal Carlo Martini, Cardinal Achille Silvestrini, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, and Cardinals Karl Lehmann and Walter Kasper—dubbed the St. Galen Mafia. These activities, verified by Austin Ivereigh in his hagiographic biography of Pope Francis, The Great Reformer: Francis and the Making Of a Radical Pope involve canvassing other electors to elect Jorge Cardinal Bergolio.

Well…

Bishop Rene Gracida believes, as do others, that this activity is canonically illegal under the promulgated laws in the 1996 Apostolic Constitution Universi Dominici Gregis, by St. John Paul II. If this is true, then the validity of the papal election may be in doubt. You read that right.

To state the obvious, I am not a canonist nor was I at the Conclave. What I know is that know that the reaction of most Catholic pundits to the notion that the 2013 election may have been invalid is met with a guffaw or a “that’s crazy talk.” It’s a gorilla in the room whose existence needs to be acknowledged before it can be dismissed as harmless.

After this interview you will:

  • Have a sense of appreciation for what Ordinaries are called to as shepherds of souls
  • Understand the difference between true episcopal authority as it resides in the individual bishop and the largely administrative authority of a national bishops’ conference
  • Get a clear picture of a self-described “one crisis after another” life lived to the full
  • See more reasons to renew your prayers for the life and health of the Church
  • Understand why the sacraments must never be politicized no matter who does it
  • Maybe be shaken up!
