Rioting Youth of 2020

By August 2020, the protests, demonstrations, riots, looting, and arson that followed from the national outrage over the killing of George Floyd had spread to most of America’s cities. But the furor over Floyd’s death was not the only catalyst of the protests. The previously instituted national quarantine—roughly from March 20 through September—had emasculated the U.S. economy.
Unemployment claims, in a prior economy of 3.5 percent near record low unemployment, now soared to 31,491,627 Americans out of work. The annual budget saw over $4 trillion in additional debt. Those who bore the greatest brunt were not coastal elites, but the recovering and once stagnant areas of the nation’s interior and inner cities.
Forty percent of Americans making less than $40,000 were believed to have lost their jobs. But even the lockdown was not the only catalyst for the rioting. There were also more existential foundations of the hysteria. Many of those inner-city youth rioting and demonstrating, for all the political rhetoric, were suffering from a 21 percent unemployment rate during the quarantine, nearly three times higher than the rate of college graduates. Half those under 50 had lost their jobs, were furloughed or suffered pay cuts.
Some of the urban single youth of all races, the foot soldiers of the more organized BLM and Antifa brigades—who were not mere opportunistic looters and rioters—were mired in tuition debt to acquire what were often nonmarketable degrees. They often added insult to injury by finding themselves nevertheless working in low-wage jobs. That paradox required the architects of Antifa and other purveyors of violence apparently to retreat to Marxist exegeses to explain their own lack of upward mobility and society’s culpability for not appreciating fully their woke genius and potentials. So veritable mass imprisonment within one’s homes, followed by an economic tsunami were the fuel for public rioting, should any spark, such as the killing of George Floyd, ignite the prior combustible fumes in our midst.
During the violent protests, a TikTok video went viral on social media, showing a recent Harvard graduate threatening to stab anyone who said “All lives matter.” In her melodrama, she tried to sound intimidating with her histrionics. She won a huge audience as she intended. But her video also came to the attention of the company that was going to give her an internship later that summer, Deloitte, which decided it didn’t want to add an intern who threatened to kill strangers who said something she didn’t like.
Then the narcissistic Harvard alum posted a very different video—one that showed her weeping in a near-fetal position. She fought back tears while complaining how unfair the world had been to her. Her initial TikTok post had earned cruel pushback from the social media jungle she had courted. Deloitte, she sobbed, was mean and hurtful. She wanted the world to share her pain. The Harvard grad instantly became an unwitting poster girl for the current protest movement and the violence that has accompanied it. What turned off millions of Americans about the statue toppling, the looting, the threats and the screaming in the faces of police was the schizophrenic behavior of so many of the would-be revolutionaries.
On one hand, those toppling statues or canceling their own on the internet pose as vicious Maoists—again the hard-core shock troops of the revolution. Their brand is vile profanity, taunts to police, firebombs and spray paint. But on the other hand, the demonstrators and looters proved fragile and mostly bluff. Apparently, the protestors were especially cognizant that their 20s were nothing like what they believe to have been the salad days of their parents and grandparents—who did not incur much debt, bought affordable homes, had families, and were able to save money.
Earlier generations went to college mainly to become educated and develop marketable skills. They had little exposure to ethnic and gender “studies” courses, ranting professors, and woke administrators. For the students of the 1960s, protesting was a side dish to a good investment in an affordable college degree that would pay off later.
But when such pathways are blocked, beware.
The woke but godless,
the arrogant but ignorant,
the violent but physically unimpressive,
the strutting but fragile,
the degreed but poorly educated,
the broke but acquisitive,
the ambitious but stalled,
these are history’s ingredients of riot and revolution. In sum, the rioting of spring, summer, and autumn of 2020 reflected a sort of “elite overproduction.” Universities churned out thousands of graduates who were poorly educated but felt that their financial and time investments in getting a “college degree” entitled them to either remain in, or enter, the elite of well-paid and influential America. When a BA no longer garnered such entre, millions of indebted youths were preconditioned for riot and vandalism, as if they were medieval peasants primed for revolt.
The beleaguered middle class, especially those of the suburbs, for the most part did not join rioting radicalized youths and inner-city minorities in the violence, looting, and destruction, even as their businesses were often targeted, and jobs lost. Some small stores that had somehow endured the two months of shutdowns, did not survive the flames and break-ins that devoured entire city blocks from Santa Monica to Minneapolis.
It was also no accident that many of the nation’s wealthiest, from enclaves in Malibu, Silicon Valley, and Manhattan, played the Jacobin role among the French aristocracy, and so cheered on the violent protests, assured that they were exempt from the violent ramifications of their own ideology. Certainly, while there was expressed outrage about the use of tear gas in dispersing violent protestors in the nation’s capital, few even noticed that the Beverly Hills police department stopped all would-be Black Lives Matter protestors aimed at Beverly Hills, through the generous use of tear gas.
In reductionist terms, the violence was medieval. The underclass attacked the sustenance of the middle class, while the progressive upper-class virtue signaled the protests from their secure keeps. Disenchanted and mostly white youth found a new relevance for their education as megaphones for violence, in a loud and visible fashion that working at Starbucks or Target had never offered. Their foot soldiers who looted on television were all too often the urban and minority underclass.
So, in bitter irony, an entrenched feudalism was apparent even in the new resistance society—as the more educated middle class condescendingly directed the noncredentialled poorer to new looting grounds. The absurdity of course, is the system that the protestors hated, and the president whom they despised, had just begun to arrest a decade of economic stagnation and chronic joblessness, achieving record low youth and minority unemployment.
We know the fuel for rioting—youth, boredom, idleness, economic frustration, and just enough education to allow the ignorant to believe they are all-knowing. We know its antidote—job stability, a good salary, marriage, children, and ownership of a home. But when the latter are absent, the former predominate. The rioters made the necessary adjustments, as they veneered over their own personal sense of failure and bleak economic futures, with the public sheen of cosmic injustice and damnation of the culpable state and common culture.

US Marshals: We’re Looking To See If The Jan 6 Defendants Are Being Deliberately Mistreated

The feds have locked up hundreds of people connected to the January 6 riot. That’s all it was, by the way. It was a riot. It was not a violent insurrection. It wasn’t an armed coup. It wasn’t worse than the American Civil War. It sure as hell wasn’t worse than the 9/11 attacks. It was mostly a bunch of people walking around inside the Capitol Building. It’s why Democrats don’t want us to see all the security camera footage. It’s bland and boring as hell—far from the “end of the republic” narrative they’ve been stroking for months. Get over it. Everyone else has—and the fact that hundreds have been arrested undercuts the reasoning behind creating a select committee to investigate how this happened. No one cares—especially now.
Judge Royce C. Lamberth called for an investigation into the conditions of the prisoners and the US Marshal Service has acted upon that request (via NBC4 Washington):
A week ago, a federal judge raised questions about the treatment of those Jan. 6 inmates at the jail after revelations one of the defendants had a broken hand that was allegedly improperly cared for.
The judge also formally found the jail warden and the director of the D.C. Department of Corrections in contempt of court for not responding to court questions about the medical care of Jan. 6 inmates.
The judge says he’s referring the matter to the U.S. attorney general for a possible civil rights violation investigation.

Most of these people should be set free. The sentencing guidelines for some have also been questioned, with federal prosecutors asking for decades-long jail sentences for people who just walked around a building. It’s classic overreach. You don’t need to have a law degree to see that—even Obama-appointed judges see through it. For those who fought with the cops, that’s a different story—but most of these folks didn’t do anything that requires jail time. Sorry—it’s a political witch hunt. And for all this technology that found these people, it seems it’s incapable of finding Brian Laundrie in Florida. This circus has gone on long enough.

Biden Nominee For Health Post Is Alarming October 22, 2021 Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on a Biden nominee who is a threat to public safety: If credentials were sufficient grounds for holding a position in the Biden administration, Atul Gawande would merit a unanimous vote. He is a Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, a graduate of Harvard Medical School, a Rhodes Scholar, a distinguished author, and the former CEO of a healthcare organization. This is surely why President Biden has nominated him to be assistant administrator of the Bureau for Global Health at the U.S. Agency for International Development. There are very good reasons, however, why Senator Marco Rubio sounded the alarm on Gawande. He is a defender of infanticide, a reflection, no doubt, of his crass utilitarian philosophy. In short, credentials, no matter how stellar, tell us nothing about the ethics of the person. Rubio, who sits on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, centers his objection to Gawande on a 1998 essay he wrote for Slate, the left-wing media outlet. It was a full-throated defense of partial-birth abortion. Gawande casually describes what partial-birth abortion entails. “The fetus is delivered feet first. To get the large head out, the doctor cuts open a hole at the base of the fetus’s skull and inserts tubing to suck out the brain, which collapses the skull. Often, but not always, the fetus is injected lethally beforehand.” Gawande knows how normal people react to this monstrous procedure, and he has a ready answer for them. “If partial-birth abortion is too gruesome to allow, however, it is hard to see how other late abortions, especially D and Es [dilatation and evacuation], are any different.” He’s right about that. “About 80 percent of late-term abortions are done by D and E,” Gawande says. “A couple of days ahead, small, absorbent rods are put in the pregnant woman’s cervical opening to expand it gradually. Then, for the actual procedure, she—and the fetus—are given heavy sedation or general anesthesia. The doctor breaks her bag of water and drains out the fluid. The opening won’t let the fetus out whole. So the doctor uses metal tongs, physically crushes the head, and dismembers the fetus. The pieces are pulled out and counted to confirm that nothing was missed.” Not even a toe. Gawande speaks with clinical detachment about the most Nazi-like practices. “What makes abortion disturbing is that the fetus is big now—like a fully formed child. Two of my obstetrician friends, both strongly pro-choice, told me that, even when it is a mother’s life at stake and abortion is absolutely necessary, doing the D and E feels ‘horrible.’ We imagine, as we look in the fetus’s eyes, that there is someone in there.” Imagine that. A big unborn child, who miraculously resembles a “fully formed child,” inspires those who look into his eyes that there really is someone there! Hooman Noorchashm is an M.D. who also holds a Ph.D. He worked with Gawande at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), a Harvard-affiliated entity, in Boston. On December 11, 2018, he wrote a letter to Gawande commenting on his appointment as the new CEO of Haven Healthcare. Noorchashm raked Gawande over the coals for going mute on a serious scandal that took place at the hospital when they worked there. A surgical tool was used during hysterectomies that spread a dangerous cancer in some of the hospital’s patients. The device is called a morcellator. It is used to cut up and remove tissue to treat fibroids. While these growths are usually benign, they sometimes cannot be detected before surgery. As described by the Wall Street Journal, which covered the scandal, “Morcellation can send pieces of malignant tissue into other parts of the abdomen, significantly reducing a woman’s chance of long-term survival, the FDA said.” One of the women treated at BWH died after a hysterectomy with morcellation in 2012. She was 52. When Noorchashm spoke to Gawande about this issue, he was struck by his cowardly silence. What makes this so disturbing is that Gawande has a reputation as the guardian of public safety. Moreover, he was fully aware of a critical analysis of what was going on at BWH. Noorchashm said in his letter to him that “you failed to rise up, at all, to defend a surgical and ethical critique and position [of this dangerous operation] you knew was absolutely correct—I know your silence was for the sake of internal politics, or perhaps it was because of the ethically imbalanced utilitarian philosophy your writings seem to promote.” Noorshashm didn’t mince words. “Maybe you believe that the majority benefit and cost/revenue advantages somehow justified the minority subset of women whose cancers were being spread and upstaged by GYNs using their ‘meat-grinders’ through small holes.” He called Gawande’s selection as CEO of Haven Healthcare “monumentally frightening.” Surely the Biden administration can find someone who has a more humane record than Gawande. Farben: pharmaceuticals, dyes, chemicals, synthetics. During WW2, Farben had prisoners shipped from Auschwitz to its nearby facility, where horrendous medical/pharmaceutical experiments were carried out on them. At the end of the War, Farben executives were put on trial and, despite the efforts of Telford Taylor, the chief US prosecutor, and assistant prosecutor, Josiah DuBois, the sentences handed out were light. For example, Fritz Ter Meer, a high-ranking Farben executive, was tried for mass murder and slavery, and sentenced to a paltry seven years in jail. He was released after three years, and went on to occupy a post as chairman of the advisory board of Bayer, a “branch on the tree” of the nominally “disbanded” IG Farben. During World War 2, Josiah Du Bois, representing the US federal government, had been sent on a fact-finding mission to Guatemala. His comment: “As far as I can tell the country is a wholly owned subsidiary of Farben.” What Farben stood for was an attempt to remake the planet in terms of power. Farben held important cards. It employed brilliant chemists who, in some ways, moved far ahead of its competitors. Farben was all about synthetics. Rubber, oil, dyes, pharmaceuticals. Dr. Anthony Fauci was already the head of the NIH’s National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, hired in 1984, during the outbreak of HIV, touted as health expert advisor to seven presidents. Evén then he was corrupt, looking out for not only his ambitious interests but protecting the interests of Big Pharma, truly a criminal den of thieves. While we’re on the subject of Fauci … in Dr. Richard Fleming’s recent published book, “Is COVID-19 a Bioweapon?”, he provides evidence that Fauci, HHS, AND NIH approved federal grant funding of gain of function research as early as the mid-1980s on recombinant genetic engineering creating coronaviruses, collecting and combining chimeric, human and animal nucleic acids, at the RNA and DNA level for vaccines to treat HIV (unsuccessfully), later SARS-CoV-1 AND SARS-CoV-2! Watch out for names of these genocidal Frankensteinian maniacs, Dr. Ralph Baric, of the U. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who applied and received numerous patents for the development of these chimeric recombinant coronaviruses and Dr. Shi Zhengli-Li of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, her gain of function work on coronaviruses funded by the Chinese govt., altering spike proteins in coronaviruses. Another name to watch out for is Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance who, according to Dr. Fleming, in 2015 funded along with the NIH, both Baric’s and Zheng-Li’s research successfully creating a chimeric virus “expressing the spike of bat coronavirus … in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone.” According to Baric, “This virus is highly pathogenic…” (p. 21, “Is COVID-19 a Bioweapon?”) The Fleming book is full of hard evidence from public records on patents and funding sources heavily documented, that the latest coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, a dangerous and highly contagious virus, mostly a remanufactured version of SARS-CoV-1, is man-made, not natural. This is not fictional, deranged conspiracy theory nonsense. Documented, forensic evidence proves it. Its time for all humanity to realize we must hear and see the truth that sets us free (Jn. 8:31) from the tyranny of vaccine mandates, the widespread corruption of science and governmental oversight over public health, and the prevailing culture of fear. But, when the COVID came out last year, the ‘experts’ came out to tell the public that people who died with the COVID were killed by the COVID no matter what unlike the new Colin Powell situation where there must be no deaths attributed to the vaccine as the American Thinker explained in the article:
Now, one line of thought is that the vaccines are useless, given that they didn’t protect Powell. But it’s doubtful that any of these experts really know what did Powell in.
It could just as easily be that Powell died of other causes even as he had COVID, but now his death is called a COVID death when in reality, it was a cancer death. I’m going to pursue this latter line of thought.
When are Dr. Anthony Fauci, the CDC, the NIH, and other “experts” going to tell the public the truth about how many people died from other causes that were instead attributed to COVID? That’s been an issue for a while.

Back in March, epidemiological expert Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg brought forward the scientific evidence that the PCR test used to verify Coronavirus could be flawed and even possibly dubious in results which basically could falsely be claiming a virus is Coronavirus when it’s another virus. It appears that Dr. Wodarg was proven right. The Coronavirus PCR tests that were quickly accepted by the apparent Communist Chinese operative World Health Organization (WHO) which caused the supposed panicked urgency by giving not only possibly false positives, but wrongly identifying flu-like symptoms as COVID-19.
In March, 2020, in Germany there was real debate between pulmonologist specialist Dr. Wodarg and the website which is called Mimikana.
The website presents Dr. Wodarg’s position as the Coronavirus “is not statistically as exceptional as it is presented: Without tests, nobody would notice that SARS-CoV-2 existed at all… In fact, we don’t see an increase at this point – in Europe!”
Mimikana admits this is apparently true, but says the “real comparison, we have to use are the mortality rates in China” which are apparently approximately 6 times higher than normal according to the chart they presented. (Mimikana, “Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg is an internist and pulmonologist, that is, a specialist. However, his statements cause discussion.,” March 17, 2020)
The website article is an attempt to refute Wodarg’s position and ends with the conclusion that:
“The claim that the current quarantine measures are nonsensical and exaggerated cannot be confirmed… other experts show quite clearly that it is dangerous to underestimate SARS- CoV- 2.”
“Apart from that, there is another danger… that of mutation! The more a virus spreads, the greater the likelihood that it will mutate.”
The last sentence made me laugh because even I know that all viruses mutate. That’s what they do.

The new coronavirus, like all other viruses, mutate, or undergoes small changes in its genome. A recently published study suggests… [it] had already mutated into one more or one less aggressive strain. But experts aren’t convinced.”

– This problem is exacerbated by our current historical conditions. As the theological community began to unravel before, during and after Vatican II, those who considered themselves orthodox were those who were obedient and intellectually submissive to the Magisterium, since those who dissented were not orthodox. Therefore the standard of orthodoxy was shifted from Scripture, intrinsic tradition (of which the Magisterium is a part) and extrinsic tradition (which includes magisterial acts of the past, such as Pius IX’s Syllabus of Errors), to a psychological state in which only the current Magisterium is followed.
Neoconservatives have fallen into this way of thinking. The only standard by which they judge – orthodoxy is whether or not one follows the current Magisterium. As a general rule, traditionalists tend to be orthodox in the sense that they are obedient to the current Magisterium, even though they disagree about matters of discipline and have some reservations about certain aspects of current magisterial teachings that seem to contradict the previous Magisterium (e.g., the role of the ecumenical movement). Traditionalists tend to take not just the current Magisterium as their norm but also Scripture, intrinsic tradition, extrinsic tradition and the current Magisterium as the principles of judgment of correct Catholic thinking. This is what distinguishes traditionalists and neoconservatives
Inevitably, this magisterialism has led to a form of positivism. Since there are no principles of judgment other than the current Magisterium, whatever the current Magisterium says is always what is “orthodox.” In other words, psychologically the neoconservatives have been left in a position in which the extrinsic and intrinsic tradition are no longer included in the norms of judging whether something is orthodox or not. As a result, whatever comes out of the Vatican, regardless of its authoritative weight, is to be held, even if it contradicts what was taught with comparable authority in the past. Since non-infallible ordinary acts of the Magisterium can be erroneous, this leaves one in a precarious situation if one takes as true only what the current Magisterium says. While we are required to give religious assent even to the non-infallible teachings of the Church, what are we to do when a magisterial document contradicts other current or previous teachings and one does not have any more authoritative weight than the other? It is too simplistic merely to say that we are to follow the current teaching. What would happen if in a period of crisis, like our own, a non-infallible ordinary magisterial teaching contradicted what was in fact the truth? If one part of the Magisterium contradicts another, both being at the same level, which is to believed?
Unfortunately, what has happened is that many neoconservatives have acted as if non-infallible ordinary magisterial teachings (such as, for instance, the role of inculturation in the liturgy as stated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church) are, in fact, infallible when the current Magisterium promulgates them. This is a positivist mentality. Many of the things that neoconservatives do are the result of implicitly adopting principles that they have not fully or explicitly considered. Many of them would deny this characterization because they do not intellectually hold to what, in fact, are their operative principles. – Fr. What is a Semi-Modernist and could Fr. Thomas Weinandy be a Semi-Modernist in recently promoting the Francis agenda?
Why were the conservative Vatican II popes and why are almost all the conservative present day bishops and conservative Catholics so afraid of a schism with the Modernist heretic faction?

Semi-Arians were those who attempted the practically almost impossible task of being loyal to the traditional teachings of the Church while holding on to Semi-Arian ambiguous teachings because they were afraid of being in schism with the total Arian heretics who were supported and protected by the Roman government.
So today, it appears that most conservative Catholics like the Semi-Arians have tried to do the practically almost impossible task of being loyal to the infallible teachings of the Church while holding on to Semi-Modernist ambiguous teachings as well as the ambiguities of Vatican II because they are afraid of being in schism with the Modernist heretics.
Newman said that during the Arian Heresy Crisis 80% of the bishops were Arians or semi-Arains which is probably similar to the number of bishops who today have fallen into Modernism or Semi-Modernism.
Francis’s closest adviser and collaborator Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga apparently declared himself, Francis and all liberals to be total Modernist heretics since Vatican II:

The journalist conservative Catholic Milo Yiannopoulos in his book “Diabolical” reported:
“Since Vatican II, most popes have been preoccupied with holding together the conservative [Semi-Modernist] and liberal [Modernist heretic] factions that emerged in its wake.”
Again, I say during the Arian crisis, Semi-Arians were those who attempted the practically almost impossible task of being loyal to the traditional teachings of the Church while holding on to Semi-Arian ambiguous teachings because they were afraid of being in schism with the total Arian heretics.
So today, it appears that most conservative Catholics like the Semi-Arians have tried to do the practically almost impossible task of being loyal to the infallible teachings of the Church while holding on to Semi-Modernist ambiguous teachings as well as the ambiguities of Vatican II because they are afraid of being in schism with the Modernist heretics.
Might it be because like in the Arian crisis when there were Arians and Semi-Arians so today there are Semi-Modernists who because of “weakness” don’t want schism and want communion with the total Modernist heretics?
If Francis is a Modernist then, might the conservative Fr. Thomas Weinandy possibly hold Semi-Modernist and Semi-Arian opinions?

This article responds to Thomas Weinandy’s account of the consciousness and knowledge of Christ. Deserving of careful consideration, his is a rich and multifaceted proposal on a difficult and complex topic. Some of the complexity is theological in nature, not all of which I will be able to avoid in my response. Still, this response is meant to be primarily philosophical in nature. And it appears that there are two kinds of philosophical presuppositions that typically go unacknowledged in discussions of this topic. One concerns theories of personhood and self-consciousness. The personal pronoun Iwould be connected with a human nature as self-conscious, rather than with the divine person in which this nature subsists.[… ]
I do not currently see any philosophical objections to this suggestion regarding the Trinity. But neither do I see what would force us to make this assumption. By contrast, Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, for example, would hold that there are three intelligent and free subjects in God.4 And [End Page 426] indeed, though the three persons are distinct from each other, each is not “really” distinct from the divine essence, and we would therefore expect each person to have all the properties that the essence has. The persons are distinct only by their proper relationality with each other. It appears that the Sedevacantist friendly website, aka Catholic, may be making a big deal for their cause about the apparent Semi-Modernist and possible Arian Fr. Weinandy jumping on board with Francis’s “Synodal Path to a Synodal Church”:
Based on his 2017 letter to Jorge, it appeared that he had at least some semblance of Catholic faith coursing through his veins. Did someone spike the Capuchin’s cappuccino? Was he blackmailed? Did Jorge’s operatives threaten to shoot his puppy?
While any and all of these things are possible given the level of evil presently dwelling in occupied Rome, the real answer is far more obvious:
Weinandy is just another man of the Council. As such, whenever or wherever his words or deeds give the appearance of orthodoxy, it is just this, mere appearance. In reality, he, like the rest of his conciliar con freres, is tainted with more than a little leaven of error. They belong to a counterfeit church. As the Baltimore Catechism states:
“If any Catholic denies only one article of faith, though he believes all the rest, he ceases to be a Catholic, and is cut off from the Church” (see Q. 129, 1945 edition, p. 142).
Consider Weinandy’s passionate praise for the Almighty Council and its abundant fruit published just last year:

Before we move to the next point that Sedevacantists and Francis Traditionalists like Steve Skojec are in agreement that Francis and Benedict as well as John Paul II are the same, let’s look at the problems with Sedevacantism.
Number one is Vatican I.
Are they prepared to deny Vatican I?
Vatican I clearly teaches that popes will reign perpetually:
“[T]he true doctrine concerning the establishment, the perpetuity, and the nature of the apostolic primacy. In this primacy, all the efficacy and all the strength of the Church are placed. Br. Alexis Bugnolo explains some other problems with them: Sedevacantists hold in general that there have been no true popes since Pius XII. They accept the error of Luther that there is no authority or unity in the Church except that which is given the individual by the virtue of Faith. Thus, holding themselves as purer than all others, after the manner of Jansenists, they judge nearly everyone a heretic and thus outside of the Church. Getting back to the Sedevacantist and Francis Traditionalists like Skojec thinking Francis and Benedict as well as John Paul II are the same.
The Remnant and Skojec are right in saying that the Vatican II’s ambiguities which were a forerunner of Amoris Laetitia’s ambiguity lead to the problems within the Church and outside including false ecumenism.
Strangely, the non-traditionalist conservative Matthew Schmitz put it best:
“[T]he post-Vatican II settlement [of]… Upholding Catholic teaching on paper but not in reality as led to widespread corruption… a culture of lies… that allowed men like McCarrick to flourish.”
It allowed the Church of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI to keep heretics and homosexual predators in the hierarchy such as McCarrick and others like him to flourish and to promote neo-sacrilegious media productions such as the Assisi fiasco and the kissing of the Koran.
This was wrong and God will judge them for their failures to be good fathers (popes) in allowing evil men into God’s Church to abuse and to lead many to indifferentism and away from salvation which is only in Jesus through His Church.
Both sincerely in my opinion because of false philosophical personal ideas while not totally abandoning Thomism tried to do the practically almost impossible task of being loyal to the infallible teachings of the Church while holding on to neo-modernist Personalist versions of Kantian and Hegelian philosophy as well as the ambiguities of Vatican II.
Benedict if you read his later writings finally rejected Kantianism, but apparently couldn’t completely give up Hegelianism.
However, he realized in a vague way that the ambiguity of Vatican II was destroying the Church so he brought back the Traditional Latin Mass and attempted to fight against sex abuse, the Vatican gay lobby and reform the finances to the Church.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, these efforts united the financially corrupt old guard of Cardinal Angelo Sodano and the Vatican gay lobby which brought about Vatileaks and other pressures against Benedict that eventually lead to the Benedict resignation and the papacy of Jorge Bergoglio whose pontifical validity has been questioned by many even in the hierarchy from the beginning to this day.
As Bishop René Gracida has said there was never universal acceptance of Bergoglio by the Church.
But even more importantly, there are reasonable doubts about the validity of Benedict’s resignation and Bergoglio’s lawful election to the papacy which were never present with the other papacies which Bishop Gracida declares must be investigated and interpreted by the cardinals as John Paul’s conclave constitution explicitly states.
This is one reason that Francis is not the same as Benedict and John Paul.
The other reason that The Remnant and Skojec are wrong about saying Francis is the same as Benedict and John Paul can be put simply in analogy:
John Paul and Benedict were sincere doctors with medicine that was getting the patient sicker.
Benedict realized the medicine was bad and slowly started giving good medicine.
But in my opinion, Francis is a doctor who is trying to kill the patient by slow poisoning.
In my opinion, it is obvious that Francis doesn’t have even a remnant of Thomism. Nor does he apparently care about being loyal to the infallible Church teachings. He appears to be a nihilistic postmodernist like his favorite theologian Michel de Certeau.
Francis’s only grasp of reality or meaning appears to be leftist and Peronist ideology as well as his close friend the kissing bishop’s Bernard Haring Hegelian situation ethics all dressed in religious language.
While Benedict and John Paul upheld Church teachings on paper while not always in reality, Francis with Amoris Laetitia, the Argentine letter, the death penalty Catechism change and the latest indifferentism papal statement isn’t even upholding the infallible teachings on paper.
George Gilder wrote a book called “Sexual Suicide” which helped me return to the Church because it showed that the Catholic teachings on sexuality were true and those outside those teachings were committing slow suicide.
Francis in my opinion is trying to kill the Church by slow suicide.
He will not succeed because Jesus promised the gates of Hell will not prevail.
Those who don’t oppose him in my opinion are his accomplices unless they are in invincible ignorance.
In my opinion, it appears that if Francis doesn’t convert he may be heading down a path of destruction along with all his accomplices if they don’t convert if they aren’t in invincible ignorance.
I feel sorry for them.
We must pray for him and his accomplices, but most of all we must pray for all those abused and lead away from salvation by their promotion of heresy.Pray an Our Father now for reparation for the sins committed because of Francis’s Amoris Laetitia.
Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church as well as the Triumph of the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.
