My previous email send had a typo in the first section. I apologize for offending erudite readers such as yourselves.
Please remember that I write this and send it without editorial oversight because they’re busy people. All mistakes are my own. And in this case, it was an embarrassingly obvious mistake! The perils of not doing one last read when writing something over many days. My apologies!

Government in your Business
With Biden in charge, unelected bureaucrats are going buck wild. There’s been a bonanza of regulations and extreme enforcement of extreme regulations.
The government do-gooders are knocking on your door and they’re not here to help.
Our writers, have covered a few areas of interference this week.
EPA: Wrongly accusing mod-shops of modifying cars to defy air quality standards.
Biden’s announcement to enforce unattainable emissions standards on all cars. The thing that bothers me about this is that it’s another way to punish the poor. They cannot afford the fancy schmancy electric cars, there will be no charging stations near them, but they’ll be penalized just the same.
In Michigan, nosy ninnies have been hired to go through people’s recycling bins. because they’re not being fastidious enough. That’s tax payer money to root through trash.
COVID: How can we count the ways of government interference? They are myriad. Vaccine passports in New York. Edicts from the CDC telling landlords that they’re criminals for needing money to pay mortgages.
Donald Trump knew the misery that the regulatory state could cause businesses. That’s why he made cutting back regulations a mission.
Biden has reversed course and empowered bureaucrats are persecuting law-abiding citizens who have to waste time and money defending themselves against these government-paid hall-pass monitors.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, Barack Obama and his wealthy pals partied, maskless together. What’s a 600 person party? No big whup.
Meanwhile, with the latest COVID scare, there are vaccine passports and school regulations and businesses are freaking out.
Are you sick of it? 90% of the vulnerable are vaccinated and 70% of American adults are vaccinated and children have less risk than fully vaccinated adults. We need to stay this maddness and adjust to the reality that we’ll have to live with COVID. And, unfortunately, invasive species of Democrat-empowered bureaucrats.

Cardinal Joseph Zen, 89, of Hong Kong, China. We spoke together today in a video-taped round-table discussion on the liturgy organized in Italy by Italian musicologist Maestro Aurelio Porfiri
Even if the wounds of this shattered world enmesh you, and the sea in turmoil bears you along in but one surviving ship, it would still befit you to maintain your enthusiasm for studies unimpaired. Why should lasting values tremble if transient things fall?”—Prosper of Aquitaine (390-455 A.D.), a disciple of St. Augustine of Hippo and one of the secretaries of Pope Leo the Great (440-461 A.D.). Prosper was a layman, but threw himself with ardour into the religious controversies of the day, defending orthodoxy, particularly the doctrine of the necessity of grace against the Pelagians    Prosper of Aquitaine wrote the lines above in the early to mid-400s in what was then the collapsing province of Gaul in the Roman Empire, soon to be overrun by the barbarian Goths, Vandals and Franks. So Prosper writes in a time when the vineyards begin to be unkept, the orchards unpruned, the stone aqueducts cracked and unrepaired, and the whole edifice of the once-glorious empire of Rome — a bit like the free countries of the West in our own time — begins slowly to slide into its colossal decline and fall… Still, Prosper continued his studies, writing in defense of the truth, as best he could…    ”The motu proprio Traditionis Custodes has caused many concerns in Catholic communities around the world: “The liturgical books promulgated by Saint Paul VI and Saint John Paul II, in conformity with the decrees of Vatican Council II, are the unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.” Will there be a future for the traditional Latin Mass?” Italian Maestro Aurelio Porfiri, in the introduction to a round-table on the liturgy convened this morning, now available on the internet    ***    Letter #82, 2021, Monday, August 9: Zen    I was privileged today to participate with Cardinal Joseph Zen, 89, of Hong Kong, China, and Bishop Athanasius Schneider, 60, in a round-table discussion on the liturgy organized by Aurelio Porfiri, a very talented Italian musicologist (he has been the organist in St. Peter’s Basilica) with an expertise in sacred music.     (Maestro Porfiri and I are planning to begin regular coverage of sacred music, with articles by Porfiri himself, in the pages of Inside the Vaticanmagazine. To subscribe to our unique magazine, click here.)    ***    Zen at five years old, attending Mass in Latin in China    Cardinal Joseph Zen, 89, of Hong Kong, China, participated, and spoke with great eloquence about how his own faith was formed in a profound way by the celebration of the old Latin liturgy when he was a boy in Shanghai almost a century ago.     He said his father brought him to five Masses every Sunday, and that this shaped him profoundly, laving an indelible impression on his mind and heart.    Zen said he felt saddened by the decision of Pope Francis on July 16 to suppress the old Latin liturgy in his decree Traditionis custodes.     Zen said that the natural love of the Chinese people for the thoughtful silence and ancient, austere ritual of the old Mass had drawn millions to faith in Christ over the centuries (see the video at about 17 minutes from the end).    Zen suggested that officials in the Vatican’s Secretariat of State had urged the Pope to take this decision, though he acknowledged that, though he is one of the senior cardinals in the Church, he does not really understand the true motivation for this decree.    When it comes time for him to die, Zen said, he has asked for a funeral Mass to be celebrated for him according to the old Latin rite. He said he hopes that will still be possible.    Zen also surprised all of us by chanting briefly (in Gregorian chant) a few lines from the Dies irae, an old Latin hymn (toward the end of the video, with about 16:30 left, link here and below).    Schneider and the sacrifice of the Mass    Bishop Athanasius Schneider, 60, of Astana, Kazakhstan, concentrated more on the meaning of the Mass itself, stressing that the sacrificial element was paramount — that the Mass at once is a commemoration of the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross, and a spiritual participation in that sacrifice, meaning that the Mass, being Christocentric, rather than “community-centric,” that is, focusing on Christ rather than on anything else, actually may be associated truly with the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.     This is why the Mass is celebrated on an altar, and the gifts of bread and wine are offered to God, Schneider said.     An altar, he emphasized, not a table, so that it drew on all the symbolism — and reality — of the Jewish Temple sacrifice, and of the sacrifice on the cross, as well as on the Passover meal symbolism which gave special meaning to Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples in the Upper Room, which was indeed a meal, but yet was set within this larger, sacrificial context.    Bogle, Alanis Suarez, Rao…    Also guests on the program were James Bogleformer head of Una Voce International of Great Britain, Felipe Alanis Suarezpresent head of Una Voce, o fMexico, and Prof. John Rao, a graduate of Oxford who now teaches at St. John’s University in New York, USA, one of leaders of the Roman Forum, founded by Dietrich von Hildebrand in 1968.    All spoke of how many tens of thousands of Catholics, often families with many small children, have drawn great spiritual nourishment from the austere beauty of the old liturgy, and of how they do not desire to break with Rome, or Pope Francis, or any of the Popes of the past, but to remain in union with Rome, and with all their ancestors in the faith and all the saints who down the ages chanted the hymns and prayed the prayers of the old liturgy with great devotion for 20 centuries.    So the round-table included representatives from China, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Mexico, the United States, and Italy. A cross-section of the peoples of the world, one might say, and in this sense, a catholic round-table…    Here is a link to the video: link, and link.    [Note: The beginning is a loud advertisement, then there is silence for three minutes; the content begins at around the 3:05 minute mark]

It’s raining babies at TAS and we couldn’t be happier.
Ben Domenech gave a monologue on FOX this week about how babies and families and children are an affront to the Left. He says, “But if you’ve ever noticed, there really is one thing that woke, socialist progressives seem to hate more than anything else: babies.”
And this is true. Ben continues, “And that is the Left’s real problem with children: they create families. They turn boys into men, couples into parents, and women into the archangels we call moms.
This understanding of family rejects the old forms of authoritarianism just as it rejects the newer evils of eugenics. America’s founders didn’t seek to build a utopia out of the bloodstream of elites, but a republic where every child born in America, no matter the meanness of his origins, is a limitless potential and a spark of the divine.”

VERITATIS SPLENDOR, BY SAINT POPE John Paul II

CHAPTER II – “DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD ” (Rom 12:2) – The Church and the discernment of certain tendencies in present-day moral theology

Teaching what befits sound doctrine (cf. Tit 2:1)

28. Our meditation on the dialogue between Jesus and the rich young man has enabled us to bring together the essential elements of Revelation in the Old and New Testament with regard to moral action. These are: the subordination of man and his activity to God, the One who “alone is good”; the relationship clearly indicated in the divine commandments, between the moral good of human acts and eternal life; Christian discipleship, which opens up before man the perspective of perfect love; and finally the gift of the Holy Spirit, source and means of the moral life of the “new creation” (cf. 2 Cor 5:17).

In her reflection on morality, the Church has always kept in mind the words of Jesus to the rich young man. Indeed, Sacred Scripture remains the living and fruitful source of the Church’s moral doctrine; as the Second Vatican Council recalled, the Gospel is “the source of all saving truth and moral teaching”.43 The Church has faithfully preserved what the word of God teaches, not only about truths which must be believed but also about moral action, action pleasing to God (cf. 1 Th 4:1); she has achieved a doctrinal development analogous to that which has taken place in the realm of the truths of faith. Assisted by the Holy Spirit who leads her into all the truth (cf. Jn 16:13), the Church has not ceased, nor can she ever cease, to contemplate the “mystery of the Word Incarnate”, in whom “light is shed on the mystery of man”.44

29. The Church’s moral reflection, always conducted in the light of Christ, the “Good Teacher”, has also developed in the specific form of the theological science called “moral theology “, a science which accepts and examines Divine Revelation while at the same time responding to the demands of human reason. Moral theology is a reflection concerned with “morality”, with the good and the evil of human acts and of the person who performs them; in this sense it is accessible to all people. But it is also “theology”, inasmuch as it acknowledges that the origin and end of moral action are found in the One who “alone is good” and who, by giving himself to man in Christ, offers him the happiness of divine life.

The Second Vatican Council invited scholars to take “special care for the renewal of moral theology”, in such a way that “its scientific presentation, increasingly based on the teaching of Scripture, will cast light on the exalted vocation of the faithful in Christ and on their obligation to bear fruit in charity for the life of the world”.45 The Council also encouraged theologians, “while respecting the methods and requirements of theological science, to look for a more appropriate way of communicating doctrine to the people of their time; since there is a difference between the deposit or the truths of faith and the manner in which they are expressed, keeping the same meaning and the same judgment”.46 This led to a further invitation, one extended to all the faithful, but addressed to theologians in particular: “The faithful should live in the closest contact with others of their time, and should work for a perfect understanding of their modes of thought and feelings as expressed in their culture”.47

The work of many theologians who found support in the Council’s encouragement has already borne fruit in interesting and helpful reflections about the truths of faith to be believed and applied in life, reflections offered in a form better suited to the sensitivities and questions of our contemporaries. The Church, and particularly the Bishops, to whom Jesus Christ primarily entrusted the ministry of teaching, are deeply appreciative of this work, and encourage theologians to continue their efforts, inspired by that profound and authentic “fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom” (cf. Prov 1:7).

At the same time, however, within the context of the theological debates which followed the Council, there have developed certain interpretations of Christian morality which are not consistent with “sound teaching” (2 Tim 4:3). Certainly the Church’s Magisterium does not intend to impose upon the faithful any particular theological system, still less a philosophical one. Nevertheless, in order to “reverently preserve and faithfully expound” the word of God,48 the Magisterium has the duty to state that some trends of theological thinking and certain philosophical affirmations are incompatible with revealed truth.49

30. In addressing this Encyclical to you, my Brother Bishops, it is my intention to state the principles necessary for discerning what is contrary to “sound doctrine”, drawing attention to those elements of the Church’s moral teaching which today appear particularly exposed to error, ambiguity or neglect. Yet these are the very elements on which there depends “the answer to the obscure riddles of the human condition which today also, as in the past, profoundly disturb the human heart. What is man? What is the meaning and purpose of our life? What is good and what is sin? What origin and purpose do sufferings have? What is the way to attaining true happiness? What are death, judgment and retribution after death? Lastly, what is that final, unutterable mystery which embraces our lives and from which we take our origin and towards which we tend?”.50 These and other questions, such as: what is freedom and what is its relationship to the truth contained in God’s law? what is the role of conscience in man’s moral development? how do we determine, in accordance with the truth about the good, the specific rights and duties of the human person? — can all be summed up in the fundamental question which the young man in the Gospel put to Jesus: “Teacher, what good must I do to have eternal life?” Because the Church has been sent by Jesus to preach the Gospel and to “make disciples of all nations…, teaching them to observe all” that he has commanded (cf. Mt 28:19-20), she today once more puts forward the Master’s reply, a reply that possesses a light and a power capable of answering even the most controversial and complex questions. This light and power also impel the Church constantly to carry out not only her dogmatic but also her moral reflection within an interdisciplinary context, which is especially necessary in facing new issues.51

It is in the same light and power that the Church’s Magisterium continues to carry out its task of discernment, accepting and living out the admonition addressed by the Apostle Paul to Timothy: “I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching. For the time will come when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. As for you, always be steady, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry” (2 Tim 4:1-5; cf. Tit 1:10, 13-14).

  1. The joy of the traditionalists has now coalesced with the joy of the magi in a fitting climactic crescendo for the Christ Child in His cradle this Christmas. Mary says “His name is Jesus,” and at this name shepherds and kings bend their knees in reverent awe. This joy has been ever on our minds and in our hearts, as it was for our predecessors Benedict XVI and Saint John Paul II, as we all, now again unified, bow in worshipful reverence before the Babe of Bethlehem. We have continued to press on ever more in the constant search for the ecclesial unity and communion of those with Jesus those centuries ago.
  2. The previously-announced via caritatis, the sand foundation of a deficient and defective theory of universal, all-encompassing mercy, was said to point to a path to unity. This was an erroneous doctrinal detour, rather than a way to truth. It was a misbegotten path for the return of multitudes to supposed union with the Church. Numerous members of the faithful were deceived. Those publicly living in adultery rejoiced when they were told they could live on in their error and return to their ecclesial home. Those who took part in catholic community life celebrated publicly what they had been convinced was now the virtue of their voluntary engagement in fornication. Racists were led to believe they had found a place in the Church for the joyful, fruitful racism now blest and approved, thanks to what they heard as a clear proclamation of a universal, limitless pseudo-doctrine of mercy as trumping all other divine attributes. Even those who advocated for, promoted, or silently acquiesced in the murder of tens of millions of babies happily joined in Holy Communion, smiling and satisfied that they were experiencing the joy of love, rather than receiving the Body and the Blood of Christ to their condemnation.
  3. This mercy was first proclaimed without limit and without exception, as must be any true doctrinal or moral principle. It was then revealed to have limits. This was not a true principle. Not only did this supposed universal mercy not embrace all of those who love and cherish the traditional Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, this mercy was exposed to be the malevolent, masquerading basis for condemning the traditionalists, shunning them, investigating them, harassing them, denying them the sacraments, persecuting them, and exiling them.
  4. Fettered by a false, excluding and divisive liturgodoxy, some declaimed, even in shrill voice, that not only must the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass be said in different languages, with the inevitable differences in meaning and significance flowing from such a babel of theological cacophony, but that those are to be condemned who would utter a word in support of a universal Mass, a Mass as the sign of not only the worldwide unity, but also of the heavenly unity of all the faithful. Inevitably, what were called “translations” were used surreptitiously, yet intentionally, in an effort to change immutable dogma, doctrine, and teaching via a new and deceptive lex credendi based on an artificial and false lex orandi.
  5. It was heard, from the man who wore papal white before and those with him in their demigod efforts to bring into being a new reality by their words alone, that the sinners said to be exonerated without repentance, without amendment of their lives, in essence were not free to choose, that what previously had been grievous sin for them was virtue,  and they were as they are, really are, because God made them that way. Implicitly it was proclaimed to them to rejoice, that God made them to commit sin.
  6. The man who wore papal white before and those who were with him said the loving all-powerful God made the adulterers, fornicators, racists, and abortionists to sin, made them as they are; but He most certainly did not make traditionalists as they are.  They said all heretofore “irregular situations” were  regular, but traditionalism was declared to be the one “irregular situation” that remained irregular, and that it could not be countenanced within the forgiving glow of an all-inclusive, diverse, accepting newly-explained mystical body. Universal mercy was not universal. Traditionalists chose freely and wickedly to sin.  This was grievous sin and the gates of hell which were closed to all other sinners were flung wide open for these who dared to begin the Mass with the words, “In nomine Patris . . .” Instead of multiple levels of suffering and horror in hell, there was only one level and it was populated solely by those who loved and cherished the traditional Latin Mass. No such person was made this way by God. No such person was to be shepherded or treated with pastoral care. No such sinner was to be incorporated into the life of the church community. No such sinner was to rejoice in a joyful, fruitful sin. These sheep were to be summarily turned out alone into the wilderness.
  1. Following my valid election, the world’s bishops were invited to comment on this state of affairs. They were also invited to assess the centuries-old sign of unity for all the world, the traditional Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. As they have agreed in the past when presented with such a question, the bishops have now assured us, each of them after invoking the light of the Holy Spirit and having been inspired by that same Spirit, that the path to this sign of worldwide unity is present in the representation of the doctrinal matter we discuss herein. This ecclesial episcopal agreement is always refreshing and reinvigorating to the Church. It comes as no surprise, that we, enlightened by the same Spirit, now express our concordance with what they, the shepherds of the faithful, have previously and independently come to know, to believe, to convey to us, and to fearlessly assert. My fellow bishops, the world’s spiritual shepherds, in their episcopal love, care, and unity, have found the way for all to participate together in the ecclesial communities around the world.
  2. We must and we will help, shepherd, and pastorally care for  those persecuted in the past who loved and cherished the traditional Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I offer and Jesus’s Church declares and offers them a sincere, complete, unconditional, and profound apology for all that has been done to them.
  1. A pastoral approach towards spreading this ages-old sign of unity will further our Church’s responsibility for helping the faithful understand the pedagogy of grace in everyone’s life, grace invigorated and enlivened within the Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. This unity will show the faithful that everyone can reach the fullness of God’s plan for them, something which is always possible. My fellow shepherds have urged me to insure that those who love and cherish the Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are in future fully integrated into Catholic parishes, dioceses, and communities in the wide variety of ways possible, while avoiding any occasion of judgment so that all the faithful worldwide will know they are engaged in and experiencing a joyful, fruitful, unified ecclesial experience.
  2. We urge all bishops to have a Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass said in every parish at least once each Sunday between the hours of 9am and 12 noon, local time. We urge that this be a solemn high mass as a pastor may choose, and on the Church’s high holy days and days of obligation. The loving reverence of that first Christmas before the Christ Child asleep in the manger, not the effusive self-adulation of a solipsistic theatrical performance, will again be evident in parishes and communities worldwide.
  3. We urge all bishops to again incorporate the learning of Latin into their seminary curriculums; to encourage parish-level and diocesan-level education of all the lay faithful in the Latin language; and to nourish in all the faithful a full understanding of the Mass of the Ages.
  4. All forms of denigration; investigation – overt and surreptitious, clerical and lay; harassment; exclusion; sacramental denial; and persecution, up until recently practiced and engaged in by some clergy and laity against those who love and cherish the traditional Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, are to be abandoned, abolished, and anathematized, totally, without exception, and entirely.

God bless us, everyone.

Is Mandate “Newsom Losing Recall Vote by Double Digits” because “[Anti-Mandate] Blacks and Hispanics… have the Lowest Rates of Covid—9 Vaccination”?

The liberal California SF Gate website reported “Shock poll shows Gavin Newsom losing recall vote by double digits”:

Just prior to the start of the first televised debate in the Gavin Newsom recall election Wednesday evening, a shock poll showed the governor losing the first question (“Should Gavin Newsom be recalled?”) by double digits.

The poll came from Survey USA and the San Diego Union Tribune, and was conducted among 1,100 Californians from Aug. 2 to Aug. 4. It found that 51% of respondents were in favor of recalling Newsom, while only 40% wanted to keep him in power. The previous Survey USA/San Diego Union Tribune poll from May found 36% in favor of the recall with 47% opposed. [ttps://www.sfgate.com/gavin-newsom-recall/article/poll-Gavin-Newsom-recall-losing-Elder-Paffrath-16364991.php?utm_campaign=CMS Sharing Tools (Mobile)&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral]

Moreover, the liberal California website thought the reason may be the California “mask mandates”:

What happened in two weeks’ time that sent Newsom from an uncomfortable, but somewhat stable five percentage point advantage to a much more precarious two percentage point advantage? There’s a good chance it’s just noise (the poll’s margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points), but if you’re looking for a real-life event that could have shifted public opinion, such an event does exist.

The end-of-July news cycle was dominated by coverage of the spread of the delta variant of COVID-19, and 50% of California’s population is now under an indoor mask mandate.

In the Bay Area and Sacramento, some vaccinated residents have spoken out against the new mandates, and it’s definitely possible (if not very likely) there’s even more opposition to the measures that individuals would rather keep to themselves so as not to get labeled anti-mask.

Newsom himself did not issue any mask mandates, as the California Department of Public Health recommends, but does not require, indoor masks. That change in statewide guidance was accompanied by the governor stating that he supports counties that choose to implement mandates, so the governor can technically be linked to the new mask mandates. [https://www.sfgate.com/gavin-newsom-recall/article/Poll-recall-Gavin-Newsom-Larry-Elder-mask-mandate-16360329.php]

Might Newsom be losing not just because of the mask mandates, but because of the vaccine mandates?

Conservative scholar Dinesh D’Souza reported that “Blacks and Hispanics… have the lowest rates of Covid—9 vaccination”:Dinesh D’Souza@DineshDSouza

Which groups are not taking the #vaccines? Blacks and Hispanics. They have the lowest rates of Covid—9 vaccination. But the media pretends like the real culprits are Trump voters. Could this be because it’s easier to chastise and revile Trump voters than blacks and Hispanics? [https://twitter.com/DineshDSouza/status/1424094749393182720]

Stop for a moment of silence, ask Jesus Christ what He wants you to do now and next. In this silence remember God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Three Divine Persons yet One God, has an ordered universe where you can know truth and falsehood as well as never forget that He wants you to have eternal happiness with Him as his son or daughter by grace. Make this a practice. By doing this you are doing more good than reading anything here or anywhere else on the Internet.

Francis Notes:

– Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:

“[T]he Pope… WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.”
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

Saint Robert Bellarmine, also, said “the Pope heretic is not deposed ipso facto, but must be declared deposed by the Church.”

“Francis’ heterodoxy is now official. He has published his letter to the Argentina bishops in Acta Apostlica Series making those letters magisterial documents.”

Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church by the bishops by the grace of God.

Pray an Our Father now for the grace to know God’s Will and to do it. SHARESHARECommentssaid…Aqua Larry Elder will run intellectual circles around Gavin.Larry Elder is one of those men who possesses the light of wisdom – which expresses itself as genuine kindness to others on a personal level and correct answers, with reasons, for every question of policy. Wise men are much preferable to “smart” men. Wisdom is of God. Knowledge is of Satan. God populates His Kingdom with those who became like “little children” (Matt 19:14). Satan’s kingdom is filled with proud, powerful (and deceitful) smart men and women. In our modern world of scientism we value knowledge (credentials, education, IQ) over wisdom (common sense). Most people don’t even know what wisdom even means. But Catholics know that wisdom was the first of God’s creations, which existed outside of time before the world, and that in which He take most delight, on earth now as in heaven. Wisdom was most personified in the Blessed Mother, Full Of Grace. Wisdom does not reference human hierarchy, privilege and rank. Usually those with the least (stuff) … have the most (wisdom). And so we will have Gavin vs Larry and Larry is going to take Gavin to the woodshed. Gavin represents knowledge, power, privilege, deceit. Larry represents wisdom, kindness, common sense.People are paying close attention now, and empty platitudes won’t cut it for oil’ Gavin, which is his specialty, because no matter what our politics were before we all see now that we are losing everything to people like Gavin who are taking everything that is ours and putting it into his personal portfolio of stuff and spending it on soirées at fancy restaurants and extensive landholdings and personal stuff. And he will have to defend his theft against a nice, kind man who knows deep truth and is willing to use it in defense of the common man against tyrants like Gavin.Larry will put Gavin’s empty words and spiritual sanctimony to the test.

Why are New 1P5 Editor Timothy Flanders & Taylor Marshall Sitting on the Fence on “a Canonical Trail and Investigation” of the Validity of the Francis Conclave and Pope Benedict Resignation?

I’m happy to share with you that Timothy Flanders has been named the editor of OnePeterFive, effective today. – Eric Sammons [https://onepeterfive.com/announcement-new-1p5-editor/]

– Bishop Gracida is against the coronavirus hysteria and is strongly against Amoris Laetitia’s pushing of Communion for adulterers and as his co-host on the Taylor Marshall podcast Timothy Flanders said today Gracida says “there needs to be a canonical trial and investigation[1:15:12-1:15:30]” on the validity of the Francis conclave and Pope Benedict XVI resignation.  This apparently goes against the Opus Dei narratives which it is possible is the reason Marshall feels the need to oppose passively by sitting on the fence on the virus hysteria as well as on “a canonical trail and investigation” of the validity of the Francis conclave and Pope Benedict XVI resignation. – Catholic MonitorSo, why are the new One Peter Five editor Timothy Flanders and Taylor Marshall apparently still sitting on the fence on “a canonical trail and investigation” of the validity of the Francis conclave and Pope Benedict XVI resignation?
Maybe the answer is in this Catholic Monitor flashback from May 11, 2020:

The Spanish website called Sin Miedo de al “Opus Dei” which translates in English to Without Fear of “Opus Dei” stated in Spain that the leftist media and apparently the Opus Dei “conservative” media have united to push the coronavirus hysteria:

“[T]here is not a single Spanish media in which there is a dissident voice… No one dares move a finger or open their mouths to say that there is something strange in so much quarantine and interruption of activity [by lockdowns].”
(Sinmiedoalopusdei, “Architecture of Oppression,” April 11, 2020)

Why is the supposedly conservative Opus Dei media in Spain according to this Spanish website pushing a narrative that is destroying the country’s political freedom, economy and banning the Mass?

Taylor Marshall who is against the banning of the Mass apparently is sitting on the fence on pushing strongly against on the Opus Dei coronavirus hysteria narrative (promoted in the Spanish Catholic media and by his former employer which are controlled by Opus Dei) which Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano calls “the Media’s alarmism.”

Is it possible that Marshall’s connections to Opus Dei are why he is sitting on the fence, that is he lacks courage and decisiveness to choose sides, and is not strong in condemning the coronavirus hysteria and it’s “Media’s alarmism” which are causing the unconstitutional totalitarian lockdowns?

Marshall is so devoted to Opus Dei that he worked for their Catholic Information Center in Washington D.C. and named his son partly after the founder of the organization:

“Here is my son on the way home from the hospital today. He shall be baptized, Jude Ambrose Josemaria Marshall.”

“Jude because I prayed a novena (a nine day prayer) through St Jude that I might find a job. On the ninth day of that novena I was offered my current position in Washington DC…. “

“… Josemaria after St Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei. I have gained a deep devotion to this holy man and his writings. I attend daily Mass at the St Josemaria Chapel (at the Catholic Information Center) and my boss (and father and friend) is a priest of Opus Dei. Also, my son was born on June 26, the feast day of St Josemaria.” [https://web.archive.org/web/20130506164425/http://www.taylormarshall.com/2006/06/my-new-son-jude-ambrose-josemaria.html]

It appears that he continued his devotion to Opus Dei even after he stopped working for them:

Dr. Taylor Marshall

April 8, 2014 ·
“I’m about to go to the Dallas Opus Dei recollection. Anyone else going tonight?” [https://www.facebook.com/DrTaylorMarshall/posts/im-about-to-go-to-the-dallas-opus-dei-recollection-anyone-else-going-tonight/415362745267756/]
Opus Dei is not just promoting the coronavirus hysteria, but is strongly supportive of Francis and even Amoris Laetitia.

Might Marshall’s connections to Opus Dei explain why he is so strongly against Archbishop Vigano including Bishop Rene Gracida in his anti-coronavirus hysteria petition to end the unconstitutional tyrannical lockdowns?
Bishop Gracida is against the coronavirus hysteria and is strongly against Amoris Laetitia’s pushing of Communion for adulterers and as his co-host on the Taylor Marshall podcast Timothy Flanders said today Gracida says “there needs to be a canonical trial and investigation[1:15:12-1:15:30]” on the validity of the Francis conclave and Pope Benedict XVI resignation.
This apparently goes against the Opus Dei narratives which it is possible is the reason that Marshall feels the need to oppose passively by sitting on the fence on the virus hysteria as well as on “a canonical trail and investigation” of the validity of the Francis conclave and Pope Benedict XVI resignation.
Marshall speaking against Bishop Garcida’s position, that “a canonical trial and investigation” of the validity of the Francis conclave and Pope Benedict XVI resignation is needed, said:
“I am a little concern that the [Vigano petition] movement can spin that way [towards Bishop Garcida’s position that “a canonical trial and investigation” is needed] and break apart. That is a concern I have.” (1:40- 1:40:16) [https://youtu.be/qUXK2I3G9Z8

Simone Biles’ Hidden Identity
August 9, 2021
Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on how the media covered Simone Biles’ religion:
Everyone knows that Simone Biles may be the greatest gymnast of all time, and everyone knows she is black. But few know she is Catholic. Why is that?
The Catholic media mentioned her religious affiliation but the big media did not.
The following newspapers made no mention of her Catholic faith: New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune and the Atlanta Journal Constitution. The Associated Press also failed to cite her Catholicity.
The following TV networks failed to mention her Catholic religion: ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and PBS.
In her autobiography, Courage to Soar, Biles mentions the role her religion has played in her life and how it has helped her during times of adversity. She has spoken eloquently about her Confirmation experience, and why she chose St. Sebastian, the patron saint of athletes, as her confirmation name. She occasionally carries a statue of St. Sebastian and often carries her white rosary in her gym bag.
So why the blackout? The media constantly tell us that President Biden carries a rosary, so why the reticence when it comes to Biles?
Politics explains why. Biden’s policies are at war with the teachings of the Catholic Church, alienating many Catholics, including the bishops. But the media want him to succeed, and their way of rescuing his religious status is to flag his rosary story.
The situation with Biles is different. Having experienced mental stress at the Olympic games, forcing her to withdraw from a few events, some in the media exploited her racial status with tales of victimhood. None was more melodramatic than Politico.
“Biles is part of a new, more subtle chapter of Black activism that is elevating personal reflection and self-care over the emotional stoicism and reliance that has long been a feature of Black struggle, and of Black success.” Those words of wisdom belong to Erin Aubry Kaplan, an opinion writer for the New York Times. Simply because Biles was stressed out was enough to prove that she has earned a place in the Black Struggle Hall of Fame.
The way the media frame things, to be black is to be a victim; to be a Catholic is to be a victimizer. Therefore citing Biles’ religious affiliation gets in the way of their narrative, which is to cast her as a member of the oppressed class.
All men and women share multiple status identities, and many have a master status. When it comes to public persons, however, the media are not interested in how they identify themselves—they do it for them. In the case of Biles, she is a black female. End of story. No other identities are allowed.
Such is the sad state of identity politics these days.

Hello RENE HENRY GRACIDA,

So, are these the end times? If so, God will soon make it clear. If not, we are at war for the very survival of our faith, families, and homeland.

Either way, this is no time to circle the wagons. We need to go on offense!
In my new Editor’s Desk, I focus on the strategic approach which appeals not just to traditional Catholics but to millions of Godfearing patriots of every Christian denomination, Jews, Muslims…. anyone who’s still sane.

I’m speaking of those who are vehemently opposed to government-mandated vaccinations, whether the vaccines are safe or not. Dr. Fauci is now predicting a “flood of Covid vaccine mandates” after FDA approval of the vaccine.

The silent majority that oppose forced vaccination are not necessarily anti-vax, they’re certainly not “anti-science,” and in fact not a few of them have been vaccinated.

These people absolutely agree with us, however, that in a free society no government can force ANYONE to get vaccinated, regardless of vaccine safety or morality.

As I discuss in my new video, the reason Gates, Schwab, Biden, Fauci et al want to vaccinate the world is because they are globalists who want to implement a global vaccination passport system, which obviously will require a global governing body.

See where this is going? This is about national sovereignty… not science! Hello Global Passports, goodbye U.S. Constitution! No more Bill of Rights, no more civil liberties, no more law of the land. We will be forced to obey the law of globalism.

See why the Soros-backed “protestors” are burning our flag?

The good news? Hundreds of millions – including powerful politicians – oppose Vaccination Passports. For them, this is not a question of science but rather of tyranny.

What can we do to stop the tyranny? A lot! We have so much more power than we realize. Joe Biden and the Lunatics of Davos are no match for a hundred million ticked off patriots.

So let’s STOP THE FEAR!

Watch this video. Like it and share it too!

We’re not backing down. The war is on. To hell with globalism!

In Christo Rege,
Michael J. Matt

An Angel of the Lord

August 7, 2021

Evil acts sent ripples throughout the world,

And men shivered and turned up their collars,

Because the ripples were like a cruel wind that chilled the soul

Even on the hottest day.

And some men moved instinctively closer to the light,

While others remained in place, bracing for the winter,

Never questioning why this chill had no respect for summer.

And when this evil that rippled throughout the world

Began to obscure the light,

Men gave a sigh, and questioned not their plight as the darkness grew.

But there were a few, a very few,

Who fought to erect barriers against the evil

That rippled across the land.

For they were those who had dwelled closest to the light,

And they could not acclimate to the winter.

Therefore, they fought until they could fight no more.

Then did other men begin to realize that the evil was receding,

Because the slain bodies of these few blocked its advance.

And the winter began to wane, and the flowers blossomed

In the light of the summer.”
