When we go to Mass, we are brought into the presence of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross which took place at Calvary two thousand years ago. The Apostolate for Family Consecration gives some more overview of what the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is:

The Holy Mass is the sacrifice by which the Church not only remembers Jesus Christ, but really brings Him, His saving Death, and His Resurrection into the present, so that His followers might become part of it. The Church can do this because Jesus is united to His Church in the Holy Spirit. When the Catholic Church celebrates the Eucharist, Jesus is truly there, and it is He Who does once more what He did at the Last Supper.

At the Last Supper, our Lord instituted the Eucharistic Sacrifice of His Body and Blood, to continue for all time by His sacrifice of the Cross until He would come again. In the Mass, Jesus gave His Church a remembrance of His Death and Resurrection, which is a true sacrifice. In the name of the whole Church, the priest offers the Sacrifice of Jesus in an unbloody and sacramental manner in the Holy Eucharist. The priest, acting in the Person of Christ, brings about the Eucharistic Sacrifice and offers it to the Father in the name of all the people.

The Mass is a prayer to the Father, in which we give Him thanks and praise for the merciful redemption He has offered us in His Son, Jesus Christ. We also ask forgiveness for our sins and beg the Father’s blessing upon ourselves and our fellowman.

The Mass is a sacrifice because it makes present our Lord’s own offering of Himself to His Father, on the Cross. When we participate in the Mass, in memory of Him, we enter into that offering and become a part of it.

The Mass also makes present to us Jesus’ Resurrection because His sacrifice establishes a bond of friendship and love between the Father and His children. Just as we share in Jesus’ Death at Mass, so we also share in the new life of the Spirit which was bestowed upon Jesus in His Resurrection.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is very important because it brings together all of the gifts which the Father has given us in Jesus Christ. It brings into our lives the very presence of our Lord Jesus, His sacrifice on the Cross, and the new life of the Holy Spirit which He opened to us by His Resurrection.       Blessed Holy Week !  (A quick secular matter, before we enter into the solemnity of Our Lord’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection).
      I would imagine that anyone receiving this e-mail is basically “immune” to the sea of endless lies being thrown at us by “mainstream” sources – panicking and desperate to hope that if enough un-truths are put out there, that at least some of it would “stick” (in people’s minds), relative to the Chinese Virus.      As this article shows, the death toll (by lethal injection – with the EGT (Experimental Gene Therapy) shot) in these early months of 2021 is now double all of the other vaccine-caused deaths of the past decade !!!      Just yesterday, at one of the prisons that I’m a chaplain at. the staff chaplain (a Protestant woman) who had sadly “drunk the kool-aid” and gotten her injection, looked like “death warmed-over”, and had already had lost some work days, to recover.      All of this for just another virus, with a 99.4 % recovery rate . . .

I recommend you take time to read this information below my introduction.  Ron Panzer was very involved in trying to save Terri Schiavo who was killed by palliative medicine.   
Ron was also involved here in North Carolina to help us stop a bill in 2003 (S145) called “Physician Assisted-Suicide”.  It was introduced by pro-life legislators who were coached by the palliative care leaders here in NC.  Something fishy was going on.  We sought to understand.  The trail we were on has led us to a better grasp of the COVID agenda.  It turns out that palliative medicine as defined by the globalists at the World Health Organization and here in the US by the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) and the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) will be part of healthcare in a One World Order after the Great Reset!!!  
Back to the bill that Ron and I worked on.  It had 4 safe harbor exceptions that would have legalized many kinds of hastened death.  The bill was advertised to make physician assisted suicide illegal but the devil was in the four “safe harbor” exceptions.  One had to do with suicide ideation and one said it would not be illegal to carry out whatever instructions there might be in a person’s living will.  Two other exceptions revealed to me the evils of palliative medicine.  Let me just tell you what they were.  You could not be prosecuted for assisted suicide for 1) withdrawing and withholding life-sustaining procedure or compliance with any other State or federal law authorizing withdrawal or refusal of medical treatment or procedures, and 2) for administering, prescribing or dispensing of medications or procedures for the purpose of alleviating pain even if that may increase the risk of death as long as the INTENT (my emphasis) was not to hasten death.   
We at LifeTree worked side by side with Ron to stop this bill.  Ron dedicated much of his time to help us although he lived in a far off state.  Through the grace of God, S145 failed to pass but similar phony bans on Assisted Suicide were enacted in other states during this time period.  And yes, you may be interested to know that the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)’s Pro Life Secretariat’s office was involved.  They were on the phone to NC legislators!  Definitely, they expressed their support for S145 back in 2003.  
Through the grace of God this bill has never passed in North Carolina although it has been introduced again more than once.  Unfortunately the pro-life community has been supportive of it every time the bill was introduced.
Because of this bill LifeTree became more curious about end of life issues.  We discovered much of what now appears on our website at www.lifetree.org/timeline/There is a subtle wing of the euthanasia movement closely aligned with the new subspecialty of medicine known as palliative medicine or palliative care.  So, in addition to hospice,  I would warn you all that the palliative care team is called into a case for one reason — to hasten death.  The palliative professional (physiciam, nurse, social worker, chaplain ..) learns how to coax the patient/family into limiting good medical treatment.  
To repeat, this wing of the death control movemeent is built into medicine now.  It is the low profile wing of the euthanasia movement or the Third Path Movement to bring about legalized, hastened death.  Again, I refer you to www.lifetree.org.  This is not the radical wing of euthanasia that advocates for assisted suicide using barbiturates.  This is the moderate wing that still lives under the radar and uses palliative care as their vehicle.  Read the introduction to the timeline for more information.

COVID Vaccine Passports?

Team Biden-Harris ponders a vaccine passport for travel, while Florida’s governor pledges to protect residents’ privacy.

Will Americans need COVID-19 vaccine passports in order to travel?
The Biden-Harris administration is reportedly looking into creating such vaccine-related credentials for travel, most specifically regarding airline travel. According to reports, the airline industry has been lobbying the White House to come up with some kind of health form verification in order to end both traveler confusion and lift current travel restrictions.
Working with technology and travel companies, the Department of Health and Human Services has taken the lead in “coordinating government agencies involved in the work, led by coronavirus coordinator Jeff Zients.” Zients explained, “Our role is to help ensure that any solutions in this area should be simple, free, open source, accessible to people both digitally and on paper, and designed from the start to protect people’s privacy.”
The obvious problem with a vaccine passport is that it creates yet more government intrusion into our private lives. Furthermore, it opens up Pandora’s box for potential legalized medical-based discrimination.
While the White House is actively considering some form of vaccine passport program, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis pledged to do just the opposite, promising on Monday to take executive action to prohibit vaccine passports.
DeSantis explained his position: “We’ve always said we want to provide [the COVID vaccine] for all but mandate it for none. Now, with something that while it was advised to take, particularly if you’re vulnerable, we were not going to force you to do it. So, there was never under discussion any mandates to take vaccines. … The flip side of that, though, with these vaccine passports, it’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society. … So, we’re not supportive of that. I think it’s something that people have certain freedoms and individual liberties to make decisions for themselves.”
DeSantis also signed into law legislation that protects business from being held liable for COVID-19. “We don’t want to be in a situation where people are scared of being sued, just for doing normal things,” he contended. “And so, we worked very early on to look at to see ways that we could provide some certainty for both businesses, and healthcare providers. This was obviously a top priority for many of us up here. And I think that the legislature has been able to deliver today.”
The simple fact is the loss of privacy leads directly to a loss of individual freedom. The excuse being made today for needing a vaccine travel passport for COVID is to ensure safety, but it will quite likely be expanded to include other medical conditions. As more folks are vaccinated and as our country and the world gets closer to herd immunity, the current travel restrictions can naturally be relaxed and eliminated. If other countries make demands for entry, they are more than free to do so. But in the U.S., we prize Liberty and protect individual freedom. This attitude should be expressed in our reaction to COVID.

The Supreme Court: Cowards,Crooks, or Compromised? By Andrew W. Coy American Thinker March 31, 2021 They appear to be cowards or crooks or compromised. Cowards, crooks, or compromised seems to be the only way to explain the decision-making of the United States Supreme Court.  The Court’s unwillingness to make any decisions regarding the presidential election of 2020 is a historic failure.  These last twelve months have seen the Court refuse to do its duty.  The Court refused to be a co-equal branch of the federal government. With the Bush v. Gore of 2000, there is legal precedent.  Just twenty short years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court took Bush v. Gore, a presidential election case, so the precedent was there.  Over this last year, the Supreme Court had the opportunity to address election law questions before the election last summer, right before the election, right after the election, and even prior to the inauguration in January.  On all these occasions, the majority of the Supreme Court judges refused to hear any case dealing with the presidential election. They stuck their heads in the sand and acted as if they had no role. One could argue, successfully, that January 6 on the Washington Mall happened because of the lack of integrity and guts in the Supreme Court.  Because of their blatant disassociation with being a coequal branch with the presidency and Congress, the Court has lost enormous respect from half of America.  This is dangerous to a democratic republic.  One must ask, why would they be willing to do this?  Are they cowards, crooks, compromised, or something else?   Can these be the only answers to this seemingly impotent Supreme Court? Are the Supreme Court members simply cowards?  Did they get scared so much by the violence last summer, that they felt for their own and their family members’ safety?  Did the violence, looting, burning, assaults, and even deaths that occurred during the Antifa and BLM insurrections last summer simply scare individual members of the Court?  Were they simply frightened from hearing any cases dealing with the 2020 presidential election?  Did they not want BLM/Antifa showing up as a mob on their front doorsteps in Georgetown?  Did they not want Deep State operatives casing their children’s or grandchildren’s school or college?  These mobs have done this before, so there is a precedent.  Mobs showed up at Tucker Carlson’s home last summer when Tucker was on the air and forced Tucker’s wife to hide in the closet until police arrived.  It has been reported that Chief Justice Roberts even referred to the violence last summer as a reason for not accepting cases involving the 2020 election.  Whether these reports were accurate, we don’t know.  So maybe as individuals, parents, and grandparents, the majority of the Court did not want to hear any election cases based solely on fear.  Were they frightened from doing their constitutional duty?   Are the majority of the Supreme Court just obviously crooks?  Are they taking bribes from Deep State operatives?  Are they getting kickbacks or financial gain from Progressive billionaires by refusing to hear legitimate election questions?  This one seems the most doubtful…I hope.  However, we have learned so many awful things in the last six years, and especially during Trump’s presidency, that nothing should surprise us anymore.  The Progressive movement along with the Deep State criminals in D.C. has shocked us with how far it will go against their political enemies.  Progressives, unlike RINOs,  know that it is a political war, and they fight to win.  From the five to six purple battleground states, there were obviously enough questions, doubts, and sworn witnesses to at least hear the evidence in the cases.  There was so much smoke out there in terms of possible election irregularities that the Supreme Court had ample reason and cause to see if there was in fact a roaring blaze.  But yet a majority of the Court refused to hear it.  Was crookedness the reason?  Why did they stick their heads in the sand? Were members of the Supreme Court being compromised?  Were they being blackmailed?  Did the Progressive movement and Deep State figures have “the goods” on enough justices?  This one is interesting and not so far-fetched.  Roberts did flip his vote on Obamacare at the last minute, which allowed Obamacare to become law by a 5-4 vote.  Maybe enough justices got caught doing the wrong thing that they just could not act according to their legal conscience but had to cave to compromise.  Possibly it was not the justices’ behavior at all, but their children’s or grandchildren’s.  If one of the justices has a son or grandson whose behavior resembles that of Hunter Biden, that could become a blackmailable issue.  We just don’t know.  But something must explain why at least six justices on the Supreme Court refused to even hear the plethora of evidence.  Only four justices are needed for a case to come before them, and a question about presidential election laws was not important enough for the Court to hear it?  Very doubtful.  Just does not pass the constitutional smell test.    Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch wanted to hear the cases concerning presidential election integrity.  They especially wanted to hear cases involving state election laws being overridden by Democrat D.C. lawyers and Deep State operatives.  An example of this was Pennsylvania.  State legislatures decide state election laws; they cannot be overridden by outside lobbyists and people who intimate from the D.C. Beltway.  But there must be four members of the Court who want to hear the case.  Even Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett refused to hear the evidence. President Trump and MAGA nation were shocked by Kavanaugh’s and Barrett’s silence.  Kavanaugh and Barrett appear to have been “frozen” at the free-throw line.  It is noteworthy to mention that Kavanaugh and Barrett have the youngest children, and maybe they were frightened for their safety.  Maybe.  It is just so extremely odd that this multitude of legitimate cases from this multitude of battleground states with this multitude of evidence did not get enough Supreme Court members even to want to see what happened.  They should, if for no other reason than to correct it so it will not happen again in 2022 or 2024. Maybe the Supreme Court was worried what the evidence might show, and therefore that they might have to make a tough decision.  And maybe they knew that half of America, along with the Progressives, and the Deep State in D.C., would simply ignore their verdict.  Maybe they were worried that if they had to make a historic decision, the decision would be ignored.  So they decided it best to do nothing.   Maybe. This is not as much an indictment of a political party, a business, the Progressives, or the Deep State.  It is the Supreme Court that ultimately failed in a historic way.  Why the justices failed, we just do not know at this time. History and historians will in the future write whether the Court’s lack of decision-making and lack of courage were as bad as the Dred Scott and Korematsu decisions.  History will decide, but only if those historians are balanced and fair-minded.  Those decisions ruined the Court’s credibility for a long time and even created future events that were far worse.  Only time will tell if it will again be that disastrous.   But over half of the 50 individual states are now rewriting state election laws so the 2020 election abuses will not happen again.  The state of Georgia has already signed its own rewrite into law.  States such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, and Wisconsin are soon to follow. There will certainly be court challenges to these impending state laws that tighten up election procedures so fraud will not happen…again.  Without question, without uncertainty, these upcoming cases (especially in the purple battleground states) will once again end up in the lap of the United States Supreme Court.  Justice Thomas said this would happen, and it has happened. Nobility and courage will shine the next time the Supreme Court gets a chance to do the right thing by at least hearing the evidence — at the very least, reviewing the evidence.  If they refuse once again, things will get even worse — for half of the American population and most certainly worse for the credibility of the United States Supreme Court. Shock, Disgust as Reporters Finally See Migrant Conditions

CV NEWS FEED // Many are expressing disgust and anger at the Biden administration after a pool of journalists were finally allowed to tour and report on a migrant facility in Texas Tuesday.

“Reporters toured the temporary border facility in Donna, TX today,” reported CBS’s Nicole Sganga on Twitter. “The Biden admin allowed pooled coverage for the first time. We saw a ‘pod’ designed for 32 migrant children under CDC guidelines now holding 615. The facility is at 1700% pandemic capacity.”

In a series of tweets, Sganga went on to reveal that the conditions in which migrants — including children — are being held are far more inhumane than the Biden administration would have the public believe.

Officials are keeping unaccompanied children as young as four months old in a “recreational area” day and night, Sganga reported, “because there’s no just room for them in the dormitory areas.”

Over 2,000 migrants “have been here for over the legal limit of 72 hours,” Sganga wrote, referring only to the one temporary processing facility she visited. Officials said that “more than 1200 migrants are processed and waiting to be transferred to HHS facilities,” she added, but “HHS has nowhere to put them.”

A U.S. Customs and Border Patrol official told reporters that the agency expects over one million “encounters” of migrants at the Southern border this year.

Sganga also reported that the facility is operating more than 250% over budget. “It should cost $6 million per month for @CBP to run the facility at its 250-person capacity. It’s so overcrowded that it costs $16 million per month.”

Biden Administration Under Scrutiny

The reports from the temporary facility in Donna, TX elicited strong condemnations from many. The inevitable public backlash will likely focus itself not only on the ground-level management and conditions of migrant facilities, but also on the White House and the Democrat Party.

“THIS is a humanitarian disaster, Dems, and you know it!” tweeted Buzz Patterson, a Republican. “Speak up and speak out!”
