THE CHICKENS (VULTURES) ARE COMING HOME TO ROOST IN RED CHINA. FEEL SORRY FOR THE POOR PEOPLE OF RED CHINA, BUT NOT FOR THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY

Economic slump: The ‘China Dream’ shattered BY: JIANLI YANG AND LIANCHAO HANJuly 15, 2020
This year, for the first time since 1990, China did not announce a GDP growth target during the annual National People’s Congress in May. Prior to that, China’s National Bureau of Statistics announced on April 17 that the country’s economy had recorded a 6.8 percent contraction in the first quarter of 2020. It was the first time since 1976 that China acknowledged economic shrinkage.
China’s extraordinary growth for nearly a half-century has ended because of the COVID-19 pandemic, right? No, that’s not entirely correct.
The fact is that the fiscal condition of the world’s second-largest economy was in dire straits even before the pandemic struck. The novel coronavirus only made it worse. The glitz and the swank that the ruling Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) propaganda machinery portrayed to the outside world was hollow and China’s economic superpower image was an illusion. In reality, the economy has been one of China’s major fault lines for some years now.
China’s GDP recorded impressive growth rates from 2003, peaking in 2007 at 14.2 percent, but since has been sliding downward. It stood at 6.6 percent in 2018, and the 6.1 percent of 2019 marked the slowest pace of growth since 1990. The reasons for this sluggishness are structural issues that have been building for years — including over-investment, low industrial productivity, high debt, modest consumer spending and demographic changes.
In the 1990s and early 2000s, China was building wealth in a way that was appropriate then. Factories that produced competitive products mushroomed, and miles of bridges and roads connecting cities and towns were built. These investments created job and income opportunities for the people, while expanding the productive capacity of the economy. Even now China is trying to build wealth, albeit the wrong way. It is pursuing investments that do not raise the country’s productive capacity or growth potential. It is building bridges and roads to nowhere. Productivity has dropped consistently over the past decade.
In addition to overspending on infrastructure, China is boosting consumer and industrial spending by expanding available credit. The country has been piling up massive amounts of debt — by consumers and local governments in particular. In 2019, China’s total corporate, household and government debt rose to US $40 trillion — around 300 percent of its GDP. It is an irony that the country that has been laying debt traps for smaller countries itself is under such massive debt.
How would China repay its debt? An effective means would be to move from investment-led growth to consumption-led growth. But is that even feasible, considering the unemployment rate and declining purchasing power of the people of China?
As the Chinese economy was going downhill, many industries and businesses closed, leading to massive layoffs and stunted wage growth. In mid-2019, the urban unemployment rate stood at 5.3 percent, the highest in two years. And in the post-COVID-19 scenario it has become worse, edging to unprecedented highs.
Consequently, the consumption capacity of the domestic Chinese market has been falling. A classic example is car sales, which were accustomed to a double-digit annual growth rate and accounted for 5 percent of China’s economic output. Car sales started slumping in 2018, along with real estate, indicating a fall in people’s purchasing power. Massive income disparity between the rich coastal areas and the country’s interior adds to the woes.
Premier Li Keqiang recently acknowledged that more than 600 million people in China have monthly income of barely US $140 — not enough to rent even a room in Chinese cities. If the leader of a communist state, which always strives to cover its flaws and shortcomings, makes such an admission, we can safely presume that the real situation is much more grim.
China’s demographics do not favor economic growth. The working-age population has been shrinking since around 2012 — an inevitable result of the one-child policy enacted in 1979. Estimates suggest that retirees could account for more than 40 percent of China’s population by 2050. That aging population will test the CCP’s ability to provide for its people.
The GDP growth target has been an indicator of the CCP’s economic confidence. Its absence this year is a clear signal that the economic environment is the most challenging that China has faced in decades. The key to the communist regime’s legitimacy is the guarantee of quality of life, employment and stability. This year was meant to be a pivotal part of Xi Jinping’s “China Dream” grand plan — the year of realizing a well-to-do society for all of China. By 2020 China had targeted to eliminate absolute poverty and raise the living standard of its people.
But it appears the Dream has shattered — not just for Xi, but for billions of Chinese people who trust him and his administration’s ambitious plans. The economic crisis that China has experienced for some years now represents a huge failure on part of the CCP. Millions of young people may be deprived of achieving the success and prosperity that their parents’ generation enjoyed. Undoubtedly, they’ll have reasons to question the legitimacy and authority of the CCP leadership, and that poses a challenge to the social stability of the country.

THE CRY “VIVA CHRISTO REY” “Hail Christ the King” still resounds in Mexico

CATHOLIC MONITOR

Mexicans will never allow Francis to replace Our Lady of Guadalupe with his Vatican Pachamama Idols!

Last year, Fr. Hugo Valdermar Romero, former spokeman for Cardinal Rivera Carrera who was the Archbishop of Mexico City from 1995 to 2017, burned replicated cardboard images of the Francis Vatican Pachamama idols.

In a statement translated by Bishop Rene Gracida on his website abyssus.org, Romero explained why he burned the “satanic [Pachamama] idols”:

“[W]e, as, a protest and as a sign of reparation, burn this satanic idol of the Pachamama.”

In 2016, Francis attacked the pro-life and pro-family conservative Cardinal Rivera, whose spokesman at the time was Romero, and the Cardinal’s Archdiocese of Mexico City newspaper responded saying Francis “received ‘bad advice'” according to Wikipedia.

Cardinal Rivera is the backbone of conservative Pope Benedict XVI Catholicism in Mexico. It is very probable that Fr. Romero has the backing of Rivera in rebuking the idolatry of the Francis Vatican.

Under the leadership of Cardinal Rivera over 80 percent of Mexico’s population remained Catholic unlike the destruction of the Catholic faith in Argentina and other Latin American liberal countries influenced by the Francis liberal agenda.

Cardinal Rivera is known to be one of the strongest defenders of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico.

It appears that Our Lady of Guadalupe and her defenders in Mexico are ready to go to war with the Pachamama idol worshipping Francis Vatican.

Francis may have a real Mexican Catholic Cristeros war on his hands which could spread to the rest of Latin America.

Mexicans will never allow Francis to replace Our Lady of Guadalupe with his Vatican Pachamama idols!

Viva Cristo Rey!

Viva Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe!

The war appears to now be:

Our Lady of Guadalupe vs. Francis’s Pachamama idols.

Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Mass and the Church as well as for the Triumph of the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart of the Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  SHARE

We Need More Patriarchy, Not Less

ANTHONY ESOLEN

“The use of Fashions in thought,” says Uncle Screwtape the astute, “is to distract the attention of men from their real dangers.” So, for example:

We direct the fashionable outcry of each generation against those vices of which it is least in danger and fix its approval on the virtue nearest to that vice which we are trying to make endemic. The game is to have them all running about with fire extinguishers whenever there is a flood, and all crowding to that side of the boat which is already nearly gunwale under. Thus we make it fashionable to expose the dangers of enthusiasm at the very moment when they are all really becoming worldly and lukewarm; a century later when we are really making them all Byronic and drunk with emotion, the fashionable outcry is directed against the dangers of the mere “understanding.” Cruel ages are put on their guard against Sentimentality, feckless and idle ones against Respectability, lecherous ones against Puritanism.

I have been thinking about demonic misdirection in recent days, prompted by something that happened at Providence College, my beloved academic home for more than twenty years, then the place where I was a resident alien for five or six more, and for the last three years a sad memory of goodness and beauty lost.

For I read that a young African American man took a can of spray paint and vandalized the small college graveyard where Dominican priests are buried. Some of those priests were friends of mine. There’s Father Coskren, with whom I taught in our Western Civilization program, and who helped settle my mind and heart when I most needed a kindly counselor. The sweet old Father Cochrane gave me a set of books comprehending the whole corpus of Anglo-Saxon literature; they are a few feet away from me as I write. Father McGonigle broke the rules by telling me of my promotion to full professor before the president wrote the letter confirming it. Father Fallon, Father Bond, Father Ertle… they lie there in rows, beside simple and identical headstones. A large stone cross stands in the center. Some of the graves are marked by American flags, for the friars who were soldiers.https://secureaddisplay.com/i/view/js/?Viewable=1&isMobile=0&AULU=31049420180502T2200289306460AB42454C400A8A16937CB3EB93D7&cb=1594831152492&ccvid=863168050&pvid=1781931757https://secureaddisplay.com/i/view/js/?Viewable=0&isMobile=0&AULU=31049420180502T2200289306460AB42454C400A8A16937CB3EB93D7&cb=1594831152492&ccvid=863168050&pvid=1781931757https://secureaddisplay.com/i/t/js/?ALU=8720160227T12243094012F36E90C33A40DDA2C92DA9D3C18452&AULU=31049420180502T2200289306460AB42454C400A8A16937CB3EB93D7&cb=1594831152492&ccvid=863168050&pvid=1781931757

The young man toppled some headstones. He sprayed them red, along with the cross. He sprayed a red swastika on the wall of a nearby building. When a guard tried to defend the graveyard, he smashed him over the head with a hard object—possibly a crack pipe. (The fellow’s Facebook page suggests as much.) Then the guard tried to holler for help, and the man kicked him in the face. His injuries required treatment at the hospital. City police finally caught the culprit hiding on campus. He does have a prior arrest. One night, a couple of years ago, he entered a woman’s home uninvited and crept into bed with her. She woke up the next morning and ran away screaming. Maybe he was high when he did it. He does not appear to have assailed the woman. But desecrating the graveyard is another thing. It bespeaks a cold, brooding malice.

The local reports I have seen do not mention his race. Nor does the letter of the president, Father Brian Shanley, who imputed to him one motive that he probably did not have, and another that he certainly did not have. Shanley decried “anti-Catholic” bigotry and “anti-Semitism.” The latter charge is silly. Clearly, the young man was accusing the friars of hating the Jews. As for the former charge, I doubt he cares about the Catholic Church one way or the other, except insofar as it is “white” and a thing of the “West.” Nobody in our time smashes headstones over whether Mary was or was not conceived without sin.

The story has been picked up on-line by a few Catholic venues and by one secular venue I have seen. Otherwise it has dropped like a pebble into a crevasse. Nicholas Sandmann, the high school student with the frozen smile as he faced a Native American who was harassing him, could have wished for such silence. His “action,” minimal as it was, unleashed a spree of malice from Americans coast to coast, not without fantasies of blood-lust.

Racism—hatred of or contempt for your brothers because of their race—is a vicious sin, and in the United States it has wrought great destruction. That is what sins do. But let us step back from the heat of the moment and take a frank look at the many ways we now bring fire extinguishers to a flood: ignoring our worst sins, or the worst features of our sins, as destruction mounts.

A nation of lost and fatherless boys and drifting young men is terrified that we have too much patriarchy. Why, it reinforces my belief in the existence of demons: unassisted man could never be so blank and stupid as to fear that fathers have too much authority when boys and girls by tens of millions grow up with none at all. Only Beelzebub can explain it.

A nation of fornicators, sodomites, divorcees, pornographers, and users of pornography, a nation of casual obscenity, erupts in wrath against boorish flirting. A nation of cultural amnesia tears down memorials. A nation that murders a million of its children every year is full of benevolent neighbors who have the social workers at your door if they see your child riding a bicycle without a helmet. A nation of the religiously indifferent, ruled by innumerable and anonymous puppet-masters of bureaucracy, suspects a theocrat around every corner.

What of racial hatred? Fifteen percent of new marriages in the United States are interracial. You are more likely to find them in evangelical churches in the south than in secular faculty lounges in the north. We are rapidly becoming an interracial nation; Catholics have from the first been a multiracial and interracial church. That does not mean that relations between the races are good. It does mean that nobody except for a fat unemployed man in Pickens any longer believes that racism in even its blandest forms is justified. Nor does racism sell, as lust, avarice, ambition, and impiety sell. However you define it, people across our political divides want less of it or none of it at all. It defiles, like slime.

But people do not so generally want there to be less obscenity on television or the internet, fewer divorces, fuller churches, more praise for our forebears, more open fields full of children playing without adults around to supervise, less wrath and vindictiveness in the public square, less tale-bearing and calumny, less ingratitude from each sex for the other, and less of that conspicuous worldliness that drives up housing prices and divides the rich from the poor.

Plenty is at work here: a flood, not a house fire. Political hatred is at work. Father Shanley says that “hatred has no place at Providence College.” Indignation is prone to speak unadvisedly. Banish hatred? Good luck with that. Hatred is the principle and the aim of much of our current education. Whole departments are stocked with people who hate what they hate more than they love what they love, if they love at all. Read the mission statements. (This is as true of Providence College now as it is of the secular colleges down the road.) Remove hate and you cut the social sciences in half. You say you want to teach Plato so that some students will come to love Plato? You will be treated as either a liar or a fool.

The vandal has a college education. He has done graduate work in politics at a local college. Did he come by his hatred naturally? I don’t think so. It’s a fashion: hatred in the cause of the future. It liberates you from decency. You forget the humbling calls of piety and gratitude. You scorn the past. You become the sort of person who would wreck a graveyard, magna cum laude, as your teachers cheer, or turn aside and do not say a word. They help to ruin you, but you and not they will do the time. Many are the fingerprints on that spray can.

Might God’s answer to Francis the New Luther be Our Lady of Guadalupe?

On one side of the world in 1531 Luder [Luther] brought two million out of the Church. On the same day, in the same year, on the other side of the world, atop a small hill in Guadalupe, Our Lady appeared to Juan Diego and, because of Her, ten million people were converted to the Faith and brought into the Kingdom within a year. Ten million before Luder [Luther] died. Ten million in one year, between 1531 and 1532. God will not be mocked. Let us learn the story of God’s answer to Martin Luther in Guadalupe.– Rick Salbato

Francis cryptically called Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò the “Great Accuser” which is a name for the devil.

Francis in his fixation with the devil and his foes as well as feces and heresy appears almost to be possessed by the spirit of Martin Luther who never stopped talking about excrement and talking to the devil:

“”Devil, I have just s*** in my trousers. Have you smelled it?”
-Martin Luther
(Queenmobs.com, “Fecal Fridays: Martin Luther on the Toilet,” December 1, 2017)

Luther had continuous visions of the devil and of excrement as all Luther scholars know:

“The filthy language of Luther… a vocabulary of excrement… -against Satan… in his later years the violence and frequent obscenity… directed at his human foes.”
(“Martin Luther,” by Michael A. Mullet, page 338)

Besides the Francis’ fixation on the devil, his foes and feces, it appears that Francis has, also, joined Luther in believing in the heresy of imputed grace justification.

Luther’s image of imputed grace was that man was a pile of dung covered with snow.

Protestant “justification” for him was totally corrupted man being covered by grace and unfree because of his corruption to fulfill the moral law.

The pro-Francis Bishop Robert Barron wrote Martin Luther is “a mystic of grace” and “the religious movement he launched was ‘a love affair.'”

Francis’s love affair with Luther’s justification heresy goes even farther than Barron who said “I disagree with lots of his ideas.”

Francis referring to Luther said:

“Lutherans and Catholics, Protestants, all of us agree on the doctrine of justification. On this point, which is very important, he did not err.” (patheos.com/blog/scotticalt, “Pope Francis is Wrong about Luther and Justification,” April 5, 2017)

Francis and Barron need to explain what part of man being a pile of dung covered with snow (grace) so corrupt that he isn’t free to fulfill the moral law is “not err” and a “love affair” of a “mystic of grace.”

Theologian Dr. E. Christian Brugger and First Thing editor Elliott Milco agree that Francis’s grace/justification teachings in Amoris Laetitia and his Argentine letter apparently are condemned as heretical by the Council of Trent.

Milco in his article “Francis’s Argentine Letter And The Proper Response” counters Francis’s idea of grace with the infallible Catholic teaching which says:

Trent’s doctrine of infused grace said “that graces truly sanctify and liberates, and that baptized Christians are always free to fulfill the moral law, even when they fail to do so.”

Has Francis by apparently denying the very concept of Catholic sanctifying grace and justification become the new Luther?

Might God’s answer to Francis the new Luther be Our Lady of Guadalupe?

Finally, this is from my friend Richard Salbato who passed away a few years ago on “God’s [possible] answer to [the new] Martin Luther in Guadalupe.” It comes from his old website Unity Publishing:

MARTIN LUTHER  AND OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
In the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

There is a mass migration of Christians into Evangelical denominations or into what is called “born-again” Christians or Fundamentalists. Most Christians don’t know where this idea of “born-again” comes from; in fact, even “born-again Christians” have no idea where it all started. Most Fundamentalists couldn’t answer what a Fundamentalist is. This is sort of a history lesson on the two concepts: being “born again” and “Fundamentalism”. It is also a history lesson on the relationship between “born again” and Guadalupe.

In the 1500’s Catholic kings fought each other all over Europe. Twenty-five million people lost their lives to the Black Plague, many being priests and nuns because they were the only ones who would care for the sick and bury the dead. So many priests and nuns lost their lives to the Black Plague that priests were quickly ordained with only one or two years of training, and many bad priests were the result. Two anti-popes fought for the Chair of Rome. The Moors occupied Spain and Portugal all across the Mediterranean Sea, and they occupied the latter for hundreds of years while the Christian armies were unable to drive them out. Mohammed II invaded the Mediterranean Islands and the southern coast of Italy. Hidden spies infiltrated the Christian armies and gave away secrets, preventing them from winning any wars with the Moors. The King of France, aided by a false mystic, (who claimed that the Pope was not the rightful Bishop of Rome) invaded Italy with the intention of arresting the Pope. This was the situation of the Kingdom of God on Earth at the turn of the Century.

When all seemed lost, God sent a woman, Isabella of Spain, to save the Kingdom. Isabella became Queen of Spain and, although constantly pregnant, she rode her horse all over Europe to defeat the Turks and the Tartars, pushing Mohammed out of Europe, stopping the King of France and saving the Holy Father. She brought peace to Spain and Portugal. A pregnant woman on a horse saved the world from the first of the Antichrists of the world, Mohammed.

She, and she alone, financed Christopher Columbus to discover the new world of the Americas. Because of Isabella of Spain and Columbus, eventually all the wealth of Spain and Portugal would migrate to the Americas and drain the power from Spain and Portugal.

Before her death in 1504, a child was born in Germany of a poor peasant miner, named John Luder. This child would eventually change his name because the word “Luder” in German means “beast”. Let me emphasize this: the word “Luder” means “beast”. This will be relevant later.

Now, this child, by all Twentieth Century standards or even Fifteenth Century standards, was an abused child. He didn’t like authority, and so, he was beaten constantly by his father, mother, and his teachers. One time he was beaten fifteen times by his school master before morning. He became a runaway. All authority became his enemy.

One day he was almost struck by lightning, and this so frightened him that he made a promise to God. If God would save his life from the storm, he would become a priest. And so, he did. He became an Augustinian priest.

To understand Luder, we must read Luder’s own writings. When he was still a priest, Luder wrote

“If Christ had not entrusted all power to one man, the Church would not have been perfect. There would have been disorder, and each person would have been his own master claiming to be led by the Holy Spirit. This is what the heretics do. “The principle sin of heretics is their own pride. With pride they insist on their own opinions. Frequently they serve God with great devotion. They do not intend any evil, but they serve God according to their own will. “Even when refuted they refuse to change their words. They think they are guided by the Holy Spirit. The things that have been established for centuries and in which countless martyrs have lost their lives, they treat as doubtful questions. They interpret the Bible according to their own heads, and carry their own opinions in it.”
Luder wanted to be a perfect priest but he did not understand one important thing; he did not understand “grace”. He wanted to acquire sanctity by his own efforts, his own justice, his own works, and he did not like anyone helping him – not even God. He hated authority, in whatever form it took, including God. He said of himself,

“I gave special tasks to myself, which my superiors fought against (and rightfully so). I was a persecutor of my own soul, by fasting and prayer, which was suicide. From misplaced reliance on my own righteousness, I became filled with mistrust, fear, hatred, and blasphemy of God. I was such an enemy of Christ, that whenever I saw a picture of Christ or the Cross, I would shut my eyes and thought that I would rather have seen the devil. I was constantly depressed or melancholy. For do what I would, my good works or righteousness brought me no help or consolation.”
It was while he was in this state of melancholy that his problems began. Leo X issued a Bull on Indulgences, and the Dominican, Tetzel, traveled throughout Germany preaching indulgences and collecting money to rebuild Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Tetzel angered Luder to the bottom of his soul because Tetzel said that man did not rely on himself, but needed the grace of God to do any good work. Tetzel taught that the grace stored up in the Church by all the saints, martyrs, monks, and cloistered nuns could be tapped. By appealing to these graces we could gain the power to overcome temptation and sin. By appealing to these graces stored up in the Body of Christ, the Church, we could gain power from God to do good and to gain the remission of sins.
So angry was Luder that his fasting and penance was for nothing, that he lashed out at Tetzel. On Halloween Day in 1517 ( 500 years before Fatima) he nailed up on the Church doors 95 objections against indulgences. The Church made little of it, except to answer his objections, because this was a standard way of getting answers to questions in those days. Luder began to vacillate. At first he wrote to the Holy Father,

“Whatever your decision I will accept as Christ speaking through you.” However, when his errors were pointed out to him, Luder rebelled. He denied one day what he had professed the day before. He declared the Church infallible one day, then denied it the next. He submitted to the councils and then he did not. He stated that civil government had power over the Church and then he denied it. He admitted Hell and then he questioned it. He taught that Sacraments gave grace and then he denied it. He taught seven Sacraments, then two, then three. He admitted that Baptism gave grace and then he did not. He maintained Purgatory, and then he denied it.

Finally, in 1520 he was excommunicated. Regarding his excommunication, Luder said,
“I maintain that the author of this excommunication (the Pope) is the Antichrist.”
The Bible did not support his views. He needed a new bible. In the Sixteenth Century, it could be said that if anyone could not read Latin, he could not read at all. In spite of this there were 17 versions of the Bible in the German languagealone before Luder came out with his own version.

In order to make a new version, he took the Newenburg Version of 1483 and began to change everything in it. He wrote his own version from the German Newenburg Version in only 10 weeks. He never stopped changing his own version until his death. He never went to the Greek or Hebrew, and his only source was the German version written in 1483.

He changed Scriptures so that wherever it said to “do penance”, he wrote, “to do better”. In Acts 19:18 where it says, “Many of them came confessing their sins”, he wrote, “They came acknowledging the miracles of the Apostles”. In the Annunciation where it said, “Full of Grace”, he changed it to “Thou gracious one”. In Romans where it said, “We account a man to be justified by faith”, he wrote, “We hold man justified by faith alone without the works of the law.”

When questioned about his addition of the word “alone” he stated,

“If your Pope annoys you with the word, tell him that I will have it that way. Popes and asses are one and the same thing. To the devil with anyone who censures my translation without my will or knowledge. I will have it that way. I am the doctor of all the doctors of popidom. These Popish asses are not able to appreciate my labors.”
Regarding the Doctors of the Church – Augustine, Jerome, Basil, Aquinas, Luder wrote,

“They are untrustworthy teachers. Bores, out of which Christians have been drinking. Naive blasphemers, infernal asses, knowing nothing of the gospel, deceived by the devil, and deserving of hell rather than heaven.”
Then he proceeded to take out whole sections of the Bible: Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiastics, Tobias, Machabees I and II, parts of Ester, parts of Daniel, the prayers of Menasseh.

Regarding Moses,

“I do not wish to see or hear anything of Moses. If we allow the 10 commandments any influence on our conscience they become the cloak of evil, heretics, and blasphemers. If Moses should intimidate you with his 10 commandments, tell him right off to chase himself to the Jews. Moses should forever be looked about with suspicion, even as a heretic, damned, even worse than the Pope and the devil.”
Luder had no respect for the rest of the Bible, either. Judith he called a tragedy. Tobias he called a comedy. Ecclesiastics he said was OK for ordinary dumb folks. Baruch he said was worthless. Esra,

“I would not even translate it. There is nothing in it you would not find in Aesop’s Fables,” wrote Luder.
Regarding Job, he said it was a fable. Ester he said he would throw into the Ibe River. As for Jonas, Jonas he said was monstrous.

In the New Testament he rejected Hebrews, James, Jude, and Revelation. Of the four Gospels, he said only John was trustworthy. Regarding Hebrews he said that it has bits of wood, hay and straw. Of James he said he did not hold it to be James’ writings. Regarding Revelation he said,

“I feel an aversion to it, and this is sufficient reason for me to reject it.”Even those words he could not change, he changed the meaning. He told his followers that wherever they saw the words, “to do” they should understand them to mean “to believe”. “Do this and you shall live” in Matthew should be taken to mean “Believe this and you shall live.”

Now, armed with a Bible that supported his views, he placed cheap copies of it into the hands of the peasants and the princes. To flatter them, he told the peasants that they were the priests and that anyone’s interpretation of Scripture had equal value to anyone else.

“Among Christians there should not be any authority,” he said. The peasants took this farther than Luder wanted them to. Led by a man named Mussner, they revolted against the kings, princes and the Church. They demanded the right to elect priests, the elimination of serfdom, the elimination of subjects, the elimination of princes, and the elimination of kings. They used the new Gospel of Luder to claim the right to kill all until authority was destroyed and the new Kingdom of God was established.

To arouse the masses even further, Luder had cartoons pasted all over Germany showing the Pope and the Cardinals being born out of the devil’s behind.
Monasteries, churches, and the palaces of the princes were attacked. At first Luder was happy. He wanted to use the peasants to destroy the Church in Germany. However, when they also attacked the kings and princes who had protected his cause, he realized that if the peasants gained control, he would lose control.

He wrote a declaration against the peasants, and the kings posted his declaration all over Germany.

“Pure deviltry is the peasants. They rob and rage like mad dogs, therefore whoever is able to mow them down, slaughter them or stab them, openly or in secret, let them do so. Remember, nothing is more poisonous, noxious or devious than a rebel. You must kill them like you would a mad dog.” The peasants were slaughtered like cattle. After the slaughter Luder wrote,

“I, Luder, slew all the peasants because I said they should be slain. All their blood is upon my head, but I put it upon the Lord, God, by whose command I spoke.”
In 1531 he celebrated the slaughter of the peasants by marrying a nun, and becoming the author of the “State Church” because he said,

“He who owns the country owns the Church. He who makes the laws for you, has the right to make the religion for you. No finer government in the world is there than that of the Turks, who have neither a secular nor spiritual code of law, but only the Koran.”
He said that the Abbeys belonged to the princes, and that monasteries were dens of iniquity that the kings should root out and destroy. If the kings did this, he said, then God would bless them.

So began all state-controlled religions. Eventually some governments would go so far as to outlaw all religions, as in the case of the “French Revolution” and “Communism”. By 1984 Communism would outlaw religion in 74% of the entire world.
When Pope Paul III died, Luder said,

“This is the fourth Pope I have buried and I will bury many more.”Soon after he said that, however, Luder died. The main theological argument of Luder was that man has no free will to choose good or evil, and therefore cannot be blamed for any sin whatsoever.

“It is either God or the Devil that rules. Man has no freedom to choose and is absolutely devoid of responsibility. Having lost free will, man cannot observe the precepts of the ten commandments. He cannot master his passions. He must sin as long as he lives.””Good works are useless. They are sin. And in fact, impossible. It is more important to guard against good works than to guard against sin.”
Now listen very carefully to the following writings of Luder and you will see where we are going with all of this.

“If men believe in Christ and accept Him as their personal Savior, His justice will be imputed to them and they will go straight to Heaven. It does not matter what evil they have done during their lives. It does not matter whether they are, or not, repentful of their sins. It does not matter at the moment of their death whether they have contrition or not, or if they are in the state of grace. If they have accepted Christ as their personal Savior they will be saved.”
Let’s read that again,

“If men believe in Christ and accept Him as their personal Savior, His justice will be imputed to them and they will go straight to Heaven. It does not matter what evil they have done during their lives. It does not matter whether they are, or not, repentful of their sins. It does not matter at the moment of their death whether they have contrition or not, or if they are in the state of grace. If they have accepted Christ as their personal Savior they will be saved.”
The author of that was Luder, the beast. Reading on, in Luder’s writings, he said this:

“The Laws of God are only there so that man can see in them the impossibility of doing good. Man must persuade himself to have nothing to do with the law, and that no sin should deny him anything. Let him, so to say, boast of his sins. What should be the rule every time you read in the Scripture: God commanding good works, you should understand that to mean, that the Scripture forbids good works. Be on your guard against good works. Avoid them as one avoids a pest. I will drink all the more because you forbid it. I will drink goblets in the name and honor of the name of Jesus Christ. If you think about good works, prayers, the laws of Christ, I advise everyone to drive these satanic thoughts out of their minds by thinking about a pretty woman, or money or drink. It is impossible to do without a woman. Chastity is an abomination. — Be a sinner and sin boldly but believe more boldly still. We must sin as long as we are what we are. Sin will not drive us away from God even if we commit fornication thousands of thousands of times a day. The gratification of sexual desire is God’s work, and it is as necessary as eating, drinking, sweating, or sleeping.”
Regarding a family, Luder wrote,

He who keeps a prostitute is closer to God — than one who takes a wife.” Regarding the Jews, he wrote,

“Burn their Synagogues and schools. Put them on fire, their homes, their prayer books and their rabbis.”  Are you getting an idea where Hitler got his ideas, and why he found a following in Germany?

Before he died, however, he complained that there were as many differing opinions on the Bible as there were people, but he did not repent. He went on to say, “My word is the word of Christ. My mouth is the mouth of Christ.”

Luder is the founder, the prophet, the christ of the
BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS.
He is Luder, the beast, but he changed his name to Martin Luther, the founder of the Protestant Reformation. Today there are 27,000 Christian sects, and there are 400 new ones created every week.

At the same time that Martin Luder was crushing the peasants in 1531, and celebrating this by marrying a nun;

at the same time that priests and nuns were being murdered;

at the same time that Monasteries and Abbeys were being destroyed, the saints on earth and in heaven were praying:

“How long O Lord, Holy and True, do you refrain from avenging and judging those who dwell on earth.” (Revelation 6:10)

God answered their prayers. We know He answered their prayers from what followed in History, and I can imagine that God said this,

“I AM, therefore I foresaw this Luder. I AM, therefore I reserved for Myself a hidden world for this time. I AM, therefore for each soul that is lost because of Luder, I will bring ten into the Kingdom of God on Earth before Luder’s death. I AM, therefore, with the use of a woman, My Isabella, I saved the Kingdom from the Moslems. I AM, therefore, with the use of THE WOMAN, I will save the kingdom from his lies. “Out of Luder’s lies, will come lies upon lies, sect upon sect, but My Kingdom will stand until I do away with all My enemies.”
On one side of the world in 1531 Luder brought two million out of the Church. On the same day, in the same year, on the other side of the world, atop a small hill in Guadalupe, Our Lady appeared to Juan Diego and, because of Her, ten million people were converted to the Faith and brought into the Kingdom within a year.Ten million before Luder died. Ten million in one year, between 1531 and 1532. God will not be mocked. Let us learn the story of God’s answer to Martin Luther in Guadalupe.

GUADALUPE
The story of Our Lady of Guadelupe begins when Cortez arrived in Mexico in 1519. What he saw was the great civilization of the Aztec Empire. There were accomplished mathematicians, astronomers, physicians, architects, philosophers, craftsmen, and artists. They had a judicial system that resembled that of Europe. Reading and writing began at an early age, but their writing was in pictographs similar to that of the Egyptian Hieroglyphics.
The town, which is now Mexico City, was an island in the center of a lake with three land bridges leading to it. What Cortez saw when he arrived there was a beautiful city with a stone pyramid in the middle of it. It was the temple where they held their religious ceremonies. The Aztecs were afraid of nature, and out of nature they made their gods. They were afraid of the sun, the moon, the stars, the rain, the wind, fire, and so on, and they made these their personalized gods and goddesses. They built idols of these, and they worshipped them in the pyramid temples. They offered human sacrifices to these gods. They regarded themselves as “The People of the Sun”, since the sun was their primary god. For fear that the sun might not rise again, they offered human sacrifices to the sun god. Victims of these sacrifices were often prisoners, slaves, children, or unwanted babies.

While still alive, a black-robed, long-haired priest tore out their heart and held it in his hand offering it to his sun god as he watched the heartless victim die. In some rituals they mutilated and ate their victims alive. They would kill thousands of humans on any one of their feast days. On the inauguration day of their temple pyramid in 1487 they killed over 20,000 people on their altars in one day.

The mightiest of their gods was the feathered or stoned serpent to whom many thousands were sacrificed every year. Another of their gods was the mother god, whose temple stood on a small hill that would later become Guadalupe. Her head was a combination of snakes heads and her clothes a mass of living serpents.
When Cortez arrived, the ruler of the Aztecs was Montezuma the Second. Somehow God had gone before Cortez, because their mystics were predicting to Montezuma his own overthrow. His sister had dreamed of the ships with the black cross on their sails, and of the soldiers with the black crosses on their armor. A prophet from their past had predicted that a man with white skin and a white beard would bring them knowledge of the true God.

The Spaniards did not even have 400 soldiers, and the Aztecs had thousands, but Montezuma was afraid because of what his prophets had told him and decided to negotiate with Cortez. On November 8, 1519, Cortez met Montezuma and marched right into the center of the city. While Cortez negotiated with Montezuma, his remaining soldiers, who were waiting at the ships, mutinied. Cortez had to leave the city to put down the rebels. While he was gone, Montezuma attacked the remaining soldiers in the city, and 300 of Cortez’s 400 men were killed. Some of the men were sacrificed alive to the snake god.

In spite of his small force of men, Cortez attacked the city, killed Montezuma and overtook the Aztecs. This was how the Spaniards took over the Aztecs. They put into place something called, “First Alliance”, and they put in charge ruthless people who treated the Aztecs like second-rate citizens, even as animals.
King Charles the Fifth, back in Spain, heard about this and wanted to correct this abuse, so he appointed a bishop to take charge of the new world.

Bishop Zumeragua arrived in the New World in 1528 as the first bishop of the New World. He tried very hard to stop the abuses and overcome the hatred between the Aztecs and the Spaniards. He brought fruit trees, and agriculture experts, and printing presses with him. He built schools. He built the College of the Holy Cross, which would become the largest college in the world.

The Bishop, however, had a lot of problems with the Spanish soldiers. In fact, they even attacked him and his monks. The hatred grew so bad between the Spaniards and the Aztec Indians that the Bishop felt there would be an uprising. He smuggled out a message in a hollowed out cross to King Charles. King Charles appointed another Bishop (Don Sebastian Rameres) to be the head of the government in America and to do away with the “First Alliance”.

Before Bishop Rameres arrived, the situation got so bad that an uprising was imminent. Most historians agree that if the Aztecs had rebelled at that time they would have been exterminated by the Spaniards, and all history would have been different. However, Bishop Zumeragua began to pray to Our Lady.

He asked Our Lady to send him some Castilian Roses, as a sign that his desperate prayers had been heard. In the Sixteenth Century there were no Castilian Roses in all the Americas.

In 40 AD the Virgin Mary went to Ephesus with John, the Apostle, to destroy the goddess Diana. And now 1500 years later on a hill that was formerly the temple to the goddess of the snake, Our Lady appeared to an Indian, one of the few Christians who existed at the time, Juan Diego.

“Juanito, my son, where are you going?”

Juan Diego was shocked at her beauty and could only mumble, “I am on my way to church to hear Mass.”

Our Lady smiled, “Know for certain that I am the perfect and perpetual Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God through Whom everything lives – the Lord of all things, who is the master of heaven and earth. I ardently desire a temple to be built here to me, where I will show and offer my love and compassion, my help, my protection to the people. I am your merciful Mother, the Mother of all who live united in this land and of all mankind, of all those who love me, of all those who cry to me, of all those who have confidence in me. Here I will hear their weeping and their sorrows, and will remedy and elevate their sufferings and misfortunes.

“Therefore, in order to realize my intentions, go to the house of the bishop of Mexico City, and tell him that I send you and that it is my desire to have a temple built here. Tell him all that you have seen and heard. Be assured that I will be very grateful and will reward you for doing diligently what I have asked of you. Now that you have heard my words, my son, go and do everything as best as you can.”

Juan bowed his head reverently, “My Lady, I will do everything that you asked.” And he went down the mountain to see the Bishop.

He returned to Our Lady the same day. The Bishop was kind but did not believe him.
“I beg You, Noble Lady, entrust this matter to someone of importance, someone well known and respected, so that your wish will be accomplished, for I am only a lowly peasant, and You have sent me to a place where I have no standing. Forgive me if I have disappointed you, for having failed at my mission.”

The Virgin looked tenderly on him and said,

“Listen to me, My son, and understand that I have many servants who I could charge with the delivery of My message, but it is altogether necessary that you should be the one to carry out this mission. It is through your mediation and assistance that My wish should be accomplished.

“I wish you to go to the bishop again tomorrow. Tell him in My Name and make him fully understand my disposition, that he should undertake the erection of a Church for which I ask. And repeat to him that it is I, in person, the Ever Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, who sends you.”

Once again the bishop pushed him out the door saying, “If the Lady could give me a sign maybe then I could believe.”

“What kind of sign?” asked Juan.

“I leave it up to Her,” he said.

“Come again tomorrow,” Our Lady told Juan, when he had told Her what the bishop had said, “and I will give you a sign for the bishop.”

When Juan went home he found his uncle sick and dying. Instead of going back to see Our Lady, he tried to go around the mountain to get a priest for his dying uncle. She intercepted him on the path at the foot of the mountain. “Where are you going, my son?”

Juan told Our Lady about his dying uncle and that he was going to get a priest to give him the Last Rites. He promised to come back the next day to do as Our Lady had requested.

“Listen, and let it penetrate into your heart my dear little son. Do not be troubled or weighted down with grief. Do not fear any illness, or vexation, anxiety, or pain. Am I not here, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of My Mantle, in the crossings of My Arms? Is there anything else you need.”

“Do not let the illness of your uncle worry you, because he is not going to die of this sickness. At this very moment he is cured.”

Our lady told Juan to go up to the top of the mountain and pick the flowers that he would see there and to bring them down to Her. When he did, She placed them very carefully in the front part of his tilma which he held in his hands. He then ran to the bishop with the tilma folded over the flowers.

With much difficulty he entered into the bishop’s chamber, and there he found himself in front of two bishops and a priest. The new bishop, who would be the head of all Mexico, had arrived. The priest was his interpreter.

Juan told his story and threw down the tilma, and the Castilian Roses fell to the floor. The bishop was speechless. These were the Castilian Roses that the bishop had prayed to the Virgin for.

After some time, he looked up at Juan, and at that instant an image of the Virgin Mary appeared on the front of the tilma, Juan’s robe. It was done in pictograph form as the Aztec Indians wrote in their language.

The two bishops, the priest, and Juan stood in a daze for a long time. Finally the Bishop removed the Tilma reverently and hugged Juan, asking his forgiveness. News spread throughout Mexico all night of the miracle. The next day, Juan and the Bishops led a procession to the site of the future Church. The Indians were so excited that they jumped up and down and sang songs to Our Lady. “Our Lady is one of us” they shouted. They shot arrows into the air in celebration. One of these arrows came down and killed one of the Indians.

The bishop knew that Our Lady would not allow this sadness on this day, so he placed the Tilma on the dead man, and he came back to life perfectly healed. The bishop ordered a chapel to be built immediately until a Cathedral could be built. After the celebrations, Juan finally returned to his dying uncle. It had been almost two days since he left him.

Juan found his uncle perfectly cured as he knew he would be, but he did not expect the story his uncle told. The Virgin appeared to his uncle at exactly the same time She was appearing to Juan, cured him, told him the story, and told him Her name. The name She actually gave was an Aztec Indian word which means, “The Woman Who Crushes the Head of the Serpent”. But the Spaniards misunderstood the name and took it for “Our Lady of Guadalupe” which is a famous shrine in Spain where there is a statue of Our Lady that was owned by Leo the Great in the Fifth Century.

Indians from all over the Americas in the millions came to see the picture, and miracles occurred everyday. What did the Indians see? They saw an Indian Lady on that Tilma blocking out their sun god, standing on their moon and snake gods, and praying to a God more powerful than Her.
For the first time, Indians and Spaniards hugged each other. Conversions to the faith happened so fast that some priests baptized more than 6000 people in a single day. At one convent alone, two priests baptized 14,200 Indians in five days. Indian women replaced their mini-skirts with clothes similar to Our Lady. Ten million Indians were baptized in one year.
The bishop, who prayed for Our Lady’s help; Cortez, who stopped the slaughter of infant babies; and Juan Diego, who saw Our Lady; all died in the same year.

In the same year that Martin Luther took two million people out of the Kingdom of God on Earth, Our Lady brought ten million in. In fact, the fifty-year span from 1531 to 1581 was the fastest growth of the Catholic Church in the entire 2000-year history of the Church.

God will not be mocked.

When Christianity centered around the East, wealth and prosperity followed, but when they began to accept the heresies of the Gnostics, the Arians, and the Nestorians, God moved His Kingdom into Germany, Spain, England and Russia. He then sent Mohammed, and the once paradise of the world became a desert of poverty and war.

God will not be mocked.

When Christianity began to apostatize in Europe, God moved His Kingdom to the Americas, with the help of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Wealth followed and Mexico became the wealthiest Country in the world with the best schools, the best hospitals, and the best standard of living.

God will not be mocked.

When the Mexican Government became Masonic in 1917, and tried to wipe out all Christianity by killing priests and nuns, confiscating all the schools and hospitals, God moved His Kingdom to Northern America, and the wealth followed.

God will not be mocked.

As Christianity in North America begins to lose the faith, Africa, England, Korea, Japan, and all the far east is coming alive. In Africa so many people are converting to the faith that there is a three-year wait to get into the seminaries, and they have some of the largest seminaries in the world. Africa just built the largest Catholic Church in the world, even larger than Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome. In Korea the Church is doubling in size every year. In the rest of the Far East conversions are at an all-time high. All the while in Pagan America old-line Catholics, who failed to even read their Bibles, leave the Kingdom in droves.

God is not mocked.

Protestants and Protestant ministers are coming into the Kingdom at an astounding rate, and they are making the Church come alive again.

God is not mocked.

Am I a “Born-Again Christian”? Yes! When I was baptized I became “born again”. Does that mean I am saved? No! Read 1 Cor. 9-27 or Phil 3:11 and you will see that Paul did not believe “once saved – always saved”. Study your Bible and you will see that the Bible is the story of the Catholic Church and the Catholic Church is the story of the Bible.

The Word is a two-edged sWord. It’s time to pick up your sWord and defend Our Lady.

ventilators deadly for COVID-19 patients

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • Research is revealing that COVID-19 patients placed on ventilators often don’t survive, leading experts to suggest the machines are being overused and patients may do better with less invasive treatments
  • In some cases, COVID-19 patients have oxygen levels that are so low they’re considered “incompatible with life,” yet the patients have no shortness of breath or labored breathing
  • Despite their low oxygen levels, many COVID-19 patients recover using high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy or breathing support in the form of continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, masks
  • Doctors at the University of Chicago Medicine reported “truly remarkable” results using high-flow nasal cannulas in lieu of ventilators; all COVID-19 patients “fared extremely well,” and only one required intubation 10 days later
  • In a case series of five patients, “dramatic improvement” was seen using hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), which may have prevented the need for mechanical ventilation

Mechanical ventilators may cause more harm than good in a significant number of COVID-19 patients, which is a conundrum for physicians used to treating severe hypoxia — low blood oxygen — with such machines. In some cases, COVID-19 patients have oxygen levels that are so low they’re considered “incompatible with life,” yet the patients have no shortness of breath or labored breathing.1

The phenomenon has been dubbed “happy hypoxia,” a term medically known as silent hypoxemia, in which COVID-19 patients may have blood-oxygen saturation levels as low as 50% — normal blood-oxygen saturation is 95% or higher.

“There is a mismatch [between] what we see on the monitor and what the patient looks like in front of us,” Dr. Reuben Strayer, an emergency physician at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City, told Science.2

Typically, if a person has low oxygen saturation, they’ll be treated with breathing support in the form of continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, masks, which are often used to treat severe sleep apnea. CPAP devices regulate the pressure and level of oxygen that reaches the lungs,3 using mild air pressure to keep breathing airways open.

Bilevel positive airway pressure ventilators (BiPAP), another noninvasive device to supply pressurized air into the airways, may also be used. If oxygen saturation doesn’t increase, or in cases of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), a lung condition that’s common in severe COVID-19 cases, and which causes low blood oxygen and fluid buildup in the lungs, mechanical ventilation is often recommended.

However, research is revealing that COVID-19 patients placed on ventilators often don’t survive, leading experts to suggest the machines are being overused and patients may do better with less invasive treatments.

Over 50% of Mechanically Ventilated COVID-19 Patients Die

“Mechanical ventilation is the main supportive treatment for critically ill patients” infected with novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), according to a February 2020 study published in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine.4 Yet, it’s quickly become apparent that invasively ventilated COVID-19 patients often don’t make it, and have a very high case fatality rate of more than 50%.5

The practice is widespread, nonetheless. In a case series of 1,300 critically ill patients admitted to intensive care units (ICUs) in Lombardy, Italy, 88% received invasive ventilation, but the mortality rate was still 26%.6

Further, in a JAMA study that included 5,700 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in the New York City area between March 1, 2020, and April 4, 2020, mortality rates for those who received mechanical ventilation ranged from 76.4% to 97.2%, depending on age.7

Similarly, in a study of 24 COVID-19 patients admitted to Seattle-area ICUs, 75% received mechanical ventilation and, overall, half of the patients died between one and 18 days after being admitted.8

There are many reasons why those on ventilators have a high risk of mortality, including being more severely ill to begin with. However, given the poor outcomes, some physicians are now trying to keep patients off of ventilators as much as possible by using less-invasive alternative measures.

“Contrary to the impression that if extremely ill patients with Covid-19 are treated with ventilators they will live and if they are not, they will die, the reality is far different,” Dr. Muriel Gillick of Harvard Medical School told STAT news.9

There are risks inherent to mechanical ventilation itself, including impairment to the lung’s air sacs from high levels of oxygen and lung damage caused by the high pressure used by the machines. Long-term sedation from the intubation is another risk, one that’s difficult for some patients, especially the elderly, to bounce back from.

In cases of ARDS, the lung’s air sacs may be filled with a yellow fluid that has a “gummy” texture, making oxygen transfer from the lungs to the blood difficult, even with mechanical ventilation.

According to Gillick, “We need to ask, are we using ventilators in a way that makes sense for other diseases but not for this one? Instead of asking how do we ration a scarce resource [ventilators], we should be asking how do we best treat this disease?”10Advertisement

Less Invasive Nasal Cannula May Work Better

In some cases, there’s evidence that a far less invasive nasal cannula may be sufficient to help COVID-19 patients. In a study of COVID-19 patients in China, most of the critically ill patients received high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy as a first-line treatment, and it was sufficient in the majority of cases.11

Although 41% did eventually require more intensive breathing support, noninvasive ventilation, such as BiPAP, was offered next and again succeeded in keeping most of the patients off mechanical ventilators. Ultimately, only four of the 27 patients with severe acute respiratory failure were intubated.

According to some physicians, COVID-19 patients display symptoms more in line with altitude sickness than pneumonia, such as having low levels of carbon dioxide in the blood, despite low oxygen, calling mechanical ventilation into further question.

Speaking with STAT, Dr. Scott Weingart, a critical care physician in New York and host of the “EMCrit” podcast, said, “we’ve had a number of people who improved and got off CPAP or high flow [nasal cannulas] who would have been tubed 100 out of 100 times in the past.”

But, he said, automatically putting patients on mechanical ventilators “is really bad,” adding “… I think these patients do much, much worse on the ventilator … I would do everything in my power to avoid intubating patients.”12

Are There Two Types of COVID-19 Presentations?

An April 2020 article by Drs. Luciano Gattinoni and John Marini describes two different types of COVID-19 presentations, which they refer to as Type L and Type H.13 In Type L, patients have “low lung elastance (high compliance), lower lung weight as estimated by CT scan, and low response to PEEP [positive end-expiratory pressure].” Many patients become stabilized at this stage and do not deteriorate further.

However, in some cases symptoms closer to ARDS develop. This type of presentation is defined as Type H, and includes “high elastance (low compliance), higher lung weight, and high PEEP response.”

Importantly, while one type benefits from mechanical ventilation, the other does not. Dr. Roger Seheult discusses this paper, as well as the comparison of COVID-19 to high altitude pulmonary edema, or HAPE, in the MedCram video above, once again suggesting it may turn out that mechanical ventilators are inappropriate for a majority of patients.

‘Prevent the Vent’ Approach Yields Remarkable Results

Meanwhile, doctors at University of Chicago (UChicago) Medicine reported “truly remarkable” results using high-flow nasal cannulas in lieu of ventilators.14 In fact, 24 COVID-19 patients who were in respiratory distress were given HFNCs instead of ventilators. All “fared extremely well,” and only one required intubation 10 days later.

Dr. Michael O’Connor, director of critical care medicine, called the team’s success “truly remarkable. At one point, the department had 137 COVID-19 patients, but only 27 were on ventilators. “The medical staff has avoided mechanical ventilation on 40% of patients, and extubated 50% of those who needed ventilators, O’Connor said in a news release. “It’s a phenomenal number, because in Italy, the number of extubations was much lower.”15

The team has also been combining the use of HFNCs with prone positioning, another alternative treatment that’s shown promise for treating COVID-19. Lying in the prone (face down) position, in which your chest is down and your back is up, has been shown to improve outcomes in people with severe ARDS,16 and oxygenation tends to be significantly better among patients in the prone position compared to the supine (face up) position.17

A study of critically ill COVID-19 patients in China’s Jiangsu Province recommended the use of awake prone positioning, which, the researchers noted, “showed significant effects in improving oxygenation and pulmonary heterogeneity.”18

It’s also been suggested that the physiological changes that occur with prone positioning may be even more favorable in spontaneously breathing patients than in those who are intubated.

A 2003 study found, in fact, that the prone position led to a rapid increase in partial pressure of oxygen, or PaO2, which is a measure of how well oxygen moves from the lungs to the blood, among patients with respiratory failure.19 All of the patients in the study were able to avoid mechanical ventilation.

Dr. Thomas Spiegel, medical director of UChicago Medicine’s emergency department, said, “The proning and the high-flow nasal cannulas combined have brought patient oxygen levels from around 40% to 80% and 90%, so it’s been fascinating and wonderful to see.”20

The UChicago Medicine team is using an approach they’ve dubbed “prevent the vent,” which involves using mechanical ventilation only as a last resort. “Avoiding intubation is key,” Spiegel said. “Most of our colleagues around the city are not doing this, but I sure wish other ERs would take a look at this technique closely.”21

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy May Prevent Mechanical Ventilation

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is another treatment adjunct being explored against severe COVID-19. It works by supplying 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber, which allows your body to absorb oxygen directly into your tissues. Since there’s no airflow being forced directly into the lungs, it doesn’t cause the lung damage that mechanical ventilation can.

Dr. Kelly Thibodeaux with Opelousas General Hospital in Louisiana, which has a hyperbaric center, called HBOT “a less invasive way to deliver oxygen that doesn’t require sticking a tube down the trachea.”22

Thibodeaux and colleagues explained, “Once intubated, mortality increases exponentially.”23They’ve been deploying off-label compassionate use of HBOT as an alternative for patients that would otherwise have required ventilation, with promising results. In a case series of five patients, “dramatic improvement” was seen with HBOT. According to the article:

“All the patients recovered without the need for mechanical ventilation. Following HBOT, oxygen saturation increased, tachypnea [rapid breathing] resolved and inflammatory markers fell.

At the time of writing, three of the five patients have been discharged from the hospital and two remain in stable condition … Most importantly, HBOT potentially prevented the need for mechanical ventilation.”24

Ongoing research will be needed to determine the best course of action for individual COVID-19 cases, but it appears that starting with the least invasive options is beneficial in the majority of cases, while an increasing number of physicians are advising against mechanical ventilation whenever possible.

THE CHURCH IS TRULY AT A CROSSROADS, MAKE CERTAIN YOU TAKE THE ROAD LAID OUT FOR YOU BY OUR LORD Jesus Christ IN HIS GOSPEL

Dear Excellency,

There are many things in this letter you might already know and agree with, so for some this will be like preaching to the choir. For others it could bring some new explanations hoped for. And for others it could provide a confirmation for some things already suspected. For others it could challenge decades of faulty indoctrination, practice and world view. And for still for others there might be something useful not yet considered for the salvation of souls. It’s a bit lengthy so I installed headings so that

it can be read nonlinearly and at different times if desired.

Introduction

We could do well to reflect upon the critical juncture we now face at this significant moment in history, significant for many reasons but in particular for those that began with the recent Lent of 2020 and the coronavirus pandemic that accompanied it – simultaneously – worldwide. And also because of what this seeming coincidence might mean, the ominous implications it could uncover for the Church, it’s future, and that of the world. We’ll try to address these and answer what – if any – practical and effective solutions exist for both going forward. So let’s break it down…

To begin, we should recognize that not only has Lent historically been a period of 40 days, but so also has the very meaning of the word, “quarantine” (literally “period of forty days,” origin: 1600–10; < Italian “quarantina”). And that also historically, the health of nations and that of the Church have depended upon the faithful practices of both. Namely, upon their “best practices”:

Best Practice

Quarantine Errors

With the last global pandemic taking place over a century ago (1918 Spanish flu – 500m infected), it could be said that many quarantine best practices have fallen by the wayside to the point of being discounted, forgotten or in some cases even held in contempt. A review of recent history might be useful.

• By January 2020 China reported an “out of control” “outbreak” in Wuhan – a potential epidemic – notifying major global and national health organizations. Person to person transmission was confirmed and major health organizations recommended little else but hand washing, let alone zero precautions to protect the society to which a traveler would return.

• China locked down 36 million people in Hubei province which included Wuhan, while building a Mega-sized hospital. This went mostly unnoticed by the political, medical and mainstream media communities who preferred to critisize and speculate upon China’s words and political policies, all the while failing to look at their desperate actions in the face of a crises. From these they might’ve deduced the potential severity of the epidemic at hand and it’s implications for the rest of the world.

• Positive test results were reported from 19 countries
(symptomatic and asymptomatic) and it became clear the genie was out of the bottle. Despite this and all of the above, a major global health organization, “The World Health Organization” (WHO) of “The United Nations” (UN), still advocated continued trade, travel and advised against travel bans though the qualifications for identifying the Covid19 Coronavirus as an “official pandemic” – even by their own standards – was already met.

• By February some countries implemented travel restrictions to specific cities or regions. But this neither took into account adjacent cities or regions, nor all pandemic ridden countries.

• After the first week of March an official “pandemic” was finally proclaimed by the UN’s WHO on March 11, 2020. This was over a month after the criteria for declaring a pandemic was already met by their own criteria. Accordingly, there were just over 115,000 coronavirus cases in 110 countries and 4000 casualties.

Quarantine Error Consequences

As a result of neglecting quarantine best practices the current coronavirus pandemic has multiplied at an exponential rate worldwide. Within the course of several months there are now over 13 million cases of the coronavirus in 188 countries and regions, claiming over half a million lives. Billions have lost their savings, jobs and businesses, and global economies have nose-dived. And by the time you read this those numbers will be much higher.

Quarantine Best Practices

In summary, despite what was at first a highly probable epidemic and then an unequivocal worldwide pandemic, major global and national health organizations failed to immediately recommend the timely implementation of quarantine best
practices. Therefore it might be productive to remind ourselves of which quarantine best practices had proven universally effective in the past so we can apply them to our current times to better prevent and treat pandemic illness from here on in.

Quarantine best practices have included the use of physical distancing, disinfectants, masks, gloves, screening, quarantine facilities at travel hubs, self isolation and the strategic use of lockdowns. At the outbreak stage the use of non-privacy invading point of origin testing and associated contact tracing is most practical to prevent it from spreading to the community. After the contagion is community-wide however, the use of testing and contact tracing the general public is primarily ineffective.

Most importantly, quarantine best practices include much needed “travel bans” which are orders of magnitude more effective than just “travel restrictions.” This is especially the case at the crucial outbreak stage of a pandemic where the goal should be to prevent inbound infections.

A Word About One World Government

The coronavirus failures in implementation are also structural in nature and to overlook them would be irresponsible.

Not only did the UN and it’s “WHO” – at the very least – negligently handle the global pandemic that’s infected over 13 million, taken the lives of over half a million and

-3-

CROSS+ROADS

permanently injured countless more; but also destroyed the economies, businesses, livelihoods, savings and the sustenance of billions of people worldwide, all in one fell swoop. And their negligence could’ve been far worse, it could’ve wiped out humanity. Fortunately it didn’t, this time. So for those of us fortunate to still be around, we should be grateful for the luxury to evaluate them now – and any proposed “one world government” scheme.

In one sentence: By their utter failure to recommend proper quarantine best practices regarding the Covid19 coronavirus from the outset, the UN and it’s WHO have thoroughly demonstrated they’re completely unqualified to handle any significant responsibility or have any authority over the national security, common good or lives of the citizens of any city, state, country or continent.

And while the UN/WHO insists that “no one” (especially themselves) could have seen the Covid19 coronavirus coming, speculation abounds as to why they didn’t proclaim it as an “official pandemic” well after it qualified as one – even by their own standards – a month earlier. One popular explanation called the “conflict of interest theory,” proposes that if the UN/WHO proclaimed – what was then obvious – that the coronavirus was a pandemic at the crucial outbreak stage, then they’d have immediately contradicted the justification for their own existence by reaffirming that nations are best served by exercising their own autonomous, sovereign powers to protect and regulate themselves.

If countries utilized their own sovereignty to regulate their own medical science, border controls, screening, contact tracing, protective gear and other preventative and proactive quarantine best practices according to their independent needs effectively, then it would be another nail in the coffin of the UN/WHO and any “one world government’s” justification to rule and dominate nations.

What’s more, any future governing role for the UN/WHO becomes superseded by each country’s record of success. If through their own experts and experience, they proved further developed, better positioned and suited to advise themselves on their unique requirements more than any outsider, and make the timely adjustments required according to their distinct and shifting degrees of necessity, the UN/WHO is out of a job.

This runs counter to the UN/WHO’s slogans of “solidarity,” “unity” and “feelings of identity” used to justify their power and control over nations. Whatever the UN and “one world government” proponents say they intend, has proven to be the opposite, while empowering a select few and their invisible donors to in effect, run the world.

-4-

CROSS+ROADS

If the “conflict of interest theory” is accurate, then the UN/WHO have immediately disqualified themselves by putting their own justification to exist – and therefore their survival – above the very nations they say they want to protect and rule, and have thus exposed themselves as ruthless, tyrannical frauds acting in the name of peace, health and prosperity. And if the “conflict of interest theory” is inaccurate, then at the very least the UN/WHO and “one world government” proponents have proven themselves to be the one size fits all, non-self correcting, impractical, ineffective, lethal danger to life on earth that they are.

Catholic Errors

With the last full operation of the Traditional Catholic Church taking place over half a century ago (since the 1962 Second Vatican Council, also known as Vatican II), it could also be said that many Catholic best practices have fallen by the wayside to the point of being discounted, forgotten, or in some cases even held in contempt. A review of history might be useful:

• In 1962 the authors of Vatican II proclaimed that in the name of ecumenism, Catholicism had to be modernized. They insisted upon the removal of over a millennium of Catholic practices deemed as out-dated theological obsticals, in order to convert primarily heretical Protestants to the true Christian Church, The Catholic Church. This in turn, hid and distorted underlying fundamental Catholic theology that distinguished it from it’s heretical offshoots. Moreover, it hid and distorted key Catholic theology and practices that provided it’s own Catholic members with Graces for Salvation. Consequently in the name of building a bridge to bring heretical Protestants over to Catholicism, Vatican II built a bridge that brought Catholics over to heretical Protestantism.

• The marginalization of Catholic Authenticity: The Catholic Church teaches infallibly, “extra ecclesiam nulla salus,” or, “outside the Church there is no salvation.” This dogma is backed by 2 doctrinal councils, 14 popes and 11 saints which include the most prominent Doctors of the Church. This didn’t go over well amongst the Protestant advisors to Vatican II, and as a result is not well known amongst today’s Catholics. Consequently, religious equivalency is now a common belief among Catholics today, and unfortunately more so amongst former Catholics.

• The marginalization of The Church’s Commandments: Among the manifold casualties

-5-

CROSS+ROADS

of Vatican II was the familiarity of the faithful with the Commandments of the Catholic Church, which include the 10 Commandments. But because of Vatican II, many Catholics don’t know the difference between the Catholic, Protestant or even secular interpretations of the Commandments. Unlike Catholicism for example, many Protestant sects interpret them to allow for abortion, premarital sex, homosexuality and contraception. Unfortunately this has now carried over into mainstream Catholic practice and led many to sin and to adopt a philosophy of moral relativism.

Another casualty of Vatican II was a category of sin upon which both our immediate and long term futures depend: “Sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance.” They are:

A. Murder (includes abortion, euthanasia, unjust wars)
B. Homosexuality (includes LBGTQ lifestyles)
C. Oppression of widows and orphans (includes larger civil liberty violations and unjust sanctions upon the innocent citizens of other nations)
D. Defrauding wage earners of their rightful due

We need to ask ourselves if the Church since Vatican II – and therefore the world since Vatican II – has either become more opposing or more enabling of these. Unfortunately the evidence is overwhelmingly condemning, and accounts for the manifold predicaments we’re all now in, spiritually and materially; and this on an individual, familial, societal, national and global basis – and it’s only set to get worse unless corrective measures are taken.

What’s more, some prelates in the Church are willing participants in these sins as with surge of Church abuse scandals since Vatican II. Compounded with sins of homosexuality were sins of oppression upon the victims who were essentially orphans – at least situationally – and victims to Catholic prelates no less. And what of the Vatican’s abuses of “Peter’s Pence,” the money intended for orphans, widows and those in need only to be misused by self-aggrandizing, corrupt prelates? And worse – yes there’s worse – what of the current unofficial Church-wide policy of non-condemnation against the heinous sin of abortion – the murder of the unborn? And worst of all, what of all those now in hell as a result of all of this?

These sins are now enabled and committed by the very same people – Church prelates – who were entrusted to disable and terminate them. Consequently, the sins crying for vengeance are now not only upon the world but also directly upon the post Vatican II Catholic Church. And they are piling up fast.

-6-

CROSS+ROADS

• The marginalization of the Christ in the Sacraments: Under the direction of 6 Protestant ministers, the Catholic Mass itself was “modernized” by effectively dismantling the sacrifice of Christ that focused upon God, to become a celebratory meal focused upon the laity. Many tabernacles containing the Sacramental presence of Christ were physically removed from the center of churches to side chapels, and replaced with a chair for the priest – a man – to sit in God’s place. A Protestant table replaced the alter, from which the priest now faced the people to principally serve a meal. The laity – like Protestants who don’t believe in the real presence – are discouraged from kneeling before Christ’s Sacramental presence during Holy Communion and – also like Protestants – are encouraged to receive Holy Communion in the hand. This was once a privilege that only priests had – and with using only 2 fingers of each hand.

• The marginalization of the Blessed Virgin Mary: God had already made it clear by example, dogma, doctrine, theology and the writings of the Saints; that He not only comes to us through Mary, but wants us to come to Him by her. The Blessed Virgin Mary is not just the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Queen of the Angels, Mediatrix of All Graces and more, but she is also the one who will crush the head of the devil. It is for these reasons and more that we should honor her accordingly, and give her our filial devotion. God wants it so, irregardless of what Protestants want. In many Churches for example, her statues have been removed, her rosary neither propagated nor prayed, nor her first Saturday devotions carried out.

• The marginalization of authentic scripture: Not well known amongst Christians, Protestants had already removed many books from the Bible in order to not contradict themselves and expose their heresies. But in order to not expose the errors of Vatican II, scripture in many Catholic Bibles was altered to more easily coincide with the heresies of the Protestants. For example, Protestants neither believe in Mary’s Immaculate Conception nor her power over the devil, nor hold her in any great
esteem. Therefore, “Hail, full of Grace” was changed to, “Hail, highly favored daughter” (Saint Luke 1:28) or something similar. Yet it was through Mary’s Immaculate Conception that she was born in God’s Grace, sinless – even without original sin – which combined with her sublime surrender to God’s will, had the requisite Grace to be the Mother of God. Like Eve she was born sinless, but unlike Eve she remained sinless. And that credit goes to her. Mary thus gave the human race a second chance through her subsequent ‘yes’ to God in place of Eve’s ‘no.’ And at the very least we owe her an immense debt of gratitude, honor and devotion.

-7-

CROSS+ROADS

Similar scriptural alterations were also made regarding Mary’s foreshadowed role as the second Eve in Genesis as the “woman”, “…she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel” was changed to “he shall strike your head, and you shall strike his heel” or to the more confusing “it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel” etc. (Genesis 3:15).

Another example is Saint Paul’s “The greatest is charity” was changed to “the greatest is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). From that point “Love” could easily be spun to mean romantic love, sexual love or fraternal love etc.. And spun it was. But the example of Christ Who gave His life for us confirms it’s that particular selfless form of love known as, “charity” (Saint John 15:13, 2 Saint John 1:6). Also “Angels” were demoted to “messengers” and the “Gospel of Saint John” became “The Gospel of John” (Protestants don’t recognize Catholic Saints).

• The marginalization of conversion (Saint Matthew 28:19): One of the many consequences of Vatican II was a new found, disproportionate fixation upon the corporal works of mercy:

– Feed the hungry
– Give drink to the thirsty – Clothe the naked
– Shelter the homeless
– Visit the sick
– Visit the imprisoned
– Give alms to the poor
– Bury the dead

However admirable, none of these directives alone give credit to their supernatural source: Christ. And none of them alone incur merit, longevity or true success without Him and a Catholic in sanctifying Grace through which to do them. That’s because God put service to Him first and foremost, not service to man (Saint Matthew 7:21-23).

As a result, corporeal works of mercy meant to provide a vehicle for the supernatural, eternal salvation for another’s spiritual needs, were eclipsed by exclusive focus upon the natural, temporary relief for another’s material needs. And this became the norm since 1962. Thus Vatican II advanced the aggrandizement of humanitarianism for the sake of a brotherhood of man, at the expense of Catholicism for the sake of God and His children. This man-centered inversion of reality and of God’s priorities was warned

-8-

CROSS+ROADS

about by many popes (St. Pope Pius X, Pascendi Dominici Gregis, 1907; Pope Leo XIII, Humanum Genus, 1884, etc.)

What could’ve kept the eyes of the faithful on the true Faith? The inclusion and rightful prioritization upon the spiritual works of mercy over the corporeal ones:

– Admonish sinners
– Instruct the uninformed
– Counsel the doubtful
– Comfort the sorrowful
– Be patient with those in error
– Forgive offenses
– Pray for the living and the dead

To admonish, instruct, counsel, comfort and pray in such contexts employs – in some manner – the true Faith, Catholicism, and the opportunity for repentance or conversion through sharing that Faith. Unfortunately, today some of these are not just considered politically incorrect, but almost civil rights violations. Again we need to ask ourselves, how did we get to this point? Would political correctness have become this dysfunctionally warped here in 2020, if the Church wasn’t so resigned to “not offend the Protestants” for the last 58 years, and had been more outspoken and observant of the spiritual works of mercy? Today censorship of Christianity is a daily occurrence, standard amongst most of western mainstream and social media.

And yet that’s not even the real problem. The real problem is people going to hell, the demolition of the Church from within, and life on earth on the verge of destruction, courtesy of Vatican II.

• The marginalization of the family: Vatican II promulgated that the foundation of civilization was “the community,” and not the family. But for over a millennium the Catholic Church taught that it was the family – not the community that was the foundation for society, as the family was considered a type of micro-society, from which civilization was built. But extended families became nuclear families, nuclear families became remarried families, those became single parent families, then arose same sex couple families, and those became transgender families, and those became single parent transgender families, etc.. What a total and complete mess. What if the focus had remained on supporting and strengthening the family in the first place?

• The advancement of the Modernism heresy: The poisonous fruits of Vatican II should

-9-

CROSS+ROADS

be apparent by now (Matthew 7:15). In the name of ecumenism the smoke of satan did indeed enter the Catholic Church (Pope Paul VI, June 29 1972). Unfortunately for many, this has only become clear with 20/20 hindsight, here in – yes – 2020. Let us take a moment to rub our eyes to see: The Catholic Church was mislead into conforming to the trends and beliefs of heretical Protestants, who themselves were conforming to the trends and beliefs of the world.

Modernism: “A movement toward modifying traditional beliefs in accordance with modern ideas, especially in the Roman Catholic Church” (Wikipedia).

Modernism: “It is an attempt to transform the Kingdom of God into the Kingdom of Man, to substitute for the Church consecrated to the worship of God, a Church dedicated to the cult of Humanity. This is the most dreadful, the most terrible of heresies” (Marcel de Corte, 1965). (For more on Modernism see St. Pope Pius X, Pascendi Dominici Gregis, 1907)

The problem with changing Catholicism to fit the fashion and trends of the day, is that absolute truths don’t change. That’s why they’re called “absolute” and “infallible.” The expression “written in stone” originally referred to the 10 Commandments – written by God himself – into stone tablets to denote their permanence. And like them, Church dogma and doctrine are not open to revision, being that they declare infallibly the absolute truths which God has revealed. Period.

Yet amongst the plethora of Vatican II’s misguiding deceptions
and calculated ambiguity, the most important truth to recognize is this: VATICAN II WAS NOT A DOCTRINAL COUNCIL. IT WAS A NON-BINDING, PASTORAL COUNCIL AND THEREFORE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE OBSERVED. Just because it “mentions” previous doctrinal councils or saints here or there, changes nothing. They were cleverly intermingled within it’s text and provide the illusion of validated legitimacy, when in fact Vatican II was never authoritative, and to say otherwise is a lie.

Catholic Error Consequences

As a result of neglecting Catholic best practices, a pandemic of sin has infected the Mystical Body of Christ, the Catholic Church, since Vatican II. And this spiritual illness has multiplied at an exponential rate worldwide. Relatively recent statistics (Official Catholic Directory) reveal that within the course of several decades (since 1962) there has been a global:

– 10 –

CROSS+ROADS

13% decrease in infant baptisms
28% decrease in religious sisters
31% decrease in Sunday Mass attendance 33% decrease in priests
48% decrease in ordinations
55% decrease in graduate level seminarians 60% decrease in marrying in the Church

And if we take relatively recent US statistics (Pew Research), we find even more alarming numbers that could indicate a much larger global average:

9% of U.S. Catholics are remarried (without annulment)
25% of U.S. Catholics are divorced
28% of raised Catholics have left the Church
36% of U.S. Catholics are uncertain of God’s existence
38% of U.S. Catholics support raising children by a single parent 39% of of U.S. Catholics support homosexual behavior

43% of U.S. Catholics support raising children by a homosexual couple 43% of U.S. Catholics don’t consider abortion a sin
46% U.S. of Catholics support gay marriage
48% of Catholics support raising children by unmarried parents

61% of U.S. Catholics support unmarried cohabitation
62% of U.S. Catholics support remarriages (without annulment)
69% of U.S. Catholics do not believe in transubstantiation
76% of U.S. Catholics support birth control
79% of U.S. Catholics don’t rely on the Catholic Church’s teaching for moral guidance

Many of those numbers were from 5-6 years ago, and by the time you read this those numbers will be much higher. More significant but not listed here, are the untold numbers of people who are now in hell as a direct or indirect result of Vatican II.

Catholic Best Practices

Therefore it might be productive to briefly remind ourselves of what Catholic best practices had proven universally effective in the past, so we can apply them to our current times, in order to better prevent and treat the pandemic of spiritual illness called

– 11 –

CROSS+ROADS

sin that’s infected the Mystical Body of Christ, the Catholic Church…

• To recognize fundamental priorities by application of the Catholic Faith: To recognize that God is all that matters and anything else that matters should be according to His prioritization, not ours. Accordingly, we need to consult the dogmas, doctrine, theology and tradition of the Catholic Church before 1962 – most of which are infallibly declared – to clarify what God’s priorities are and what their correct application is. For the faithful this could begin with studying the pre-1962 Baltimore Catechism and The Catechism of The Council of Trent.

Prelates and priests should be proficient in the Catholic Faith according to the traditions of the apostles, the holy fathers and doctors of the Church. Of these doctors particular study should be given to Saint Thomas Aquinas, and of the holy fathers Pope Saint Pius the X and Pope Leo the XIII. They should also be well versed in the eight holy universal councils and in the 255 dogmas of the Catholic Church. Prelates and priests should also expose those under their care, to the shortcomings of the Christian heretical sects so that the faithful be better rooted in the true Faith.

• To identify the threat of evil and defend against it, and mitigate the process of degeneration: The faithful need to know the Catholic version of the Commandments as a first point of reference to identify sin; and that the flesh, devil and the world are the sources of the threats to keeping those Commandments, maintaining the spiritual health of the soul and that of the Mystical Body of Christ, The Church. The faithful need to know the Catholic teaching on the virtues and vices. Due to a fallen, disordered and weak human nature, the more we set our own priorities in conforming to the flesh, the devil and the world, the easier we fall into vice and spiritual blindness, unable to recognize and thus conform to God’s priorities. This increasingly puts ourselves at odds with God Himself as we fall into greater darkness and thus greater errors, which can then get further exasperated by the breaking of His Commandments – the mortal sins deserving of eternal damnation.

Consequently we then go from receiving God’s mercy to receiving God’s justice, we go from everything to nothing. Likewise we go from implementing the Divine order of Christ and His Church throughout the world according to Christ’s priorities, to implementing – intentionally or not – the twisted, anti-Divine disorder of the anti-christ and his anti-church throughout the world, according to the devil’s priorities. And the more that this persists, the worse everything gets. And all of this has happened at an accelerated rate since 1962 – and it’s still happening – right now. And so here we are in 2020.

– 12 –

CROSS+ROADS

It’s been said that the greatest trick of the devil is to have people believe he doesn’t exist. The laws, dogma, doctrine, tradition and theology of the Catholic Church (pre 1962) referred to above, help us recognize truth from falsehood and good from evil. This makes any “invisible enemy” more visible, and can then be more easily reckoned with at the greatest distance.

A failed exemplar of this took place when the Vatican officially approved of the Harry Potter series in the 2000’s whereupon millions of children and adults then readily introduced witchcraft into their lives, their homes and neighborhoods. Likewise, evil began a new assault upon their souls, their family’s and that of their neighbor’s. Harry Potter then went on to become a global phenomenon selling upward of half a billion volumes not to mention the $7.7+ billion in movie sales. Evil was then able to launch a new assault upon families, neighborhoods, cities, states, countries and upon the Church and world. Do you seriously think the pre-Vatican II, pre-1962 Catholic Church would have given It’s approval for Harry Potter?

• To maintain a state of Grace by living a Sacramental life: Daily Mass should be a real objective, and confession immediately upon the commission of a mortal sin. Abstaining from even a deliberate venial sin is imperative and if it happens, to confess it as well. The Sacrament of Penance should be available at least once daily before a daily Mass, and available by appointment if necessary . A take home printout that details the process for a good examination of conscience should be available outside the confessional and online. Online parish websites should have Mass and confession schedules and also emergency numbers front and center on their homepage.

• Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary: Includes reciting her daily Rosary, wearing her brown scapular, fulfilling her Fatima requests including the Five First Saturday devotion (which I will enumerate upon further below) and a personal consecration – as well as that of one’s family – to her Immaculate Heart. Additionally it should include the daily angelus and honoring her on her feast days. It also should encompass reading the writings of the Saints regarding her, including those of Saint Louis de Montfort and Saint Alphonsus de Liguori.

• Reinforcement of the Sacramental life: With daily prayer, penance, Catholic spiritual reading and Catholic meditation. Central to these are the daily Rosary, abstaining from meat on at least Fridays, The Stations of the Cross (also on at least Fridays), spiritual reading from a Catholic Bible (Douay Rheims) or the Saints (by the Saints themselves or biographical accounts such as Butler’s), and meditating on the 4 last things: Death,

– 13 –

CROSS+ROADS

judgement, heaven, hell. Note – reading Saint Alphonsus de Liguori will usually accomplish both spiritual reading and meditation on the 4 last things, simultaneously.

• Additional spiritual exercises beneficial to the faithful include the First Friday Devotion to Our Lord’s Sacred Heart, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, additional fasts and abstinences, corporal and spiritual works of mercy (which include sharing the Catholic Faith), devotion to the seven dolors (sorrows) of Mary, being a good example

and offering up one’s sufferings in union with Christ’s for the salvation of souls and intentions of Our Blessed Mother, including the expiation of our sins.

• The use of sacramentals to augment Divine protection: Such as the Brown Scapular, Saint Benedict and Miraculous Medals and Crucifix. So also is having ones dwelling blessed by a Catholic priest and consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and to use holy water in the home and where and when needed.

The Quarantine/Lent Connection

The above best practices are just a sample, and have been accumulated and honed by the Catholic Church for 1,962 years and were easily doubled down upon during Lent. It has been said that if the member’s of the Catholic Church won’t voluntarily do proper penance, God will impose it upon it them, involuntarily. And so again I say, here we are in 2020 and those chickens have come home to roost.

Because of the massive neglect of Catholic best practices since 1962, the Mystical Body of Christ has suffered from a pandemic of sin and consequently the world has suffered as a result. Providentially the reality of this has circled back upon the Church in the midst of this pandemic during the 40 days of Lent and viral quarantine of 2020, to not only remind the Church of it’s culpability for it, but also the need for It to practice real penance according to what penance use to be – and what it’s still supposed to be; and all according to what the Church used to be – and what it’s still supposed to be.

We are thus reminded that the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church – is sick with sin, and that our Lenten practices require us to go far beyond just giving up just chocolate – for example – and that the Church needs to return to the foundational best practices it formed for over a millennia to return It to health and consequently the world with it. IT WILL REQUIRE AMONG OTHER THINGS, AN ONGOING VOLUNTARY PENANCE, AN ONGOING PERSONAL LENT.

– 14 –

CROSS+ROADS

If nothing changes for the better and soon, then both the Church and the world will suffer in direct proportion to their culpability. The current global pandemic has put us all on notice. What will you do? What will you change, what will you improve? What contribution can you make toward dialing back the inevitable chastisements that could otherwise follow? We all need to begin reflection and rectification, immediately.

Otherwise God’s justice could continue to accelerate in severity until His message is received loud and clear, and far worse penances could be imposed upon an already uncooperative and impenitent Church and world. We must recognize this pandemic as a shot off the bow – a warning – and repent, do penance and make amends accordingly.

Challenges and Powerful Remedies

1.Q. What if our past sins make our current offerings less effective for the Church and the world, because we still need to do so much undone penance for ourselves?

1.A. A comprehensive examination of conscience (even going back to the beginning of one’s life) followed by a thorough general confession and the completion of the prescribed penance is a good start. It sometimes happens we dismiss our sins and attachments as not sins or dangerous attachments because of extenuating circumstances, or because they caused another to sin or suffer remotely, or because it was not what we did but that which we didn’t do – that offended God. All must be examined with thorough introspection and confessed as well. Every parish should have handouts outside the confessional listing the Commandments of the Church with detailed explanations including the criteria for different sins, and with it a guide for a thorough examination of conscience and how to make a good confession.

We can further expedite the removal of temporal punishment still due us by prayer, penance and almsgiving. The greatest of these three being the sacrifice of the Mass then followed by the rosary. Moreover, the completion of indulgences reduces the temporal punishment still due us, and the primacy of these belongs to obtaining a “plenary” indulgence, and we should strive to do so frequently (once daily is maximum), because we never really know if we are fully predisposed to receive it. But it will be more likely with the Masses, Rosaries, penance and almsgiving added. The greater we minimize the temporal punishment due us because of our sins, the greater the quality and quantity of our spiritual output for the Church and the world, all by the Grace of

– 15 –

CROSS+ROADS

God, through Our Blessed Mother.

2.Q. Doesn’t Russia need to be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the pope and bishops for there to be true peace for the Church and the world? Is this not what Our Lady of Fatima said? And if so, how can this happen with so many prelates predisposed against it, and so few for it?

2.A. Yes, and the pope should consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary ASAP, with or without the cooperation of the bishops. He can do so by stipulating that those bishops that refuse to do so are “ipso facto” no longer bishops, then he is guaranteed a united cadre of bishops to fulfill the requirement.

At this point it’s of paramount importance for us to dispel a false argument that’s “plagued” the Church and world for a century. I believe it was concocted by the enemies of God, His Church and mankind, to dismiss God’s command to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The false argument was this: That all things Fatima are categorically a “private revelation,” therefore all of it should be considered neither obligatory to believe in, nor to adhere to. This tragically was and still is, a lie.

Why? Because the particular request for the pope – in union with the bishops of the world – to consecrate Russia was uniquely backed by an act of Divine testimony, by the miracle of the sun on October 13, 1917. This takes the request out of the exclusive category of private revelation and elevates it to the realm of proven Divine and supernatural origin, making it absolutely certain that God has revealed and imposed that obligation upon the pope and the bishops, which then must be obeyed.

Was it not our Lord Who said, “Though you will not believe Me, believe the works” (Saint John 10:38)? The miracle of the sun on October 13, 1917 was an act of Divine testimony and a fulfillment of biblical prophecy (Revelation 12:1), authenticating the message of Fatima to consecrate Russia to The Immaculate Heart of Mary as of Divine and supernatural origin, which obedience thereupon is commanded. That’s why a previous pope – John Paul II – taught that the message of Fatima “imposes a commitment on the Church.” That commitment is to consecrate specifically Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Not to consecrate Eurasia, not the world, not the solar system, not the Milky Way, not the universe, but to solely and specifically to consecrate Russia – by name – to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

3.Q. How can Catholic best practices be effective at turning things around this late in the game – including obtaining more graces toward the consecration of Russia – with so

CROSS+ROADS

few practicing and/or devout Catholics with which to implement them?

3.A. Through the multiplyer of the Communion of Saints. Not just a storehouse of indulgences, but by the Communion of Saints – via The Mystical Body of Christ, The Catholic Church – a means exists to multiply Graces abundantly through Our Blessed Mother’s intercession. This is even more effective if we have made the Saint Louis de Montfort consecration to her. And the efficacy of our Rosaries are likewise multiplied by joining Saint Louis de Montfort’s Confraternity of the Rosary which incidentally, qualifies our Rosary for a plenary indulgence (under the usual conditions).

Moreover, the faithful may follow the example of Our Lord and carry the cross for those who – for whatever reason – cannot. So after making the Five First Saturday devotions requested at Fatima for ourselves, we can (and should in these critical times) continue to make them for others – i.e. for those who cannot – in the spirit of carrying our brother’s and sister’s crosses, offering them up to Our Lord through Our Lady to distribute as she sees fit. This could dramatically help accelerate the attainment of the graces necessary toward Russia’s consecration.

Furthermore, we can do the same with our Rosary. After praying our daily Rosary, we can offer up a 2nd, completely for another. While we’re used to praying for our own intentions (which might include another’s), this differs because it’s effectively praying another person’s Rosary for them. We can then ask Our Lady to give all of the merits of it to the one proposed, or to one she proposes. This could provide the recipient added benefits – usually reserved only for the one praying the Rosary – which includes among others, protection from heresy. This could be efficacious for a prelate of good will for example, but who’s nevertheless weak and drifting toward heresy.

In the meantime, the faithful can endeavor to fulfill the other requests of Our Lady of Fatima which not only include the daily Rosary and the Five First Saturday devotion, but also devotion to Her Immaculate Heart, wearing the brown scapular, praying the seven Fatima prayers and dressing modestly.

Yours in Jesus through Mary

IF THE ALL-POWERFUL, OMNISCIENT WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION IS TO BE BELIEVED, IT IS CRAZY FOR US, ORDINARY CITIZENS, TO BE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS

Subject: Masks from – Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

Conclusions from Organizations

The World Health Organization (WHO):

“Advice to decision makers on the use of masks for healthy people in community settings

As described above, the wide use of masks by healthy people in the community setting is not supported by current evidence and carries uncertainties and critical risks.”

“Medical masks should be reserved for health care workers. The use of medical masks in the community may create a false sense of security, with neglect of other essential measures, such as hand hygiene practices and physical distancing, and may lead to touching the face under the masks and under the eyes, result in unnecessary costs, and take masks away from those in health care who need them most, especially when masks are in short supply.”

“Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.”

WHO acknowledges that most people do not use masks properly.

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the Center for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases:

https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2020/t0131-2019-novel-coronavirus.html

“We don’t routinely recommend the use of face masks by the public to prevent respiratory illness,” said on January 31. “And we certainly are not recommending that at this time for this new virus.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/professionals/infectioncontrol/maskguidance.htm

In March 5, 2019 regarding the flu: “Masks are not usually recommended in non-healthcare settings; however, this guidance provides other strategies for limiting the spread of influenza viruses in the community:

  • cover their nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing,
  • use tissues to contain respiratory secretions and, after use, to dispose of them in the nearest waste receptacle, and
  • perform hand hygiene (e.g., handwashing with non-antimicrobial soap and water, and alcohol-based hand rub if soap and water are not available) after having contact with respiratory secretions and contaminated objects/materials.

From the New England Journal of Medicine

https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp2006372

“We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.”

CORRECTION OF A POSTING PROBLEM

Hi everyone

There was a problem with script layout on Bishop Gracida’s posting of my recent email titled Antonio Socci on That Angelus Address Pullback

Half way across the column, the script cut out.

Bishop Gracida has corrected that so that it can now be easily read.

He has posted it under a new title:- THE MYSTERY OF THE SUNDAY ANGELUS TALK BY Jorge Bergolio

 Here is the link:-      https://abyssum.org/2020/07/11/the-mystery-of-the-sunday-angelus-talk-by-jorge-bergolio/
Further to that, please find below the link to a YouTube interview of Bishop Gracida with Michael Voris of Church Militant which was conducted in April, 2016.

In this interview Bishop Gracida states forcefully & compellingly that Catholic laity need to publicly call out heresy when it preached from the pulpit, and that it makes no sense to suffer in silence in the face of this type of teaching coming from the clergy……..a powerful piece of footage if ever I saw one!!!

My ensuing  thought on this, is that we the laity, need to stand up against false teaching whether the announcer of it is Priest….Bishop….. Archbishop….. Cardinal…..or Bergoglio.

Here goes with this riveting interview.

God Bless & stay close to the Lord & His Holy Mother every day.
