INFORMED SOURCES IN THE VATICAN SAY THAT Jorge Bergolio WILL RESIGN WHATEVER OFFICE HE HOLDS IN THE VATICAN NEXT WEEK.

WHAT HAPPENS IF BERGOGLIO STEPS DOWN NEXT WEEK?

January 2, 2021 A. D. — The rumor that Bergoglio would resign in 2020 — which was launched by Austen Ivereigh after Bergoglio viciously slapped the Chinese woman on New years Day, last year  — has turned out to be merely that, a rumor. 2020 has passed and 2021 has come, and Bergoglio still remains.

But now other voices, here in Rome, are saying that Bergoglio will likely resign after the Solemnity of the Epiphany, when the new law on the Roman Curia will be published. In an attempt to downplay the reasons for such a resignation, voices say it is because he was elected to reform the Curia, and having finished his job, he recognizes that it is time for him to move on.

That is the cover story, at the very least.

The truth is more likely that the College of Cardinals, which regards the Vatican as its private Club House, is enraged at Parolin’s investment schemes which caused 10 years of Peter’s Pence to disappear in a real estate swindle, thus destroying world wide credibility in the most public international fundraising effort which the Vatican conducts annually, not to mention a very great loss to the Vatican balance sheet, including 50 million dollars in Bergoglio’s personal account. That’s a real Ouch to the kind of man Bergoglio really is!

But there is another problem: Bergoglio cannot resign and if he does so, he and the entire College of Cardinals will be in a fix.

Because since Pope Benedict XVI never renounced according to canon 332 (because he renounced the ministerium not the munus of the Petrine Office), Bergoglio has nothing to renounce.

And if he act as if he does, then he will have to simulate a resignation according to canon 332.

And that’s not easy to do.

Because if Bergoglio renounces the ministerium, not the munus, then some will say he has not renounced. Others will ask why he has chosen to use the same words as Benedict, thus affirming Benedict’s continuing magisterium. Both are serious. In the first case, some Bergoglians will end up sustaining the position of Catholics and thus inadvertently prove that Benedict is still the pope. In the latter case, Bergoglio will seemingly deny his own magisterium, and thus imply that Benedict is still the pope.

If Bergoglio does issue a text of renunciation, watch which words he uses, because they will reveal the whole plot to make Pope Benedict XVI appear to have renounced completely in 2013.

But the other problem is, that when Bergoglio steps down, the College of Cardinals will have a problem. They cannot convene a conclave so long as there is a Pope living, who has not renounced the munus of the Petrine Office.

And even if they convinced Pope Benedict XVi to do that, the present composition of the College is incapable of validly electing a Roman Pontiff, because it contains persons who are manifestly not Cardinals or Catholics.

Also, there is the problem of when to call the Conclave and where to house the Cardinals.  Bergoglio has taken over Santa Marta which is where they should reside during a conclave.  Also, a Conclave can only be called after the death or resignation of a true pope, not an antipope.  Any action by a College of Cardinals, made up of solely valid cardinals, would still be invalid if they attempted to hold a conclave after the resignation or death of an antipope.

I, and many many faithful Catholics the world over, who recognize that Pope Benedict XVI is still the only true Pope and that he was forced out by a coup d’etat, pray that the Cardinals — after Bergoglio leaves the scene — snap back into their senses.  And there will be an intense lobbying effort to obtain that, after Bergoglio exists stage extreme left.

I think the NWO wants him to resign before Benedict dies so as to diffuse any attempt in electing a successor to Benedict if Benedict dies while Bergoglio still is in power. You see, the NWO is all about narrative control and psychological control. If Bergoglio steps down and Burke is elected to replace him, then the Antipope Burke would prevent many Catholics from recognizing any need to elect a successor to Benedict when Benedict dies. And Benedict’s death is near now. So they need to replace Bergoglio with someone which will confirm that Bergoglio was a true pope.  This is the real nefarious hand behind the scene.

The other problem is where will Bergoglio go? Argentina does not want him. The Vatican would be insufferable for him, with 2 other popes around: one calling the shots.  Maybe a Gulf State will take him?  God and the Masonic Lodges alone know.

I would nominate him to become the private chaplain of Barrack Obama. But Obama is a Muslim, you may remark. That will make no difference to Bergoglio!

SOME ‘GEMS’ OF WISDOM WORTH REMEMBERING

“Spitballing” on January 2, 2021

By E. P. Unum

I woke up this morning thinking about some of the things several people in journalism and news broadcasting have said over the years.
Journalism and Communications are where I have spent the bulk of my business career and so I am naturally quite interested in the field (and saddened to see what has become of it).
Three of my favorite people in this profession are Tom Brokaw, the late William F. Buckley, and Andy Rooney. I thought I would share some of their famous quotes with you, all of which seems a very good fit for the times in which we live:
William F. Buckley:“Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are indeed other views”
Tom Brokaw:“It’s easy to make a buck. It’s much harder to make a difference”
“It is not enough to wire the entire world if we short-circuit our souls. Technology without heart is just not enough”
“There is no delete button for racism, hatred or bigotry”
“Everywhere I go, from Main Street to Wall Street to Rural towns in mid-America, people ask…What happened to our political system? Why can’t folks in Washington D.C. work together”
Andy Rooney:“Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you are climbing it”
“Being kind is more important than being right”
“You can’t be a good writer without being a good thinker”
“The best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person”
“I’ve learned that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere”
“I’ve learned that walks around the block with my father did wonders for me throughout my life”
There are other journalists and news broadcasters who have also had an impact on me and from time to time I will try to share these with you.
Finally,  since this time of year is special for all Christians…….it is, of course,  the Christmas Season in which we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ….here is one truism worth remembering…. expressed in both Latin and English:
Memento homo quia pulvis est, et pulvarem  reverteras    Remember man thou are dust, and unto dust thou shalt return

Tucker Carlson’s Conservatism Inc. Biden Steal Betrayal is explained by “One of the Greatest Columns ever Written” according to Rush

Why are Tucker Carlson and 90 percent of “conservative” media such the the New York Post and Washington Times as well as “conservative” talk radio like Leghorn’s archenemy George P. Dog not allowed to go passed the line with the sign that reads “Rope Limit”?

Why is the massive voter fraud “constitutional travesty” Biden Steal cover-up of the liberal media and FBI the “Rope Limit”?

Why is even discussing the possibility of the massive voter fraud “constitutional travesty” Biden Steal cover-up of the liberal media and FBI beyond the “Rope Limit”?

Who and/or what has made Tucker Carlson and 90 percent of “conservative” media into George P. Dog with a rope leash and a “Rope Limit.” – Catholic Monitor [http://catholicmonitor.blogspot.com/2020/12/is-tucker-carlson-ridiculous-cartoon_31.html?m=1]

In 2016, Michael Anton wrote the article “The Flight 93 Election” that Rush Limbaugh said was “one of the greatest columns ever written” explaining that that election was “the most important one America has faced in more than a century.”

He said immediately after the 2020 election night that this election was “the most important one America has [ever] faced” and showed that the Joe Biden Steal is a deadly real “coup” that will kill America as a free nation.

The Anton essay “The Flight 93 Election” is more overwhelmingly important now than then if we are to save America from Tucker Carlson’s Conservatism Inc.’s betrayal of the United States to the Biden Steal. Here part of that important article:

Conservatism, Inc.’s, “answer” to the first may, at this point, simply be dismissed. If the conservatives wish to have a serious debate, I for one am game—more than game; eager. The problem of “subjective certainty” can only be overcome by going into the agora. But my attempt to do so—the blog that Kesler mentions—was met largely with incredulity. How can they say that?! How can anyone apparently of our caste (conservative intellectuals) not merely support Trump (however lukewarmly) but offer reasons for doing do?

One of the Journal of American Greatness’s deeper arguments was that only in a corrupt republic, in corrupt times, could a Trump rise. It is therefore puzzling that those most horrified by Trump are the least willing to consider the possibility that the republic is dying. That possibility, apparently, seems to them so preposterous that no refutation is necessary.

As does, presumably, the argument that the stakes in 2016 are—everything. I should here note that I am a good deal gloomier than my (former) JAG colleagues, and that while we frequently used the royal “we” when discussing things on which we all agreed, I here speak only for myself.

How have the last two decades worked out for you, personally? If you’re a member or fellow-traveler of the Davos class, chances are: pretty well. If you’re among the subspecies conservative intellectual or politician, you’ve accepted—perhaps not consciously, but unmistakably—your status on the roster of the Washington Generals of American politics. Your job is to show up and lose, but you are a necessary part of the show and you do get paid. To the extent that you are ever on the winning side of anything, it’s as sophists who help the Davoisie oligarchy rationalize open borders, lower wages, outsourcing, de-industrialization, trade giveaways, and endless, pointless, winless war.

All of Trump’s 16 Republican competitors would have ensured more of the same—as will the election of Hillary Clinton. That would be bad enough. But at least Republicans are merely reactive when it comes to wholesale cultural and political change. Their “opposition” may be in all cases ineffectual and often indistinguishable from support. But they don’t dream up inanities like 32 “genders,” elective bathrooms, single-payer, Iran sycophancy, “Islamophobia,” and Black Lives Matter. They merely help ratify them.

A Hillary presidency will be pedal-to-the-metal on the entire Progressive-left agenda, plus items few of us have yet imagined in our darkest moments. Nor is even that the worst. It will be coupled with a level of vindictive persecution against resistance and dissent hitherto seen in the supposedly liberal West only in the most “advanced” Scandinavian countries and the most leftist corners of Germany and England. We see this already in the censorship practiced by the Davoisie’s social media enablers; in the shameless propaganda tidal wave of the mainstream media; and in the personal destruction campaigns—operated through the former and aided by the latter—of the Social Justice Warriors. We see it in Obama’s flagrant use of the IRS to torment political opponents, the gaslighting denial by the media, and the collective shrug by everyone else.

It’s absurd to assume that any of this would stop or slow—would do anything other than massively intensify—in a Hillary administration. It’s even more ridiculous to expect that hitherto useless conservative opposition would suddenly become effective. For two generations at least, the Left has been calling everyone to their right Nazis. This trend has accelerated exponentially in the last few years, helped along by some on the Right who really do seem to merit—and even relish—the label. There is nothing the modern conservative fears more than being called “racist,” so alt-right pocket Nazis are manna from heaven for the Left. But also wholly unnecessary: sauce for the goose. The Left was calling us Nazis long before any pro-Trumpers tweeted Holocaust denial memes. And how does one deal with a Nazi—that is, with an enemy one is convinced intends your destruction? You don’t compromise with him or leave him alone. You crush him.

So what do we have to lose by fighting back? Only our Washington Generals jerseys—and paychecks. But those are going away anyway. Among the many things the “Right” still doesn’t understand is that the Left has concluded that this particular show need no longer go on. They don’t think they need a foil anymore and would rather dispense with the whole bother of staging these phony contests in which each side ostensibly has a shot.

If you haven’t noticed, our side has been losing consistently since 1988. We can win midterms, but we do nothing with them. Call ours Hannibalic victories. After the Carthaginian’s famous slaughter of a Roman army at Cannae, he failed to march on an undefended Rome, prompting his cavalry commander to complain: “you know how to win a victory, but not how to use one.” And, aside from 2004’s lackluster 50.7%, we can’t win the big ones at all.

Because the deck is stacked overwhelmingly against us. I will mention but three ways. First, the opinion-making elements—the universities and the media above all—are wholly corrupt and wholly opposed to everything we want, and increasingly even to our existence. (What else are the wars on “cis-genderism”—formerly known as “nature”—and on the supposed “white privilege” of broke hillbillies really about?) If it hadn’t been abundantly clear for the last 50 years, the campaign of 2015-2016 must surely have made it evident to even the meanest capacities that the intelligentsia—including all the organs through which it broadcasts its propaganda—is overwhelmingly partisan and biased. Against this onslaught, “conservative” media is a nullity, barely a whisper. It cannot be heard above the blaring of what has been aptly called “The Megaphone.”

Second, our Washington Generals self-handicap and self-censor to an absurd degree. Lenin is supposed to have said that “the best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.” But with an opposition like ours, why bother? Our “leaders” and “dissenters” bend over backward to play by the self-sabotaging rules the Left sets for them. Fearful, beaten dogs have more thymos.

Third and most important, the ceaseless importation of Third World foreigners with no tradition of, taste for, or experience in liberty means that the electorate grows more left, more Democratic, less Republican, less republican, and less traditionally American with every cycle. As does, of course, the U.S. population, which only serves to reinforce the two other causes outlined above. This is the core reason why the Left, the Democrats, and the bipartisan junta (categories distinct but very much overlapping) think they are on the cusp of a permanent victory that will forever obviate the need to pretend to respect democratic and constitutional niceties. Because they are.

It’s also why they treat open borders as the “absolute value,” the one “principle” that—when their “principles” collide—they prioritize above all the others. If that fact is insufficiently clear, consider this. Trump is the most liberal Republican nominee since Thomas Dewey. He departs from conservative orthodoxy in so many ways that National Review still hasn’t stopped counting. But let’s stick to just the core issues animating his campaign. On trade, globalization, and war, Trump is to the left (conventionally understood) not only of his own party, but of his Democratic opponent. And yet the Left and the junta are at one with the house-broken conservatives in their determination—desperation—not merely to defeat Trump but to destroy him. What gives?

Oh, right—there’s that other issue. The sacredness of mass immigration is the mystic chord that unites America’s ruling and intellectual classes. Their reasons vary somewhat. The Left and the Democrats seek ringers to form a permanent electoral majority. They, or many of them, also believe the academic-intellectual lie that America’s inherently racist and evil nature can be expiated only through ever greater “diversity.” The junta of course craves cheaper and more docile labor. It also seeks to legitimize, and deflect unwanted attention from, its wealth and power by pretending that its open borders stance is a form of noblesse oblige. The Republicans and the “conservatives”? Both of course desperately want absolution from the charge of “racism.” For the latter, this at least makes some sense. No Washington General can take the court—much less cash his check—with that epithet dancing over his head like some Satanic Spirit. But for the former, this priestly grace comes at the direct expense of their worldly interests. Do they honestly believe that the right enterprise zone or charter school policy will arouse 50.01% of our newer voters to finally reveal their “natural conservatism” at the ballot box? It hasn’t happened anywhere yet and shows no signs that it ever will. But that doesn’t stop the Republican refrain: more, more, more! No matter how many elections they lose, how many districts tip forever blue, how rarely (if ever) their immigrant vote cracks 40%, the answer is always the same. Just like Angela Merkel after yet another rape, shooting, bombing, or machete attack. More, more, more!

This is insane. This is the mark of a party, a society, a country, a people, a civilization that wants to die. Trump, alone among candidates for high office in this or in the last seven (at least) cycles, has stood up to say: I want to live. I want my party to live. I want my country to live. I want my people to live. I want to end the insanity.

Yes, Trump is worse than imperfect. So what? We can lament until we choke the lack of a great statesman to address the fundamental issues of our time—or, more importantly, to connect them. Since Pat Buchanan’s three failures, occasionally a candidate arose who saw one piece: Dick Gephardt on trade, Ron Paul on war, Tom Tancredo on immigration. Yet, among recent political figures—great statesmen, dangerous demagogues, and mewling gnats alike—only Trump-the-alleged-buffoon not merely saw all three and their essential connectivity, but was able to win on them. The alleged buffoon is thus more prudent—more practically wise—than all of our wise-and-good who so bitterly oppose him. This should embarrass them. That their failures instead embolden them is only further proof of their foolishness and hubris.

Which they self-laud as “consistency”—adherence to “conservative principle,” defined by the 1980 campaign and the household gods of reigning conservative think-tanks. A higher consistency in the service of the national interest apparently eludes them. When America possessed a vast, empty continent and explosively growing industry, high immigration was arguably good policy. (Arguably: Ben Franklin would disagree.) It hasn’t made sense since World War I. Free trade was unquestionably a great boon to the American worker in the decades after World War II. We long ago passed the point of diminishing returns. The Gulf War of 1991 was a strategic victory for American interests. No conflict since then has been. Conservatives either can’t see this—or, worse, those who can nonetheless treat the only political leader to mount a serious challenge to the status quo (more immigration, more trade, more war) as a unique evil.

Trump’s vulgarity is in fact a godsend to the conservatives. It allows them to hang their public opposition on his obvious shortcomings and to ignore or downplay his far greater strengths, which should be even more obvious but in corrupt times can be deliberately obscured by constant references to his faults. That the Left would make the campaign all about the latter is to be expected. Why would the Right? Some—a few—are no doubt sincere in their belief that the man is simply unfit for high office. David Frum, who has always been an immigration skeptic and is a convert to the less-war position, is sincere when he says that, even though he agrees with much of Trump’s agenda, he cannot stomach Trump. But for most of the other #NeverTrumpers, is it just a coincidence that they also happen to favor Invade the World, Invite the World?

Another question JAG raised without provoking any serious attempt at refutation was whether, in corrupt times, it took a … let’s say … “loudmouth” to rise above the din of The Megaphone. We, or I, speculated: “yes.” Suppose there had arisen some statesman of high character—dignified, articulate, experienced, knowledgeable—the exact opposite of everything the conservatives claim to hate about Trump. Could this hypothetical paragon have won on Trump’s same issues? Would the conservatives have supported him? I would have—even had he been a Democrat.

Back on planet earth, that flight of fancy at least addresses what to do now. The answer to the subsidiary question—will it work?—is much less clear. By “it” I mean Trumpism, broadly defined as secure borders, economic nationalism, and America-first foreign policy. We Americans have chosen, in our foolishness, to disunite the country through stupid immigration, economic, and foreign policies. The level of unity America enjoyed before the bipartisan junta took over can never be restored.

But we can probably do better than we are doing now. First, stop digging. No more importing poverty, crime, and alien cultures. We have made institutions, by leftist design, not merely abysmal at assimilation but abhorrent of the concept. We should try to fix that, but given the Left’s iron grip on every school and cultural center, that’s like trying to bring democracy to Russia. A worthy goal, perhaps, but temper your hopes—and don’t invest time and resources unrealistically.

By contrast, simply building a wall and enforcing immigration law will help enormously, by cutting off the flood of newcomers that perpetuates ethnic separatism and by incentivizing the English language and American norms in the workplace. These policies will have the added benefit of aligning the economic interests of, and (we may hope) fostering solidarity among, the working, lower middle, and middle classes of all races and ethnicities. The same can be said for Trumpian trade policies and anti-globalization instincts. Who cares if productivity numbers tick down, or if our already somnambulant GDP sinks a bit further into its pillow? Nearly all the gains of the last 20 years have accrued to the junta anyway. It would, at this point, be better for the nation to divide up more equitably a slightly smaller pie than to add one extra slice—only to ensure that it and eight of the other nine go first to the government and its rentiers, and the rest to the same four industries and 200 families.

Will this work? Ask a pessimist, get a pessimistic answer. So don’t ask. Ask instead: is it worth trying? Is it better than the alternative? If you can’t say, forthrightly, “yes,” you are either part of the junta, a fool, or a conservative intellectual.

And if it doesn’t work, what then? We’ve established that most “conservative” anti-Trumpites are in the Orwellian sense objectively pro-Hillary. What about the rest of you? If you recognize the threat she poses, but somehow can’t stomach him, have you thought about the longer term? The possibilities would seem to be: Caesarism, secession/crack-up, collapse, or managerial Davoisie liberalism as far as the eye can see … which, since nothing human lasts forever, at some point will give way to one of the other three. Oh, and, I suppose, for those who like to pour a tall one and dream big, a second American Revolution that restores Constitutionalism, limited government, and a 28% top marginal rate.

But for those of you who are sober: can you sketch a more plausible long-term future than the prior four following a Trump defeat? I can’t either.

The election of 2016 is a test—in my view, the final test—of whether there is any virtù left in what used to be the core of the American nation. If they cannot rouse themselves simply to vote for the first candidate in a generation who pledges to advance their interests, and to vote against the one who openly boasts that she will do the opposite (a million more Syrians, anyone?), then they are doomed. They may not deserve the fate that will befall them, but they will suffer it regardless. [https://claremontreviewofbooks.com/digital/the-flight-93-election/]

Bishop Gracida was a courageous WWII airman, monk, friend of Pope John Paul II and the “Savior of EWTN” as Raymond Arroyo called him in his book who at 96 looks like his is in his 70’s, is mentally sharper than most men 40 years younger than him and looks by a large margin younger than Pope Benedict XVI or Francis.

Gracida is declaring that America is in a battle between good and evil.

Pray an Our Father now for the grace to know God’s Will and to do it.

Pray an Our Father now for President Donald Trump, the legal teams including Sidney Powell and justice in the United States of America.
Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church as well as the Triumph of the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

In the aftermath of the latest Covid-19 relief law, I have been thinking of a proper one-word description for our Congressmen and women. I have been through incompetent, uncaring, disorganized, self-centered, and a few more but not to belabor this thought, I have settled on pathetic. They are collectively the most pathetic organization I have ever observed in my way-past-middle-age life.

HOW TO FIX CONGRESSby Marvin L. Covault, Lt Gen US Army, retiredDecember 31, 2020
If I was king for a day, I would fire them all, hold a quick special election and find some real leaders who understand the meaning of selflessness, accountability, trust, respect, and know-how to build that brand of culture then live it every day.  But that can’t happen.
Politicians say they care, but they don’t. How can I tell? If our elected officials would get off the phone asking for campaign contributions long enough to watch on TV the miles-long lines of cars across the country filled with people waiting for their offering at the local food banks, perhaps they could find a modicum of compassion in their black hearts.
Background: Since 1973 Gallop has published the results of an annual poll which seeks to list, in order, the organizations in which we-the-people have confidence. The results this year: “A Great Deal/Quite a Lot of confidence” in Congress, 13% and 45% “Very Little/None”. How do these numbers stack up against other organizations? By contrast, the military was 72% “Great Deal/ Quite a Lot”, 9% “Very Little/ None”. FYI, over the decades, Congress has always been at or very near the bottom and the military at the top.
In a survey of the most/least respected professions, Congress is dead last. “Low/very low” 58%, “high/very high” 8%.
How did Congress do in a published survey on honesty and ethical standards? You guessed correctly, Congress is again dead last “High/very high” 8%, “low/very low” 63%.
Wouldn’t one think, with an analysis of these survey results year after year, that Congress would, out of sheer embarrassment, at least try to improve?
Nope, not happening.
Instead of looking in the mirror and saying, what can I do right now to help individuals and small businesses survive this pandemic, they concocted a 5,600-page monstrosity and called it Covid-19 relief:$10 million for “gender programs” in Pakistan$300 million for fisheries,$100 million for NASA,$300 million to Endowment for the Arts,$300 million to Endowment for the Humanities,$300 million to Public Broadcasting,$500 million for Museums and Libraries, $720 million to Social Security Administration,$315 million to the State Department,$90 million to the Peace Corp,$492 million to National Railroad Passenger Corp,$526 million grant to Amtrak. $4.7 billion in foreign aid to nine countries.
This is just a sampling of the pork earmarked in the must-pass Covid-19 relief law.
Are these examples Covid-19 related? Should we be borrowing money for these types of expenditures? If viewed separately by the American taxpayers would they pass the smell test? Absolutely not.
Why has Congress become so continuously inept? Simply stated, they do not have a set of established standards, and any operation without standards is a failed operation.
Establish and enforce a set of simple standards and a lot of things in Washington can get fixed, quickly.
However, keep in mind that change is a frightening concept to most organizations. Fixing Congress will take some courage and strong, sensible, insightful leadership. Given those leadership requirements, I have very low expectations for success this year. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I am suggesting institutionalizing a set of seven operational standards. But before we get to that, the members need to think about serving in Congress as a full-time job. From 2001 to 2018, the Senate spent an average of 165 days in session each year, and the House spent an average of 140 days in session; less than three days on average per week.
A small agency will be formed under the Inspector General (free from Congressional influence) inside the General Services Administration (an independent government organization) called The US Congressional Legislation Standards Authority (CLSA). Their sole purpose will be to enforce these seven standards and to administer the life-cycle of a piece of legislation as explained below.
Every bill will first appear on a Congressional web site (operated solely by the CLSA) that is totally dedicated to enforcing the standards for every bill. Every member of Congress will receive an alert each time a new bill is proposed and posted. This web site will be managed solely by the CLSA; The sponsors of the bill may contact the CLSA at any time to update schedules, to notify members of committee hearings, to make changes to the legislation, etc. But the CLSA are the only ones who can access the site to add, delete or change any piece of information.
The CLSA does not have the authority to recommend changes, additions, or deletions to the intent of the legislation. Their function is to determine if the proposed legislation meets the following standards, with particular emphasis on Standard Number Three, Applicability.
STANDARD NUMBER ONE, Outlaw “Earmarking”: An earmark is a provision inserted into a discretionary spending bill that directs funds to a specific recipient while circumventing the merit-based or competitive funds allocation process. Most earmarks are attached to a “must-pass” bill so that it is protected from non-passage or Presidential veto. My definition of an earmark is an idea that would not have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting passed if, standing alone, it was exposed to the light of day.
STANDARD NUMBER TWO, Sunset Legislation: This is a measure within a statute, regulation, or other law that provides that the law shall cease to have effect after a specific date, unless further legislative action is taken to extend the law. Most laws do not have sunset clauses and therefore remain in force indefinitely. Keep in mind that many laws cause some Executive Branch organization to be stood up. Our government is full of agencies, divisions, and branches that require annual funding while having outlived their requirement to exit.
STANDARD NUMBER THREE, Applicability: In the recent 5600-page Covid-19 relief bill there were scores of organizations funded from this bill that had absolutely zero association with the Covid-19 outbreak or relief thereof.
Hereafter all of the provisions of a particular bill must clearly identify with the subject, purpose, and intent of the bill. It will save many tens of billions of needless expenditures per year. It will prevent publishing bills that are too lengthy to read; e.g., not a single Representative or Senator actually read the 5593-page Covid-19 relief bill before they voted on it.
STANDARD NUMBER FOUR, Stand-Alone: Every bill will be a single-issue piece of legislation.
STANDARD NUMBER FIVE, Time Limits: There are two different situations to consider. One is the federal budget process and the other is all bills other than those in the budget process.
FIRST, THE NON-BUDGET PROCESS BILLS will get processed in one continuous 90-day timeframe. The CLSA will grade the scheduling of all activities to insure it is ready to be voted on within the 90-day timeframe. The exception to this is, at any time the bill’s sponsor or committee may pull it from consideration.
STANDARD NUMBER SIX, Leaders cannot hide a pending Bill: The Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader in the Senate continuously practice sitting on bills, not allowing them to be voted on for protracted periods of time. This will not be allowed. Every bill will be voted on or before the end of the 90-day window.
STANDARD NUMBER SEVEN, Standard Website Format: Every piece of legislation will be formatted with four specific sections and pages as follows:
SECTION ONE (page 1) of the CLSA Standard Format is all about accountability and transparency. At the top of this page is will say, PAGE 1, TITLE, OWNERSHIP and SCHEDULE. Current as of:    (date).     Page 1 will include:-Title of the legislation-Date which starts the 90-day calendar.-Not-later-than date for floor vote on the bill.-The member of Congress who is the principal sponsor plus all co-sponsors.-Author of the proposed bill (a member of Congress, a Congressional committee staff, Executive Branch Department, Non-governmental organization, lobbyist, private citizen, etc.).-Sunset legislation date.-Schedule of committee hearings. -When determined, the actual date to be debated and voted on the floor of the House of Representatives.-When determined, the actual date to be debated and voted on the Senate floor. Comments on drafting of legislation: Lobbyists. There are nearly 12,000 registered lobbyists in the US. They work for businesses, professional associations, cities, states, non-profit organizations, etc. They get paid to make things happen in government, and mostly that is in the form of special interest legislation. Lobbyists are a prime source of today’s legislation and earmarks. It is not a completely negative concept but the downside is that they can too frequently get politicians to earmark appropriations that are self-serving and not in the best interest of the general public.
Congressional committee staffers. Staffers write much of the legislation today and therein lies a big problem. Because most issues rarely fit nicely inside the domain of a single committee, there will ultimately be multiple committee staffers bringing their individual thoughts and prejudices to the effort. Too often you begin in good faith to build a thoroughbred racehorse and end up with a camel.
Under today’s system that “camel” ends up earmarked to some “must-pass” bill and eventually in some Executive Branch, Department, or Agency for execution; this is potentially a complete waste of time, energy, money and is one of the causes of the gross inefficiency of government.
The Executive Branch of government, to include the president, should author a larger portion of the bills. Why? Because they know the who, what, when, where, why, and how details of their projects. Why not let the experts, those who will be responsible for the execution, do the up-front piece? For example, if the Department of Homeland Security needs $400 million for a new section of the border wall, they should write it and seek out some member(s) of Congress to sponsor it.
SECTION TWO (page 2) of the CLSA Standard Format will say, PAGE 2, LEGISLATIVE INTENT. Current as of     (date)The narrative for page 2 will be limited to one single page, font 12 and must begin with the words, THE PURPOSE OF THIS LEGISLATION IS TO…….(finish the sentence)……
Intent is one of the least used and most important aspects of any law. Congress and the authors of a bill should not leave it to the applicable governmental departments to infuse their own intent for what the laws should or should not be about.
SECTION THREE (page 3) of the CLSA Standard Format will say, PAGE 3, MAJOR COMPONENT OUTLINE. Current as of    (date)For legislation with multiple parts, this section of the Standard Format will provide an outline of the major elements. It is similar to a Table of Contents but with a few sentences explaining each entry.
SECTION FOUR will include the bill’s entire narrative.
There will be some CLSA Standard Format differences on the timing for THE FEDERAL BUDGET PROCESS LEGISLATION, which consists of 12 separate appropriation bills, as follows:
THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH RESPONSIBILITIES: Each October federal agencies begin compiling their budgets for the following fiscal year and submit their proposals to the President via the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).  OMB edits, calculates, and coordinates the budget for final review and approval by the President.  The President then forwards the approved proposal to the House and Senate by the first Monday in February.
CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE ACTION: Upon receipt, various Committees begin reviewing their respective sections of the budget; the process is spearheaded by the Budget Committee.
BUDGET RESOLUTION: The Budget Resolution document is then considered on the House Floor and goes through a similar process in the Senate and to be completed not later than April 15th. The CLSA will closely monitor the resolution process looking for violations of the standards on earmarking and applicability.
Comment: Congressional ineptitude begins to impact the Budget Resolution process because they choose to disregard protocols and standards. For example, in six of the seven most recent fiscal years, Congress never adopted a formal budget resolution at all. This lack of discipline represents the beginning of the downfall of the entire annual budget process.
Between April 15th and May 15th, the differences must be reconciled between the House and Senate into the compromise resolution for all 12 separate appropriations bills. May 15 then begins the 90-day CLSA Standard window for passage of the 12 budget appropriations.
Comment: One of the most basic tasks of Congress is to pass a fiscal year budget and do it on time. However, Congressional ineptitude continues to place the day-to-day functioning of the federal government in jeopardy and thereby negatively affecting tens of millions of Americans.
Failure to pass the appropriation bills on time results in either passing continuing resolutions (CRs) or shutting down the government.
Congress has used CRs in 40 of the last 44 fiscal years. In FY 2013 a full-year CR covered 7 of the 12 appropriations. It has been 23 years since all of the appropriations bills were passed prior to the beginning of the fiscal year. In the past 43 years, there has been an average of 4.6 CRs per fiscal year. This is what one would call unacceptable institutionalized ineptitude.
The above serves to illustrate the level of dysfunction in today’s Congress, the extreme effects of a deep-seated culture of blame, abrogation of constitutional responsibilities, and its inability to clean its own dirty laundry. The Speaker of the House and Majority Leader of the Senate hold the keys to the success or failure of the federal budget process legislation. Failure to keep the budget process on a successful timeline leading to a completed budget prior to the beginning of the fiscal year is a failure of leadership. Leadership failure should have visible consequences, one of which would be for the House and/or Senate members to pass a resolution seeking the resignations of their respective leader.
Conclusions:$10 million for gender programs in Pakistan.
After the fact. That’s when we found out about this and dozens more ridiculous “Covid-19 relief” packages. Who knew about them before they became law? None of us. Why? Because Congress can waste our tax dollars almost at will while hiding behind a wall of anonymity. What happened to accountability? Without standards, there is no accountability.
Under the above program, The US Congressional Legislation Standards Authority (CLSA), we would have known on day-one who sponsored this insane earmark. We would have known when a committee was going to discuss it. We would have known weeks in advance when it was going to be voted on. We would have known all this because it would have been a stand-alone bill, not hidden inside a 5593-page unread bill. Accountability and transparency would have been front and center. The fact is, it would never have made it to the floor for a vote because visibility to the press, and we-the-people would have caused it to go away.
Furthermore, one of the great advantages of a standards-based legislative process is that in all likelihood, the bill would never have been written because anonymity is non-existent.
Journalists will use the CLSA website as a source for up-to-the-minute reporting on pending legislation. Citizens can read it, learn what the legislation is all about, understand the positives and negatives of the intent and weigh in with their elected legislators before, not after, it becomes the law of the land.
After about a year, this simple process will guide all activities in Congress and will be accepted as the new normal. This will save untold tens of billions a dollars per year. It will have the effect of spending our tax dollars first in support of we-the-people vs attempting to buy our way into changing overseas cultures.
Additionally, and, perhaps most importantly, this more disciplined approach to legislation could have the long-term impact of moving toward greater fiscal responsibility building towards a balanced budget.
Successful, admired organizations operate this way every day. It is as simple as one-two-three.

  • One, thoroughly define the TASK at hand.
  • Two, define the CONDITIONS, in this case stand-alone bills vs appropriations bills.
  • Three, set and enforce the operating STANDARDS without exceptions.

Task-conditions-standards; it is within the art of the possible. But as noted earlier it will take great leadership to put it in place and make it operational. That cannot happen with the current Congressional leadership. Representative Kevin McCarthy, might be the right person but that will have to wait until January 2023. If you agree with this program, I would encourage you to send him a copy and let him get his ideas in place before he becomes the Speaker of the House in 2023.

My New Year’s Resolution

ANTHONY ESOLEN

Grace builds upon nature, and perfects it. But what if the foundation of nature is missing?

I look out of the window to the broad stretch of open yard behind our house. It is covered with the snow we got last week. If you stand in it, and look at it in the light of the sun ahead of you to the west, the tiny crystals of ice that make up the crust will glint with all the colors of the spectrum. Move your head a little this way or that, and they change; what was red turns to violet, and what was pale orange turns to green.

It has been a dead kind of year, as my readers must know; but then, there was not much life to begin with. I do not miss the glad shouts of children playing, or the sight of boys trooping through my back yard to go hunting around in the woods, because they were not there in 2019, either. I can miss them only by remembering what my siblings and I, and the other children in our neighborhood, used to do all winter, even after dark—for we had the quite adventurous lives that children had before television.

My February, 1900 copy of The Century Magazine features a fine article by the urban reformer Jacob Riis, on “Midwinter in New York.” Midwinter was a season of danger, no doubt, especially from house fires; but it was also a season of freedom and delight. Where to find that delight? Not, says Riis, by escaping to the country, nor even by seeking out the frozen rivers to behold the “marvelous sunsets that flood the western sky with colors of green and gold which no painter’s brush ever matched.” To get the best of the human spirit, he says, “I should lead you, instead, down among the tenements, where, mayhap, you thought to find only misery and gloom.”

On the contrary! Here are two groups of boys from enemy city blocks, fighting for pride with snowballs for weapons: “Full many a lad fell on the battlements that were thrown up in haste, only to rise again and fight until a ‘soaker’, wrung out in the gutter and laid away to harden in the frost, caught him in the eye and sent him to the rear; a reeling, bawling invalid, but prouder of his hurt than any veteran of his scars.” A safety valve for youth, says Riis; “there are worse things in the world than to let the boys have a fling where no greater harm can befall than a bruised eye or a strained thumb.”

But merry fights were only a part of the fun. The children went sledding down the hilly streets, and they discovered “countless ‘slides’ in those that were flat, to the huge delight of the small boys and the discomfiture of their unsuspecting elders.” Says Riis, with all of fifty years on his back, “I cannot to this day resist a ‘slide’ in a tenement street, with an unending string of boys and girls going down it with their mighty whoops. I am bound to join in, spectacles, umbrella, and all, at the risk of literally going down in a heap with the lot.”

Over at a playground—Riis was an early and vigorous proponent of city playgrounds—the boys have piled up the snow to make a vast concatenation of walls, passages, and parapets “cunningly wrought, and sometimes with no little artistic effect.” Then there is the coasting: “Let any one who wishes to see the real democratic New York at play take a trip on such a night through the up-town streets that dip east and west into the great arteries of traffic, and watch the sights there when young America is in its glory.” Children on makeshift bobsleds and “belly-whoppers” made up of bits of board—down they go, “rich and poor, boys and girls, men and women, with yells of delight,” lasting “far into the young day,” for apparently they keep it up all night long, and the sun rises upon their mirth.

This is not a flight of imagination. Riis simply reports on what he did, and what he saw, all the time.

I present it as an exemplar. My readers can surely supply their own: the many things that ordinary human beings used to do, mainly together, often for fun, sometimes to meet the hard necessities of life, and often with a dash of risk—especially the risk of young love—for where have all the dances and the socials gone?

I am not praising a former way of life in contrast with a current way of life. I am saying that there used to be a way of life, and there is not much of one now, be it good or bad or something in between. All kinds of human things are missing: self-made music, singing, play, mutual help, public lectures, reading rooms, fraternal societies, the Welcome Wagon, you name it—people with other people.

Grace builds upon nature, and perfects it.

We live among intensely lonely people. Loneliness is not a constant in human existence; people in many societies know nothing of it. We live among people starved for beauty. That starvation is rare for man; perhaps there was not much in the way of well-wrought art among Eskimos, when the harsh climate made it nearly impossible. But there was poetry, and there was immemorial song; all peoples have had those most human of the arts—all except for us. We live among a people who hobble about on knees locked and frozen, who have never learned the suppleness of worship. We have few stories, and those few are under attack because they express unchanging truths about man. Homer must go to hell, not for being a pagan, but for being a man—a human being who tells the truth about us. Dante must go to hell, certainly for being a Christian, but more fundamentally for being a man—especially a truth-telling man.

You cannot change man—or woman, for that matter; but what cannot be changed may well be stifled. An acorn will not become a maple, but we can do our best to keep it from germinating and becoming an oak. The Sahara will not bring forth corn, but we can do our best to turn fertile fields into dust bowls—we are doing that best.

This reality, I insist, presents us Christians with a challenge, a clear task, and an opportunity.

The New Year is upon us, and I’m not one for making resolutions. But what if we Christians resolve to make a steady and forthright effort to recover at least one good, hearty, human thing this year? Recapture just one thing for our families, our neighborhoods, our schools, or our parishes? Ancient Greeks who had never heard the Gospel had Homer and Hesiod, Phidias and Praxiteles, Socrates and Plato. Barbarian Germans who had never heard the Gospel had their heroes of old, and the songs they passed down from generation to generation. The people roundabout us do not have the makings of the heathen, because they do not have enough of the human things to qualify. For all our political outcries about race and ethnicity, not much divides black from white in the United States. We are all gray and pale.

Our task is to become more human, so that others too will join us; as the foundation is being set and as nature returns, the grace of that same God who made our nature and made it good will come to perfect it, if we will but allow it. Where are the songs? We must sing them.https://www.facebook.com/v2.10/plugins/like.php?action=like&app_id=485814248461205&channel=https%3A%2F%2Fstaticxx.facebook.com%2Fx%2Fconnect%2Fxd_arbiter%2F%3Fversion%3D46%23cb%3Df12f247219c97c2%26domain%3Dwww.crisismagazine.com%26origin%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.crisismagazine.com%252Ff1e64b0f5e57868%26relation%3Dparent.parent&container_width=660&href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.crisismagazine.com%2F2021%2Fmy-new-years-resolution&layout=button_count&locale=en_US&sdk=joey&share=true&show_faces=falseAnthony Esolen

MIRABILE VISU, PRESIDENT TRUMP DESIGNATES DECEMBER 29 A NATIONAL DA OF COMMEMORATION FOR Saint Thomas BECKET

Trump Declares Dec. 29 a National Day of Commemoration for St. Thomas Becket

By David Martin

President Trump is calling upon Americans to pay tribute to a Catholic saint and martyr. On Monday, the president declared December 29 a national day of commemoration for St. Thomas Becket who was martyred in 1170 because he refused to allow the king of England to interfere with the internal affairs of the Catholic Church. The following is taken from Trump’s proclamation.

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim December 29, 2020, as the 850th anniversary of the martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket. I invite the people of the United States to observe the day in schools and churches and customary places of meeting with appropriate ceremonies in commemoration of the life and legacy of Thomas Becket.”

The following is also from the president’s proclamation.

“When the crown [king of England] attempted to encroach upon the affairs of the House of God through the Constitutions of Clarendon, Thomas refused to sign the offending document. When the furious King Henry II threatened to hold him in contempt of royal authority and questioned why this ‘poor and humble’ priest would dare defy him, Archbishop Becket responded, ‘God is the supreme ruler, above Kings’ and ‘we ought to obey God rather than men.'”

King Henry eventually had St. Becket killed because he defended religious liberty against the order of the state. After being given an ultimatum to obey the King, Becket confessed, “For the name of Jesus and the protection of the Church, I am ready to embrace death.” Dressed in holy robes, Thomas was cut down where he stood inside the walls of his own cathedral.

State Must Not Restrict Churches

President Trump is sending a clear message to Christian Americans, especially Roman Catholics, that they must never allow the state to interfere with the internal affairs of the House of God. “If we are to continue to be the land of the free, no government official, no governor, no bureaucrat, no judge, and no legislator must be allowed to decree what is [un]orthodox in matters of religion or to require religious believers to violate their consciences,” Trump says.

The president says, “As Americans, we were first united by our belief that ‘rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God,’” suggesting that we too must exhibit ‘holy rebellion’ against state tyrants like governors Cuomo and Newsom. He is saying that faithful Catholics must resist state orders to  close churches, wear masks, impose distancing, or to respect causes like LGBT and abortion because “God is the supreme ruler above kings” and forcing obedience to state rulers causes “believers to violate their consciences.”

The state indeed has no jurisdiction in the House of God, so the president has raised up St. Thomas Becket as an example for all Americans to look to during this historic time of anti-religious persecution when the Democratic deep-state has sought to infringe upon the Church. Trump honors the fact that Becket confessed Christ before the state and is suggesting that we do likewise, even unto martyrdom if need be.

“It is because of great men like Thomas Becket that the first American President George Washington could proclaim more than 600 years later that, in the United States, ‘All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship.’”

St. Paul tells us, “All that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.” (2 Tim. 3:12) While Trump is not a Catholic [as yet], he nonetheless is walking the path of “white martyrdom” since there isn’t a day that goes by without his being unjustly blasted by fake-media Democrats and even his own “Republican” subjects. Even some of his “conservative” judges have betrayed him through fear or bribery, but he nonetheless is resolved to remain loyal to the Biblical precepts of the Constitution despite the opinion of mere man.

It could even happen that without enough prayer from the people, Trump too might be cut to pieces inside his own palace (White House) as was St. Thomas Becket. For months we’ve seen  violent hostility encroaching upon the White House with Antifa terrorists shouting, “Let him die” and “he deserves death.” We even hear state leaders saying these things about Trump.

A True Leader

Suffice to say, Trump shows himself to be a true leader by placing God first, which is in keeping with the wise words of George Washington: “Mankind, when left to themselves, are unfit for their own government.” As a responsible leader, Trump acknowledges that “our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people” (John Adams) and is acting accordingly.

With the daily barrage of anti-American attacks ever intensifying, we pray that President Trump will remain ever resolved to stand against the internationalist deep-state coalition that now seeks to take our country from us.

The only time votes have ever stopped being counted in this country on election night was when the Broward County problem developed over Hanging Chad’s in one county in FL. So for FIVE states to stop counting on election night is absolutely UNPRECEDENTED

Sidney Powell on Rush Limbaugh Show: Like in the “UNPRECEDENTED” Bush Florida Hanging Chads “FIVE States Stop[ped] Counting..because… [it] was about to Hit [+ go over] 270 for President Donald Trump”

Former Assistant United States Attorney Sidney Powell on the Rush Limbaugh show was interviewed by Todd Herman.

Powell, who is considered one of the top attorneys in the United States is a past president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, said “The only time votes have ever stopped being counted in this country on election night was when the Broward County problem developed over Hanging Chad’s in one county in FL. So for FIVE states to stop counting on election night is absolutely UNPRECEDENTED. And they did it because the vote count for the electoral college was about to hit [+ go over] 270 for President Donald Trump“:

“The very night of the election many people saw something that they had never seen before in the history of our elections. They saw votes being changed on the screen in front of them, going from President Donald Trump to Joe Biden.

On top of that, the morning after the election, even that night, the voting stopped. They stopped counting in multiple districts at the same time before the vote got to 270 electors for President Trump. That’s never happened before.

The only time votes have ever stopped being counted in this country on election night was when the Broward County problem developed over Hanging Chad’s in one county in FL. So for FIVE states to stop counting on election night is absolutely UNPRECEDENTED. And they did it because the vote count for the electoral college was about to hit [+ go over] 270 for President Donald Trump, because of the massive outpouring of votes for him that night.

By the next morning, multiple mathematicians had contacted me and told me they knew the algorithm that had been run to change the votes. It was that obvious to people with mathematical expertise. It is a mathematical impossibility for 100’s of thousands of votes to show up for VP Biden alone and to have been injected into the system the way that they were.

We have eye-witness testimony of countless people who saw votes coming in, in unsecured containers and improper means and looking different the night of the election. These people have come forward at great personal risk to themselves & their families to provide thousands of affidavits of voting abnormalities and actual crimes that they witnessed happen on election night. The very fact that the other side is working so hard to hide all of this. Federal law requires transparency in our electoral process and our elections.”

There is a federal statute that requires all the documents pertaining to the election to be maintained for 22 months following an election, for the very reason that it has to be completely auditable. A Federal Judge in October [in ATL] found all kinds of problems w/ the Dominion system that GA bought and crammed down for everybody across the state to use. That’s where the most problems have been, is in GA. Witnesses have come forward, there was supposedly a water leak that they shut down voting for. That was an abject lie. We have video of witnesses pulling suspect ballots out from under a table after they ran off all the observers. Somebody told me that one of the people that did that has told gov’t officials how it happened and what happened.

But has that information been provided to the public?

No.

There is rampant voter fraud of all kinds. Federal violations of 5 years + more across the country by virtue of all the misconduct on election night. The flipping of votes by Dominion is even advertised, on their ability to do that, to run a fraction, to make a Biden vote count 1.26% and a Trump vote to only count 0.74%. They’ve done it before. They’ve done it in Venezuela. They done it in other foreign countries. They’ve done it in THIS country. We have evidence even that it was done in 2016 in CA to benefit Hillary or Bernie Sanders, and it’s been done in other local elections and smaller elections in different places.

This is the only time it’s been this widespread, and the reason it didn’t work this time, they’ve been able to shave these votes for a long time, but the reason it didn’t work completely this time and they had to shut down in so many places was because so many Trump supporters poured out on the day of the election to vote for President Donald Trump in what was a LANDSLIDE victory, a historic victory, is because it BROKE the algorithm.

That’s why they had to stop counting that night. That’s why they had to bring in ballots and try to back-fill. And it still doesn’t work, because there are still 100’s of thousands of more votes than there were voters to vote them. The math simply doesn’t add up. And if they had nothing to hide, why aren’t they providing transparency into the voting systems of the United States of America, the country that is founded upon the Rule of Law and is supposed to be above all this?

It is absolutely the most appalling criminal operation in the history of our country.” [https://populist.press/sidney-powell-goes-off-in-latest-interview-absolutely-unprecedented/?utm_source=browser&utm_medium=push_notification&utm_campaign=vwo_notification_1609360072&vwo_powered=1]Note: The Catholic Monitor implores all CM readers to now or as soon as possible to “Contact Governor Brian Kemp and DEMAND that he IMMEDIATELY call a special session of the legislature”:

Prayer of Command of  Exorcist Fr. At one level it sure seems that nothing is happening. The clock is ticking with important electoral dates breezing by, getting ever closer to the final date of Jan. 20? On the other hand, President Trump may be playing a different game, one not obvious to most observers, certainly not the media or even his supporters.

Is Nothing Happening? Or is Trump Channeling Sun Tzu?

American Thinker

December 29, 2020

I’m impatient, as I expect most American Thinker readers are as well. We have been promised a coming storm that will be biblical, or a Kraken released on Deep State conspirators. Despite Attorney General Barr acknowledging Spygate as “one of the greatest travesties in American history,” there has not yet been a reckoning.
A mid-level FBI attorney, Kevin Clinesmith, pled guilty to falsifying a document which became one of the lynchpins of a FISA warrant on Carter Page and subsequent spying on Donald Trump and his campaign, but he has yet to be sentenced. His co-conspirators are writing books, teaching at prestigious universities, and bashing President Trump on cable news shows.
A presidential election was stolen, and Trump’s own executive agencies say ho-hum, rollover, and go back to sleep. The same FBI that sent 15 agents to investigate a garage door handle that Bubba Wallace claimed was a noose, can’t seem to find any reason to investigate a host of election irregularities.
Republican members of Congress, who happily rode Trump’s coattails to their elections, are telling him to “accept the results” and “move on,” oblivious to the fact that if they get their wish, their party will become as irrelevant as the Green Party. Media stalwarts that were once “fair and balanced,” have tilted to the left, becoming “unfair and unhinged,” rivaling the standard left-wing cable news gabfests.
Perhaps more is going on than I can see, but what is visible to 75 million Trump supporters, those who have endured ridicule and scorn for supporting their president, is that nothing is happening. This is Trump’s administration and he’s the boss. He hires and fires, just as he did in the real estate development world and on “The Apprentice.
The buck stops with him. If nothing is happening, then that’s on him. Is he flailing away in a vain attempt to win a second term? After all that he has been through and overcome, not only to get elected in 2016, but also to stay in office for four years, accomplishing more in one term than most presidents do in two, is he about to lose it all to a senile grifter no more qualified to be president of the United States than a manager at a bowling alley?
At one level it sure seems that way. The clock is ticking with important electoral dates breezing by, getting ever closer to the final date of Jan. 20? On the other hand, President Trump may be playing a different game, one not obvious to most observers, certainly not the media or even his supporters.
Sun Tzu was a Chinese military general and strategist, author of a treatise on military strategy known as The Art of War. Trump is a fan, as this book made his short list of “best leadership books.” Trump quoted Sun Tzu in this 2012 tweet, long before Twitter was fact-checking his every utterance and attaching warnings and disclaimers to each tweet.
Can Sun Tzu’s ancient wisdom and strategy explain the current apparent “nothing is happening” perception for those who, like myself, are becoming increasingly impatient over “all hat and no cattle” promises coming from Team Trump? Is Trump following the Sun Tzu battle plan? Look at some of his quotes.
Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.
If Trump has a master plan, it’s safe to assume that few outside his small inner circle know anything about it. An example would be Secretary of Defense Chris Miller speaking to Vice President Mike Pence, thanking him for “his steady hand and leadership” during “some of the [most] complex military operations this country’s ever conducted.”
Why haven’t we heard of such operations? Or were they “dark and impenetrable as night”? And executed, like “a thunderbolt”? This is not faint praise. Pence is not a military guy, but Miller certainly is, a former special forces operator and commander. Miller was close to tears acknowledging Pence’s assistance and leadership. Something is happening.
All warfare is based on deception.
Trump is a master of chaos, with strategic media leaks and disinformation. Is VP Pence a white hat or a black hat? The SecDef says Pence is a white hat. Attorney Lin Wood says Pence is a black hat. What about the rest of Trump’s inner circle – Mark Meadows and Pat Cipollone – friends or foes? Patrick Byrne calls them serpents. Trump hired them and keeps them on. Deception and confusion. Classic Sun Tzu.
In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.
Trump tweets in one direction and signs executive orders in another direction. He complains about the GOP Senate while hundreds of conservative judges are confirmed by the same senate. He creates chaos then uses the opportunity to advance his agenda. Trump distracts the media with tweets and comments and while they are in meltdown mode, he is running circles around them.
Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
Has Trump gone to war against the Democrats and the left? Did he send in the military to reclaim American cities under siege by Antifa and BLM? Has he declared martial law, as the Twitterverse assured us he would? Or has Trump gamed this out, knowing electoral fraud was coming when he signed the 2018 executive order regarding election interference?
Has Trump already won, now waiting for the optimal time to go to war? The defeated left has been at war with Trump for six years, unsuccessful in their efforts to win? And finally,
The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.
As of yet, there has been no storm, no Kraken. Trump has followed the Constitution, making legal arguments up to and including the U.S. Supreme Court. What Vice President Pence does when it is time to again follow the Constitution and certify the Electoral College votes is to be determined.
Will a massive declassification of criminal and seditious activities subdue the Democrats? Will Trump win without a bloody battle? Time will tell.
At this point, it’s a binary choice. Either Trump is in over his head and will be dragged out of office. Or he is executing his plan, on his terms and timing, as he has done since his famous escalator ride at Trump Tower in 2015.
Trump knows the stakes for himself, his family, and America if Kamala Harris and Joe Biden get the keys to the kingdom and promptly hand them over to China. Want to bet against Trump? How has that worked out in the past?
Ponder these words from Trump’s inspiration, Sun Tzu,
He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
Mystify, mislead, and surprise the enemy.
He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
Is Trump unprepared? Au contraire. Listen to Oprah interviewing him in 1988, more than thirty years ago. He looks younger but sounds the same as he does now, speaking of China, immigration, and electoral politics. Trump has been preparing for this moment most of his adult life.
Buckle up for an interesting few weeks ahead.

IT WAS A MIRACLE: PENNSLVANIA REPORTED OVER 200,000 “MORE VOTES THAT THERE WERE VOTERS IN THE STATE”

CATHOLIC MONITOR

SEARCH

Trump (& Pennsylvania House) Reported over 200,000 “More Votes than there Were Voters… This Alone Flips the State to President Trump”

President Donald Trump (and the Pennsylvania House) reported over 200,000 “more votes than there were voters. This alone flips the state to President Trump”:Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

“Breaking News: In Pennsylvania there were 205,000 more votes than there were voters. This alone flips the state to President Trump.” [https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1343663159085834248]

Political activist Melissa Tate replying to @realDonaldTrump to said “Who is ready for the 1st decertification”:Melissa Tate@TheRightMelissaReplying to@realDonaldTrump Report released by PA legislators showing an error votes reported vs people who actually voted. Who is ready for the 1st decertification [https://twitter.com/TheRightMelissa/status/1343757524613410816/photo/1] Yesterday, Gateway Pundit reported “After nearly two months, the state of Pennsylvania is found to have certified votes that are in error”:

The Pennsylvania House has just uncovered that the certified results in Pennsylvania for President are in error by more than 200,000 votes. This is more than twice the difference between President Trump and Joe Biden.

What a mess.  Republican State Representative Russ Diamond uncovered and reported today that the results for President are way off in Pennsylvania.  More ballots were cast than people voted by more than 200,000 votes.

The group of Republican Representatives released this message:

HARRISBURG – A group of state lawmakers performing extensive analysis of election data today revealed troubling discrepancies between the numbers of total votes counted and total number of voters who voted in the 2020 General Election, and as a result are questioning how the results of the presidential election could possibly have been certified by Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar and Governor Tom Wolf. These findings are in addition to prior concerns regarding actions by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Secretary, and others impacting the conduct of the election.

A comparison of official county election results to the total number of voters who voted on November 3, 2020 as recorded by the Department of State shows that 6,962,607 total ballots were reported as being cast, while DoS/SURE system records indicate that only 6,760,230 total voters actually voted. Among the 6,962,607 total ballots cast, 6,931,060 total votes were counted in the presidential race, including all three candidates on the ballot and write-in candidates.

The difference of 202,377 more votes cast than voters voting, together with the 31,547 over- and under-votes in the presidential race, adds up to an alarming discrepancy of 170,830 votes, which is more than twice the reported statewide difference between the two major candidates for President of the United States. On November 24, 2020, Boockvar certified election results, and Wolf issued a certificate of ascertainment of presidential electors, stating that Vice President Joe Biden received 80,555 more votes than President Donald Trump.

Posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off on President Trump may be playing a different game, one not obvious to most observers, certainly not the media or even his supporters.
