Vatican says use of Covid vaccines made from aborted fetal tissue is ethical
by ReutersMonday, 21 December 2020 12:40 GMT
VATICAN CITY, Dec 21 (Reuters) – The Vatican told Roman Catholics on Monday that it was morally acceptable for them to use COVID-19 vaccines, even if their production employed cell lines drawn from tissues of aborted fetuses.
A note from the Vatican’s doctrinal congregation, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, said the use of such vaccines was permitted as long as there were no alternatives. (Reporting By Philip Pullella; Editing by Alex Richardson)
By now, the majority of Americans have likely tuned out of the voter fraud saga. It is so extensive, so complex, but mostly, so futile. The steal is indeed proving to be too big to fail, and no one wants to touch it. Embittered and exhausted, disenfranchised Americans are done hoping and are mentally preparing for the worst.
Meanwhile, many Republican officeholders are positively eager to let the whole matter drop. Senator John Cornyn of Texas dismissed his own state’s claims of disenfranchisement. “Why would a state, even such a great state as Texas, have a say so on how other states administer their elections?” Never minding the fact that, in a national election, one state’s false election cancels out another state’s legitimate election.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
Mr. Cornyn’s colleague Mitch McConnell likewise concluded, “the Electoral College has spoken.” Having recently won reelection, Mr. McConnell no longer bothers to take his own constituents’ objections seriously.
With all that said, there is some positive news that will bring some much-needed peace of mind to demoralized Americans. President Trump’s trade advisor Peter Navarro recently published a report summarizing the many instances of voter fraud in all six swing states.
Mr. Navarro released his report, not as a Trump Administration official, but as a private citizen. Nevertheless, in many ways, it is the culmination of so many investigations, reports, affidavits, statistical analyses, and other documentation alleging voter fraud. Mr. Navarro therefore declares that “ballots in question because of the identified election irregularities are more than sufficient to swing the outcome in favor of President Trump should even a relatively small portion of these ballots be ruled illegal.”ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
Some many might ask what difference this makes now if so many methods of legal recourse have proven fruitless. Most of those who are convinced of fraud need no further proof; those who are not convinced will never have enough. On both fronts, however, the Navarro Report does make a significant difference, if not a decisive one.
On a practical level, there actually is one more recourse to reversing the election due to fraud, which involves federal lawmakers raising official objections and debating whether to accept the electoral results of the states in question, also known as “dueling electors.” This process has happened twice in American history (once in 1960 and again in 1877), both much smaller in scale than what would happen in this election. The Navarro Report would help make the case of a rigged election and push lawmakers to reject the results.
On a moral level, the Navarro Report does the important work of simplifying what has proven hopelessly complex. Whatever might be claimed, most people trying to grapple with the extensive fraud happening in so many states suffer more from too much evidence than too little. Even experts struggle to keep up with all of it.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
Fortunately, Mr. Navarro’s charts condense all of this and clearly shows what happened in each state. More than the newest video of a ballot-counter smuggling in a box of fake ballots or the newest series of graphs exposing yet another statistical anomaly, this report explains clearly that cheating happened, and it was serious enough to overturn the election.
True, the report may not sway many Americans. But perhaps a few more voters may finally at least question their certainty that this election was fair, and a few others might realize just how grave the extent of the fraud really was.
Admittedly, this is a tough pill to swallow. But what has been the alternative? Civic trust has been broken. Accountability for elected leaders is vanishing. America is devolving into an oligarchic system that rewards those who conform to elite opinion and punishes those who would follow the demands of their own conscience.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
Christ said, “The truth will set you free.” This can also be understood as, “Lies will enslave you.” There can be no freedom in a world where narratives overtake reality. We inevitably become dependent on those who create the narrative and outsource all of our thinking to them.
Already, this is the case for nearly half of the country, who have made their peace with the lie and passively accept the falsehoods on their screens and the corruption of their leaders. It thus falls on those who desire freedom and truth to take on this problem. This is no pleasant task, but it is the first step to reform, and the only way true freedom becomes possible.

Recently, I helped some friends decorate a parish church in our diocese for Christmas. The priest gave us a picture of their old nativity scene and instructed us to replicate it. If any figure was out of place from the year before, he warned, the parishioners would notice—and they would blame him.
Our creativity was stifled by the congregation’s micromanaging. We could have produced an innovative scene—something which had never been done before! Yet we followed the instructions and, ultimately, there was something comforting about the constancy of the nativity.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
The modern world changes rapidly before us, distracting us with new technologies, new concepts, new crises. The Nativity reminds us that this newness is an illusion, and that progress is unimportant in comparison to tradition. We look forward at an uncertain and rapidly changing future and learn only to be frightened and uneasy. We look on the Nativity and find comfort in its fixity. Perfection has no use for progress.
In 2019, the Vatican’s nativity scene resembled the scene we arranged. It was accompanied by a depiction of an Italian household from the region and time period where the statues were produced, almost as if the artists were trying to link modernity to antiquity. The scene embodied warmth, hope and humanity: indispensable qualities during cold winters and hard times.
These past few months have been isolating. When we do see them, our neighbors, colleagues and friends are faceless and indistinguishable behind their face masks. People are afraid or unable to interact with one another. Churches are closed in jurisdictions where bars and nightclubs remain open.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
It seems odd, then, that the Vatican’s 2020 nativity scene features faceless and indistinguishable statues at a time when people would most benefit from an authentic depiction of the Holy Family. Reportedly, the ceramic statues are intended, in part, as a celebration of contemporary art.
We must ask, then: Why should the Catholic Church celebrate contemporary art?
According to the philosopher Stephen Hicks, modern artists see their craft, not as quest for beauty, as the premoderns did, but as a quest for truth. And the truth (these artists claim) is that “the world is not beautiful. The world is fractured, decaying, horrifying, depressing, empty, and ultimately unintelligible.” Therefore, “artists should not use the traditional realist forms of perspective and color because those forms presuppose an orderly, knowable, and integrated reality.”ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW
It’s true that the world fractured. But it’s also whole. It decays and it regenerates. It’s horrifying and soothing, depressing and uplifting, empty and full, unintelligible and lucid. The way we see the world depends on what we accept as truth. Progress tells us the modern story, but tradition tells us the real story—the true story.
Modern art is relativist. Beauty, truth, good and evil are all regarded as subjective. This is how Marcel Duchamp and Andres Serrano can claim that “Toilette” and “Piss Christ” are art, and how Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can call a statue of Father Damien “white supremacist.”
I’m not comparing the Vatican’s nativity scene the garish kitsch produced by the likes of Duchamp and Serrano. After all, it’s nothing if not earnest; it wasn’t contrived to mock, dismiss or destroy our appreciation for aesthetic beauty. But as G.K Chesterton writes in Orthodoxy, “Art, like morality, consists of drawing the line somewhere.” Perhaps next year, someone should give the Vatican a picture of the Nativity to work from, if only to avoid upsetting the congregation.ADVERTISEMENT – CONTINUE READING BELOW

A symbolic sign after the Pachamama worship at St. Peter’s: Papal Altar unused for months now
‘It seems that they continue to dismantle everything.’Fri Dec 18, 2020 – 2:40 pm EST
PROFESSOR ARMIN SCHWIBACH / TWITTER
December 18, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Something happened in the Vatican in the last months that has been largely overlooked: the High Altar of St. Peter’s – the Papal Altar, which is situated right on top of the tomb of St. Peter himself – has been left unused now for many months. Professor Armin Schwibach, a Vatican Correspondent who has lived in Rome for more than three decades, describes it as a “symbolic emptiness.” This fact comes in light of the coronavirus lockdowns, but also after Pope Francis, in October 2019, welcomed a bowl with earth dedicated to the false goddess Pachamama and placed it, against the liturgical rules, on that very altar.
Professor Armin Schwibach, a professor of philosophy in Rome and Rome Correspondent of the Austrian Catholic website Kath.net, posted on Twitter on December 17 a photo of the High Altar at St. Peter’s Basilica – the Papal Altar at which, generally, and this for centuries, only the Pope offers the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass – and he himself then commented: “The emptied and today unused papal altar. Now a kind of perceptible hole in the middle of the basilica.”https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-0&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1339637300041560065&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lifesitenews.com%2Fblogs%2Fa-symbolic-sign-after-the-pachamama-worship-at-st-peters-papal-altar-unused-for-months-now&siteScreenName=LifeSite&theme=light&widgetsVersion=ed20a2b%3A1601588405575&width=550px
LifeSiteNews reached out to Professor Schwibach, asking him to explain the meaning of his commentary and photo. He told LifeSite that since the corona lockdown in the Vatican, the Pope has never offered the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass on this altar anymore. Instead, Pope Francis has offered Holy Mass, for example on Easter of this year, on the altar of the Chair of St. Peter, which is situated behind the high altar of the basilica, and only with a small congregation present. Here is a video of that Mass. The first minutes show how the High Altar is empty, and the altar behind it is being used. Also on December 12, the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Pope Francis celebrated Mass on that other altar behind the High Altar, passing by the Papal Altar without visibly bowing to it. For all these months now, the Papal Altar has been abandoned, creating a “symbolic emptiness,” in Schwibach’s words.
As the German journalist explained, the Pope has also abandoned his televised Masses at his Santa Marta residence, and this since May 18. Schwibach, who usually reported on these regular (three to four times a week occurring) Santa Marta homilies, added that no explanation was given as to why the Pope abandoned his public Masses altogether, but for the few occasions, such as Christmas, or, recently, the November 28 consistory where he had made new cardinals. These Masses, as noted above, take place at the altar of the Chair of Peter, behind the Papal Altar.
Still last year, for the Christmas Vigil Mass on December 24, 2019, Pope Franis celebrated Mass on the Papal Altar, with the basilica filled with faithful. This year, he will celebrate the Christmas “Midnight” Mass at 7.30 pm, with a small congregation, and this time on the altar of the Chair of St. Peter.SUBSCRIBEto LifeSite’s daily headlinesSUBSCRIBEU.S. Canada World Catholic
The Papal Altar, or the Altar of the Confessio, is the centerpiece of St. Peter’s Basilica, with the Baldachin made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. This altar was consecrated by Pope Clement in 1594 and is situated on top of the tomb of St. Peter himself, which is found below the cathedral. The Altar of the Confessio is also placed there, commemorating St. Peter’s having witnessed to his faith with his martyrdom.
On March 10, St. Peter’s Basilica had been closed due to the corona restrictions, and it was only Cardinal Comastri who at that time and until May prayed a televised rosary at St. Peter’s that touched many hearts around the world, due to his heartfelt pleas to Our Lady for help. Recently, at the end of November, Comastri resumed this pious and beautiful practice. At this point, the basilica is open for visitors.
The significance of the absence of the Pope at the Papal Altar lies not only in the fact that it is the papal altar per se and links the current Pope directly with St. Peter himself. It also lies in the fact that Pope Francis had, on October 27, 2019 – at the closing Mass of the Amazon Synod – placed on that very same altar a highly controversial bowl of plants that had been offered up to the false goddess Pachamama at the beginning of the Amazon Synod. Many saw in this bowl an occult sign, an offering to a demon, that was scandalously placed on God’s altar on which the Pope offers the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
At the time, Dr. Robert Moynihan, a U.S. journalist and Vatican expert, noticedthis strange event – especially since the Pope also broke the liturgical rules by placing that bowl on the altar itself, where only items are to be placed that are needed for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Moynihan described how he “learned that a bowl of soil with plants in it is often connected with ceremonial rituals involving Pachamana” and that this bowl then usually also has some sort of red color, which actually also was to be found in the bowl on the High Altar at St. Peter’s.
Dr. Moynihan speculated and said that “it seemed that the bowl of flowers presented at the offertory of the final Synod Mass, and then placed on the altar during the consecration, may have been connected with a ritual of veneration, and thanks, to Mother Earth, known as Pachamana…”
But we need not further speculate. In this short video prepared by Gloria.tv, one can see that this very same bowl had been first offered up to Pachamama by a “priestess” in the Vatican Gardens during a pagan ceremony on October 4, at the beginning of the Amazon Synod. The bowl subsequently was carried over by her to Pope Francis who presided over the ceremony, and he then blessed it.
The Amazon Synod was surrounded by many controversial and scandalous events and statements, such as the honoring of Pachamama statues, but also the promotion of religious indifferentism and outright apostasy.
Not long after this scandalous event, Pope Francis decided not to be called anymore in the 2020 Vatican Yearbook “Vicar of Christ,” giving this title the character of merely being a “historic title.” Instead, he placed his personal name on top of his entry, Jorge Mario Bergoglio. In the 2019 Yearbook, his entry was still entitled “Vicar of Jesus Christ.” Professor Schwibach at the time commentedon twitter: “It seems that they continue to dismantle everything.”
Here a summary of the events since last year’s Amazon Synod: First the Pope had blessed a sacrifice that had been offered to a false god, and then he placed it on the very altar on which he usually offers the Son of God to God the Father. In the 2020 Yearbook, he declines to be called “Vicar of Christ.” The coronacrisis breaks out, which is then being used by government authorities to close down churches and restrict Mass attendance, along with the Pope’s collaboration and approval. Then the Pope stops altogether celebrating Mass on that very same Papal Altar on which he had earlier placed the Pachamama bowl. His Christmas Vigil Mass is not even a midnight Mass, but will take place at 7.30 p.m., due to the existing curfew rules in Italy (even though the Vatican is its own city-state and the Pope is its head). The result of these papal acts are that now in many places in the whole world the Christmas Midnight Mass, commemorating the birth of the Christ-Child, has been cancelled. One may ask whether there is a connection between all of these events: that is to say, from the Pachamama bowl on the Papal Altar to the cancellation of the Christmas Midnight Masses in many parts of the worl

Eternal VigilanceBy: Judd GarrettObjectivity is the ObjectiveDecember 16, 2020 As a coach, when your players continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, there is an old adage that says, “you’re either coaching it, or you’re letting it happen.” Either scenario places the blame for the players’ continual mistakes squarely on the coach. Looking at our politics and our society in general, and seeing how far we have moved away from the original vision of our founding, how corrupt our politicians on both sides of the aisle have become, how equally corrupt our media is, and how much power and influence we have handed to social media giants to further corrupt our politicians and media, I ask the question, are we promoting all this or simply allowing it to happen? After all that we have found out about the political censorship by Facebook, Twitter, and Google during this election cycle, and all the money they spent to corrupt our political process, why is anyone who loves America and believes in what our founding documents stand for, still using any of those platforms? Every one of the 70+ million people who voted for Donald Trump should delete their Twitter and Facebook accounts right now, and start using neutral search engines like DuckDuckGo instead of Google, for their blatant censorship of conservatives and naked promotion of Democrats. These social media giants unfairly influenced the outcome of the election with their biased algorithms skewing our searches to favor Democrats and blatant censorship of Republicans. The Hunter Biden story was censored by Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram while these platforms shut down the accounts of Republicans and right-leaning newspapers. This is the stuff that happens in third-world banana republics or totalitarian Marxist regimes. We, as people, are either promoting this Marxist/leftist take-over of our country, or we are simply allowing it to happen. If we continue to use these platforms and put money and power into the hands of the billionaires in Silicon Valley who are in bed with the Chinese Communist Party, and are using their money and power to promote politicians who are in bed with the CCP, then we deserve what we get. We will lose the American dream. We will lose the rights and protections of our Constitution. The more we climb into bed with the Chinese Communist Party, the more their politics will seep in and infiltrate our country, our politics, our psyche. Regardless of how big their economy is, do we want to live like the average Chinese citizen, slaves of the state with rigged elections and one-party rule? I deleted my Facebook and Twitter accounts about 3 years ago, and it was one of the most liberating decisions I ever made. Once I was off those platforms for about a week, I realized how much emotional control they had over me, and I also realized how unnecessary and superficial those platforms really are. We don’t need to be liked by five thousand people; we need to be loved by about five. Maybe, these platforms will be embedded into our collective future forever, and maybe I’m a relic of days gone by, but if I’m a relic, then so is our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, the American Dream. Because those platforms are working to destroy these founding principles, and our national vision. Does anyone believe that the socialist agenda that will be foisted upon us will be fair and evenly distributed? Or will it be like the free speech offered by Twitter and Facebook, only given to the like-minded? We can stick our heads in the sand and tell ourselves that China is our ally, as they steal our intellectual property, insert spies into high levels of our government and academia, buy off our political and economic elites, use unfair trade practices, manipulate their currency, enslave their people and pollute the world, just so we can buy cheap sneakers and computers which further enriches Silicon Valley billionaires and Wall Street financiers while hollowing out our middle class and destroying our manufacturing. This threat we are facing is both insidious and pervasive. But the “price of liberty is eternal vigilance.” We can never get complacent. We can never get fat and happy. The wolf is always at the door. We must be vigilant against the lure of cheap consumer goods, and the emotional high of a liked post or tweet. Those are mere scraps compared to the founding principles which will be under attack by those who will soon be wielding power. Millions of Patriots have laid down their lives, fighting to protect our freedoms and our country, we can sacrifice likes on social media and cheap consumer products to save our country, our sovereignty. This is our Normandy Beach. This is the hill on which we should be willing to die. Ronald Reagan was absolutely right. Our freedom is on the verge of extinction. We may not be promoting it, but are we going to sit back and allow it to happen? In the end, freedom is the most important thing. But all of our freedoms are under attack by this new political and media class; freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom to assemble, the right to bear arms. Millions of Patriots have laid down their lives, fighting to protect our freedoms and our country, we can sacrifice likes on social media and cheap consumer products to save our country, our sovereignty. This is our Normandy Beach. This is the hill on which we should be willing to die. Judd Garrett is a former NFL player, coach, and executive. Whenever our country faced crises in the past, like Covid-19 today, we turned to prayer as a nation. Now, however, due to the rising influence of liberal secularists, this seems lacking. Why? Biblically, we are warned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 that in the latter times there will be a religious/moral “falling away.” And in Timothy 4:1-2, the Holy Spirit “speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some should depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared….”
Relevant to America today, Matthew 13:15 explains: “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their hearts, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” We definitely need healing as a nation, both morally and physically, from Covid-19. We should pray every day for the Lord’s help, healing and mercy. And President Trump can issue a Proclamation rededicating our nation to the “National Hymn,” which is the tune for “God of Our Fathers.” Why this song? Because in this time of Covid-19, the third verse says: “…from deadly pestilence, be Thy strong arm our ever sure defense….” (A pestilence is defined as any virulent or fatal contagion or infectious disease, especially one of epidemic proportions.)
No doubt, liberal secularists will object, but they can be reminded that President Washington in his farewell address warned: “Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.” And they can also be reminded of our national motto adopted on July 20, 1956: “One nation, under God.”
How ironic that Covid-19 came from China, and in 500 BC, the Chinese strategist Sun-Tsu declared: “The highest art of war is not to fight on a battlefield, but to subvert the enemy by destroying all the moral values in your enemy’s country.” Unfortunately, many Americans no longer abide by traditional Biblical values like abstaining from fornication. Let us remember what Benjamin Franklin said when the delegates at our Constitutional Convention were at an impasse on June 28, 1787. Franklin said referring to God: “…And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? Or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance?…God Governs in the affairs of men….I therefore beg leave—that henceforth imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings…be held…every morning….” And for individuals around the nation suffering because of Covid-19 as I have, losing my mother, we should remember that Gospel singer Wintley Phipps said God wanted him to share with us the following: “It is in the quiet crucible of your personal, private sufferings that your noblest dreams are born, and God’s greatest gifts are given in compensation for what you have been through.”

For a long time, I have been involved with taking care of my mother, who passed away on August 4. She came to a local hospital and tested negative for Covid-19. They then proceeded to not give her any food for 3 days weakening her considerably, When her oxygen level dropped, they transferred her to intensive care where they gave her the MRSA virus. She was then placed in isolation. I begged them repeatedly to retest for Covid and they refused. Finally, they retested her after 12 days and found she had Covid all along. They only let me see her once in the Covid critical care unit and her nurse was from China. I asked how she got here, and she said in 2001 the Chinese Ministry of Health assigned her to go to Kuwait (when it was a world hotspot). As everyone knows, China is a controlled society where the government controls everyone’s life and tells them what to do, Shortly after Kuwait, the nurse came to Raleigh, NC where my mother and I lived. I asked her where she worked in China, and she said Wuhan (where Covid-19 originated)! Amazing coincidence?!
I had been researching the origin of Covid-19 for some time, and had forwarded the information I found to a number of people including THE WASHINGTON POST’s intelligence specialist covering the story. He emailed me delay after delay, so I thought I may as well write about what I had found. Those familiar with my writings know that those I call the Power Elite plan things far in advance, so in my 1991 book NOW IS THE DAWNING OF THE NEW AGE NEW WORLD ORDER, I wrote that Dr. Richard L. Day (1965-1968 national medical director of Planned Parenthood) in March 1969 delivered a speech where Dr. Lawrence Dunegan was in attendance. According to Dr. Dunegan, Dr. Day announced that in terms of controlling population: “Everything is in place, and nobody can stop us now….This time we’re going to do it right.” Dr. Day then listed a long series of things, such as the legalization of abortion, which have all come true, including “hard-to-cure diseases would be created.”
This brings us to Covid-19, and when you read the following documents from 2015, remember that in that same year, Bill Gates delivered a Ted Talks saying the following: “Today the greatest risk of a global catastrophe doesn’t look like this (picture of war). Instead it looks like this (picture of a virus). If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, it’s most likely to be a highly infectious virus rather than a war. Not missiles, but microbes….You can have a virus where people feel well enough while they’re infectious that they get on a plane or they go to a market. The source of the virus could be a natural epidemic, or it could be bioterrorism….It would spread throughout the world very, very quickly….”
On March 2 of this year, I emailed top news people at ABC News the following: “Re Covid-19, some years ago (October 2013), NIH director Francis Collins said certain studies ‘entail biosafety and biosecurity risks.’ He was talking about studies such as Ralph Baric’s Bioscience Lab (BSL-Level 3) at UNC’s efforts to engineer a virus with a surface protein of the SHC014 coronavirus found in horseshoe bats in China. The hybrid virus could infect human airway cells. Baric and Zheng-li Li Shi of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (China) among others co-authored ‘A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence’ in NATURE MEDICINE (November 9, 2015). The article’s Abstract states that ‘Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014…, and the spike can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in human airway cells….’ Synthetic construction of mutant and full-length SHC014-CoV was approved by the University of North Carolina Institutional Biosafety Committee, and research in this manuscript was supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, among others.
THE LONDON DAILY MAIL (March 2) reports that a paper by the Beijing-sponsored South China Institute of Technology indicates that the Wuhan Center for Disease Control, WHCDC (where they keep 605 disease-ridden bats) could have spawned Covid-19. ‘The WHCDC is adjacent to the Union Hospital where the first group of doctors were infected during this epidemic,’ the report says. The report also suggests that the Wuhan Institute of Virology (where Zheng is located) could have also leaked the virus. ‘This laboratory reported that the Chinese horseshoe bats were natural reservoirs for the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV). The principal investigator participated in a project which generated a chimeric virus using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, and reported the potential for human emergence. A direct speculation was that SARS-CoV or its derivative might leak from the laboratory.’ Another speculation is that COVID-19 was developed at the Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory, China’s only Level 4 microbiology lab equipped to handle deadly coronaviruses. Remember, I began my message to you quoting about biosafety and biosecurity threats. And the economic impact of those threats (e.g., stock market, travel, tourism, etc. declines) has only just begun.” I realized early that Covid-19 was an attack not only upon the health of people, but also on the economies of the world!
On March 15, 2016, UNC’s Ralph Baric and 3 others with his BSL-3 team among others co-authored “SARS-like WIV1-CoV poised for human emergence” (PNAS, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences). In the Acknowledgments, it states, “We thank Dr. Zhengli-Li Shi of the Wuhan Institute of Virology for access to the bat CoV sequences and plasmid of WIV1-CoV spike protein.” A virus is a protein with spikes. On October 30, 2013 Dr. Zheng had already co-authored “Isolation and characterization of a bat SARS-like coronavirus that uses the ACE2 receptor,” and in the Abstract, one reads: “Here we report whole-genome sequences of two novel bat coronaviruses from Chinese horseshoe bats….These viruses are far more closely related to SARS-CoV than any previously identified bat coronaviruses, particularly in the receptor binding domain of the spike protein….Our results provide the strongest evidence to date that Chinese horseshoe bats are natural reservoirs of SARS-CoV, and that intermediary hosts may not be necessary for direct human infection….” It would seem from this that Covid-19 might simply be something that accidentally was transmitted to humans (one of the scientists at Wuhan’s Level 4 lab was bitten by a diseased bat and possibly then walked out into the fish market with blood on his lab coat).
However, On January 26, 2020, Bill Gertz in THE WASHINGTON TIMES wrote that “The deadly animal-borne coronavirus spreading globally may have originated in a laboratory in the city of Wuhan linked to China’s covert biological weapons program, said an Israeli biological warfare analyst….Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biological warfare, said the institute (Wuhan Institute of Virology) is linked to Beijing’s covert bio-weapons program.” In addition, on May 16, 2020, “EXCLUSIVE: Virus researchers uncover new evidence implying COVID-19 was created in a lab,” was published regarding a study done by Nikolai Petrovsky and a team at Flinders University in South Australia.” According to the study’s authors, there is strong evidence that “the virus that causes COVID-19 did not come from an animal intermediary, but became specialized for human cell penetration by living previously in human cells, quite possibly in a laboratory.” In other words, it was engineered to go from human to human, and possibly in the Wuhan Institute of Virology where Dr. Zheng was located.
The first case of Covid-19 was traced back to November 17, 2019 in China. About 6 weeks before that in the October 2, 2019 edition of the JOURNAL OF VIROLOGY, Ralph Baric, Timothy Sheahan and Amy Sims of the UNC Bioscience Lab Level 3 and others co-authored an article indicating “small molecule antiviral BDN^4-hydroxycytidine inhibits a proofreading-intact coronavirus with a high genetic barrier to resistance.” And on January 10, 2020, Baric, Sheahan, and Sims and others also co-authored an article about the “comparative therapeutic efficacy of remdesivir,” developed at UNC BSL-3! Coincidence? Someone I know overheard a conversation relevant to Covid-19 in which they said a man said, “I did it.” When pressed, the person indicated they could say no more because they feared for their life! As if we didn’t have enough trouble with Covid-19, on July 4, 2020, the FOX8 Digital Desk posted “Duke University researchers help discover new strain of coronavirus that spreads faster because of gene mutation.” May God please help us!
