POLICE MISCONDUCT IS WRONG WHEN THE VICTIM IS WHITE BUT IT IS IGNORED WHEN THE VICTIM IS A CATHOLIC PRIEST

Wrongful Convictions: The Other Police Misconduct

A new article by Ryan MacDonald spotlights the work of police detective James F. McLaughlin who orchestrated the wrongful conviction of Father Gordon MacRae.

I read somewhere that the State of New Hampshire — the “Live Free or Die” State — has this nation’s second highest percentage of prisoners over the age of 55, second only to West Virginia. To be certain, the offenses that put most of them in prison did not occur at age 55, however. New Hampshire is also one of only three states with a “Truth in Sentencing” law. In effect it means there is no avenue to reduce a prison sentence based on rehabilitation.

I admit that I do have a vested interest in this subject. I will be 68 years old on April 9th. I was 29 when my fictitious crimes were claimed to have taken place. I was 41 when I was sent to prison for them. I could have been set free at age 43 had I actually been guilty or willing to pretend so.

I have already learned the hard way that growing older in prison is its own special cross. I severely sprained my right knee early this month. I’m not exactly sure how or why it happened. I awoke one morning with a painful knee. At almost age 68 in my 27th year in prison, that is not at all unusual. But me being me, I just ignored it. Later that morning I had to go to the commissary to pick up food and hygiene supplies that I ordered a week earlier.

The pickup process can be a little daunting. After 23 years in a place with very little “outside,” I love living on the top floor in a place where I can step out onto a walkway and see beyond prison walls into the forests and hills beyond. But this also involves stairs. Lots of them. Among the items I had ordered that day were a supply of bottled water because I had become a little dehydrated. My net bag was substantially heavier than usual.

Leaving the commissary, the walk across the long walled prison yard was no problem. The series of ramps to the upper levels left me huffing and puffing just a bit. But the final leg involve carrying the heavy bag up eight flights of stairs — 48 in all. Just a few steps from the top that day, my knee exploded. Now I use a cane — temporary, I hope — and a knee brace and lots of ice.

Police Brutality Is Overblown, but Not This

defund-the-police.jpg

I have read that one of the common traits of the wrongfully convicted in prison is that they simply cannot let go of the injustice that befell them. For me, this injustice is as vividly felt today as it was on September 23, 1994.

But there comes a point at which it is no longer even about freedom. When freedom suddenly comes to a man who has spent more than a quarter century in prison, then freedom itself becomes an intimidating affair. We have seen this faced head-on in some recent posts about my friend, Pornchai Moontri. His imprisonment came to an abrupt end after 29 years on February 24, 2021.

Pornchai went to prison at age 18 after years forced into homelessness. Freedom brings lots of firsts for him. He has never driven a car, for instance, and has no frame of reference for how that would feel except to feel scary. I told him that driving became second nature to me as it will one day for him as well.

If I ever regain my freedom, I will likely find it to be less new and intimidating than Pornchai did at first, but I try not to set myself up for disappointment by thinking about it too much. However, being deprived of justice still remains a gnawing insult to both my psyche and my soul. I cannot help but ponder this and it has never relented. After 27 years it still leaves me fending off bitterness and resentment. Justice and freedom were stolen from me by a dishonest police officer.

I find it strange, but just and merciful, that even after more than 26 years unjustly in prison, people are still writing about it. In a thoughtful pair of posts written in France, Catholic writer Marie Meaney arrived at some boldly incisive conclusions after doing substantial research. Both are available in English at her blog, Cheminons avec Marie qui défait les nœuds (“Let Us Walk with Mary Who Unties the Knots”). Marie’s first article published in June 2019 was “Untying the Knots of Sin in Prison.” It was mostly about my friend, Pornchai Moontri, and how the knots of abuse were untied for him through a team effort.

Marie Meaney’s second article, published in November 2020, was a model of thoughtful, honest research. Its understated title was simply, “A Priest Unjustly Imprisoned.” It strikes me as highly ironic that most American Catholic writers — with the bold exception of Catholic League President Bill Donohue — go to great lengths to avoid any mention of this story lest they be targeted by the cancel culture crowd for whom questioning a claim of victimhood is a mortal sin. Meanwhile in France, a nation known for its anticlerical Catholic culture, my story is told with guns of truth blazing. Here is an excerpt from her excellent post:

“This same man had been accusing so many people of sexually abusing him ‘that he appeared to be going for some sort of sexual abuse victim world record’ according to (Thomas) Grover’s former counselor, Ms. Debbie Collet, who said that Grover never mentioned Fr. MacRae during their sessions — though pressure had been put on her by the Keene (NH) police to alter her testimony. This small, 2,000 inhabitant town had been assigned a detective, James F. McLaughlin, to uncover sex abuse cases.”

— “A Priest Unjustly Imprisoned,” by Marie Meaney

Please do not misunderstand me here. I am very much pro-law enforcement. I do not at all subscribe to the left’s notion that police brutality has been rampant in America. Hyped-up exceptions must not overcome the rule of law. You may be surprised to learn that most prisoners believe this as well. In the heat of the political left’s promotion of anti-police policies in 2020, I wrote of the danger this represents in “Don’t Defund Police. Defund Unions that Cover Up Corruption.”

Detective James F. McLaughlin

Marie Meaney was correct in her assertion that between 1988 and 1993, the time in which much older claims against me were probed, the City of Keene, New Hampshire, with a population of about 22,000 then, had a full-time sex crimes detective named James F. McLaughlin. He is now mercifully retired. A 2003 Boston Sunday Globe article by Carlene Hempel (“Hot Pursuit,” Nov. 23, 2003) described him as a detective who “focuses specifically on men interested in boys.” The news media, especially The Boston Globe, has since then gone to great lengths to separate the homosexual abuse narrative from having anything to do with Homosexuality.

Carlene Hempel reported that McLaughlin separated himself from his initial involvement with ICAC, the “Internet Crimes Against Children” Task Force. Instead, he decided to go it alone, but Hempel avoided writing about why. She infers something, however, in an interview with a former ICAC police trainer who spoke of McLaughlin more generically:

“Cops who … operate outside the ICAC system put some people at risk. … You can’t be posing as a 15-year-old and throw something out like, ‘I’m really questioning my sexual orientation and I wonder if someone out there can help me with that.’ That’s really leading, and in my opinion, entrapment.”

— Police ICAC trainer

It was some time after my 1994 trial that McLaughlin took up the cause of Internet crimes. He made 1,000 arrests luring men to Keene, NH from other states in a process that many described as entrapment. In The Boston Globe article, McLaughlin said in his own defense that no judge has ever said that he has gone too far. That did not remain entirely true. In 2005, a federal judge reprimanded McLaughlin for sending child pornography to an online subject of his entrapment effort. At the time, McLaughlin’s supervisor said one of the scariest things I have ever heard from law enforcement. He told a reporter for The Concord Monitor, in an article that has since disappeared from the Internet, that, “It’s our job to ferret the criminal element out of society.”

Detective McLaughlin’s focus on Internet crimes involving men and teenage boys came well after the case he built against me. It is interesting that in her article from France, Marie Meaney mentioned my accuser at trial, Thomas Grover, who in the end was awarded close to $200,000 from the Diocese of Manchester for his easily identifiable lies. The problem with an accuser’s lies in the hands of a crusading sex crimes detective, however, is that they are easily covered up by finding witnesses willing to corroborate the accuser’s story. There were none here to be found, however. Consider this excerpt from a sworn statement of accuser Thomas Grover’s therapist, Debbie Collett:

“Thomas Grover never revealed to me that Gordon MacRae perpetrated against him. Mr. Grover spent a great deal of time being confronted (in therapy) for his dishonesty, misrepresentations, and unwillingness to be honest about his problems. Thomas Grover did reveal that he had been sexually abused, but named no specific person except his foster father. When asked if he meant Mr. Grover, he responded ‘yes, among others …’ He accused so many people of sexual abuse that we thought he was going for some sort of sexual abuse victim world record. But he never accused Fr. MacRae.”

— Sworn statement of Debbie Collett

Of her experience with Detective James McLaughlin and his pre-trial investigation, Ms. Collett wrote:

“I was contacted by Keene Police detectives McLaughlin and Clarke … I was uncomfortable with (the) repeated starting and stopping of the tape recorder when my answers to their questions were not the answers they wanted to hear … I confronted them about this and their treatment of me which included coersion, intimidation, veiled and more forward threats of arrest … McLaughlin said that he would personally come to my home, drag me out of it bodily if necesary, and force me to testify despite my information to him … They presented as argumentative, manipulative, and threatening me via use of police power to get me to say what they wanted to hear.”

— Sworn statement of Debbie Collett

Perhaps the more important part of Debbie Collett’s statement is her assertion that it was recorded. Under court rules, the prosecution was required to turn over to the defense all material including any recorded interviews. Despite repeated references to tapes in police reports, however, none were ever provided. The recording of McLaughlin’s interviews with Debbie Collett simply disappeared.

In the article linked at the end of this post, Ryan MacDonald raises the issue of recorded interviews.

“Unlike his protocols in nearly all other cases, Detective McLaughlin recorded none of his interviews with claimants in the MacRae case. A reason for the absence of recorded interviews may become clear from a statement of Steven Wollschlager, a young man who accused MacRae during one of McLaughlin’s interviews, and then recanted, refusing to repeat his accusations to a grand jury. From his sworn statement:

’In 1994 before [MacRae] was to go on trial, I was contacted again by McLaughlin. I was aware at the time of the [MacRae] trial, knowing full well that it was all bogus and having heard all the talk of the lawsuits and money involved, and also the reputations of those making the accusations. … During this meeting I just listened to the scenarios being presented to me. The lawsuits and money were of great discussion and I was left feeling that if I would just go along with the story I could reap the rewards as well.

’McLaughlin asked me three times if [MacRae] ever came on to me sexually or offered me money for sexual favors. [He] had me believing that all I had to do was make up a story about [MacRae] and I could reap a large sum of money as others already had. McLaughlin … referenced that life could be easier with a large sum of money … I was at the time using drugs and could have been influenced to say anything they wanted for money. A short time later after being subpoenaed to court, I had a different feeling about the situation.’ ”

— “Police Investigative Misconduct Railroaded an Innocent Priest,” by Ryan MacDonald

Neither Steven Wollschlager nor Debbie Collett have even been allowed to present their testimony in any appeal before the appeals were dismissed without hearings in State or Federal Courts.

In the photograph atop this post, Detective McLaughlin was honored by unknown entities for his 350th arrest while posing as a male teenager luring adults online to their arrest in Keene, New Hampshire. Less than one percent of these cases ever went to trial. The other 99 percent were resolved through lenient plea deal offers that defense attorneys urged their clients to take — even the ones whom they knew were not guilty.

I was never a part of McLaughlin’s Internet predator obsession, but his tactics and dishonesty leading up to that endeavor were very much a part of his case against me. Recently, journalist Ryan MacDonald was invited to submit an article on police and prosecutor misconduct for SaveServices.org. His February 20, 2021 article has since been republished at multiple other justice sites, including the National Center for Reason and Justice which continues to advocate for justice for me.

Ryan’s article is an eye-opener. Don’t miss “Police Investigative Misconduct Railroaded an Innocent Catholic Priest.”

How can it be in a nation that has become supercharged about diagnosing racism anywhere and everywhere that it is okay to be blatantly and unapologetically racist against whites?

The War on White PeopleBy: Kathleen Brush Ph.D.March 24, 2021 Racism is the answer to everything today. But only when it can be twisted to apply to white people.
It was predictable that the mainstream media and other social justice advocates jumped to the conclusion that the mass murderer in Boulder was another white supremacist. Anyone familiar with Boulder, CO knows if there is a mass shooter in Boulder, most of the dead will be white. In this case, they were all white.
Was Ahmed Al Aliwi Alissa a racist? The preliminary data can make that case, but no one is calling him a racist and not a Muslim terrorist either. Most news reports are mum on describing him as a brown person. That’s become common. It’s called culprit shaming or racist.Same goes for noting he is Muslim. In fact, the news overall is relatively light. How can the mainstream media and politicians get ratings from the story of a non-Christian brown man that hated Trump, and murdered ten white people, including a dead hero white Christian cop?
The murder of eight people in Atlanta, six Asian, immediately became an act of white supremacy. It had to be because Robert Long is white and widely reported to be a devout Christian. When it was reported that the motive was related to sex addiction, Long was cast as another white guy using white privilege to get charges dropped.
Most of the recent physical assaults, some deadly, on Asian Americans have, however, been carried out by African Americans, but they don’t make headlines or even the back page. Because they aren’t racist?
President Obama weighed in on the recent mass murders this year by saying disaffection, racism, and misogyny are to blame. He may have got one right. Disaffection means dissatisfaction with people in authority. Scanning 128 mass murders this century, only two seemed to fall into the category of racist and none, misogynist.President Biden now holds the record for the number of mass shootings this early into his presidency.
Meyers Leonard is a white basketball player for the NBA. He was front-page news for two days because of an anti-Semitic slur. The coverage of the slur included a picture of him uniquely among his teammates standing for the National Anthem. A picture is worth a thousand words. Meyers is a white patriot that is anti-Semitic. Undoubtedly a Trump voter. Is Leonard anti-Semitic? He said he didn’t know what k*ke meant. I suppose a lot of Americans might not know that Yankee is a racial slur for white people and so is Abe Lincoln. Of course, Leonard could be lying.
Here’s the rub; blacks are 2.1 times more likely to be anti-Semitic than whites, (For Latinos it is 1.9 times more likely.) but anti-Semitism by black NFL or NBA players is only reported on the back page and any published punishments are relatively minor, compared to Leonard’s monetary fine, and suspension followed by a trade.
Anyone that questions the crisis at the southern border is a racist against brown people and Texas Governor Greg Abbot who is married to a Mexican American woman is the head racist. He has pointed to a humanitarian crisis and the spread of covid. The news denounced his ulterior motives as racist. Good for Abbot. He has been undeterred. He sees the racist label for what it’s become. A hackneyed accusation used against white people.
How can it be in a nation that has become supercharged about diagnosing racism anywhere and everywhere that it is okay to be blatantly and unapologetically racist against whites? The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects white people too. At least, it’s supposed to.  Kathleen Brush, Ph.D, is a former senior executive. HERE ARE SOME OF THE QUESTIONS THAT SHOULD BE ASKED OF Joe Biden AT HIS FIRST PRESIDENTIAL PRESS CONFERENCE ON THURSDAY, MARCH 25, BUT PROBABLY WILL NOT BE ASKED

PRESIDENT BIDEN’S UPCOMING PRESS CONFERENCEMARCH 25, 2021SOME QUESTIONS I’D LIKE TO ASKBy E. P. UnumMarch 24, 2021            Having spent most of my adult life in the publishing and communications industry, and having taught various courses in journalism at prestigious universities around the nation, here are some questions I would like to hear the media ask our new president next Thursday, March 25, 2021, his first press conference where he is to field questions from the media: 1.        Mr. President, regarding what many feel is a crisis at our southern border, particularly with the significant increase in unaccompanied children attempting to cross into the United States, are you still comfortable that opening our borders at this time was a good idea? Why did you take such unilateral action including abandoning the completion of the Southern Wall started by your predecessor? Clearly, the Wall was working, and we had far fewer illegal immigrants than there are now?  2.        Regarding the vast numbers of migrants trying to come to America, was it a wise decision to encourage them to come when we are still dealing with the Chinese virus and have approximately 10 million people unemployed in the United States? Also, was it wise to allow so many migrant workers entry to the U.S. untested for Covid and approximately one in ten migrants testing positive for Covid?Isn’t that a great risk for America? 3.        You just signed one of the largest stimulus bills in American history, some $1.9 Trillion Dollars. 90% of this spending appears to be unrelated to Covid Relief, and it did not receive a single vote from the Republicans. First, are you comfortable with such a large commitment of funding not being bi-partisan and, secondly, is this a wise and prudent decision at this time given the fact that our nation’s economy seems to be growing nicely at this time and should improve as we re-open businesses as is happening around the nation? 4.        Regarding the American Rescue Plan, Mr. President, you and several members of your administration have stated that this stimulus will reduce poverty by a third this year and ultimately will cut child poverty in half. Sir, can you explain how this will occur? 5.        Mr. President, do you regret that none of your legislative actions have been bi-partisan to date? 6.        Sir, many of the migrant children are being housed in cages built during the Obama Administration when you served as Vice President. Yet, they are not called cages by the White House now. But they were when Donald Trump was President. How do you account for that? 7.       Mr. President, why did you feel it necessary to repeal the Trump Mexican Accord, and make available taxpayer-funded abortions whether done here in the United States or in foreign countries? How does this square with your Roman Catholic faith? 8.       Sir, what prompted you to unilaterally issue an executive order to permit transgender boys to compete against girls in athletic events? Will you explain the necessity for taking this action, and how do you feel about it? 9.   Mr. President, it took our nation several decades to achieve energy independence in terms of oil and gas. During the Trump Administration, the United States became an oil-exporting country for the first time in its history. The pipeline is secure and safe and it is also an efficient way to deliver oil from Alberta Canada to the gulf states for refining and delivery to states where it is needed. Pipeline delivery would cost $10 per barrel while transporting oil via rail or truck will cost over $36 per barrel and is very risky in terms of safety and efficiency. Why did you cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline unilaterally in your first half day in office on January 20th? Will you explain your decision, please? 10.   As a follow-up question to the Keystone XL Pipeline, former Secretary of State John Kerry has stated that “cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline was the right decision and those workers who lost their job can find positions making solar panels” isn’t that a bit cavalier Mr. President? Most of the solar jobs pay significantly less than jobs on the Pipeline and, more importantly, most of the solar panel production is done in China. Do you care to comment on Mr. Kerry’s remarks? 11.   Mr. President, turning our attention to the Middle East, what are your plans for the continuation of the Peace Accords which your predecessor negotiated there? Do you intend to meet in Israel with Prime Minister Netanyahu anytime soon? 12.   Mr. President, why are you seeking a new deal with Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world? You have unilaterally removed the terrorist designation President trump slapped on the Houthis, an Iranian proxy group who continually attacks Saudi Arabian oil fields with missiles fired from Yemen. Do you regret this concession to Iran? 13.   Mr. President, what is the current status of the FBI investigation of your son, Hunter Biden, who is a subject in an ongoing criminal tax case, and perhaps more? We empathize with you sir, but this seems to be an extraordinary situation growing out of what appears to be some questionable foreign business arrangement Hunter allegedly set up with the Chinese Communists and Burisma Energy in Ukraine, all while you were Vice President of the United States. While you may not care to comment on an ongoing investigation, are you willing to confirm that you do know and have met Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of your son Hunter? Do you in fact have a ten percent minority interest in a Chinese Communist-owned business as has been reported in the media? 14.    Mr. President, how are you feeling? Certainly, the stress of the job you hold can bring a person to his or her knees and is filled with stress. We know you have had two subarachnoid seizures. The bleeding in the brain alone can cause severe damage to motor reflexes, speech, and balance. Are you taking medication for this and have you yet had your annual physical at Bethesda Naval Hospital? 15.   Sir, what if anything do you intend to do about the “cancel culture” syndrome that impacts our daily lives. A few years ago you said “You can’t go to a Seven-Eleven or a Dunkin Donuts for coffee unless you have an Indian accent”. During your Presidential campaign last year you addressed an African American by saying to him “if you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black”. And, again, during your campaign, you once said that you “would like to take Trump out behind the gym and give him a Biden wallopin” Were these just false bravado, or did you actually mean those things? Sir, you have challenged people openly to push-up contests….is this something you regret or do you feel strongly about the kind of image these things paint for you? 16. During January, our National Guard Soldiers guarding the Capitol were forced to sleep on concrete floors in garages. Now, with the crisis at our border, you have authorized approximately $86 million to be spent on hotel rooms for the thousands of illegal immigrants entering our nation at your invitation. Will you explain the rationale behind this Mr. Pesident? I am about halfway through my list of questions and so I will stop at this point because I doubt that any of these will be asked by the media on Thursday. But they should be. Our country needs answers to them and we certainly will not be getting them anytime soon from Jen Psaki who will undoubtedly need to circle back to us as some undetermined date in the future when she might have some answers for us.

LETTER #8 FROM DR. ROBERT MOYNIHAN IS ESPECIALLY INFORMATIVE AND TIMELY

Print allIn new windowLetter #8, 2021, Wednesday, March 24, 2021: CensorshipInboxDr. Robert Moynihan via icontactmail4.com 5:29 PM (1 hour ago)to me    Letter #8, 2021, Wednesday, March 24, 2021: Censorship        “Charity is to will the good for the other.” —St. Thomas Aquinas (link)    ============    Blessings and Censorship    As I wrote yesterday, I have been trying to study two complex controversies to try to understand better where the leaders of our Church — the Pope, the bishops, the clergy, influential lay people — intend to lead us, or try to lead us, on these complex, contested moral, and ultimately spiritual, issues.    Powerful forces in our global secular society — we might call them (just for the sake of sketching an outline) “secular globalist elites” — seem focused on having the Catholic Church alter her traditional teaching on these points. (Something which is not possible for those who wish to remain faithful and orthodox in their belief and discipleship.)    The first is the question of homosexuality. The second is the question of transgenderism.    These powerful forces I refer to seem to be well-organized groups and lobbies on the national and international level, in national and international governing structures, like the United Nations and World Bank, and these groups seem quite well-financed throughout the world. (Note: All support for these Letters is welcome…]    These influential groups seem able to use both the traditional media(television, magazines, newspapers), and the new electronic media(tweets, podcasts, email), to publish their position on these matters — and to inhibit or even block the publication or spread of any alternative position (that is, especially, to downplay the traditional Catholic position).     So the messages and arguments of these forces reach almost everywhere, to young people as well as adults, to people in both urban and rural areas, to people of all religions and none, to people on every continent… (This is why the question of censorship, of canceling access to the means of communication, becomes so important. The global communications system can allow global communication, but it can also cancel certain voices, and render them globally almost silent.)        What is the goal of this effort? Seemingly, at least in part, to persuade the global Catholic Church — a seemingly suitable religious partner for a global secular elite — to change Her doctrine and practice on these (and other) matters and, in the place of the old teachings, doctrines and beliefs — doctrine and beliefs dating back to the Church Fathers of both East and West in the early centuries, and beyond, to the Apostles and to Christ Himself, and further back, to the Hebrew prophets before Christ — to embrace the “progressive” teachings of the secularized society of our time.     The two questions I have recently focused on are:     (1) Blessings: whether Christian blessings may be extended from blessings of traditional marriages (between one man and one woman) to blessings of homosexual relationships; and    (2) Censorship: whether censorship may be rightly permitted or even required in regard to child pornography (a censorship the Russian government has recently insisted upon, link), and whether censorship on another issue, transgenderism, may rightly be contested as harmful and unacceptable in a free society (as critics of Amazon have argued since Amazon in February completely erased from its website a book critical of the transgenderism movement, so that it has become much more difficult to find or purchase the book; see this link to a February 28 article in the New York Post — the full text is also printed below).    As I wrote yesterday, my aim is to study these matters in order, amid the incessant clamor, to better understand what is the “true good” of all men and women, the men and women of our time and of all time… because wishing others to have the true good, and working so that they may have that good, or access to it, is — as St. Thomas Aquinas rightly taught — the essence of true Christian love, and thus evidently the essential calling of all disciples of Christ in this world.    ============    Sandro’s Piece    Regarding point #1, Italian Vaticanist Sandro Magister today posted a thorough, important piece which continues and completes what I wrote in my Letter #7 (the letter I sent out yesterday); here is a link to Sandro’s piece (link). I think it is well worth reading.    In a central passage of his article, Sandro writes that there is definitely a battle occurring over the question of blessing homosexual marriages, even though the March 15 Vatican document does clearly forbid such blessings.    In other words, the Vatican made a clear, decisive statement.    But already many Catholic bishops, priests and laypeople are protesting against the statement and saying they will not abide by it, will not accept it, will not be bound by it. In this sense, the matter of blessings remains an open question — not because the Vatican was unclear, but because, as so often, the recipients of the official teaching are unwilling to hear and accept it.    In this context, the role of the Pope — as the final arbiter of disputes in the Church — becomes crucial.     But, as I indicated yesterday, the role of Pope Francis in this matter is again ambiguous. And, as I wrote, I agreed with the estimable and tireless Chilean journalist, Luis Badilla, who wrote that this situation is shameful, embarrassing, unacceptable, because, “in matters of doctrine, the hierarchy should be very, very clear.”    In this context, Sandro Magister in his piece today notes that the document published on March 15 does state that Pope Francis was “informed” and “gave his assent” to the content of the document, which says that Church cannot bless same-sex relationships.     So this this extent, Pope Francis seemed to give his authority, his support, to this document forbidding same-sex relationships.    But Sandro also notes that in this case the Pope was informed about the content of the document by the Secretary of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, Archbishop Giacomo Morandinot by the Cardinal Prefect, the Spanish Jesuit Luis Ladaria (who is generally regarded as a “conservative,” and is clearly a very learned, well-trained, serious theologian; but here the point is not the outlook of the two men, but the fact that one was inferior and the other superior; Sandro argues that this was already a way to slightly distance the Pope from giving his full, unconditional support to this document).     Sandro writes as follows: “On previous occasions the Pope had preliminarily given an audience not to the Secretary but to the Cardinal Prefect of the dicastery, and not simply to be ‘kept informed’ and ‘give his consent to the publication,’ as in this case, but for something more exacting: to ‘approve,’ meaning to make the decision his own, and to ‘order’ that it be published.”    Sandro continues: “The official bulletin of the audiences shows that Congregation Secretary Morandi was received by Francis on January 28, while Cardinal Prefect Ladaria was last received on March 18, three days after the publication of the Responsum, when the rebellion against the ban had broken out.”    And Sandro adds: “In reality, the rebels were not so much taking aim at Francis himself. They were rather hurling their darts against the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Vatican, the ecclesiastical institution. Implicitly, as on other occasions, they tended to separate the Pope from the Curia and to exempt him from direct responsibility.”    In Sandro’s interpretation, the battle now is for the Church Herself, for the institution of the Church as a visible body with a clear and united teaching worldwide.    Then Sandro looks at the question of the Pope’s next action: his Sunday Angelus on Sunday, March 21, five days after the publication of the document of the CFD on blessings.     Sandro writes: “And he? [that is, Pope Francis] It was like he was in on the game. At the Angelus on Sunday March 21 he added a couple of glosses to the text he was reading, to mark his distance from those clerical, elitist rigidities and aridities that are his habitual target, as a Pope who is on the side of the people against the institution.”    Then, Sandro gives us the actual text of the Pope’s Angelus address. And he separates the words that were prepared by the Vatican staff from words Pope Francis added extemporaneously as he gave the Angelus address this past Sunday at noon in Rome:    Sandro writes: “Here is the passage with the words that Francis added off the cuff underlined:     “It means sowing seeds of love, not with fleeting words but through concrete, simple and courageous examples, not with theoretical condemnations, but with gestures of love. Then the Lord, with his grace, makes us bear fruit, even when the soil is dry due to misunderstandings, difficulty or persecution, or claims of legalism or clerical moralism. This is barren soil.”    Sandro sums up (and this is the important point): “The result of this allusive distancing of the pope is that from this point on the Responsumagainst blessings of homosexual couples will be considered by many as a mere ‘opinion,’ exactly as defined right from the start by the president of the German episcopal conference, Limburg bishop Georg Bätzing.”    Sandro then goes on to describe how Pope John Paul II acted in 2001 after the publication of Dominus Iesus [“The Lord Jesus”] which met with sharp criticism in progressive circles because it focused so uncompromisingly on Jesus as the one Lord whose mission was to save mankind. But you can read how John Paul acted at this link to Sandro’s piece.    ***    Regarding Point #2, here below are two articles which may prove useful in interpreting and evaluating the growing tendency toward the censorship of books, articles, images and videos on the internet and in the global economy. —RM    Above, Cardinal Luis Ladaria, Prefect of the Holy See’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.     By New York Post Editorial Board
February 28, 2021 — In a new and deeply troubling twist on Big Tech’s power, Amazon has decided to quietly squelch a book on transgenderism. Last week, the virtual marketplace stopped selling Ryan Anderson’s 2018 book, When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Movement, which offers a scholarly analysis of transgenderism that questions politically correct sacred cows.     In particular, it shares the stories of adults who were encouraged to transition as children — and later greatly regretted those irreversible alterations.     This follows Amazon’s move to deny service to Parler as that social-media site was growing popular with righties as an alternative to censorship-prone Twitter.     Amazon now controls an astounding 83 percent of US book sales, and its guidelines say that “providing access to the written word is important, including content that may be considered objectionable.”     Its exceptions to that policy include hate speech and sexual exploitation of children, but neither explains why a book making perfectly legitimate points suddenly vanished after three years on the site.     Was it just that the House was passing the Equality Act, which expands anti-discrimination protection for transgender people to controversial areas like sport?     A group of senators including Marco Rubio wrote Amazon boss Jeff Bezos asking why “Amazon has unabashedly wielded its outsized market share to silence an important voice merely for the crime of violating woke groupthink.”     Typically, the tech giant reaches out to publishers or authors before taking action against supposedly offensive content.     But Anderson, who is president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, still has yet to hear why his critically acclaimed work got squelched. Yes, you can still buy the book.     But Big Tech won’t make it easy for you.    [End, New York Post article]===================    Here below is an article about efforts being made by the government of Russia to control — censor — certain pornographic materials that circulate on the internet, in order to protect the Russia people, especially children, from these materials.     In this case, Russia seems to be practicing a type of “censorship” that protects its young people from abusive and harmful media.     Link: https://tass.com/economy/1269283    Russian News Agency TASS     March 23, 2021     Only third of prohibited content removed by Twitter, Russian watchdog says. Moreover, regrettably, new posts with child pornography, suicide propaganda, information about the use of drugs continue to appear, which is absolutely inadmissible. Roscomnadzor will continue to insist Twitter remove prohibited and dangerous information completely and the soonest possible,” it stressed.     On March 10, Russia’s media watchdog announced it was launching an “initial slowdown” against Twitter’s loading speed in Russia because the service had ignored repeated federal requests to remove nationally prohibited content.     The federal regulator vowed to continue these measures against the social giant even going as far as blocking it.     Vadim Subbotin, the watchdog’s deputy head, told TASS that the service would block Twitter in Russia in a month if the latter failed to delete the proscribed information.    [End, TASS article on Twitter content being censored in Russia]    As a special thank you to readers of The Moynihan Letters, we would like to offer you the opportunity to order Finding Viganò: In Search of the Man Whose Testimony Shook the Church and the World. With your purchase, you will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Inside the Vatican magazine. DOMINION, MAKER OF ONE OF THE VOTE COUNTING MACHINES USED IN THE 2020 ELECTORAL VOTE, ATTACKS SIDNEY POWELL OVER HER LAWSUIT AGAINST DOMINION

SIDNEY POWELL UPDATESidney Powell Responds to The Fake News
“The #FakeNews is lying to everyone about our filing in the Dominion case. My position has not changed. We will be taking them to the mat.” – Sidney

Dominion v. FREE SPEECHThis lawsuit is yet another attempt to silence critics and citizens who want to investigate voter fraud. The statements Dominion claims are defamatory are actually protected speech under the First Amendment because they deal with matters of public concern, i.e., election integrity. The Fake News media and their allies are spinning meritless claims because their arguments have neither the facts nor the law needed to hold up in a courtroom.
The statements complained of are also protected because Dominion is a public figure and must prove that Ms. Powell acted with malice.  This is impossible, as Ms. Powell’s lawyer has explained, because Ms. Powell’s statements were based on sworn affidavits, declarations, expert reports and documentary evidence.  She presented this evidence for all to see in four court filings and on her website.
FAKE NEWS v. RealityContrary to what the Fake News is pushing, Sidney did NOT claim in court that ‘no reasonable person would believe her claims’. The press is using twisted legalese and manipulating the legal standard to confuse the issue, as they have done before in other high-profile cases. Ms. Powell’s statements were legal opinions that she stands behind, as they were based on sworn affidavits, declarations, expert reports and documentary evidence.
Dominion claims that the evidence Ms. Powell relied upon to assert her claims concerning the lack of election integrity is incredible and not believable.  Ms. Powell responded by pointing out that her assertions were her legal opinions based on the evidence she presented to four different courts.  Accordingly, her statements are not subject to challenge under defamation law.Official Statement from Sidney’s Lawyer

HOWARD KLEINHENDLERATTORNEY FOR SIDNEY POWELLRESPONDS TO MEDIA ALLEGATIONS CONCERNING MOTION TO DISMISS FILED AGAINST DOMINION COMPLAINT

New York, New York March 23, 2021

Yesterday, several news media outlets cut and paste out of context portions of our motion to dismiss the Dominion complaint to “spin” a message that the election fraud allegations that Ms. Powell presented to various courts and to the public were not credible. I’d like to clarify what actually was presented to the court. First, let me be clear: any suggestion that “no reasonable person” would believe Ms. Powell or her comments on the election is false. The language these reports referred to is a legal standard adopted by the courts to determine whether statements qualify as opinions which are exempt from defamation liability.

As the DC Circuit reaffirmed just last week, there is no claim for defamation when the alleged “defamatory” statement is a legal opinion. Ms. Powell’s statements fall precisely into this category. Ms. Powell reviewed sworn affidavits, declarations, expert testimony, and other highly corroborated evidence concerning the election which Ms. Powell filed with the courts and shared publicly. She continues to stand by those opinions today. Our motion, in part, argues that the Dominion case should be dismissed because legal opinions are not grounds for defamation.

In sum, the legal standard of a technical legal defense crafted by the courts has been improperly manipulated by the media to tell a false narrative. Ms. Powell is not backing down or retracting her previous statements concerning Dominion. Dominion’s case lacks legal merit and should be dismissed in its entirety.

WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE

William M. Briggs

STATISTICIAN TO THE STARS!

24 MARCH 2021SEARCH FOR…

There’s been sufficient water under the bridge, so maybe I can intelligently comment on our political fate. More than enough water. But I wanted to be charitable. Or I tell myself that, at least. The tea leaves are more than legible now. They practically scream out to us if we would simply look at their form. I don’t think anyone can mistake the trajectory we are on. But it’s the speed of its onset that has been breathtaking

That suddenness is certainly understandable, given the absolute chutzpah displayed in The Steal. A boldness not seen since Babel. A boldness both political and ecclesial.

I’ve been a political creature for much of my life, a part me which never really dies. Man, after all, is a social animal, and politics is not inherently evil. In practice, it usually is. I’ve had vast experience, at levels low and high, in both parties. And both parties, because they are made of men, are full of sinners.

In my experience, here’s how the sinners break down, in their ranks. Republicans are retail, Democrats are wholesale, but the Oligarchs (who own both sides, effectively) are industrial-strength. Almost on a Manhattan Project scale.

As delineated by the now-infamous Time magazine https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/ jubilant ‘confession’. The secrecy of the planning that went into this effort (which surely took all of the four years needed) is almost admirable. It means, in my mind, that something along the lines of omerta was (and still is) at work. Fredo found out the hard way, back in that day. Seth Rich found out in our day. The lesson is crystal clear, in every age. Most of us figure it out pretty quickly. And then we lay low.

We are now captives. The question, of course, is by whom are we captured? Some say the Left (domestically), others say by China, geo-politically. Others say the Oligarchs, and even the Dem’s say (of course), by Vlad. Others say it is the Globo-Masonic Cooperative, an idea which seems to embrace all of the above. I agree with it all. But only at the level of subsidiarity. For while each of these player-factions has a dominant role in their relative sphere of influence, there is another force that no one pays any attention to. But only because its strength seems never to be exercised.

Who would that be? Who else is there with the global reach that could effectively paralyze nearly the entire world, without the force of arms, no less? Well, I’ll tell you—it is The Church

No, not just that vague description that seeks to embrace all ‘Christians’ in that particular term. After all, there can be nothing fearfully powerful in Protestantism, fractured and feckless as it actually is. And no, it doesn’t include the Orthodox either, as they are simply the original Protestants. But wait. Am I saying that the indefectible Church is the source of our enslavement? Yes, but in two opposite ways. For two opposite reasons.

The first, of course, corresponds to reality, which in a well-ordered world should be true. In this sense of the word, the enslavement is both knowing and willing. The members willingly submit to the institution, and by logical extension, to its Founder. This is the properly ordered vision of The Church. A vision that ends with the enslaved becoming adoptees of the ruling family, after a lifetime (here) of faithful service. This is not the version I am writing about here.

To be truthful, this version has largely faded from view (and practice). But not entirely. The fact of the matter is that most open members of this institution today do not serve it (and by logical extension, its Founder). In fact, they are actually resisting it. Most do it passively, and much of it is due to incorrect (or non-existent) catechesis. But many are in open rebellion. Their ranks include the political ‘leaders’ of our time. Ask Nancy, Joe, Sonia, Brett, Amy and John if you don’t believe me.

So, no, this is not who has actually captured us, though they are surely our Kapos.  JudenRats all. The rats of New Israel. But today’s rats are just as effective as their spiritual forebearers. All for the carnal regime they serve. And the pay they get.

Who owns them? Is it Soros? Gates? Zuckerberg? The Koch Brothers? No, they too are Kapos. Just at a higher level. But not the highest. And besides, most of them aren’t Catholic, in the legal sense of the term. The few who are, are simply the openly rebellious kind I have already mentioned. No, these larger techno-rats are simply the wholly-owned subsidiaries of a larger conglomerate. So the question becomes this: who in the world could effectively own these Oligarchs (and their many minions)?

The answer is quite simple. The owners are those who, if they wished, could destroy them. Not without cost, mind you. But certainly, they have this power. History and prophecy both attest to this. Ceasars, both East and West, all understood this, though often too late. But ultimately, they knew. These men, feared by Caesars of all ages, are titled ‘Bishops’.

I must confess two things. First, I should have made a clear distinction between The Church and those who currently occupy her thrones. That is, the Bishops. Our captors. The Deposit of the Faith has been entrusted to them, personally. And it is they who have failed us. But it is truly a fair question to ask, have we deserved them?

My second confession is this; I personally am led by one of the few good Bishops left. There are still a few such men. They are just too few. Strickland, Conley, Naumann and a few others. Men who will call Joe out by name. Wo be fair to these few good men, we must ask, do they deserve me?

Now comes the further question: just what have the majority of the nation’s Bishops done to earn my scorn? I won’t belabor the point but I will give two examples. One is a sin of omission, the other a sin of commission. Let’s take that last one first.

I can sum it up in these few words. Sex scandals, without end. Need I say more? You can argue all you want about the origins of this horror. Go all the way back to Bella Dodd if you like. Read AA 1025 if you want the gory details. But the facts are clear. Not one Bishop has stood up in the theatre and yelled ‘fire’!

Wait. That’s not true. There actually was one Bishop who stood up and shouted it out. Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz, of Lincoln, Nebraska. He made a motion, at the Bishop’s council, in 2002, when the subject was finally broached. His motion was to ascertain just exactly why all these pervert priests were being produced by supposedly Catholic seminaries. His motion died for lack of a second

That’s right. Out of nearly 200 Bishops in America, not one was willing to second Bp. Bruskewitz’ motion. Not one. So, the sin of commission (priestly perversion) was then covered up by the Episcopal sin of omission (the refusal to call out those who produced it).

But that sin of omission pales (if that is even possible) to their latest sin. The sin that has consigned America to the dustbin of nations, and even Empires (though I do not mourn that). And what was this grievous sin? It was the refusal to challenge the Scientism that ruled that the Church, in all her goodness, was not essential! It was the Bishops refusal to challenge Caesar when he demanded that we all burn a pinch of incense at the altar of the gods of ‘Science’ that has enslaved us to Caesar!

Yes, WalMart and Planned Parenthood were ‘essential’, but our Creator was not. Without even a whimper, they all fell silent. We all know the result. I won’t belabour the point. The pain of this failure to act, on behalf of the flock, is to my mind, their greatest single failure. And given the past fifty years, that is saying a lot.

Why would they do this? Here is how I see it. It comes down to the desire for money. That, after all, is the root of all evil. Which, when met, buys power and pleasure. No man is immune to these temptations. In our day, few seem to be able to resist them. Which is why evil is so widespread. And thus, we are captives of them (apart from our own sins).

It used to be that there was a bastion of resistance to this temptation. A redoubt filled with men who had nothing but contempt for earthly gain. At least, if it meant the loss of eternal gain. Herein lies the crux. Those times are gone because those men are gone. Our enemies, corporeal and otherwise, now have free rein. Because no men of true power oppose them.

It’s not the case that the institution (that is, its unchanging stated dogma) itself has disappeared. No, the ecclesial thrones are still there, their machinery is still in place. Their staff, in fact, is bulging (even if their seminaries aren’t). But now the machinery is stamping out license plates instead of medals. But those license plates bring in money. No, not for the prisoners. For the wardens. Our Bishops.

The machinery is busy stamping out programs for the homeless, the illegal immigrants, the addicted, the orphaned, and all others bereft of the benefits of a better past. My point is not to criticize these efforts. It is, rather, to focus on who writes the (secular) regulations that direct the efforts. And the natural effect of those secular regulations.

Which is to say, the multiplication (rather than the reduction) of those who suffer those ailments. In other words, instead of feeding the flock, they are feeding a bureaucracy that does not truly seek to eradicate the problems, but seems rather gifted in enlarging them. After all, how else will you grow your budget? A budget fed, not solely by the faithful in the pews, but by government largess. As Joe Sobran so rightly knew, the program was the problem. And those who fund it. After all, these same problems had been dealt with successfully in the past. In the time before the government funded the Church. Directly (as in Germany and France) or indirectly (here).

Has the government subverted the Church, with programmatic monies that need not rely on the faithful in the pews? Or has the Church subverted the government, by appearing to cede direct responsibility to government, in return for money, as their progressive agent?

Do you see what I am saying? That, in the end, the one receiving the money is the one who is in control? That the one who has the power to destroy the other, but who holds off as long as the money comes in, is in control? Put on your Phrygian thinking cap and think this out with me.

You may wonder how I can think that the secular/governmental forces have not done yeoman’s work in destroying the Church. I say, it was all done willingly, on the part of both the Church and State. Partners in crime. In return for not chastising the corrupt politicians, the corrupt politicians have not chastised the corrupt leadership of the Church. A handsome deal!

Again, who has the power to destroy the other? We already know (although we don’t appear to believe) that ‘the gates of Hell shall not prevail…’. We are also assured that in The End, the gates of Heaven shall prevail. And we further know that for a millennium or more, Christendom held firm rein over the earthly Lords of the Realm, and mankind prospered.

Yes, I know, we could not hear the words of the previous secular leader calling us to openly resist The StealThe falcon could not hear the (secular) falconer. Put aside the secular world for just a moment, and ask yourself this: who holds the power of Excommunication? Of Interdiction? And lastly, most importantly, the power to free the people of their allegiance to secular power? Who indeed? The Bishops! But I cannot hear them speak either. Can you, my fellow falcon?

Yet who benefits most, temporally speaking, from the current sad state of man? Certainly not the faithful. They are the true captives here (just as the taxpayer is in the secular realm). And certainly not the apostate Kapos who punish us (as citizens) now, but who will rue this in the next life, for their many sins here. No, the ultimate beneficiaries of the current Mammonite regime are those who are relieved of the need to discipline, not the secular world, but rather themselves. Those men who have received the mission of protecting the flock, but who are now looking aside as the sheep are scattered. And for what? For comfort. For pleasure (licit and otherwise). And power. But they have forgotten the clock. Which will ultimately run out.

Yet all they need do to eradicate their sin (and our suffering) is very simple. Lay down their life for their sheep. That’s the exact job description, if I’m not mistaken. Check with HR. I didn’t say the job wasn’t hard. I just said it was simple. And if they would do it, more or less in unison, the power of the State would crumble. If they would say, ‘Mr. President, tear down this Covid Plexiglass Wall’ and then open up their churches, with absolutely no restrictions, the JudenRats and their Market Overlords would crumble. Without a single shot being fired.

I’ve said it before in a different context. If Patriarch Kyrill of the Russian Orthodox Church withdrew his approval of Vlad Putin, the Russian oligarchy would collapse. And their people freed. Just as the Bishops of Russia failed to resist Tsar Alexi in 1666, when the Tsar deposed Patriarch Nikon over exactly the same issues. With the same result. Slavery, of both people and Church. But it gave freedom (aka license) for the ecclesial rulers. They lived large, as they stood silent before the Tsar.

If there had been twenty or more Bishops in Angland (instead of just St. John Fisher, alone) who stood up to Henry VIII in 1531, the world would be an entirely different and wonderful place. But it was not to be.

And now we are here. In other words, this is not a new problem. We keep going down the same path, nation by nation. Now it is here. In America. Home of the brave, land of the free. Wait. Check that.

It doesn’t have to end this way. We don’t have to repeat every error of the past. There is a way out. But it will cost us. Not as citizens (for that concept is now dead). No, it can only be at the expense of believers. We will have to offer the sacrifice that our shepherds refuse to make. We will have to suffer for them, as they will not suffer for us. And how will we do this?

We’ll never take back our country until we take back our Church. In that exact order. It’s that simple. And exactly that hard. So then, how do we take back our church?

First, we must heal the wound of division. The wound of Vatican II, that divided us, from each other and from our common past. And made us Samaritans in the eyes of each other. We must look past the Pharisees and the Sadducees both. We must come together in Moses. For Christ Jesus himself said, ‘if ye knew Moses, ye would know Me’. For who was it that stood up to the earthly Pharaoh, before the division of Israel into her factions? Moses. The Lawgiver. To lead us forward into the promised land that America proclaims herself to be, we must go back to what Angland was before she abandoned her Faith. Back to Henry VIII, before 1531, when he was known by Eternal Rome as https://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07222a.htm”>The Defender of Faith

Later, Henry (and then the flock) refused to bend their knees to Holy Rome. And now she has found herself bowed before the secular forces that also besiege Imperial Rome here in America, Britain’s successor to the Empire. And why not? After all, Britain and America are both the same. Both were the legitimate successors of Imperial Rome. We are both rebellious to Holy Rome. The beginning of national restoration must start within the Catholic side. Why? Because only the Catholic side believes reparation is due. And reparation must precede restoration.

How will this be done?

The Catholics must first make peace amongst themselves. They must heal their own division first if they wish to attract their Samaritan brethren to their cause. A cause which can restore their nation. But only if, like the Maccabees, they have cleansed the temple first. Only then will our Protestant brothers receive that book again, in joy. And return to the one true Temple.

The problem is, there are very few anointed (episcopal) shepherds to lead us. So we will have to do it, as Juda Maccabees and his brothers understood, by ourselves. Only then will our true shepherds re-emerge. But it can be done.

I know that this is not only possible, but that it is actually happening. Locally, there is a man who, while of the Traditional Rite, goes to Mass every Saturday at the local (Anglish Rite) Mass. Why? To visit the imprisoned. A corporal work of mercy. To show his solidarity with them, as fellow Catholics. Together, after Mass, he and a group of Anglish-Rite men (not women!) approach the altar and pray a public Rosary, asking for the merciful end of the current chastisement of the (entire) Holy Church. And mirabile dictu, the Anglish-Rite priest joins them. Not a word, other than the Rosary, is exchanged between them all. What more is there to say? Deo Gratias!

Conversely, I know that there is also, in the Carolinas, a new seminary bursting with men with zealous vocations. A diocesan seminary. Not a Latin Mass seminary. Deep in the South of Protestant America! There is no shortage of vocations there. Only a shortage of support, from us Traditionalists. The renewal of the Church (and then, our nation) can only happen in the larger (but weaker) Church that is supported by those of the Traditional bent. And after all, does not God always choose the weaker vessel to bring his healing? Pharisee, heal thyself!

Scripturally speaking, our enemies are almost always found in our families and our Temples. It’s not the barbarians outside the city walls who present the true danger. They are future converts. History is replete with this proof. It’s the enemy within that presents the true danger. The real fight, as I’ve said before, is inside the walls. The walls of Holy Rome. If we want reinforcements from our Samaritan brothers, we will have to show some unity to attract them. Latins and Anglo’s alike, we must show our unity to win this fight.

The fight consists in this: we must all pray for our Bishops, our true captors. Only they can successfully confront Caesar and his Kapos. It’s the only way out, for our people and nation.

And it’s the only way in. To Heaven.

For pastors and sheep alike.

GOD SAVE OUR GREAT NATION FROM THE JUDAS HR1 BILL Nancy Pelosi IS PUSHING THROUGH THE House of Representatives

R.F. Judas Democrats’ HR1 Bill is Treason against the US Constitution & 80% of the American People

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c3/Ratfin.jpg/220px-Ratfin.jpg

This is the reality: Biden has set us on a collision course with tyranny at home.” – Scholar Roger Kimball, who is the editor and publisher of The New Criterion and publisher of Encounter Books

Judas Iscariot was once considered Jesus Christ’s trusted disciple. He is now the poster boy for treachery. He is history’s most famous traitor. His name is the symbol for back-stabbing snakes and rat finks (R.F.s).

In the forties and sixties, FDR and JFK Democrats were considered trusted American patriots who would never commit treason against the United States Constitution. The Nancy Pelosi/Joe Biden Democrats are now the poster boys and girls for treachery. They will go down in history as America’s most famous traitors. Their name will be the symbol for back-stabbing snakes and rat finks (R.F.s).

In 2018, President Donald Trump said Democrats were “treasonous”:

“They were like death and un-American.  Un-American. Somebody said, ‘treasonous.’ I mean, yeah, I guess, why not? Can we call that treason? Why not? I mean, they certainly didn’t seem to love our country very much.” [ttps://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2018/feb/06/donald-trump/donald-trumps-pants-fire-claim-about-treason/]

The Democrats’ bill, H.R.1, is treason against the U.S. Constitution because it is beyond doubt that the Constitution precisely demands that presidential elections “oversight” is placed in “the states” and not in “the clutches of the federal government and its sprawling bureaucracy.”

Scholar Roger Kimball, who is the editor and publisher of The New Criterion and publisher of Encounter Books, stated:

In other words, H.R. 1 would centralize presidential elections, taking responsibility for oversight away from the states, where the Constitution placed it, and arrogating it to the clutches of the federal government and its sprawling bureaucracy.

If, as seems almost certain, H.R. 1 becomes the law of the land, it would be the final nail in the coffin of electoral integrity…

… This is the reality: Biden has set us on a collision course with tyranny at home.[https://www.theepochtimes.com/for-us-gradual-ruin-is-about-to-become-sudden_3733858.html]

Earlier this month, The Epoch Times reported that “Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill, H.R. 1, to be voted on this week, trashes the U.S. Constitution“:

From California to New York, Dems are already pushing to allow noncitizens to vote in local elections. They see this as their roadmap to a future permanent majority.

H.R. 1’s bag of tricks also includes banning state voter ID requirements. Anyone can show up on Election Day to vote, registered or not, and simply sign a statement that they’re a legal voter. H.R. 1 is being sold as a reform to make voting easier. In truth, it makes cheating easier.

H.R. 1 compels states to send out absentee or mail-in ballots universally, favoring Democrats who tend to use this method. It also forces states to count ballots that arrive by mail as late as 10 days after the election. Say goodbye to election night finality.

H.R. 1 also legalizes ballot harvesting, a practice many states are struggling to stop. A political organization pays a worker to walk through housing projects and neighborhoods, knock on doors, offer to help residents fill out the ballots they’ve received in the mail, and then submit the piles of completed ballots. It’s a recipe for fraud.

It’s also unconstitutional.

The authors of the Constitution worried that Congress would try to seize control of presidential selection using dirty tricks like those in H.R. 1. That’s why they acted “to take the business as far as possible out of their hands,” according to Charles Pinckney, a [Constitution] framer from South Carolina.

Congress, said Pinckney, “had no right to meddle” in it. The framers provided in Article II, Sec. 1 that only state legislatures would have the power to determine how the president is chosen. No national rules.

But Pelosi has no qualms about trashing the Constitution to kneecap her opponents.

H.R. 1 also asserts Congress has the authority to make the District of Columbia into the 51st state. That would hand Democrats two more Senate seats, breaking the current 50-50 tie. Voter registration in D.C. is 76 percent Democratic and only 6 percent Republican.

Pelosi ignores that only a constitutional amendment can change the status or parameters of the District. [https://www.theepochtimes.com/nancys-election-rigging-bill_3719359.html]

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich declared the situation in the United States is one where 80% of the American people oppose the R.F. Judas Democrats’ HR1 Bill treason and their tyrannical agenda. In an article titled “The American People Versus the Democratic Machine,” he wrote:

On voting integrity, 85 percent of Americans say mail in ballots must require signature verification to be counted. Eighty-four percent say only American citizens should be able to vote in elections, and 81 percent say photo identification should be required for all voting—in-person and absentee.

On the economy, 87 percent support a “Made in America” tax credit for companies who manufacture in the United States. And 82 percent say we must demand fairness in trade with communist China.

In other areas, 87 percent support mandatory deportation for noncitizens who are in criminal gangs. Eighty-six percent of Americans support term limits for members of both chambers of the Congress. And a full 85 percent support protecting religious freedom from government interference.

Eighty-one percent of Americans support school choice for every American child—as well as anti-trust legislation to regulate Big Tech to protect competition, free speech, and privacy.

Finally, 80 percent of Americans say we should fully fund (not defund) our police and law enforcement.

If you go down this list of 80 percent-plus support issues and consider where the Democratic machine is on most of these, it becomes apparent that the 2022 midterm elections will become much larger than simply Republicans versus Democrats.

It seems to me that 2022—and potentially 2024—will be defined as the American people versus the Democratic machine. [https://www.theepochtimes.com/the-american-people-vs-the-democratic-machine_3742534.html]

Francis Notes:

– Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales totally confirmed beyond any doubt the possibility of a heretical pope and what must be done by the Church in such a situation:

“[T]he Pope… WHEN he is EXPLICITLY a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church MUST either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.”
(The Catholic Controversy, by St. Francis de Sales, Pages 305-306)

Saint Robert Bellarmine, also, said “the Pope heretic is not deposed ipso facto, but must be declared deposed by the Church.”

Signs of the long term effects of vaccinations are beginning to appear.  It’s called Antibody-Dependent Enhancement (ADE)

where antibodies that normally alleviate the symptoms of viral infection end up doing the opposite, facilitating entry of the virus into cells, and via a resultant “cytokine storm,” damage internal organs.  This is precisely what Canadian virologist Dolores Cahill predicted back in January.

Portentous Sign: Covid Cases Spike in a Dozen States With High Vaccination Rates Which May Signal a Feared Health Catastrophe

By Bill Sardi

March 22, 2021

Virologists and public health authorities aren’t publicly saying what this means, at least not yet… but they know there may be something very ominous unfolding.  Something virologists all feared.  Something that must be kept hush-hush until vaccine makers inoculate the world and make their billions of dollars and national leaders reach their political goals.  But politicians just may end up taking blame, not credit, for a health catastrophe of unprecedented proportion.

The fact COVID cases are spiking in a dozen States with high vaccination rates may indicate vaccination is spawning viral mutations that turn vaccinated individuals into superspreaders.  The vaccine suppresses symptoms but fails to halt transmission.

A vaccine-induced health catastrophe may be unfolding.  It is something journalist Mike Whitney recently called “Satan’s Poker.”  It is what mathematicians in France recently feared in their analysis of the future course of the COVID pandemic.

COVID-19 is likely mutating and is turning on younger age groups.  As the mathematicians stated in October of 2020 in the journal of Mathematical Biosciences, health authorities need to monitor, very early on, if a significant number of younger people are affected by a severe form of the disease.  That would be a shift from the frail elderly to middle-age adults, which is what is occurring in Israel where 50% of the population has been inoculated with an RNA vaccine.

Israel becomes the country where its citizens become guinea pigs

Israel is the human laboratory where such a catastrophe may first be noticed.  Reportedly 76 of every 100 Israelis have been vaccinated with the Pfizer RNA COVID-19 vaccine at $28 per dose.

Under a headline article entitled “Israel’s Clever Coronavirus Vaccination Strategy,” DW.com (Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster) quotes the chief of anesthesiology at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv to say:

“We are seeing young people connected to a heart and lung machine – something we have not really seen before.  We are witnessing tragedies here.”

The government there in Israel is blaming the problem on vaccine refusal rather than investigating whether the vaccine itself is changing the direction of the pandemic.

A frightening story comes from Mike Whitney, writing that “Israel’s COVID-19 cases… spike sharply during the first month of the mass vaccination campaign.”  Israel has sold itself to Big Pharma and has agreed to become a giant experimental laboratory for the new RNA vaccines.

As the RNA vaccines have been rolled out and around half of the Israeli population has been immunized there has been a major shift in coronavirus demographics: “70% of new COVID-19 cases are under age 39; only 5.5% are over age 60; 40% of critical patients are under age 60,” according to Whitney’s report.

This begs the question: have the vaccines created a more virulent strain of the virus that targets younger age groups, in particular the unvaccinated.

According to Whitney’s report, Orthodox Jews in Israel now experience a 15-fold rise in morbidity while Israeli Arabs experienced a decline.  The Arabic segment of the population did not comply with the efforts to vaccinate as did the Orthodox.

Not monster virus, but monster vaccine

An alarm has been issued by a leading virologist that vaccination will create “a wild monster” that is going to wipe out large parts of human populations.  The Israeli experience appears to back this claim.

According to Whitney’s report, within a two-month period, inoculations in Israel managed to double the number of accumulated deaths in the prior ten months of the pandemic.  The so-called superspreaders may be the vaccinated.

Antibodies backfire

What the French mathematicians are talking about in medical terms is called Antibody-Dependent Enhancement (ADE) where antibodies that normally alleviate the symptoms of viral infection end up doing the opposite, facilitating entry of the virus into cells, and via a resultant “cytokine storm,” damage internal organs.  This is precisely what Canadian virologist Dolores Cahill predicted back in January.
Professor Dolores Cahill: Why People Will Start Dying a Few Months After… Comments open on BitChute 5 Pack:Men’s Ath… Buy New $29.99 (as of 05:33 EST – Details) Columbia Men’s S… B…

Reinfection among the vaccinated

Also, reinfection is surely occurring.  Vaccine makers are saying maybe a third inoculation may now be needed, a concession the initial round of two inoculations isn’t working, believing this will raise antibody response 10-20-fold.  But that may only worsen the problem.

In their mathematical predictions, the mathematicians in France describe a pandemic that alters course and instead of reinfection causing 4.1% of all COVID deaths it causes 28%.  All reinfected individuals experience severe disease with a death rate of 10% in their mathematical model.

Excess deaths not COVID

The World Health Organization, which is over-committed to the vaccination model of managing infectious disease, isn’t waving a red flag yet and has been keeping another fact hidden, that the excess deaths that have been reported are among non-COVID patients and are middle-aged.  This is the CDC reporting this, not some wanna-be-famous anti-vaxxer.

There is no health crisis, no evidence that demands a lockdown.  Over 95% of infected patients globally get well on their own.

IBM Partners With Moderna for COVID Reset

by Dr. Joseph Mercola

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • IBM and Moderna have teamed up to produce COVID-19 digital health passes to allow people to “return to the activities and things they love.” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the Excelsior Pass, built on IBM’s Digital Health Pass, during his January 2021 state of the state address
  • Other pilot programs for health verification passes have also been rolled out in various places around the world. In Israel, there’s the Green Pass, and in Los Angeles, California, schools have adopted the Daily Pass QR Health Portal, a partnership between Microsoft and Anthem Health. The European Commission has also rolled out a plan for its own digital green pass
  • The voluntary “health passes” now being rolled out are just the tip of the iceberg. Before long, they will become mandatory, at which point unvaccinated individuals will be effectively excluded from society
  • Health passes are tied in with the far broader agenda known as the Great Reset, which involves a complete redesign of supply chains and capital organization structures
  • Health passes will also help build and facilitate the transhumanist technocratic plan to profit from genomic data collection

Franklin Graham Blasts Abortion: “In God’s Eyes, Abortion is Murder”

NATIONAL   MICAIAH BILGER   MAR 22, 2021   |   9:42AM    WASHINGTON, DC

Evangelical Christian leader Franklin Graham said he is praying that President Joe Biden’s eyes will be opened to the truth about abortion.

Writing Friday on Facebook, Graham said the president needs to recognize that abortion is murder and stop supporting it.

“President Biden should consider that, in God’s eyes, abortion is murder,” Graham wrote. “It is the killing of the innocent, not the guilty. President Biden supports abortion, and his administration supports abortion—even government/taxpayer funding of abortion.”

Biden says he is a devout Catholic, but his radical pro-abortion views have drawn criticism from Catholic and Protestant leaders alike. Among other things, Biden signed a COVID-19 relief bill that has no limits on taxpayer funding for abortions. He also is urging Congress to pass the misnamed Equality Act, which could force pro-life doctors and nurses to abort unborn babies.

Graham said abortions are a massive tragedy in America – one that leaders should work to end, not expand.

“This year more than 185,000 babies have been murdered through abortion in this country,” he wrote. “I pray that President Biden’s eyes and heart would be opened to this tragedy and that our country would change its course on abortion. We will be held accountable by God.”

The son of the late Rev. Billy Graham, Franklin Graham repeatedly has called out politicians who support the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

In January, he encouraged Christians to pray that Biden would listen to God’s voice and not be swayed by self-interest.

“Just because we might not have voted for someone doesn’t mean that we get a pass to not pray for them. The Bible instructs us to pray for all of our leaders—’all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior’ (1 Timothy 2:2-3). We must not give up or waver,” he wrote in January.

Graham is the CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization working in more than 100 countries to provide aid to victims of war, disease, disaster, poverty, famine and persecution.
