Recently, CNN ran a piece titled “Black women say they are invisible in abortion rights fight: ‘We are still forgotten within all of this.’”
The piece, which highlights the stories of five black women who had abortions, said the reversal of Roe v. Wade “stripped [many black women] of bodily autonomy” and “created another barrier to economic security and choosing the course of their future.” Widespread abortion access, it said, has “especially benefited black women who continue to fight for an equal place in the US.”
I call this an abortion apocalypse — each act the taking of an innocent human life.

Although they make up just 13 percent of the female population, black women account for over one-third of all abortions performed in this country each year. In some places, like New York City, there are actually more black abortions in some years than black live births.
There’s a number of reasons for these numbers — including fatherlessness, poverty, a lack of decent educational options and low marriage rates. Which is why a crucial part of ending this abortion epidemic begins with fixing the black family. At a time when most black children are being raised by single mothers, we need to encourage marriage and prioritize fatherhood. School choice can help too, so that black children stuck in failing inner-city schools can see a way out of failure and into a more successful future.

If CNN wants to hear more black female voices, they could start with me. In 1950, my mother was considering an abortion when my grandaddy convinced her that I was a human life. I was saved from abortion that day, and I believe God has commissioned me to raise my voice in defense of life.
The pro-life movement believes that Civil Rights begin in the womb, and the American Dream is a dream for all Americans— including the unborn. It’s a dream I learned first-hand from my uncle, Martin Luther King, Jr. Although he died before abortion was legalized, people often wonder how MLK would feel about abortion. I think some insight can be revealed from his own words: “The Negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the futures of his children for immediate personal comfort and safety. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” 14
As a nation, we must stand up to the radical left and their goal of taxpayer-funded abortions all the way up until birth. And we must continue to pray with faith, hope, love and compassion that all Americans come to cherish life for all God’s children, from the womb to the tomb.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) Went to Town After the Schumer-Manchin Bill…Can’t Believe What He Said!
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) isn’t mincing any words about what the Democrats just did by passing the Schumer-Manchin Bill. This guy is known for calling it as he sees it, and this latest commentary on what his progressive comrades did is no exception.
Sen. Kennedy called it a “special kind of stupid.”
While the Democrats are hailing their move as a “victory,” Kennedy wants people to know that they just passed a huge tax and spending bill right smack dab in the middle of a recession.
The folksy Louisiana senator explained just how hard this was going to hit his state and all of America. Kennedy said that now “Joeflation would not just refer to Joe Biden’s inflation, but you can add in Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) as well.
He highlighted that in the legislation, there is a tax on oil and gas. He reminded voters that when you tax something, you get less of it. And right now, with the price of oil and gas so high, Biden is already having to plead with the Saudis for oil.
With the price of gas almost certainly to go up, Manchin quipped that we could all just go out and buy an electric vehicle…that’s a $75,000 electric vehicle.
“That’s not going to work in Louisiana. That’s not going to work across America,” Kennedy declared.
The non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation found that increased taxes were going to fall on everyone in the nation. This will cost thousands of jobs, reduce the economic output, and reduce the after taxes incomes for taxpayers. And this will be across every income quintile in the long run.

The FBI is dissolving before our eyes into a rogue security service akin to those in Eastern Europe during the Cold War.
Take the FBI’s deliberately asymmetrical application of the law. This week the bureau surprise-raided the home of former President Donald Trump—an historical first.
A massive phalanx of FBI agents swooped into the Trump residence while he was not home, to confiscate his personal property, safe, and records. All of this was over an archival dispute of presidential papers common to many former presidents. Agents swarmed the entire house, including the wardrobe closet of the former first lady.
Note we are less than 90 days out from a midterm election, and this was not just a raid, but a political act.
The Democratic Party is anticipated to suffer historical losses. Donald Trump was on the verge of announcing his 2024 presidential candidacy. In many polls, he remains the Republican front-runner for the nomination—and well ahead of incumbent Joe Biden in a putative 2024 rematch.
In 2016 then FBI Director James Comey announced that candidate Hillary Clinton was guilty of destroying subpoenaed emails—a likely felony pertaining to her tenure as secretary of state. Yet he all but pledged that she would not be prosecuted given her status as a presidential candidate.
As far as targeting presidential candidates, Donald Trump was impeached in 2020 ostensibly for delaying military aid to Ukraine by asking Ukrainian officials to investigate more fully the clearly corrupt Biden family—given Joe Biden at the time was a likely possible presidential opponent in 2020.
The FBI has devolved into a personal retrieval service for the incorrigible Biden family. It suppressed, for political purposes, information surrounding Hunter Biden’s missing laptop on the eve of the 2020 election.
Previously, the FBI never pursued Hunter’s fraudulently registered firearm, his mysterious foreign income, his felonious crack cocaine use, or his regular employment of foreign prostitutes.
Yet in a pre-dawn raid just before the 2020 election, the FBI targeted the home of journalist James O’Keefe on grounds someone had passed to him the lost and lurid diary of Ashley Biden, Biden’s wayward daughter.
At various times, in Stasi-style, the FBI has publicly shackled Trump economic advisor Peter Navarro, swarmed the office of Trump’s legal counsel Rudy Giuliani, and sent a SWAT team to surround the house of Trump ally Roger Stone. Meanwhile, terrorists and cartels walk with impunity across an open border.
FBI Director Christopher Wray last week cut short his evasive testimony before Congress. He claimed he had to leave for a critical appointment—only to use his FBI Gulfstream luxury jet to fly to his favorite vacation spot in the Adirondacks.
Wray took over from disgraced interim FBI Director Andrew McCabe. The latter admitted lying repeatedly to federal investigators and signed off on a fraudulent FBI FISA application. He faced zero legal consequences.
McCabe, remember, was also the point man in the softball Hillary Clinton email investigation—while his wife was a political candidate and recipient of thousands of dollars from a political action committee with close ties to the Clinton family.
McCabe took over from disgraced FBI Director James Comey. On 245 occasions, Comey claimed under oath before the House Intelligence Committee that he had no memory or knowledge of key questions concerning his tenure. With impunity, he leaked confidential FBI memos to the media.
Comey took over from Director Robert Mueller. Implausibly, Mueller swore under oath that he had no knowledge, either of the Steele dossier or of Fusion GPS, the firm that commissioned Christopher Steele to compile the dossier. But those were the very twin catalysts that had prompted his entire special investigation into the Russian collusion hoax.
FBI legal counsel Kevin Clinesmith was convicted of a felony for altering an FBI warrant request to spy on an innocent Carter Page.
The FBI, by Comey’s public boasts, bragged how it caught National Security Advisor designate General Michael Flynn in its Crossfire Hurricane Russian collusion hoax.
As special counsel, Mueller then fired two of his top investigators—Lisa Page and Peter Strzok—for improper personal and professional behavior. He then staggered their releases to mask their collaborative wrongdoing.
Mueller’s team deleted critical cell phone evidence under subpoena that might well have revealed systemic FBI-related bias.
The FBI interferes with and warps national elections. It hires complete frauds as informants who are far worse than its targets. It humiliates or exempts government and elected officials based on their politics. It violates the civil liberties of individual American citizens.
The FBI’s highest officials now routinely mislead Congress. They have erased or altered court and subpoenaed evidence. They illegally leak confidential material to the media. And they have lied under oath to federal investigators.
The agency has become dangerous to Americans and an existential threat to their democracy and rule of law. The FBI should be dispersing its investigatory responsibilities to other government investigative agencies that have not yet lost the public trust.

Are the Francis Vatican II Clerical Apparatus & the FBI Apparatus so “’Hip Deep’ in Corruption” that they needs to be “Abolished”?
Catholic pundit Ann Barnhardt seemed to say in her “Parable of the Taco Bell” that the Vatican II clerical apparatus is so corrupt that it needs to be razed to the ground like a “building [that] was so filthy and thus so overrun with cockroaches that even intense treatments from professional fumigation and pest-control firms were ineffective in clearing the building of cockroaches”:
When I was a kid, we had two Mexican fast-food joints: Taco Grande and Taco John’s. Then, when I was about ten, Taco Bell came to town and built from a dirt-start a brand new Taco Bell on a formerly empty lot. I never liked Taco Bell, and never ate there. I preferred Taco John’s.
Fast-forward in the story 12-15 years. I am now in my early 20s, have been gone from the Kansas City area for many years, and have given exactly zero thought to the hometown Taco Bell. I get a call from someone back in the ancestral homeland who tells me, “Hey, they razed the Taco Bell – went in with dozers and scraped it.”
“What happened? Did it burn?” After all, why would they raze a building that was less than 15 years old? Surely there must have been a fire, and razing the remains was the cheapest option, right?
Wrong.
It turned out that inspectors had discovered that the building was so filthy and thus so overrun with cockroaches that even intense treatments from professional fumigation and pest-control firms were ineffective in clearing the building of cockroaches. So, the only path forward was to raze the building, haul away the cockroach-infested debris, apply pesticide to the pad and surrounding area, and build a brand new building.

Could Barnhardt be right about the Vatican II corruption?
We’ll discuss if she’s right, but first let’s deal with if the FBI bureaucratic apparatus needs to be “abolished.”
Today, The Epoch Times’ Roger Kimball, who is the editor and publisher of The New Criterion and publisher of Encounter Books, actually, also, seemed to say that the FBI needs to be razed in his “Jan. 6 Is Looking Like a ‘Fedsurrection’” article:
Holman Jenkins, writing in The Wall Street Journal, lists a handful of the many shocking instances in which the agency was “hip deep” in corruption, incompetence, or some combination of the two.
“By now,” Jenkins writes, “after its performance in the 2016 election, the evidence might seem conclusive that the agency is a failed experiment, however able and dedicated many of its agents. … The agency should be scrapped and something new built to replace it.”
This is a conclusion echoed by the storied civil-rights lawyer Harvey Silverglate.
Writing in The Boston Globe, Silverglate notes that the corruption of the FBI is “too deeply embedded for effective reform.”
“The best solution,” he concludes, “The best solution is to abolish the FBI and start anew. We need to rethink the kind of agency needed to investigate federal crimes.”
But perhaps the most shocking litany of rot at the FBI has been compiled by Darren Beattie at Revolver News.
Beattie’s latest story revolves around Ray Epps, a Phoenix-based professional provocateur and, apparently, FBI asset.
Epps was originally near the top of the FBIs list of “most wanted” figures from the Jan. 6 protest-cum-riot at the Capitol.
Then a funny thing happened.
Epps’s name was purged from the FBI files.
Some 700 people have been arrested for their part in the Jan. 6 demonstration.
But Epps and a handful of other major players in that drama remain unindicted.
Indeed, although the FBI surely knows their identity, they remain nameless to the public, known only through amateur video footage of the event.
Hence their colorful soubriquets: “ScaffoldCommander,” “FenceCutterBulwark,” “BlackSkiMask,” etc.

The Dissent Magazine asked the same question about the CIA which had a photo of a top architect of Vatican II, Jacques Maritain, who was apparently a CIA operative in a 2014 post:

Next question, is it possible that Vatican II was a CIA operation?
In 2008, the liberal Catholic World admitted that Pope Pius XII was “preparing” to condemn probably the main architects of Vatican II Jacques Maritain and another architect of the Council John Courtney Murray “who “played a role in… Declaration on Religious Liberty”: “[T]he Holy Office was preparing an official condemnation of Murray, Jacques Maritain… only the death of Pope Pius XII on October 8, 1958… prevented this from happening.” (Catholic World, “Censuring of John Courtney Murray Part Two,” March/April 2008)
The CIA online library reports that:
“Agency files reveal the true origins of the Berlin conference… helped to solidify CIA’s emerging strategy of promoting the non-Communist left… the Agency’s political operations against Communism over the next two decades.”
The “teacher” of the pope Maritain who collaborated with the CIA non-Communist leftist “congress in Berlin,” also, collaborated with his “friend” the non-Communist leftist Saul Alinsky who he introduced to Paul VI before he became pope according to the above Remnant article.
Paul VI born Giovanni Montini “served in the Holy See’s Secretariat of State from 1922 to 1954. While in the Secretariat of State, Montini and Domenico Tardini were considered as the closest and most influential advisors of Pius XII.” The CIA in 2006 declassified the following OSS 1945 document that apparently connects the Secretariat of State or State Secretariat office where Montini worked at the time with Maritain:
“Sub-source stated that the appointment of Jacques Maritain as French ambassador to the Holy See one of the greatest problems to the Holy See, because Maritain… is a well-known leftist, who advocated a close collaboration with progressive-minded Catholics and radical elements, even Communists… The Maritain presence in the Vatican will be the focus of all such movement throughout the world. Another possible CIA operative besides Maritain who was a top architect of Vatican II on the “Declaration on Religious Liberty” was Fr. John Courtney Murray. Church Militant reported:

The Remnant, also, revealed America Magazine might be another Deep State propaganda operative:

And to end on a coincidence, if Pope Pius XII hadn’t died of two stokes on October 8, 1958 it is possible that Paul IV’s Vatican II might never have happened since two of its main architects would have been condemned.

Throughout the 1950s Murray promoted his ideas in Catholic journals where they received heavy criticism from the leading Catholic thinkers of the day. Msgr Fenton was the most prominent amongst those that opposed Murray as Murray’s line was much closer to Americanism which had been condemned by Leo XIII. Murray had the advantage of being friends with Clare Boothe Luce, the US ambassador to Italy and second wife of Henry Luce the prominent magazine magnate. Murray’s ideas were featured in Luce’s Time magazine, most prominently on December 12, 1960 when Murray graced the cover in a feature about ‘US Catholics and the State’.[5] Henry Luce was a prominent Republican and close friends with John Foster Dulles, (father of Avery Dulles SJ who known to be sympathetic to Murray’s theology)[6] and Allen Dulles. The CIA, during this period sought to use the news media to influence public opinion during the Cold War. Finally, did Vatican II cause the McCarrick scandal and the Francis sex abuse scandals?
The most hopeful statement in the gay mafia bishops network scandal has been when the ultimate “new springtime” of Vatican II Catholic Matthew Schmitz, senior editor at First Things, on August 16, 2018 in the Catholic Herald said:
“[T]he post-Vatican II settlement [of]… Upholding Catholic teaching on paper but not in reality has led to widespread corruption… has required a culture of lies… that allowed men like McCarrick to flourish… we must sweep it away.”
Schmitz shows that most bishops, liberal and conservative, want to continue the “new springtime” of Vatican II and it’s post-Vatican II settlement “that allowed men like McCarrick to flourish”:
“[Conservative] Bishop Barron also cautioned against what he called an “ideological” response… those who raise concerns about Humanae Vitae, priestly celibacy, or “rampant homosexuality in the Church” may be… causing a ‘distraction’.”
“No one cares for the endless Catholic culture wars, but we should be wary of attempts to shut down frank discussion of how we got here. Bishop Barron’s list of taboo topics suggests that he – like most bishops – is keen to preserve the settlement of 1968.”
“In that year, Pope Paul VI famously reaffirmed Catholic teaching on birth control in Humanae Vitae, but then declined to discipline the many bishops and priests who rejected that teaching. The result was an uneasy truce: the teaching was formally upheld, but obedience to it was not demanded.”
“The same dynamic played out in 2005, when the Vatican decided that men with ‘deep-seated homosexual tendencies’ should be barred from the priesthood.”
“… But for people in the pews, things don’t look so great. In 1955, nearly 75 per cent of American Catholics went weekly to Mass. Today, only 39 percent do. Outside of a few Latin Mass and “reform of the reform” enclaves, Mass-going Catholics suffer wrecked sanctuaries, botched liturgies and moral confusion. The taboo topic that all will not mention, but that the numbers above as well as the McCarrick and Pennsylvania scandals prove is thatVatican II is the cause of the “culture of lies… that allowed men like McCarrick to flourish.”
The Amoris Laetitia-like Vatican II document Dignitatis Humanae on the Catholic state is what brought about the “[u]pholding Catholic teaching on paper but not in reality.”
Traditionalists said it was a façade which was ambiguous and not defined teaching that would eventually have to be corrected.
Francis’s Vatican Archbishop Guido Pozzo who was negotiating with Society of Pius X for the Pope agreed with the Traditionalists that it was not defined teaching.
Pozzo said that Dignitatis Humanae “is not about doctrine or definitive statements, but… pastoral practice.” (Die Zeit, August 2016, Interview with Archbishop Guido Pozzo)
The greatest living American Thomist Edward Feser gives a brief summary of the history before and after Vatican II of the teaching on this subject and the ambiguity of the document:
“That depends. In the Catholic context, the traditional teaching, vigorously and repeatedly upheld by the 19th century and pre-Vatican II 20th century popes, is that ideally Church and state ought to cooperate. Contrary to an annoyingly common misunderstanding, these popes were not teaching that non-Catholics ought to be coerced by the state into becoming Catholics. Nor were they teaching that non-Catholics should be forbidden from practicing their own religions in the privacy of their own homes, their own church buildings or synagogues, etc. Rather, the issue was whether, in a country in which the vast majority of citizens were Catholic, non-Catholics ought to be permitted to proselytize and thereby possibly lead Catholics to abandon their faith. It was not denied that there can be circumstances in which such proselytizing might be tolerated for the sake of civil order. The question was whether non-Catholics have a strict right in justice to proselytize even in a majority Catholic society. And the pre-Vatican II popes taught that they did not have such a right, and that in a Catholic country the state couldin principle justly restrict such proselytizing (even if there are also cases where the state might not exercise its right to such restriction, if this would do more harm than good).”
“This was the teaching which Vatican II seemed to reverse, though the relevant document, Dignitatis Humanae, explicitly taught that it was “leav[ing] untouched traditional Catholic doctrine on the moral duty of men and societies toward the true religion and toward the one Church of Christ.” Yet whether the principles set out in Dignitatis Humanae really can be reconciled with the principles set out by the pre-Vatican II popes, how exactly they are to be reconciled if they can be, and which principles are more authoritative and ought to be retained if they cannot be reconciled — these have all been matters of controversy. They are controversies most Catholics, including conservative Catholics, have avoided. The reason, it seems to me, is that the older teaching is extremely unpopular in modern times, and thus whatever its current doctrinal status, most Catholics are happy to let it remain a dead letter and leave its precise relationship to Dignitatis Humanae unsettled. Yet a question unanswered and ignored is still a real question, and there are scholars who have in different ways attempted to apply to this one a “hermeneutic of continuity,” including Thomas Storck, Fr. Brian Harrison, and Thomas Pink.”
One knows a Vatican II document is a disaster when a defender of Dignitatis Humanae (DR) like Fr. Brian Harrison says:
“The effect DR have been much more harmful than beneficial for the Church, the world and most important, the honor due to Christ the King . . . The form in which it presents its truth is so one-sided, so poorly explained, so perilously open to unorthodox interpretation, and so infected with the spirit of liberal humanism, that its promulgation has turned out to be a cause of rejoicing for the Church’s worst enemies: freemasonry and all the other forces which seek to promote the ever more total secularization of society, the ever more complete exclusion of Our Lord Jesus Christ from His rightful sovereignty over the public life of nations, and confusion and division within the Church itself.” [http://www.dailycatholic.org/issue/05Dec/dec14agg.htm]
Christopher Ferrara stated why Dignitatis Humanae brought about “[u]pholding Catholic teaching on paper but not in reality has led to widespread corruption… has required a culture of lies… that allowed men like McCarrick to flourish”:

Unfortunately, almost all conservatives such as Archbishop Charles Chaput thought Dignitatis Humanae was defined teaching and not a disaster.
Apparently, Chaput teaches that “error has no rights” in paper, but in reality error has rights if “persons… choose falsehood over truth.” The Archbishop wrote:
“Error has no rights, but persons do have rights – even when they choose falsehood over truth… freedom of conscience, is – along with the right to life – the most important right any human being has.” (First Things, “Of Human Dignity,” March 18, 2015)
So did conservatives such as Chaput think that they on paper could teach that homosexuality was error, but in reality error had rights if “persons [such as the liberal McCarrick]… choose falsehood over truth… freedom of conscience”?
In fact, in 2001 when then President Bush met with Catholic leaders and his “‘longtime friend’ Cardinal McCarrick” who was there with him according to liberal Catholic Betty Clermont: “McCarrick; Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver.” (“The Neo-Catholics,” pages 154, 159)
What did Chaput know about McCarrick when he sat with him in that meeting?
Did he think McCarrick as a person had a right to freedom of conscience to falsehood over truth?
Does Chaput think that on paper that he can teach that homosexuality is a error but in reality error has rights if “persons [such as the liberal Fr. James Martin]… choose falsehood over truth… freedom of conscience”?
On March 31, 2017, LifeSiteNews in “Numerous ‘gay’ affirming parishes unopposed by bishops” reported that Chaput agrees with Martin when he “expressed concern about the use of ‘intrinsically disordered'” which is a defined Catholic teaching on homosexuality.
Chaput, also, defends gay activist Fr. Martin who taught on YouTube that chastity is not required of homosexuals. (Church Militant, “Father Martin: Homosexuals not Bound to Chastity, “September 20, 2017)
It appears that the “conservative” Chaput is using Dignitatis Humanae to build a bridge to hell for homosexuals by claiming on paper that the error of homosexuality has no rights, but in reality error has rights if “persons [such as Martin and McCarrick] choose falsehood over truth.”
Unfortunately, one of the main writers of Dignitatis Humanae was Pope John Paul II before he became pope. It appears that John Paul II when it came to the documented evidence of the sex abuse of a bishop taught that “error has no rights” in paper, but in reality error has rights if “persons… choose falsehood over truth”:
“In 1996, Kunz became a canon law adviser to the Roman Catholic Faithful (RCF), an Illinois-based group investigating the sexual abuse of boys by Catholic priests and bishops. Kunz was recommended to RCF by the Rev. John A. Hardon, SJ, a widely respected theologian and author who worked for several popes and had deep connections at the Vatican. Francis, as did John Paul II, thinks Dignitatis Humanae is a central document governing the Church after Vatican II. Francis appears to read the document even more radically than Chaput or John Paul which doesn’t even attempt the so-called “hermeneutics of continuity.” The present Pope said:
[A] secular state… is better than a confessional [Catholic] state, because confessional states always finish badly.” (Catholic World Report, “The end of the Catholic state?,” February 20, 2017)
The present top defender of Dignitatis Humanae, the ambiguous Francis, may with all liberal Catholics think “error has rights,” but, on the other hand, he may agree with Chaput that “error has no rights” in paper, but in reality error has rights if “persons… choose falsehood over truth.” Unfortunately, either way the result is the same when it comes to the gay sex abuse scandal:
It appears that if the sodomy scandal of McCarrick had been under then Cardinal Bergoglio in Argentina in 2005 when his sex scandal was finally fully publicly exposed he might have been given a letter of “gratitude” for his work for the poor.

This is merely an excuse for the FBI’s abuse of power.

Everyone knows that the media, such The New York Times, AP and others, are attempting to ruin Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano who is a whistleblower against the Francis Vatican sex abuse cover-ups.

Although it should go without saying, this is a very lengthy commentary. However, the material within its text is mean to serve as a reference resource for the readers of this site and to assist those who may want to send the article to others they know who may be more open to reexamining their views on the continuing efforts on the part of the public health fascists to deny the harm caused by the “vaccines” and to seek to intimidate those medical professionals who may at least suspect that something is wrong but live in fear of their licenses being revoked.
This commentary discusses the harm of the “vaccines,” the multiple efforts to suppress information about that harm, the ongoing schemes of intimidation to deter medical professionals from putting two and two together concerning the harm caused by the “vaccines” and then acting upon their conclusions, the continued outsized role of the Chinese Communist Party in shaping the “narrative” of the plandemic, the shameless attempt by the so-called “public health experts” to use the monkeypox as another “public health emergency,” and an entire section on sound medical treatments recommended by Dr. Peter A. McCullough for those who have contracted the virus.

Beto Fills Dems’ “Unmet Need” August 11, 2022 Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on Beto O’Rourke’s attack on a heckler and CNN’s response: Those who heckle a candidate for public office deserve to be removed from the venue where the incident takes place. When they are, it is to be expected that the candidate’s fans respond with applause. What is not expected is for the candidate to call the heckler a “mother******.” That’s what Beto O’Rourke did. The fans of the candidate for Texas governor—there weren’t too many in attendance—cheered him on. No one was more supportive than John Avlon, a CNN commentator. “It speaks to a need,” Avlon said, “a desire right now for a fiery liberalism that fights back.” Indeed, it goes beyond that. “It speaks to an unmet need in the Democratic base.” What is that need? Avlon didn’t say. And why did it have to be filled by calling the heckler a “mother******”? If O’Rourke had called the guy a jerk, why wouldn’t that have met the “unmet need in the Democratic base”? Is there something perverse about the base of the Democratic Party that only a vulgar man like O’Rourke can fulfill? Reporters who have covered O’Rourke have long noted what a filthy mouth he has. He likes hurling F-bombs so much that every time he loses a race for office—which is every other year—he drops it again. In 2020, Politico said O’Rourke is “apparently hoping that vulgarity will be an engine of his political revival in the Democratic presidential contest.” It obviously didn’t work. No matter, Avlon thinks it may work this time around. When CNN panelist Errol Lewis questioned whether O’Rourke’s obscene attack on the heckler will help him politically, Avlon shot back, “I can make a counter case.” That’s when he spoke about the “unmet need in the Democratic base” for politicians who use obscenities in public. Is that what the public wants, or just the base of the Democratic Party? In 2016, a survey of Americans found that 70 percent said incivility in politics was at a “crisis” level. In his Inaugural Address, Joe Biden spoke of the need for civility in politics. When he appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon in December last year, he lamented the lack of civility in politics. In 2011, PBS ran a headline, “President Obama’s Call for Civility,” and in 2016 The Hill featured a story, “Obama Calls for Increased Civility in Politics.” But did they mean it? Speaking about O’Rourke’s penchant for vulgarities, Stephanie Cutter, Obama’s 2012 deputy campaign manager, said in 2019 that “It’s good for him to show a little emotion and get angry so that people can see exactly where he stands and that he will fight for what he believes in.” Somehow Ronald Reagan managed to tell the American people “exactly where he stands” and “what he believes in” without getting crude. Perhaps that’s because there was no “unmet need” to speak like a tramp to the base of his party. When O’Rourke loses again, it remains to be seen how long it will take before he meets the “unmet need in the Democratic base.”

The Lincoln Journal Star reports Celeste Burgess, 18, of Norfolk, was nearly 24 weeks pregnant in April when her mother, Jessica Burgess, 41, allegedly gave the teenager abortion pills to kill her unborn baby, according to police. Later, police said the two burned and buried the baby’s body.
Both mother and daughter recently were charged in the incident and pleaded not guilty in court.
Norfolk police said they uncovered messages between the mother and daughter through Facebook Messenger that indicate the teen wanted to abort her viable, late-term unborn baby, and her mother obtained abortion pills to do it.
The messages show a callous disregard for the unborn baby’s life even though the child already was basically fully formed and capable of surviving outside the womb. According to police, Celeste Burgess told her mother that she “can’t wait to get the ‘thing’ out of her body” and she was looking forward to wearing jeans again.
He found messages from Jessica Burgess indicating that she has obtained abortion pills for her daughter and giving her instructions on how to take them. She also wrote about a plan “to burn the evidence afterward.”
Celeste Burgess “talks about how she can’t wait to get the ‘thing’ out of her body,” the detective wrote. “I will finally be able to wear jeans,” she says in another message.
Initially, police said Jessica Burgess told them that her daughter had gone into premature labor and gave birth to a stillborn baby on April 22. However, police said they later found records of conversations between the mother and daughter about abortion drugs.
According to CBS News, Jessica Burgess’s charges in Madison County District Court include performing or attempting an abortion at greater than 20 weeks, performing an abortion when not a licensed doctor, removing/concealing/abandoning a dead human body, concealing the death of another person and false reporting.
Celeste Burgess also was charged with removing/concealing/abandoning a dead human body, concealing the death of another person and false reporting, according to the report.
A third individual, Tanner Barnhill, 22, admitted to police that he helped the Burgesses bury the baby’s body. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of attempting to concealing the death of another person, the report states.
Meanwhile, abortion activists are using the case to stir up outrage, claiming pro-life laws unfairly punish women for abortions. Some even urged women to delete Facebook because the social media company provided information to police in response to a search warrant, according to Newsweek.
“Nothing in the valid warrants we received from local law enforcement in early June, prior to the Supreme Court decision, mentioned abortion,” Meta, the parent company of Facebook, responded in a statement. “The warrants concerned charges related to a criminal investigation and court documents indicate that police at the time were investigating the case of a stillborn baby who was burned and buried, not a decision to have an abortion.”
Initially, police said their investigation centered around the improper disposal of the baby’s body. However, after further investigation, they said they discovered evidence of the illegal abortion.
Abortions are legal for any reason up to 20 weeks in Nebraska, and illegal abortion charges are extremely rare. Madison Country attorney Joseph Smith said this is his first case involving abortion charges in his 32 years of practice, News 18 reports.
The teen is not facing abortion charges, only her mother is. Jessica Burgess is charged because she allegedly put her daughter’s life at risk and killed her unborn grandchild by performing an illegal, late-term abortion.
Late-term abortions are risky for the pregnant mother as well as her unborn baby, and some states that allow late-term abortions require that they be done by a licensed doctor in a hospital because the risks are so high.
It is not clear from reports what abortion drugs Jessica Burgess allegedly obtained for her daughter, but the most common, mifepristone and misoprostol, are not recommended after the first 10 weeks of pregnancy.
Abortion activists claim stories like these prove that the pro-life movement wants to punish mothers for aborting their unborn babies, but the truth is that pro-life laws protect both mothers and babies from abortions.
Recently, pro-life leaders representing 70 organizations published an open letter opposing laws that punish mothers for abortions. The pro-life movement supports laws that prosecute abortionists and those who help them abort unborn babies.

Many Americans were shocked at the scenes on Monday of heavily-armed FBI agents wielding fully-automatic weapons raiding Donald Trump’s private estate in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Of course, Joe Biden and the Democrats are saying the raid had absolutely nothing to do with politics.
Instead, they claim the search warrant was conducted in connection with the National Archives.
But critics argue that this is more proof of Joe Biden weaponizing federal agencies to go after his political opponents.
Former lawyer for Hillary Clinton spills the beans
Marc Elias worked as a top attorney for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign.
Elias responded to the news in a post on social media where he revealed the real reason the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago.
“The media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid today is a potential blockbuster in American politics,” Elias wrote in a tweet containing an image of 18 U.S. Code § 2071 – Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally.
Elias was referring to a portion of the U.S. Code Title 18, Section 2071 that states, “Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”
The process is the punishment
In a follow-up comment, Elias admitted that this approach may not work at preventing Trump from running in 2024 because “qualifications are set in the Constitution,” not in federal code.
“Yes, I recognize the legal challenge that application of this law to a president would garner (since qualifications are set in the Constitution),” Elias wrote.
But Elias understands that the process is often the punishment.
And the process of dragging Trump through a major trial would be a “blockbuster in American politics” for Democrats to air on a daily basis during the Presidential election.
“But the idea that a candidate would have to litigate this during a campaign is in my view a ‘blockbuster in American politics,’” Elias added.
This is only the latest attempt from Joe Biden and the Democrats to stop Donald Trump from running for President again in 2024.
But this time they went too far.
Republicans are rallying behind Donald Trump like never before, with even moderate members of the Party like Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy vowing to exact revenge if they take back Congress this fall.
And Joe Biden’s desperate attempt to take down Donald Trump will end up making him a stronger and more powerful opponent in 2024.
